This place is Killer!! We went out with a group of friends on Saturday Night and it was a great experience!! Very Expensive, but worth it on those special nights. I had the Bone-in-Ribeye with Foit Gras Butter and Artichoke Risotto. The steak was expertly done and the Risotto was phenomenal!! Foit Gras Butter was on the side and offered a very rich and somewhat sweet sauce that was the star of the show. Everyone else was very happy with their dishes and we all got a small bite of each others dish. My second favorite was the Haddock Special, perfectly prepared once again and the sauce was second to none. Very small and intimate dining but we really had a good time!!

Heard about this by word of mouth and was SOOOOOO pleased! Can't wait to go again. Our new favorite place. There was 4 of us and everyone of our dishes were excellent! Scallops, Sea Bass, Tenderloin, to Stuffed Pork Loin! Wine choices super. Great story too on a couple's dream coming true! Don't miss this place if you love new places

What is this place doing out in the middle of Manitowoc County. What a gem. Pricy for Manitowoc County but excellent food. Wait staff was excellent. I had the fish of the day, Fluke. Never had it before Delicious preparation. I look forward to my next visit.

Hands down, our favorite restaurant! Don't let the location deceive you. This is a great place to eat with a fantastic, well-prepared menu. Drink choices are top shelf. Appetizers are creative and flavorful. And as far as the entrees are concerned, they are superb. I would recommend choosing from one of the nightly specials. Most recently, I had the lamb shank, and it was perfectly prepared, presented, and... to put it simply... was a taste explosion! So good!!! The service always is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

How did It take me this long to try this place? It is practically in my backyard! This could be one of the finest restaurants north of Milwaukee and it is literally in a town that is hardly on the map! Collins is somewhat known for its Marsh but it is slowly being recognized for Al Corso! To start out I was really excited to try one of their many bourbons. This was the first time I ever had "whiskey stones" which are chilled cubes of stone that cool your drink without watering it down... See picture attached. Our meals were all great. My wife and I had Sea Bass and my dad ( the birthday boy) had salmon. Each meal was excellent. For desert we shared the creme brûlée and it may have been the best I have ever had. The only drawback on the restaurant is the size. It is very small (maybe 7 or 8 small tables) and the open bar is in the same room so if there are a few people having a drink, it does get loud in the dinning area. Most, if not all customers have one drink, then sit down to their table. So this is not a big problem. Because of its size I would recommend reservations! You need to find this place! Might have to fork over a few more $ but it is worth it. At least in my case I can use the money I saved on gas for my trip to the bigger cities!

Excellent food. Attentive staff, although our server was new, she was friendly. Expensive food for this area. But a great special occasion place.

Had to write a review because I was so unexpectedly blown away by the food, drinks and service. I travel to the Green Bay area often for work and a person can only eat so much fried food and cheese curds (don't get me wrong, I love cheese curds). This meal was a treat! Smoked lamb shank was heavenly. The baked hot chocolate pudding was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Thumbs WAY up to the chef and also lovely Louise for making us killer cocktails. The great selection of bourbons were a welcome sight for this KY crew. I could keep going... I'll hurry back, for sure!!

I finally went here after hearing so many good things about this restaurant. This place is unlike anything else in Manitowoc County. A real treat for a foodie! They have a great wine and beer selection. Worth the drive from Green Bay, Appleton, or Sheboygan! A great place to celebrate with a small group or get away for a romantic meal.

As we drove down from Green Bay on the winding country roads, I thought, where the heck are we eating tonight? But once we pulled up and walked in, I was completely astounded. It's this beautiful, charming, and cozy restaurant in the middle of nowhere! Everyone should try this place out. The dining room is pretty small - and it fills up fast. Don't even think about going without a reservation. Price-wise, it compares to the more upscale GB and taste-wise, blows the competition out of the water. Many times I'll go to a restaurant and think, I can cook something very similar to this so why am I paying $35 a plate? However, our appetizers and entrees were so amazingly delicious, I honestly doubt I could replicate it. I'm regretting not choosing the special of the night (pecan encrusted wild salmon). Instead I went for the regular menu item of Chicken supreme. It was delicious, no question, but a little too creamy sauce laden. The accompanying potatoes au gratin were unlike anything I've seen - a Ratatouille style layering of thinly sliced potatoes, cream sauce, cheese, and creamy filling(?). Our beet/pear arugula salad appetizer and calamari with tomato chutney did not disappoint either! I think this is a perfect place to take a special date or out of town guests. I can't wait for our next visit.

Big city food in the middle of nowhere. The walleye entry was perfectly cooked. It's a generous portion of walleye too. The vegetables were snappy (and maybe just a tad undercooked) and the cheddar gratin was warm, not hot, but delicious. The Moroccan lamb shank special was out of this world. Spicy and delicious. Warm chocolate pudding dessert was a great finish. Nice atmosphere. Can't believe it's in Collins, WI!

We visited Al Corso as part of aour traveling Wednesday group. Food was fantastic and the service was warm and inviting. Brenda was a great hostess/bartender and was able to provide some insight on the menu. Christine our server was fantastic. The food was fantastic. The bone in ribeye was a great piece of meat prepared perfectly. The bordenaise sauce was a tad on the sweet side for me, but certainly not enough to sway my impression. The bacon wrapped scallops were a great app. The creme brulee was nothing to write home about...but admittedly I am not a big dessert guy. All six of us loved our entrees and the experience. Only about 30 minutes from De Pere/Green Bay...worth the trip.

Fantastic food, service was family friendly. In the middle of no where, but easy to get to from everywhere :)

Terrific restaurant. Easily one of the best restaurants in the greater Fox Valley. The lamb with red pepper risotto was wonderful

I live close by and have been to Al Corso three times now and have been disappointed each time. The drab black and brown decor turns me off especially for being such a small dining area. Very uninviting. I found the food OK but overrated.
