Great place if you want a strong drink, but go somewhere else to eat! The crust on their pizza tastes like a frozen hockey puck.

Service is average. But what bothered me was they didnt serve my friend a drink because they said she looked drunk. She has a disability. But since then they have improved. Its walking distance on the hill. Drink prices are good and i wish i could give them more stars. Oh! and the pizza is awesome. I stop in every now and then. and always enjoy myself.

Upon entering the tiny, barely lit room (Restaurant and lounge is a generous description) blasting loud tuneless "rock" I was standing by the front counter for about five minutes. A mean feat considering that to be in the same building with the waitress & waiters they were within 30 feet of me at all times and able to see me above their playskoole sized booths that had a maximum height of about four feet. The crowd was pretty rough, but in a sauced, bitter , divorcee, working class way. By far the least threatening figures you would see on the road to Sturgis during the Black Hills Shindig. So yeah , me, my adventure seeking companion decided to seat ourselves. We spent ten minutes in a tiny booth watching the waitress completely ignore our waves. She did seem to hear us complain about the music because she coldly changed it from Franz Ferdinand while shooting us a dark look. Some waiters/bartenders ( the bar is about 20 ft from the entrance and 5 1/2 feet from our booth) pointedly gestured to our table, communicating the waitress get over here. No such luck. I was tapping my I.D. on the table- she could have been serving me a spendy mojito or two instead of laboring ( it took her ten minutes to get change for another table) over the possible tips from some miller lights. If she had showed any interest in getting me the alcohol required to not want to bathe in hand sanitizer after leaving I would have. However my eye on the clock showed our 20 minutes of waiting for terrible service was over. My 20 minute table wait limit was staunchly enforced when I realized some of the mature ladies wiggling over their miller light meal ticket were wearing a fragrance I usually only encounter at the DOL. Eu De meth. Skeezy. Maybe it was a fluke but it hardly seemed out of place there. As we made our hasty retreat and I realized that my buddy's city supplied coat did indicate he worked for the government with the big old chief Seattle emblem on it- perhaps that had something to do with their lack of service? As we left for our parking spot in their grass lot , we had to step over a big pile of vomit. I should mention the pizza we never had a chance to order looked okay. In fact it seemed pretty popular since everyone served in the bar ordered it including the mystery person who left it in a pile in the parking lot.

To Lisa T....sorry dear, I LOVE lemon. I have had lemon drops for years and this was the worse and most expensive I have ever had... funny that I tried to down play the negative and HELP the OS by recognizing the need for more patrons...but the shills keep showing up making me feel more like I was played from the start....hmmm

I always feel comfortable here when me and my wife want to come and just get buzzed, and dance to some karakoe type music. People are friendly and older. I hope they can keep it afloat as in my opinion it is needed in the neighborhood. It's close to our house and if I want to have a few too many I feel like I can. Stick with cocktails if your a real beer snob like me. Like this place!

Family owned, generous meal portions, cocktails are generous as well with just a splash of mixer. Neighborhood bar, friendly staff, the place has been here forever. Great place to hang out and get to know the locals.

My husband and I go here all the time. I'm an attorney and he's self-employed. The owner's son (now running the place) is very friendly and very nice. I don't know what all the razzing about the pizza is... I love their pizza -- lots of cheese and the crust is great. It is Greek, not Italian. Karaoke is a new thing he's been trying about every two months. Fun place for darts or just hanging out. They do not have much staff but its not that bad. Sometimes you have to signal the bartender. Its a SMALL old local place. If you want ambiance and fru-fru snob food stay away. But if you want a burger (they are yummy) or pizza or a beer and some fries, its great. The daily specials are pretty good too. A juke box, a dart board, some tvs. Lots of regulars. Reminds me of bars in the mid-west. Now if he'd get some chocolate dessert.... (Luv ya Nick.)

Stopped by this neighborhood bar after work for some food and drinks (made it on time for happy hours). I was pleasantly surprise on how thin my pizza turned out. It was perfect. Nick, the bartender made a kick-ass Irish coffee that stayed hot for 15 min. Met a couple of friendly people at the bar. This place seems like a low key place to kick back and pass the time with good friends.

This is the perfect "old school" neighbor hood restaurant and bar to go with a group of friends and watch a game or just have a noisy conversation or reunion. Great food. terrific drinks and an engaging staff made the night complete for our group of hard working women. We had a blast. Thanks Nick and Sage!

I love this place. I was in here for the first time a few months ago, and I have been in many many times since. First off, it is family owned for the last 31 years, which shows staying power, they are obviously doing something, or everything, right! The service is always good, and personal, which is great for a neighborhood bar. the food is also great, and for someone like me who is very sensitive to additives like msg, it is just the place. Everything is fresh. I have not been able to try their pizza as I am allergic to wheat also, but I hear they are the best. In response to whoever says the bartender does not make a good lemon drop, probably does not like the taste of a lemon - because he has no idea what he is talking about.....
