We love Papa Murphy's! Their delite crust is fabulous - cracker thin and crispy (just need to remember to cook it on the LOWEST rack in your oven. The take n bake concept is an affordable option for ordering out pizza, and there are always a ton of coupons in the paper every other week or so. The employees are always very friendly and the place is CLEAN.

This place was really good! I was not expecting to be this impressed. We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before grocery shopping (never grocery shop hungry). I ordered the grilled chicken buffalo wrap and my husband ordered a patty melt. Both were delicious! And the owner John made all the food right in front of us. The beer was cold. No complaints!! Really good food for a place that is primarily a bar!
John's keeps it real in Btown. If you're looking for decent food with a cold beer then X marks the spot.
I recommend the ranch chicken wrap! We enjoy coming here in summer and hanging out in the beer garden. Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.

Great breakfast place near Lake Geneva. Reasonably priced drinks and food...and an opportunity to mix with the locals. Breakfast for 2 for under $10 unless you cocktail...and the bloody's are good. Friday Fish Fry is good as well as other weekday specials.
Really great home style eatery. Humble atmosphere, dirt cheap prices, friendly service. The only thing that bothered me was the flies in the restaurant. It is summer and the place was busy with the doors opening and closing constantly but a restaurant is no place for flies. Had the veggie omelet and biscuit gravy which were both outstanding. This place is blue collar......with a side of sweetness. ;)
This is a secret gem! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed! Sure the place could use a little updating, so if you are looking for ambiance, this is not the place. If you want great service, tasty food and excellent prices/value, Local Folks is it! It has the best Friday fish fry around, too!

Tonight was my husband's second time and my first time getting orange beef from here (take out). We are impressed! We have had orange beef in the states of WA, TX, and now WI and this place is one of the best we've had. We tried many places in TX and WA, too! The flavor is good and you really get a lot for the cost. Aside from the orange beef and side of rice, you also get soup and egg roll, too. So, for 2 orange beef meals that came each with rice, soup, and egg roll and then an add on for a large white rice, it all came to $24. I got the Wonton Soup for both meals-- very good! So were the egg rolls! Our 7 yr old son tried orange beef for the first time when my husband got it here first and he loved it, so of course he had some tonight :) This is definitely going to be our go-to place for chinese.
First thing I have to say is the sashimi cuts where the thickest EVER. My chopsticks where like fishing poles, they where practically bending. Second, the service was so slow I think the fish died of old age. I ate half my meal before I got a drink but the chef handed me a complimentary plate of some awesome salad I've never had before. The rolls where very good and I'm glad I sat at the sushi bar but the one problem with that is the bar is way to low, I wanted to hold my plate up to my face. The chef was awesome and the fish was thick so for that I give 3 stars. I had waitresses running back and forth and for a $50 meal, I wasn't offered soup or salad before my sashimi came, then they took away my soy tray and that is not cool (I don't speak Korean so they ran off with it, I tried to stop them) I was here so long I hope they send my pay check to the right address. I doubt I'll be back (I went out of my way to try the place) because the service was terrible but the chef was good. Good guy, good preparation. If I lived in burlington, I would come back but since I live closer to way better places, I have to tip my hat to this place. Plus no soup or salad, boooooo.
Got the Sushi Lunch special. While I could eat more, it was a good amount for the price. came with either soup or salad, 5 pieces of sushi and a California roll. Next time, might try the Sushi and Sashimi lunch which is 6 pieces of sashimi, 3 pieces of sushi, a California roll and soup or salad.

I grew up in the Burlington area and our family has been getting great Chinese here for over 10 years!!! They have the best BBQ pork fried rice I've ever had, and that's saying a lot since I now live in San Francisco. China Town can't even compare!!! I look forward to ordering takeout here every time I come home. The Beef Pepper Steak, Chicken Chop Suey, and Egg Foo Young are all great too. If you love Chinese food and are looking for a good place give it a try!!!
Been here a couple times. Wife loves Asian food me not so much. They have good crab Ragoon though and that works for me.
The decor needs some major updating but the good is great. I order from here all the time and the food is very consistent, always hot and delicious. Great for carry out, not for dining in.

The pasta and pizza were very good, definitely above average. The service was a little slow, but it was a Sunday night and they may not have been fully staffed. A good place to go if you are in town.
Good food, very comparable to the competition in town at Napoli's. The waitress when we were there was kind of slow and inattentive. There was a fruit fly in my drunk I ordered. Take it for what it's worth
Food was good, reasonably priced, GREAT service! I would recommend for someone looking for something other than burgers and sandwiches.

Mahi Mahi wrap and Santa Fe salad were excellent. The guacamole was made fresh but was just OK
Great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of their entrees have a spanish flair but if that doesn't work there is plenty of good dishes on the menu. Seems like there are always specials.
Breakfast - fantastic Irish skillet and stuffed potato omelette. Great service and atmosphere, very clean. Highly recommend. Received this giant fried ice cream free for checking in - thanks YELP!

Maybe 3.5 stars. Been here twice for lunch, never for dinner. A pleasant experience both times. The place is an older corner bar with tin ceilings, tile floors, and what appears to be the original woodwork. In addition to table in the bar area there are a couple of small alcoves (rooms ?) in back for tables. At most the place sits maybe 50 or 60 people. Both times we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. Menus and water appeared instantly, specials of the day were recited. The menus are heavy on beer and martinis and other alcoholic indulgences. Lunch menu consists of a couple of specials, a couple of soups and the usual printed menu. A nice selection and assortment of things to eat. My first trip was last summer and they had a cold melon soup on the menu. Pieces of watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew in a syrupy-type broth. Most interesting. Today my wife had a black angus burger complete with cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, etc. She pronounced it quite acceptable. I had a club wrap, a club sandwich in a wrap rather than bread. Very nice. We keep meaning to try the place for dinner to see if the seafood is any good, but it is a 35 miles drive from where we live. Maybe when it gets to be Jimmy Buffet weather (Rag Top Day).
We have eaten there a number of times....with up to six folks...never disappointed. A good wide ranging menu; good beer and wine selection with suggestions on each menu item, which I appreciate. We really like the new NO SMOKING rule for the entire place...in advance of the 7/5/2010 ruling....makes it a much nicer place to eat for all. We recommend it...a little pricy (by SoWi standards) but worth it.
Definitely make reservations. I couldn't get in for lunch on a Wednesday about a month ago. Today was not busy, but I had reservations just to be sure. We had the fried brie with cranberries for an appetizer. It was very good. I had the Peanut Chicken Salad with spicy peanut dressing. It was excellent. My friend had a bacon cheddar burger, and I'm normally not a burger fan, but it looked mouthwatering. The staff was impeccable, letting us talk as long as we wanted with few interruptions, but being sure to be right there whenever needed. They substituted sliced tomatoes for potatoes on request. My only regret is that I was too stuffed for dessert, as I really wanted to try the chocolate creme brulee. While some may say $27 (w/o tip) is too much for lunch for 2, I'd rather go out half as much and pay the extra to get this really great food, atmosphere, and service.

Best place for breakfast in Racine county. If you come a lot you will be quickly friends with the owners. They have good food most importantly. Lots of the locals come and you should too!!! Simply As Good As It Gets.
First time we stopped by it was nice. Good grilled cheese, soup and service. This time not so. Only 3 tables filled and I was seated right on top one of the occupied tables. The cooks had to tell server I was waiting to be seated. Asked to chance my table. Then I ordered turkey club. Felt like I got a bite of something I could not eat. The turkey had streaks of gelatin like substance through it. I ate rest of sandwich minus turkey. Typical breakfast lunch dinner place. Nothing special.
Pine Street Cafe is one of the best places to eat in Burlington. The owners, Maria and Hector really try to make you feel welcome. The food is great and lots of choices. The staff are very friendly and offer quick service.

Charcoal Grill

Every time I est here I feel like my clothes smell like the restaurant smells after leaving. The food here is mediocre, all the usual American fair. Burgers are decent here, but I can only really recommend the appetizers during happy hour. I've heard from several soirces that the charcoal grill is preventing other businesses in Burlington from obtaining their liquor license and has been doing so for some time. While it's not something I can say for sure it wouldn't surprise me as it's been infamously hard to get a liquor license in town since they opened. I stopped giving them my service after learning about this.
Service was exceptional, and everyone was very friendly... My only complaint would have to be the fish sandwich, which was alright... The bun was basically like it came out of the bag.. So cold and like "walmart great value bun" taste.. The fish itself was okay, but I wasn't a huge fan of the cheese on it. I also ordered a glass of strawberry lemonade, definitely tasted like Kool-Aid.. Wasn't good... Now my friend ordered a pizza, which definitely looked and tasted better than mine. So it's possible if you avoid the fish you'll be okay.
We went here because we were staying at a nearby hotel. It is overpriced, has mediocre food, and poor service. On our second night we decided to venture a bit further into town and found much better options.
