We have tried several Asian restaurants in town, none rank very well, and few are incredibly horrible. This place is fast with a very simple menu. The egg drop soup is very good and I like the fact they don't throw a lot of things into it, to make it appear gourmet. The pork egg foo young is also good, very crispy outside while still being moist inside. It isn't on their menu, but my favorite dish is Moo Goo Gai Pan, and they will make it upon request. Note: If you are ordering lunch DO IT EARLY. They open at 11 am and by 11:30 am there is a long line, mostly walk in orders. Call your order in and walk to the front of the line for pickup is best. You can dine there, but they only have about 4 or 5 small tables, which is fine if you don't mind the line being right next to you.

Ordered online despite the fee. Figured it would help keep mistakes to a minimum. 45 minute wait from order time to pickup, but it is what it is. Arrived at the appointed time only to be told that their printer was out of ink and they just realized there was an order. Told it would be another 15 minutes. Asked if there would be an adjustment for my time and they offered three dollars on a $60.00 order. Message received, I'm no longer a customer.

Best Asian food in Janesville, so it WOULD get 4-stars. Unfortunately, they charge an "online ordering fee" of 2%. I honestly didn't think anyone did that after 2003. Let me make your job easier by ordering online and not taking the time of one or your workers by calling in - oh, and could you charge me for that please? Occasionally there's a missing piece in the order, but it's take-out and they're usually busy as all get-out, so - call it victim blaming if you want - if you don't check your order you've got it coming. (You're an adult. Check the bag before you take it. Just like a drive-thru.) The lo mein is sometimes overcooked, otherwise the food's not bad at all. The beef is solid, and a lot better than most other Janesville restaurants. Veggies are cooked well. Battered dishes are crunchy. The spring rolls would be 5-stars in any arena. G/f and I always get a few extra orders to snack on as leftovers.

The food is OK. Probably the best in Janesville.....but, it could be better. The General Tso is decent, but a little too salty. I'd give it a slightly better review if the service wasn't so terrible! Even if you call ahead, they mess up your order and make you wait.

I like this place. I have been a regular customer over the years. I usually always order the beef & Broccoli or the sweet & Sour Chicken. The fried rice is good too. I always call ahead with my order and have never gotten the wrong food or had a surprise when I got it home. I'm a fan.

Food is okay and the only reason they are getting a star. The service was horrible, the girl( probably their first job) that took my order was obviously busy and no greeting, just walked up and stared at me as if I knew she was there to take my order....annoyed apparently that another PAYING customer was there to order. Will not be back..and it wasn't the first time and they were not that busy.

This place is below average. It's not terrible by any means, just not good. I recently ordered some chicken lo mein. The dry noodles were very lightly tinted with flavor in some spots... and in others... not. I'll probably go back to punish my chubby body for not having the scruples to cook at home.

Best Chinese carry out ever! Excellent flavor. Large portions at a reasonable price! I recommend the General Taos, Kung Po Chicken, Schezwan Beef and the Lo Mein. Yummy!!

I'm being generous with the 2 stars. Really salty food. Really salty. There was barely any chicken in either the chicken and broccoli or the chicken with cashews. The egg roll had a weird lemon taste to it. If this is the best Chinese in Janesville, then don't get Chinese!

Best Chinese I have ever had!! I loved this place and would eat here at least once a week. I moved away and I have not been able to find a place that even compares.

Panda Garden must be under new management or ownership because the food and service has definately went down hill in the last few years. I must also say that the people who answer the phone are actually quite rude. The only reason I continue to go there is because it is in close proximity of my home............

Probably the best Chinese in Janesville. Not a real big dining area, most people get take out.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
