As many times as I've eaten Jimmy John's sandwiches, I can't believe that I've never reviewed them. I've been to many different locations in many different states. I'd have to say that they are all about the same. Most locations are open late. So, very good for people who work third shift and very good for starving drunks after the club or people who were previously drunk and are now hungover. They deliver. They are fast.....So fast you'll freak. I love the chocolate chip cookies. YUMMY! I've tried many of the different sandwiches, and they were all delicious. This time, I saw them actually making the bread. I've never seen that before and actually didn't know if they did bake their own bread. Usually, the cashier will take the order and by the time I am done paying, the sandwich will already be made. It depends which location I go to, but some of them will throw the sandwich to the cashier so that the cashier can hand it to me. It is actually quite efficient. Today I got a pretty rare glimpse of an incomplete pass. The girl who made the sandwich threw it to the cashier as he was turning back towards me and didn't know that the sandwich was airborne and on its way. It hit him in the arm and fell on the ground. They made a new one in no time and I was on my way. I've seen a sandwich dropped before, but it was more of a fumble and not an incomplete pass. Cheap entertainment.

This location is ridiculously fast. They are usually done with my order by the time I am done paying. Maybe because of this I rarely see a line. I don't think I've ever had to wait behind more than one person, and more often than not I am the only one They are right by UWM. Very conveniently located. They also deliver, which my department takes advantage of! Avocado spread. As a vegetarian, I find most sub shops make the most boring sandwiches. But JJs has avocado spread, and for that (as a self-professed avocado fiend) they have won my loyalty. BUT sometimes I question if they even put any avocado spread on! The last time I asked for more of it and got charged extra. Boo. I mean, I should be able to taste it without having to add it as a side or whatever, right? Also their bread is really funky. I think it tastes gross, it's chewy and not very bread-like. Its appearance often changes, once it was all scratched up to the point where I wondered if I should even eat it. Last time it was really light colored where it looked like the batch didn't cook correctly.

Freaky fast. Wicked fast. Super extra fast, because this location is nestled in the heart of the UWM area. All the usual suspects: Turkey Toms, Tuna party whatever its called, that veggie sub with the avocado spread that's super good, as well as JJ's "artisanal" variety of sandwiches (or whatever, again, I can't recall exactly what those offerings all entail, but I know you can get them on fluffy wheat breads should you so choose, and also, they'll mix up ham and turkey and add all sorts of other goodies). As far as JJ locations in MKE go, this one's pretty stellar! Just remember that you'll be facing throngs of UGG-wearing, white-baseball cap wearing, "like"-uttering, angst-ridden college folk. Be warned.

THIS IS THE NEW JIMMY JOHNS WHAT THAT I ORDER THEM FOODS FROM. They shut down the one on brady or somethin'. Or changed the delivery zone. Now this is my place.When i'm drunk. I dunno what happened. They just told me one day, that my call was forwarded to the one on oakland since the other was under double secret probation or some shijt. Shijt. Fine. Cool. Just gimme sammich when boozy. But this one fucks it up. They're nice on the phone, but the brady st. one ran a tight ship. For as busy as those fuckfaces were, they more or less never fucked up. TIGHT SHIP. But this new joint. They'll fuck it up for you. wrong bread. mayo when you don't want it. That kinda shit. It'll get to ya on time but the details are BOON-DOGGLED. It's been like 4 times now and twice it's been fucked. Whaddamy sposda do, give up? Naw. I give my local underemployed stoned college kids the benefit of the doubt. Thus the 3 stars. And we all know jimmy johns tastes good despite the amateur hour stuff. And their owner is a republicrotch douche. Regardless of the goodbread. Anyway................ i know you nice kids got it in ya to put the pipe down and take an order correctly. Just give a fuck. A little one.

I love jimmy johns, but hate this location. The last two times I have been there they gave me the wrong sub! Ended up throwing it away after I got home. It's not a hard concept to take an order then hand someone that order. And the times they did get the order right, it didn't taste good. It's only this location I have this problem with. I won't be coming back.

Fantastic sub place that truly delivers like they said. " SUBS SO FAST YOU'LL FREAK!!!!" I was without question surprised how quickly my order was at my door literally just after I hung up the phone. Was an easy 5-7 minutes. Will order again from this location without question!

The food is great if they get the order right. I usually have to repeat my order three times and am often disappointed when they mess my uncomplicated order up. The good news is that their mistakes come in different forms: I got a free sub today because they just forgot to charge me.

All Jimmy Johns are pretty equal as far as quality goes, which is nice because you always know what to expect but I like this particular Jimmy Johns because their staff is consistently up beat and on the ball. Also, they literally do have service so fast you'll freak. I called and placed my sandwich order for delivery at 5:07. They arrived at 5:17. I was all about that. JJ's is definitely my go to choice for nursing a hangover.

I loveeeeee Jimmy Johns! It is always delicious and fast! There are many decisions on this menu, they will also accommodate with any changes. If you love their french bread ask for "Guts on the side." They give you the extra bread from the inside on top. So you have extra soft bread for later! There are not too many spots to sit, but usually this is a "grab and go" type of place. The parking is horrible because it is shared with Noodles and Company. So be prepared to battle for a parking spot!

5 minutes. That's how long it took to get a delivery today. I hadn't even gotten a chance to exit my web browser! And the delivery guy was super nice today; as I was filling out my receipt, he made small talk and asked me how my day had been. Never had a bad experience here!

I love everything about Jimmy John's. How fast they make their sandwiches, the mayo, the bread, and the sprouts. I wish I had enough money to franchise one out in San Diego. I wake up in the middle of the night dreaming of a Turkey Tom (true story: my sister is neighbors with THE Turkey Tom's niece). Badger (my BF) craves their homemade pickles and drinks out of his commemorative Jimmy John's plastic cup every week or so to pay homage. You might call us freaks but I know you're hooked too!

I have been to this place countless times and it is GREAT! They guys working there are always really nice to fellow college students and they are FAST. CHEAP. and DELICIOUS! They are also super quick when you order at about 2:00AM for reasons why one might be ordering that early are undisclosed :D haha anyways they are really quick to get the food to you and you can't go wrong with a quick jimmy john's sammich to satisfy your hunger.

Just a disclaimer, I am an ex employee, but I was a fan long before I ever worked there, and I still am. Back when I lived on the east side I would eat Jimmy Johns about 3-4 times a week. Everything there is fresh, everything is sliced fresh there and from experience I can tell you its all used right away. Bread is being baked all day so its always fresh. I havent been there in a while and due to it being located close to a campus the staff has changed dramatically and the last time I went it look just a little bit longer than normal but 9 times out of 10 you get your sandwich before you get your change. There is usually a line late night Thurs thru Sat. Delicious quality food. My sandwich is a number 1 {applewood smoked ham and cheese} no tomatoes with cucumber,sprouts,avocado{guac}and bacon. On the lighter side they have lettuce wraps and slims, which are just meat and cheese on hot fresh bread. Or if your feeling adventurous you can try the gargantuan. Ham, turkey, salami, capicola, roast beef, cheese, veggies. Its huge and will fill you up! Always a good looking late night crowd too. Delivery is always, as they say, freaky fast.Never more than 15 minutes.

Jimmy John's has the freshest subs I have ever had and it SMELLS so good inside, better than any other sub shop. I don't know how they make them so good, they have very basic ingredients, nothing fancy and they're always very fresh. And they are VERY true to their advertising, as they make them up within a few seconds. THe only place faster is Kopp's.
