After seeing the commercials for the butter burger I thought I would try them again since I don't eat here. Why do they call it a drive through when it's a drive and park so you can wait for your food to be brought over to you. The menu board in the drive through shows most all burgers being double meat and since I didn't want a massive burger I ordered the single bacon cheese burger. I was annoyed that you have to build your burger so I was put on the spot and I like just to get a pre built cheese burger served to me. My first impression was for $4.18 it was pretty small when BK across the street has a whopper for $2.50 with the 2 for $5 deal. The burger was good for what it was but its not a real deal cheese burger. The beef patty was kind of thin and it didn't have major beef flavor like the Wendy's beef patty has. I really was expecting something more after watching the commercials for years. Overall Culvers will not be a fast food burger place that I will be visiting in the future which is nothing against Culvers because I just don't care for most fast food burger places. When I have a burger I want a real meaty burger.

Five or six times a year, we treat ourselves to a quick burger/tuna melt and/or some ice cream/custard. Culver's, in general, is consistently an AOK quality fast food purveyor. All of the locations I've been to (in WI) have had clean, modern spaces and serious minded, well-trained young staffers providing friendly, efficient service. This one, on 124th, is no exception.

I love Culver's. It's definitely my favorite fast food chain. I've been a fan since they were a 1 location restaurant in Sauk City, Wisconsin in 1984. You could say (Yay!) I'm a fan......so it shall get 4 stars from me. The one thing I love about Culver's is consistency. You will get the same EXACT burger in Brookfield that you will get in Shorewood. And the great thing about that, unlike McDonalds, it will be a good product in both places. Culver's just always tastes so much fresher to me than any other fast food place does. Burgers, Cheese Curds, Custard....i'm a fan of it all.

Absolutely the slowest culvers I've ever been to 15 minutes for a shake and fries in the drive-through

Great foods! My favorite menu is fish cod filet. Burgers are great too. They have variety food menu and their ice creams are great too.

Fish dinners are not bad on Fridays especially the walleye but for that price the rolls are pathetic and fry's can be over done. Manager would sell more if it included rye bread instead of hard rolls.

And Culver's is why Wisconsin people are fat Butter on all food Culver's centerpiece item is the Butter Burger, which is total truth in advertising; the burger is not so much greasy as it so soaked in butter that anything other than the meat and the bun get destroyed. I usually get the fish sandwich, at least it makes sense for butter to be on that. The milkshakes are thankfully butter-free, and thus are the best part. They come in all sorts of flavors and actually are made from what they're supposed to be made from; i.e. the blueberry has blueberries at the bottom of your shake that get stuck in your straw. All this writing about butter reminds me of this stupid little fact: Back in the 1960's, it was illegal for anyone in Wisconsin to buy margarine. Yup.

I lived in Milwaukee for 2 years while I was attending grad school at Marquette, so I'm quite familiar with Culver's and the whole frozen custard thing in general. I loved going to Chipotle for dinner after a long week of school and then crushing a custard at the Culver's next door for dessert. However, when my girlfriend (now wife!) would come visit me from California, we would go to this Culver's for lunch as well. Their food was pretty good, and the employees were always so friendly and down to earth. We also enjoyed the family atmosphere of this restaurant. I moved back home in 2006 so it has been awhile, but I'm pretty sure this Culver's is still the same. I was happy to move after being alone for 2 years, but this is one of the places that I miss the most in Milwaukee and my Wisconsin experience.

This is always a stop of mine when I'm in the Midwest...sadly I can never finish it...I'm just not use to the idea of custard...I'm more of a gelato fan I guess...but they were super nice here and I have heard oodles and oodles of amazing things about their burgers!

The green beans were great, really they were. Everything else kind of scared me. By everything, I mean the cheeseburger I had. I'm just not enough of a burger fan to justify the grease factor. The fries were actually pretty good, especially considering they're crinkly fries, which are normally flavorless... Though they really tasted like they'd been fried in lard. Again, the "scaring me" part. Don't think I'd try Culver's again, at least not willingly, but this will always be etched in my mind as the place where my daughter had her first bit of french fry.

LOL i thought the cheese burger was delicious and not at all greasy, its not something I would have all the time mind you but then I try to keep my fast food intake down to once every few months. I think I like Culver's better than In-n-Out.

I enjoy this place immensely and it's a frequent respite whenever I visit my in-laws. The staff is always very gracious and efficient, especially by fast-food standards. This is fast-food at it's best: quick, tasty, yummy and greasy. And their milkshakes/malts are to die for. I got a small butter burger, small fries, and a small vanilla malt with chocolate syrup and it was truly fabulous. I love the buttery crusty bun and the snappy sour pickles. Little details matter. I'd probably never throw down 5 stars for a burger joint, but if I did it's this one. Easy 4 stars+.
