Why 5 stars? Because there's a reason they have some of the best reviews in Wenatchee. --- --- --- You know how when you go on vacation, there are those unsung, and unexpected moments that you stumble upon, wishing that time would just stop? There's this crazy sense of urgency where I'll find the ultimate moment of zen, that's both perfect and stressful at the same time. The stress comes from the realization that the moment will soon be over, and the perfect-ness will be just a memory. Do I take a bunch of pictures/video, or do I just try to maximize every second of enjoyment and keep my phone in my pocket? While sitting on the front patio of Wild Huckelberry, during a cloud-less, 65 degree morning, overlooking the mountains... this was my debate. I opted to take food pictures (because, obviously) but to enjoy the moment distraction-free, outside of that. For locals, or residents of the west coast, maybe that kind of scenery is common place. But for a native Texan and current Floridian, I look at mountains like they're winning Powerball tickets. Give me all the mountains! As for Wild Huckleberry itself, the service was incredibly friendly and prompt. And our breakfast was delicious. I was in the mood for a good ole' face-stuffin', so I opted to try the small California eggs benedict, as well as the cinnamon bread french toast. The french toast was solid, but that benedict was one of the best I've ever had. If I could change one thing, it would be an espresso machine swapping out the traditional coffee pot. So much caffeine has gone through my veins that the Folgers in my cup doesn't exactly do the trick these days. And then there's always the awkward cup refill as soon as you've achieved the perfect coffee : cream/sugar ratio.

On a Sunday in a town you're visiting it's always a treat to discover the local best brunch spot. This is definitely it for Wenatchee. Pancakes are huge, eggs and sides are delicious, and everything tastes healthy. The food is clean, little butter and not greasy at all. Service is timely and friendly. Whatever you order here you'll love.

Awesome service! Wait time was 5mins even with a packed house! Pancakes take up your whole plate! Beware! (Literally.. It was hanging off my plate! People were gawking!) I had chicken fried steak & boyfriend had biscuits & gravy. No complaints here! Don't do the generic restaurants for breakfast (ahem smittys) Drive a little further down the road to huckleberry. We were in town from Seattle (camping re: sunlakes) & we will be back next camp trip for sure.

I recently took my niece here but have been driving past it for years but never stopping. Finally had a chance and it was worth it. I felt like I was in Seattle which is a good thing when visiting this territory. The food was AWESOME!!! I got the Veggie California Eggs Benedict and it was so GOOD. I cant wait to come to Wenatchee just to eat at the Wild Huckleberry!! I highly recommend this place. Cheers!!

We are so happy that Yelp reviewers did not lead us astray! My husband and I were looking for a good place to brunch (and did not want to go to Denny's that was near our hotel) and found this wonderful place. I had the best eggs Benedict, the Blackstone. Even the water served at the table was good. You can tell the details are important to the owner. Thank you!

Sunday morning in Wenatchee! I arrived around 10, we had to wait for about 10 minutes and were seated. The menu is 90% full of unhealthy foods, but I did find something healthy, the gold's gym omelette; veggies and eggbeaters with side of fruit. Average pretty much sums it up. The service was mildly slow, but they were busy so I don't blame the staff rather the management for staff shortage. Inside feels dirty, like an old house is dirty. There are toys and candy all over the front waiting area, probably great for distracting kiddos. Might return if I'm craving something unhealthy. Decent place.

Okay.... My boyfriend and I are HUGE breakfast fans and this place absolutely blew us away. I would talk about the incredible service, reasonable prices, and adorable restaurant itself, but that's not what's most important here. The chef/s in the back room are angels sent from above to bless our taste buds with amazing quality and HUGE portions of food. I had the country breakfast with French toast (to die for) with bacon and eggs(awesome), and he had the pancakes (thick and fluffy and gigantic portions.... I think the hulk would even struggle to finish) with bacon and sausage (equally as awesome). Overall a wonderful experience and a highlight of our wenatchee stay. Will be back anytime we get the chance!!!

Great service! Our coffee was always full:). Food was amazing! My daughter got a cinnamon roll it was huge and delicious! My husband had pancakes and German sausage and I had chicken fried steak and hash browns generous portions and tasty:). Fruit plate for the baby was good variety and all fresh. My 6 year old ordered chocolate milk it came with whip cream and a cool straw he was happy:). They have toys and games for the kids you can bring to the table also which is really a nice feature.

This was the third time I had visited the Wild Huckleberry. Each time the servers were professional but friendly, they seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The food was friggin boss. I would recommend this to any one who has ever had breakfast OR the desire to have breakfast. Best breakfast in the valley that I've had yet. The cinnimon roll was bananas...

Such a cute cozy breakfast/lunch spot! It used to be a house converted into a restaurant, so you definitely get that homey feeling when you walk in. Before I made the trek back to Seattle, my friend and I had breakfast here. I ordered the granny smith omelet with a biscuit and gravy and my friend had the eggs benedict with hash browns. My omelet had bits of apples, sausage, green peppers, mushroom, onions, and cheese. The omelet was a bit bland, but after a little salt and pepper, it tasted better. Biscuits were buttery and the gravy was good. My friend really enjoyed his benedict on a biscuit, not english muffin, and huge portion of hash. I saw other patrons order pancakes and OMG they were huge! Two pancakes that covered and went over the side of the plate. We ended up ordering a pancake to go to drop off for my friend at work. Since the pancake had to fit in the box, the waitress informed us they would have to make it smaller, so it'll be two pancakes for only $3. Although I wasn't won over by the food, service was great and I just love the charm and feel of the restaurant. Parking is either on the street or in their lot across the street.

Best place I have ever been for breakfast. I don't remember exactly what I ate, but we all sampled each others plates and everything was delicious. The wait staff was overly friendly, and I like the fact that they serve alcohol...I've been there for lunch as well and it's nice to be able to grab a beer with lunch!

I've been here a couple times, the food is hot, the prices are fair, the service is quick and the staff is very friendly! The Cali style Eggs Benny is the da-bomb! A great dining establishment where tourists and locals mingle. Sadly we missed their Cajun delight menu, served Tuesday through Saturday 5-8pm.

Amazing breakfast place. Highly recommend if your looking for that home cooked, home town breakfast. Lots of options and nobody in our group was disappointed. Service is great but be prepared for it to be busy prime time on weekends. It's popular as it should be. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to parking. That can be tricky. But don't let that hold you back. Go....

My husband and I went to the Wild Huckleberry (Huck Finn's) a few weeks ago to try the Cajun menu. We've gone there for breakfast for several years and found it to be wonderful, in fact thought it the best breakfast in town. Not so the Cajun food. We both had Seafood Gumbo and it was beyond horrible and I would rate it the worst dinner ever. My husband managed to get his down but I couldn't eat mine. The oysters were almost cold, huge and slimy....absolutely not a trace of smoked sausage and the crab was just tiny shreds. I immediately wrote them a letter that night but never received a reply.........I hate giving anyone a review like this but since they didn't have the courtesy to respond to my letter I decided to go ahead and warn the rest of the community.

Came in for the first time on a Saturday mid morning but was seated immediately. The place was pretty full but parking was easy to find. The coffee was fairly typical restaurant coffee but a little higher quality and better flavor than a typical house brew. My cup never got more than half empty the entire time we were there. I ordered a bacon cheddar omelet with a side of pancakes. My wife ordered two eggs and pancakes. Little did we know what we had done! The food came out hot and prepared well. My omelet was not oily or greasy even though it had ample cheese in it. My wife's eggs were prepared exactly as she requested. Here is the kicker! The pancakes were HUGE!!!! And not just one pancake but two! I had to take a picture. Lol. The server recommended eating them from the center so the syrup and butter would stay on the plate. It was a wise suggestion. Lol. I managed to eat about a four inch circle before I was too stuffed to eat more. My wife didn't do that well! Service was excellent, friendly, prompt and helpful. While this place could easily develop a snobby attitude considering their bistro like environment and excellent food, it feels more like a homey, down to earth place. Prices are very reasonable and we are looking forward to visiting again soon!

Fell in love with the charming décor, friendly service and most importantly - the phenomenal food! Since we had our pups with us, we sat outside. The outside seating is basically the front stoop of the restaurant, which is a renovated house. I wanted just about everything on the menu, but decided on a small California eggs benedict w/hash browns and a Belgian waffle. The hollandaise sauce on the Benedict was to die for! And the waffle was cooked to perfection! The place was super busy on a Sunday morning but there was no skimping on the service. Something I thought was really cool was there are ~22 lotions & body sprays in the women's bathroom you can use. For a second, I thought I had stepped inside of a Bath & Bodyworks shop! Bottom line, go here for brunch! I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town!

We always enjoy a breakfast at this charming place while on vacation in Wenatchee twice a year. Always great friendly service and good food. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great breakfast. We only ate lunch there once a few years back. it was okay much preferred their yummy breakfasts. Had a taste of our grandsons cinnamon roll-awesome !!!!!!

Great food. Quick service. Wonderful ambiance created by the quaint old house tastefully converted to a restaurant. I know where I'll be starting my days when I'm visiting Wenatchee. I had the Granny Smith Omelet, dad and daughter had french toast. All was above expectations.

  • Nicole E.

Breakfast this morning was delicious. We sat outside on the porch which was a bit loud because of traffic, but still a great view. Our server was friendly and accommodating. My french toast was perfect and everyone around me loved their breakfast. The only thing I'd note is that service is a bit slow so make sure you're there for a leisurely breakfast and not on your way to a meeting.

Eating here is a quaint essential - but I didn't know about this warm homey little place until just a week ago. My daughter's boyfriend found this place the day after our Thanksgiving feast! He found this place called "Wild Huckleberry" and invited those of the family that were able to go out to breakfast with he and my daughter. Along with the delicious coffee, I had the Veggie Eggs Benedict and not only was it spectacular tasting but boy did it ever hit the spot. Someone else had the waffles, someone had the pancake, someone else had the hash browns and every one thought they had had another feast. I am convinced that no matter what you have you will be throughly delighted and I can not wait until next time.

I came into the restaurant 20 minutes before closing. I was met by two cheery women sweeping the restaurant who assured me that they had all of the time in the world to serve me. It was helpful that I had researched the menu to know that I wanted seafood Benedict. I wasn't disappointed. And the hashbrowns were the best i've had as if they were cooked in butter. I think it was the best seafood Benedict I have ever had in my life. The restaurant is a quaint and charming house with a small boutique below. The Wild Huckleberry will be a must stop for my next trip through Wenatchee.

A nice spot to stop at on the way back home from a weekend getaway. Wild Huckleberry is a charming house restaurant with sweeter-than-ever waitresses. LOTS of food here. 11 bucks goes a long way. I ordered the omelet, which came with toast/pancakes/biscuits & gravy. Chose Biscuits and was not disappointed. The Ranchero omelet on the other hand was a sad little thing. Shredded chicken that had lost all juiciness and tasted like leftover meat from a couple days prior. Had to drench it in salsa. Also, hardly any cheese which is my favorite thing about omelets! That said - the pancakes that my boyfriend ordered made up for it. HUGE (pretty much the size of my laptop... and they brought TWO. We couldn't even finish the first one. But man it was TASTY! Worth a stop for sure.

This is the best breakfast place we have ever been to. The service is wonderful and the food is amazing. The cinnamon French toast is to die for. This is a destination for us every time we are in town. Perfection, really!

I went for the first time last week with my husband and a few friends. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great. The waitress (despite what she said later) was not accurate in estimating the size of the pancakes. They were larger than the plate! The service was great though. Prompt drink refreshers, friendly, and informative (other than the pancake size) The biscuits and gravy were fabulous. Husband and I took some home and they even reheated well. I was impressed. Overall, my new favorite place for breakfast. One thing bugged me though. The menu. They use Papyrus or a typeface very similar and that alone made me want to shut it and not bother. I hate that typeface because it has a cheesy-faux "we're earthy and eco-friendly and cool" feel too it and it's used all over the valley. I expected a classier look for the menu of such a great place.

Took my wife here for lunch on her birthday. I had the fish & chips lunch special... delicious. She had the bacon & cheese omelet... also delicious, so she says. We ate outside which was nice too. Friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent breakfasts! Love the eggs benedict, omelettes, and pancakes. Also a fairly kid-friendly place to eat.

In the old part of town, in an old craftsman styled house the servers here are friendly. My girl's vegetable omelet had an identity crisis between being Mexican or American and a strange dash of garlic. Either go fresh and healthy up the middle or bring on the Southwest. My Eggs Benedict California style with avocado and ham was solid. The traditional eggs benny strangely had bacon, not Canadian bacon. We both liked the hash browns. For $10 bucks a plate, you gotta get it right on both plates but they only met us half way.

Wow. I came here with some cranky breakfast pros. They were hesitant because it was a house and empty, that's what you get at the crack of dawn on a Monday. The grumpy pants were seated with me, unfortunately, and ordered breakfast and coffee. This place has classy music, its awesome and makes me think I need to dress in a different era next time I go. We got our food. Sweet trident of Poseidon, it was good. I got 2 peices of crisoy bacon, I didn't even have to ask, eggs, and amazing hasbrowns. I mean, none of those oil'd up potatos..they were perfect and crispy. They also know how to poach an egg, I know that's why your reading this. Go here, if your from Seattle, its the best. Stop looking for a Panera, we haven't been blessed with one I'm the valley yet, go here. Go now. Also, they're better than Panera so stop rolling your eyes. So yeah, best breakfast place ever, awesome hasbrowns..that's about it.

So glad we found Wild Huckleberry for breakfast. All the reviews lived up to what we got. I had bacon (4 pieces), eggs, hash browns and side of biscuits n gravy. My wife shared her sausage links (4 pieces), and pancakes withe out two kids. The photo of the pancakes don't do justice. A regular order came with two ginormous buttermilk pancakes which had to be about 12" wide each! Great service and food came out fast!

We had a great breakfast here. Excellent food and service. Some unusual menu items including vegetarian eggs benedict.

  • Jessica M.

This place was charming! The staff was friendly, the food was excellent! It came out fast (perfect because we were hungry) There were a few vegetarian options listed on the menu and the soup of the day was veggie chili (tasty) The only downside to me was the parking.. we actually lucked out with a close spot on the street.. but I can tell it would be an issue at prime time!

  • Julie D.

This place was everything you would think of when you hear its name. It is several rooms of an old Victorian home. Well laid out so the tables are not on top of each other, with charming windows and a great fireplace. The food was excellent, with menu choices for every taste and appetite. I had a pancake and small eggs Benedict, and my friend had eggs Benedict made with a tomato instead of ham. Neither of us could finish our food. The coffee was better than average, as was the service. Prompt and friendly.

Great Breakfast! Can't wait to try your new dinner menu. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly and quick to serve.

Had Sunday brunch with my wife and two kids. Ordered cinnamon roll, classic Benedict, bacon and cheese omelette, and cinnamon french toast. Every dish we had was in the opinion of the person who ordered "the best ever". Ambiance is great, in a converted old house. We will eat here again whenever we are in Wenatchee.

  • Susan S.

As delicious as the other reviews suggest. A nice perk for vegetarians is the veggie eggs Benedict, which are a rare find! The pancakes are easily a foot in diameter, and other portions are equally generous. Extremely friendly service.

Hands down the best breakfast place in Wenatchee. I have tried many things from the breakfast menu and always been more than satisfied. They also offer lunch menu, but I've never ordered off of it, My husband has and he's always been pleased. Great food done right!

Me and my family had breakfast for the first time at this restaurant. I found it by going to yelp, and I am glad I did. They specialise in breakfast and brunch, and do not dissapoint. Expect to pay around $11-$14 per person for breakfast, which to me is a tad on the high side for breakfast, but the value is still there given the quality of food. I ordered their chicken fried steak, as did one other family member, and it was probably the best one I have ever had anywhere. There is something in the breading they use that gives it a deep flavor, and the meat was so tender it cuts with a fork easily. Their hash browns are very buttery and crisp, the only down side was the eggs. I ordered mine sunny side up, and they arrived perfectly so, but they had little to no flavor. A restaurant like this that mainly does breakfast, should source out some better eggs. I could not imagine an omelette using those eggs, probably would of been pretty bland. If they could fix just the eggs, this place is a gold mine. Wait staff are speedy, curteous, and take your order without writing it down. The place had maybe 5 tables filled, we recieved our breakfast in roughly 20 minutes. Their portions are LARGE, so come hungry, if you leave this place hungry something is wrong lol.

Wenatchee's best breakfast location. Absolutely love the care that is put into the food here. Suggest the French toast and Omelets, both of which are fantastic. It gets a bit busy on the weekends, but we've never had to wait. Altogether, one of the best in the valley. Highly recommended.

So good! Granny Smith apple/ sausage omelette strangely worked well together in an omelette. LARGE portions. Beautiful fruit tray. Perfect bacon--not too crispy or soggy. A lot of seating, so you don't have to wait forever. Really reasonably priced. Nice outdoor area with views of the foothills. Great for high energy kids. Highly recommend!

I had the blueberry pancake. I could not believe how big it was. The largest pancake I have eaten in my life. It was a man vs. Pancake moment. Since it was a sunny day out I sat on the porch and enjoyed the view of the constant flow of traffic, maybe that's the New Yorker in me that thrives on lots of hustle bustle. My server Judy was the BEST! Very quick to greet me and seat me. She checked on me quite a few times and if I said yes each time , I could have easily consumed 5 pots of coffee. Super friendly. I had an English muffin, blueberry pancake, and coffee and without the tip it was only $8.94 what a bargain. I absolutely plan to return on my next trip to Wenatchee.

Amazing! Peefectly cooked eggs! Ridiculous amount of food. Homey. Highly recommend. gravy might be from a can... but it's not the worst I've ever had. Best place in town. Cute gift shop below and 10 percent off with restaurant purchase. Friendly staff too! We will be back!

Great breakfast and brunch place. I had never been there so my parents and husband stopped by for Sunday brunch. Yum! Space is tight in there so beware. We had a small wait for seating and the wait for the kitchen was a fair bit of a wait for the food. But my goodness! Don't be surprised by the huuuuuuge pancakes if you get them, even as a side.

  • James H.

Amazing food and service. The food portions are huge. The buttermilk pancake came out the size of a hubcap. Quaint atmosphere. Could not recommend more.

Was there again and it was even better! One of the waitstaff turned around real fast and spilled a pitcher of water on my brother! That was a 10!! Never laughed so hard in my life! Wanted to give her money but she would not take it. The manager came over and apologized, the owner came over and the server kept saying sorry! They bought him breakfast. The food again was perfect! Everything was cooked to perfection and was a big portion at a fair price. Please keep up the good work. And go there if you are in Wenetchee. Sunday might be a wait but is worth the wait. dane

If you like the Huckleberry, you will love Huck Finns. Eric and Angie are bringing a little taste of the south to their Wenatchee restaurant. With plans to open in early April they will be serving dinners of crawfish étouffée , blackened pork chops with Cajun seasoning and mushroom cream sauce, Parmesan crusted catfish and much more. For desert there is creme brûlée, peach cobbler, amazing pecan pie and bayou bread pudding. Don't forget to order a bag of beignets! We were fortunate to have the opportunity to sample the menu recently and were satisfied beyond our greatest expectations! It seem this couple have done it again! What a treat!

Yum Yum YUM is all I really need to say! Among us we had the blueberry pancake (yes, you only need one), an omelet, the hash browns omelet, and the veggie foccacia. By the end of our meal every plate was clean. The food here really is top notch. We had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was WELL worth it.

Wild Huckleberry is a solid breakfast choice in Wenatchee. We waited about 20 minutes for a table on a Sunday morning. They are doing a lot of things right but could use a little work on a couple items. First the good: They offer several "lighter appetite" options which my Mom and I both took advantage of. My Eggs Benedict had one English muffin and one poached egg and a side of hash browns instead of the 2 muffin halfs and 2 eggs. This was perfect for me as I usually only eat one half of the Eggs Benedict when I get a full order. The smaller order was $7.50 I believe. My Mom enjoyed her french toast and my Dad liked his oatmeal with the fixings, including huckleberries. Some suggestions: With huckleberry being the name of the restaurant you would expect some of the menu items to include huckleberries- especially when they are in season. Not one item on the menu mentioned huckleberries. We found this very strange. We asked if they were available and the server said yes. They should print "huckleberries available when in season" or at least have the servers tell the customers about the berries being an option. If we hadn't asked we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the huckleberries! With their name being Wild Huckleberry I think they should make the berries a selling point. The coffee was weak and not very tasty. Good coffee is important to me when going out to breakfast. Service was fine but a little slow. Seems they could use one more person in the busy breakfast time. Overall, a pretty good bet for the area I think. I'd go back when in Wenatachee.

A treasure in downtown Wenatchee! As we were just passing through, I had to Yelp to find a yummy breakfast place for Sunday morning - and this place certainly delievered on its high rating. Loved the location - a very cute house-turned-restaurant that allowed for a little bit of outdoor seating (good thing we were the first ones there when they opened - it filled up immediately). The staff was very welcoming; everyone was wearing a big friendly smile. Service was quick - and our food came out in no time. The food was out-of-this-world! I had the Hash Brown Omelet (no eggs) - and it was so delicious - more ingredients than 'filler' and I couldn't even come close to finishing it - probably because I made sure to have room for the baked-from-scratch biscuit served alongside it. Light, fluffy - heavenly. It was my 'dessert'. My friend had the "traditional" eggs Benedict (apparently in Wenatchee, bacon is the tradition!) and she raved about them for the better part of the day. I don't like Benedict sauce, so I'll take her word for it - it's her go-to dish when we go out to breakfast. Parking was very limited - there are a few spots in the lot, but the rest is fend-for-yourself street parking (not tough on a lazy Sunday morning, but consider yourself warned). A charming spot, a delicious, fresh, meal, and friendly and attentive staff make this a 5-star spot in my book. Thanks for the lovely breakfast.

This is one of our favorite places to go in Wenatchee! It's in a cozy house, the staff is great and they provide great customer service and the food is delicious! There was a 20 minute wait the last time we came on Sunday, but it was totally worth it! My husband ordered the cinnamon french toast, and I got the eggs Benedict- with the sauce on the side, but it was so delicious that I ended up pouring it all over anyway! Highly recommend this place for a great breakfast!

Came in for a weekday brunch, full but not busy. -- Food: Very fresh, portions were generous. Nothing on the menu that was very inventive but it was all fresh and cooked well. +1 Ambiance: Had a very country cottage, bed and breakfast thing going on. Not my style but things were nice and clean. Some tables on small deck in front, but opens to very busy street and wouldn't be terribly peaceful. +1 Service: Prompt feeding and taking of orders. +1 Convenience/Price: Huge meals for reasonable prices. Plenty of street parking out front. +1 Other Factors of Awesomeness: Nope. +0

Came here for breakfast early one weekend morning, just minutes after they opened. Nat King Cole playing, it was cozy! Had chicken fried steak with French toast, don't judge, it was very, very good!!!

Found this place through yelp. They really deserve their ratings, great food and service. If anyone ever passes through, you guys must try it. We had eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak, and the Belgium waffle. The syrup was warm and not overly sweet, I'm a fan and would definitely return to try the rest of their menu!

This is such a relaxing place to have breakfast in! The food is sooo delicious and the staff is amazing. Portions are pretty large so keep this in mind when you go! My favorite is the French Toast!!!! Yum!

Thanks to others reviews we decided to give it a try and so glad we did. Best chicken fries steak I've ever had! Delicious food, home style energy, and excellent service! You gotta try it for yourself.

I visited this charming place last June on the recommendation from a friend, who happens to be a local. I had the most positive experience here, and I hope others read my review and visit for the same experience. First of all, they have a menu that features many delicious items. Being a huge fan of eggs benedict, I was practically drooling over the many variations I was able to choose from. I was not at all disappointed with my selection -- California Eggs Benedict. We got fast, wonderful and friendly service and our food was served promptly. The price was well worth what I got and I will visit this place each time I'm in Wenatchee. Thank you!

Eggless Hash Brown Omelette was huge and delicious. It was swimming in gravy. Wish I could've finished it but I rarely have large appetite before 11 AM. I have read that this is the best breakfast place in town, and while I am not a huge breakfast person, I can see why. Service was impeccable - our cups of coffee were frequently filled and our serverwas so sweet and welcoming. It's located in a former house so that gave it some extra charm. I'd definitely come here again if I find myself looking for breakfast in Wenatchee.

Went in on a Saturday mid morning, we had about a 10 minute wait, not bad. Parking was a bit difficult, with only about four spots on the street and about the same behind the house. Although there is a small parking lot across the street. Took my three children there before heading up to Mission Ridge, skiing. Two kids had the cinnamon French toast, the smaller portion, it was a lot of food. I think only two pieces, cut into four, but they're thick! My son had the soup and salad, potato soup was really good. I had the blueberry pancake, we all had to laugh, it was the size of a medium pizza! Everything was really good, service, food, all great! This will be a great spot to stop before a day of skiing!

i love wild huckleberry restaurant. i have been here twice recently for brunch and loved it both times. i will for sure be coming back. the service was fantastic, workers were so friendly. it was really clean, and the decorative house was comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast ! Rebecca served us and did a stellar job making sure out coffee and water were never empty, as well as being incredibly kind. A very charming breakfast place, Wild Huckleberry was packed but we got seated immediately. The eggs Benedict were TO DIE FOR and I cleaned my plate. I also tried some of my friends pancake and they were just as delicious, just a warning though they are gigantic ! The four of us could have comfortably split one. Overall this place was a perfect breakfast and completely worth the 25 minute drive from Leavenworth where we were staying.

Every time I go the Wild Huckleberry I get prompt friendly service. The food is always great and they offer a better variety than your standard breakfast joint (including many variations of eggs benedict: seafood, california, etc.) There is a wait during prime breakfast times, but I've never waited more than 20 minutes. Other good things about this restaurant is the available outdoor seating, flavored coffee creamer (vanilla and hazelnut, yay!), and the pricing is very reasonable and very close to the more blah and regular breakfast places (great food same price). So if you want good service, a homey environment, and great food check out the Wild Huckleberry.

Excellent cozy place for weekend brunch. Great variety of breakfast comfort foods. I had the seafood eggs benedict which was perfect. Go there early on the weekend to avoid the long wait.

We came here on labor day and the place was slammed. It took us about 20 min to be seated -- not so bad -- but there were plenty of open tables on the porch. Once seated it took us about hour from ordering to getting served. I account this to the busy holiday weekend? I had to go with my third choice on the menu because a couple of the things I ordered were sold out. It seemed like a cute place with pretty decent food -- so I would give it a second chance.

Normally, I really dislike breakfast joints. It's always something: too greasy, too low quality, too loud, too corporate, etc. I wasn't feeling overly optimistic this go-round either as I began to surface into consciousness about the time my dining companion parked the car in the dirt-lot ruins of some building now serving as annex parking. But my disposition quickly improved upon entering as a cheery server greeted us and led us to any table we desired. Coffee and OJ were in front of us faster than the laws of physics typically allow, and a few sips later the ambiance of this converted house begin to take over. It really is pleasant inside, and if you get a chance (and it's a bit cold out), sit in the front room by the converted fireplace. I love that they kept the handcrafted moldings, built-in cabinets, and hardwood floors. I start paying attention again as our server is topping off my coffee and taking our orders. That coffee cup never did empty. Then comes the food. I can't believe my dining companion is going to try and finish two of those huge pancakes (I helped a little - just the right fluffiness, with a good sweet/salty balance). I personally am downing the sausage/apple omelet, enjoying the perfectly cooked eggs, right amount of cheese (I really hate it too much cheese), and wonderful balance of flavors that apples and sausage bring. All right - days lookin' up! Off to the slopes. Wonder if I can convince them to move the restaurant over to Seattle?

The Wild Huckleberry was a very cute little restaurant. The menu was a little bit confusing to read - we ordered biscuits and gravy and the way it's laid out on the menu it looks like it says that you can include a side with it, so my b/f also ordered French Toast and we were charged for the 2 separate meals. Our mistake, but menu should make that more clear. I ordered the ham & cheese omelet and it was delightful. I think our favorite was the french toast. We will definitely go back while we are in the area.

Good breakfast spot. We read all the reviews and found that people like the benedict's. That's what my wife and son had and they loved them. I had the golds gym omelet and loved it. My two youngest had the biscuits and gravy, they weren't as satisfied, " mom and dads homemade biscuits and gravy is better". Over all a pleasant experience, we would come again. Cute old house, it was surprisingly busy on a Monday morning. Always a good sign!:-D

Holy smokes, this place was fantastic! We ate on the front porch in the sunshine. My husband's Eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection and the cinnamon bread French toast was divine. All servers were friendly and informative, not only about the food but the town of Wenatchee. I would put this place on your "To Eat" list!

My wife is an eggs benedict fiend. So when looking for a place to eat on our way from Lake Stevens to Bridgeport, I saw the reviews for Wild Huckleberry. We were not disappointed. The key is the hollandaise sauce. It is pretty close to perfect. We ordered one California Benedict and one Blackstone, then we split each one. Both were very good. Good service and great food. My wife recommended we make the trip over the mountains once a month to eat here, and I think she may be on to something!

We went to the Wild Huckleberry this past Sunday morning for brunch while we were in town for a baseball tournament. It was about 11:30 and we had to wait for about 15-20 minutes, so not too bad. We were a little nervous to try a new atmosphere because our 11 year old is developmentally disabled and can make some noise, so we usually stick to loud places like Red Robin when going out as a family. The atmosphere here was very nice and worked for us well. The tables weren't too close together and it was loud enough that his noises didn't seem to bother anyone. I ordered the Seafood Eggs Benedict and it was absolutely amazing!!! Everything was cooked perfectly and the portion was just right. My husband and older son had the HCM omelette which came with two HUGE pancakes and our 11 year old got the belgian waffle with the strawberries and whipped cream which he devoured! We all enjoyed it very much and will definitely be going back when we are back for next year's tournament! The only downside we saw was that there is pretty limited parking.

Great local restaurant in an old home. The service was wonderful. We stayed right up until closing time and they never once tried to give us the boot. Serves breakfast until 3pm. The menu is bursting at the seams with classics such as Eggs Benedict, French Toast, clam chowder, fish n' chips. You can bring just about any one here and they would find something to enjoy.

We were in Wenatchee for the week-end and had breakfast/brunch here both days. Everything we had was excellent, and they even ask how you want your poached eggs done - and do it that way! The only place for improvement is the coffee - a little weak. Service was very good, and the dining room very pleasant. We had no trouble with parking.

I Love the Wild Huckleberry. Attentive service and fantastic food, especially breakfast. I held back on the 5th star as lunch and dinner don't offer too much for the vegetarian. Not a big deal for most, but important to me!

In town for a conference with 4 others and took to yelp for a good breakfast spot. Couldn't be happier with our choice. Great food, great coffee, and the staff was top notch. Can't wait to go back when we're in town next.

Lovely little restaurant in an old home. Look high because you might drive right by! It's like walking into someone's home - not a lot of space but classy because of the old wood in the house. Lots of locals frequent Wild Huckleberry which was nice to see and hear the tables talking amongst each other. Breakfast was awesome. Pancakes the size of your head! I had California Eggs Bene and it was amazing. Also the best hashbrowns I've had in a long time!!! We all enjoyed our food very much - this coming from a group of people who aren't shy to send things back! I also loved that they were very attentive to the coffee and keeping it full! I can't wait to try it again!!!

I just recently discovered the Wild Huckleberry and it is my FAVORITE breakfast location. They have great lunch too. But their breakfast is absolutely out of this world good. Their eggs and bacon and sausage are all cooked to absolute perfection every time with the best tastes. I never want to stop eating. The pancakes are gigantic and they look amazing although I've never tried them. Their scrambles are delicious as well. For lunch I would recommend and of the sandwiches and the fries are all beer battered I think and they are absolutely delicious! Amazing quality of food! The restaurant is an old house that has been transformed, and the interior is very comfortable and homey yet classy. They always have fresh flowers picked for each table. It has a lovely vintage style, and the staff is always extra friendly and so eager to meet each of your needs. I am sad that I didn't discover this amazing place sooner!

Great atmosphere, but hit-or-miss on the service front. Everyone is always very friendly, and orders are taken promptly, but the food often takes waaayyyy too long to come out. Over-all, good food for good prices; the only thing that distinguishes it from from places like Smitty's or Sassy's is ambiance. I definitely come here for the atmosphere.

I must say that breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out full stop. I am also very picky about they way the meal is cooked. The humble egg is one of them. My two test of egg cookery are the basted egg and the scrambled egg. In all my visits here they have done both well. Hash Browns are another one. Most of the time they get them right for me. This is one reason I keep coming back. With one exception every meal that my wife and I have had here as been a good. The one exception was french toast that my wife had. The issue with it was the custard was only on the surface and did not saturate the slice of bread. That said with just one miss in all the times we have gone .... It can be very loud inside, this does not bother me very much. Service is runs good to excellent . ( disclaimer my wife says I am more forgiving when I like a place) in this case I think I am being accurate. I have found it best to get there early. ( Update) over father's day weekend we took my Father-law out for breakfast. My wife gave the french toast another shot and it was much improved she says 4.5 stars. ( End Update)

Nice ambiance in an unassuming little place you'd easily miss if you weren't looking for it. We had the veggie eggs benedict and a California omelet. The eggs benedict were very tasty, though they could have been a little more generous with the hollandaise, and hash browns were a little undercooked for my taste. But those are nitpicks: good food, no doubt about it, and recommended.

My husband and I ate here for breakfast on the drive into Seattle while on vacation. The reviews were good and I loved the idea of it being in a historical restored home. It was the first time I had ever tried eggs benedict (I got the California version) and it was AMAZING! I know I'm not able to compare it to others since this was my first time trying it but it was SO good. The only thing some might not like was the first egg was not runny but I still liked it. The service is great too, we were constantly asked if we wanted refills on our coffee and each table has fresh cut flowers! I also loved that this was the only place we had been to on vacation in four different towns in the area that didn't have tacky decor and country music playing but instead had big band music playing. The bathrooms are also nice and have Bath & Body Works soap and lotion. We loved this place so much we went back a second time! I tried the French toast and fruit plate that time and again, AMAZING! Huge slices of fruit and even though I got a half order there were two huge slices of French toast! I'll definitely miss this place!

Great breakfast and even better while sitting on the front porch enjoying a summer Saturday morning. I had country breakfast with eggs, german sausage, and french toast; wife had country breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. OJ was nothing special, but everything else was great. Would go back again definately!

  • Bridget S.

Cute little restaurant, the waitress was nice. The food took a while, but they were very busy. It was all good, and I'm guessing it's probably the best breakfast in Wenatchee, but I've definitely had better. My son had the ham, which he loved. I had biscuits and gravy. They were both fine, but the gravy, while it was fresh and homemade, could have used more oomph. Good southern biscuit gravy is peppery. This wasn't. My husband didn't care for the hash browns at all. He thought they were greasy, and didn't taste fresh cut. I didn't think they were terrific, but I didn't dislike them. It's a nice place to go for breakfast, and the food is o.k., with generous portions, but maybe because we have a local breakfast place that IS a WOW, we just weren't WOWed.

What a charming little jem nested in the heart of Wenatchee. The most delicious breakfast we have had in a very long time! Three meals - three fantastic choices. Eggs Benedict, veggie omelette and a hashbrowns omelette! We left delightfully full and satisfied. Make this a definite stop when visiting Wenatchee!!!

I travel for work all the time and this is going down in the history books. I loved it. They have captured such a cute aptomisphere and great tastes. I had the veggie sanswitch which was to die for!! And the sweet potatoe fries! So wonderful!

This place was a let down. We ordered 5 different dishes between our table and non of them were amazing but they were all edible and definitely not terrible. The eggs Benedict came with a really poor selection of veggies that were barely cooked, the Benedict sauce was pretty flavorless, the egg yolk was hard and dry, and the eng muffin was soggy. I would never order it again. The burger wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I'd prefer a burger from EZs down the road. The pancakes were HUGE though and you cant get pancakes wrong. The interior decor is really cute, lots of woodwork going on and the server was really nice. It's a middle of the road restaurant with lots of standard American menu options. With all this Ive written....we did walk in at the end of the day....about 40 min before they closed. We may have had an unusual experience and I'd be willing to go back and give it another shot and see what I think. When I do...Ill update this or write another one...however that works.

This is an adorable place in a converted house. Cute decor, clean and mostly comfy. (Some of the benches and chairs are wood and not too comfortable). Delicious breakfast items although I'd like to see more berry options on the menu given the name of the place. Prompt and friendly service, and no rushing you if you linger over your beverage after your meal is done. Never have trouble finding parking nearby. Nice place to take family.

My favorite breakfast place in Wenatchee. I like sitting on the porch on nice days, especially on weekend mornings. My hubby loves the Eggs Benedict. I love the french toast. The chicken fried is really good. I also love lunch here. They have a terrific vegetable sandwich on a roll that I've never seen on a menu and I love it. They serve breakfast at lunch too. Our young son likes it here too. They have little toys to pick out and bring to the table. Come early though for breakfast on weekends they get packed early, and holidays are not a good time to go. Too popular!

We were on our way home from vacation in Washington and found this place on yelp. DELICIOUS!! I don't know what the person was talking about that said the gravy was from a can... My brother got gravy on his breakfast and there were nice chunks of sausage in there. Yum! 2 of us got different types of eggs benedict, and they were cooked to perfection. My boyfriend got the German omelet something or other. It has green apples, german sausage and swiss cheese; what a fabulous flavor combo! (Yes, I like to sneak bites in from other peoples' plates!!) I got the veggie EB which wasn't the run o the mill avo, spinach and tomato -which, I usually love, don't get me wrong- but this had zucchini, tomato, and other cut veggies with a fabulous garlic spread surprise on the biscuit! I LOVE GARLIC! We couldn't even complain about the coffee (the woman made it fresh. Said she didn't like to leave it burning in the pot!) As for the place itself, it looks like a house, it feels homey, and the service was great! The other reviewer was right about the bathrooms too! Nicely done, and ladies, there's tons of wonderful smelling lotions and sprays... Guys, not so much (I asked my boyfriend if they had anything that smelled nice for them, no such luck). It was a bit further off the highway than most people traveling home would want to go, but it's worth the 3-5 minutes!! If we're ever back in the are, we're definitely stopping by again!!

Great place for breakfast. You have to go up alot of stairs in the front, however, there is handicapped access in the back. I had blueberry pancakes and they were huge pancakes as well as the blueberries. When we are in wentachee in our travels this is definitely a repeat. Great coffee, and a feel that you are in your hometown!

The Wild Huckleberry is small, cozy, intimate little diner. It feels much like you are eating in someone's home. The decoration is quaint in purples and greens. The food is good. Nothing that really stands out, but all well done. To sum up this restaurant, I would say this would be a wonderful place to take your grandma to eat. Or for 2 grandmas or aunts to go out to eat. A nice place for older ladies to sit and enjoy a nice meal (I hear breakfast is the best) and have a nice conversation over tea.

We had a late Saturday morning breakfast- it was fabulous. My wife is quite picky and she loved her Eggs Benedict, especially since it included hash browns (which she commented were perfectly cooked). I had the Hash Brown Omelet. I was one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had. The service was excellent. Highly recommended.

I was in town on business and the Wild Huckleberry was recommended and touted as the "Best" breakfast in town. After reading some of the great reviews of the Wild Huckleberry, I couldn't wait to have breakfast this morning. The setting is very quaint and homey feeling. The service was very good. I thought the food was average, but it could have been outstanding. The coffee was very good. I ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict. The eggs were way overcooked and there was not enough Hollandaise sauce. There was no running of the yoke, which is what makes EB so great. I also ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were ok, but the gravy was obviously out of a can or jar. In the end, the cook needs to waist a couple of dozen eggs and master poaching eggs. Also find a good recipe for homemade sausage gravy!!! Once again this is a decent place for breakfast, but with a little tweaking could be awesome. Sean G.

Visited for breakfast 2 days in a row while in town for my BIL's wedding. Excellent 3-cheese Primavera Omlette and California style eggs benedict and the fruit bowl had great variety and was cut fresh. The service was good and the waitress recognized us the 2nd day. Only thing that kept it from being 5 star was the food delivery was a bit slow and my husband was a little disappointed with his order of Biscuits and Gravy because the biscuits were pretty dry.

Great Breakfast spot, I am a huge fan of their eggs Benedict. I have to say I am not a huge fan of their omelets, but everyone likes their eggs cooked differently so perhaps I shouldn't complain! Wild Huckleberry feels homey and the staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. Kitchen could work on timing their dishes so group meals all come out together, but I would still prefer one at a time over cold eggs and here they are always hot without being overcooked, which isnt easy to do!

  • Meg L.

3.5 STARS - I feel a little bad giving 3 stars, but it feels dishonest to give 4. Allow me to explain: Our server was charming and sweet and attentive, the atmosphere was adorable and cozy and not crowded. It reminded me of a lovely tea house. The food on the other hand... well it was just ok. My egg was underdone-- not a big deal, but she did ask how done I wanted it and I said medium, so I assumed it would be medium, but it was very runny. My huge pancake was a little overdone, so it wasn't as moist and fluffy as it could have been. My partner had the french toast which was not bad, but not quite yummy either. The coffee, as has been noted before, was weak. And when I say weak, I mean I wondered if it was actually coffee. If you really like coffee, don't get the coffee, but if you are the kind of person who reuses a tea bag 4 times, go for it, you might like it. I want to give this place another try because I was so happy with the service and the atmosphere that it makes me think it just HAS to be better next time. I'll let you know.

Best breakfast in Wenatchee, hands-down -- served 'till 3 p.m. Pancakes are as big and fluffy as a dream. Gravy is made daily from scratch. They serve a small Seattle coffee brand and have real butter (unlike Shari's). Great portions and "real" atmosphere.
