There was a time when I used to think positively of Culver's. I took a break from frequenting them and went back a few times this year. This potentially being the last time. Let's just start out by saying the customer service is grade C adequate. No bad experience here but no good ones either. It's indifferent. Employees typically address you and take your order in a monotone fashion and offer no personal interaction. You introverts should delight in this stripped down approach. I find the lack of human emotion lacking but reflective of the typical office type from the area that floods in for the lunch hour. Perhaps my memory is decaying like this Mall (as Paul D noted) but I do recall things being slightly bigger in portions and better quality. Call me crazy if you will. I remember the patty's being a small percentage bigger. What I got today really had to be 1-2oz smashed into a flavorless cake. That's ok because the solution at Culver's is to top it with plenty of miscellaneous product and call it a day. Notable is the unmelted rubbery Kraft single haphazardly tossed on the pile. Didn't we used to melt these things? The fries I am certain must be frozen Ore-Ida bags snatched from your local supermarket. The structure looks like a crinkle cut fry but in all honesty I am tasting more of the cooking oil. The inside of the fry fluctuates between mealy/grainy and slightly hollow. Mainly they are grease flavored shells that may or may not contain a small amount of potato-like substance. The chocolate shake was just that. It was more loose than I anticipated but maybe that's the joke since you'll be more loose after eating this depressing meal. Which is exactly what it was. I went here on a whim after realizing another restaurant closed and I was pressed for time. Next time I will make the better choice and just not eat. Had this been less then the $10 I spent maybe we could say "It's decent cheap fast food" (if we were hungover justifying spending money on this dross) but it wasn't. Your money would be better spent elsewhere? Need a burger? Go anywhere else. Too bad 5 guys on Ogden closed. That would have done me far better for the same price. It's not very often that I regret my decision to eat somewhere but Culver's has declined. If it was quick and cheap maybe we could argue for this. Orders take quite some time which is interesting because I can't imagine it takes 8 minutes to cook a 1 oz 1/64th in high patty. Perhaps it was shaping the grease into a crinkle cut fry shape to trick me? If your in the mall spend your money anywhere else (Jakes, Qdoba, Subway, etc) there are also a bevy of restaurants in the area that would better serve you. This is one of the weaker choices you could go with.

I have wanted to try Culver's for a long time. I was not impressed. The burgers were paper thin and greasy. The fries were thick and bland. I will stick to Kopps or Northpointe.

At least this(and the rest of Grand Ave.'s food court), and a handful of other stores help to make up for the eh feeling, I always get when it comes to this mall. It satisfies my Culver's cravings I get every so often, and it's convenient. What can I say? Now can someone finally tell corporate to open up one inside the State of Illinois Center in Chicago, or at least another one of the downtown malls? Heck, open up at North Bridge or Block 37(now THAT'S a mall that actually makes Grand Ave. look decent, lmao!) if you want, but open at least ONE in downtown Chicago. Pretty please?

Why doesn't this place exist on the East coast? The burgers are TOP NOTCH for a fast food joint. There's even a crust from the sear! In NY, you can barely get that in a diner, let alone the fast food places. I had the Culver's burger first and it tasted really good. Good crust on the outside of the meat, with a juicy inside. Then, I had the butter burger, which is the former with butter. Mmm...

Culver's is usually my favorite fast food place, but this location is always awful. On my most recent visit I had the pot roast sandwich and the pot roast was absolutely disgusting. Way too salty, and way too greasy. There was an actual puddle of grease in the bottom of my basket when I finished. The fries were oversalted as well. Please don't judge every Culver's location based on this store....but this store is disgusting.

This Culver's is located in a long decaying mall in the heart of Milwaukee. Every time I get to Wisconsin, I head to a Culver's for a Butter Burger and a Turtle Concrete. You can't do any better for taste and maxing out your calories in one sitting. I just hope I can stay awake long enough to write this review since the sugar crash has started.

ive been frequenting this location for a while now and have, as of late, been there more often than id like to admit. honestly, the food is meh. its fast food. the cheese is never melted on my burger. (just thrown on before wrapping it up) I understand that this place gets a lot more traffic during lunch but it seems like the quality suffers because of that. my main complaint is the service. on multiple occasions, like someone else stated, it is a very stripped down interaction. order, pay, move to the side. no hello, thank you, etc. there is one woman in particular who is extremely grouchy who usually is screaming out the ticket numbers while angrily looking around. the issue that pushed me over today was that I ordered a plain cheeseburger and was charged for a double. After I brought this to their attention there was no apology on their side that an error was made. The cashier insisted that I had said double cheeseburger. last thing I knew, double and plain did not sound the same. in any case, he turned around, said something to someone behind the grill and then stood there in silence leaving me wonder what was going on. After close to 2 minutes I had to ask if someone was coming to help him or me, for that matter. He just said a quick 'yes' im assuming it was the manager that came over and she typed some things in, swiped a card, and then the gentleman asked for my card. swiped it, had me sign, and gave me my ticket. there was no apology for having me wait, not explaining what was going on, or just a general apology from the manager. in fact I was never addressed after I had to ask if someone was coming to help. it didn't help that I only had 20 minutes for lunch and this took up almost 10 minutes (including the wait time for my one plain cheeseburger). while this might not sound horrid, it was very very awkward, poorly handled, a big waste of time, rude, and just plain bad customer service. I would usually have given this place 3 stars but this definitely bumped it down to 2.

This is the first time I have eaten at a culver's inside a food court. As far as I know it is the only one of it's kind. The only difference that I noticed is that instead of receiving your number on a colorful, blue piece of plastic, it is instead just printed on your receipt. Of course this means that the service of food delivery to your table is scratched and you must pick up the food yourself at the counter, no big deal. There is ample seating so you should have no problem finding a spot. You can count on the same tasty culver's fare that you get at any "regular" culver's. If you have never been to a culver's resaurant I would highly recommend it as one of the best fast food burgers out there (close to Five Guys & In-N-Out). A double butter burger or a deluxe burger with cheese curds will not disappoint. And for the custard, it's not as good as other places's custard but still better than ice cream. There is a daily flavor along with the staples of vanilla and chocolate. Overall you can't go wrong with the consistent food of culver's, eat here.
