Not the best Red Robin I've ever been to! My burger was cooked to a medium well when I requested medium. The beer wasn't the appropriate temperature, just a bit warmer than it should have been. Fries weren't seasoned, which was fine since there's seasoning a the table- but that was my first time in 20 red robin visits that my fries came out totally unseasoned. My whiskey river bbq burger came so saucey that the bottom bun fell apart & off mid-bite.

Yikes! I'm usually very satisfied with Red Robins however this one was a bit off the usually top notch game.. Our server was excellent but I got the impression they were short on staff. The resturant it self was a bit worn..old and in need of some fresh paint and some TLC. My date order a burger and said it was great, I ordered the clan chowder. It was really thick and pasty like it been on the warmer a couple of days. Made a trip in to the lady's room...And my feet stick to the floor..walls were grossly dirty and one stall had the out of order sign on it that looked as if it had been their awhile. My date said the men's room was just as bad. Over all... food was sort of ok...service I'd say was the only thing going for the place...and the physical building was a big fail.

While my review only pertains to service and not to food, that is entirely due to the inattentiveness of staff on site on my last visit. The visit to Red Robin was ordinary from the start, the lobby was busy and the 15 minute wait unsurprising. However, upon being seated the table lacked any place settings and was dirty (filmy, as in poorly cleaned -- not filthy w/ crumbs or anything.) Our server was announced to us by the greeter/seater but appeared to be nowhere to be found after 10 minutes. The table behind us (same section) was seated, as was the table next to us. Neither had menus or drinks on the table, but seemed to have ordered already. Another table was seated down from us during our wait for our server, and another 5 minutes passed without anyone approaching us. The table behind us had a female server approach them and apologize for forgetting their drinks, and assured them they'd be right out. This server then made a B-line to table seated after us to great them and offer beverages. She then made her way to us to bring silverware and say she'd be right with us. The silverware she dropped was filthy with actual food particles still stuck to it. It was at this point that we all looked at each other (my wife and three pre-teens) and decided this was not worth staying for. As I stated above -- this review pertains to service/environment -- not to food. If we'd stayed perhaps we'd have won the proverbially Red Robin jackpot of deliciousness -- but we weren't terribly excited by the lack of server attentiveness to find out.

This Red Robin seemed to be OK, but then again it wasn't that busy. The waitress refilled my water promptly but I noticed my burger wasn't well done. She didn't seem to do well with the kids at our table either.

I have been happy coming to this one, just make sure that you come early for the dinner rush and also due to Chick-A-Filla has caused a lot of companies in that area to lose business due to the traffic. But with Red Robin I love the food the service, maybe lower the prices a little bit inside of offering high ended burgers. Love the bottomless fries, and bottomless drinks.

Had lunch with my mom here yesterday & our waitress was awesome!!!! I had Cobb salad and mom has chicken sandwich with the new freckled fruit salad, very yummy!!!Even though the place was packed & she was very busy, she stayed attentive and just all around awesome!!! Thank you Amanda, you rock !!!

Horrible service. Bathroom was disgustingly unsanitary and wet everywhere. Waitress didn't care at all about what she was doing. Got all orders wrong for our party of 3. Didn't offer to refill drinks until we were about to Leave. Uniform was sloppy and unprofessional. I will never come back to this establishment. Food took forever to come out, it was soup.

My wife and I had a spectacular experience here. Although our server had many tables, she never allowed our drinks to empty and immediately filled our fries. The food was much better than we remembered (more than likely due to new management), and our server was very patient as we reviewed our choices. I would recommend this restaurant location to anyone in the mood for a chain.

There is something seriously wrong with this chain. A few weeks ago, I had a bad experience at the Red Robin in Lakewood and received a $25 electronic gift card to try them again. I went to this location, next to the Tacoma mall with 3 friends and my god daughter. Upon arrival, we were seated almost immediately. That was the only great thing that happened. It took 15 minutes just to get a drink order in. I ordered the absolute strawberry freckled lemonade and when it came, there was zero alcohol in it. I had everyone at the table taste it and I know this because one of them is also a bartender. I told our server and she seemed annoyed and then said she'd bring another drink out with the shot of vodka on the side. I wish I kept the other drink because there was a difference in taste. It wasn't bad, had I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage. But I didn't. Our server was busy running around and didn't take our food order for another 15 minutes. We didn't start to eat until over an hour of sitting there. I know this because I checked in upon arrival. And as we were waiting, patiently, we couldn't help notice how dirty the tables were. They have folding tables on the sides and the cracks were filled with crumbs and disgusting residue. Health inspectors must not swing by here too often. You could tell it's been there for a while. Apparently our server and the people who actually bring out our food when it's ready are different people. We were missing the sauces that they charge separately for (and we ordered them for our appetizers) and when our server came back, she blamed those people for not bringing our stuff rather than taking responsibility for it. She also forgot the kids meal, mac and cheese with carrots, for my god daughter. They had completely forgotten to put that order in so we had to wait which wasn't a big deal since my god daughter was sleeping. The food was nothing spectacular. The fries were burnt and the ones at the bottom were soggy. Bottomless wasn't very bottomless especially when the size they bring out is smaller than the palm of your hand. Boo. When it came time to pay, I told our server that I had an electronic gift certificate and showed it to her via email. She said she couldn't use it because the digits were not the same length as a credit card. She brought a manager over who sat down and read both emails given to me from their corporate office and told me he couldn't use it. I told him I was not going to pay for meal that I was told would be covered under this email. He said ok and that he'd figure it out. We got up to leave and as we were leaving our server stopped me and asked if the manager spoke with us and I replied, "He did" as I walked away. I could tell she was upset and honestly, I did not care. Customer service sucked and the fact that I was questioned multiple times about the email and who it came from was more than annoying. I would not recommend anyone to come here unless they expect horrible service. **Oh, and PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT, do check your bill before signing your receipt. My friend's bill was roughly $14 but after her card was charged and she was about to sign her receipt, she was charged $22. I have a feeling this could be a regular thing.**

Horrible service, didn't get things we ordered and still showed up on the bill. We told the waitress it was our daughters birthday and nothing special was said or done. The place was filthy, sticky tables, food on the seats and the bathrooms were disgusting!! To top it all off I found a bone chip in my burger....gross!! I think red Robin has really gone down hill over the years and this was even more so than others!!

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Took over a. Hour to get our food on a Tuesday. Burger showed up with what looks like a bite taken out of it, and the manager comes and just jokes about how he feeds his pigs in the kitchen putting his hands all over my food. Avoid at all costs. Drive to lakewood if you need red robin. Wish I could post a picture of the burger. Disgusting.

This location is usually pretty good, today however we were told we had a 5-10 minutes wait. 20 minutes later we went to ask how much longer and they told us they had already called our names so we got added to the bottom of the list again. We were sitting literally right next to the front where they call names. How between the two of us did we just miss ours?? We are sure they never called it. We left. I will pat likely return. Just not when it's busy.

Not a bad place to have a lunch or dinner. It wont impress but also wont dissapoint. Burgers are pretty good (nothing fancy but good) and so are dips and I really like their shakes, especially those based on whiskey or beer. But the service is sometimes on the level which I don´t see in US so often. That means service sometimes sucks. But general experience is not so bad so I will come again, at least because of those shakes.

Not coming back. Got the wrong cocktail , asked for medium rare burger and my order never came. When the waiter brought everyone else's food he realized I didn't get my burger and order it again. Then I got a WELL DONE ! Burger . They didn't charge me and the waiter was nice so this establishment gets 2 stars from me . Hope they get their act together .

This is a copy of the email I sent. I'll update if I get a response. I came in with my family on Sunday, Sept 7, 2014. My mom initially called inquiring about reservations because we had a party of 10 coming in to celebrate my son's 5th birthday. I choose Red Robin for a few reasons, but mainly because I knew that they would sing and my son would get a scoop of ice cream for his birthday which I knew he'd get a kick from. The food was great, but our service was, mediocre. There was no busing of the table. We started piling menus and plates on the table next to us to make room. At the end, after already being given checks, I had to wave the waitress down and ask about singing. We had Happy Birthday balloons and cupcakes and we were obviously there for a reason but it was never offered or mentioned. It wasn't until after we started gathering our things (since we had checks before the singing) that I realized there had been no mention/offer for ice cream either. The entire experience felt rushed and uncaring. Very unlike my previous birthday celebrations with Red Robin. I choose to bring our service there specifically to give my son that birthday experience. I was incredibly disappointed.

  • Ryan B.

This was by far the worst experience that I have ever had in a Red Robin. The service was lousy and my waitress went on break shortly after taking our order. At one point we had to ask for silverware and one of our salads didn't get delivered until the majority of us had already finished eating. Our bottomless fries were never delivered without us having to ask for them. This was 9ne experience I don't want to repeat.

Service was extremely slow and not particularly friendly. 2 out of six meals were so badly prepared (over cooked) they were inedible. (btw-do NOT get the fish and fries... omg bad) The beef dip sandwich meat had sat in fluid so long steaming to keep it warm that all of the taste and color had leached out of it. GROSS! But we waited so long the first time around, we let them know, sent the food back and just let it go. The other 4 people would have been long finished before the second attempt could have arrived. The manager was very gracious and I did not make a big deal about it, but after standing around for 35 minutes waiting to be seated, I had hope for more of their traditional quality which is frankly better by a long shot.

  • Ali F.

The attitude of the hostess's was definitely unacceptable. With so many open tables we waited about 15 minutes to sit at one of these tables, only to watch them quickly fill the other empty tables right after seating us. They would rather stand there and talk than greet us and ask us how many people are in our party. I actually had to approach them and they seemed bothered as soon as I said hello. When it asked how long of a wait it would be one of them said I don't know and turned to the other girl to finish her conversation. At least the girl she was trying to talk to cut her off and said five minutes. But we still waited fifteen. After that I was ready to leave but my family was hungry and we had somewhere to be about an hour later-that was the only reason we stayed. The food was okay and the waitress was averagely nice. However I advise against the bathrooms there, they look like they haven't been cleaned in a few WEEKS.

This place never fails to fall short on over priced bad food. Everything is always cold. Ticket times are always long. Also appetizers always come out with the food....so I get to eat these wings while my burger gets cold...And now I'm currently writing this review from the graffiti written dirty nasty bathroom doubled over in pain from what I have to assume is food poisoning.

Not the best RR I've been to. Food was prepared sloppily but our waitress in the bar area was great.

We've been coming here for years, and something has changed this year at ALL Red Robin restaurants. The servers seem more stressed, and are really trying to be nice, and friendly, but they don't seem as happy to be at their jobs like they used to, again, I'm getting a stressed vibe, like they are so afraid to mess up, or something, it's just not the best atmosphere anymore. My son and I ordered a burger with egg on it, it looked beautiful, but once we both bit into them the egg white was not cooked very well, and did not settle well for either of us. The meat tasted like frozen pre-made patties, I really didn't like the meat at all. The presentation of the meal has changed to look a little more modern, it was an ok change, however, we got 5-6 fries each, and even though it was bottomless fries, we didn't get more fries until we were close to leaving, so we just didn't feel like we got our moneys worth. It took FOREVER to have someone take our order, and to get our food, my husband fell asleep while waiting, we've never left a restaurant after ordering, and as I was waking my husband up to leave, our food finally came out. As we were leaving we walked past the garbage area, and there were a handful of workers complaining about other customers, and making rude comments about the way the customers were dressed, and attacking the customers personalities, I know that customers can be mean and nasty, I don't blame them for being upset, I've worked the food industry for several years, I understand their complaints, HOWEVER, they need to keep those complaints private, an to themselves, no other customers should hear, or know their complaints about other customers, that's just never ok. I may go back if friends or family ask me to, but I'm not getting gift cards, or visiting here very much anymore.

Ok so the food is 3 stars but the staff. Too bad!! Their manager or head of servers, i don't know who was she who took our order, she was rude and had no ethics how to deal with customers.

I go here a lot. About 3 times a month. I always get the same cantankerous presumptuous waitress in the bar. Last time i was here the 2 guys sitting at the table next to me leaned over and asked me if i thought the waitress was kind of short and rude. I told them "she is always like that, don't take it personally." I overheard her say she is moving next year when her daughters friend came in and the waitress chatted with her at the table next to me for 5 minutes about some really personal stuff. JOY! She eagerly dished about her daughters kid, ex-boyfriend, and his drug problem. All kinds of stuff you really wanna hear when you are treating yourself to a nice lunch (SARCASM). They have good and fast food. The service leaves something to be desired. No one ever asks me if I want more fries. Maybe because I usually say no, but at least ASK me. Some days I am hungrier than others and I am paying for it, so offer it to me! If I have an issue with the food they are pretty happy to fix whatever is wrong. It is a good place to get a quick bite to eat. They always quickly refill my soda.

As I'm eating at the rail, I figured I'd casually browse this location's yelp reviews, considering I am by myself and observing everything going on around me. Having just finished shopping myself, I parked knowing this place would be packed; considering the mall was equally packed. Being a bartender/server, I COMPLETELY understand how "mistakes" happen during these rush hours. Only writing because I couldn't help but feel sorry for a girl who is cocktailing in the bar (I am sitting at the rail). When I had sat down, the bartender was grabbing my drink and this cocktail waitress was making her own for a table. Some guy came up and asked if his beers (Stella, I think) were the ones she had poured only like, 90 seconds ago, sitting at the well. She said yes and that she was about to bring them right over. As he was walking away, he made sure he said something along the lines of, "are they even cold they've been sitting there forever". ....which no, they had not. The entire restaurant is frickin PACKED and people are so impatient they feel it necessary to be rude to speed things up. The girls going as fast as she can. Then her food came out, the manager was running it and she asked him to please hold for one minute because their appetizers just came out and that the people had been complaining since they sat down. He proceeded to bring the appetizers out and she followed, and when they both walked away they rolled their eyes. SO RUDE. I'm only writing this review because I feel like people only want to complain when they don't understand how a restaurant/bar works! Don't know the girls name, but she was constantly running around trying her best. I would give 5 stars instead of 4, but the bartender on the other hand was cold and short to myself and everybody sitting at the rail. If you don't want to be at work, then don't; let somebody who wants to make money bartend instead of you! Cracking a smile, even a fake one, isn't THAT hard! Sheesh. Food was good as always -- had a caesar and chicken strips. Ticket times seemed on point for my food, as well as the others around me.

Red Robin is Red Robin. Just a big chain restaurant. Nothing too fancy about the place. The food is decent, pricing is good, only downside is how noisy it is. It is a family restaurant after all. I don't have much to say about Red Robin but their Mai Tai one time was cute looking and tasted semi-good. It was my first time trying it and I didn't know what to expect!

I love Red Robins but everytime I have come to this one it has been a disappointment. The service is fine but the food just isn't the same... just not as good. So we don't come here anymore. We go out of our way to Tacoma or Lacey now.

Although it was busy it took ten minutes for someone to even acknowledge. Us. Drinks took 15 min to arrive and food 45 minutes. However my food never arrived. I had to ask about it and it took an additional 20 minutes to get it out. I was charged full price for a burger that took a damn hour to make while I watched my family eat. Never hear from the manager and the server threw the bill at us with a "sorry" and ran off. Not coming back.

If you are looking for this type of place, this place is great. But not for their claim to fame, the "gourmet" burgers. The burgers are creative, but average tasting. The menu has a great deal of other things that are pretty good. I often get the clucks and fries, tossed in their signature buzzard sauce. These are among the best chicken strips around. Red robin does have, what I feel are the best mozzarella sticks you can get at a restaurant of this caliber. This location happens to be my go to, as the lakewood Towne center one sucks real bad, at everything. I have had an issue at this one twice in last 16 years and both times it was resolved quickly and acceptably. The wait is never as long as they say it might be and normally the food comes out pretty quick after ordering. My only quarrel with this place is when I order fries, I always order them extra crispy... and for whatever reason, they never get it right the first time. This is fine, because they have endless fries and I am able to order more at no extra cost. The prices are pretty average, not gouging but not a screaming deal either. The kids menu has a little bit of everything and is pretty fairly priced as well. My daughter is a pizza connoisseur and she says the kids pizza is no good, but she loves everything else.

I have been to many Red Robins in my lifetime. Now that I live near Lakewood my wife and I decided it was high time we tried this location to see if it is worth it. Once you get past all the tomfoolery that is their birthday song being sung half a dozen times during your meal, it isn't too bad. Like all their locations they have roughly the same menu and only tend to change it up seasonally. The drinks are not bad but the beer selection isn't all that great. I would love to see more options on the craft beers. It seems that you can only get the tasty beers in a bottle and not draft. The mixed drinks are always a poor choice mainly because I am told that they are only allowed to put in 3 shots in your drink so if it calls for 4 different shots of liquor, you will get two of the shots cut in half. Not sure if that is true and a local legend but it seems about right. As for the food, the burgers are usually very good and my personal favorite is the Clucks and Fries. Chicken tenders that always taste good. What can you say? It is a franchise restaurant and you will always come out with decent food, it all comes down to service and on our visit the service was great.

Burgers are okay. I feel like they could be better. There's time when burgers are very good and times when they're bland. I think it just depends on how busy they are, and boy do they get busy. Prices are a bit steep for burgers. I still come here because I love the bottomless fries. That's very good in a restaurant. TIP: If you're heavy on the fries order your refill ahead so you won't have to wait.

As far as red robins go, I'd say avoid this one. The tables were very dirty and the plates our food came on were covered in greasy fingerprints and looked like they hadn't been washed. The food was very sub par for red robins, microwave bacon and cheap knock offs of the quality ingredients that the menu listed. There is definitely no love put in here.

I'm trying the new smoke & pepper burger. Another nice experience at RR. The kiddo now starts chanting "burger burger" whenever we even drive by. On this day our waitress was a rock star. We were seating in the solarium area along with all the other families with small children. I never mind being separated from other diners this way- no one is bothered by my excitable child and I don't feel uncomfortable either. Man, were there a lot of families present. Some with five or more kids to a table. But our waitress took care of everyone with grace and efficiency. Bottomless fries FTW!

Food has always been great, but the service has been a bit spotty. When they are extremely busy, it seems hard for them to keep on top of orders, who is there first, etc. Overall they are clean, delicious, and like most Red Robins. I do have to say, they are EXCELLENT at handling our large party that comes in once a month after a meeting :)

Been to this location a handful of times. Food is always consistent and wait staff quick and friendly. I can't but help get the Crispy Chicken Burger every time, it's so good. We got the breaded mushrooms last time and it was a pleasant surprise. The mushrooms were huge and the breading crispy.

The wife and I have been going to Red Robin forever, and this location in particular is one of our favorites. The main reason for that is the service we receive. We always have really great servers. There are two waitresses there that we prefer to always be seated in their sections. They always make sure we are taken care of and they also are very personable. They make sure to try and make a connection with us and it definitely helps when it comes time to tip. The food itself is great. I feel like they always taste great no matter where we go. I had the Banzai Burger, and as always, I loved it. The wife had the Bleu Ribbon Burger and she was in love. The garlic parmesan fries were okay. I always wish for more garlic. We also got the cheesecake and it wasn't disappointing. All in all, this is our Red robin go to spot.

Horrible service. Cold food. Dirty restrooms. Upon entering I was not greeted promptly even though there was not a wait. I ordered a garden burger and they came out with a beef burger. As I am not vegetarian I didn't send it back but I see this as a HUGE issue. Check your food before you bite. As the waiter checked on our table we asked for more fries that never materialized. I was appalled at the service and the food. I would point my worst enemy away from this Red Robin location.

A recent visit emphasized why chain restaurants aren't worth my time or money. French dip is usually a safe thing to order. Hard to mess it up. My French dip (billed as prime rib dip) was dry and close to being tasteless. You would think the au jus would help. You would be wrong. There wasn't enough of the au jus (or is it just jus?) to get much past the first half of the sandwich anyway. The fries were unexciting. My companions had similarly uninspiring meals. The server was friendly, but never offered to refill my ice tea -- and apparently didn't hear me when I asked for a refill. Wouldn't have come here if my friend hadn't wanted to go to a place where she could look up the calorie count of the menu items. Hope I don't have to come back.

It's a red robin. Tasty junk food, fries that are delicious when they're hot and fresh and awful when they aren't (which is often). I'm starting to think they are trying to save a few bucks by understaffing- every time I've been there lately I've been served by a waitress so crazy busy we can't get napkins, water refills or forks. Two visits ago, I took my son into the restroom to change his diaper, and noticed a disturbingly unsafe situation with the changing table... It's way high off the ground, and the buckle end is ripped off, so somebody just tied the two ends together- ha! So four feet off the ground and over a toilet, you're supposed to thread your squirming child under the tight cord. I mentioned it to the manager who pretended to be surprised and assured me they'd see to it. Next visit- nothing changed. The ladies room in general needs some attention too, but I'm more willing to overlook that than the dangerous changing table.

I've been coming here since I was a little girl and it hasn't changed a bit. Everything around it has changed! But it hasn't. :) The waitress who helped us was awesome, which made the experience very cool. And I was also with my Mom and Sister, making it just super awesome! We started out with the tower of onion rings - you can't go wrong with those! As well as a round of RR's silly fun drinks. I think I got a Sand in your Pants, or something like that. hehe For the main course, I had the crispy chicken sandwich, which was yummy yummy. I'm very pleased we had lunch here. Brought back some really cool memories from long ago and my taste buds were happy indeed!

I like Red Robin period. Since I was a kid I always loved their clucks and fries or whatever, and as a grown up (heehee) I still like their burgers and bottomless fries. I used to come here quite often to indulge in the bottomless fries with the poppyseed honey mustard, ranch and bbq sauce. Service is whatever, decor is kitschy, it's too loud and crowded but the fries are worth it for me. I haven't been back in like 2.5 years but whatevers, still good times!

I've been coming here since I was a kid... which in rabbit years equates to 373.2 years; makes you wonder how Bugs Bunny looked so dapper for a bunny of his age, eh? I'm not going to weave a tail for you about how this RR is the most amazing place on the planet. It's a Red Robin. It's very hit or miss here depending on... everything. BUT... I've had more good experiences here then I've had bad and my last experience here garnered an extra star from me. This is yet another place that I wasn't sure I could eat at during WLC but home slice and I thought we'd give it a go. Not only was our server ridiculously knowledgeable regarding their menu and ingredients but she was more than happy to check on things for us and make suggestions. I ended up with unseasoned sweat potato fries, a burger paddy and fried egg wrapped in lettuce and I couldn't have been happier. Eating out, not having to cook/clean and having the closest thing to a burger and fries I've had in month... I was in heaven and nearly died from the joy. The cook even ran out to our table twice to make sure she had our orders right and to make sure she didn't accidentally do something to our food that violated our self imposed diet. I was obviously missing bacon and a mint cookie shake as part of my meal but that will just have to wait. At this point I'm stoked on a menu that I could work with, staff members who sincerely wanted to help and a clean/fun place to dine. I'm a fan! Next time... I'm going to pwn that claw-grab machine!

Stopped in to lunch for the first time at this Red Robin. Probably won't be back. I sat in the bar area and it took 10 minutes for the server to stop and get a drink order. Finally put in a food order and it took another 25 minutes to receive. Server never stopped back to see if I wanted any more of the bottomless steak fries, I had to flag her down to order - wasn't surprised that it took another 10 minutes to get about ten more fries. Food was typical Red Robin, but was luke-warm when it finally arrived. I've been to other Red Robins that had much better service.

It's what you'd expect. Tavern Double is a good deal. It's a regular chain restaurant you take the family when you're not trying to break the bank. Not a wide selection of food. Service is regular. Ambiance is regular. As regular as regular gets.

I love red robin and I have been to this one several times because its by my house and it sucks the service is always terrible and last time even though i asked for my burger well done it was pink and in the middle it was actaully raw not even cooked sooooo gross.

Frequent this Red Robin on a pretty regular basis and it was sad to say the service has been on the decline and tonight was probably the last time I will attempt to dine at this particular restaurant. The restaurant hours on the phone say open until 11pm. After arriving at 10:03pm and waiting for several minutes without being acknowledged by more than one staff member we left to get better service at the Applebee's down the street. Hope the service can improve for a possible return for the Red Robin experience everyone expects.

Entering the restaurant I looked around and noticed it wasn't even close to as busy as it usually is, so I thought "Yay! We'll have good and speedy service". However that thought was quickly drown! After being seated it took 10 minutes to have our server Tiffani come over and greet us and due to the shock and "oh crap" I saw her mouth we'd been forgotten about. Anyways we ordered our food, drinks and asked for fries to start. When our meal came out the manager (I assume) is the one that brought the food out. He was gone before I realized we didn't have utensils for our food. We both had chicken burgers but I needed to cut mine in half and add the mayo I had gotten on the side to my burger. Still I could not get the attention of our server and alas had to tear my sandwich in half by hand and use the tiny wooden pick that was stuck in my sandwich to apply my mayo. Yeah not sure how sanitary that was! We were never checked on during our meal and my husband had been out of his drink since our appetizer. He was actually coughing while trying to eat and had to keep taking sips of my water. FINALLY when the meal was almost finished our server once again noticed us came over and asked how we were doing. Upset by now I asked if my husband could please get another Coke and she said sure. Then proceeded to take someone elses order, check on another group for the 4th time since we arrived, cash out 2 other orders and disappeared for a bit before finally bringing the drink. At that point he was finished with his meal and asked for the check and a togo box for myself. This isn't the first time we've had extremely poor service from this particular Red Robin and if we ever choose to come back I'm sure it will happen again. We like the burgers so maybe we will just take the extra drive to another location if we decide to dine with Red Robin again. I do not recommend this particular location unless you want slow service and being forgotten about.

Don't really have anything negative about this place that I can think of but there also isn't anything positive that really sticks out either. I've never walked away unsatisfied. I usually always order the barbeque whiskey wrap because it's not totally unhealthy and it tastes amazing! One of my favorite restaurants for sure.

As someone stated, Red Robin is one of your typically big chain burger restaurants. However, my husband and son love eating here due to their sweet potatoes fries, I like it myself as it is not heavily seasoned with salt. Things to try: Baja Turkey Sandwich - Yummy! and the roasted green chile really brings out the taste. Spicy Chicken Burger - It is not on the menu but you can ask to server for it. This burger is Spicy and tastes really good.

Kitchen staff worked hard, although thereiwere holes in my burger where they were checking temp, but it was cooked fine. Waitress summer was great. The decor is outdated, never seen a red robin with carpet. The girl who wore the red polo working the station that puts the silverware in the napkins was putting her fingers in her mouth and on her lips several times while talking to a make employee who had gotten off his shift around 8:30pm last night. She has acrylic nails and did not wash her hands, but continued to touch the silverware while stocking them for future use. I didnt tell anyone and used a french fry instead of the knife on my table, but the table next to me saw too and laughed at her obvious flirting with the guy. Noticed lots of people in street clothes behind the glass partition b*llsh**ting with staff helping themselves to condiments and items. Noticed several staffers eating right before they grabbed food to take to tables. Wondered of they were eating fries off peope's plates/baskets? kinda made the place scummy. Wonder if they have health inspectors or a too relaxed general manager? :-( Felt bad for the people who were workIng hard.

I took the kids here today, I have enjoyed Red Robin for many years and will continue to randomly patronize other locations but not this one! The table we were first shown to be seated at was filthy. I was surprised by the condition and the fact the Hostess actually tried to seat us there! The chairs were covered with food and God knows what else?. I told her we needed another table that was "clean", and showed her the mess, she moved us along without any interest or concern that a ready table she tried to seat us at was filthy. The table we did sit at was not much better. It looked clean but was sticky, as were the menus(Do they ever clean the menus?) We waited almost 30 minutes to have our orders taken. The waiter kept walking by saying, I'll be right there. It wasn't that busy. This ruins anyone's experience quickly. I literally could have driven to the nearest Safeway, brought the hamburger back and cooked it faster than we were served. The server blew by us repeatedly without re filling our sodas, or checking on us. Did I mention it was not that busy? I really hope someone who manages this location near the Tacoma Mall reads this. I won't be coming back.

Red robin does have good for a chain. Everyone knows what to expect food wise coming into this place. These 2 stars are based on the service. Saw our waitress Stacy twice. Once to take our order and the next to hand us our bill. We ate at the bar- thinking we'd have quicker service. Yeah right. She forgot a couple things. Had to ask the gal who brought our food out. There were a lot of waitresses hanging out at the bar folding napkins no one asked if we needed anything. I agree with most reviews on here. Service is definitely not there.

I always feel a little weird leaving reviews for multiple locations of chain restaurants - you know what you're getting yourself into, for the most part. However, there are a few things that push this Red Robin location above the other locations I've visited recently. I have a kid with diagnosed food allergies. Getting the frequently teenaged staff in most chain places to take this any kind of seriously is usually an unwelcome frustration to attempting a meal. I've never had trouble with it at this location - I have yet to need to send back a burger for coming with a regular bun rather than gluten-free, fries for arriving with seasoning salt, or anything else. They seem to get it. Beyond staff competence, I recently dropped in to treat my kid for waiting patiently through a car service appointment and noticed that they'd done away with the throw-away kids cups - now your kids get a regular shatter-resistant tumbler with a lid and straw. So much less waste, no hassle from the kid about wanting to take the cup home! A win for everyone. As with all Red Robin locations, I suggest you stick with ordering burgers or deep-fried chicken items - really, that's what these places were built on serving and that's where you are going to get the most standard experience.

I go have gone here once/twice a month for the last three years (close between my two jobs so it's an easy-normally fast meal between a double shift). The service has severely gone down hill. Today was the last straw and I will choose Jimmy Johns and Pho before Red Robin every time. Today I went up to the bar where I normally sit, and tried to order my meal and immediately was struck with poor service and an attitude. The bartender was rude about my age(25) and I was never end asked if I wanted anything to drink and my boyfriend had to chase someone down for a beer. After twenty minutes of no contact or drinks our meals came in a to-go bag. I politely ask for a plate because it was not a to-go order. The bartender tolled her eyes and walked away loudly grumbled and dumped my meal on a plate and gave it back to me. I listened to the bartender and waitress complain because someone called out sick and say nothing but four letter words and complaints for a couple minutes. Two bus boys came up to ask if they needed help and they started to give them a laundry list of things to do and when they came back with the first request they started rudely speaking to the two bus boys about how useless they were. Absolutely unacceptable. I had to ask for my check and left. 45 minute meal from hell. No one who treats customers and other employees like that should be represented by any company. The amount of free time the bartender/waitress spent cursing and complaining could have been better spent since they were apparently short staffed.

Of all the Red Robin's I have ever been too, I would have to say that my local Tacoma mall location is by the best...... Keeping in mind the location, the fact that this is yet again another chain type restaurant, most of my personal experiences have been pretty decent. I varied on giving them 3 stars but what stands out is the manager of this location that has been here for quite sometime. I unfortunately can't remember his name but if you have been here a few or more times you know who I am talking about, because I see him checking on customers, helping bring out meals and so forth. The food is always good here, fries pretty much on hand when you need and want. The service as far as speed of course varies as this location can be EXTREMELY busy and crowded. Yay for this Red Robin location, I am a forever fan:)

this is the worst red robin I have ever been to. red robin should do themselves a favor and take their name off the building. had this been my first experience with red robin, I wouldn't have ever gone to another one. I definitely will never return to this one. my hub and and I wen in and sat at the bar, which was absolutely filthy, and sticky. the bar was only half full and it took the bar tender 15 minutes to get us a couple of beers. we ordered a couple of burgers and the bottomless fries. we love fries, just not those fries. the whole meal presentation and taste were terrible.it took 30 minutes to get our food. neither of our burgers were cooked right. the bacon on mine was practically raw. my husband's burger was so greasy that the cheese had slipped half way off the bun. they fries were so soggy, I couldn't even eat mine. then one of the employees came out of the kitchen area, and leaned up against the bar to talk to the bar tender right next to me. he stunk badly. like he needed to go home and take a shower and wash his clothes. I know the trend some people go by is to wear their pants half way off their butt. that is just not acceptable while working though. I don't even think he had underwear on. I scooted my chair away from him. he turned and gave me a dirty look and said something. he had such a heavy accent I couldn't understand what. my husband put money on the counter to pay for our order and we left immediately. didn't finish our drinks m and we obviously weren't going to eat the food. the thought that he may have prepared our food was beyond nauseating.

I wrote a review back in March of 2012 after getting some very lousy fish and chips. I said then that I may never return to this location. Well, I was invited to a birthday celebration last evening so I decided to try again. This time I ordered a chicken burger. I've had better tasting food from a vending machine. How long can a restaurant survive on it's name alone? The name Red Robin used to mean that you could pretty much depend on getting some fabulous food for a decent price. I know how strictly the food quality was monitored. What happened? Is it just this Tacoma location? Are people in Tacoma so used to getting mediocre food that they don't know what good food is? For sure, I will not return to this location. I may try a Seattle location where Red Robin got it's Northwest start.

As Red Robins go this one is par for the course. Bottomless fries, great strawberry lemonade, and decent burgers. This Tacoma location near the mall is typically extremely busy, lots of kids and birthday parties. We normally sit in the bar area for this reason. Overall it's pretty loud inside on most occasions. Service is fast and kitchen doesn't waste any time getting the food out which is nice. The bar has a couple TV's to watch the games. Parking can be challenging as the shopping center isn't large and always busy.

A tale of two visits: Once upon a time, I went to Red Robin because I was craving TGI Friday's (the Minnesota caliber one) and my friends assured me that Red Robin was similar and better. We arrived, were seated, and ordered within about three minutes. I ordered the pesto chicken foccacia sandwich and garlic steak fries. Food arrived in about 8 minutes... That's awesome, although sometimes you have to wonder if things are being made TOO fast, but it was 4 in the afternoon and it was pretty empty so no worries. Sandwich was delicious, genuinely. Obviously all the components were premade, there's no doubt of it, but I was pleasantly impressed and they make damn good steak fries. I had two Mudslides. Most of you know this is a bad idea. Two chocolate shakes with alcohol. Oh well. They were yummy. I was tipsy. Washed it all down with a Stella ON TAP. Holy sh*t victory. Red Robin - 1 Michael K - Horrifyingly white The End. Twice upon a time, I went to the Red Robin in Issaquah, located right by the strip mall with Trader Joe's and such. I was there with a coworker of mine, who I had been working with for almost a year, and yet never really spoken too. She was very cute, very intelligent, would become an ex girlfriend (irrelevant to the story.) We are seated immediately. We order the artichoke dip to start, and then nice platters of fried shrimp and steak fries. We chat, we eat, we talk. Life is grand. We stick with water because she's allergic to alcohol. The food is really good, again, I'm pleasantly surprised, again. Fast forward - It's 1:24 am... I'm on my knees in the bathroom, introducing the lining of my stomach to the toilet. Not the oh I just ate too much fried food, introduction. The OMFG did they cook the f*cking shrimp enough, introduction. Worst case of food poisoning I've ever had. 2:12 am... Phone rings... Hey, it's (girl), I just sh*t out my soul... good game. So, I'm not sure what to say... Tacoma Red Robin - 1 Issaquah Red Robin - 0 Shame really... Haven't been back since. Stomach says no.

I have always been a fan on RR. This one is always busy, but here's a little tip that most know anyways, if you don't have kids the bar usually have room to sit. Quicker service and you're away from the constant birthday songs being sung to little johnny and the rest of the crying kids! I have too many favorite burgers but here are a few; Banzai, Whiskey River, California. The one that is no long on the menu that you might still be able to order is the Santa Fe. Good stuff and always get your fries extra crispy!

So as far as Red Robins go, this one is pretty nice. I came here with a family group after an event down in Tacoma. There were 7 of us, including one child, and they were able to seat us on a busy Tuesday night within 10 minutes. There seemed to be at least 2-3 other groups there so it was nice to be able to be sat quickly. Our server was super friendly and the entire staff was quite attentive to our table. Only once did my water glass go empty and I think that was partly because I was tucked into the corner where my glass wasn't evident. They were quick about bringing out the food and everybody got exactly what they ordered. The only bad part about this Red Robin is they actually had a staff member roaming around dressed up as "Red." And I hate stuff like that. It seems that he was coming and sitting down at tables and talking with people. I think he got the stink eye from nearly all of us at our table so he stayed away - thankfully.

Service was inadequate She took forever to bring our drinks She gave us the sauce for our fries after we had finished eating them The food was mediocre I ordered Mac and cheese and it tasted like it was under the warmer for a bit although it had the illusion of cheesy goodness. The clam chowder was watery. Had a burger last time and it was ok. No wonder I'm not a fan of this place.

Family restaurant. One of our more frequented ones. We have been to around 5 different location in I believe 3 different states. This ones food was the same quality as the others we have been to but the service wasn't that great. The waitress was very slow. I'm really not a hard person to please when it comes to eating at restaurants but when I have to wait 15 - 20 minutes before you come by to get our drink order I get a bit disappointed. Also, she dropped off the check, then disappeared. My fiancé was going to order a desert but after waiting 30 minutes for her to come back after dropping off the check he just decided it wasn't worth it and paid instead. Bit disappointed with this visit. This was our second time at this location, different server but same disappointing service.

Pretty much the same as every other red robin. Decent burgers for a cheap price. What isn't the same is the waiters who seem to be more concerned with dropping your bill off before you even receive your appetizers, and some that are more concerned with catching up with an old friend for 10+ minutes rather than get the ranch dressing we asked for.

I gave this particular experience a 3 only because the awesome food brought it back up from a 0! The food always great. The Service: Our server was okay, nothing special. She seemed not able to handle her somewhat busy section. When we ordered our food we asked for a basket of fires and they came latterly right before our food came. My food was great , but my friends foods didn't come as she ordered it, so it was sent back. Later when it finally made it back to our table, there was a hair in her burger!!! After it was sent back for the final time, the manger came out and said it would be on the house. It made it back and everything was fin ebut by that time we had already eaten our food and she couldn't take the time go enjoy hers. I have to say if this could be rated by category. Server: 3.75/5 Customer Service: 5/5 Cooks: You OWE me some stars!!!!! :-(

Freezing cold inside & raining outside! Someone didn't check the weather. Besides the frost bite, the service was decent. When we first arrived we were seated almost immediately. Our server was busy but she did stop by our table to let us know she will return soon. She allowed us extra time to browse the menu but did take our order once we were ready. The gentleman that brought our food out (I'm assuming the manager) repeated our order and made sure everything was correct. He reminded us that our fries were bottomless and offered to get refills on our drinks. Our waitress came by after we got started to see if everything was to our liking and she said she would get our next round of fries ready if we wanted. The burger was a little over cooked but the grilled chicken was perfect! She brought us our check and explained that she had a large group recently come in and she wanted to make sure we had time to review and handle our check before they consumed most of her time. I appreciated her saying that because I hate waiting around for a check once I'm ready to go! Overall what I expect when I go to a Red Robin chain. The issue came later, my husband and I both felt sick once we got home. Not sure why or what happened, but this was the only place we shared a meal that entire day. Maybe someone didn't properly wash their hands before cooking/serving? Ick!!

I love Red Robin because they give me reliable cheap meals. Consistency is sometimes a problem but what I like is that it's never too big of a problem to fix quickly. If you don't like what they bring you they fix it quickly. I don't think I've experienced poor service here ever, Well wait, there was that one time when I ordered a ginger ale and rather than telling me that they didn't know how to make them or they didn't have them they went to the dollar tree next door and bought a six pack for a $1 and charged me $3 for it. How'd I know it was from there? Because the server brought the rest of the six pack to me when I asked for a refill and told me that got it from the Dollar Tree. I was a bit appalled by that and Red Robin & I broke up after that for a while after that but we're back together now. I now know never to order ginger ale from Red Robin. Stick with burgers, fries and cheese sticks :)

Seafood scatter deserves a 5 star and so does the shrimp.. The waitress was great always making sure our drinks were full the appetizers were great the jalapeno coins were the bomb.. I actually got shrimp and clams that were not over cooked like many of the non chain restaurants do it bravo guys bravo!! The strawberry lemonade is the best!! This was me and the GF's date night and she was just as please with the fish and chips.. she commented its not greasy..

I've had a lot of not so great experiences with this Red Robin. Not sure what it is, but a few times, including the last time we stopped by in November, I don't get any service at all. I've stood in the entry area and been ignored by every employee who walks by for 10 minutes. Last time, we sat in the bar area for at least 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Each time I leave and go elsewhere. The time before that, I was encouraged to sign up for the royalty card (free). We had just stopped for drinks, but if we signed up, we'd get a free appetizer. The catch was that we had to register online at the restaurant. They don't have wi-fi so I couldn't use my iPod, so I tried on my phone, but it wasn't working right. Then the server left her phone with me so I could use her phone. She'd told us that she was required to get at least one registration per shift or she wouldn't get put on the schedule and if she didn't get people to sign up while there, they usually didn't when they got home and the registration wouldn't count. She was nice and helpful, so we obliged, but it took almost the entire time we were there since it was on a phone. That was frustrating. The food is good. I like that I can sub a Boca burger patty for free since I'm a vegetarian. They have a nice variety of foods on the menu and it's not overly huge. The appetizers are tasty and they often have specials. The drinks are also mighty tasty and of decent strength. I have found that I usually need to ask for more bottomless fries, but they always bring them pretty quickly. Prices are a little on the high side for what you get. I can get twice as much at the Loose Wheel for a couple dollars less, so I'd usually choose to go there instead if I wanted a burger. It can get a bit loud in there with the kids, but the bar is up a few steps so you don't have to deal with any kids running around if you're up there. It's definitely kid friendly. There's several TVs in the bar so you can catch a game if it's on. My biggest complaint over the past several years is being ignored there. I shouldn't have to ask for service and it doesn't take much for an employee, regardless of whether they are waitstaff or not, to simply acknowledge me and send someone my way. There's plenty of restaurants in the area that will acknowledge me so I tend to go to those places instead.

Went there for dinner called to make sure they were open. The lady said they were open until 11PM. Got there at 10 and waiting in the lobby for over five minutes while employees walked by not saying a word just looking at us. By far the worst service I've ever received at a red robin. I left and called to let them know to keep a better eye on the door and the girl was rude and didn't care.

Red Robin use to be my place as a teenager. Its where i took my then gf now wife to on our first date in Oregon. So needless to say I have a certain biased affection to the place. Its normally busy, little loud but great place for groups. The bottomless steak fries are great though sometimes a little over seasoned. Great selection of burgers but with the removal of my 5 Alarm Burger and "my drink" Hawaiian Heart Throb knocked it down a notch. Or rather they changed the recipe. Prices are little bit on the higher end especially with Blazing Onion across the bridge that offers same amount of burgers and unlimited fries as well. The last time I was there the service was superb! Every time i was running low on my drink it was refilled before i emptied it. I didn't have to ask for another basket of fries and when it didn't arrive promptly he apologized and immediately came back with 2 baskets of fries. Its overall a great place to go with a group, prices are little bit on the higher end of things. If your looking for a quiet place this isn't it.

Red Robin has some truly great food quality at reasonable prices. I am a former server there, and I know they hold themselves to top-notch standards, especially in Tacoma. I had the BBQ Chicken Salad there the other night, which is the first time I've been in for any months, and it was just as good as ever. Many more menu items to choose from than there was just a couple years ago, and the food presentation is more impressive.

Lots of parking, but it can be difficult to get into, since its so close to the Mall. After you are finished eating, you can walk on over to Half Priced Books to find some great deals! Anyways, this spot is usually very busy, even strange times (like 9pm on a Saturday Night!). If you are over 21, you can beat some of the long wait if you go into the bar to order, however, service in there can be fairly slow, it depends on how many they have working in the bar. A bummer is that Red Robin no longer has happy hour in the bar, which is a shame. They have pretty standard fare, lots of burger and chicken burger options, a few healthier options (such as wraps, salads). Standard appetizer options. I like the Blackened Bayou Burger, it has red peppers on it, as well grilled onions. The fries are bottomless, so come here if you are really hungry! If you have any room left in your tummy, try the mountain high mud cake, Its a dessert fit for two!

Don't ever go here when they're busy-trust me. If you must, go to the one in Lakewood. Usually I can count on a decent burger from Red Robin, but they managed to mess that up too last night. My burger was absolutely dry and tasteless, fries weren't fresh-we watched food sit, waiting to be picked up for about 10 minutes. Though our server offered to have fresh burgers made for us, we were completely disheartened at this point and opted no. -We became even more disgusted as an employee, while busing tables, sat at a dining table next to us to text on a cell phone.

Great place to go if you have young children and are looking for a quick dinner. However, if my children weren't with me this would not be a restaurant I would frequent.

Came here for a takeout order, and was guided to the bar area to order. The staff were friendly and helpful, and told us that it would take about 15 minutes. My husband and I settled into a table and watched some TV. Half an hour later, we realized that our food never came. After asking about it, it came right away. When we got it home, it was luke warn and the fries had already traveled into that "cold gumby" stage. Apparently our order had been sitting there on the counter, ready to roll, for a long time, and the staff at this location ignored it. I don't think I'll go here again if I can help it.

Overpriced burger franchise. The menu is to busy , pricy and the place way too crowded. The service is lacking all aspects of professionalism, curtsey and speed. The food is warm at best when it arrives at your table (usually have to wait 30+ minutes) - the drinks are a little pricy and lack alcohol. Its a good hang out for the younger and family crowd which I cool with. Here are a few issue I have: The portions are small compared to other establishments $8 - $12 for a burger $4 - $7 for a beer All you can eat fries if you want to wait 30 minutes per order and SALTY. The deserts are okay - nothing great just okay. I think if they spent less money on the interior to improve their menu and service I would be willing to give them three stars.

So we walk in the door and two very nice young ladies smile and say hello. Rochelle I think was one of there names. The service was very good and the food was not bad either. Great place to stop for a quick lunch. My only real complaint is that the burgers are all $10.00 and they really should be about $6.00 however, should add that my chili burger was really good.

Have been going to this particular Red Robin for 15+ years. Through that time, it has been relatively consistent with good food. But service, on the other hand, isn't so consistent: have had some of the best servers, and some of the worst; some that hover and interrupt so much that the meal and conversation aren't enjoyed, but other times were we've waited 10+ minutes just to get our check. Management is the key: there is a GREAT manager named Ken, and when he is working, service is great. He also works like crazy helping servers and talking with customers. Other managers, not so much, if at all.

A friend of mine is a vegetarian and the waitress was super nice about making sure that her order was vegetarian friendly. She came back multiple times to ask about certain aspects of the dish to make sure that it was alright with her being a vegetarian. I would definitely go back there again.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love me some Red Robin. California Chicken Burger, oh yea. The all you can eat fries, the any dipping sauce you like. Red Robin is like Chuck-E-Cheese for grown folks. A great group or after work spot. Yum.

What to say about Red Robin... well for starters it is located near the Tacoma Mall inside of a complex and while the parking lot is spacious, it can sometimes be difficult to find a spot near the door. If you don't mind walking a little you can usually find one quickly. Even if you parked in the furthest spot you would only be walking a minute or two. Once you get inside, you usually have to find your way to the front. It is a popular place and people will almost always be there. If you are fortunate enough and over 21 you can usually walk into the bar and find a table right away. I have almost always had great service. I get what I ask for on my custom orders and the service is normally fast. If it is extremely busy little things can get mixed up or forgotten. I have asked for a lime before when it was very busy and not received it, but nothing major and nothing that ruins my order or experience. I would recommend this place.

ugh... another place that i liked in Ohio that seems to have somehow lost its luster out here. service was slow even though there were lots of empty tables and waiters roaming around. all five of us had already decided what we wanted before the waitress even returned to take out drink orders. which wouldn't have been a big deal if it hadn't been like 15 minutes. onion rings, good; burger, good; fries, a little soggy; service, let me think of a good analogy here... the service was speedy like a covered wagon in the fast lane on I-5. yeah thats a good one...
