I came here with my girlfriend and a mutual friend of ours around lunch time and I have to say that my buddy and I were mostly unimpressed. My girlfriend seemed to like it, but quite frankly I think she is just happy to have something that isn't the mediocre thin crust most places in town are pumping out. Anyways, on to the dirty details: The pizza looked like it had been sitting out for awhile and looked pretty dry and unappetizing. I figured I'd still give 'em a shot as we were hungry and looking for something quick. One of the girls at the counter took our order and the other checked us out. The girl who checked us out couldn't be bothered to feign a smile and hardly looked up from the register. Oh well, no big deal, we sat down and waited for our food. The cashier girl eventually brought my girlfriend's slice out along with mine and at the rate she was moving I wanted to tell her to just stay there and I'll come to her, but alas she dropped off our slices. Since my buddy's slice hadn't come out and the pizza was hot we waited a bit, but he eventually insisted on us going ahead. I started with the garlic knot which hardly tasted of anything but oily bread. Then the pizza, it still looked like it had been sitting out for awhile, all their preparation did to it was add a new sheen of grease. The flavor was pretty underwhelming so I just gave up and covered it in oregano, pepper flakes, and Parmesan. Finally, as I was finishing up my friend's slice came despite being ordered at nearly the same time and him having the same slice as my gf's. Don't know why it took so long, but hey, at least he could finally eat. He mirrored my thoughts and stated "Not too impressive, I would come again if someone else really wanted me to come with them, but I wouldn't go out of my way". Honestly, they may be better if you ordered a while pizza fresh, but I haven't really felt the urge to give it a shot since my first encounter.

I was pretty disappointed in this place. Didn't feel like going out to get food so decided to try Slice of NY since they delivered and were located near my home. First issue, you couldn't order a dinner entrée..at 8:45pm..when they are open late on weekends. ok so I guess that was fine, still was able to order a pizza and CHEESY breadsticks. The breadsticks that were delivered to me were NOT cheesy breadsticks although I was charged as such. They were just regular breadsticks, how hard is that? Also the pizza I tried was terrible. Tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Ended up throwing it away as the rest of my family refused to eat it as well. The delivery took well over an hour. So what I wanted to be a delicious and convenient experience was far from. I know people who enjoy their pizza by the slice but I will never go back here.

This place is still open? Horrible pizza, had it twice and both time my stomach was messed up the rest of the day. Bad food, bad service.

*Forgot to give garlic rolls with my order. *slice of pizza was cold. Put in over for like 1minute *They don't give cups of water *$5 minimum *Girl working (manager) is sooooo rude to staff & customers. Rolling eyes...very short & unfriendly. I've been here multiple times and each visit she seems more disgruntled. * this place has potential but get rid of the bad vibes

This place is OK, but manage your expectations. It is better than little Caesar's except that little Caesar's is hot all of the time. I like Villa D'Carlo and Infusino's but everyone is different.

I am only giving this one star because I have to give it something. I went there tonight and spent $14.00 on 4 slices of pizza. I admit that the pizza is decent, however the owner is extremely rude.We spend a significant amount of $$ there and due to my husband's work schedule, we typically go in pretty late. We have let it slide quite a few times, but tonight I feel compelled to comment on my experience. We are very good customers. We live 1 block away. My husband and I came in, ordered our pizza (2 slices each) and sat at a table to enjoy. 10 minutes later we were told by the owner that we "had to get out" because he had " been here since 7 a.m.". He wasn't even nice about it. I was shocked because I only had enough time to eat 1 slice of my pizza by this time. The waitress was so sweet and apologized prophetically. It truly wasn't her fault. Unfortunately, this place has lost our business forever and I will tell EVERYONE that I meet about their horrible customer service and their extremely rude owner. Shame on you Slice of NY Pizza!

I worked here. The owner doesnt pay you, the pizza sits out ALL day, the owner is always smoking in the kitchen, and everyone here is verbally abusive.

Pizza was good...but...ordered a pizza and garlic knots and a 2 liter of Coke and only got the pizza :( ..delivery girl claimed she got a speeding ticket and somehow that is why she didnt have the full order.

NO STARS!!! The inly reason I gave one is because the app required it. My daughter worked here. The owner doesn't pay his employees. The place is ridiculously dirty and infested with mice!!! They wanted my daughter to kill them the the same utensils they use to prepare the food!!

The pizza is decent, but TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The girl working at the counter was so rude. I probably saw her roll her eyes four times within the span of 10 minutes (not at me but at the people working in the kitchen). She barely spoke a word to me and seemed annoyed that I was even there and seemed even more annoyed to take my order. (I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and a bottle of water.) It's also annoying that there is a $5 minimum to use a credit card (which is even more annoying when you only want a slice of pizza - the entire reason I went there and a slice of pizza is less than $5). I can get over the credit card minimum, but the girl at the front counter was so rude and SO UNFRIENDLY that it compelled me to want to write this review.

Ordered an 18" cheese around 4pm the other day - great price, only $13.00. The person who took my order was rude. She said the pizza would be there in an hour - it took about an hour and a half. On top of that, the pizza wasn't even hot - actually, it wasn't even warm. And on top of that, the delivery driver was also not very friendly. I don't think I'll be going back here again unless they improve their customer service. And if I ever get another cold pizza, I'm not sure if I'll ever come back. What a shame, because usually their pizza is really delicious.

Normally I enjoy coming here. The pizza is pretty good, I love how big the slice is, bit my last visit wasn't so great. We stopped in a little late, probably a little after 12 am. I ordered 2 slices, one for mw, and one I wanted to bring home to my fiance. I asked the girls behind the counter if I could pay now and grab it on my way out, they responded by saying "of course!" We ate our pizza, talked and had a good time. By closing time the manager or owner had come out and was telling ppl it was time to leave. I went up to grab my 2nd slice and the girl gave me instructions on the best way to heat it up at home. After walking out the manager or owner had a different girl chase me down and told me I needed to pay for my pizza. I let the girl know that I had already paid for it when I purchased the slice I ate. She said okay and walked back inside and told the man who seemed very upset. I thought that was so rude. His own employee handed me the pizza and told me how to heat it up! Why wouldn't he just ask her if I paid for it?!

The pizza was decent first time I have tried it. I wanted to use a coupon off of their website when I had mentioned the coupon they told me they did not take coupons after 10pm. There is free delivery which is why I have given it three stars. The girl that had taken my order I thought was rather rude. She did not mention the type of payment I could use while ordering delivery and did not even say hello when answering the phone. If you are looking for a place open late I would pick here but do not except to receive nice service from their staff.

Ok having grown up out east and having lived in Kenosha for the last 15 years, this is a decent pizza place. No place else in town comes close to real pizza. True ny style cut IN A PIE STYLE. The hole point to the crust and pie cut is not to get your hands covered in grease. Here in Kenosha they cut it in squares and use dough that tastes like paste. Can't say anything about service after lunch time. However, always courteous at lunch. Try the grandma's za. My personnel favorite. So if you want east coast style and a true thin crust. This is as close as you are going to get short of going to queens.

Just ordered from there and have to admit I've yet to pick up the pizza hence why the review is 3 stars. But that was the worst customer service ever. After arguing with him that my coupon did in fact exist, I had to then remind him to take my name for the order as well as ask for a pickup time before he abruptly hung up on me. I sure hope the pizza is good otherwise 3 stars is way over rated!

Tried a couple of slices. Thin crust but not crisp. Sort of soggy. Crust lacked flavor, like it needed additional rise time. Choice of toppings were good. Maybe just needs some time to work out the kinks.

New place in town. I saw a coupon for 1 18 inch three topping pizza for 9.99 so I thought what a deal. I know it's a new place but I'm going to tell you my observations of my expirence. I phoned in my order and I still had to wait 15 min longer than the ready time which is ok becaus it took 10 min to get to a person to say I phoned in an order. The people in front of me about 8 or so took for ever to get thru the order process. The pizza it self was ok but the toppings were like take in bake flavor. The pepperoni was bland and the sasuage was bland and sliced off a roll like the pepperoni which was weird. The mushrooms and cheese were good and tasted real. Fake sasuage was a first first from a restraunt and it seemed like something from a cheap frozen pizza. The crust was soggy like it might be frozen to start, no crisp really. Ok let's get to review. It's above frozen store pizza, it's above little Cesar's take in bake but it doesn't top some of better pizza places in town. Tenutas fresh sasuage and mushroom take in bake from the deli on 52nd st is tastier. Dino's sasuage and mushroom frozen from woodmans is tastier because the sasuage tast like sasuage. You can get a slice with a good variety so I would go back for the slice. The white spinach slice with fetta sound good. I'm not going to comment on the sauce because that is a personal taste to everyone and we all have our own idea of what is good. I would give it 2.5 stars because I have had bar pizza that tasted better. Go check it out and write a review. I lived in Chicago most of my life and there is a lot of good pizza so I'm spoiled a bit. I can't speak on the rest of the menu so give them a try.

As always truly the best. The girls behind the counter are never a disappointment and even the owner making the pizza there to greet and chat with is always a treat ... along with the pizza. =) Viewing this and seeing 2 stars and so very sad as it is a location I take each and every family and friend when they come to town.

OK everyone...if there is one thing I can't tolerate, it's an owner of a restaurant that tells its customers "if you think we take too long to deliver your pizza, don't order" WHAT??!! We "WERE" regular customers despite the fact that on average, it takes 1.5hrs to deliver our pizzas. Tonight broke the camels back! Who was responsible? The owner, of all people. This guy doesn't have an ounce of professionalism or a clue what customer service is. I explained politely that the average delivery time is 1.5 hrs and we were concerned it would happen again and he's says " I don't think so, I should know...I'm the owner". What a Dickle! As if we have time or the energy to fabricate this crap! And if you're reading this "slice of NY", you probably think i don't know what it's like to run a restaurant. Well In fact, I ran a pizza shop and I can tell you that we would never tell a customer not to order if he/she felt the service was lacking. My wife and I have been very patient over the past year with all the late deliveries and cold pizza. Don't bother giving business to this shop!! People like this do not deserve our hard earned money. They need us more than we need them...cause let's face it, pizza shops are a dime a dozen! YES, I'M PISSED OFF we gave this Jackhole over $240 of business last year!
