Working in the vicinity (you didn't really think I'd tell you where I work, did you FBI???), I have been here for lunch at least 8 times. I do try to avoid it on Fridays because of the high Amtrak traffic. It's a smaller cafe located within the Amtrak station if you didn't already know. I have had breakfast foods, hamburgers, burritos and wraps. All worth your while. Wide variety of fresh made, refrigerated sandwiches and other things you'd find in one of those open refrigerators in a cafe. Last time I was there they had Alterra coffee. Considering it's at a train station, expect the prices to be a little bit higher than out of a mass transit station. Friendly service and usually not long a wait in line. Place could be better if they had some kind of conductor mascot walking around giving high fives or tooting an invisible horn. Let's flood the suggestion box!

This cafe serves breakfast all day, and also offers Collectivo coffee and Naked juices, both a plus for me. If I hadn't been told that the ham was turkey ham in my egg, cheddar and ham (turkey) pita sandwich, I wouldn't have known. There was also a lot of egg in that pouch, which may be a plus for you. The young lady who took our order came by our table later and asked if everything was OK, which was nice. Two breakfast sandwiches, a hash brown, a Naked juice and a water set us back 11 bucks, which isn't bad for breakfast.

Simple pleasures done well. I enjoyed nachos with cheese that were served warm with melted cheese. Plentiful. Then I ate a salted soft pretzel. This was hot, soft and delicious. This was accompanied by a bottle of root beer. The restaurant was a comfortable place to eat, read and wait for my train. The workers were friendly and efficiently. The trifecta of good food, good service, and pleasant environment us rarely reached in these Types of establishments.

Quick service. Falafel sandwich was surprisingly good and inexpensive ($5 something).

I am so absolutely dumbfounded that any venue demands a charge of 50 cents for hot water (when you have your own cup!!) that I had to write this review. I take the amtrak several times a week and support this venue constantly but with such uncalled for treatment to any (including loyal) supporters is unacceptable. I will personally cease immediately to support them until they start to see what is worth charging for and what is pure decent customer service! I hoe you do the same!!!

Extremely convenient for those of us who take the train regularly. You COULD eat a sandwich out of a vending machine (who does that, by the way?) or you can stop in here and have a fresh one made for you in minutes for about the same price. Key benefits - several options for vegetarians, good coffee, reasonable prices, no pork served. The owner is Muslim so any bacon is turkey bacon which is better for you anyway. I love the Aladdin stand at the Public Market and try to patronize this cafe when taking the train. You can certainly get conventional items but the Middle Eastern offerings are super tasty and a nice change from the usual slop available at train stations. Plus - the owner is a really nice guy who always recognizes me and says "hi".

Aladdin's All-Aboard Cafe is by far the best train station fare I've experienced. It kicks big-time ass of all the franchise crap you generally see in most depots, like Corner Bakery, McDonald's, etc. I was starving when I arrived in Milwaukee yesterday, and was thrilled and surprised to stumble into Aladdin's, which is strategically placed right when you get into the station from getting off the train. There is a wide range of menu options including FRESH, cooked to order breakfast items, burgers and hot dogs, sandwiches, fresh-grilled paninis and a handful of Middle Eastern fare. Also available: smoothies, candies and snacks, and Stone Creek Coffee, which was damn good. Prices: so very reasonable. Quality: My falafel sandwich was first rate; a generous portion, not greasy, and not dry - just perfect. The tahini sauce (or whatever that was), was tasty!! This place holds its own. No surprise: I did some checking, and the boss man is Azmi Alaeddin, also operator of Aladdin Tastes of the East at the Milwaukee Public Market. Four stars because they were out of the soup I ordered, and I was really in a soup mood.

The chicken curry and rice is savoury. There Egyptian rice and chicken is different... It's filled with chickpeas, beans/seeds, seasoned fried onions and Macaroni. I liked them both!

Their cheese fries ruin my diet occasionally, but make me happy. This is a middle eastern joint, so their falafel, hummus, spinach pie, etc. are their best offerings. Some of my co-workers swear by their burritos, but they just have meat burritos so I'm not sure about that.

This place is the bomb! It has gyros, tex-mex, breakfast food, burgers, and paninis all in one place. What more could you want from a train station restaurant?
