Don't see why people are voting Chipotle down, unless they don't like the food itself. Chipotle food is very standardized, and having eaten at a lot of them around the country, I see very little variation among them. Differences in quality instead are due to things like the speed of the line. I've never had problems getting in and out within a few minutes here, even during typical "peak" times.

I love Chipotle. Eat their all the time. However this specific one is always unorganized, out of items, and typically the staff just doesn't listen.

Management at this location needs some work. I have been to this location multiple times now as I love Chipotle, but this location is not run well.

Oh, Chipotle. I want to really like you, maybe even love you, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Your rice is mushy, your seasonings are bland, and your meat, while plentiful, is watery. Your line cooks stare blankly at me and don't even ask me what I'd like to order. They seem to be tuned into some other-worldly radio program that only they can hear. I know that your commitment to ethical food production practices and fair treatment for food workers is so admirable and correct, and I love that about you. You even have unsweetened ice tea, and writings by my favorite author Toni Morrison on your drink cups. But Qdoba still has my heart. It just...tastes better. We can still hang out if no one else is available, k? :-)

I've been to many Chipotles and this one skews more to the average. I prefer the one on State Street, closer to downtown. This University Ave Chipotle is a bit more cramped, though I usually see it not very full. This spot has a fair amount of bar-style seating, and has one of those large wooden cabinets with the banked speakers. Its location is not the easiest to access unless you're headed west on University, especially during rush hour. This location has run out of sofritas on me before, but when this happened at the other location, they gave out free lunch vouchers. I've seen this location out them out of other items for other customers when I've returned since. Anyway, look, I wish this location the best, especially since it's closest to me, and I hope they work out the kinks soon.

By Chipotle standards: nothing to complain about. During the first 2 weeks of opening, I placed a pickup order for a burritos, and they charged for guac on a veggie burrito (happens so frequently at Qdoba/Chipotle). I called later to inform them of the mistake and they made me a new burrito of my choosing at a later date. I was impressed by how they kept up with the crowds on their $3 Halloween burrito date--no mean feat given that the line was out the door. I wish there was wifi and the decor of the interior was a little more lively, but overall, I'm happy with this location.

I've been going here on an every other week basis for my work lunches, and I've got to say that it's great for everything that you'd expect from Chipotle's higher-end style and quality of fast food. The burritos are stuffed nicely and the staff was great to me. The only downside is that it gets really busy if you go during usual lunch and dinner peak times, so I end up not always having enough time to eat during the time allotted for my lunch. I can't always blame the restaurant for that though. In the end, if you're looking for some burritos or tacos quickly and made with good quality, this Chipotle should suit your needs.

This location has come a long way! The service used to be really bad. In fact I'd say that a lot of the employees used to be very rude and made my visits uncomfortable. However I've noticed that slowly a lot of those employees are no longer working there. Within the past month I've been promptly greeted when I enter the restaurant and each employee along the line has been very courteous to me. This location gets extremely busy. I have walked in a number of times to find the line out the front door. However as someone else mentioned, they do a great job getting people through the line as quickly as possible. They've always done a good job getting people through, but before it seemed like the pressure was too much for some employees. Apparently their is a new manager and things seem to be improving now. It is one my favorite Chipotle locations at this time.

I'm done with this location. The place was almost empty, I was the Only person in line and the guy behind the counter, while nice, was rushing so fast he forgot the beans on both of the bowls (didn't realize this until out the door). Fajita veggies were out, so when I asked for them, the guy yells to 2 people who were ignoring him. OK, nevermind then. At the end of the counter, the guy yells again, "CASH!" to the 2 people who were ignoring him, and I stood there waiting to check out. At that point I should have walked out the door without the food. Finally someone emerges from the back and asks me to repeat, again, what I ordered. The bowls were half full. Service was absolutely awful. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Chipotle. And all of this for almost $20. You have been warned - hope you go on a better day than this!

The chicken was cold but ready quickly. No changing tables in EITHER bathroom, disappointing. Just go to Old Sauk.

This Chipotle tastes like any other Chipotle - delicious. I have been going semi-regularly since they opened. The staff has always been very friendly, even during very busy times. They definitely work hard to get people served quickly and that's much appreciated by me.

Chipotle food is always good, and consistent, but the service at this location is consistently worse than at the Old Sauk location. The team dynamic has seemed dysfunctional the last few times and communication about simple things, like "we need more brown rice now", is broken. I wouldn't write a review for one bad experience, but I'm up to three now here. I'm not looking for a dining experience when I stop for a quick bowl, but at least create a vibe that doesn't make me want to drive to Old Sauk for the same food.

I don't like chain restaurants, they lack personality and it isn't as good as if the owner was nearby, ensuring each item is served with a little slice of love. With that said, this place just opened near me and it is pretty ok. I won't be going daily for lunch, however it is open till 10pm and if I am late getting home or need dinner quick and on the fairly cheap this is a good choice.

I love all Chipotles and this location is no exception. Best fast casual out there. No surprises here, you will receive the same burrito, bowl or tacos you love and expect. Seating options are fewer at this location compared to downtown and the East side, but I have never encountered a problem.

This Chipotle was amazing until this week. I have been twice this week and it has been unorganized and chaotic. Earlier in the week they were out of chicken and today the grill wasn't working. The guac has also changed and now tastes and looks store bought. Please get it back on track!

We refer to this as the "bad Chipotle" and go out of our way to visit the one on Old Sauk instead. I thought Chipotles were supposed to be standard but the preparation if the food here is sub par.

Usually you can't go wrong at any chipotle, and the first couple of times were pretty standard. The last time I went, my wife and I realized the chicken was pink, undercooked. We showed them and they didn't even offer us a free dish, a refund, and didn't tell anyone else that some if the chicken was undercooked. They didn't even apologize and walked away from us just to remove the current bin of chicken. Got to give them 1 star just for that.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
