I had the "Lube burger". This was a 1/2 pound burger cooked exactly as I ordered it. It came with tomato, cheese, lettuce, sautéed mushrooms, onions, and your choice of their famous sauces. I was in the mood for a little kick, so I ordered it with the super charged sauce. This was one of the best burgers I've eaten. Juicy and seasoned perfectly. From now on my dining experience here will forever include the difficult but mouthwatering decision of burger, or wings.

We've been coming here since January and have yet to be disappointed. The food is always good and service is exceptional. The wings sauces are superior to b-dubs and it's never deafeningly loud.

It was pretty busy when we came in (7:30 ish) because of march madness but thankfully didn't have to wait for a table. Took awhile for our server to acknowledge us though and take our order. I ordered the boneless hot wings salad with blue cheese dressing and my fiancé ordered wings. He forgot both of our dressings. The food tastes really good however I wish the salad would have came with like green leaf lettuce instead of iceberg. By the time we finished eating it wasn't very busy but we had to wait what seemed like forever for the bill. And he forgot twice to bring us a box for my friends leftovers. Not happy with the service.

I really liked this place. It shocks me that they have been given such low ratings. Anyway... The decor is interesting as the theme is pretty much anything automotive. They have cars coming out of the wall, dirt bikes hanging from the ceiling, and neon garage signs scattered though out the place. Now, I know that doesnt sound appealing to everyone, but they managed to make it look awesome. I hate theme bars/restaurants because I dont think they make much sense from a business perspective, however I really enjoyed how they had everything set up. The food was pretty good. I had the wings and they were huge. The sauce on the other hand, could have used a little more kick. I got the "hot" and it tasted more like a medium sauce. Also, they have a drive through which I that was unique for a sit down restaurant. I liked it here and I will be back.

This place is pretty cool. Awesome decorations around the bar including several bad ass motorcycles. Bartender was friendly and tried to learn all the patrons by name. Good guy. The wings are by far, the best item on the menu. The are much larger and tastier than those found at BWW. With all the sauce and rub choices, there is bound to be be one or two that anyone would enjoy. I will be back.

If you're considering this place, DON'T DO IT! Disgusting doesn't quite begin to describe this dining experience. The food was mediocre, but the server? Just plain gross. She sat 10' away from our booth at a bar table the entire time we were there, feeding her face with burgers and fries and wings the WHOLE TIME. And I don't mean quickly snatching a bite as she walked by a friend's table (that would be bad enough). Oh no...this girl planted it in a chair and hunkered down, literally shoving giant amounts of food into her mouth. Think: squirrel cheeks. And she chewed with her mouth open, no less. The only time she stopped eating was to get up and check on her tables...walking and chewing the whole way, pausing only to wipe her lips with her hands. Yes, WITH HER HANDS. Openly. In the dining room. Then, to our horror, she'd proceed to pick up drink glasses and get refills. NEVER WASHING HER HANDS. Even worse, she'd go in back and come back with food plates. Granted, she could've thoroughly washed and dried those greasy mitts in that 30 seconds, but likely? I doubt it. I have worked in restaurant management and know what a blatant health violation that is. Employees are to wash their hands after using the bathroom, EATING, and smoking. It's common sense, but also the law. I told a manager and she acknowledged how disgusting it was. No offer to comp our meals--which absolutely should've been done--but she said it was her first day there and didn't know the protocol. So I'll kind of give her a pass there. But said manager did walk by our apparently starving server several times--even knew what table she had been eating at when I started talking--so obviously she saw this all go down. As did scores of other staff. No one seemed the least bit concerned about the server's filthy, unacceptable behavior. Bottom line? Nasty. DON'T DO IT!

I've been to this restaurant over 10 times but will not go back. Customer service is poor in the food is inconsistent at best. Wings aren't always covered in the correct sauce and not completely covered. Drinks are weak and overpriced.

I guess I've never understood the appeal of this place. I don't normally think of oil changes and food going well together. Only in America could that be a hit. Motorcycle pictures on the wall! Harleys no less. Exciting to many I guess. The food is not... standard fare. Wings that can be hot and overpriced. Has no one figured out the business model here? Chicken wings are very cheap to buy. So is hot sauce. It's a successful business for reasons I will never understand. Go if you must. Enjoy the neon, admire the motorcycle pictures, eat extremely hot wings. Then calmly shoot yourself for the life you have chosen to live.

Horrible customer service, will not be back. Tried to use my line account but manager wouldn't let me run it because they bill was already paid and the bartender didn't ask me my info. Lost a customer, they use lube because they screw loyal customers

No. Just no. They did provide an accurate order based on my online ordering, but it actually would've been to their benefit to misplace my food and blame it on the interweb. Flabby, cheesy, soggy, greasy.

We took our family of fourteen out to eat for Easter for the first time ever. We choose this restaurant in Janesville because the prices for the buffet were very reasonable and the place would be child friendly. The buffet was unbelievable-ham, prime rib, spare ribs, egg omelets made to order, lots of fresh fruit, pasta salad, vegetable tray, cheeses, large shrimp, variety of rolls, and lots of desserts on a separate table. The buffet tables were nicely decorated with Easter flowers and bunnies. Juices and Coffee was included. Our waitress was amazing- her name was Michele and she was so attentive to every need. She was so helpful to the grandchildren who ranged from 13 to 4. We had plenty of room as we were in the "garage room" with TVS for the adults to enjoy. I couldn't have offered close to all the choices at home and never for the price. Check it out when you want a buffet for a special occasion. I would recommend this and come again! Thanks so much. I was pleasantly surprised.

Great tasting food but my burger was undercooked. I told the waitress and she apologized but then took forever to bring out my new burger, it just seemed to be one thing after another with this place.

Stopped here saturday for supper on our way home from lake geneva. The food was just ok not great and we thought the wing prices were a little high. The service was not bad but there wasnt that many people there so im not sure how it would be with a bigger crowd.I had a burger that was not cooked the way i ordered it.It was ok but as i said earlier the food was not that great. The wife had boneless wings and they were pretty good but not up to par with most wing joints. For starters we got their homemade chips and dipping sauce.I would not order those again. We will probably stop back again if we are in the area but i wouldnt make a special trip to go here.We have ate at the quaker by milwaukee and it seemed the food was way better there

Great food. Not too loud . A little pricy but tolerable . Some of the staff could improve , but not are ok at their job . The food comes out of the kitchen VERY VERY SLOW but I think it's worth the wait usually . I would return and do keep returning .

First, I have been eagerly awaiting the opening as I have been to the Quaker Steak in Middleton, WI and it is by far my favorite wings joint. Opening day was a few days ago and so I couldn't wait any longer. Knowing that it might be tough to get a seat in the restaurant, I chose to order online. First, let me tell you this is by far the best online ordering system I have ever used. It is easy to navigate and on top of that you can actually pay for your meal so that when you go to get your food you just pick it up at the window. The window is the second feature of the to go experience that far exceeds anything else I have ever done for a sit down restaurant. Usually you have to get out and go inside but here you just pull up and grab your food and you are off to your destination. The to go experience alone is a 5 star experience. The staff were friendly, courteous and continued to talk to me why I waited why the finishing touches were put on my order (I arrived a little early). Next, the outside of the building obviously shows it is new but the parking lot is amazing. It is one way around the building to reduce hassles and help customers and drive through guests get in and out easily. I noticed as I was leaving that there was an outdoor seating that looked great and the bar area was also opened up to enjoy the amazing weather. I can't wait to eat at the restaurant to experience it all. Lastly, the food was great. I ordered a 12 pack of boneless wings, a 4 wheeler (onion rings, mozzarella cheese sticks, pretzels and these fried pickles) and a chicken fender basket. The wings were dripping in sauce, there was no visible brown breading to be seen. The sauce I had was great, a little too mild for my liking but I went safe this time but the next time I will ratchet it up a notch. The chicken tenders were good and the fries were great. The 4 wheeler was awesome and a great sampler to share with others. On 8/30/13 my family and I returned to Quaker to dine in. This was a great experience and will not change my rating of 5 stars. Our waitress was great and the service was good. Upon walking in the door we were greeted and seated. My kids were excited to see all the motorcycles around the restaurant. The food this time was great again and I highly recommend the ribs and wings. The ribs fell off the bone and had a great rub on them and with the addition of a sauce made them even better. The wings again had a thick coating of sauce. Overall, this is the best wings I have had in Janesville and by far the best to go experience I have ever had. In my mind this is a 5 star joint and I know this will be the place to go for me when I want wings.

In summary: 1. First time visit to QS&L 2. Order taker at drive thru not familiar with menu 3. Total time from order place to receiving; 20 minutes - 13 minutes of which was waiting after paying 4. "grilled boneless wings" need to renamed as the product received was nothing more than a chopped up grilled chicken breast swimming in a yellowish sauce, served lukewarm at best 5. the side salad and pita bread did not help justify the cost of the "wings" 6. the onion rings were well done, but at least hot and crunchy, would have preferred a choice of dipping sauce besides the side cup of tangy barbecue sauce Skip the drive-thru and from waht is apparent from other reviews, the food as well.

The menu was confusing. But asked the waitress what is good and I ended up with boneless chicken wings with Asian sauce. It was ok. After I ate broccoli, pretzels and pita chips I was full. My hubby had lube chicken. He said it was ok. Our friends enjoyed their chicken salad and wings. So overall it was fine. I was more irritated we got seated by kids who were really loud. Overall, I walked out of there with a smiling face, it was fun but not sure if I'd return. Oh and they have call ahead RSVP.

Very good, clean and well themed bar/restaurant! Wings were above average and the staff were very nice. I felt compelled to review this place because I almost passed on it based on the average and it seems unfair.

This place is awesome. Motorcycles on the walls, so many food choices. Try the shrimp. I loved it. Shrimp tacos. Will def go back. Wish they had these Quaker lubes in Chicago. Service was weird. Server didn't know what bitters were and then said they don't have "that". I asked the bartender and she had it there. Prob looked like a young newbie learnin though.

I Believe this place would be better if I came here for a drink more than anything, as my drinking age approved Friends say... I have been there 10 plus times and each time the service has been very bad... We can never find our waitress/waiter and when we do its always hard to flag her down for a refill or a question or request. I did have this one waiter who was very excellent tho so if you get him you'll have a good time... Also, most of the time after my meals I spend a good time in the bathroom, if you catch what I'm saying. This place won't ever be my first choice to go to eat unless I'm invited.

The food was excellent and the service. The mac burger was very good. The only complaint is that we had looked up on yelp today it said it was closed so we called they are open all day on Sundays.

ate there last night with my wife and son. I had the Lube Burger, which comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, sautéed mushrooms and cheese. another reviewer claims it also comes with your choice of their sauces, the menu says it comes with their original Lube sauce. all I know is, I wasn't given a choice, and either mine had no sauce at all, or their original sauce has absolutely no flavor. I didn't dissect the burger to look for sauce, but I sure didn't taste any. other than that, the burger was pretty good, easily as good as burgers from Red Robin. it was also supposed to come with bleu cheese dressing on the side, but that was missing as well. my wife ordered the 8oz Thunderbird steak, medium. it arrived very well done, as dry as the plate it was served on. and also missing from the steak was something very important: flavor. my son ordered the double stack burger with bacon. totally over-cooked, dry as the Sahara desert. we wanted to bring this to the attention of our waitress, but after she dropped off our "food" we never saw her again. not once. no refills on my empty glass, no "how is everything?" nothing. like the sauce on my burger, the bleu cheese dressing on the side and the flavor in the steak, she was nowhere to be found. luckily for us, the people at the table next to us had complaints as well and called a manager over. I nicely (seriously, I was nice about it!) told the manager our issues and he apologized and said the entire meal was free. ok, handled well enough, even more than I expected. however, his excuse was a little pathetic. he said "we have never been open in the spring yet, and we're still getting used to it." wtf? I think this location has been open for close to 9 months now! I mean, seriously, how long does a restaurant need to be open to know enough that "medium" doesn't mean "cook it till it's black?" to know that everything listed on the menu better be included on the plate? to know that a waitress should check back with her customers at least once during their meal? and what does the fact that it is spring have to do with anything?

I wouldn't recommend this location. The good is NOT as good as other locations I've eaten at. VERY disappointing......And the staff act like you're bothering them. I would drive right in by........Go to Red Robin instead.

I ate here today with my friend around 3:00pm. The restaurant looked nice and clean and we were seated right away. Our server, Michelle, was excellent and very personable. I ordered a burger and paid the extra 99 cents to "load up" my fries with bacon and cheese. Everything was good but I can't say it was the best burger I've had (Although it was better than the burgers at BWW). If I could have changed anything it would have been the temperature of my fries. They were still good, but they tasted like they had been sitting in the window for a while. I will return again though since it was a positive experience.

My husband and I are from out of town. We decided to give this place a try. We were really pleased. The wait for a table was about 20 min. But we went and had a drink at the bar . The bartenders were busy but very friendly and speedy. When we got our table we both had the sirloin steak. They were done to perfection. The prices are reasonable and all waitstaff were friendly and courteous. We were very happy with our choice to come here. Would gladly come again if in the area.

Since I travel to and from janesville for work, one of the managers decided to check out this place. THe decor is okay if you are a guy. Well the entire place is geared towards men. i was not impressed with the menu nor the staff. The staff seemed too busy texting or talking among themselves to acknowledge that we even came in. The food is just okay. I do not see anything special about it. I do have to say that I would not go back when I am in Janesville for work. I did not care for the food or the staff.

We have been here several times now since we moved to the area and have been impressed every time. The food is always excellent and the service as well. I would have to say they have the best wings I have ever had and prices are very reasonable. Their loyalty club also has some of the best perks of any I have ever heard of. All things considered an easy 5 stars for me.

came here with the faily and first thought was okay it is probably going to be a lot like Buffalo Wild Wings or Wingstop. Yeah pretty much...... they had some food options besides wings, but let's be real here.... I got the 12 wing combo which was 2 different sauces, some carrots and celery. I asked for no celery, extra carrots, and I got a grand total of.....6 carrots. And these are baby carrots not normal sized carrot sticks. But whatever, I came here for the wings. The bbq was decent, and the asian spice was just okay. Had some alcoholic beverage that was purple but can't remember the name of it though it came with your own take home cup woohoo lol. It was pretty good, kinda like sangria, but kind of not. Couldn't finish it though..... Between food and drink it was about $20 or so.

Oh my lord, it took forever for the food! An hour and a half for the food to come out! We only ordered a cheeseburger, a chicken wrap, a blt, and a kids pizza. And the food was just ok! RIDICULOUS! Won't be coming here again!

This is the typical chain restaurant. It a family friendly place, fashioned after an old fashion diner with a Lube & Tune theme. I ordered the revved-up ribeye steak with soup and salad. The ribeye took a very long time to come to the table, so service was slow, although in fairness it was a Saturday night. When it did arrive it was under cooked. The soup and salad were good. Very disappointed in my meal. I will not be going back.

Ok... Let's start with the Barbie Doll hostess... A slight attitude, but she's probably no more than 18, so.... $$$$$ motorcycles hanging all over the place.. couple of Corvettes, too. Zach was our server. Nice kid. I had an All American burger with provolone, medium rare...side of mac n cheese. It was very greasy... just like Culver's. Mac n cheese tasted like microwave Kraft crap. Hubby had his with cheddar & bacon , and a side of Cole slaw..meh. not bad. But not great. Manager came around, asking how everything was. .I told her.. not great. We ordered vanilla ice cream, which was not on the bill, so I guess they were making up for the mess. Good sweet tea. I'd probably give them another chance. ..

Waited over 30 mins to be sat. Once we were sat we noticed over half of the restaurant tables and chairs were open. The only thing I can really place it one was there was a black guy with white girl ahead of us and they wanted to make them wait. Needless to say by the time we were sat and noticed how many open tables there were I was angry. Soooo we left with out ordering. Use your own judgment but the place and staff remind me of a trailer park. So disappointed . We tried to contact corporate to ask about this to no luck. Calls and emails not returned.

What a challange! We were in this place for over 2 hours...... 30 minuts just to get our water at the table. We just sat their waiting for the first 15 minuts befor a server even came to the table. Then the food came warm and some cold! The place looks great, fun place so it seams. The wait staff is in our case the worst ever..... if you have nothing to do on a Sunday, and want to spend part of your day sitting, then this is the place for you! We also ordered appetizers and never got them........ thanks for the worst experance ever for lunch......dave

First of all, the staff was VERY friendly. Props to Michelle and the girl she was training. You made my family feel welcome despite our food allergies and other challenges. That being said, my burger was prepared incorrectly and was very greasy... so much so that I had bad indigestion afterwards. I didn't complain because I still enjoyed what was on the burger, but someone else probably would.

I have tried QSL twice now, both times takeout.....I have to say that the grilled boneless wings are huge...The downside the price, a large single order is close to $15. The chicken and the sauce is ok, I have tried the Thai-R cracker and the atomic. I have to say the atomic is not worth it, I love spicy, but this is pure spice with no flavor. I can't really comment about the restaurant itself, but I do love the drive through. I usually call about 15 min earlier and they usually have it ready by the time I get to the window. I will have to go back to try the burgers, since most of the reviews rave about the Lube Burger

Stopped here for Thursday night bike night. *game-ending buzzer sound* Wow...what a sad and lackluster place as we were thoroughly unimpressed by neither the bike site, food nor the staff. Wings are $0.60 each and you can get the flavors in increments of 5. Our group first stopped by the bar and ordered drinks, The bartender was nice enough. However, after we seated ourselves there was no waitstaff to be found. So we walked back to the bar, hoping to order some wings. The bartender graciously took our order, and we returned to our table. Then a waitress came over to our table and told us if we wanted to order food, we need to have the order taken by one of the waitstaff. We explained to her that no one attended to our table for 10 min. Her only reply was that they were busy and we had to be patient until one of the waitstaff comes to the table. The wings were sad little balls of grizzly mystery meat. We bit into tendon, bones, and any real texture of chicken was not found by visualization. The sauces were as unremarkable as the waitstaff. Since we didn't want to wrong the head waitress, we remained seated while we waited for our check. After 10 off waiting one of us got up and asked another staff for the bill. Our waitress brought it to us. We paid and we had to asked for wetnaps. Our waitress seemed annoyed at this common request (it's usually brought out with the check). If you're looking for a good bike night, try the QSL in Middleton instead; much bigger turnout and better, friendlier, competent staff.

Though I've only been here once, I was not impressed. Unfortunately, I got extremely sick from food poisoning (though my date did NOT, for the record). I had two flavors of wings, the Thai being quite good, but the Cajun was over spiced, and I believe the guilty party that got me sick. Aside from my illness, I thought the prices were very high, especially for the simple wings and beer I had. I would recommend Buffalo Wild Wings instead, which I've been to multiple times and have never been ill, and the prices have been more reasonable.

I'm adding a star based on my most recent visit. The food was better and the service was a bit quicker. It's still fairly obvious that they're working with a young, inexperienced staff; but they're all friendly and look like they enjoy what they do. I'm more willing than less to come back, although I may give them more time to work out kinks.
