No-Li was pretty good! I got the No-Li burger and the waitress was really helpful in recommending a beer that I got two from her recommendations! Try the jet star imperial IPA and the rise and grind. The inside of the brewery is pretty cool however I think the patio is where you'll enjoy your beer. It faces the river with a couple of patio chairs to sit and relax. There's a couple of fire pits and benches where if you roll up with friends, it'll be a fun time. The price is a little bit high but I'd say the atmosphere is worth it for a good time or relaxed setting with a couple of good beers I'll definitely be back!

This brewery with attached pub is a pretty good place to relax with friends with a varied selection of great tasting beers and food that is definitely above par for a brewpub. The outdoor seating along the river is also great on a nice day, though the lack of mid-day shade during some recent days of sweltering heat (above 100 heat index) impacted the awesomeness a smidge. Picnic tables and chairs occupy the outdoor seating which has a nice view of the river and is partially under the trees. Amongst the must-haves include the Rise and Grind Ale, which true to its description has notes of coffee and toasted grain that I found complemented each other, but not overpowering to the palate. Some of the better menu items I tried included the calamari (perfectly cooked - neither rubbery nor limp with great choice of seasoning) and a delicious chicken sandwich and salad that was heaping with fresh greens. The only down-sides (personal preference wise) include the rather dark interior, which is fine for the evening, but mid-day pushed our group outside to enjoy the sunshine... in all of its overpowering heat. If I could change one thing, I'd add a solar shade or some decorative canopy to provide a little bit of shade.

I've never had a bad experience here, especially in the summer when you get to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon drinking beers on the patio. The food is typical pub food, which is to be expected. The fish tacos are top notch, and the burgers are on par with any place in town. This place can get pretty busy which can slow down service, but the staff is still always nice and polite. My biggest knock on the place is that it seems so far from everything else, but I guess that does mean that there is plenty of free parking.

Found the reviews on Yelp helpful as in town shortly. The place has a large selection of beers. The ones I tried were very good. I want to come back and try the ones I did not get to. They have food, not great food as it seemed they purchase a lot of the food and prepare very little, but I have had much worse and the great beer makes up for it.

The word to describe this place is cool. The patio by itself on a wonderful late summer night is worth five stars. But they serve beer and food here so that has to be taken into consideration. The beer is decent. I had the spin cycle red and it tasted great. The food is comme si comme ça. I started with the hot wings. They were not hot or even spicy. They bordered on room temperature. They do offer a honey chipotle. Will try that next time I'm in the great northwest. (I'm from Texas) I ordered the fish tacos and salad. The fish tacos were loaded with too much crap. Pine apple slices, too much cabbage, and some kind of sauce that tasted just to the right of sour cream. It overwhelmed the fish. I saw on old menu and they once offered a cheesesteak but it was nowhere to be found. I threw one of the fish chunks to a river rat swimming by the patio. He grabbed it with his little hands looked at it and chunked it back at me. He ate a toad instead.

Used to be a great place but recently has made some bad turns. No groups bigger than 10, will not sit you until the whole group arrives. I came here to drink some beers not "enjoy the craft brewery experience!"

Back again for the mosh-pit sour cherry ale. Hot day~ chair by the river. ;) Great Service as always

Inviting atmosphere with lots of comfy chairs at the tables, plus a few booths for those who wish to be less exposed. Service is prompt, upbeat and friendly. You seat yourself, but someone will definitely be with you soon. Many people come here for the genuine Spokane style (yes, that is a real beer provenance authorized by the USDA) crafted beers. My personal favorite is Spin Cycle Red, but they have a beer for nearly any pallette. The food menu has a lot of diverse offerings, starting with burgers but so many other dishes including fish and chips and seriously good chili. I am just going to gripe for a second about price for food, but everything else is pretty good about this place. Don't let the price scare you away, but just be warned. My second gripe is that salad doesn't come until your entree does. So now I have to hurry through my salad while my food is getting cold. They probably do this to save on dishes, but it doesn't enhance my dining experience at all. It is really too bad because there food is good otherwise.

Best hot wings in spokane by far! Love the outdoor seating along the river on nice days.

  • Yelena M.

Extremely slow service today! It's Easter Sunday an there was no one here ( one other group) and our waitress, Mayan was so slow and messed up our Order! We must have waited over 20 minutes for our check. Where was she!? And on top of that we got sick from the food :(

    (2)
  • Bob F.

Very cool spot in Spokane. As others say, check out the riverside options in pleasant weather. As a hopheads, I really enjoyed their IPAs. We also enjoyed our burgers. We will be back for sure.

  • Jane S.

The manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Evidently one cannot order food and beverages at 8:30 on a Saturday night. Server was not taking on new customers evidently. Too bad because the atmosphere had great potential. Oh, and don't bring groups of 12 or more - that's "No-Li"

It was well worth the trip.Really great! The food was amazing!! I mean really great. Huge family style portions, but absolutely delicious. The clam chowder and fish tacos were AMAZING !!!!! The service was fantastic as well. Great servers and bartenders!! The beer is fantastic. The Beer menu is extensive, and informative. They have beers to go as well. Beautiful scenery from the patio . THIS IS A GREAT PLACE WHEN IN SPOKANE GO TO NO LI BREWHOUSE .

The entryway way walking into this brewery was eye catching, and the rest of the experience did not disappoint. We did not end up eating because of the Spokane beer week going on, but I was impressed with the couple beers I tried. The imperial stout on tap was just plain tasty. Nice patio area out back and it's situated right along the river. I would frequent this place on another trip to Spokane.

If you want a good quality burger, come here! Make sure to ask for it a little pink because it will be a bit dry otherwise. Also, if you come in early evening you'll miss the larger crowds. The meat in the hamburgers is very good, the staff is friendly, attentive, and fun. Perfect place for a sports event. Ingredients are high quality for other menu options like the salads.

    (5)
  • Kerry L.

Their steak salad was layered in a various kinds of jack cheeses and Parmesan. The salad was perfectly cut for nice bite sized pieces each time. Their salad was tossed with green, orange and yellow bell peppers which made the dish shine bright in fun, peeping below the salads. The steak was a little dry. The portions, massive. Environment, very friendly.

Get a seat outside if you can. Wait staff is pretty great. Had a few big events here and they were very accommodating.

  • George T.

I went in a group of 9 - 5 kids between 8 and 11. The place is large which allowed us to have some space which is great. The waiter was helpful and knew the menu and beer. I ordered the fish and chips (which isn't something I eat much) on the waiters recommendation. It was very good and I was pleased. The beer is very good and had some things that were a little different. Overall good place and I'll go back when in Spokane.

Great beer! Staff is a bit surly though.

  • J L.

Party of 6. One beer snob and 5 amateurs. The restaurant was enjoyed by all. Slightly - better - than pub food at slightly too - pricey rates. Service was very friendly and helpful. Staff knew the beer very well. The outside patio area was whimsically beautiful and right on the river but moth - o - phobia in a couple of my dinner companions meant we were moved I doors. Don't expect the food quickly, but waters were refilled quickly and often, and we were checked on regularly. The beer was, of course, outstanding. 4 of 5 stars for this slightly low - brow and funky brew-pub.

  • Victor B.

Definitely the go-to place for a beer when it's nice out. Dropped by on a nice day and sat outside for dinner overlooking the river. If you need to wait, not a problem, just grab a seat at the bar and tell them you're waiting for a table, they'll transfer everything over. If you're not sure what to get, they offer a sampler with six beers that's a definite must. Appetizers are good, and anything with their mustard is definitely the best way to go. Food was amazing, a standout being their mac and cheese.

  • Joel R.

Inviting atmosphere and nice bar look. Had fish and chips and the fish was very good. I got the poser and it was a pretty good local brew. Will be back again.

    (4)
  • Patti B.

Nice area out back for beers and food by the river. They offered a nice selection of beers. Our second trip to the brewery we arrived 25 minutes before closing and they informed us that they had already done last call. That was disappointing since we had ridden our bikes there.

    (4)
  • Hans K.

I really enjoy the beers here , just tried the poser (hoppy but good). Had the no li burger for about the 4th time and always a great choice. Love sitting outside here, great spot for lunch.

  • Michael A.

I've had a few of their beers, Michael our server suggested a sampler he didn't know it but I really love samplers gives me a chance to experience different beers! Service is great beers are great ambience is great! Not sure about all the negative reviews might be the people themselves! Can't wait for my next visit to Spokane San Diego has a lot of nice microbreweries but the view is beautiful here!!

  • Kim P.

Funky spot on the river front. The space inside is huge with at least 3 separate areas and outdoor patio depending on your mood. Beer was good, food was average, and staff was very attentive!

    (5)
  • Lucas R.

Great 1st experience at this place; Cool building, great music, kid friendly but plenty of good adult options and sports on TV, and a menu with enough variety for everyone. They have awesome IPA (my favorites are the Empire #8 and Jet Star Imperial IPA) that pairs well with their burgers and the service is fast & friendly. The next time we are in Spokane, we will return to this spot!

    (5)
  • Matt B.

One of the best casual dining experiences you'll have in Spokane. Great food, an amazing selection of their own craft beers, and incredible ambiance.

    (5)
  • Todd C.

Great beer!!! Excellent clams and the outside sitting on the river is awesome! I would have a hard time picking one IPA as a favorite. The homemade beer cheese and pretzel are worth trying. Overall I think the food is 3 star, but the beer is 5 star all the way.

  • Stuart F.

Entering the brewery I could tell this was a polished Craft Brewery which has taken the next step to ensure a delightful atmosphere to enjoy a pint and food menu to fit anyone's tastes as well. I wanted to start my day off with their Rise & Grind, sure to its name, the flavor of coffee and chocolate blend well not to overpower the others nuances. The beer being only a 6% ABV, makes ideal to enjoy a full pint, while still being able to sample some of their other tasters. The rest of the group I was with enjoyed the Amber & Spin Cycle Red, both are light enough to enjoy with the warm summer months ahead. Though we didn't get to the menu, from the dishes passing us by, this will be on our "list to do's" for next time. Over all a great place to visit, easy parking, and friendly staff.

I've been here a couple times. always a little after lunch time. food is quite good and service is casual friendly but also informed servers. good place to eat, drink and relax.

My second visit to No-Li was much better than my first, and I feel obligated (and even happy) to upgrade my rating. In short, everything I didn't like about my visit was the opposite this time around, and that's a good thing. The wait staff was so much more attentive this time. My waiter was extremely prompt with menu, beer, food, and was quick to check in with me. I even had other waiters topping off my water, and asking how things were. This was pretty much a 180 from last visit. The waiter was knowledgable about the beers, the styles and tastes and made some great recommendations. He even came back around to ask what I liked about the beers, and we talked beer for a little while. When he saw me looking at the fermentation vessels through the restaurant window a little later, he offered a quick tour through the back since he wasn't busy. Nice touch. The food was really good this time. The menu still consists of fairly-standard brewery food with some upgraded bistro-like touches. The burger I had was great and I look forward to returning to try some of the other items on the menu. I was even more impressed with the beers this time. They do growler fills and sell kegs in the restaurant for those of you who care. Check them out. It's worth it now.

Great service and food! We came on Bloomsday and it was busy but Chris took care of us! Amazing beer! We will be back! Yummy food!

I recently came to No-Li's brew house for lunch with a friend, we were planning on going somewhere else but stopped here and am I glad we did! Very comfortable atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food. We both got the turkey club mine toasted hers not. She had fries and I had the tomato basil soup we both agreed it was all delicious. The service was so good that I didn't have enough ones to break my larger bill for the tip and I decided to just leave the larger bill. Our server deserved it. I will be returning soon!

Supposedly, Spokane has other breweries beyond No Li, which was known as Northern Lights Brewery during my first trip. But for overall experience---beer, food, and location--- good luck finding a better one. If I must point to a signature beer, then their Blueberry Ale is the chosen one. But here we have a place with a great location, during the nice weather seasons of course. Right on the river, and within a stone's throw of Gonzaga University. Their food is great, at least what I had. And their beer is solid in all respects. I tried multiple flights and there wasn't a loser in the bunch. Visit it during the summer, and become enchanted. It is one cool spot, and Spokane an underrated and charming city. No Li will stick with you.

  • Emily G.

This place is fantastic. Have been here countless times and am always impressed. We only go for drinks and poutine, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but those two always come out wonderful. Their poutine is made with wrecking ball, mushroom gravy that is just delicious. Perfect accompaniment to their brewed beer. We may have gone there two nights out of a weekend :)

  • Chad P.

Cool location, sit outside overlooking the river. Beer was good if unimaginative. Usual IPAs which were all good. Spin Cycle Red is another good choice. Was looking forward to trying the new menu, although the old menu was very good as well. The burger was well executed but very plain. Need to be alot more creative in terms of menu offerings. What happened to the old garlic burger, etc.? Also had a quesadilla which was decent. If you are going to serve french fries, and I think you should stop, they should be handcut at the price point they are asking. Our fries came lukewarm, but really it didn't matter these were straight off the Sysco/food service truck with a dash of parsley. Not good enough guys, shouldn't need to be told that either. Please visit McMenamins sometime to see what gastropub fries are. Service was slow but we weren't in a hurry. We won't be back, too many other places in town have got the food side of things figured out.

  • Aaron K.

Been here multiple times. Apparently the $9 nachos are just chips on a plate unless you pay the $2 for sour cream which results in a drizzle over the top. Drastically overpriced. Overall, this place is just banking on its reputation as a Spokane style beer and is for the moment attempting to overcharge people until it is discovered that the beer is good but gouging people on everything else isn't a sustainable business plan.

Loved the staff, atmosphere, the amazing view and of course the beer. We will be back very soon.

  • Mark A.

Love the casual vibe. I have not been to any other incarnation of this place Since it was the Bayou. The beer is far superior. I love the being able to Zen out by the river in a wooden chair. Many days this therapy replaces at least $300 of work in an analysts office.

    (5)
  • Phil L.

While I wouldn't describe No-Li as a gastropub their food is good. They use quality ingredients, care about presentation and have mastered their menu. I have not seen or eaten a dish I thought was out of their league. But still, people go to this brewpub for the beers first. Beyond great beer and a great location, I have experienced great service. RC and other staff really seem to care about customers. No-Li is a hallmark of Spokane. I wish them continued success.

    (4)
  • Philip C.

Good beer, the food was mediocre at best. Not much meat on the Reuben and the sandwich was dried out. The salmon chowder was tasty but it should be named a soup due to it's runny consistency. I've been here before and recall the food being much better so I will return and hopefully give a better rating next time.

  • Montana H.

Two stars for decent beer. Wow that food is gross! Absolutely guarantee the pretzel is the frozen brand from Costco. Fries definitely originated in the Ore Ida plant. Nothing really healthy to eat, a lentil burger smothered in mayo on white bun. But the beer redeems the boring bar menu. Two thumbs up for the red! The others were decent but nothing to waste your time describing. Would be a great place for a bro's idea of a date.

  • Allison P.

Great local brewery for Spokane! They have many different beers on tap and even had a guest beer! The bartender was nice and quick! I liked the building it was in and the way it was set up! Only giving three stars because didn't try food. But if wanting a great place to grab beer this is one!

    (3)
  • Jeremy D.

I bet this review has been repeated numerous times. The food is decent bar food, nothing I would eat again, but who goes to a brew house for the food. You go to a brew house for the beer, and that's one thing they have, and it's good beer.

    (4)
  • Chris W.

I was not a fan when they first opened. I am still not a fan, but I will admit they have made drastic improvements in beer, food, and decor. My first visit was dissappointing, but you could see potential. Everytime I go the beer and food improves. Its hard to avoid, since its a fantastic summer evening stop on a bike. I hope they continue to improve, so I can become a true fan.

  • Brittany B.

I love this amazing local brewery! I'm obsessed with the flavors of their Rise and Grind beer at the moment. I've always had a fantastic experience here and the staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable about the beer and food. Speaking of food, try the Reuben! So delicious. Give me a Rise and Grind in one hand, a Reuben in the other, and seat me on that patio!!

  • Alex S.

I was able to return and was quite impressed with the service this time. Our group was seated promptly by the hostess and Zach did a phenomenal job as our server. Kudos to him. The food was excellent, the beer was tasty, and the music was spot on, for the atmosphere, as well. I will definitely be back again, you guys really stepped it up!

They need to improve on the Rubin's ! Corned beef is to thick, it should be shaved thin. The service was really slow on Saturday.

  • Keith H.

BEST BEER IN TOWN!!! many reviews here are focused on the food... well, let me just say this: NO-LI is a BREWERY, not a RESTAURANT! Dont worry, the food here is fine, but the beer is devine. Jetstar Imperial is amazing, Spin Cycle is award winning, and... well I like em all. Beer snobs rejoice, we've got a world class brewery in Spokane and No-Li is it!!!!

    (5)
  • Caitlin K.

I love this place, even though it's a brewery it is a family restaurant our daughter loves sitting out by the river to eat and there burgers are fabulous there French fires are amazing I love everything about this place and the staff is very accommodating.

We were going to have a reunion here. Manager was not pleasant and said we could not have it there. Unhappy with change in plans.

My wife and I stop in from time to time as we really love their beer. We stopped in yesterday to grab a beer or two and get a little snack. I hand their Amber and the wife had the Red and we shared their Quesdadilla with their cilantro-lime sauce with chives. It was very good. Our only issue is they changed their chef out some time ago and the menu changed a little and this chef messed up a few of the staples like the pretzel.. But the Beer is still Great..

  • Krystin T.

This was the third stop in our Spokane beer tasting adventure. There were some things I really liked - the outside seating right by the river, the yummy beer. The food was just okay; we had chips & salsa and nachos. You can't really go wrong with either of those options, and No-Li didn't -- but it was nothing mind-blowing, either. More frustratingly, the service was just kind of slow. I know it was a busy time and there were a lot of tables, but after the great service we'd had everywhere thus far, it was a little disappointing. I LOVED the view, though. Perfect summer day/night brewery.

  • Dee C.

Great place to go for some great beer. I've been here a few times and finally decided to write a review. As always they have great beer and I also ordered some food and enjoyed that as well. The service was great!!! My beer was never empty nor my water.

    (5)
  • Shawn M.

Go here for: great service, a great view by the river and great beer. The service was amazing from my interaction in their backyard with 2 servers. Very personal and helpful. The view is great when you can sit right next to the river in Adirondack chairs with your food and beer, relaxing. The beer is great, they have a large variety and they are happy to give samples!

    (5)
  • Christy S.

Service is eh. The good and beer is excellent. They need to figure out something with parking..

    (3)
  • Greg A.

Horrible service! Good beer just horrible service. Wouldn't fill my growler because they didn't feel like cleaning again although they were still open!! Even just going for beer isn't possible with the way they treat their patrons. Have always had subpar service every time I've gone. I'd recommend manito tap house, better beer selection and one zillion % better service!

    (1)
  • Cassandra C.

Poor service. Also, $5 for a pint is kinda high. Was it $4 or $4.50? Maybe. But whatever it was, it was high for a brewery. I love breweries and would have enjoyed my time a lot more if the staff didn't act like we were such an imposition. For example, we ordered water with our beer. If it's such a hassle to bring water...think about installing a self-serve water station like most bars do. But don't make us ask 3 times for something so simple. A member of our party asked what the soup was and the answer was given as though to a 5 year old. I can't handle that anymore. If you don't want your job, turn in your badge. Too many people are happy to work. It's the service industry--your job is literally to serve. A few of the beers were out of order, so that's kind of annoying that your seasonal beer, as advertised, on the menu, is gone. Aside from that, I love the feel of the brewery! We watched a Zags game and I wanted to love this place. But I wanted the place to love me back; is that so wrong? This is Spokane's chance to jump into the beer game. But there's some stiff competition. I get better service at the gas station than I do here. Think about it, Noli.

    (2)
  • Tom S.

I cut way back on my visits here when the beer prices went to $4.50 a pint. Now that their cheapest pint is $5, I'm done with them. Their beer is good but not that good. I'll drink at home before paying that much for 16 oz of beer.

  • Dylan M.

Great beers. Great food. Great people. A must visit when in the Spokane area. Really love the view of the Spokane River from the back patio.

  • Dawn R.

Came in for the Poutine. Was a bit underwhelemed; they use mushroom gravy and cheddar cheese (instead of cheese curds). The gravy was scant and we had to ask for more. The cheese was melted before they added the gravy, which is even farther from poutine (in that the cheese is added atop the gravy). The gravy was also over-reduced which resulted in it being overly salty. Our service was mediocre at best. I like poutine, but not desperate enough to come back here for any. We were also initially over charged, as the bill and the menu had different prices.

  • Andrea D.

They have awesome beer! I think the time you go here can affect your stay. I have been here all different times and days, and Monday nights are a good time. Good service, awesome food with huge portions, and weekend hustle is nonexistant. Service on the weekends can vary, and food isn't as well presented. But the beer is good no matter when you go. During the summer they have a nice patio right next to the river.

    (4)
  • Terry T.

Some of the best micro beers in the northwest. But the food has to improve in quality. We have tried several times over the years to eat there and always get poor to average food. The service is great as well as the atmosphere. Today for lunch had the pork and cheese quesadilla, there was no cheese! come on !

    (2)
  • Todd W.

Shoot me if I give them my $ again! Horrible service would imply they serve you. I really enjoy their beers and food is decent for a pub (so they get two stars) but don't bother the staff to help. Although Gonzaga is across the street and the men's basketball team was on tv we had to ask to put the game on. 5 of us guys there for beer and food but had to walk to bar after 10 minutes to ask for service. 3 waitresses gossiping at register couldn't be bothered. Not very busy but 3 other tables had no beer or food either. Thursday night last call at 9:50. 9:50 - really? You're a flipping brewery. Game ended about 10:15 and they turned the tv's off and asked us to leave. By the way, after our initial order not once were we asked for our next order.

    (2)
  • William M.

I want to give No-Li a zero because that is exactly how much of my order I received. Four friends and I went to the pub on a Sunday evening. It was not busy and they did not appear understaffed. We ordered only drinks, no food (we didn't actually get the chance to do so). After 40+ minutes of waiting we left, having received only menus, water and scrutiny of our identification. I can understand, though not approve of, a restaurant somehow losing an order. I am sure this was not the case with us as we were watching the waitstaff fill other people's orders with an equal level of inefficiency. The only thing I can think of is that NoLi raided the DMV to pick up the absolute worst customer service staff they could find. This is truly unfortunate as NoLi brews great beers and having them in Spokane is a great asset for the city. Buy their beers in stores, stay away from their brewpub.

  • Josh B.

The beer is fantastic. The Spin Cycle Red and Wrecking Ball are among my favorites, and the Reuben sandwich was damn near life changing.

  • Jessica L.

I so desperately want to recommend this place as I love that Spokane is getting a beer brewing scene. The service was one star at best. The waiter was not friendly. And our food took about 45 mins to an hour to come out. The food was also pretty bad. :( I ordered a side of veggies and got a plate of soggy spinach/kale? (I couldn't tell..) drenched in oil. The atmosphere and the beer was not bad which is why I gave it 2 stars.

    (2)
  • Callum S.

I was pretty unimpressed by No-Li. I thought it was going to be really great since I've heard so many great things about their beer. But the service was awful. Our waiter had no personality and was so slow at bringing us our drinks and wanting to take our food order. There was only two of us and it ended up being an hour and a half lunch. I was disappointed. And when we finally got our food, I was starving, but the food was really bland and uninteresting. I had the club and it was so dry. I would have thought that a brewery with a restaurant would do some cool food with their beers as ingredients. Not the case. Very dull. We did a sampler tray of beers and I wasn't very impressed there either. I think as far as beer goes, I'd rather hit one of the smaller local breweries who really care about the customer. I doubt I'll return.

I give very few five star reviews yet this is one of them. Service was spotty but the food (Ruben sandwich and beef barley soup) was great. The beers are top notch. As a certified beer geek I travel the US visiting breweries. Every beer here was true to style, super clean, and very tasty. The river-side patio is one of the best patios I've visited at a brewpub.

Blueberry Ale! Get it when you can as it is a Summer-exclusive brew or grab a growler and take it to go! Food is what I would describe as typical micro-brewery fare and very tasty! I'll usually grab Thai next door, beer here, and head home for a nice evening!

Stay away from the food and you'll be okay. Of course the beer is fresh and terrific. I recently had an Expo series Amarillo red ale, that was deliciously floral and chompy with my lackluster portabello mushroom sandwich (C+). If the bun wasn't a generic as effbomb white bun, it may have been better. By the time my sandwich showed up the bun had mopped up all the sauce and was a soggy mess. For the Brewer: your IPA's seem too aggressively hopped. If I may suggest to alter the grain-bill a little to balance the IPA's a little. Hoppy IPA's are the easiest to make; a tasty well balanced IPA's are the ticket. I'm all for IBU's, just so long as there is a malty backbone to support it. Cheers!

Meh. Not the best food or service. Now this place was busy, but pretty sure it was more the server being ultra slow. It took about 20 minutes before we even we approached about ordering drinks or food. Our server took our drink order and it was another 20 minutes before he brought the drinks to us. I accidentally spilled my drink, and I mean the whole thing went all over our table. After 10 minutes we saw our server and showed him what happened. He threw a towel at us and walked away. He did not even ask me if I wanted another drink. (Not Good.) About 45 minutes went by and he did not come back to even check on us about re-ordering drinks or to take our food order. I went to the bar to get a second drink and was helped right away. I went back to my table and after another hour we finally had our food order taken and we asked for another round of drinks. Our food came 30 minutes later....and no drinks. The server came back 10 minutes later and said "oh, you wanted more drinks right?" I said yes. I ordered the fish tacos that were to come with mango salsa. Well, the fish on the tacos was more like the condiment. The tacos were drowned in salsa, way too much salsa, it was not that great. I don't see us coming back to this place anytime soon.

We stopped in to try the beer sampler on a Thursday afternoon. The service at the bar was awesome! The beer was awesome, had to take home our favorite of the day, Wrecking Ball. I will go back and try the food because every plate that came around us looked great.

The beer here was pretty good. I tried a sampler of just about everything on tap, but ended up going with the Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout (perfect for the colder and rainy February we were visiting). Solid beer. Black, Opaque, 1.5 finger tan head and nice lacing. Place was pretty chill, nice inviting brewpub feel. Seemed to be a shortage of staff, glasses at our table ran dry more than once. Shouldn't happen when casually drinking imperial stouts. We didn't eat the food so cant really attest. All in all, nice place to get out of the weather and have a beer. Go early if you don't know the area, took a while to find...

I was a visitor to the area and had to use my GPS to find this place, so if you are too, better break it out, because it's location can be deceiving. The No-Li is located in what was once an old bus barn/garage that has been refurbished into the beautiful, rustic yet modern, trendy space that it now is. I just wish I enjoyed the beer as much as I did the space. I'm not a big fan of hoppy beer and as I recall, every offering I asked to taste was too hoppy for my taste. Again, for "My Taste". For those of you who lean towards hoppy beer, the combination of hoppy beer and the fantastic space that the No-Li occupies will not disappoint you.

I was just telling someone about the best wings I ever had so, I had to write a review. I have been here about 10-15 times. Everytime I pass through Spokane. The wings are awesome and have one of there imperial beers to wash them done. Be careful these wings are hot!!! I love spices and the 3 stars were perfect. I had the five star sauce and I thought I was in serious health trouble :)!!!!!!!

Our party of 3 sat at the tall tables in front of the bar at 3:30 pm yesterday. There were about 4 people behind the bar standing and talking, mostly among themselves. After no service for a good 10 minutes, I finally had to flag down the bartender as he helped another table by us, and ask if we had a server. It was not busy, he did not apologize for us having to wait or ASK for service. The crème ale was great but the service is awful and I will NOT be back.

We've always had a great meal and a good experience here. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Even when they aren't serving, everyone seems to be busy doing something, bussing tables, cleaning up etc. The atmosphere is Pub-brew house, comfortable and relaxing. TVs are on a variety of sports. We have not been disappointed by the food and we've ordered numerous items. I like the wings...which are big. I'm sure they are not just wings...but big chunks of bone-in chicken! We like the nachos, burgers and the various salads as well. I don't drink beer, but my partner does and raved about the beer he got. They feature a full bar as well as the various beers. The assistant mgr. stopped and visited with us, that was a nice surprise, she was quite personable and loved our German Shepherd. They have outside seating along the Spokane River and we will try that as soon as the weather settles! The only thing I don't like...You can't tell if they are open or not! Windows are dark, no lighted signs or any way to tell. You have to actually park the vehicle and go in...hoping they will be open. The first few times we went by...we were so sure they were closed that we didn't bother parking and checking. We just went on to a place that was open (for sure) I suspect they need a sandwich board outside the front door....saying WE ARE OPEN! (or a lighted sign in the window)

First, I thought NoLi stood for some behind the scenes adultery type action. You know, No Lie. Fortunately, I discovered that NoLi stands for Northern Lights. The place is chill and caters to a number of different types of crowds. In other words, everyone will fit in here. I had the soft pretzel and let me tell you, the gorgonzola mustard had some legs on it--this stuff will kick your butt. It's all fine and good until about 1 second after you ingest the substance. All bets are off. SPICY. I liked it! My friend and I shared the buffalo chicken salad, opting for a spice level of 2. This is the right amount of tangy. It was just hot enough to be delicious without the heat drowning out the flava. We each tried a couple of beers. I did the bitters, which apparently won an award. It was decent. I seconded with a Winter Warmer, which was not spectacular, but reminiscent of many other winter beers--somewhat heavy and hoppy. Nice open space with dark wood decor abounding.

  • Skylar G.

My husband and I went there for lunch and the food was pub quality but tasty. We wanted the Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout but sadly they were out. We settled on the Winter Ale which was also delicious. We ate the pork nachos and french dip sandwich, nothing knocked my socks off but it was good. Our server was nice and attentive. I'd go back for the beer alone.

The IPA was pouring out foamy and created a backup of orders, making it take forever before I could make an order. I had to just give up and leave. However, the beers are great and I like to support local breweries in Washington State. I currently have No-Li IPA on tap at Tim's Tavern on 105th.

I love love love No-Li beer. Their Crystal Bitter is probably my favorite beer of all time. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that I don't think their food matches the quality of their beer, but its still pretty good.

  • Dustin D.

Food was mediocre pub food at best. Small portions as well. Their beer is pretty good. Service is horrible. We had a group of five that sat in the bar area and enjoyed a couple beers prior to ordering. It was a Saturday night and by the time we ordered the rush had set in. Our server was frantic. She took our order and we did not see her for 45 minutes until I went to the bar to request some salad dressing for the second time. She neglected and I had to chase down another server to get my salad dressing. Upon recognition that she forgot my dressing she came to the table to apologize and stated, "I'm sorry, you all must have had your worst restaurant experience ever." I feel that the server was very astute with her recognition.

I came here a few years ago before the image change and I liked it. The beer was good and the food was ok. Went tonight and it was nice. The bartender was nice and she kept me full of samples and she sounded like she knew the product. I didn't eat but the food essentially looked like it didn't change much since the last timeI came in. I was told that there should be some new menu items coming in the next few weeks. I like the beer and I like the fact I can find it in stores since options are good.

The beer I believe is better than average. Food is okay. When we come to Spokane we generally will stop here for lunch. The restaurant has a nice warm brewpub feeling. Like other reviewers have stated it is understaffed. I don't like to have to leave my seat to get another beer from the bar. More beer I drink the more more money right. I know I could have another one but when my glass is empty my wife says time to go. Fix the waits and the reviews will improve dramatically from what I can tell! ****Edit**** Just recently returned. 1-3-15 Great service now. Food was very good also. My son was really into yoyos now and the waiter knew the chef was a X champion. He took time to come out and do a quick performance for them . It made their day. Thanks I will be back just for the fact that they gave the little extra time for the kids.

A hidden gem located on the Spokane River what looked to be a warehouse. Ambiance is wonderful. Had lunch in Adirondack chairs at the rivers edge. Sausage and brie sampler was wonderful. Traveling from out of town and found on Yelp. Would highly reccomend.

Holy sweet Jesus, I fell in love with this place. My experience may have been beer influenced, but I had a fantastic time the other day. I went there for the beer. I wanted to get the sampler, so I did. I love trying new beers. The most amazing part was that when I ordered the sampler, they brought me every beer they had on tap. All 12. They didn't have a way on the menu to charge me for that, so they gave me the 12 for the price of 11. A big deal? No. But cool. And I've never been to another brewery that did that. Did I like all the beers? No. But I don't expect to. I found a few beers I liked (my personal favorite was the Stellar Stout). The lady found other beers she really liked. totally worth it. Food. I had the garlic burger. I nearly died from the garlicky goodness. The Reuben left a little to be desired (needed more 1000 Island), but I didn't mind it. The pretzel with the cheese sauce was a great and thoroughly tasty way to start the evening. Service was on time and attentive. No complaints about that. Water was filled, questions answered, and everything was brought out in a reasonable time.

The beer selection is pretty good but the food and service are lacking. Like every other brew pub in the northwest to many IPA's on the menu. There is more to craft beer than hops.

Came in at 4:30 on july 14 and was told there was an electrical kitchen fire and only cold food and beer could be served until the fire marshall cleared the kitchen. We order the turkey club and pasta salad. How does the kitchen cook the rotini pasta? How do they toast the bread and cook the bacon? Two hours later the table next to us orders fish and chips and are told it'll take longer because they replaced the pump on the fryer. Every server lied about what was going on in the kitchen to every table, over heard about 5 different excuses. On top of that our server was stoned most likely or just had an iq of -7.

This can be a fun place to go when you go with a group of friends to take your mind off of the slow service. I would probably be more driven to go back if I liked their beer, but it's just not my style. Too bitter across the board.

  • K R.

I had been to No-Li before and gotten a salad and a drink (I LOVE that they use a local distillery as well as brew their own beers)! I had tasted my friend's fish and chips and it was wonderful. So I ranted and raved about it to my husband! We went for date night and we were both so disappointed. The batter for my fish and chips was not cooked all the way through and the fries were really soggy. My husband's $14 salad left MUCH to be desired and was not at all what he had hoped. The beer was good, the service was great and the scenery very nice (we saw a beaver swimming on the river). The food, however, was not AT ALL worth the $50 price tag!

Had the IPA, plank grilled Salmon, and Rocky mountain oysters. IPA was solid, salmon was good (wild caught they claimed). Rocky mountain oysters were heavily breaded but good. Staff ( Rene) was attentive and friendly.

Poor service. We had a large group for a work dinner, we called ahead weeks prior to reserve the space. We get there, it took 20 mins before anyone approached us as we attempted to flag someone down. The table was in the middle of the bar, not even a table, it was A BAR. The service was slow....SLOW would have been an improvement. While we waited for water, beer, drinks, napkins, six servers or whatever you call them wearing the No Li gear were standing around b*llshitting behind the bar while more than one table waited for service. The food was NOT worth the wait. The place wasn't that appealing or apparently clean. There were TOO many tables and chairs shoved into a WAY too small area. If you wanted to get up and go to the bathroom you rubbed up on at least ten people, none of which wanted to get to second base with you while you stumbled through the table and chair ridden pit to the bathroom in another part of the building. No surprise, the server messed up not only my appetizer order but my to-go order as well. They threw it in a box, making it look not appealing in the least, then it took twenty minutes to get some horseradish for it. The only decent thing was the HD T.Vs with the game on, but you couldn't hear the game, and since we were, AS A COMPANY DINNER, sitting at the bar one would expect to be able to see the T.V. since it was right in front of us. Never will I go back.

This place is nestled into a kitschy cute building with other shops, yet not difficult to find. The decor is nice and neat, and we were promptly attended to after seating ourselves. It was after happy hour had ended, so there weren't many people there, but the service was very friendly and attentive. We were a party of 3. We ordered a blueberry lemonade cocktail and a glass of latah creek huckleberry wine, the 4 beer sampler and an IPA, and 2 blueberry creme ales. I had the warm pretzel with mustard -- it was good! My mate had the turkey, bacon and avocado salad, and she's not a huge salad lover and said it was delicious. Her aunt ordered chips and salsa, and the plate was heaping and generous. The beer was very very good. Prices were as expected for what we ordered, but not too bad at all. We will be coming back to this nice place.

    (4)
  • L L.

This place was really cute inside, and our service was really great. I mean, when they didn't have an avocado for my salad they ran across the street to get a fresh one instead of just telling me to order something different as a lot of other places do!!! I tried a beer sampler and liked my all of my brews, then had an IPA and it goes without saying that I liked it. Our waiter kept our glasses full too--he did well. My afore-mentioned salad, which was ordered because it was decidedly un-salad like, was yummy. It had bacon, avocado, turkey, blue cheese, and oh yeah, lettuce and tomatoes. Since the restaurant is close to home, affordable, and good--I would go back in a heart beat.

Reviewers who have said it has good/great beer must never have been to a brewery before. The beer was mediocre at best. I guess in comparison to Bud Light it was OK... Server was not a ray of sunshine. We passed on food and that sounds like a good decision. Avoid it. You've got better options in the area.

I've only been to Northern Lights a couple of times, but both times the service was dissatisfying to the point where it overruled my otherwise general enjoyment of the place. The first time the waiter just wasn't very attentive and took his time about serving us; the second time it was the same case, but the waiter also completely cleared our table of any food or drink and then left us sitting for ten minutes before bringing our bill while he talked with other servers, only realizing we wanted to leave after we started putting on our coats and packing our bags. The food is pretty good (the burgers seem standard, but I really enjoyed the portabello mushroom sandwich), and the beer is also pretty good (again, most of it seems kind of standard to me, though their creme ale is nice and I recommend getting the off-menu Black and Blue - a mix of their chocolate dunkel and blueberry creme ale). It's all good enough for me to want to go back, but if the service doesn't start to pick up, I probably won't bother anymore.

    (3)
  • Michael B.

The beer was pretty good, but not outstanding. The setting was very pleasant. So lets get to the nitty gritty. After reading on Yelp I expected grumpy servers, slow service, and average food. Unfortunately for Northern Lights they did not violate this expectation. Slow service, grumpy, inattentive servers, and average food. To echo others, don't go here for the food. The beers where served quickly (although we finished them before getting the super slow (1hr +) food) and were good. I don't really think the place deserves 3 stars, more 2.5, but I always round up. They really need to invest in some server training - or at least some people with a little life in their eyes. If you like bold food flavors go elsewhere, then come here for a beer.

  • Jesse R.

Atmosphere is cool and I was pretty happy they had a "big" beer like they're Imperial Stout, which was tasty. Service was pretty good too. I tried the Cajun Chicken Pasta. You can choose between 1 and 5 stars for the spice level. The waiter told me that 2 stars had some kick, so I went with 5(as I always do in these situations). The pasta looked pretty good so I wound up a big bite and stuffed it in my mouth. My first thought was that it was a little bland as far as flavor itself goes and that I would definitely be adding some salt and pepper to it. My next thought was "holy crap where's the ice water!?!?!!?" It was the hottest thing I have ever eaten in my life...not sure what they put in it but I did not eat another bite, and I would say it would probably be inedible to 99% of the general public...or maybe I'm just a sissy. That was kind of a disappointment. They might need a little bit more of a warning for the 5 stars spiciness. I'll give it another try.

We went here with a group of 5 with no issues on a Friday night. When you pull up to the building, you wonder if your in the right place. You are! When you walk into the building the restaurant is in, there are 2 other places in the same building. It's a neat stroll down a street indoor. I did the FULL sampler platter which was 11 tasters! I liked many of the beers. What this says thought is that they have so many, you bound to find one you like. Top Choices: Crystal Bitter, Stout, and the Creme Notable Mentions: Blueberry Creme (everyone at our table liked it), IPA (not your normal hop flavors which was different and good) Food was pretty good, 3 of us had the fish and chips and the other 2 had the cedar plank salmon. The Fish was good, they need to get some better fries and it would be top notch. The comments about the Salmon was that the Salmon tasted much like the cedar plank that it came on. Literally, it came to the table on the cedar plank it was cooked on. The comments were the cedar flavor overpowered the salmon. I'm an avid craft brewer and beer drinker and love to visit breweries where ever I travel. This establishment is your typical beer pub that has a brewery. Had it not been a brewery we probably wouldn't go back, but next time I'm in town I'll check out what they have on tap. Cons: NO WEBSITE!!!!! Need to communicate with your followers and promote your beer, come on people it's only 2009. I'd be happy to trade website work for beer ;)

  • Brittany S.

This place is alright. I received a "you won't be disappointed!" sort of recommendation from several people about this place - so I admit, I had high expectations. Being a highly recommended brewery I expected there to be a much more lively crowd considering I went at the 5 o'clock hour - but I was wrong. The beer was good, but as for the overall experience comparing it to other breweries I have been to - I have definitely experienced better atmospheres. Not to mention the place is a pain in the butt to find. The beer was good, the food was alright, the service was okay, but I wouldn't really rave about this place to anyone.

Sadly, Northern Lights seems to be going downhill. What was once one of my favorite restaurants in Spokane has become a place I am afraid to go to for fear of wasting my money. I loved Northern Lights. I would always recommend it and bring people from out of town. Now, the food just isn't the same but the prices haven't dropped. Since I have quit drinking, there is just no reason to go here anymore. The food is too pricey and the last few dishes I have received just were lack luster. Even my favorite philly cheese steak wasn't that great the last time I went. I definitely felt like I wasted $15 when I should have spent about $5. Hopefully they get their act together. At least my friends say the beer is still good... *sigh*

We were there on a Friday night, and they were hosting a high school reunion in the patio just in front of the restaurant (and there was a party of 18 or so in the restaurant when we arrived, along with a full row of barstools and a few groups at tables near the bar). We had good service after a few minutes of waiting to be spotted (it's a "seat yourself" place). My wife doesn't drink beer, so she really focuses on the food, and she loved her salad. I had a chicken sandwich, and the 10-beer "sampler", which let me try a little of all their brews while still being able to drive home. Highlights: a Blueberry Creme (one of my 2 favorite "fruit" beers, along with a Strawberry pale that I had in Scottsdale years ago), the Chocolate Dunkel, the Crystal Bitter, and the Amber. I had their IPA from cask a few days earlier at the Elk Public House, and liked it then, but it seemed much more bitter here.

This place might just be a real gem in the summer time. We just went there for a couple of drinks and sat outside on their "patio" space that is right beside the river. Our daughter enjoyed the river and we enjoyed the beer. The service was good but pretty slow. We weren't in a hurry though. Might get another star if We try the food next time and it is good.

I have only been here once but I did enjoy the experience. I'm fairly picky when it comes to breweries but that because I've been spoiled by living in the NW for so long and I brew beer. I dropped in with a couple of friends to try the beer and get a quick appetizer. We had the cedar planked baked brie which was amazing. It went very well with the IPA I tried. The service was quick but we sat at the bar so it should have been. The food arrived quickly and the bartender was attentive. The beer was good but not great and by no means was it bad. I will have to go back again and try out more stuff to give them a better rating. If you're looking for a good brewpub on the east of the hills I would say that this should satisfy your needs quite well. Cheers!

OK... Spokane is arguably one of the most boring cities I have ever been. With that in mind, I know that boring cities have three things: Easy women, drugs and great beer. Let's just say that Spokane does not want to be pigeon holed. Northern Lights does however have GOOD beer. The food was OK, but the service was mediocre at best. As for women and drugs (I tried neither)...based on some of the gremlins I saw at the bar and the airport, I have my suspicions there as well.

  • Michael M.

Simply Terrible. The beer was horrible, which is the gravest mistake. The only things that looked like they where worth trying where on the board said that they had them on tap, and when I ordered them the waitress made it sound like I was an idiot for not knowing they where not on tap yet. The food, was terrible, I have had better food at McDonald's. All three of the things that were sub par at best. I don't expect killer food at a brewery, but I do expect solid bar food, and they couldn't deliver. If you are looking for a good brewery in the area, this is not it.

Inefficient would be the best way to describe our experience. We were passing through and wanted to try and new beer we've never had. We sat at the bar at around 3 pm and there were at least 6 people behind the bar...... No one helps. Finally, after a minute or two flagging someone down, the manager comes to help us. She then passes on the order to a tender that was too busy being loud and joking around with another bartender. Let's keep in mind that there are 6 of them and about 8 people at the bar. So we eventually get helped after the bartender was done telling his story to his friend. God forbid we interrupt, Mr. hat-kinked-to-the-side. And then the beer is a hair tastier than an MGD. Fail!

I make breweries a priority when visiting any new area and I really like this place. As someone else stated, it seems like an unlikely place at first...but you are in the right place. Very spacious and I like the decor. Really good beer! The IPA and the stout are among my faves. Great happy hour. I tried the seared Ahi app (part of happy hour specials!) OMG...served with this lettuce stuffed cone of fried parmesean...lllloooved it! Yum! I will return to this place again and again AND I'll take home some beer for those days when I can't be there in person!

  • Amanda H.

Northern Lights scores with me on several points. One, their beer is consistently good, and you can easily get a keg to take home for the kegerator (great for reducing recycling, and a good value per serving too.) We prefer the amber, the dunkel, and the fall or summer seasonals. Their lighter beers & winter seasonal tend to be a little sharp on the hops for my taste. Second, the food is good overall and delicious in a few cases. Their ahi appetizer is entertaining and yummy, and the black & blue prime rib or steak is mouthwatering. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous without being obscene. Third, it's easy to get to and find parking. The service is generally friendly and competent, although I've had a few servers that made me want to smack the table with my forehead. The outdoor area in the summer is relaxing and pleasant, but patience will be necessary. If you want quick service this is not the place to sit. Overall a pleasant experience, and someplace we eat a few times a year when we're picking up a fresh keg.

1st problem: website does not contain their street address-- we had to find it online in the yellow pages. 2nd problem: we drove around for 10 minutes looking for a company sign or address & came up empty until we realized that the restuarant is inside a warehouse with other businesses/restaurants. We we really motivated to find it--the promise of micro-brewed beer was really inticing. 3rd problem: even though the menu looked good and it was what we were looking for, ie. upscale bar food, the taste did not deliver: Clams were too salty (the broth that is), and that's supposed to be the best part! The ahi tuna was okay, but not great: the wasabi sauce lacked punch and the parmesan crsip was burnt! Definately, not good eats, as this should have been amazing; And finally there was the sausages- good but overcooked. This is a staple in any bar place and again, they should have been really outstanding with us wanting more! We had heard the service might be slow, but on this point we had no complaints. Would we try it again? Maybe. Unfortuately, the beer was nothing to write home about- we've had better.

The review of 4 stars is solely based against the other 81 brewpubs I've visited over the past few years. So don't think I'm comparing it to a $50 per plate type of place. The more I visit Northern Lights, the more of a fan I become. It's above average on the classy scale as far as all breweries are concerned, but below the other locals Steam Plant Grill and C.I. Shenanigans. So don't come in expecting an elegant meal and you will be satisfied. The food I've had is excellent. The philly sandwich is awesome, and the fish and chips can be amazing, though I have seen a lackluster performance once. Also keep in mind that I'm a midwestern boy, and am not used to remotely fresh cod, so the fish and chips are automatically way better than anything I'm used to. The specialty ice cream made with their beer can be skipped, it's not that good, but the cheesecake they bring in from the local dessert shop is absolutely amazing and well worth the indulgence. The beer is extremely consistent. I'm continually impressed by their darker selections, including the Stout and Porter. The lighter ones aren't bad, but for my money, I stick with the well-above-average dark selections.

Great beer! Their food is decent but this is a great place to pick up a keg for a bbq. And if you are planning on drinking in the morning they even have a Huckleberry beer. The now have a sign out on Hamilton but if you don't see it just look for the giant URM store and turn down that street. At the end of the road is a big parking lot and Northern Lights is in there.

Awesome home made chips and salsa and an amazing blueberry beer. Nice, chill place for dinner in an unexpected location.

Went to Northern Lights one night recently to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and had an less than memorable experience. At the outset, I was confused by the restaurant's set up -- I couldn't figure out if it was a brewery or a Thai restaurant. Also, it was nearly empty at dinnertime on a Sunday, though I might chalk that up to it being well below freezing and icy as heck. So, on to the food and the service. The food was, in a word, okay. It wasn't that it was bad. The presentation was nice, but led me to hold higher expectations than what was delivered. I ordered the lemon asparagus pasta (I'm paraphrasing, because I don't remember the official name from the menu) and I kept looking for flavor that just wasn't there. Everyone else at the table reported similar experiences with their meals, which ranged from the Fish & Chips (too bland) to the salmon (too dry), to the chicken pesto sandwich (just meh). The only person who seemed pleased with his meal was the birthday boy, who enjoyed his steak. Given that he's now 85 and has eaten his fair share of steaks, I trust his judgment. On a happier note, I have to give our waitress props because she had to deal with a table of almost 30 people and was totally pleasant. I wish I knew her name so that I could thank her properly. She was awesome. So, my overall rating is 2.5. Should I ever find myself back in Spokane, I can safely say that I would not dine here again.

I went to Northern Lights for one reason only...because it gave me miles on my United Dining Plan. On arriving are being perplexed about it's weird location, I ordered a drink and an appetizer from the manager because it was apparent that the waitress was way too busy with the 2 other tables she was waiting on. My friend and I ordered the balsamic glazed brie appetizer that was delicious (I would have given just this 5 stars) and I got a creme ale which was also very good. However, service got slower and slower as the night went on and the dinner was not that great. I got the Cajun Pasta. Mind you, I am Mexican and love love love spicy food. But this was so spicy that I could barely even eat it. My friend got steak which they had no steak sauce for...which sucked. So overall, the appetizer/beer was good and the service/dinner was not so great.

I can't say I remember ever haven eaten here, maybe once but I definitely remember the beer for giving me some very good nights. While not as good as some microbews it was a pleasant departure from the fizzy drinks that are often in kegs at parties. A decent price for the kegs too.

Great beer, bad food. There are a million other places that I'd rather go.

Food is okay but nothing to shout about. Service isn't that great but it has a really nice patio by the river -- and SURPRISE! you can smoke and drink out there! For that reason alone, it's worth going there.
