The lunch staple for the poor college student, with $5 subs that'll definitely fill you up. Jimmy johns has been a consistent player in my book, as their ingredients taste pretty fresh every time I get a sub. But what keeps me coming back is definitely their bread, which is miles ahead of subway. I always get LBI (leave bread in) so they don't take the filling out!

Yep, it's freaky fast. My customer's office is in a part of town where you might not want to be wandering, even when it's daylight. Boarded up windows, bars over windows, empty lots with rubble. Just a general vibe, I guess. So when it's lunch time, what's a dude to do? Call for delivery, of course! Jimmy John's is right up the street on the Marquette campus and while they'll take a telephone order, oddly they don't accept Internet orders for the address where I need delivery. Whatevs, it's still there fast. Yes, freaky fast. Twenty minutes for two sandwiches. How does that happen? Sammiches are the usual JJ's quality. No complaints at all there. Though it would be nice if they could include a napkin or two in the bag. Yes, they'll deliver ONE sandwich. Awesome!

What is with this location and the inability to give out Mayo packets?!?! I order and eat in....No Mayo Packets! I order and take out....No Mayo Packets! I call for delivery....No Mayo Packets! I order online for delivery....No Mayo Packets! I don't care how Freaky Fast my sub is made if it isn't made correctly!! Come on Guys! It's a Mayo Packet....it isn't that difficult!!

I used to go here all the time when I was a student at Marquette. Sandwiches are typical of any other Jimmy John's chain. However, these guys make their sandwiches much faster than any other chain I tried. Being right in the middle of a college town, this is a very good thing as lines can form quickly. Another plus is they are open late (if I remember correctly, even as late as 1-2 am).

A late night dinner with my Marquette daughter. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was good. If you want good sandwiches at a good price and quick service, this is the place to go. My daughter must go here a lot for her meals, so she was a little reluctant to eat here, but when you are hungry and do not want to wait around, there is no better place than Jimmy Johns.

It's freaky fast even when you dine in! I got sucked into eating here when I dropped off son #1 at Marquette. I'm all about visiting the local hot spots, but had to go here because he didn't want to wait! (Insert Mom guilt trip here, which didn't work). I had turkey in a lettuce wrap which was ok. How can you screw that up? He had an Italian sub which was not good according to him. He said there was no flavor. I think he said it was "inert" meaning nothing stood out and it was too bland. This guy LOVES Firehouse Italian subs. He likes the oil and vinegar dripping. This sub had mayo and according to him, they used an eye dropper on the oil and vinegar. What did he expect? There was a million people there and they were just cranking out the sandwiches. Next time I am picking out the place, using a new and improved guilt trip, and dining there!

Actually if there was a negative star I would put -5!!!! Customer Service is not something that this store care to have!!!! Ordered for delivery and NEVER got it! I called to ask where it was and they told me the # I gave was wrong! I was calling for the very # they repeated to me! They said they would send the guy back and I watched the guy drive away for the HOTEL ! I was standing in the lobby he just drove off I called back for the 3rd time and asked for owners name and the "Manager" said he wasn't going to tell me and that his drivers said I never picked up the phone when they called, so it's my fault??? Really? I am sure the owner would love to know that his employees are driving money out of his business! So yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you care at all about customer service... I am paying you for your product if you want my money at least act like you care!

Faster than average delivery, although that should be expected. Sandwiches are typical of JJ's, nothing special. The store itself, when I go in person, is hit and miss. Sometimes there are people working who exhibit personality, and sometimes they may as well be pounding out license plates in prison for all the smile they show. Bartime makes this place that much more enjoyable. I mean, hey, we're in the middle of Marquette. It's like watching Jersey Shore and Spring Break combined.

I eat at this Jimmy John's a lot, being a Marquette student. They certainly are fast, both in restaurant and delivery. The subs are good, but that's to be expected with the formulaic chain sub restaurant food. However, what they lack is any personal skills or customer relationship finesse. Often they have been rude or short with me for the sake of speed. If you have not eaten at Jimmy John's before or are feeling indecisive, don't get in line until you absolutely know exactly what you want to order, and have your payment in-hand. Otherwise you will be treated with contempt for slowing down the process.

I stopped by this Jimmy John's today during a rushed part of my evening. As I dug for change for the meters outside the shop, I found a nickel -- in Marquetteland, a nickel gets you three minutes on a meter. I figured, well, what the heck, and sprinted to the store -- when I left, there were still two minutes left on the meter. Delicious customized sandwich AND time to spare. So fast I nearly freaked. Thanks, Jimmy John's!
