    I have been here probably 15 times and the pizza and garlic bread have been consistently fabulous. Casual atmosphere is a definite plus...just go to the bar when you are ready to order. They run a tab for you and bring your food out when it is ready. We always get the cheese garlic bread-delish! Super buttery with lots of garlic and cheese! We enjoy it while drinking a beer and chatting before ordering our thin crust pizza which is always perfect topped with sausage, pepperoni, and black olives. I've never had any other food so I have no idea how it is...I'm a pizza nut and this place really does it for me. My dad recently took me to Mama Mias-doesn't even come close to MPC!

    Pretty good pizza, thin, crispy crust, sauce is decent this why we keep coming back for more. We have not ordered any thing else off the menu just pizza. Beer selection is good we always orders something different and when we sit at the bar the bartenders are pleasant if they aren't too busy. Located out of the way but its a nice drive. As for the service and ordering system, do not come here if you're looking to be waited on. That said come here if you enjoy a casual night out for good pizza and beer. We have grown to like not being bothered during our meal and it makes you think twice before you get up for that second beer if you really need/want it. You know you would automatically order another one if you had a server at your table. As for the noise it depends on how full they are it can get noisy but oh well what do you expect it's sort of bar with booths and tables.

    The pizza and other dishes here are excellent! We love the homemade chips and thin crispy pizza. They have many gluten free options which are very much appreciated by our family. The staff and owner are always very friendly and every visit we've ever had here has been great.

    Being a "pizza snob" as it were, a new pizza joint feels like a new exciting experience every time. Mequon pizza did amazing for me. Tucked away in a subdivision of Mequon this cozy, rustic restaurant bar makes up for the hassle of finding with mouth watering, fingerlicking good pizza and entrees. The thin crust is a definite must try!

    I love the "space" of the new location (formerly Albaneses). The pizza here is unbelieveable! You have to try it. They do things a little differently by putting the cheese on first. The atmosphere is casual, and you order your drinks and food from the bartender. When your pager goes off you go up and get it yourself. This is a great place to go with families and groups.

    Excellent thin crusted "sauce-high" pizza, Love that they offer whole wheat crust. Good Caesar Salad, but best to have dressig on the side or they'll over-soak. Really enjoy sitting at the large bar and watching a game (bummer though, that they bounced us once to a table w/a bad TV angle cuz one son is 15 1/2 and not 18.

    This is such a cozy and inviting looking little place in a quiet, wooded residential area. It's always made me think of that Sopranos season one finale where there's a big storm and the power's out and Tony and the fam go to Artie Bucco's place and he makes them pasta by candlelight for a moment Tony's thinking that all is well in his violent world. Well--the Mequon Pizza Company is almost that kind of place. The pizza and lasagna are basic and reasonably priced; solid and plentiful. The atmosphere is comfy with soft lights and big plushy booths. The Mequon Pizza Company isn't perfect. The acoustics in this place are really too loud for talking. The crowd is kind of country clubby in an annoying way (if you're a prick, at least be a hipster, in my book). No waiters! You order at the bar and pick your food up when a pager buzzes. Weird. But, hey, I'd gladly go back. I have a soft spot that Sopranos episode.

    Wonderful pizza, but always an irritating dining experience. For what I'm paying I think I deserve a waiter/waitress. None of the entrees that I have ordered have ever been anything special but the pizza is hard to beat.

    I tried this pizza place yesterday based on its high Yelp rating, but I was still surprised at how really good the pizza is. I must say I was turned off by their lack of waiter service, but they nailed it where it really matters: the pizza. You have to build your own pizza, but the good thing is that at $1.00 the toppings are accessibly priced. I ordered mine with roasted tomatoes, garlic, pineapple and ham. The tomato sauce had great flavor and the thin crust was good (although I would have liked it to be more crunchy and cracker like). One of these days I will skip breakfast and lunch and take on their 'Terminator Challenge' to try and eat a whole pizza by myself in an hour.

    Tomaso's is a solid, Italian food and pizza joint in Mequon. They have since moved from their Piggly Wiggly shopping center location to the old Albanese's space on River Road. The new space looks nothing like the quaint and cozy restaurant of years past. Tomaso's has transformed the space into a light, airy bar/restaurant. The vast bar dominates the floor space serving up an excellent selection of taps from Fat Tire to Spotted Cow. Tomaso's still delivers on excellent pizzas and Italian fare. We recently had an 18" pizza filled to the brim with italian sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and onions. We scarfed down the pizza as it hit the spot. Their appetizers looked especially tasty ranging from calamari to fried ravioli (an old beloved St. Louis favorite of mine). Tomaso's is a great Mequon institution with a beautiful new location and satisfying food.

    This is the best thin crust pizza place anywhere in the world. Now that they are no longer in a strip mall, this place has it all: Rustic atmosphere set in the woods, great selection of tap and bottle beer, and of course, the most consistent and tasty thin crust pizza. The crust is crispy throughout and has a wonderful flavor to it. The sauce is adequate and appropriately spicy, not sweet like many places. The toppings (try the sundried tomatoes) are fresh and delicious, but the pizza is not greasy. Pizza lovers, this is a must if you are ever in Milwaukee. I've tried the best in Chicago, Boston and Rome. This is on a par with any, besides, how can you improve upon perfection?

    Best pizza I've ever had. Great atmosphere. Great place to socialize or watch a game on one of their very good led flat screens. Owners and staff are very friendly. Highly recommend going here vs. any other pizza joint in ozaukee county. They also have an outstanding fish fry. Thin crispy coated cod.

    Tomaso's has become my go to place for pizza in Mequon/Thiensville. I do not like anything else that this restaurant has to offer, but the pizza is consistently good.

    This is undoubtedly the BEST pizza in Milwaukee. Their classic thin crust with sausage is my favorite and their beer selection is extensive and impressive. The weekly specials are really satisfying too. The fish fry, BBQ ribs and taco lasagna are all TDF! Such a great family restaurant.

    I wanted to love this pizza. We ordered take out and by the time we got the pizza home it just seemed like it was missing something. The crust was thin, but the sauce didn't have the "oomph" I was looking for. Maybe we need to try dining in for a better experience. Or maybe they should start delivering so that the pizza can be transported in an insulated bag to stay nice and warm. That would be helpful.

    A group of eight of us went to MPCo because I had heard some great things about it. The food was just ok but the dining experience itself was horrible. There are no servers so you have to go to the bar and order- God help you if you have any questions because the bartender was quite impatient. It took forever to get our apps which were very expensive for what you get. It took forever for our salads to come and there was a hair in my niece's salad. Half the table got their food which was lukewarm. The other half of the table waited another 15 minutes. There's no one who's obviously in charge so I complained to one of the hostesses who said she would "find out what was going on." Well, she never got back to us. Then, after two hours, we got our bill which wasn't itemized because as the manager rudely told us was because "it won't print because you ordered so many things." When we described the poor food quality and how long we waited he was very gruff and made it sound like it was our fault because our party had eight people and we should have told him before we ate our food!?!? Hello..... We thought you were the bartender and we DID tell someone who blew us off! To top it all of, my brother took the money to the bar to pay and the manager and hostess stood around the table looking for the money saying "did those people get up and not pay?!?!?" A terrible experience- maybe not the place to go if you have more than 4 people. And the pizza is exactly like Tomaso's.

    Sausage pizza. Thin crust. Big sausage pieces. Good tvs bar atmosphere. Being from Chicago I'm biased to pizza but this place was good. Seems they put the sauce on top and cheese on bottom. Sauce is good.

    This place is great. The food is full-on delicious. It's American style Italian food with the great cheese and bright tangy sauce I love. My last visit was on Father's day and I had the spinach lasagna. Lasagna is one of my favorite foods, but it's always iffy when served in a restaurant. Let me say that the noodles were al dante and not mushy. The cheese was flavorful and gooey. The spinach was delicious and not cooked to oblivion. We also enjoyed their wonton wrapped mozzarella stix and fried ravioli. Bathrooms: immaculate Space: clean and open Food: awesome Service: pretty dang good There are only two reasons why this place didn't get a 5 star rating: 1) the bartender handed me my beer glass with his fingers on the rim. Dude, get your fingers off of the place where I'm going to put my lips. Hold it on the BOTTOM! 2) they have a really bizarre ordering system which requires me to order at the bar and then retrieve my food from the bar myself. I'm okay with that, it's kind of kitschy, but I would like it if they would tell you that when you walk in.

    Great Pizza, love the newly remodeled place. I agree, the best thin crust in the area for sure! Service staff is friendly but the service is a little different than most places. overall I will definitely go back

    Bring a full wallet, it will be empty when you leave!! EXCELLENT THIN CRUST PIZZA!!!! The deep dish isn't as compelling...service is inpersonal, no waitress or waiter, they will electronically notify to come get your order...pay $15-$18 plus 1.25 a topping for thin crust. We were there tonight a medium cheese-pepper, onion , sausage..one craft beer tap and a vodka lemonade..$31.00...the moral is eat ,enjoy, don't order beer or liquor.

    Went there tonight to celebrate my husband birthday and what did we get disappointed - pizza was good once we finally received it. People that came in after us ate and where ready to leave when we finally got our pizza. Actually people that ordered with us - got their appetizer and their pizza before our appetizer came. Bartender brought our pizza over because he said he noticed we had waited a long time - I asked if our order was lost and he said he would check into it - well if he did - he never told us. Very disappointing tonight

    We had heard great things about this place (formerly Tomasos of Mequon). We ordered a thin crust for take out and were really disappointed. In our opinion, it was overpriced for the size we got, and the pizza was only ok. We could have gone to Papa Murphy's and paid less for a tastier pizza.

    Officially my favourite work-lunch destination in the Theinsville-Mequon area, and damn good pizza. Their lunch special is really great: $7 for your own made-to-order pizza with a choice of whole wheat or regular thin crust, or deep dish and choice of toppings. Mmm, yes please!

    Been enjoying pizza here from when it was a Tomaso's location. The place is spacious, and it pretty much always busy to some degree. They have a great beer selection with several rotating taps that they keep stocked with some great craft brew choices. But really, I come here for the thin crust. It's cracker crust, crunchy and perfect. I don't know how they do it (and I'd really like to know). The pizza has not changed a bit with the changeover from Tomaso's to Mequon Pizza Co. Our usual is pepperoni, onions, bell pepper, black olives and banana peppers - best combo ever and they do not mess around with toppings - your pizza will be chock full of goodness. Yum. Yes you have to order at the bar, but the laid back vibe here is part of it's charm. It's a regular spot for us.

    Excellent experience in every way. Great atmosphere to spend an evening in. Flexible seating and ordering, good specials and fair prices, clean and updated facility, comprehensive craft beer menu, and great pizza makes this place great. But, this place is made special by its staff. The owner served customers with the rest of the staff, spending time to converse and joke around with every party. Even after she left for the night, she took the time to call back to make sure that a request of ours was fulfilled before we left. Not even one aspect of the night could be called anything less than excellent. Will continue to go back as much as possible! This is a must in the Mequon area.

    Pizza was good, but the serve-yourself and somewhat pricey menu has a less than 5 rating. We had a large pepperoni pizza and a pitcher of Sprecher root beer. Best part of pizza - crispy pepperoni. The service was a bit slow. Took awhile to get our pizza. And the fact that you have to wait your own table is a bit frustrating, with 2 kids to manage while ordering. Will try again; though we'll sit at the bar

    I am from out of town and came here with some friends from the area and was very impressed. Very clean, comfortable environment, friendly staff. Sat at the bar where we could watch one of the three tvs they have. We had the cheese filled pretzel sticks, Gouda Mac and cheese bites (melted in your mouth), and the Terminator pizza. Good selection of food and adequate beer menu. Had Spotted Cow (can never go wrong with that). The X-Factor tonight was the staff. The 2 women at the bar who served us were amazing. Attentive and personable and enjoyed taking care of us.

    What's everyone's beef with the ordering system? Not that big of a deal, I say. You order at the bar. The employees are very friendly and the restaurant is very nice... I was feelin warm vibes on a crisp autumn night. Most importantly, the pizza was GREAT. Sundred tomatoes... why hasn't anyone else put them on pizza before? Fricken' geniuses. We put together a superpie of feta, sundried toms, and artichokes. Love those 'chokes. Extra sauce, obvi. Delicious thin crust. Some fellow yelpers noted the deep dish was deep-delish... so I'll be going deep-dish-divin' next time. One negative note: the "Inferno" wings are not hot at all. They're just fried/breaded chicken wings. If you use the word "inferno" I feel like there is a definite minimum level of heat that is expected... and these fell way short. They also didn't taste very good in general - definitely disappointing. Avoid those, stick to the pizza.

    This place is pretty cool. Go here to schmooze with the owners, drink a good beer, and eat a decent pizza. I appreciate a solid thin crust pizza. I mean, I'm from Milwaukee, eyy? My boyfriend and I love to sit at the bar and play cribbage. There are big screens all around the rectangular-shaped bar, so there is plenty of people watching you can do while sitting and enjoying your beer. The rest of the place has nice booths and table. Why sit down though? You have to go to the bar to order everything anyways. The pizza is no zaffiros (east side) and no balistreris, but it's like I described before: solid. Go here for a nice ambiance, a chill saturday night with the family, or to enjoy a taste of suburbia.

    Really a fan of the thin crust here yet everyone loves the deep dish here. I really like what Nick and the new owners did with the place. I love the high ceilings and open atmosphere. The first time you go here you will have to grab a seat and go up to the bar to order your drinks and food them there since they don't have a wait staff yet they do have runners that will bring the pizza to your table when it is ready. The same goes for paying so don't think that they forgot about you - you just have to go up to them. They have a great beer selection in the Freistadt/Thiensville area that rivals many other bars. Nick loves to get in all kinds of great limited taps and get funky on some bottled beer too. They have large TVs if you want to sit at the bar and watch some of the games. I wish they were open on Sunday a little early to get pizzas for the noon football games... With that said, I was informed last time that you can ordered Par Baked pizzas from them on Saturday and then you just finish baking it on Sunday for the game and they taste just as a good. I still have to try this out. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area for pizza or great beer.

    Love the place in Cedarburg so made a visit here in Mequon. Outside says new name but same family. Pizza crust was crispy and sauce okay. Price good. Place is kind of cute. Service is not really service. Guess the two servers couldn't handle the it all. You order at bar and they bring food. Iced tea was from the "faucet" at the bar. Had no flavor at all and they don't offer refills. It took us almost an hour for meal and had to request our tab so we could leave for another appointment. I would go again and try their italian food.

    I like the location of the restaurant in that it's off-the-beaten-path, but in a nice area. There was plenty of parking and the building was clean, appeared newly renovated, and offered outdoor dining. My family ordered an extra large thin crust pizza (pepperoni, onions, green and red peppers, black olives) and it was very good. I personally am not a fan of pizzas that are drowning in cheese with hardly any toppings, so I was happy when our pizza arrived and it had "just enough cheese" and a decent amount of the toppings we paid $2 each for. Some things that I think could improve before I'd give the restaurant more stars... Make it obvious that one has to order at the bar. It wasn't until my family and I started wondering why we hadn't seen a waitress in 20+ minutes that we guessed that we had to order at the bar. While I don't have a problem with order from the bar, I don't think a new customer should have to figure-out how a restaurant works, it should be obvious. I find it odd that a place with the name "Pizza Co." in the name doesn't have any specialty pizzas on the menu. I personally am a horrible cook and am quite capable of ordering a custom made pizza that tastes horribly... I'd much rather pick from a list of pizzas that are already proven to be good (and perhaps have a lower price than adding individual toppings). For example, Uno's has a pizza called "The Farmers Market" that is something I'd never create on my own but is one of my favorite all time pizzas. Don't make me think, just let me eat! :-) Although this is a minor complaint, the building was very cold inside... too cold in my opinion. My wife and mother had to put jackets on and even though I like cooler temperatures, I was a bit cold myself. My wife finally opened a window to let some warm air in because she was so cold and when she did, it made my pizza taste like it just came out of the refrigerator! (I'm not sure if you can "taste cold", but you get my drift.) If I'm ever in the area again and have the hankerin' for pizza, I'd certainly visit the Mequon Pizza Company again. With just a few small tweaks, I could see this place making it onto my "preferred pizza joint" list.

    The homemade chips are good. Cheese curds are good. The walk up to the bar to order and get refills does this place a terrible injustice. Instead of relaxing with your family, you have to elbow battle with people to get attention so you can get refills despite the restaurant being a sit down kind of place. It's relatively annoying and service is slow. They just seem understaffed. On the brightside the bartenders were all very polite and friendly. The pizza tasted just like Tomasos, as expected, but without the douchebaggery that is Tomasos customer service.

    I'm a sauce fanatic! There's nothing better than a pizza that is founded on a homemade tangy sauce that spars with my tonsils. Big fan of the deep dish pizza made from a cracker crust. Food is mediocre, though. I go for the pizza not the food. Staff is very friendly and based on a family business concept-- which is good because you're not patronizing a franchise. You order your food at the bar, get a pager, and retrieve your food at the bar when it's ready. Great bar with multiple televisions to take in your favorite ballgame. Will always be a fan!

    Ate here yesterday, the pizza and ordering system is very reminiscent of Tomaso's. I frequent Tomaso's in Cedarburg often and had Mequon pizza company at a chinooks game over the summer. While there the wifi came up as Tomaso's, what's the deal? Is Mequon pizza company and Tomaso's like a Hardee's/Carls Jr. type deal, same menu, but two different names?

    Great place for family dinner. The deep dish pizza is tasty and at the same time not greasy. They usually have a decent line up of beers on tap and a good selection of other wines and spirits.

    Awesome food. The owner is really nice and the bartenders were great. I feel like they have a really good business and really good food and I would recommend this place to anyone. The only bad part of this place is you have to find it in the middle of nowhere.

    Excellent tasting pizza with a huge qualifier. Sloppy and slow customer service leaving overall customer experience below acceptable. Suggestion: ask customers if it is there first time at your establishment and help them understand your process which is to order everything at the bar! We learned this the hard way as we sat at our table waiting for a server. Once we did order , service was lethargic. Pizza qualifier: it is sauce and not cheese - topped pizza and the sauce has a strong spicy flavor. They will make it in a more traditional fashion, but they do not let you know that upfront. That aside I loved the pizza myself, but most in our party did not.
