Very good fish fry. Gotta get there early or you'll be waiting. It's worth the wait though. Not many seats and the old people in town get there early. You get 2 very large pieces of cod. Worth the time and money.
Good tasty burger. Decent selection of craft brews. Cheese curds were good and squeaky just like they should be. The star of the show was the prime rib sandwich ordered by another member of the party. Oh. My. Lawd. I was really wanting a tasty burger at the time and a steak sandwich just didn't sound good. Then I saw it. I was expecting some thin slices of steak on a roll with an au jus. I was NOT expecting a slab of meat twice the size of the roll served with an au jus, and this wasn't exactly a small roll. Service was a bit on the slow side. May have only been the one server on duty on Saturday mid-afternoon, because she was always moving. The beer garden was also a nice place to sit on the gorgeous day we were there.
My favorite bar in Edgerton. The Friday fish fry is the best, the fish comes out looking like a churro but it is awesome! Plus the cole slaw is to die for.

Very good food. Nice addition to Edgerton!
Agree that this is a welcome addition to town. The food is very authentic and the margaritas are great! Service is top notch and the wait staff is very friendly. I usually try the specials they have and they are always good - the standard fair of tacos, burritos, etc can't be beat either. Portion size is VERY generous! Love this place!
Pretty darn good for a Mexican restaurant in small town Wisconsin. Good service and good food. You can't go wrong with, El Molcajete, for dinner and you'll have enough to take home for a second meal. Our server, Mike, was knowledgable and had great advice about the menu. The larger margarita was, for sure, the way to go and his recommendation on the carnitas was spot on. The was Salsa is good, but like most Mexican restaurants in these parts, they cater to the Midwestern taste and make it a little bland, so ask for the hotter stuff and combine the two.

A nice family restaurant. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff.
We were drawn in by the solid reviews on Yelp. It was a good stop. It was exactly what you'd expect from a small town diner. Nice dining room FILLED on a weekday night with a smattering of locals and regulars plus us. SERVICE was FANTASTIC. The food & the prices were just as good.
Stopped here on our way back home from Madison. Good food, nice staff. Didn't expect this place to be hi tech, but the waitresses use IPads to take your order....Will come back!

I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience at Culver's. I must admit that as a Missouri native, I just didn't "get" Culver's when I moved to Wisconsin. Every Culver's I drive by always appears packed. People left and right rave about the food. I've had a few meals from the drive thru occasionally, but I never felt like Culver's was something to write home about. A friend suggested to me that Culver's fish was, in her opinion, the best fish fry she's found in Wisconsin. Sure, I'll try it. Wow ... and she was right! I dined in the restaurant (not drive thru) and ate the fried Walleye along with coleslaw, homemade tartar sauce, roll, green beans and mashed potatoes. The fish was just excellent. The roll and coleslaw were tasty, too. The tarter sauce is very unique and different than your typical tartar sauce, but I loved it. Mashed potatoes were okay, and I felt that the green beans were a little too salty for my liking. I now understand what all the hype is about. It's not just a Wisconsin fare fast-food joint that people strangely love, like I originally thought. It is a clean and inviting fast-casual restaurant with homestyle, tasty food. Yes, I would recommend it!
This place is always busier than you can imagine. Honestly, on a weekend night, you might have to walk for over a minute to get through the parking area which must be about the surface area of two football fields...and they need it! This prime location combined with surprisingly efficient service considering how the nearby MacDonald's is staffed with complete dolts. The food is a bit pricey, but delicious. By Culver's standards I give it five stars, but by overall food standards, it is very good and has good service for a chain, but its not extremely imagination in its menu, as with any franchise.
Easy access off interstate I-90/39 just north of the Rock River bridge at Newville, WI leads to the largest Culvers Restaurant in the world. If anyone hasn't tried Culvers food, they really should take time to stop. Culvers butter burgers are the best I've eaten since the mid to late 1950's. They are made fresh, so this "fast food" is not as fast as some other quick stop restaurants. While their burgers are the best ever, I can't eat them every day. Their salads keep me coming back. The menu choices are enough to satisfy any palate. This is real food. Any visitor to Wisconsin should try at least one stop at Cluvers. Even if the stop is made only to taste the Culvers custard, travelers will see why we can tolerate long cold winters and why some of us are a tad bit bigger than people from other states. This Culvers Restaurant is clean, staffed by wonderful people, convenient, and oh, so good. Culvers is the best "fast food" in the world.

Very accommodating staff. I had an offer to cash in using the mobile app and the two staffers behind the counter were happy to swap a plain coffee for a latte without an additional charge. They were friendly and thanked me for using the app, too. Also, this location was very clean and attractive, and clearly new. Kudos, DD.
Thank you, Edgerton DD, for being the closest DD to the Twin Cities! For that, you earn 4 stars. You may be 290 miles away from my home, but you're the closest thing I have to a medium cinnamon coffee with cream and splenda. In any event, I love DD, period. I hear they sell donuts there, but I pretty much only go for the coffee! Not the coolatas or mochas or lattes, either. I just like the coffee. Their low-cal breakfast flatbreads are pretty good, too. This location is a great one for MSP to CHI travelers, because it also involves a gas station / convenience store, and a Taco Johns. Who doesn't love a taco with their coffee?
This Dunkin has great service and the order was perfect! I've never had any issues at this location. The employees were very friendly, and the place was clean. I have zero complaints.

Coachman’s Golf Resort

Reviews:
My favorite time of the year is when my family and friends come up for a weekend of golf at Coachman's. Fun course, great food and friends. This place is the best! Been coming here for a LONG time and my dad for even longer. Super quick trip up from Chicago too. 5/5, no doubt. "PERFECT" - Street Fighter
First off the golf course saved the weekend. We did a total of 45 holes over two days and had a great golfing experience. This course is above par. Now the downside and why I have them a 2 star. The resort side is a little sketchy. They are stuck in the 1980's and most clientele are elderly retirement folks. This place reminds me of a roadside motel you would likely pass up. Our room was disgusting. It smells like R Kelly's sheets (piss) and the bathroom was out of the movie Saw. My wife would NEVER stayed if she came along. The AC in my friend room didn't work well either. This place has potential, but as I write this I hope there are plans to update it. If this is done we may come back.
This is a cheap truck stop motel with a golf course attached. The front desk staff seemed somewhat annoyed by our arrival, like they were overwhelmed by a party of four. The rooms look like something you'd see as a crime scene backdrop on CSI. The golf course itself is ok. Groomed well. The most challenging terrain was on the tee boxes. The course starters have no idea what they're doing, so play is often slow. This is a great place to go if being homeless is your only other option. Homeless golfers would love this place!

Nice homey feel. Small dining room, but warm and cozy with a fireplace. Or I thought there was a fireplace. You first walk into the bar area (expecting someone to yell NORM!) I had the Walleye and it was my first time. It was so nice and delicate. No over powering sauce. The Chowder was creamy and thick but you can't notice the clams in there. But it was nice and soothing. One of the Best in the Area!!
My family has been coming here for about 20 years and always enjoy our dinners and a drink or two at the bar. Its too bad a couple reviews weren't very good but don't let those keep you away. As of June 2014 their bar is running some great specials. The Old Fashiones are wonderful. Stop in and treat yourselves!
I've never had to answer so many questions to get my food brought to me. I thought there was a choice of soup or salad but no, it's soup and salad. I had the scallops, after asking if they were big (despite being told yes, they were in fact not big scallops and tasted like they came out of a freezer bag). Everyone at the table who ordered meat seemed to enjoy it so I'd recommend asking what's fresh and just going with that. The atmosphere and the service was great and what one craves when one visits a small town. Add in the fact that they have Spotted Cow on tap for an extremely reasonable $2.50 and you're getting a lot of value for what you pay.

The place is hit or miss, some night the pizza is on point and delicious, other nights you're better off making a frozen pizza. All in all its an ok place to get a pie but don't have huge expectations. Also stick to pizzas from this place the rest of the things on this menu while ok are not the best. In the long run I will continue to get food from them because it's the only pizza joint around but I wish they would go back to the quality they had 2 years ago.
I called them an hour and a half before they close to order a pizza, they told me they weren't taking any more delivery orders. That's a complete and total failure of business operation. Either get more drivers or don't deliver.
Had pizza delivered to us and it was very delicious. Only downside, it is a little pricey.

Rosati’s Pizza

Reviews:
The best part was the Chicago Style pizza.. that can only have 4 toppings :( Had to wait 20 minutes for a table even though they had about 12 empty tables in the place. Had to settle for a bottle of the ONE craft beer they carry. Our waitress Ashley was FABULOUS took our order quick and kept the beers coming.. food took another 30 minutes. Atmosphere was an interesting mix couples and large families. Lots of tvs with sports on to keep you occupied. .. fun place.. just be prepared for the wait.
Me and my wife have partaken of Rosatis three times now, the first time we ordered a thin crust pizza and although my wife liked it I was not partial to it myself, the waitress was nice and attentive though so it was pleasant experience. The second time we visited was a disaster we waited over thirty minutes for our drinks before being told the bar didn't know how to make their own house drinks, were asked to reorder and then we were given the drinks we originally ordered, we then waited another hour and 20 mins for our pizza to arrive and just as we were about to leave it showed up, and was promptly wrong on all accounts, they were very nice about it and comped us for the pizza and gave us a gift card to come back. Me and my wife ordered the same pizza we tried to get two nights later for pickup, another disaster, we ordered a large with bacon pineapple with jalapeños on one side. There was no bacon and so many jalapeños that's all I could taste. The next day me, my wife, and our guests all suffered the worst gastrointestinal problems I have had in a while, needless to say the bathroom was my best friend for the next 24 hours. This place could be good but it needs to step up its game extremely. We will not be going back, unless they change whatever they are doing int the kitchen, the front is pleasant and polite, but apparently the kitchen sucks.
I don't want to see it happen, but when the Anchor reopens across the river, this place will empty out. Pizza is just above average, but the service is far below average - both on site and delivery. It has potential, with the plethora of TVs, as a decent sports bar. However, when the staff can't get management to tune in the Brewer game because they market themselves as a replanted Chicago sports bar, they are writing-off (nearly insulting) the local customer base. The locals pay the utility bills once the summer boating season ends. And if they project their delivery service will burnish a strong reputation, both the out/of-town campground residents and local homeowners say simple pizza delivery takes an hour or more and arrives like your luggage at O'Hare - tipped upside down. Order from Red Baron in Edgerton - owners are local, deliver hot and fast, and just a short drive from Rosati's. Come July 4th if these issues remain, then bet Rosati's will be closing another one of their locations, and this former marina will once again sit vacant before July 4th 2016 arrives. Which would not be a good thing for the tourist economy.
