To taste Cold Stone is to taste happy-happy, joy- joy. A land of greatness, unicorns and rainbows. It seriously takes you to a place of wonderfulness the moment you take that first bite/lick/spoonful. I am totally in love with this place. In terms of ice cream, I cannot think of another place that is better than Cold Stone Creamery. Their ice cream is thick which makes it last longer. My favorite by far is the Birthday Cake Remix. Damn, is that bad boy good. It totally taste like vanilla cake and I am partial to chocolate! Beware, portions are gigantic! My boyfriend and I always share a small because you get so much. The first time, I stopped in, I made the mistake of getting a medium after eating a large dinner and could only take 6 spoonfuls. What a travesty! But yes, treat yourself to some Cold Stones ASAP. It is DEEEEE-Lish!!!

The ice cream was good, but when you get the signature blend it gets really soft. I personally like solid ice cream, not the super soft ones that if you don't lick it will drip over the cup. I got a small cheesecake fantasy, and the size was huge. People there are also rude, so don't pay tips.

THIS PLACES GIVES YOU A LOT. And when it comes to Cold Stone, I want A LOT. As in, fill this cup with deliciousness till it's teeming over the edges and beggin to be eaten. Wondrous flavors this location often has? - mocha, pumpkin, marshmallow, and my personal favorite that was recommended to me by a super awesome employee: cake batter ice cream with cinnamon swirled in. Yes. It is glorious.

Due to it was a Pi day, I was trying one of the signature ice cream called "Pie who loves me ". So far It was the best flavor I have ever tried in the cold stone . However, my ice cream was not perfect bcoz the girl who made the ice cream for me was too lazy to make it frozen enough even there was no any customer next to me. My ice cream started melt since she put it into a bowl and handed it in to me. I would say it's not a nice serve. Maybe next time I would find the nice way to tell the ice cream maker to make it perfect. I just wanba have my lovely day with my nice ice cream.

Over-rated California shopping-mall crap. The ice cream is flavorless and full of ice-crystals, a lot like ice milk (which is a culinary crime from the 70s for those who don't remember it). The toppings never warm up enough to melt. Who would put gummi bears in ice cream ,seriously? The last time I ate here, I got the Heath bar bits, and they tasted waxy. The overall effect is like eating frozen floor wax filled with bits of tile. This is the kind of place people go because they're from out of town and don't know where to go, so they head for the national chain they recognize. Kind of like going to a Subway, when ANY other option would be better. Trust me, if you're on mid-State St. looking for ice cream and you're standing in front of Cold Stone, just turn around and walk across the street to the Chocolate Shoppe. You will NEVER go back.

Totally forgot about Cold Stone Creamery since the whole frozen self-served craze has happen. But now they have frozen too. They do have their Sinless Sweet Cream , but I have never liked it because of its icy consistency. I sampled french vanilla & salted caramel. They are sweetened with splenda and have a creamy almost gummy texture. Slightly odd, but enjoyed it. The salted caramel didn't have a hint of saltiness. The friendly/helpful employee said they were still tweaking it. Both tasted the same to me. Just different in color. I ended up getting the French Vanilla with strawberries and blueberries. The fruit was somewhat frozen which added a nice contrast. For your own creation you get one free add in. Then additional cost more. Can also mix flavors. For the Gotta Have it size (largest) is was about 4.60 with additional cost of one extra add in. They also have sorbet, waffle dishes, shakes, smoothies, ice cream sandwiches, cakes and cupcakes. I'll give them some time to work on their frozen yogurt before I return.
