Enjoyed dinner at the Selkirk immensely last night! The re-model is gorgeous and the atmosphere in the bar was perfect. Steve was our server and we received our drinks quickly and he was very attentive. Food came out in the perfect amount of time and was delicious. We love the cheese bread and ordered a side of Alfredo sauce. My calazone was perfect and golden and my hubby enjoyed his pizza. Lots of leftovers for lunch today!

Super tasty food & a solid beer selection. I recommend the hummus plate, they use the pizza dough as pita bread & it's delicious.

Good food average prices. I would give 4 but either start having employees actually serve and bus or get rid of the tip line. From a customer stand point this place asks us to tip for dang near nothing.

Great food excellent options for drinks friendly staff and almost never busy. They have a very modern rustic look that I think is pretty cool if any one cares about how the restaurant looks while they eat or drink. The staff is very friendly and I like that the bar is separated from their other seating.

My wife and I frequent the happy hour. It's awesome. One of the best we've found. Love the casual atmosphere. Love the look.

Their pizza sauce is really tangy and has a great tomato flavor. The pizza crust is good most of the time too. One time we got undercooked pizza crust but that was not typical. My favorite thing at Selkirk is the salad bar. It has been different fresh choices and the dressings are great. The waitstaff are super friendly and helpful.

We just made a quick visit before a movie, but we'll be back to have pizza and the salad bar. The atmosphere was nice and I had a Bloody Orange Rita that was yummy. We had poppers as a snack...and they were good. Definitely homemade and better than the average bar food.

Excellent food, Thai pizza is awesome. Employees aren't very attentive or nice, the food was good enough to make up for the lack of service so I'll give them a solid 4/5.

Had a small thin crust veggie pizza and a soda. Crust was flavorless and over cooked. Sauce tasted watered down and had no flavor. I could have got a store bought pizza that would've tasted better and not cost me $12.

Selkirk is the rebirth of the former Fat Daddy's and whaooooo! We had not been in since it was FD's and the former store was starting to slip in food quality and service, I had ordered meatballs and the meat tasted spoiled, the waitress said it was "supposed" to taste that way. So when when we were in this lovely city last night and thought we'd enjoy a movie we noticed Selkirk. Upon looking at the menu we figured it was revamped and same owner. The new interior design is marvelous, very comfortable. The service is awesome. When customers leave, the tables are immediately cleaned. Amanda, who was our front end host for the evening, she normally is in the bar, what a gem she is! I complimented her on the excellent job she was doing taking care of all her customers. If she's not a manager she should be trained as one. Everyone was doing their part so efficiently, good work ethic comes from good training and management. So the name and interior isn't the only thing changed here. I ordered the Margherita pizza, the crust was perfect, and a balanced blend of ingredients. My husband had the Selkirk Favorite Calzone, he was also very pleased with every aspect of his plate, he said it surpassed Tomato Street's Calzone by a long shot. We then had the Huckleberry Crisp with the best creamy hard serve vanilla bean ice cream. Be prepared to wait around 10 minutes for this, they bake each order of Crisp in the oven for you. You won't be disappointed! To all of you at Selkirk JOB WELL DONE!!!

Get ready to work for your meal. I will start by saying I loved Fat Daddy's and the service, especially the attentiveness provided by Jazz in the bar. It was the standard that I held other establishments to. The new remodel is beautiful and I think the layout is great. The area with several video games for the kids to play on is a great addition. That being said....."casual dining" is not for me it would appear. If you sit in the restaurant as opposed to the bar area be prepared to get up every few minutes unless you know exactly what you want when you walk in the door. There are no servers. You place all orders up front to include your drinks, food, and appetizers. You get your own plates, silverware, napkins, and condiments. Then if you decided to leave a tab open in the event you wanted some dessert or additional drinks you have to go back up front to pay on your way out. By the end I felt as though I needed to bus my own table and head to the back to wash dishes before I left. If you don't mind doing these types of tasks during and throughout your meal then I highly recommend Selkirk. If you liked the old food you will still enjoy the new food. The staff that you do interact with is very nice and they did a good job of greeting us when we came in as well as a thank you & good-bye as we left. All in all, Selkirk is beautiful new version of Fat Daddy's with McDonald's like service.

We love the food and staff at Selkirk. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that we're not fond of the wait in line to order process. Sometimes people are indecisive and it takes what seems like a long time to order. When it's busy, it also gets chaotic, people cut in line, etc and it's a bit stressful. Whenever we go, we do our best to sit in the bar where they will take your order at your table. We would go way more often as a family if the restaurant side wasn't set up as it is. Most everyone we know tries to do the same. Another request would be that they have a menu online - when we go in groups, on occasion people want to look at the menu before going and we've never been able to find it online. Again, they have an awesome menu, the food is always fabulous and the staff is great as well. I just have a hang up with waiting in line to order.

I've had the unfortunate opportunity to have been to Selkirk Pizza and Tap house twice in the last 2 months. While the food was excellent and customer service from the staff was great both times, I've never been more embarrassed to eat at restaurant in my entire life. During the first visit at lunch time, I had to listen to one of the managers basically screaming at two employees in the back by the salad bar for a good 5 minutes. I don't remember what it was about, but it was incredibly uncomfortable for me and the half dozen other guests that were there. Whatever it was about, it was completely unprofessional and is not how you treat your employees! It made me want to leave and hide in my car. The second time I went back with my friend and had the misfortune to be talked rudely to by the same woman! She seemed to want us to leave as soon as we were done eating eventhough we were just talking with eachother for a few minutes after we were done! Other than that our hostess was extremely polite and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. I would go back if i wasn't so worried about seeing the manager again...

I know it's their grand opening but I miss the old "Fat Daddy's". It was noisy and the kids in the game room were climbing all over the glass pinball machines. The pizza was good but now they have a salad bar. I don't like salad bars.

I like the old Fat Daddys. Called in pizza to go and had to wait in line behind several people who were indecisive about their pizza and beer order. Got home and pizza was noticeably smaller and few pieces of the Fatt Daddys pizza didn't have toppings for the 20 plus dollars I spent on it. I took a picture of it to remind me not to go there again.

We really liked Fat Daddy's and assumed it would be similar when it was renamed Selkirk Pizza & Tap House. Unfortunately, the self-serve model is not ideal. My husband and I try to sit in the bar mainly because of service. However, unless we go at lunch time (literally), we can never find seating; so we are forced to sit in the "self-serve" area. Because of this, we are going there less frequently.
