The food was not good at all. Wife had baby beef liver and was gross and tasteless. I had the special of ribs and chicken. Over cooked ribs with Open Pit sauce dumped on, chicken had a strange taste. Soup appeared to be canned. The roll was a brown and serve from the store but was the only thing that tasted ok. Service was poor. Not friendly and seemed like the locals got preferred service. I will never go back.

Stopped in for a sit down breakfast and the place was packed with older folks and guys that looked to be going fishing somewhere. The menu had you standard Midwest breakfast options. I went with 2 pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. By buddy went with the house omelet. The food came out pretty quick, and was OK nothing to write home about but given the options in town...

The atmosphere isn't the nicest and the food sucks. The older generations seem to like the place, not sure why? But 4 out of the 5 times I've been there, the food definately could have been better. It just seems like cruddy school cafeteria food.

I really only stopped in for coffee, but I have to concur with the other reviewers. My coffee was extremely weak. My traveling companion had a slice of pie and was not impressed. I thought the atmosphere of the place was great Local folks, mostly older, enjoying their morning coffee and breakfast.

DO NOT STOP. BUY CHIPS AT A GAS STATION INSTEAD. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and an order of mozzarella sticks. The moz sticks themselves were ok; nothing special, nothing horrible. The marinara sauce was repulsive. The grilled chicken sandwich was inedible. It was a piece of grizzle pounded so flat that the bottom of the bun was three times as thick. I took one bite and had to spit it in my napkin. I had two other people I was dining with try it to make sure I was not being a chicken snob and they had the same reaction. Along with my order of moz sticks and sandwich was a kids meal, two sodas and a grilled cheese. The total was: $26. Rip off.
