On this vist things were better than last. I think I had a waitress in training and it helped that I was here at opening time so it was dead. I did the all you can eat Tuesday special. Can never go wrong with 3 mile sauce. In the end service was better than last time. I'm assuming that it being empty really helped. So I moved it from 2 stars to 3 stars this trip.

Had a great time with friends, thank you Britany for the excellent service. Food was great, atmosphere was fun and the staff were spot on.

I love Hooters! When I travel south, I always make a stop at the Tacoma Hooters. I come for wings. The food is great, which is why I am giving it 4 stars. The service isn't as consistent though. It is hit or miss in terms of service. There are a few servers who really do a great job, and there are a few that aren't very good. Sadly, that brings down the service levels if you visit a restaurant often. This is a great location for watching sports on TV. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it can get loud. Loud? It's a Hooters, and of course it can get loud! I also like coming to this location, as it is usually full of men and women that serve our country. Yes, I always have to thank a few of them as I leave the restaurant. Thanks to those who serve! Hooters has expanded its wing sauce offerings! This was a welcoming to me, as I like to consider myself a wing pro. I will be visiting again soon, and I am hopeful that I can raise the star level. Again, the food is consistent and good. The service needs to be consistent too.

So, my husband and I went here a few days ago to grab some wings. I had been wanting to try Hooters for a while now, and we decided since Buffalo Wild Wings was PACKED, that we would go here. Let me tell you, the wings were aweful. The service? Those ladies couldn't figure out who was waiting on our table, quite annoying watching them get close to catty. Lastly, the way our server kept talking to us, like WE were slow or something, I found quite rude. The only thing slow there was the 45 minute wait for our food.... AFTER they messed it up in the first place. Never returning.

Big Wings! But, the only one left in WA.. Boo! Come here a few times a year and it has been good, but this time.. a classic! Their server told us they changed their sauces for the better. My wife had their new and improved spicy garlic wings and it was indeed spicier. I had the bbq and they were perfect; they were big, crunchy, and tasty. We also had the nachos and it was tasty like Taco Bell, but better! It was the first time we ordered them and I thought they were on the menu for a long time. The chips were light and crunchy, toppings were tasty, not too much meat though, but would have been over the top if more. We also had 'Man Size' beers to go along with a Seahawks Win! We need more Hooters outside of Tac-Town. Bring back locations in Seattle and have some in Kent, Federal Way would be really nice! Better than Buffalo. Hooty Hoo

I'm not sure why this place is considered a family restaurant but I'm just going to go with it. We went on a Tuesday during happy hour and all you can eat wings. The wings are huge and they come out pretty fast so no complaints on that end. The only problem is that when you order them with the flavor (such as garlic parmesan) they are drenched in sauce that it's almost too flavorful to eat but when you order them plain with a side of sauce, the wings are so hot to dip that the sauce falls off. Lol. I can't win. The only real complaint I would have are their mixed drinks. I ordered a strawberry lemondrop under the assumption that they would use a higher end vodka such as goose or kettle one, but they used McCorrmicks and still charged me at a higher rate. I don't know of any other places that do that.

Not sure why I keep giving this another chance other than it's the only of the brand this side of the state. Three for three on slow service. One of three times my order was right and once my car was hit in the lot. Today it my order was right but the table next to me took three tries. Expect what you do from the hooters brand but divvy come in with expectations beyond that. Wish one would get opened in Puyallup or that direction.

Coming from Florida, and the home of the original Hooters, I've been craving these wings for a long time. And surprisingly, this place did not disappoint. They have an updated menu with a few different sauce flavors, but they were awesome nonetheless. The 45 drive south from Seattle was worth it. We'll be back when we have our next Hooters craving.

I usually like the food from hooters. I did this time as well, but my tummy did not. My girlfriend and I got the new spicy garlic recipie, I got traditional wings and she got naked ones. Hers were noticeably less greasy than mine but still very greasy. As soon as we started eating them our stomachs were not happy... the next two days the bathroom was our "office". Don't think we'll be back again. The fried pickles were good though.

Hello, First id like to say ive never had any problem with the food at hooters or their service. Ive been all around the states and never had such a bad experience at a hooters. Hope to hear back from the corporate office since my visit there was not resolved, sorry to use the word but a asshole of a manager!!!! Very unprofessional due to the fact that they served me RAW chicken and i have proof!!!! Didnt even apologize or anything ... My Army buddie and his daughter went to dinner around 7 in the night and sat there for dine in.. after being there for 30 or so minutes we finally get our drinks. Wasnt upset i understand it can be busy (when there is only one waiter for half the place.) We get our food and immediately leave due to an emergency we had back home right so we asked for some boxes ( barely ate to remind you ) and told her we where in a hurry to leave and to bring the check right away if it wasn't any trouble. So she brought it quickly and i was very surprise left a nice big tip. Went home ate started eating noticed the meat tasted funny so i opened it up and inside the chicken it was RAW. Woke up at 3 ish throwing my guts up and end up in the EMERGENCY ROOM ALL NIGHT.. Frustrated at the fact my food was raw i went before the store opened up and the manager was outside thankfully. I approach and very nicely told him my situation and asked for a refund (the least they could do). Right away the manager got all offended and didnt believe me after i showed him proof. I MESSED UP ON MY PART BY NOT TAKING THE RECEIPT AND LEAVING IT AFTER I PAYED SO I DIDNT HAVE PROOF ACCORDING TO THE MANAGER. Thats the biggest bullshit excuse to not owning up to the food and not wanting to give me my money back or even apologize. I was there a few hours ago and i told him exactly what time i got there what time i left who helped me and exactly the amont the bill came up to be, even down to the exact money i gave them. ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. The bill wasn't alot but i thought i might share this because unprofessional people like that shouldnt be running a business.

Love hooters.....for the wings!!! Yes I actually do come here for the chicken wings, not the reasons that most people think of when they think of Hooters. This is the only Hooters in Washington. There use to be 2, then they expanded and built 2 more so then they were up to 4 in Washington.. Now there is only one.....yes thats right the other three closed....it kinds sucks i have to come all the way to tacoma for good wings but they are totally worth it!!

I had forgotten why I stopped going to Hooters until I got my food. Over priced and the wings were terrible. Ready to go back to my room and get sick. So many restraint choices out there and I felt the need to give hooters another chance. Not again!!

  • Annie T.

I can't believe I'm giving 4 stars to Hooters, and in tacoma of all places, but boy I was impressed with the food here! Their wings were really good and crispy, espcially the naked ones without the breading. I enjoyed them much more than Buffalo Wild Wings, which tend to be hard and dry. Service is slow and non-existent, so don't come when you are in a hurry. Their lunch specials are very generously portioned. For $7.99, you get 7 strips of chicken tenders (buffalo or regular) and a ton of fries, which I think is cheaper than McDonalds!

Came to Hooters for the first time last night. I always heard how great their wings were. I was the only one in the group of four that didn't order wings. I ordered the shrimp po boy with tater tots and fried pickles. The first server we had was helpful and recommended a sauce that we would probably not have thought to order and it was really good. She let us know she was only covering our table while our normal server was on break. We got our food and one friend had ordered boneless wings, they brought out bone-in wings. Our server, Michelle, said we could go ahead and munch on them, so the group ate some. As soon as she brought my friend's boneless wings she asked for messed up order back. My friend replied "Oh, no worries, we're munching on them." and she said "Well, then do you want me to charge you for them?" Of course he didn't want to pay extra for wings that were messed up. It was stupid that she was taking them back since it's not like they could have used them again anyways. She should have taken them away in the first place instead of saying it was ok for us to eat them. The shrimp po boy was hard to eat as a sandwich. It was basically all bread, which was flavorless and hard as a rock. I ended up just eating the lettuce and shrimp from my sandwich. The shrimp was good and so were the tater tots. When we first came in the server asked us how we were splitting the checks. We let her know it was one couple, and two individuals. When it was time to get our bill, we let her know again. However, my friend and I were on the same bill. I realize that we're a guy and girl sitting by each other, but that doesn't make us a couple. Also, even if we were a couple, we don't have to be on the same bill. I again told the server that we're on separate bills. She then said, "Oh it's ok, he said he got it," pointing at my friend. Seriously?? That really got on my nerves. Why would she make up something that wasn't true?? I enjoyed the food here, but I would not want to be served by Michelle again. If she makes a mistake, then she should be able to fess up and admit that she made a mistake. Not only that, she spent a lot of her time hanging out, sitting at the table next to us. It's obvious that she's not serious about her job.

Slow service, lazy staff and subpar food. Something has changed at this restaurant in the past couple years, and not for the better. Our own server was taking on the responsibilities of two other servers that were on the clock yet lounging, eating and drinking with patrons. All this in front of management. One in particular was told that "she got sat" (had a table waiting) and she made great strides to show how put-off she was by having customers that she...gasp...needed to wait on. Bravo Corrine for doing your job as well as Brooke's and another unnamed "bored" server. What happened to Hooter's wings? It used to be medium wings had sauce on them. Now they're buttered. Totally not what was pictured on the menu. We won't be back.

Cooks cannot seem to be able to read the ticket when it say cook crispy. 2nd time with undercook soggy skin wings. I do not want to wait another 15 minuets for you to cook more, and I do not want you to put them back into the fryer and have greasy wings. No thank you, and I do not want to get my money back, and I sure do not want a ticket to come back and try you again even if it was free. Great waitress, just poor cooks who cannot follow instructions. If you cannot have the food cook to order, why come back again & again.

Let me say, I love chicken wings! I will also say I know the best wing places in Tacoma and Hooters is not one of them. They're not bad, but with all the other great wing places, I can't see any reason to return. I wasn't overwhelmed with the other menu items from watching the food delivered to other diners...I guess I could say that everything was average or below. My pal and I had decided on a whim to go to Hooters, I mean I live less than 5 mins away; the friend and I have talked about going to Hooters since the time they were popular. Wait staff were nice, nothing exceptional, maybe a little ditzy as we did have to wait for our check after asking a couple times. All in all I would not refuse if others wanted to go(doubtful they would) but with all the great sports/dive bars in Tacoma, I would never suggest Hooters.

Wings are good but it served more on the greasy side. Definitely go on a Tuesday for all you can eat wings. I recommend u place another order of wings when you're half way through your current plate of wings to revert waiting. Service was ok.

Something sketchy about this place now. Got sat by the manager which was kind of weird. He didnt say or acknowledge that our server was going to be at our table to take our order like what normal hooters servers/managers do. Waited about 15 minutes and no service. It isnt what ot use to be. Tampa Hooters over Tacoma Hooters anyday! Joey Restaurants and BWW over Hooters anyday.

I will probably never come back here again! The food was mediocre and the service was awful. I ordered 10 pieces of boneless wings but the server brought out non boneless wings. I wasn't that annoyed as everyone makes mistakes. The server (Michelle) said she could take the wings back or we could just munch on them. I said we would just munch on them. When she brought my order of boneless wings, she asked if she could take the non boneless wings away and I said we may as well just eat them since we were already munching on them. She said "that's fine but I'll have to charge you then." Wtf! Charge me for your mistake? Why say you'll charge me if 10 minutes earlier you said we could munch on them. I asked her to take them back as I wasn't going to pay for them. Plus, they weren't even good anyway. When it came time to pay, I specifically told Michelle my friend and I were on separate checks. Literally 2 mins later she brings out a check that isn't split. I corrected her on her mistake and she said "I heard you say you got it." Wtf? I had no idea where she heard that but I again reiterated the checks were split. I know I shouldn't expect a lot when going to hooters of all places but really, this was just ridiculous. I won't be coming back.

Are here for lunch yesterday. Waitress got the entire order correct - which in Hawaii is next to never. This hooters has a new hot sauce - supposedly hotter than 911. Well maybe so but it starts off sweet and finishes hot. Yuck. Like a hot BBQ sauce. Definitely not better than 911. And I like it HOT. Glad I just tried it on the side. My wings were good 911 hot. Still the best tasting wings around:)

Hoots McGoots!! So, I'm dropping a review just to talk up the wings. I know what you're thinking, but honestly, this is a pretty good place for food. Mind you, it's not a foodie destination, but it doesn't pretend to be and certainly doesn't market itself that way. Soooo.... Wings. I'll be honest, my first stop when I'm in a wing mood is BW3's. Teriyaki, original - like 50 if I'm with my buddy. But for a change of pace that doesn't have a drop off in results, I go to Hooters. No lie. My order: Daytona wings (naked please). With a brew and some fries or pickles. Here's the deal. Breaded wings are like anathema to any honest wingie (wing-foodie-junkie ?!?). I've been avoiding them for decades. They add a lot of calories and grease and filler. So, go with the "naked" style. Then ask for Daytona style, which is a spicy, sweet barbecue sauce (it reminds me of a mild NC style sauce, just thicker and with less acidity) that is finished ON A GRILL. Epic. I have no idea why other people don't copy this. If you've ever had wings off the barbecue grill you know the kind of smoky, crispy finish this adds. And, hooters kind of nails it. Guys, if you're looking for a reasonable excuse to come here, this is it. Ladies, too. Great wings have no gender bias. - Daytona style wings, naked (no breading) - 40 beers or so on tap - TVs everywhere - Great views (er, of I-5 ... honestly) - Rating: 5 stars for the wings (as ordered above) - 1 star for general "could-be-better-although-not-really-that-bad"-type stuff

We had an amazing time at Hooters for my husbands birthday. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere was great. All of the people working were so nice. The manager came by and made sure we were doing well. The girls even took a minute out of their busy night to take a picture with my husband. We will definitley be back!

As soon as I set down, I checked in on Yelp (of course) and saw a bunch of horrible reviews. I got a little worried but was quickly greeted my my bartender and she poured our beers right away. I heard her say she was having a bad day to another server and that she wanted to quit twice - for someone that was having a shitty day, she didn't take it out oh her customers at all. We had another bartender serving us too and they were both very attentive. Kept checking back with us to let us know the status of our food which really did take way too long! I love the wings here so I guess waiting a lil longer didn't bother me too much. Everyone was friendly, I don't know why there were so many bad reviews. I just wish there was one in Seattle again!

  • Jerry E.

Just another average Hooters. Didn't stand out in any way. Their service wasn't terrible, but still took the usual extended delay that you have come to expect from most Hooters. The food has been hit or miss, depending on what time of day you come. The staff are friendly enough, the times we've been here they seemed restless and bored. Nonetheless, it has never been a negative experience by any means, just that there was nothing memorable about it compared to other locations.

There is a reason why I stopped going to Hooter's almost a decade ago and I was reminded that clearly after making a stop to have some wings on the way back from Seattle. I have to admit that I fell prey to the sign on the way back from Seattle. It took four trips of seeing that sign on the way home to finally convince me to give it another shot. I'm not gonna lie, there is something about a battered and fried wing in a sauce that i enjoy better then just a plain fried wing with sauce. Something about the breading does it for me. I came here on the way back from looking at a car in Arlington with no success so I was already running late so if I didn't eat now I would have to wait til I got back to Portland so I made a point to stop and kill my urge to go Hooter's for some wings. I came in and was bombarded by the female staff to seat me. After I was seated the server asked what I wanted and in begins the flirting. I'm not one of those kind of guys that needs my ego polished from time to time. I'm a fairly confident individual and a happily married man as well. I understand that being in sales you got to build your rapport but don't mistaken the fact that cause I'm here by myself means I'm here to do a lil hunting on the side. I ordered my food and since it was some kind of all you can eat wing night she does suggest that I go for that promo. Definitely was not in the mood for glutteny and I did order a salad so hopefully that made up for this unhealthy meal! So now begins the wait. I finish off my beer and receive another and still continue to wait. Had I not notice the couple right by me that arrived later than I did and received their full orders before me I had to say something to my server. After making a comment to the server and about 45 minutes later I finally receive my salad which was wilted lettuce and a few pieces of veggies along with it. I did make a comment to my server and did explain to her I was not upset with her but something as simple as this is not acceptable. I finally receive the order of wings and it was literally drowned in sauce. I forgot what I ordered but supposedly it was mildly hot which it wasn't because after a few wings I was definitely breaking a sweat. I don't ever recollect their wings being in pieces but I was not impressed with what I received. Overall, not an exciting meal and definitely something I don't want to come back to. I understand its your job to create this rapport with your customer but I did mention a few times I was married so you could back off a little. Food was nowhere near my expectation nor was there any apology other than the dumbfounded look in my servers expression cause she probably wasn't prepared for me being brutally honest. I think when I left I actually went home and ate something else because it just didn't do anything for me. Sorry guys, you just don't do it for me anymore.

Daytona wings are delish! But hooters is not like it's on tv, it's dull and dead here.... If I'm around the area.... I might stop by because of its breading

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. We came in to grab what we thought was a quick bite with the only people inside just drinking and not eating. We ordered our food at the bar waited 30 minutes before we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. The rude bartender said the food was in the window then we decided to stay. Some random waitress dropped the food off in a rude way without saying anything. My husband ordered crab legs and asked if he was supposed to open it with his teeth? The bartender came over and said she deals with rude customers all day but we were the worst. Granted I never said anything to her but she put the ticket down and walked away. That of course pissed my husband off and we decided not to eat and pay for the beer and leave. She said she didn't want our money but we paid anyways. Spoke to the manager and he gave a coupon for us to come back. He agreed the service was unacceptable. I will never come back here ever again! The guy next to us even agreed that this place has the worst customer service ever!

  • Jesse Q.

If I could give less than a star I would. This is the WORST Hooters I've ever been too. It took 30-45 minutes to get boneless chicken wings and crab legs and when I was going to cancel my order for it taking so long, it came out as I was canceling. I accepted the food and sat down and the little girl whose birthday it was slid the food in front of us and walked away. I asked if I was supposed to crack my crab legs with my teeth or if they were going to give me the crackers for the crab. Mind you this is after waiting an exuberant amount of time for a simple order when the kitchen wasn't busy. The girl who I was talking to said that we ( my wife an I, my wife who hadn't said a word) were the worst and rudest customers she's ever had as she cursed and yelled at us. Please, if you're in the area NEVER go to this hooters. You'll be upset and sad that you overpaid for shitty service. I like the food at Hooters but when you have to put up with substandard service, it's not worth it. Please, NEVER GO HERE

The new decor and the 30+ beers on tap, means BW has Hooter's running and after my first time eating here in over a year and half, I see why BW will be giving this place a hard time for years. This place is ideal for the single military men, but other than that I can't see who else would really want to come here. The service is terrible!!!! Management better start paying attention. Why have over 7 people working with 18 customers if they can't ensure my order doesn't sit in the window for 5mins. or more, they can't bring the right sauces, they allow our glasses to get empty......completely in attentive. As I am writing an employee is smoking hookah, behind the bar, which I thought was a electronic cigarette. But, even better she immediately walks up to us and brags that this is her first time, ever in life, smoking hookah.....wow!!!! I just saw Sunny, she is the leader on duty of this ridiculous place. This entire place needs remedial training. I'm never coming back to this place or any Hooter's as a matter of fact. I'll leave on a good note. All you can eat and the beers actually being in front of me to drink, was alright experiences.

What happened to my favorite wings? I used to love these wings. Not sure if they change recipes, oil or what. I ate last night and one batch was burnt, one had a odd mayo hot sauce for the "hot" wings and the taste of the wings does not seem the same. Not sure what's going on. For the prices you pay, you think it would good. It's sad since I told people they have the best wings. Guess need to find a new joint So sad.

I don't care what people say but they have great food. Everytime i drive by the shrimp just calls my name. Its addicting and the tater tots...omg....its comfort food for me. I give it 4 stars tho because Everytime i go the waitresses always Neal down to my level to take my order or they sit at my table!? Um, lazy? Girls, stand there like you mean it and you love your job.....

I hate this place. The wings just suck and it just annoying. I had to come here for a going away party. Not only could I not hear anything that was said, but the waitress kept ignoring all the chicks that were there. The wings are greasy and not flavorful. The only we ended up getting sat under a heat lamp and just gross. Yeah, hopefully I won't have any friends that want to go here. Otherwise, I'm stirring clear away from this place.

As always the food is always cold. Fries was cold and stale. Wings were kind of fresh hot. Like i don't understand. The cooks here can never get anything right. Waitress said our food was about be to be ready (service was not busy) . Its been 20 mins when she say that. 10-15 mins later then we got our food. Took a while to get the check. Waitress just standing around chit chatting. I just wanted to get out asap. I prefer buffalo wild wings even if i have to wait to be seated.

I love Hooters.....but not this one! As I write this review, I've been sitting at my table for more than 30 minutes. It took more than 10 minutes to get our beer and there is no sign our food will arrive any time soon. Having been a server I understand crowds on a holiday or during football season or the like but this place isn't even full. Folks are being seated immediately as they walk in the door and I've counted at least 10 servers/ female staff. Seriously about to stop my waitress and let her know we are leaving! This is ridiculous, slow and just sad!!

Wholly smokes! I was extremely impressed while dining at Hooters this evening. The hostess and manager greeted me upon entering the restaurant and sat me in front of their huge TV for the football game. My waitress, Kimberly "Kim" C was very beautiful. She resembled a younger Kerry Washington. I placed my order and within a few minutes she brought me my cup of chili. Wow! I could not believe it taste so good! Wow! Very good chili, not to spicy with a kick in the end. Yes, I'll be ordering their chili in the future! I also had the sliders which Ms Kerry Washington, I mean Kim suggested to mix and match the sliders, meaning half chicken and the other had beef. I asked the fries to be replaced with tatter tots. They nailed it! Both burger and chicken was cooked perfect and the tatter tots was very nice. The buns lightly buttered. I didn't have to add any sauce since it was so delicious. I washed everything down with their Sangria which I had originally thought it would be a small mug but boy I was wrong! It came in a huge mug, looked like it could fill liter bottle. Very nice! Yes, they must of hired some new cooks because their food rocked!!! I noticed their manager went to some of the tables to ask the patron how was the food. Great service and "Yes" I recommend eating at this Hooters on 6812 Tacoma Mall Blvd, Tacoma, WA 98409 By the way, if you go their for the football game, ask for table #57. Its in front of the big screen. Enjoy!

The wings were yummy and love the sports playing. The girls were really nice too. The cooks are slowwww though and I saw a Beardman working as a cook and it kinda grossed me out. I just pictured a bunch of random beard fur and dandruff getting in the food. Other than that I wish I lived closer or had easier access to the wings. Me and my gf drove an hour for this. And if you are the cook and are reading this...shave that gross beard you Beardman

Well, if it wasn't for the good looking girls here, Hooters would get 1 star, the food is awful! The service was decent, but could have been a little faster. We waited forever to get the food.

Worst hooters I have ever been to. There were four of us and we arrived at around one. We ended up being there till 2:45. Usually I wouldn't mind slow service, especially at this restaurant. But we had stopped for lunch because we were passing through the area and were with someone that had never been. The restaurant wasn't busy so we thought that we could pop in get a burger and go. There were plenty of waitresses running around chatting with customers but we waited forever to get our food and drinks. I literally watched them walk by our tray in the window for about five minutes till someone decided to pick it up. My coworker ordered curly fries with cheese sauce and a philly cheese steak without mushrooms. After our hour long wait for food they brought out mozzarella cheese sticks. I can understand getting the two mixed up, they do sound similar but why did she write down no mushrooms on the paper as well. You would think that someone would catch this, but no. When they brought our food out I asked for some ranch. Waited another twenty minutes till his cheese steak was ready to bring me some ranch. By this time I had about 2 fries left. They also forgot to take the mushrooms off when they finally did bring his sandwich out. Then we waited what seemed like another eternity to get our bill. Which they got totally wrong. And they had the audacity to specifically point out that they had taken the cheesesticks off of his bill because they he didn't order them. I know it's not necessary but usually when the restaurant gets your order totally wrong like that they let you have the appetizer that has already been cooked and can't be given to anyone else, but not them. Like I said worst Hooters I have ever been to!

As far as Hooter's goes, this is one of the best I've been to because of the great service and the party-friendly atmosphere. It's a madhouse on game nights as well as, quite unfortunately, WWF wrestling nights. But if you get here on a non game/wrassle night you're sure to be greeted by great servers and even better wings! The terriyaki wings are my fav here!

Now I have ALWAYS been a hooters fan. I have been to so many all over the United States and even in other countries... BUT, yesterday my friend and I go to the Hooters in Tacoma and I have never been so disappointed. We were there a couple months ago and it was great. Nice looking gals, great beer and I love the burgers. This time we walk in and some guy greets us at the door then some gal ask if we want to sit at the bar or a table... The place has been remodeled and it is mostly bar now. We choose a table and are lead around to this low table next to the restrooms. The high school age looking gal ask if I would like soda pop or ice tea. I was shocked when I wasn't even offered a beer as always. I replied "Don't you have beer any more?" as I looked around and was seeing more kids than adults and the little league game was playing on the TV screens... Nothing wrong with kids playing baseball on TV but isn't the Olympic going on now? The waitresses were young before but most averaged mid 20s, now they look as if they are high school age. Our waitress had such a high voice I couldn't understand her and she was at our table every two minutes asking us how things are. I never even got one bite from my hamburger before she was asking me how it is. I told her I haven't had a bite yet! Duh... She would interrupt my friend and I when we are talking too. So rude! I read that Hooters is having financial problems, they will not be getting any more of my financial any more that is for sure. I sure hope this is not the way they are all going. So sad...

Been here several times. Food : consistent Hooters food. Well, perhaps in general a bit better compared to the other chain locations. Never really have had a " ooopsie " on the meal. Chicken has always been cooked correctly at this location even when busy - aka - cooks make an effort and it shows. Kudos Wait staff . . . Hit and miss but in general good . . . Empty ice tea . . . Waiting for extra(s) . . . Friendly but misses here and there TV - hey, ESPN Sports Center should be on a few ALL the time. They do need upgrades here, some are loosing color / resolution etc

Stopped in for beer and wings. First visit here but I have been to Hooters at 3 other locations in the US. Wings (original) and onion rings were pretty good. They met my expectations as I have had them at other Hooters Restaurants. My beer was continuously replenished without me never having to ask. Time to get my order was average but the wait was not bad as there are numerous TVs for entertainment. Once I got my food, I had several inquiries as to my satisfaction with the quality. So, to sum up my experience, I was pretty pleased with everything - food, service, entertainment. Must mention the ladies - Chelsea and Maria. Both were friendly and hard working. I will be back when wings pop up on my radar or to watch a sports event with some buddies.

Everyone here is always really nice, TV's are in any angle you look, the servers are always pretty quick and help each other out, (bonus in this environment) drinks are refilled before empty and although the prices are a touch steep, you know what you're paying for, and you won't be disappointed dept in that either. Try to catch the happy hour deals, and lunch specials, seems to be the best way to go for me. Love that it's right off the freeway too.

Well, where do I start? We were greeted by a seemingly nice girl, who asked if we prefered a table or a booth. I asked for a booth only to be met with her evident confusion because there weren't any available. Well okay... I said a table was fine (and it was) but why would you ask what I wanted if there wasn't an option? We got seated, our server came over and introduced herself. I can't tell you what her name was because she was so quiet that I have no idea what she was saying. We had to ask her to repeat just about everything she said. After her introduction she left to go check on another table while we looked at the menu. When she reappeared my wife asked what beers were on tap. Instead of answering, she pulled a large, handwritten list (on cardboard-obviously just her personal notes) and handed it to her. Ooookay.... She ordered a heffiweizen, and my companion ordered a drop shot of some sort. When our drinks arrived (after a WHILE) all of the foam had disappeared as they had obviously been sitting at the bar for quite some time. My friend with the drop shot drank it ; our server asked how he liked it. Then she told us that she herself had never tried one , because she wasn't 21. If you want to feel dirty, having your hooter girl specify that she isn't old enough to drink, is a pretty good way to do it. We ordered our food, and waited. And waited. And waited. My buddy with the drop shot said he wanted to wait a bit for his next drink, and consequently the server didn't acknowledge him again for the rest of the visit. She checked on me several times, but then ran away without asking anyone else at the table if they were all right. Did I mention that he was the only guy at the table? Or that IT WAS HIS BIRTHDAY??? I finally had to tell her to take his next drink order. Food arrived. Sort of. My wife got her burger and fries. I got my fries. My wings, on the other hand were nowhere to be found. Someone else delivered our order and said the wings were on their way. I ate some fries, both mine and my wife's were so salty they were practically inedible. Asked a random server (couldn't find ours) about my wings - she alerted the girl who was supposed to be taking care of us, who, eventually showed up with them and proceeded to apologize because the kitchen was "secretly retarded". Pretty sure that you're not supposed to say stuff like that to your tables, honey. Food was Meh overall. She came back to tell us that she was going on break and that another girl would be taking over, did we need anything else? We asked her to put in a to go order, which she wrote down. Then we waited and waited and waited some more. 30 seconds into our wait, she popped out of the back in her street clothes and plopped down in a booth full of guys who she had been ignoring our table for all night. Our replacement server (who was very nice, btw) came over to drop off our checks. I asked about our to go order. She looked confused, left, and came back shortly to tell us that it hadn't been put in, but that her manager was going to make sure it came right out. Sure enough, it was dropped off Bag less about five minutes later, by yet another server. Server #2 came and checked on us, looked slightly appalled, ran back again and got a bag for our order (we didn't ask, she just did it). There was no discount on our bill for having our food forgotten twice. There was no recognition of my friends birthday. At no point did the manager come and speak to us even though she was on the floor. I am a former server at a similar establishment and know how this stuff works. They were not busy enough to excuse the poor level of service we received, our server was sidetracked by the table of her friends which she ended up sitting at. Food was okay at best and in no way worth the wait or price. I will never go back, and would never recommend it to anyone.

So my husband and I stopped in for lunch, we ordered the fried pickles......this was a new experiance for both of us, I have never eaten fried pickles before. My first bite was a "hmmm" after eating a few more, I just couldn't stop they had a little sign that said they were addictive, they did not lie I love them quite a bit, they were delicious with a light crispy texture, the bite of the pickle it was like taking a small bite of heaven they were so good. We ordered a 50 piece wing for our lunch to split between us garlic parmasean, they were soooo good very yummy I got full quite fast since I scarfed down a lot of fried pickles lol. Everything was quite good, the service was wonderful. The view was a plus (military men YUM!!) I wish yelp had a higher rating, but I am giving my all around rating of 20+ the military men in uniform were a bonus :-):-):-):-)

I have dined at this location three times. The very first visit was okay, but I have had better service than that. Second visit was disappointing. I stood next to the entrance counter for a long time before someone noticed me. Then, my waitress never came to take my order. I literally waited 14-16 minutes before another waitress came to ask me if I had already ordered, and then took my order. Mind you, it was not busy at all. I was there on all-you-can eat wings night. My waitress showed up after I was done with my first round. She asked me if I wanted anything else, to which I asked for more wings and refill on my iced tea. Unfortunately, that was the first and last time I saw her that evening. She never came back with my orders. The other waitress stepped up and took care of me. Recently I decided to give them one last chance. Even though it wasn't as bad as my second visit, the service I received on my thrid visit was still very little. Just bare minium. My observation tells me that they don't care very much if you are a lone diner. People in a group gets better service. This place has lost my business. I will take my money to another place where they appreciate my business.

I love Hooters! This Hooters however... We were not greeted at the door by anyone, so after five minutes of confusion we sat ourselves down to a table. There was maybe ten other guests in the entire building. There was three of us. After seating ourselves, it took another five minutes for someone to acknowledge us. It took another ten minutes to get 2 beers. The waitress then brings out the wrong beer... All three of us get our plates at different times, five minutes apart from each other. The food was decent, but the horrible customer service is what will keep me from coming back to this place ever again!

I am a man, I like wings and I like beer and I am over the moon about women. But, Hooters does not do it for me. I have been three times and each time it was after I made a joke about going here and we followed through on the novelty of eating here. We ordered our food here once to find hair in two of the dishes. The fixed it and I left satisfied. I think the sauce is delicious and better than your average Franks Red Hot, Appebee's type sauce. It creeps me out to see the number of single men eating here. It bothers me how the waitresses sit down with you to take your order. Let's update the outfit and take away the white socks and tan pantyhose. I probably won't visit a Hooter's again unless it is a bachelor party or special occassion. I leave feeling like a disrespected every woman ever and I would be embarassed if a colleauge were to see me.

This Hooters is AWESOME! The girls there are all very friendly and the service is amazing! I don't know why this Hooters has such poor reviews, but my husband and I love it! The food is always great, our drinks never go empty, and the food is prompt. I'm going back there tonight!

Ok, if you haven't been here in a bit maybe you should give it another try. After they remodeled at the end of the summer, 2012, the place has been way better. They started using a new product vendor for the food as well and it's been the biggest factor. The wings, which is what they've always been known for, are way better now. Honestly, just about everything I've tried has been way better and I've yet to find something on the new menu that I didn't like. As for the "rest of it", it's Hooters. Know what you're walking into before you open the door. I don't understand people who go to Hooters and complain about the "uniforms" the girls wear. Did you not read the sign? Have you never heard of this place? It's what they're know for! I always have a good time and usually get a Hooters girl that is fun and entertaining. Get over your self conscious, pretentious attitude and have some fun! I'm still going to stick to the fact that they really do have the best wings in town. And a boneless and/or no-breading option is nice for those who care about that sort of thing. This place remains on my regular stop list.

Called in a phone order, 20 minutes before i showed up to pick up, they didnt start making it until i arrived...... kept getting refered to as bud.. or buddy.... got home realized the wings has no sauce on them at all.... disapointing.. girls need some personality... they seem to really hate working....

The quality of the wings and ranch/blue cheese dipping sauce has diminished over these past 5 years. The breading isn't crispy and feels overly thick with not enough sauce, the naked wings are not crispy and should be because they're naked... The skins are extremely fatty and the wings have become enormous! The recipe for the ranch and blue cheese has changed as well. I think they used to use hidden valley ranch and made big batches of it every morning, and the blue cheese was also made in a big batch daily with extra blue cheese crumbles added in...but now it all tastes like prepackaged crap. WIngstop is FAR better. Can't believe I wasted my money here. They are only still in business because of the military base being so close. Serve better food to those soldiers!

I used to come to this Hooters all the time when I lived in Tacoma. Now just occasionally. I love the concept of Hooters and some of the best wings I've had in my life have come from here. Been here a couple times since the remodel. To me it isn't really a drastic change other than the more centralized bar and you can't see the cooking process any more. Other than that it's just a layout switch but same type of tables. Maybe a couple TVs upgraded. As much as I want to give this place 4 stars I can't because the food is inconsistent. It's never bad but it ranges from "ok" to "good". Last time I went it seems like they didn't put any sauce on my hot wings and they were dry as hell. I've had this problem a couple times. The main thing that makes their wings great is being breaded and the unique flavor you can't find anywhere other than Hooters. How can you mess that part up? Also the fries portion sizes have gotten smaller even though they charge $3.50 for them. Service is what you would expect. I could never stop going to Hooters though so I'll continue to eat here when I crave.

Family of three, nearly $100 bill. Ate with a large group (about 30) and the only server we had was spread thin, but she did try very hard to handle us, and her other tables. Overall my only real disappointment is the overall price, sure you pay more for the "scenery" but I'm not sure I'll ever eat there with the family again..lol

Out of the Hooter's I've been to (which is several) this is one of the better ones. There was a good atmosphere going on inside and the waitresses were friendly. I was there with a decent sized group and they did not have problems with people coming and going from the table. Though it took them a while, they split up the bill into several separate bills without complaining. The real reason I come here is the fried pickles. They are delicious goodness. The wings are nothing to write home about, but still pretty good. I don't really eat "wings" but do enjoy the boneless wings. It was nice to mix and match sauces with a group.

I'm in the military and having been in several states, must say this is the worst hooters I have been to. I was a hooters regular until I got stationed here. From the time you get there, up until you leave is an endeavor. Takes forever for a waitress to come over and get you a drink, they have messed up my orders three times and payed for my meal, given me coupons for the same reason and the last time I went and will ever go a friend of mine's food took 50 minutes to get to him!!! Do not waste your money and time here. Any other hooters would be better, if not go to another state! Lol

I was very dissapointed to find out they stopped the all you can eat wings on Tuesday's. Now its all you can eat chicken chunks. Dont get me wrong, the chicken is good but I looked forward to the wings. PLEASE bring them back.

i write this review not to shame anyone who works at this Hooters location but to more so vent my great disappointment with the Hooters franchise in general. I've been going to Hooters since 2000. The food, though never spectacular, was never disappointing when you're surrounded by beautiful girls and a pitcher of ice cold beer. I was originally a frequent customer of the Bellevue, WA location - so frequent i was on a first name basis with 75% of the staff and even had my own VIP Membership card with my name embossed on it. (yes i went THAT much). to my dismay - a few years after college the Bellevue location was shut down (damn fancy eastsiders). so i begin going to the Lake Union location. That too was nice... couldn't beat a summer day, mouth full of chicken wings, belly full of beer and eyes full of Hooters... and the lake view too. the staff was good lookin, the atmosphere was fun. and that was a great time as well. then with more sadness... they shut that location down as well. so i tried out the new location in Renton. its part of a bowling alley. and that place is a down right joke. the atmosphere is run down, gloomy, the waitresses are not attractive and all have a bit of sass as well. mark that off the list... now there's Tacoma left... i noticed throughout the years - the quality of the food and the quality of the girls declined steadily. sexiest statement i'm sure anyone reading this is thinking... "what a douche" but lets be real... nobody goes to Hooters for the food. Tacoma was no exception to this. Warmly greeted and quickly seated. great start to any restaurant. but the table we sat at had dirty benches and my elbows got soaked in water as it wasn't wiped down properly either. there was no paper towel roll near by and the food itself was no better than applebee's but 3 times as expensive. our waitress was to take care of us and also part of a larger birthday party group - but after dropping off our food and checking on us once. we never saw her again til having to waive her down. upon the first check up we asked for a side of veggies. she smiled and said okay - but never came back but didn't have a problem checkin on the larger table. we waived her down and again and she ran to grab them. upon delivery of the veggies after a 20 minute wait, we asked for boxes to go - didn't see her again for another 20 minutes as she kept checkin up on the larger table. i was rather disappointed. two side dishes, two main dishes, and one drink later... the bill came at $65 - not worth it at all. from the unclean tables, D grade food taste and quality, to the standard of the Hooter's girl... i'm sadden by the fall of what was once a great establishment. can't even blame it on Tacoma... i've been to Dallas, Houston, San Fran, Los Angeles, even Vegas.... the Hooter girls on the TV and magazines and calendars... i realized they don't really exist. not in the realm at least.

Came from CA to Seattle, WA to visit, drove an hour to visit this Hooters. Line was out the door on cold weather, with 80% of tables vacant & very few waitresses. Decided to order to go & more than 30 min after waiting had to ask for a refund. Worst Hooters experience.

Im a HUGE Hooters fan so we try to go to them everywhere we visit that has one. I have to say I've been a little disappointed in our local Tacoma Hooters for the past few years. The girls aren't haven't seemed as friendly, only a couple stop by our table if not just our server. I loved backbone the day when they would all come say hi, sign their name on the napkin and chat for a moment. It's never super busy when we go and I require a lot of Hooters attention! The food however, never waivers...always top notch and quick. BUTTTTT......I have to say I've been very impressed the last two times we went. Lots of beautiful girls, all super friendly and just seemed like a completely different atmosphere. I'll give a little of that credit to the dude we spoke with who just came up from Longbeach Hooters (I think that's where he said). It sounds like some good changes are coming! Looking forward to the bikini contest this desk and excited to hear of the new Seattle location coming soon!! HOOTERS!!!!!! Cassie you're my fave!!!

Was back in town this weekend with my family and decided to hit hooters to take in the ballgames this morning...when we arrived there was on girl behind the bar and what I assume was a manager working on a television...no "hello welcome to Hooters!" There was no introduction at all and they really just looked at us and went back to what they were doing...I had to ask if we just seat ourselves and received a "sit anywhere you like" reply...after receiving our food and drinks, we were wanting a few refills during lunch and to order another plate of wings but our waitress wasn't returning anytime soon...after further review, we witnessed both barmaid and waitress over by the bar as one of them was literally styling the other ones hair and brushing it right in the bar....What?????? I'm hoping to spend a little more money and they are doing each other's hair?? I now see why this restaurant is doing bad...there are certainly other places to eat locally and this was our last time ever going there...couldn't believe it honestly...not long till completely out of business with this type of service....we finally went and asked for check and left.

I decided to hold over in Lakewood Washington because of the weather. I stayed at the Days Inn which was right next door to Hooters. I said at the bar where I was promptly served served my beer and ordered food shortly thereafter. Took a half hour for boneless wings and curly fries to arrive. I was there at lunchtime but was pretty quiet. Wings decent but fries barely warm. Good frosty mugs, cold beer, and views of the girls. Not bad but not good either.

If you have been to one Hooter you been to them. However this Hooter really supports the troops. They are located hear the local military base. They treat the deploying and returning troops extra special. It's nice to see a place that takes care of our troops.

Don't bother with the classic/naked (non-breaded) wings. $10 for 10 has you shelling out a buck a pop for anemic Pygmy wings that I'd expect at a happy-hour 25¢ promotion. Truly pathetic. Also, if "hot" is supposed to be classic buffalo style, then it sucks. Limited heat (my 7 year old thought they were lame), somewhat bland, and not enough meat of course. Waitress was nice, though I gave up on asking her if we could get a channel changed to watch the UFC-lead up without craning our necks. Place was nearly empty, so it was a reasonable request. I had to ask a couple times for the check too. Other reviews about disturbingly young women are right. Seriously, at 36, I felt like a dirty old man--several looked like high schoolers. At least they were mostly sweet. Saw everyone gather for a photo with one customer. Overall, it was fairly clean, lots of TVs, service was moderately slow, and the expensive wings & curly fries sucked. I won't be back. What a shame.

I took my whole family for my son's birthday last week. This was the first time we have ever been, the kids always ask to go there because we pass it on I-5 all the time. Overall we all enjoyed it. It was expensive but it was a treat for a special occasion.

Let's see... There was 3 of us, we got there at 6pm. There were only about 30 people in there and about 7 waitresses. Yet it took 45 minutes to get our food! Our server acted verrry fake and stuck up, with her huge fake chest that looked like a tijuana hack job and a totally flat a*s! I was expecting "hot" women...but this is Tacoma I guess. Our food was absolutely gross. Luke warm chicken wings and rubbery old curly fries. These girls were all pretty skanky looking and from what I saw they should change the name of the place to camel toes

Came here on a Sunday night, Ravens vs. Patriots. No one told us about the drink specials. Our food was disgusting. Hooters is known for their wings and these were awful. I ordered the Hooters original, breaded. They were lukewarm and swimming in grease/oil. I asked for mild, but they had no flavor at all. I had to add hot sauce to my ranch. Service was okay. Server checked on us once. I'm pretty sure the girls are supposed to tuck their shirts into their high-waisted shirts, but one server had a crop-top, bearing her midriff. I wouldn't go back, based on my experience.

My car was broken into while I was there for only about 2 hours. This place is in a pretty crummy spot and the service here sucks. Didn't try the food, but it looked unappetizing. Also one of the toilets was broken. Definitely would not recommend.

Tacoma hasn't been one of my top places to visit since I moved to Seattle but out of boredom and having to pick up a DVR from Comcast in Federal Way, I put the car in drive and headed south. I knew there was a mall out there so after doing some browsing for a dress to a wedding, of course, I got hungry. I have passed this Hooters on my way to Portland or coming back from Portland but hadn't stopped. I love me some Hooters. I am from Chicago and we could care less who and how you are dressed as long as the chicken is good. I had to go plus there aren't enough Hooters in Seattle (South Lake Union) so might as well get my grub on. It wasn't busy and I sat down pretty quickly. I love window seats so that is where they sat me. I was instantly told by the hostess that my waitress was about to go on break but she would be filling in. Hmmmm... Anyway, my not so chipper waitress did the usual and ask for my drink of choice, which was water and a margarita no salt on the rocks (it was on special so hay). After what seemed like an hour or maybe they were personally going to South America to hand retrieve my tequila for my drink she brought my drinks. I placed my order which of course I had to have some to go, I ordered 20 wings with spicy garlic sauce and a side order of Coleslaw. After preparing my self with napkins, salt and my book I was ready to chow down. Some random waitress brings out my order minus the coleslaw and I go to town. The flavor of the sauce was so good and they put a good amount. I love a lot of sauce and that's what they gave me. I ate and smacked and sucked and by the time I was done. I had about 6 wings left and my water and margarita glass was still full. After overly embarrassing myself for my lack of table manners and wolfing down a ridiculous amount of wings, I asked for the check and a box for my meager leftovers. Needless to say, I drunk down my margarita and paid my bill before a loud burp would just put me right over the top and I banned from the City of Tacoma. And just so you know, my waitress that was breaking came over to collect the payment plus tip for whatever waitress really deserved it and brought my coleslaw (but did I really need it by then????).

I love Hooters! I used to go a lot in my hometown and was happy to know there is one right up the street from me. I've come to this Hooters at least a handful of times and I've had a great experience every time! The buffalo shrimp always tastes good and the wings (breaded-daytona) are my favorite. I also love their side salads and once again they have good ranch here as well! The girls are friendly and I never have to wait for my food to come out for long periods of time. Definitely give this Hooters a try if you're a fan of the chain, just make sure there's not a major sporting event showing!

I have never been to a Hooters before and will not be going back. I orderd the wings and sent them back. I have never seen such small and no meat wings before. The server was great she brought out another order and the wings were better but had no sauce, if this is what you are known for, bad on you Hooters. My wife could not eat her salad, limp lettuce and skimpy vegies. The only thing that does pass are the nice servers, they checked on us and were very gratious.

I don't go to Hooters like I did ten years ago but the wife and kids were out of town so I decided to get takeout. The food, buffalo shrimp and wings, was prepared fast and was tasty. I ordered the buffalo shrimp at 911 and it was great. The wings were ordered hot and thankfully didn't receive the same amount of dressing as the 911 shrimp did. However, if you wanted truely wings dressed in sauce that requires two or three napkins then it wouldn't be for you. This might have been just an oversight on the cooks part, and anything can be sent back for more sauce so I won't fault them for it. In the end, it's been over a year and half since I craved buffalo shrimp and I will crave them again soon. I've been to Hooters in four states, not many, and this is up to the others.

I was there for all you can eat wings and it was the worst service I had. The waitress Tessa was very bad with service. She never return to ask us for more food or more drinks. I will not return to hooters again.

Horrible experience. My wife and went one day for lunch and the girl serving us was slow. My wife ordered a chili dog and when she got her food the hot dog bun was moldy. My beer battered fish and chips were over cooked. Will never go here again.

Granted it was veterans day, but they seem not handle big crowds effectively at all. Service was chaotic and seemed to not have a handle on anything. Food was extremely slow coming out for a pretty simple order. Also, all of the steeler decorations on the wall seemed like a big f u to all of the seahawks fans in the area. The place is in a seahawk fan area and the choice to do that with the history of the two teams seemed tacky and unprofessional. Not going here again

Ok so I love Hooters but last time I went the sever didn't care about our table, never gave us refills, and we had to get out of our booth and ask for the check. The girl had a major attitude problem.

Come on now the food here is good U cant really expect the best in the world, but do you really come for the food?? No its for the atmosphere thats the nice way to put it. this is a place to come and grab some cheap food and beer and watch a game or hangout and pretty girls come up to you and talk to you to make the game that much better. this is not a sit down restraunt and rate every little thing they do. good day

Hey, you go to Hooters and you should know what you are getting into, so in response to the other reviews, the girls probably aren't any younger than they used to be, but just look younger as we all get older. I'm pretty sure they have to be at least 21 to work there. And the outfits are iconic, white socks and all. That said, this is the absolute WORST Hooters on the planet! Honestly, it will make you sick! I would not have known how disgusting it is if it weren't for the fact that 3 of the cooks are longtime friends of mine. One of them got really sick and was puking on the line the other day. Then my other friend caught it from her, and he tried to call out sick but was forced to go in anyway! He was puking the entire time he was driving to work! Oh my god, they are working around food! They should not be ALLOWED to work if they are puking, are you kidding me? That is what just totally put me off the place. He had never called out sick before but was told there would be consequences if he did not go in. Puhleeze, that is so disgusting. And it's just the tip of the iceberg of horrors I've been told about, like fish being left out overnight, the steak giving you diarrhea, the tables not cleaned with food molding the next morning, worms in the floor. Ugh, just so gross. Plus, two of the managers are abusive. I've met at least 3 people who quit because the manager named "Bobby" constantly berated them. As a customer, I want to frequent a place where the food is made and served by genuinely happy people, not disgruntled employees with fake smiles just because they want my tips. Even though those girls are really good at faking it. All in all, it's really not worth it when the food was never more than so-so anyways.

Attentive waitresses. Appetizers came out quickly, and were piping hot. Music, however, was too loud. Hard to have a conversation. The fish in my sandwich was bland and could have used a dash of spices. I was unsure of whether I was having grouper or cod in my fish sandwich. The menu states grouper, however, the waitress states cod? I would expect the waitress' response to mirror what's on the menu.

Yes, I drove all the way from Bainbridge Island to Tacoma just to eat at Hooter's. I suppose it was a nice enough day for a short road trip. I'm not really quite sure about this place, maybe if the location was better, not in some run down part near the 5, I would have felt differently about this place. Even the restaurant itself felt somewhat claustrophobic. Not really sure why they needed to cover the windows so much. I didn't really have high expectations for the food. The wings were overly breaded and somewhat overcooked. The sauces were nothing special. The fried pickles were good. Their beer selection was lacking compared to most restaurants in the area. I guess this place is really popular for sports and male bonding.

As a Hooters noob I really had no idea what to expect. I understood I should expect breasts, legs, and wings... but that was about all I knew. I can't say I had any expectations, but I was definitely pleased! We started off with some fried pickles (YUM!) and some drinks. I stuck with the Black Jack which was basically Jack and Coke with a little bit of blackberry juice. It was actually quite tasty, reasonably priced, and relatively strong. We ended up getting 6 different kinds of wings... cajun, samurai, spicy garlic, BBQ, hot, and whatever is just a step above hot. The spicy garlic was actually the spiciest one we ordered.... I thought their hot and whatever is a step above hot had pretty decent flavor but could have used some more spice.... it was only the last wing or two I ate that actually seemed to have heat. It's like the heat sort of built on itself. The BBQ and samurai were both okay, but I'd probably pass on them if I were to come back (BBQ was about generic bottled quality and the samurai was a little too sweet.... could have used some tang, or citrus, or heat, or something to balance the sweet). The boneless wings were easier to eat (duh!) but weren't wings at all... I'd probably say they were just cut up pieces of white meat. The curly fries were rather disappointing. They were nice and curly and purty, but didn't seem to be seasoned very well. Service was... well.... good.... one of the staff members is a really enthusiastic bartender and did a great job of cutting lemons. Food was overall good and reasonably priced. For ~$15 we got a lot of food and I left satisfied.

I will never ever ever go back to this place again! I went with a big group of people but It's not like the place was packed. It took forever to get our drinks, like half hour. After telling the management that we had been waiting so long we finally got 'em. Then, about an hour later the waitress finally came and took our orders. I asked her if they were just busy and she said no. So thee shouldn't have been such a hold up. Then we had to wait another 40 mins for the food. I seriously had to talk to the manager 3 times about our service. It was horrible. I was so mad that they added gratuity to everyone's bill. All I bought was a drink and the fried pickles and ended up paying over 15 bucks for that horrible experience.

We did a takeout since our hotel was next door. I didn't know if minors were allowed in (they are). This review is strictly on the food. The hotdog (all the way) was good, chicken strips were better than McDonald's, the fried pickles a pleasant surprise. This was a first for me, I've never been to a Hooters before. I guess it may have rated 4-5 stars if me and the guys were eating in and having a few brews.

RIP OFF! 10$ for ten tiny wings I was so displeased with my meal last weekend the wings look like they came from baby chickens waste of money! no wonder why all Seattle locations closed. I will never go to another hooters again!

I'm a big fan of this family-style restaurant. I'm not ashamed. I've probably been to over 30. And contrary to everyone (including my wife's) believe, I really do go here for the hot wings. Tonight was no exception. I went with Jay (you know Jay, tall, mid-40s guy) at around 5:30 today. Whole restaurant is non-smoking!!! Our waitress was real friendly, and prompt. We ordered a beer each and then their hot wings were 1/2 price until 6pm, so that made the choice that much easier. The wings came out and... I'm going to guess they were re-heats from earlier. Didn't have that hot, crispy breading that I'm used to. Plus they're getting smaller and smaller. I think they're using pigmy chickens. And now they cost $8.49 for 10!! Beer was..., well beer. Wish they had a better selection. I mean how many version of Bud and Miller do they need? How about us guys (and girls) with a little more sophisticated beer tongue? Then the total came to $9.21. I gave her a $20. She returned with two fives. Uh... so either her math isn't too good, or she just assumed that I didn't want my change. If I was a bit more grumpy, I would have just left that as her tip, as she essentially just stole it. Oh well. You're not there expecting PhD candidates.

I used to Love Hooters Wings. I just have to say what happened? The taste is not there they are small and kinda just thrown together. On more the one occasion there are still feathers in the wings????. Overall its all about the atmosphere and the girls but there are certainly better places to eat. I used to be a fan but there is to much good competition for my wing dollars to settle for less. Sorry Hooters but you just lost another customer.

I still question myself to this day on why I even decided to step into a Hooter's that was in the middle of nowhere in Washington. I remember that our car was hungry and I remember that I was sitting in the car with two other boys. Okay, now I remember why. The food, not so good everyone. I know the guys like to see the server chicks work their thang in the restaurant, but man! The sacrifices that you have to make just to be able to see that! I had their fish filet sandwich that was very questionable, along with their potato salad or something that looked like potato salad. I remember the fish filet sandwich being super runny (Weird, right?) and the salad being bland. The guys got chicken wings, but they were on the dry end. Our server didn't provide us with very good service either. Not my type of environment at all. *Shudder*

Should I have expected anything different? The service was friendly and vivacious but the wings were the puniest things I have ever seen. I couldn't drink the rest of my wine because it was so horrible and they had no other choices...okay I tried it....there! Not going back.

The wings are fairly good, they have decent drinks. You really can't mess up the beer. The girls are nice to look at, if you get a nice looking girl. A big bonus is that Hooters has the UFC PPVs, for free, no cover. For that right there they get a four star lock. Parking can be a issue on big time sport nights

I had forgotten why I stopped going to Hooters until I got my food. Over priced and the wings were terrible. Ready to go back to my room and get sick. So many restraint choices out there and I felt the need to give hooters another chance. Not again!!

Wings are good but it served more on the greasy side. Definitely go on a Tuesday for all you can eat wings. I recommend u place another order of wings when you're half way through your current plate of wings to revert waiting. Service was ok.

  • Don J.

Biggest complaint is the sticky tables. Food quality was okay, and price was fair. But the food took way too long to come out. And the girls... meh

  • Dana G.

Came from CA to Seattle, WA to visit, drove an hour to visit this Hooters. Line was out the door on cold weather, with 80% of tables vacant & very few waitresses. Decided to order to go & more than 30 min after waiting had to ask for a refund. Worst Hooters experience.

Lol

i write this review not to shame anyone who works at this Hooters location but to more so vent my great disappointment with the Hooters franchise in general.

Going down hill. Not a fan. 6 years ago I used to go there regularly to enjoy games. Not anymore. Not all that clean, girls aren't what they used to be and food leaves much to be desired.

Our table they led us to was greasy. My fork was dirty. The t.v.s were on WAY too loud. The food was crappy. I would never go back. I feel sorry for the sweet young girls who work there.

My car was broken into while I was there for only about 2 hours. This place is in a pretty crummy spot and the service here sucks. Didn't try the food, but it looked unappetizing. Also one of the toilets was broken. Definitely would not recommend.

The remodel is ok. The beer selection way better. What needs updating is the business model, which they have not.

I was very dissapointed to find out they stopped the all you can eat wings on Tuesday's. Now its all you can eat chicken chunks. Dont get me wrong, the chicken is good but I looked forward to the wings. PLEASE bring them back.

  • Josh J.

    (1)
  • Kaitlin D.

Ok so I love Hooters but last time I went the sever didn't care about our table, never gave us refills, and we had to get out of our booth and ask for the check. The girl had a major attitude problem.

  • Amanda L.

Come on now the food here is good U cant really expect the best in the world, but do you really come for the food?? No its for the atmosphere thats the nice way to put it. this is a place to come and grab some cheap food and beer and watch a game or hangout and pretty girls come up to you and talk to you to make the game that much better. this is not a sit down restraunt and rate every little thing they do. good day

  • Anthony B.

  • Mark C.
