I don't know a lot about Pho, but I've never been disappointed when I come here; which is every Friday now for lunch. I call this tradition Pho Fridays. Don't copy me though, not trying to deal with lines. However this place would handle lines fine because the service is very speedy. You go in seat yourself, look at the menu, waiter is back quick, and food comes out in about 5 minutes sometimes less. Perfect if you don't have much time to eat between work. As far as I can tell this place is delicious af. Always finish my whole bowl, broth and all with no regrets. Never had a problem with service at this place. Always adequately nice, but never going to get in your face with friendliness. Aint nobody got time for that! Even if they mess up your order (never happens to me) just make your revision and it will be resolved in a matter of minutes.

This has been my go-to pho restaurant ever since I moved to Woodinville a year ago, and this will be the last time I will ever step foot here. My best friend & I came in around 6:30pm on a Friday and ordered what we typically get: a medium 14 which has basically everything in them. I also ordered a Thai Iced Tea. 15 minutes later and the server came with one of our bowls of pho. I figured mine would come within 5 minutes of hers. Oh, I was wrong. I sat for a few more minutes and approached the waiter and informed him that we asked for two #14s. All he said was "I didn't hear you say you both wanted one." and left it at that. Not even an apology for the misunderstanding. I walked out with no pho, spending $3.50 on a Thai Tea & overall, I had a displeased experience. Poor customer service. Never eating here again.

The best Pho in town! They are so fast you do not even need to call in if you're ordering togo!

There were a lot of things that I really didn't like about my experience. I called the restaurant and ordered a couple bowls of pho Togo because I had ordered veggie broth they said it would be 20 minutes. I showed up about 10 minutes later and as I was waiting I told the guy what I had and offered him my credit card. He looked at me, looked at the clock and said you still need to wait 10 minutes I told you 20. Now I get that he said 20 but he could have said this a variety of different ways and have been nicer about it. He told me I pay when my food ready. So whatever 10 minutes later get my food pay and roll but I was upset with how rude the guy was. When I got home I got to the food which as a pho to go is pretty hard to screw up. The cream puffs were awful, they were so bad that I think they probably shouldn't even give them out they just take away from everything else the problem with them is that they are small, lack the correct texture of a cream puff and taste old and store bought. To me they didn't seem like they were made freshly, also the cream in the puff was more of a paste it was thick and weird tasting. The problem I had with their veggie non msg broth was that in pretty sure it was just hot water. There was no flavor with this happening it made the whole dish taste flavorless and tasteless. I hate when the brisket just tastes like old cold slices of brisket. On a side note, the restaurant was disgusting. There were dirty tables everywhere and no one was cleaning them, the whole 20 minutes I was there no one had touched a single dirty table With the rude counter guy and the awfulness of the food it's safe to say I won't go back again. If you want a real good non mag broth yummy pho in Redmond can deliver.

Not the best but definitely not the worst. Ordered my usual whenever I visit a pho restaurant - pho dac biet. Was very disappointed. First off, not much flavor. Good pho has the aromas of star anise, cinnamon, and cloves. You can taste the sweetness of the rock sugar and the ginger. This place...nothing. Just green onions. So it just tells me...boxed broth with green onions. Secondly... You order pho dac biet for the tripe. While their tripe was tender and well done, they totally skimped out on the tripe. Tripe isn't that expensive. Third...when I am the only Vietnamese person there outside of the staff, never a good sign. Not opposed to coming back but definitely will look for other options when it comes to lunch in Woodinville.

I'm not a Pho-connoisseur, but I've had my fair share of pho. Pho Vina is one of the better restaurants I've been to. I always stick with the standard pho, and recently avoid the "flank steak" since each restaurant I've visited to seems to serve "fake steak" as I like to call it. Never seems high quality. But regardless of whether there is meat or only tofu, Pho Vina's bowls are very flavorful even before adding the sauces (sriracha!!). Absolutely great with the basil, splash of lime, and jalapeno slices for the spice-lovers. A tasty cream puff is served at your table at no cost... well, that's nice! Though it's visually your typical hole-in-the-wall spot, it's the place to go on a gloomy day to bring back some warmth and comfort to your day!

The pho is ok. Not the best I have ever had. But it is close to home. The people are friendly which makes a world difference to me. I hate going to yummy pho sometimes because they are so rude. But this place had much better customer service. I was bummed out last night because they packed my bag so full, it broke the pho containers open. There was pho broth in my bag and that's money lost. The portions could be bigger and better packing jobs for the to go order.

Great straight forward pho and Bahn mi sandwiches in Woodinville. Bahn mi is $3.95 perfect before wine tasting.

I used to come here regularly, but the service has gone down hill. The people that used to work there were friendly and would often acknowledge the usual items I ordered (#1 beef pho with fish sauce and extra limes). The younger server that is there now is just not all there in the head. He doesn't smile, he's rude, doesn't acknowledge your presence, and hardly says a word. Also, cleanliness has gone down as well. There's 4 empty dirty tables in a pretty empty restaurant and this server was just hanging out behind the counter. Food seems alright though, which is why I give 2 stars. I don't think I will be stopping by for awhile after witnessing the service by this particular server every time I'm there.

A pretty solid experience for a big, comforting bowl of beef broth and rice noodles! Pho Vina is your standard Pho restaurant, tucked away in a food plaza with all kinds of other ethnic food options nearby. Pho Vina is clean, fast, and super affordable ( $3-3.50 for spring rolls, $5.50-8.50 for pho depending on what size, $8.50 for vermicelli bowls). When you dine in, they also give each person a complementary cream puff (not terribly delicious, but still!). My group all tried some variation of their beef pho. The dish hit the spot for comforting pho, but there was room for improvement. The broth was good, but lighter and less flavorful than others I've tried; the beef flavor from the soup didn't fully sink into the noodles or meat. Additionally, the well-done flank meat was a little too well-done and on the tough side. Also, the service was very lacking. As in, non-existent. Nobody greeted us when we walked in, so we had to awkwardly stand around until somebody noticed us and got us seated. After gruffly taking our order, our water disappeared for the rest of the dinner, and we didn't know we were supposed to get up to pay for the bill at the front until after long minutes waiting for our server to come back. Come for the cheap and heartwarming pho, don't expect too much else!

  • Betti J.

Nope. Not coming back. Met a friend there for lunch last week. Broth was pretty bland. I found myself putting a ton of hoisin and Sriracha into it to make it palatable. Cream puff was mushy. Tips of the bean sprouts were getting nasty. Last time I'm going here. I can get better at Pho Bothell. So I will go there instead.

Disgustingly filthy. My girlfriend and I were in the area on a Tuesday around 1PM and stopped by, looking for a bowl of pho. Upon walking in, we noticed there was only one table in the entire restaurant that did not have dirty pho bowls from past customers. By the look of it, the staff had not been cleaning the tables after guests for hours. The table that was clear however, had a lot of water on it. When the server sat us there, he wiped the table down with an overly wet rag that had a nasty aroma, leaving the table just as wet as before and now reeking of mildew and dirty cloth. After seeing this, we left. We refused to dine in such a dirty facility that does not care for their customers and should probably get a check-in from a food and health service worker.

Place was great and my 2 year old niece loved it so that works! Tasty quick cheap and decent service. What more do you expect from a place like this. I posted pics of the menu since they dont rock a website like most places. Enjoy! No kids menu but you can get plain pho.

We really like this place but now know they use MSG in their broth (at least chicken). There are too many health risks associated with it to keep coming here... I hope you change your minds about using MSG and we will be back!

  • Paul M.

This place tastes alright and the prices are really good. As another reviewer stated, the Pho broth tastes somewhat bland compared to other Pho joints. When ordering takeout, the service is impressively fast at times (in and out between 5-10 minutes) and friendly.

  • Bryce H.

We sat down and were ignored for at least 5 minutes. Someone came after us and were served quickly. Most tables were no longer occupied but still a mess with empty soup bowls. We eventually decided to leave. Very disappointing for a pho restaurant.

My first visit here, I sat right next to one of two beautiful fish tanks that provide nice ambience. I ordered the vermicelli with marinated grilled chicken and will definitely be making this my lunch break spot when I'm in Woodinville. Fast and friendly service, and so legit they don't even offer silverware so I got to practice my chopstick handling. I had pretty good form I'd say, because my bowl kept getting more and more empty as my stomach became quite full and satisfied. Didn't even get any on me. And the included cream puff was a nice finish. Come check it out!

  • Dan P.

I got the xtra large pho. It wasn't as big as I thought it would be...but it was good. The spring rolls and vegetable rolls were good appetizers. Overall, this place didn't necessarily stand out but it is a good alternative to going somewhere further away if you live in the neighborhood. They do give free dessert...a cream puff per person.

  • Mark Y.

Not earth shattering but it's good Pho.. quality soup stock, fresh noodles, and fresh basil/veggies. I wish the chili oil was actually chili.. it's not spicy at all. otherwise it's solid stop for a quick bite.

Note: if you're allergic to MSG, order your soup with veggie broth. Went here almost before closing time on a sunday, and were pleasantly surprised that neither us nor other patrons were in the least made to order early or feel rushed. The place is a regular Vietnamese place, with a mangnificent fish tank... check out the living corals, they are breathtaking. They have 4 sizes to their noodle soups, I think a medium is sufficient for an average adult. I ordered no. 17 on their menu, which was a veggie noodle soup. a good helping of veggies, very filling and flavorful. My husband took the chicken noodles in veggie broth, as he's allergic to MSG. Both were great, although the chicken soup was just chicken, noodles and broth. maybe next time we'll order a serving of veggies with it. Nice servers, and great prices. look forward to going back there again.

Great little pho place. Price point is nice as well. Customer services is lacking. Not very friendly staff.

I was craving some pho and was in the area so we stepped in to this place.. and we're glad we did! For a weekend, a little past regular lunch time it was empty; this would usually concern me, but most pho places seem to have peak times and then kind of slow times and I figured that with all the positive reviews it was probably just a slow time. The pho broth was sweeter than other pho broths I've had in the area, but it was still very good. The meat was cooked well also. There are bowl size options up by the cashier, so order accordingly... yes, the portions get to be HUGE! The surprise on the menu for us was the banh mi sandwich for such a good price of $3.50 -- I was thinking it would end up being a mini-sandwich but it was full-sized on a nice toasted roll with lots of meat inside. It wasn't as spicy as other banh mi sandwiches I've had, but there are some spicier sections of the sandwich... oh, and there's Sriracha on the table if you want to spice it up more too ;) Pho Vina is located in a little strip mall with some other restaurants (and Ezell's) and the window mentions FREE DESSERT which came before the food, but we set them aside and just waited until the end of our meal to enjoy the little cream puffs. It was a nice treat at the end of the meal: not too sweet, but sweet enough. The service was good, although there was a little language barrier and then a bit of awkwardness at the end of the meal when we waited for the check that never came and then just decided to walk up to the register to pay (I assume with waiter service, they'd bring a check, but maybe not!). I'm sure we'll be back for some good pho and another banh mi or two ;)

Wow, this is some fantastic soup. You never know where the good stuff will pop up. It just takes one cook who knows what they're doing to make a place fantastic. This is a little strip mall off 140th in a section of the burbs where everything looks like it was built all at once, and immediately clogged with gridlockish traffic. You've been here in dozens of places surrounding Seattle. But there's plenty of parking and the dining room is cool, clean, and comfortable. You walk in and the marine tropical fish tanks are the first things you notice--big colorful fish and live plants too. There are tables neatly scattered through the room, with plenty of space and lots of light streaming in. It's just right. The bowls of pho are ENORMOUS. I didn't even get the XL, either. The Large itself will fill a basketball cut in half. The broth is lovely--miraculously unsalty, with a nice buttery flavor that might be from bones boiled into the stock (I'd hope). The noodles are just right, and they give you tons of vegetables, especially mushrooms, broccoli, and tofu. Which is not a vegetable, but you know what I mean. The spring rolls are firm and crisp, and the coffee is beautifully presented in a little bowl of warm water. Great flavor and plenty of caffeinating fuel. The prices here might be a buck higher, at most, but the quality is definitely there to justify it. I have a Woodinville stop for pho now for sure.

Been coming here pretty often since we are near by, but will not be back. Their sizes are stingy for their prices. Extra large is a joke. Noodles are short to begin with but meat runs out half way through the noodles. Flavor is decent but sweet especially when cooled down. Recommendations to the owners - don't be stingy with your noodles and meat and satisfy your customers and make it up on volume instead of cutting cost per order. In the long run you do not benefit as you lose frequent pho eating customers like us. Your extra large portion should be a large. Visit Than Brothers in Edmonds or Lynnwood. You copied their dessert service why not their portions. Your prices are higher but with lot less.

  • Kris D.

A friend and I were looking for a pho place because we used to go to than brothers but they closed the one we went to and the others are really dirty and run down. I was excited about this place because they pho is good and the restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is better. One of the things I had liked about Than brothers was their cream puffs and Pho Vina also offers them! Overall it was a very satisfying meal. The size of the small pho was perfect and the broth was very nice.

  • Jane D.

I live near this place and have had nothing but fast friendly service and delicious food everytime. The pho is some of the best in the area, always my go to. Their egg rolls are traditional Vietnamese and crisped to a perfection. They serve a free house made cream puff with every meal and even have traditional Vietnamese coffee. You know The pho is good when the place is always crowded with Vietnamese people, which this one is. All the servers are so sweet. Not to mention it is the cheapest pho I've had in Seattle! Definitely must try!

Decent vietnamese food here, especially for up north, very hard to find a good viet restaurant up here but this place is delicious and you don't leave smelling like a bowl of pho! :)

I feel like my review is not very believable, but it happened today. My husband and I have been meeting here for lunch relatively frequently this summer, however, today, the server in the purple shirt was rather unfriendly to us - frowny face, no hello, no thank you, no service... then started playing techno/club music in the restaurant on their general speakers all around the building while we & many other people were trying to eat... he walked around the place to the beat of the music, which was becoming more and more unsettling as the beat was building and getting faster and faster... (how can you eat and digest well with this kind of music?) Then some kind of trashy lyrics came on, still with the obnoxious beat. At which point, the guy in the purple shirt turned up the volume. REALLY? It's not like I'm in my advanced years, I'm only 30. But techno & club music has its time and place to be listened to. Not at lunchtime when you're trying to enjoy food and have a conversation with your tablemates. It's sad that there is no thought being given to the needs of the customer... ie a nice eating environment where one can enjoy their meal without feeling their heart rate rising to the beat of techno music. Oh, and a smile and courtesy would go a long way as well. We can do our best to avoid the two television sets that are set to CNN which are always talking about some disaster these days (wanna eat Pho while watching the Ukraine plane disaster or a story on the killed US general?) but our ears can't quite block out stressful music. Anyway, I don't feel like coming back anymore. Maybe they'll clue in sometime and realize that environment is a key part of the eating experience and that if you create an unfriendly, stressful environment, people aren't going to come back. I hope so.

I ordered the medium pho with steak and extra veggies. The basil and lime slice were all fresh and looked nice. The portions were also great. Plenty of meat and broccoli and noodles. I just didn't think the broth was the most flavorful and there wasn't anything that I could add to make it spicy. The peppers were lacking in spice as well as the chili sauce. Still a good place to get lunch in Woodinville.

Pros: The Pho is flavorful, light and extremely satisfying. The prices are fantastic compared to other Pho restaurants in the area. Cons: The service is atrocious. Last time I was there, I was ignored for the first 15 minutes even though there were only three other tables and two of those were finished with their meal. It seems like the staff views the customers with contempt, as if we were inconveniencing them by patronizing their restaurant. One of the staff was cleaning the table near me just as I finished my glass of water. She saw me, averted her eyes and quickly walked away. I had to go to the front counter and ask for a refill. If the service was good, or even decent, I would give this place five stars. That's how delicious their soup is.

  • Jasmin L.

This place was the worst. They didn't have any of the basic vegetables for pho. They didn't have boba for the bubble tea. They didn't give us "free dessert" which clearly says it on their window. They only gave half a cup of their Vietnamese coffee. Finally, they kept saying "Sorry, next time." Uh, there definitely won't be a next time.

So far I've had their Pho three times and I can officially say that this is my favorite. It's very affordable, great portions and good customer service.

  • Connie W.

The food was pretty good, however the service wasn't. The place only had 3 couples seated on the fat right side. The waiter wanted to put us in the far back against a wall, on the way to the restrooms. We declined and got a seat near the front on the other, empty side. The ice tea was so clear it was flavored water. The fish tank was beautiful and my pho was good. I'll look for a different place next time I'm in Woodinville.

Awesome pho. I eat here quite a bit and it's very consistent. Never had a bad broth here. Super friendly staff and they make a very nice puff pastry omg I get at least 2 every time!

This is probably the cheapest pho I've seen in the Bothell area. They have a variety of sizes and you can add noodles and other items if you want more. The broth isn't bad. It definitely had it's good and bad days but if you're looking for your pho fix, this is a good place to go. Sometimes, I feel the serving lacks in quantity of noodles but it's fine. The tofu/vegetable pho is delicious with the beef broth. I usually have the small since I get full fast. Different from other places this place offers free whipped cream puffs for dessert. I've only had pho here but the service is friendly and you get your food fairly quickly. Just go to the cash register when you're ready to pay.

Tried pho here for the first time yesterday. Not really my kinda meal but it was pretty tasty I must say! I'm just not much of soup person. I had the roast beef and round eye (#2). Dudes I work with love it so I'm sure I'll end up there again. Gonna try the chicken pho next time.

One of the best PHO i ate was here at Pho Vina. Highly recommended! They also have a beautiful Saltwater Aquarium. I got to use my Aquarium I.D. app to verify what was in their fish tank.

I've been here twice and love the food. Typical pho place. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. I LOVE spring rolls (the not-friend ones) and they were huge. They have good fish dipping sauce and I usually add it to my pho. Sizes and prices are good. You get free dessert as well (little cream puffs). I plan to come here again.

This place is my new favorite place to get pho! I've only had the brisket/flank pho, but it is has been excellent every time I come. The small is a decent size, and hard for me to finish even when I come in starving. The broth is probably the best I've had and does not require much hoison sauce at all. They also give you A TON of meat, even in the small, and it is always tender and delicious. For dessert, they offer cream puffs, which I've only found in one other pho restaurant thus far. A few days ago my boyfriend and I came in about 15 minutes before closing (sorry!) and we got our pho to-go so they wouldn't be waiting on us. We brought it home and were not disappointed! It still tasted fresh even though it was the end of the day. The only thing that made me sad was the cream puffs had no cream in them :( Overall , a clean, fresh restaurant and great experience!

I'll keep it short. Hands down the best pho I've ever had... and the service is amazing too. I work nearby and this is almost a weekly stop for my co-workers and I. I generally order a medium #1, add tofu. It's amazing. Everyone in my usual group orders something different and they all feel the same way. The condiments (basil, bean sprouts, limes) are the freshest looking and tasting I have had at any pho place in Seattle. The cream puff is also extremely good and always fresh.

3rd visit...clean establishment, good service, awesome broth, noodles cooked right, light on the meat. goi cuon (shrimp roll), fresh and tasty but the peanut sauce lacked spirit....$10.50 for medium size pho plus rolls. Cheezy Kenny G music. 2 big beautiful fish tanks.....I'll be back! Did I say awesome broth?

    (4)
  • Eneri S.

Budget friendly prices. Pho had good flavor and fresh rolls came with peanut sauce, not just hoisin sauce. My son was disappointed when they ran out of tapioca for the bubble tea. He had to settle for jellies instead.

This is a great find! It is mostly what you expect from a decent pho restaurant: great broth, lots of meat and noodles in the pho, speedy service. Something a little different about this location is that they have a small, medium, large, and extra large for bowl size; most places usually only offer a small and large. I ordered a medium, as I assumed that because of all the bowl options, the "medium" would be more on the small side. I was wrong. It was too much food for me! My boyfriend ordered the large, and it was bigger than normal. This location also gives you the cream puff, which not all pho locations do that these days. Price was standard, and you go to the front to pay. Some locations they bring you the bill, and some do not, so just a heads up, in case you are sitting around waiting for your bill.

After the Red Hook brewery tour which was "off the hook" (pun intended - hip hop saying from the 90's which means Epic) , we needed some pho (pronounced Fa, like "Fa get about it") to counteract the beer. Nice selection of soups and the restaurant was airy with a lot of natural sunlight. I also enjoyed the gigantic pic of a busy street in Vietnam, which made me feel like I was there while having my pho.

Not bad place. Quite spacious and plenty of seating. Ordered their vegetarian pho. It was very good and filling. The Bahn Mai Sandwich was meh....I like the ones in International District better. Their was something about the seasoning on the meat. The pho was fine but not outstanding. Good place for a stop in a town that has a shortage of Asian restaurants.

I tried to like this place, I really did. The reviews were great, the location was great and prices seemed fair enough. The downfall, as some others have mentioned, is the service. I've gone to Pho Vina a total of 3 times and each time the service was equally as bad. The first time there, we were ignored by those in the back and waited awkwardly to be seated. Once acknowledged, we were treated as if we were the biggest inconvenience in the world. To top it off, my girlfriend ordered a green tea that was never brought out. We asked where it was and they apologized but failed to bring it out. It did not, however, fail to show up on our bill. Luckily the pho was pretty tasty. The second time, our seating time was much better. I thought "great, last time was just a fluke". But nope, I was wrong. Service was very unfriendly and again we seem to inconvenience them by ordering food in their restaurant... Ordered egg rolls to go along with our pho and my girlfriend tried ordering green tea again. The green tea failed to make it to our table, even with another reminder. The egg rolls showed up... but only after we were done with our pho and were ready to pay. But again the pho was tasty and hard to beat the price in the area. The third and last time, was more of the same. This time, however, to go along with cold service, we were brought out cold egg rolls. They tasted like they had been sitting out all day so I asked politely if there was anyway to get fresh rolls. The waitress looked at me puzzled and seem to not want to oblige. She returned a few minutes later with new rolls and we were very thankful. Much to our surprise, though, these new rolls were lukewarm at best and rather chewy (our last visit they were hot, crispy and delicious). Then comes the pho, which had been the saving grace the last two visits, but this time around the broth was almost as clear as water and had no flavor at all. I don't want to sound too nit-picky but they didn't even have lime wedges available to add more flavor. After these three experiences, I will not be going back. The food can be hit or miss but the service is a constant miss and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I've tried every pho place on the eastside and this is by far my favorite. The prices are better than most too. I get the large chicken with extra veggies and it's still cheaper than other places. Excellent broth and they use good meat. Most other places I'll only get veggie cause the meat quality can vary. Try it out, you won't regret it!

Pho Vina is on our list of regular places to visit. We normally get the beef pho, but also have had the Bahn Mi. The Pho is really flavorful and always steaming hot. The sprouts and Thai basil are always fresh, clean and cold. The Bahn Mi was excellent, the veggies were also cool and crisp. The complimentary cream puff is a nice touch as well. They are always clean and the prices are right on par with other Vietnamese restaurants.

Best pho I have tried so far, I've been to 5 other places, and they are the best. I ordered well done brisket and eye round steal pho (#2) steak and brisket was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the broth has tons of flavor. Lemon ginger tea was delicious and free cream puffs. They are cheap too, for an extra large it was like $7. I highly recommend coming to pho vina!!@

Just move to Woodinville from Bellevue area. My stand-by was Than Brothers when I lived in Bellevue (and Seattle too years ago). I was relieved to find a good substitute for pho up north. The XL bowl was pretty darn big. Broth was good. I liked the mini cream puffs with each order; just like Than Bros. I took home a grilled pork ban mi to my son. He loved it! I looked at it and it was loaded with grilled meat and veggies; unlike many of the pseudo bahn mi sold on the greater Eastside. This was a legit bahn mi that you can only buy at my favorite sandwich shop in Seattle......Saigon Deli. And for only 25 cents more than I would pay if I drove to Seattle! They also sell the rice noodle bowl dishes. They looked pretty good on other tables. Nice to find a pho restaurant that sells all the above: pho, bahn mi, and rice noodle bowl dishes.....and do them all very well.

I've been here several times and have not been disappointed. Often pho restaurants are inconsistant with their seasoning but not here. The broth is tasty, slightly sweet, the noodles are firm and the beef is tender. I think you really can't ask for more from pho... accept maybe a cream puff. Oh yes, they have those too!

There are not too many pho places on the east side of Seattle, but Pho Vina is one of the best. Their broth is always steaming hot but is a little too sweet for my tatse. However, some siracha hot sauce can fix that. Everytime I go their it always has the same great taste consistent taste. Their price point is spot on I always get the house special X-large pho for $8.25. Plus the complimentary house made cream puff is nice to before I kill my X-large pho. haha

Hmmm.. I thought I did write a review for this one but don't see it. Yelp glitch perhaps - help! Anyway - no glitch at pho vina. Ordered noodles with chicken - not a dish on the menu but they cooked that one up for me. Food took a little longer than usual to arrive. Once it did - I understood why. It seems they just cut the vegetables for me - it was THAT fresh and just how I like it. Sauce (on the side was awesome). Portions were generous. Price was right. Small clean place, very friendly respectful folks (it's got a family-run vibe to it almost). Like another reviewer - I also liked the simple marble-top tables. I will be back for more.

I love love love this place! I usually eat pho at least twice per week around Puget sound (sometimes 3-4) and this is hands down my favorite pho soup place. I schedule meetings in Woodinville just to have an excuse to swing by for lunch here. The portions are large, the price is cheaper than anywhere else and the service is quick and friendly. The pho is consistent. The broth is very good if not distinctive, the meat and noodle portions are large even in the small portions. My kids are picky but love this place and my teenager likes the Vietnamese sandwiches. He said, and I will admit, the background music is bad, but for this kind of consistency and price, you live with it. I can't say enough about this great restaurant.

Friendly service, and wonderful Pho. The broth has a deep, rich flavor -- and the portions are quite generous. This is also one of the few Vietnamese places I've found that prepare the Vietnamese coffee (espresso with condensed milk) at your table. (Many of the other local spots make the espresso hours beforehand, and pour it from a pitcher.) The cream puffs (an unexpected treat) were also very tasty!

I was super excited a couple weeks ago when I noticed, while waiting for someone in the parking lot, that a new Pho place was opening in Woodinville. By sheer luck I called them tonight because I had jotted down there phone number, and they were open! This is their first day of business. A great note is that for the first two weeks of business Pho Vina will be giving a 15% discount! YIP YIP! So what did I think? Well... I like the size variety to start off with. Small, Medium, Large and WOAH MAMA X-Large :) The prices in order of size are $5.35, $6.05, $6.75 and $7.45. They've, for now, have 18 different Pho to choose from. I did hear the nice gal behind the counter say eventually they will have other things like fresh rolls etc. But for now lets stick to the soup! You can also pay for extra meatballs, noodles, meat, broth and veggies. I never eat the meats but their selection included eye-round, well-done brisket, well-done flank, tripe, soft tendon, beef meatballs and chicken breast. Although the place was nice and clean and new, and decorated with some cute saltwater fishes, I was in a hurry and decided to get my Pho to go. I ordered a large Pho Chay, veggie pho, and subtracted the tofu. It came out pretty quick and was packaged nicely. I think by the time I got home my noodles were a bit over-steamed and sticky but they separated nicely once I put them in the broth. The veggies were plentiful and nicely cooked. I really found the broth quite tasty and not too salty. I appreciate them packing me some mint and lime and bean sprouts, YUM. And a nice little surprise, a cream puff for dessert!!!!! Thank you! Overall a great success I say, and I will definitely be back, and probably at least once a week since they gave me a stamp card! Buy 9 get one free!

I recently got my wife addicted to pho, and Pho Vina is by far the best that we've had. Their broth is different and much tastier than any other that we've tried.

Family owned, friendly Pho spot. Be careful when you order! Portion sizes are big. I ordered the large Pho brisket and tripe and nearly fell out of the chair when the waiter place a 'pail' size bowl of Pho in front of me. Unless you are really hungry the medium should serve most well. The Pho itself was good. Broth is very flavorful. Spring rolls as an app, another large portion. Peanut sauce is not the best I ever had but it serves the purpose. Service is quick and friendly. Nice to have good Pho right in town. Can anyone answer the great Pho question? Why is Pho served so hot? No matter where I order it I always get a steaming bowl that could melt steel.

This place ripped us off. We asked them to make a recommendation for a family of 4 (with few containers) & they over ordered and ended up charging us .60 for every take out container!!! It was twice the price that we normally pay. Will NEVER go here again. They don't tell you they charge for take out containers & you would never know unless you saw it in the small print on the menu. RIP OFF!

This is without a doubt the best Pho I've ever had. The staff is gracious and the restaurant is clean. A great asset to Woodinville.

I eat here all the time and their Pho is some of the best I've had in the Seattle area to date. I used to go to the other Pho place in Woodinville, but when this place opened we had to stop going there because this place is that much better. The broth is excellent and the serving sizes are large. Service was mixed about a year ago, but they seemed to have gotten their act together recently. Always packed at lunch so go early. Noodles are good. The meats are generally high quality. If you like Pho, this is a great place to go!

Worst service ever. The kid taking our order had an attitude and got our order wrong. We asked for 3 straws and he brings one at a time forcing my husband to ask for straws multiple times to get all 3 straws. And every time kid would look incredulous like.."another straw? Really?"...uh yes kid, there are 4 drinks on the table and we asked for 3 straws, not really asking for much. How ghetto. Also the food was mediocre, not worth the headache dealing with the bad mojo here.

My rating scale is as follows: I dish our stars for 1. Atmosphere 2. Service 3. Food and Drinks 4. Overall experience 5. Extra - WOW!- factor I love this place. The pho is delicious. I have tried the seafood pho and the no meat pho. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is nice. Service is always great. Food arrives quickly and pipping hot. Perfect for rainy days. Great portions, great prices! I have eaten here multiple times and have never had any problems. Star rating: 4/5

I'm not Pho-expert but I love this place. The food is really, really good. You might say, it's Pho-nominal! HA! But I digress. You can get huge portions for a very reasonable price and have plenty of leftovers. Meals come with cream puffs (as appetizers). I've never been sure why cream puffs and why they bring them out at the beginning, but whatever.... they're delicious! I wish they did a little better job of educating those of us not fluent in pho but if you ask, they'll try and steer you in the right direction. Also, I highly recommend the chrysanthemum tea.

  • Christina B.

This is my favorite pho place! I go to Pho Vino about once a week and always order a small pho tai (and a chrysanthemum tea w/ honey to go). I've been wanting to try their Vietnamese sandwiches but the pho is so good that I can never bring myself to order anything else. The broth is so flavorful and piping hot. Which brings me to their service, which is excellent. Despite how busy it gets during lunchtime, I've always gotten seated, put my order in, and received my pho within ten minutes. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly.

Standard Pho. Tastes good, and is busy. No surprises, which is good. They have four pho sizes instead of two.

Good pho and great service, will be definitely coming back here regularly Distinctive broth that holds up well over the whole bowl, noodles were perfectly prepared, basil and sprouts were fresh.

I won't say I'm a huge Pho Fan. But it's an easy Go To dish for a little ethnic food...apparently Seattle is third on the list of cities with the most Pho restaurants. Now, Pho Vina is in Woodinville, but you get the idea. And if you're in Woodinville, I would def head to Pho Vina vs. the other Pho place. Just about every variety of Pho. They even have the more unusual meats (Tripe & Tendon)...which to me is the best meats and a key criteria for me returning. Decor is all right. It's clean and tidy and there is a fishtank. Parking is easy too. Usual sauces, tho I don't think I saw the fish sauce or chilli garlic, but I tend to just use the Hoisin & Sriracha anyway. Vegees are okay. Sometimes the mung bean sprouts look like they're just a smidge past it's prime...I grew up eating alot of bean sprouts so I know my sprouts. They have 4 sizes available to meet any appetite. Prices are very reasonable for the area...not sure of the exact prices but $5 - $7 depending on size. Service is fast, but sometimes they can be a little slow on the water refill. And on about every occasion my egg rolls come half way through my meal and once on a to go order was missing all together but the next time I went the owner refunded the money & gave me an order of egg rolls on the house. There is a complimentary cream puff, but it tastes store bought, but I admit it, I totally still eat at least half of it. I would much rather get a Vietnamese Iced Coffee...it's an iced coffee on steroids...it's the condensed milk that makes it sooo good. Last of all the owner is super nice. He even gave me advice on Vietnam as I am planning a vacation there later this year. Wish they were open later but then again, nothing is open late in Woodinville.

I used to like their pho a lot, but the last 2 times were disappointing. The broth was murky and the meats were so fatty. Service isn't great either. Their banh mi is so buttery and we couldn't eat them. Kind of disappointing because this used to be our local pho place.

Pho is really good. Not too oily or salty. One of the best I've had. The spring rolls aren't that great at all. The portions sizes are huge. I'm used to getting larges not here. I got the large once and was frightened they offer a X-Large! Overall the food was good the meat was sliced up smaller than I've seen, but meat portion was good. I definitely had better spring rolls though.

Great Pho. I have probably been to 100 different Pho places around the country and this definitely ranks up there with the best. The service is great, the price is right, and they remember who I am when I walk in. The portion size is also amazing. You pay for a medium here that is comparable to a large anywhere else. The addition of the egg roles and spring roles was welcomed. We tried those today and were pleasantly surprised with their great flavor. The chili sauce with lemon grass is fantastic and we really appreciated the new sauce they created today. A little more heat for us spice lovers. My coworkers and I have gone at least once a week since they opened (sometimes I go twice) and we plan to continue that. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This place is the real deal! I eat here WAY too much, I can't help it! Super friendly people, awesome pho, very nice restaurant, and the prices are great. If you like pho or are just a soup fan in general like me, you best check this place out!

I love Pho! This is my first time in this place and it was quiet enjoyable! it was clean and the service was pretty good. there was a variety of things on the menu to choose from if you don't want to just eat pho. their spring rolls were freshly made and were quiet yummy! the price of the dishes were very reasonable. Loved the cream puffs which were given as part of our meal!!! will definitely come back and tell others about it! nice find!

Pho is decent and service is quick. Their spring rolls are made to order, but lack flavor. The peanut dipping sauce is terrible, and looks like it was watered down. It needs a stronger peanut flavor and a smoother texture. They are a Tran Brothers wanna be...

Wandered in here today because nothing else in the strip mall looked promising. What a great surprise! We ordered vegetarian spring rolls, #17 vegetarian pho, freshly made lemonade, Vietnamese iced coffee, and we also got the free house-made cream puffs for desert. Everything was fresh, tasty, fast, and good. Nothing at all bad to say, and service was friendly to boot. If we are ever in the area again, we will be back.

First off, this place reminds me of Pho Than Brothers but I think the place is cleaner and more friendly. They also have a frequent diner card. :) The pho itself is pretty good and they give you fresh, healthy looking basil. It is not too greasy it doesn't feel like they use MSG. They don't often open on time so that annoys me a bit and I end up going to Ezell's when that happens.

Great Pho! This has quickly become my favorite place for pho on the Eastside. The broth has a nice rich flavor, and the service is fantastic. Great Vietnamese coffee as well. They originally served lemon with the pho instead of lime which added a nice "freshness" to the broth, but lately it has come with lime.

Really good and fresh Pho. Doesnt seem to have MSG. Veggie broth made from scratch if requested and delicious. Good service too!

Worst Pho place ever, if they run out of ingredients they don't serve it to you, go across the street to albertons and get it cheap skates. They add a ton of MSG, soup tastes like chlorine water. NO customer service at all.

Great Eastside pho! I'd say this place one-ups Than brother's with much friendlier service and a very comparable taste. Will definitely be back!

Have tried this place twice, with visits 2 weeks apart. First time was pretty good, but second visit was abysmal. The Pho has a lot of flavor, but is far too sweet for my tastes. The noodles today had a bit of an off flavor, almost like a slight "refrigerator" taste. Second visit had horrible service. They took my order for Pho & for a plate of fresh spring rolls. The Pho was brought out, and then nothing else. I finished eating and went to the counter to pay, at which time I was told that they couldn't bring out my spring rolls because they were short-staffed. If that's the case, 1) why did they take my order for them in the first place, and 2) why didn't they promptly tell me they couldn't deliver the food I'd ordered. I was NOT looking for just a bowl of Pho, and had I known they couldn't deliver the fresh rolls I would have thanked them and gone someplace else instead. Now, they've permanently lost a customer.

Everyone in our party had stomach upset after eating there recently. I had severe diarrhea that I had to go to ER. Apparently will never go back again and will warn all my friends to think twice before they go. And they put way too much MSG in their pho.

I love when I find a restaurant that makes me feel happy to visit every time! Pho Vina has the best Pho! The Pho Ga is my favorite..the noodles are always prepared well and the chicken is pure white and shredded into perfect bite sized pieces. mmmm. This is a family owned restaurant. The people behind the counter are kind and really want to please their customers. Give them a try!! You won't be sorry. And, because their prices are so reasonable, you can afford to eat there often!!

This is the place for consistent, delicious pho. The owners take so much pride in making sure your experience with the food and customer service is flawless. The ingredients are always fresh--meat, bean sprouts, basil, and jalapeno peppers. The egg rolls are made to order. It does take a little longer, but they're always hot and fresh. I come here at least two-three times a week and after they noticed I pulled out the yellow onions, they asked me if I did not want the yellow onions. :) The restaurant is always clean and the condiment bottles are always clean (I hate when the bottles are greasy and the tops have crud on them). To top it off--they offer complimentary dessert.
