This was my first visit and the. Cuban sandwich was recommended and it held to its reputation. Crazy delicious! definitely will be coming back. Only reason I gave a 4 is because they messed up our group order and it took a bit to get it cleared up. In the end food was good.

Went for lunch and my Ruben was good along with the waffle fries. The other meals I saw looked pretty good. You order at the counter and your meal is brought to your table. We got there at the beginning of lunch and glad we did. It was a little long to get our lunch but will come back again.

After doing business at my credit union on two occasions recently, I stopped by nearby Galliano's for lunch. Me likes Galliano's Cucina. It gets fairly busy around noontime, but there are open tables. Actually, at Galliano's you order your meal, and if you are eating in, your food will be brought out (the soft drink bar is self-serve). And in my case, both times, my food was delivered by a beautiful Latina gal that was also tasked with taking orders and bussing tables for the entire restaurant. Her effectiveness is impressive. And all done with a smile! On my most recent visit, I ordered the daily soup - tomato basil. Oh boy, was it ever good! It had a delicious cheesy buttery slightly nutmeg flavor. Both times, I ordered the chicken scaloppine. In addition to the chicken and spaghetti-like pasta, the scaloppine comes with a lemon butter cream sauce, prosciutto, artichoke hearts, capers and mushrooms. On the side came a slice of an excellent garlic cheese bread. The first time I was here, I thought the scaloppine was a tad salty, but most recently, it was flawless. I plan on returning, and would recommend if you are in the Tukwila/Southcenter area, and are craving Italian, come here for a quick and good lunch (alas, they close at 3:00pm daily).

Waited over 20 minutes for house salad and soup of the day. And this is a restaurant where you go up to the counter and order and sit with a number in your table. How long does it take to bring me a cup of soup? There is only one soup! I shouldn't have tipped when I paid. Had to go ask for it. Salad was tiny but tasty. Tomato basil soup tasted like volka sauce. Wish I had some gluten free pasta to toss in it. Would be better as a sauce not a soup. Ice tea was good. Serve yourself with the chilled glass they hand you.

Good taste but for a restaurant like this should have better ingredients, location isn't very easy to get to. The manager isn't very pleasant. Easier to get a good sandwich else where.

My coworker and I came here for birthday lunch. We picked this place because 1) it's close to work and 2) it's kind in between our location and Renton. It feels like fast food restaurant because we came in and ordered and got seated ourselves. However, it's pretty slow due to short of staff in the kitchen. I had calamari and eggplant lasagna. I am really not a big fan of their calamari. It felt like it's straight from a frozen bag. However, I did like my eggplant lasagna. I think it was good. As far as the service goes, I thought I was very good. There were a lot of serving staff who walked around and paid attention to the customers. We were asked whether we were doing well or not as least 5 times in one hour. They were good with filling up water as well. I'd like to go back and try more items and hopefully the kitchen staff will not be short.

Came here for a friend's birthday party. We don't visit anywhere south of Seattle so it was essentially throwing a dart in the dark. I came across this place and was pleasantly surprised. The food selection was decent. A little limiting, but what do you expect from a small mom and pop? I'm sure they were trying to cut down on overhead. Who can blame them? The food was tasty. A little on the salty side, which is saying a lot coming from me because I like fries with my salt. Some of it tasted fresh and homemade. Some did not. I ordered the baked manicotti. It looked like it was made fresh to order. A friend ordered their linguine. Looked like the sauce came from a can. Guess you really have to be careful about what you're ordering. Very tasty for sure. Not sure if it is well worth the price they charge, which isn't much compared to Seattle. I would recommend trying this place with an open mind. You might be pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind... You're in Tukwila. This place is tucked away in the center of a business district. Not the good foundation for the best quality Italian food.

The best thing to order here are the sandwiches and is pretty much the local norm for why people keep coming back here every day. From the turkey bacon avocado, to the sausage and rapini, to the crispy shrimp pacemaker it'll make you wonder why subway and quiznos even bother. The waffle fries are always worth it, but even their salad's have enough cheese and dressing on them that it's easy to convince oneself that the fries aren't that much more unhealthy. I've had the pasta and pizza and while not bad they really don't stand out enough to make me order them over the sandwiches. I work close by this restaurant and it seems to mainly serve the work crowd. The service here is usually friendly, but a bit short staffed so they can be slow when it's busy.

Excellent authentic Italian food. It's kind of deli style service though. You order at the front counter, and then they'll bring your food to your table when it's ready. They have very yummy pasta alfredo and great iced tea. Their homemade meatballs are to DIE for! You can order a side of meatballs and I would highly recommend doing so. Their service is okay, not fantastic, but not terrible either. Wonderful food though!

So far everything I've tried here is packed with flavor. I usually call and pick up during lunch hour. I honestly can't get over the fact that they are pretty cheap for what you're getting. The main item for me is the Cuban sandwich. It's not italian but it's just too good.

Wow, I'm really wavering between two and three stars. But, it's Valentine's Day and I'm feeling the love, so I'm going to go with three. Husband and I stopped in for dinner tonight. We had driven past Galliano's a few weeks back and I immediately bookmarked it on Yelp. I love Italian food and was excited to see a new (well, to me, anyhow) place in an area we seem to find ourselves in reasonably often. So, finding ourselves there again tonight, we decided to try Galliano's for dinner. Although it was Valentine's Day and we did not have a reservation, we were able to be seated right away. I would love to say it was in a comfy booth, but, really, it was not. A small table for two was immediately perpendicular to the booth where we were seated. Seriously, it felt like the people at this table were dining with us. I was able to mostly ignore this as the table was behind me. But, the back of my head was pretty much right in the faces of the two people seated there. If I had been at that table, I would have been very uncomfortable and would have asked to be reseated. And, if that request were refused, I would have left. House wine was very poor. Really, it is not that hard to find something that is inexpensive, quaffable, and decent. So, why serve something that is so flavorless and tastes like it's been watered down? The starter salad was a nice surprise: It had an "antipasto" air about it with roasted red peppers, garbanzos, bites of fresh mozzarella, and (real!) olives. I had the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken itself was tasty, if not the most generous serving I've ever seen. I was excited that the accompanying pasta was served with a pink sauce, which I generally very much enjoy; but the sauce was very bland. We were given a choice of garlic or cheesy bread. Not wanting something heavy or fatty, I went with the garlic bread. But, it was still fatty and heavy. I ate only a single bite. An option of just straight up bread would have been nice. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. In short, I'm not sorry we gave Galliano's a try. But, I left mostly unimpressed and would be unlikely to stop in again.

I've been waiting 45 mins for a sandwich to go.. she said 5-10 mins and it's really not that busy in here. Not impressed.

This is restaurant that I have been eating at for years. We use to come once a week and I would have the Classic Italian sandwich but they unfortunately changed it and I do not care for the new version. The restaurant is comfortable with Parachutes coming down from the ceilings as decorations and somewhat camouflaged bathrooms. The service is usually friendly and efficient. It is a nice place to sit and enjoy lunch. While it is typical deli - order at the counter and they deliver - they also refill your drinks as a courtesy. Our grand kids have always enjoyed their spaghetti and meat balls and I have tried their Strawberry Chicken a number of years ago. Not sure if they still carry that but it was good.

The only good thing I can say about the calamari is it wasn't overcooked and rubbery. The marinara served with the calamari was very watery and the aioli very thick. To me it didn't seem like fresh calamari, it seemed like frozen, pre-breaded. Chicken parm. was good, but I found 2 nearly whole bay leaves in my sauce, one I ended up biting into. My wife had the chicken scaloppine and she took a bit of pasta and what she thought was a piece of artichoke, but it turned out to be a small lemon wedge. My wife also had a latte which was also not very good.

The food was tasty, but the power went out. The staff said nothing about the status of our order. After 20 minutes we went up to get a refund and were told our paninis were done but they were waiting for power to do fries. We asked for a refund. They offered to bring out our sandwiches and the fries would only take 3-4 minutes. After waiting another 6 minutes, they brought out our order. The food was good, but the service wasn't. The staff should have communicated with options, refunds or discounts for a future meal. The power was still out when we left.

Galliano's Cucina is an interesting mix of restaurant types. It isn't exactly full service but then it isn't priced like a full service place. When you arrive you order at the front counter, choosing your meals from the hand written menu on the wall above the pass-through. You are given a number and you go find a seat. After this bit of self service the rest is full service. The food is cooked to order and delivered to your table. For lunch I had the Chicken Scaloppine (their spelling) and found the pasta in the bottom of the plate to be perfectly cooked. The chicken was pounded and lightly cooked until it was tender and the cream sauce with mushrooms....oh my. It even came with a piece of cheesy bread to mop up what my spoon didn't manage to get. For a lunch the price might be a bit higher than you would normally go out for but the freshness and well prepared food makes it an excellent splurge.

Got the Bianca pizza. The crust was thin and light. Liked the white sauce. But unfortunately the artichokes were not properly trimmed. It was covered in the fuzzy choke (the part you're supposed to throw out) and no actual artichoke hearts. I ended up throwing most of it out.

My friend and I went in for dinner one night and the restaurant had mabye 3 tables taken. We waited probably 5 minutes to be seated, there were 2 servers for the 3 tables.. which started off our experience a little iffy. Once we sat down, we asked out waitress a couple questions about the menu, which she knew nothing about. She said there were items on the menu, which were not. We took a look at the menu, but our waitress didn't come back for about 10 minutes! Way too long! We were looking around trying to get attention of the other waitress in hopes that she would just help us. Once we finally got our food, it was okay, no real complaints there.. The garlic cheese bread is really good, and so is the caesar salad. I would definitely recommend those two items.. But at the same time, I wouldn't come back just to have those two things..

Loved it. Great food, lots of value added with extra touches. When we got our bill we were pleasantly surprised at our total. Even got dessert which was a huge piece of tiramisu. And it was wonderful. Brought half home for tomorrow. We definitely plan to go back and are looking into having our staff party there.

I love how vibe is so relaxing and chill here! It isn't arranged like a normal restaurant. It has a counter that sort of resembles a coffee shop, I'm assuming because a lot of people order out. Anyway, I arrived a little earlier than my party and was seated immediately, asked what I wanted to drink, and offered bread while I waited. After everyone arrived, we did take a while to order, but they were SO nice after they kept asking us and we keep being indecisive. While we did talk and figure out what we wanted, we had SO many loaves of bread as they were so addicting with their butter. Their butter had this garlic, italian herb taste to it that kept us wanting more! Their bread was freshly toasted--perfectly! A little toasted on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. It was NOT dry and we seriously had like 4 loaves to 4 people... it could have been more though :) Most of us ordered the same thing because it sounded bomb! We ordered the chicken scalloppine which was to die for. So creamy, and I LOVE angel hair pasta! It had artichoke hearts and capers. Not to mention, their cheesy bread they give you, is another to die for! It is so creamy and cheesy. the BEST cheesy bread i've ever had in my life! Mmm. Overall, the scalloppine was seriously good. Fresh, creamy, and the chicken was 2 cuts of thigh or breast (I can't remember which one) but it was tender. WE ate so much bread, that none of us finished our food. I ate like half of the dish. I sister ordered the red sauce chicken parmiagiano I believe. Hers was delicious too. Perfectly cooked chicken, again, so tender and soft with so many flavors. The cheese for the crust was delicious. Not to mention, they offer you soup of the day or salad for the starters... and their caesar salad is so damn good. Mmm. Best caesar salad b/c it had a GREAT dressing, perfect lettuce leaves, and their croutons were hella bomb. I think they were homemade. My brother ordered some pizza, and he ate all of it except for 2 slices... so I'm assuming it was delicious too. It did look great indeed. We had EXCELLENT service. Our server was GREAT and very sweeet. She was very nice, mingled with us and was amazing at her job. We also got Andes mints upon leaving. Overall, 5/5 on everything. No bad service and food was great. I knew this place was bomb!

Out with some business colleagues for lunch the other day, this is a regular haunt of said colleagues, close to their office. Galliano's in the "fast casual' category with table service, counter ordering. They offer a fairly full-line Italian style menu, with sandwiches, pizza, salads, pasta and selected entrees. A large menu board, replete with misspellings ("avacado", "muscles") is behind the counter, place your order, pay, and in short order, your food will be brought to your table. Our party of five managed to sample a broad selection of the foods, two of us had meatball sandwiches, one a pizza, another the chopped salad. All of the food was aesthetically and palate pleasing. I was one of the meatball sammie guys, something I would ordinarily never order (for no particular reason), and it was delicious. Wedges of flavorful meatballs, red sauce, cheese, on a very high quality roll. The meatballs were (I am guessing) a blend of veal and pork, with Italian herbs, slight fennel. Side choices were soup, salad, or waffle fries (not sure I have ever had the latter in Italy, but probably a normal add-on for American tastes.) The colleague immediately to my left went with the small (11" ) Supreme pizza, and I was drooling over (but not offered any) the obviously hand-pulled Italian sausage, and thin crusts. Verdict? I liked it. I'm in the area on occasion, and will hog a large pizza for myself next time I am in Tukwila. They have a 2nd location near Sea-Tac, as well.

We were on our way into the city and knew we wanted to have dinner. I suggested going here because I had been to the one up in Sea-Tac for lunch a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Dinner was no exception, both of us were pleased with the food that we ordered. I had the Baked Manicotti. You could tell it was fresh! The portion size was just right, normally I have to take food home because this country has become obsessed with quantity over quality, not the case here. You get quality first and foremost. The bread they bring is very soft and moist and goes really well with the herb butter! I started with a house salad with their italian dressing, very good. Not too acidic and the vegetables were fresh! A good place, doesn't just server good food, it also has to have good service. This place has it for sure! I would highly recommend it. The value for the price (which isn't overly expensive) is exceptional!

I had one of the worst sandwiches of my life here years ago. This place was so highly recommended that I could not have been more disappointed with what was served. A decade letter I found my self here for a work event and was really apprehensive about the meal. This time, the sandwich was really good. My only complaints would be that the price was kind of high for a small sandwich and the signature waffle fries were not a good fry in my opinion. Would much rather have skinny fries with Italian herbs spices and fresh grated Parmesan. Good sandwich, but I need more sandwich or a better price.

  • Angie D.

I had some spicy shrimp sandwich that was really good and different from any other sandwich you've probably had. I was even impressed by the side salad...far more in it than you'd expect and fresh. The staff was friendly and the overall feel was welcoming for us out-of-town'ers. We stopped here because the lady at the airport recommended them. Good choice and I am glad we tried it!

Just to reiterate, I NEVER give 1 star reviews, especially on a first visit/encounter, but the attitude from the restaurant on this particular day was enough. We were so excited because we were getting food ordered from here by my boss (which we had called last week about ordering for 15 people and they said they would call back, they never did, so we had to call again to order). She had ordered certain things for all of us and the woman on the phone read the entire order back correctly. When it came time to get the food for our lunch, there were things missing (and charged for twice) and our boss was literally accused of not ordering it when she did. If you want to have continued business, do not belittle your customers, they will never come back. Also, the wait was extremely long for something that was pre-ordered and they also never apologized to our boss. Maybe it was an extremely off day or someone was having a bad afternoon, but when a large order is put in, you try your best to make sure it's all there and near 100% right, don't accuse the customer of forgetting. Large orders mean money and usually return customers from the entire office if everything is awesome. I'm pretty sure no one will be returning here for their lunch.

This a very good solid place for great sandwiches. Never had pizza, but from what I have seen look good. Building looks much nicer than surrounding area. Really want to try the Cuban looks great! If you are in any of the soccer toury's at fort Dent this very close by across from riverside casino.

Enjoyed a lunch here with some friends - and will definitely be back. The Caesar salad was excellent. I decided to try something I've never had before, so I ordered the Chicken Scaloppine. It was really tasty! The chicken was tender, the pasta perfectly cooked, and just enough artichoke bits to balance it out. The cheesy garlic bread was amazing! In short, the meal was a smash hit. The service was good as well. The staff was friendly, and our food delivered quickly. Definitely a redo for lunch!

Pasta sauce was watery; I thought for a moment I was served soup. Flavor was awful. Sausage was served with casing still attached. A waste of time and money.

Galliano's is a great choice for lunch around the Boeing area. This spot has the vibe of a very nice sit down restaurant, but features a counter ordering system for quick service. Their menu features the traditional Italian dishes like pastas and lasagna as well as a plethora of sandwiches. Whatever you order, you're sure to get a good amount of food. If you need a lunch in about 45 minutes, stop by Galliano's and grab a sandwich. It's quick, filling, and satisfying! Ordering is quick and the service is great. Only reason that they got a 4/5 rating from me is that the prices are a little too high. Around $8-9 per order. The bathrooms here are pretty funny. The doors are painted to match the art on the rest of the wall so on first glance you might not find them. But, don't worry, just take the Harry Potter approach and just believe they're there! But don't forget to open the door before you go running into the wall...

sandwiches are great. get the soup and sandwich combo for lunch.. it's huge.. It's a great co worker lunch place that's not a huge chain.. and in Tukwila, there's not a whole lot of choice. If you want great Italian in Washington state.. well.. take a flight to New York or San fran..

My work orders from here on occasion and their food is delish! Meatballs are so moist and their cheesy bread is amazing! I wanted to share their yummy flavors with my husband so we went to the restaurant and omg, they're tomato soup, Cesar salad, bread, spaghetti, fettuccine, jambalaya, everything we've eaten is soooo good! This is our new to go Italian spot.

Went here on Saturdpay for a late lunch. The place was pretty much empty, no line and only two people in the restaurant. With this, we did not have any waiting issues like others have mentioned in their reviews. I ordered pasta with sausage and I enjoyed the meal. The set up is you order your food and pay right away at the cash register and then you are given a table number in which you are found and given your meal once the food is ready. Not nearly as good as the Italian places I have been to in Boston, but good for the Tukwila area.

Knowing myself, I could write a story on this place's attention to decor detail.... ah screw it! Story time! I've driven by this place many times and just blew it off for some reason(s)... not yesterday. The outside felt like Olive Garden, but another look proves contrary... (i should really learn these design and material names). There's a drive-thru, but not sure it's in use anymore. You can park on opposite sides, too. Entering, I was greeted with an electronic(?) fire place with a wooden(?) casing behind a table. 90 degree turn and I realize the true feeling this place gave me (i'm such a NERD/DORK/GEEK for these type of things): The men's room is "behind" (only the door handle sticks out) an italian alley mural; the women's behind a clear sky mountain view with some round pillar-supporting thing in the foreground. Very pleasant tones & mood. The wooden louvre door stall was cool. The well-done cloudy ceiling uses the joist line as the "top of the sky". Huge arched windows up front & center and nice curtains all around. There's plenty of seating arrangements to choose from (and potentially create). 2 Pacman corner booths, also. A party of 16 ate in the middle while I was there. The tables and chairs have a nice mahogany(?) stain to them. Also spotted 2 solid gray parachuters with mini LED(?) lights in hand. What did I order, you ask? That would be the Tomato Basil 11" pizza. YUM! Very tasty. That makes me want to try the Veggie next time. Because you order from the counter, don't have high expectations for service. She did fill my water sometimes and ask how it was. Definitely swing by this place.

Wow, this place is great! We had family visiting, and they were staying at a nearby hotel. We decided to go out to dinner, and wanted to stay close their hotel. We saw this restaurant and decided to try it. Wow....we are so glad we did!! It is a smaller restaurant, probably about 15 tables. The decor is a little kitschy, but it worked. They have a an electric fireplace that was going, that added to the comfortable feel. Nice menu, offering salads, pizza, subs, seafood, and classic pasta dishes. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, Milano pizza, kids pepperoni pizza, an Italian sub, and 3 salads. While waiting for our dinner, they brought out fresh baked bread with herbed butter.....delicious! The salads were fresh, with a great Caesar dressing, buttery croutons, and plentiful parmesan cheese. Our entrees were fantastic. The Milano had sausage, pepperoni, and big drops of ricotta throughout. MMMMM...everyone ate all of their meal. The waitresses are great. Very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Next time we have family fly in to SeaTac we will definitely go here! Highly recommend.

My boyfriend took me here on our first date, that was awhile back. But I remembered he raved so much about it that I had to go back. My cousin flew into town and said he was craving Italian, so perfect time to try the place out again. Omg it is AMAZING. One of the best Italian places to go. Service overall was great! Very attentive. The bread that comes first is soo good, probably due to their homemade seasoned butter! It's got several herbs in it like rosemary and oregano, not sure if there were any other but definitely caught those notes. I got the Chicken Scalloppine, which comes with a house salad or soup in every entree. I chose the salad. It came out on a pretty decent size plate with an assortment of veggies on it like the usual leafy items, as well as olives, cherry tomatoes, pepperoncinis, fresh mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Very filling. By the time I got my entree I was pretty much almost full. The Chicken Scalloppine was amazingly delicious! Its angel hair pasta in the creamy white sauce that has kind of an alfredo buttery cheesey taste that was divine. The bacon bits and mushroom tossed in there made everything so flavorful. And the chicken was cooked perfectly still very juicy. Definitely got my moneys worth. And I even had a ton of left over too! Definitely recommend everyone to try this place out! =)

I went with some co-workers last friday and as a group of 8 we expected some wait. My co-workers had been before and they raved of the food. I ordered, as directed- their fabulous Gallianos Club- which turned out to be less then fabulous. They used icky cheese on the sandwich and overall the sandwich was sub-par. The waffle fries that came with were fab!! Lunch on a friday was very busy!! I am not sure I'll try this place again but it was an interesting experience. You line up and order then you sit down and then you wait for the food to arrive. As we were leaving, they came to clear some dishes and the girl was clearly carrying too much for no reason, she then dumped some ranch/pasta dressing on my co-workers coat and purse. This didn't make sense to me as the dishwashing area was overflowing with dirty dishes (some piled on the floor)- why rush to clear the table as lunch was dying down.- Again, an interesting experience and some of the food was really good- some aspects were lackluster. Also parking was a pain- had to park across the road.

Gallianos Cucina always treats us like a family. With two kids under 6 it is always hectic to go out, but at Galliano's they are greeted and treated so warmly. They are allowed to play (we make sure they are not in the way). The food is decent and plentiful. Their Tiramisu however is as good as we ever had, even when we went to Venice. We bring our kids' Galliano's tiramisu as small birthday cakes and they absolutely love it!

I love this place. Was showed by one of my foodie friends Howard a few years ago and still get food from there on a fairly regular basis. It's great Italian food but it seems too... 'lunchy' or lacks a family feel. Lunch times are exclusively ordering from the counter and dinner is when waiting service begins. REGARDLESS, this is a minor side-effect as the atmosphere and appearance is still great. The food is fantastic. Creamy sauces are creamy, and cheesy garlic bread satisfies all of my naughty pleasures. They serve pizza and elaborate 'grinders' as well which I'm sure tastes great but I have yet to try it. This review is centered around their pastas. Tasty and Approved: Seafood Linguine: Creamy alfredo sauce. Decently sized shrimp, scallops, and clams. Ingredients seem to vary over the years... Cajun Jambalaya: Ingredients seem to have changed over the years... either way, linguine in a heavy, rich cream sauce. The sauce is very pink and spicy and goes very well with the typical Cajun protein like sliced sausage, chicken, and shrimp. Yum. Lobster Ravioli: A fairly pricey dish which is expected when ordering anything that has the word 'lobster' in the title. I like this dish and have gotten it multiple times. The ravioli's are not stuffed with tons of lobster as it is considered an expensive protein, but I can still tell it's there. This may be due to the fact that lobster meat is slightly more mild than other delicate seafoods like crab meat. I typically have them mix the standard garlic alfredo sauce with their basil pesto, or marinara to make for a creamy pink sauce. The last time I ordered this it had three blanched spears of asparagus which fit the dish quite well. Cheesy Garlic Bread: I am a garlic guy. This is damn good. These are toasted slices of baguette with seasonings, small slices of fresh garlic, what seems like a creamy alfredo sauce, and cheese. Biting into the lightly toasted bread and creamy, garlicy alfredo sauce cheese mix is to DIE for. Most entree orders come with a piece of this bread. I typically buy another order of cheesy bread which comes with four pieces at $4.99. I think it's quite sad as this bread really has me by the Johnsons when I order to go and eat the bread in the parking lot in my car. Another one of the FEW things that satisfy a garlic and animal fat craving. Caesar Salad: One of the BEST Caesar salads you can have. Very simple. The romaine lettuce is clean and dry. Dryness of the lettuce is important so that dressings and other ingredients stick to it. That is why salad spinners exist. The dressing is rather thick and potent. Great strong flavors that wake up any bored pallet. The croutons are large, crispy, and well seasoned. This is all topped by a healthy amount of thinly sliced parmesan cheese. A fantastic end to the meal. (I save salads for last to swoop in and help digest after eating all the heavy food) Service is always on par, food consistency has always been good for what I order, but pricing can be up there. It is very easy to spend over $20 for one meal if you get some extras, but I would expect Galliano's food quality and taste when I do. I am ALWAYS satisfied.

***DON'T COME HERE FOR PIZZA!*** I'm giving this place 2 stars because I can tell they mean well, but this place is just not good...for pizza. Hubby and I went here tonight and were surprised to see such a sparse menu for an Italian restaurant! I'd expect a tiny menu at a more high-end joint, which this is not. Of course, we're from the east coast so we're used to huge menus at Italian/pizza restaurants. Usually they have everything but the kitchen sink, and more. We craved pizza and were starving so we hoped for a pizza we'd read about here on their yelp menu that had ricotta on it. No dice, not on the menu. Thought maybe a salad to start. The Insalata section listed a 9 dollar chop salad, that's it. Where's a regular house salad or a Caeser? According to our hopelessly ill-qualified, inexperienced waitress, those were offered as side salads with pizza. Okaaaay, just wondering why it only said that in fine print above Pizzas instead of in the salad section. Could've avoided any confusion. But anyways, not a huge deal. We asked if we could choose our own toppings since almost every pizza had sausage on it and we wanted more variety. Waitress looks super puzzled, says she'll ask...Whaaa? She comes back and says we can "add" toppings (what those are, not sure 'cus there not listed on the menu) to one of them. Hmmm...We also wondered if we would be getting bread and finally a small hunk of over-toasted Wonder bread was brought out to us, with surprisingly good garlic and veggie butter. We ended up ordering the Mario pizza with sausage and "sliced mozzarella". What a joke! The thing came with only 10 or 12 slices of cheese on it ('bout inch and a half round), some suuuper light shaves of parmesan--lighter than snowflakes btw--and nothing else. Who thought this would be good? They should be fired. It was also paper thin and sparsely sauced. The sausage was good and faintly spicy. Had fresh sliced basil on it, also good. But a pizza with no cheese, that's a new one for me. They need to work on their menu, here. To make matters worse, the bill listed our pizza 2 dollars more than it was on the menu (for which they have two: one they bring to your table and one handwritten on a blackboard, with descriptions that are illegible, and that list different prices). At $21 for a 16 inch, this pizza was a complete and total ripoff. Also, no beer on tap. All in all, I'd say try here for pasta, maybe, but don't expect to be wowed.

you're looking for a fancy italian restaurant? sorry this isn't it. But i can tell you this, I took my current girlfriend here on our first date. Keyword, current...yep, that's all it took. A dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant and I'm in like sin drinking gin. SEAFOOD LINGUINE...Where have you been all my life!? Can't go wrong with this place. Unless your date is allergic to garlic or something, which is illegal by the way, and my friend GREGORY L. will definitely bust you for and make sure you get arraigned in Texas on their deathrow express lane that they just installed. Great prices. I also like how they purposely paint the walls to look old. great food. Service you asked? it doesn't matter, I'll have the double scoop of mint chocolate garlic with garlic sprinkles and hot garlic on top in a garlic cone.

Just checked this place out. Waiting staff wasn't all that knowledgeable on ingredience of deserts, but friendly. The pizza was tasty and the atmosphere was cheerful and casual.

Another place near my work and home that I am grateful to stop by for lunch or dinner when I didn't pack lunch or didn't feel like cooking dinner. Galliano's is what I could call mostly "comfort" Italian food, but their food is, none the less, very delicious. Don't read, greasy or heavy, as it's not. Their delicious garlic cheese bread comes with every entree. I love their pizza, it's a nice medium between thin and thick crust, has a generous amount of cheese and is filling and satisfying. I like their BBQ chicken pizza very much. Sandwiches are good to. For location (if you live on Tukwila hill), convenience and a satisfying meal, this is the place to go. Note: if you request any meal variation due to diet or preference to make to your order, be very clear. Their staff is great, but for the most part English isn't their first language.

This restaurant is my alternative to Olive Garden in Southcenter. The interior is like Olive Garden and the prices are cheaper than Olive Garden. I like to come here when I want Italian food and when I want it to go. As you drive up to the restaurant you'll notice a big lot for parking. When you walk inside and the door shuts behind you, the door will make a loud noise. It's on purpose though. It notifies the employees that someone is there. The host will come quickly to you either to seat you or walk you to the cash register to place your order. I like the food. Along with your entree they give you cheesy bread and a side of salad. It's enough food that you'll have leftovers. The employees are very friendly. If you order your food to go, then it'll be done within 15 minutes. While you're waiting you can read a book, fiddle with your phone, or walk over to the 7-11 and grab a Redbox movie. How do I know about this place? Because I used to be a SR 599 commuter.

Good food. Seems that everytime we come here something goes wrong with out order. This last time we had 2 wait staff try 5 times to give us salads we did not order. When had to wait over a hour for one entree to arrive.

Weary traveler missed lunch because I refuse to eat bad food. I didn't want to travel all the way to Seattle on an empty stomach. So glad I found Galliano Cucina. I had the Caprese salad and basil pizza. It reminded me of meals in Italy. My server Maria anticipated my every need.

I've been here a few times and whenever I go there it happens to be during their non-busy hours so service was always pretty decent. I like their pastas. They're homemade and not overcooked. I like how they're still a chewy. I've tried different menus on them but I've never had the sandwiches. So far, it's always been good. The place is clean and well-decorated. Parking is super easy too, though the location is rather secluded and far away from the city. Overall, I'd give this place a 3.5 stars but I'll round up and give 4 stars since I like to support local businesses,

Very disappointed today... after waiting half an hour for some pasta, it was super salty and headed back to work to have a granola bar instead.

I've never had a bad experience here and everything I've had here has been pretty damn good. The environment is so-so, far from fancy and could use improvement but it doesn't bother me. After all, I'm here for the food. The service is also pretty good - the waitresses are friendly and always checking up on you, making sure that everything is good. Every meal starts off with a loaf of bread and DELICIOUS parmesan garlic butter I believe? I usually don't care for bread but I swear, everytime I come here I can't stop eating the bread. You have a choice between soup or salad with your entree. I always choose the caesar salad because it's one of the BEST. Everytime I get it, it tastes so fresh and soooooo goooood! I love the slices of fresh parmesan on top, and being a cheese fan, I shower mine with grated parmesan also. LOL The shrimp scampi here is delicious. It's my back-up go-to menu item when I can't decide what to eat, simply because I know it'll be good. The lemon cream sauce is so tangy and creamy and DELICIOUS. Recently, I've had their pasta romano. It was rather good also and bursted with flavor. The bacon added a smoky flavor that I really liked. The only down-side to the dish, which is not anything against Galliano's but me - usually I prefer my pasta dish with linguine - which I forgot to request. Other dishes that I've had in previous experiences but don't remember the details of the dish except that they were DELICIOUS are the Chicken Scaloppine and Grilled Chicken & Asparagus. My friends also highly recommend the mushroom ravioli, which I ought to try. I don't know... just something about this place that keeps me coming back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The food tastes delicious, all of it, for sure! But I'm sorry if you think you're getting homemade anything because it's not true. Take a look in the dumpsters outside and you'll see bags and bags of powdered Alfredo mix.

One of my favorite Italian place!! Great price and great location -- perfect for lunch and dinner (usually quiet atmosphere at dinner). There is more food for the price you pay! I find that the flavor is also more traditional. Parking is very convenient and I love that I can call an place an order to go and pick up at the drive thru window (so convenient)!

Kind of a randomly placed restaurant tucked into Tukwila. I had the chicken and asparagus pasta with a garlic cream and balsamic vinegar sauce- something very different from anything I have tasted before, but pretty good! Additionally the starter bread with the butter was delishhh!

This place is very hidden, surrounded by moms and pops casinos and industrial warehouses. They have really good food here. I am a fan of garlic & they have pretty good garlic bread. They only thing that really sucks, is that they only open for a certain hour and don't open very late on the weekend, sucks because I have to go somewhere else to get Italian food on the weekend. To avoid the busy crowd, I would call ahead and make sure that there're not busy, cause when they do get busy .. I MEAN THEY REALLY DO GET BUSY

this is like 1 of my hidden gems..i think they have the best ceasar salads.. n their pasta n sandwiches r amazing...ok everything ive had here has been awesome, but for some reason their waffle fries w BBQ sauce have made never want any other fries again lol...prices $6-$13. u order at the front and they give u a number and bring ur food to ur table, but so its not a fast food, but not yet full service...everytime i want italian food i go here!! im not a fan of olive garden.... gallianos taste like homemade food! im hungry for it now!

This place has great food for a good price. I had the mushroom ravioli which was yummy but had a tad too much cheese. The ceasar salad was great as was my companions green salad and caprese sandwich. Service was quick and the place was super clean. I wish there was one in North Seattle so I could visit more often. It's an awesome place for lunch.

Just ordered a pizza for pickup. Excellent crust and toppings (we chose garlic, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and italian sausage). Much better than the local corporate alternatives. Will definitely get pizza there again.

Great sandwiches and salads! I know other people rave about the pizza or pasta, but this place has sandwiches to die for. For hot Sandwiches, nothing beats the Chicken Philly, The roll used is firm but not too hard, Large strips of chicken, with onions and peppers, with melted cheese, makes for a rocking sandwich. Another favorite sandwich is the Sausage and Sweet pepper, the Sausage is nice and full with flavor, and the peppers help bring everything out. Service is kind of subpar to average, so don't expect to have that great of service.

Meh. Food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing, either. I had a seafood linguine dish, which looked great, but the shellfish wasn't washed well & there was grit in the food - which killed my appetite. The cheesy bread was pretty good. Also, the portion size wasn't much for the price (maybe because I got it to go?). I often order a single meal & then share with my son - he loves seafood, but wouldn't touch this (he's also not normally a picky eater). All in all, not too bad, but nothing to write home about.

On a recent trip to Seattle our party was hungry and my daughter was in the mood for Italianfood. After doing some research on restaurants near the airport I found Galliano's. After an Alamo rental employee enthusiastically responded "Galliano's" when I asked her where I could find some good Italian food, It made my choice easy! We drove to the restaurant and were lucky to and spaghetti for me, fettucini alfredo for my 10 yr.-old daughter, and a vegetable sandwich for my vegetarian aunt. The service was friendly and efficient and the generous servings were excellent! All of us were very stuffed and very happy with every part of the meal. The reasonable check was the icing on the cake! We give Galliano's three thumbs up!!!

  • P K.

The food is fair, but not superb. What was really lacking was the service. You do not get any sense that you, the customer is of importance to them. Once your food is dropped off (which is not speedy) they never ask if you want anything else or how things taste. Not cheap to eat here considering poor service. The pizza is good and we often have this at work for parties.

My business has been ordering from Galliano's for years and frankly, it's a mixed bag. The food is heavy but satisfying. The service is frequently spotty. Lately almost every time we order pick up, Galliano's manages to mess something up--whether it's asking for a substitution of traditional garlic bread instead of the odd mayo and melted cheese concoction they serve up or just forgetting a salad or a sandwich that was part of the order. Although their website advertises free delivery, today my group of twenty ordered delivery and we were charged $41.50 for "optional gratuity" for groups over 8. A call to the general manager who bore the last name of the establishment yielded nothing even after I explained that when I picked up our order YESTERDAY for the same group of 20 there was no "optional gratuity" included (though I did have to drive back to the establishment for the sandwich they forgot to include the first time). Eventually the general manager called back to offer a full refund for which I'm grateful. She stated she wished the website was "clearer". Free delivery means just that. While I do tip delivery drivers, I do so voluntarily and at a much lower rate than for dine-in service. An 18% gratuity for delivery orders is just downright excessive.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I've been eating at this location since it opened a couple of years ago. I prefer this one to the original location up in Sea-Tac (next to the Safeway). All the pasta I've had here are good. But my favorite thing here are the sandwiches. The most expensive sandwiches I think are around $8.49 for a foot long, but they're pretty freakin' huge sandwiches. I work at a gas station down the road, and it a convenient place to get some food. The place has now gone to "diner mode" for dinner, meaning you're seated and order taken, instead of just walking up to counter and placing an order. Like another reviewer said, this place is PACKED at lunch time during the week. The line will literally be to the door. I would suggest calling in your order and picking it up in the outside window drive-thru. It's a whole heck of a lot of convenience there! And they do offer delivers, but only with a minimum order of $80, and they also offer catering. Hey, sometimes you have to wait for your food, so I read the little paper menus they put at every table. So sue me. But hey, how else would you expect me to get my info out to the masses?

In a place like Tukwila/Southcenter where there is very little in the way of great, hole in the wall restaurants (it's mainly chains and fast food in the mall area) Galliano's offers delicious Italian fare at a reasonable price. The two different locations are casual, walk-up-to-the-counter style, but the ambiance is enough to make you want to hang out for a while. Every dish comes with awesome cheese bread, and the portions are generous and tasty. Orders don't take TOO long, but if you are in a lunch rush, I'd say call ahead. Whenever I have someone from out of town over to visit, I take them here for lunch instead of Jack N the Box. They thank me for this. Their menu seems to be a bit revamped, and unfortunately their lasagna is currently tasting pretty bland, but the rest of the menu items are top notch.

This is the pizza I have been looking for since I moved to Kent 4 years ago. The sausage actually tastes like sausage, not some non-descript meat. In fact all their toppings and cheese is quality. The crust isn't the best I've had, but its still very good. The sauce is also great. Their pizza alone is worth the trip. They also have excellent sandwiches and appetizers. Their beef bbq w/ avocados and bacon is absolutely amazing. I haven't tried their pasta yet, but its also supposed to be pretty good. Based on the rest of their stuff, I wouldn't be surprised. All around great place. You won't be disappointed.

Food was alright. I'd go back again, maybe order something different than Chicken Fettic.; the chicken was a little rough (grilled), pasta was a tad bit hard. My fiance had a hot sandwich which was DELICIOUS!!!! Service was slow.. prices reasonable.

Food was overly salty to the point I could not finish my food. Also, our waitress, though pleasant, was not knowledgable on the food items. She couldn't tell us what came in even the basic salad or what the special was. Would not recommend if you are craving real Italian food. I don't know if our party of 4 was there on an off night, or what happened, but I could not recommend eating there.

Great pizza, I lived in NY State for a while, and it is difficult to find good pizza. The sandwiches are good, not really traditional Italian but they are good. Desserts are good and atmoshpere is relaxing. A gem for that neigborhood.

A surprising Italian oasis in the industrial area of Tukwila north of Southcenter -- and you didn't think there was anything to Tukwila besides the mall, did you? Sandwiches are served on delicious homemade bread, there's a large variety of excellent pastas, and everything is made fresh to order. Highly recommended, though you'll want to give yourself some extra time at lunch -- long lines are to be expected, this is the most popular place you've never heard of.

For a great hot sandwich, this is a great place to go. I always order the bbq chicken sandwich, sweet, tangy and slightly spicy bbq sauce smothers strips of chicken breast and sandwiched in between a perfectly baked, seasoned and toasted roll. It's funny that it's an italian place and I go there for a bbq chicken sandwich. I have been here many times and have tried some of their pastas and salads. The pasta is about average, you can find it anywhere. Their salads are pretty good and huge. The prices here range from $5-$15 depending on what you order, the menu is elaborate, full of sandwiches, pizza, pasta and salads. The have dessert by the slice and free refills on drinks. Their coffee is pretty good, from lavazza. Everytime I come here, I come in hungry and leave satisfied. Parking is not a problem, the service is spotty sometimes, depends on who serves you. The ambiance is alright, though the neighboring casino is a distraction. This place is a cafeteria style restaurant during lunch (order from the counter), but transforms to full service for dinner. Be willing to wait a little while for the food, it's not fast food here. All in all, a solid performing small restaurant, you should try it.

Always a fantastic meal. Great service. Love the inside. Nice little beer and wine list. The pizza is fantastic, cioppino is my favorite in Seattle. They use high quality veggies, meats and cheese. The sandwiches rock! (The Italian is my favorite). They have fresh herbs and well seasoned dishes. I Love all the salads on the menu. I take my out of town guests here. It's a special place to my family.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
