What a wonderful first day of my 3-day weekend!! Did some back roads which were superb and ended up at the Chuckwagon in Spread Eagle WI. They always had the BESTEST ever burgers. I have been bragging them up for a long time. We went for the first time today and they had the flower shaped preformed burger with black lines on it. The burger was mediocre at best. So sad....I would rather pay a bit more and have the real thing they used to serve.

I don't leave many reviews but this one deserves it! Walking up to the place it has a smell that you just know your about to get good food. It reminded me of a place back home with some of the best burgers I have ever had. That being said these were better! We got the pickles, and the trail blazer both amazing. My kiddos got a cheeseburger and the hot dog again they didn't disappoint. My burger was the whistle stop and I loved it. This place is totally worth the short drive outside of Iron Mountain. The best part? The prices are super reasonable. This place is one you shouldn't miss. I would give it more stars if possible!!!!

Great burgers, friendly staff. The Friday fish fry is also very good but can get very busy because it is so good. The perch is particularly good.

The location of this place on the yelp map is wrong same with the subway and Dina Mia's, so I wish I could write a review of yelp but anyways I love the chuck wagon!! Their hotdogs are huge!! Haha and their fries are great as well. Their also one of the only restaurants north of the Mason-Dixon Line that actually has MTN. DEW! Their food is always cooked through and delicious. Don't go on a Friday night during the summer unless you are getting take out because the place is packed and you will have at least a 15 min wait for seats and then your food wait will probably match or exceed your table wait time. On not so busy days I really recommend it! The interior design is full of mounted wild life that just captures the eye and gives very good conversation starters!

Well, first of all, I don't know how it got into the "chinese" category, but whatever. I have been reluctant to post a review on the restaurant, because I see it as my secret hideaway. But as far as the roadside bar food, this is as good as it gets. It is almost gourmet. Everything I have gotten there is just so good. From the mexican soup and tacos on Wednesdays, to the grilled salmon on Fridays. The wraps are wonderful as well. The bloody marys are some of the best I have found in the area. Next to Spiro's, this is the best restaurant in the area!

Make sure to ask and try their Flat Badgers. Also if you are coming with a family I recommend you leave by 9:00; the music gets a little PG-13 after that... Great food as well!

Burgers and beer with a popular Friday night fish fry. Great place to watch a Packer game or even da Bears. Service is good with plenty of families and not just old drunks like myself.
