Definitely one of my favorite places in town and they have top notch pizza. They have a really cool, urban decor that I find very welcoming. Just about every table in the restaurant is a great place to sit, so you don't find yourself being envious of somebody else's table. They have several beers on tap (10-15?) and I think they have good taste. The pizza is excellent. I think it is one of the top two pizza places in town for sure. The desert cookie is freakin' delicious! It is baked fresh in the oven when ordered... so you need to have it. The service has been good. Not amazing, but never bad. Prices are reasonable. Give Fire a try!

Trendy atmosphere in a central downtown location, Fire offers a casual pizza dining experience. A wide ranging selection of drafts at the bar and wine list will satisfy most tastes. Besides a few appetizers everything on the menu is pizza. Quite appropriate for a pizzeria, but a bit surprising for a trendy-style restaurant. Atmosphere is excellent - high ceilings, modern music juxtaposed with old movie played on the single TV at the bar, good lighting. One downside is the amount of tables -- it wasn't busy when we came in, but our party of 5 were basically forced to sit at the bar because no tables are available. Concept of Fire is great for larger parties, but unfortunately execution is lacking (although I didn't call ahead). I would estimate the max capacity of patrons here to be less than 40. Service was strange, since the host was also a server, and told us that the wait would be "a few minutes" although we quickly figured out it would be much longer. He offered us to sit at the bar. The bartender was attentive and provided good drink recommendations. However, after we were finished, he added 20% gratuity to all of our bills. I was shocked! I mean, I understand when servers do so when the serve large parties, but we were sitting at the bar, and only had pizza and a few beers each. I inquired with the bartender and he explained it was standard to do so. If that's the case, then it is the strangest auto-gratuity policy I've ever heard of. Food - pizza was excellent, with a proper crust and plenty of toppings. I tried mushroom and margherita, and both were worth trying. Overall, the experience wasn't what I expected from seeing 4.5 stars on Yelp. While I had no complaints with the food/drinks, service was bizarre, and the size of the restaurant couldn't accommodate my needs. The rating is borderline 3.5 (which I usually give 4 stars for), but the value brings it down to 3 (prices are quite high for the experience).

I dropped by here on a Sunday right after they opened at 11am. I was their first customer. I asked about the lunch special with a salad and half pizza, and was told that was only a weekday thing. That made me sad, but I dithered and decided to eat there, anyway. (I do hope they make this weekday distinction clearer in the menu on their website.) I ordered the Spinach and Gorgonzola Salad. The server prepared it quite quickly. The salad was delicious and of a good size, though it did seem expensive since it was largely lettuce with no added protein. Still, I am rating them four stars because the service was excellent and the salad (though not as filling as I would have liked) was tasty. Plus, they were fine with me lingering another 15 minutes--and brought me more water--because I still had a lot of time before the bus to the airport passed by. That was appreciated.

She wanted pizza. I wanted some place new to try. Located right next door to Nudo. Contemporary decor with casual warmth. Happy Hour featured any pizza for just $6! Size? Half that of their regular 12" full sized pies. Gluten free crusts available only on whole, full sized pizzas and at no additional charge! They use unbleached white flour in their regular pizza. We chose to try their regular crusts. FOOD 1 Whole Pepperoni Pizza 1 HH snack sized regular Garden State 1 dessert Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie + Vanilla Ice Cream Water is served from our own chilled, wine bottle carafe into glasses containing slices of cucumber. The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven in view of the dining room. Our pizzas were tender and soft, not hard to the bite, served on wooden cutting boards. I think my snack size Garden State had a generous amount of topping, sans red onions. A nice balance of crimini mushrooms, goat cheese, spinach, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, topped with cherry tomatoes on a garlic olive oil sauce, that was a perfect serving for one. The regular size Pepperoni was light with the meat topping, to me, but my guest loved it, simple with just mozzorella and tomato sauce. Our warmed Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie, served with Tillamook Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, was a just right dessert. The huge cookie was served on an eight inch plate, the dark chocolate chunks gooey and oozing. The ice cream, not too sweet, was a perfect accompaniment. Service was a little spotty. We were here after 4:00pm and were invited to sit where we pleased. Our water and food arrived in a timely manner but we were not checked upon during our meal until we were near finished . The check arrived promptly after we had asked for boxes for our leftovers. The food will definitely call us back again.

This place is so cute and modern!! Great service and yummy wood fire pizzas! My girlfriend and I went there on Friday just for drinks. We had the Rosé and we say up at the bar and watched as the staff were making pizzas.. Such a cool thing to watch. I personally love wood fire ovens for pizzas. After our drinks we headed for the next bar. They next afternoon (Saturday) we returned for lunch. The bartender ( I can't remember his name) :( remembered us!! This time we ordered beer and pizza. He suggested we try the Gordy but I think it's spelled Gourdy.. It wad an olive oil based pizza with mozzarella and gruyere cheese (I think) it also has dates on it. The pizza was a pretty interesting flavor, good however, we are the entire pizza! I'll absolutely be back to try more stuff on the menu next time I'm visiting Spokane. Highly recommend!

My wife and I both enjoyed the atmosphere and the pizza. The atmosphere reminded me of Pi Pizzeria in St. Louis, MO. I had the Camino and it was very good. My wife also really enjoyed the Chicken Pesto. My only complaint was the portion options. The pizzas are said to be 12". But they are shaped like a football and not a circle. One is not enough for two people but probably just barely more than one person can eat unless you're really hungry. Each pizza is around $16 so $32 for enough pizza for two people gets to be a little salty in my opinion but if value is not your primary concern you will enjoy their pizza.

Great pizza. Indifferent staff. We had two different types of pizza (garden - veg and meatball. Both were very good - the crust was fantastic. Waitress not friendly until it was time to deliver check. Save the night out. Order in and pick up your own bottle of wine.

My fiancée and I decided to keep it simple and enjoy one of our favorite "comfort" foods...pizza!! Being Yelp enthusiasts, we decided to scope out our options. Fire Artisan Pizza had a 4 1/2 star rating that definitely factored into our decision--thank goodness we did! On our last night in Spokane before heading to Seattle to continue our vacation, we had what was quite possibly our favorite meal of the trip! Brynna was our waitress and she is either damn good at her job, or had the stroke of genius on this night. We were between the Mediterranean salad and the Seven Mushrooms options for an appetizer. Going with the Mushrooms, we were met with an incredible, and surprising tomato and regular pesto flavor. Artichoke and melted cheese laid on the mushrooms. It was delicious!!! We followed that up, with Brynna's favorite pizza, the Camino. Grilled chicken, bbq, bacon, red onion, cilantro, and habanero sea salt. Seriously, it was perfection. For dessert, we were offered a cookie with ice cream. As generic or simple as it may sound, it was a perfect compliment and ender to an incredible meal. The cookie, chocolate chip, was plate-sized and had vanilla bean ice cream on top. With a pinch of salt on the cookie, it was a divine and satisfying dessert. All in all, this place was exquisite. The ambiance, the music, the staff, the food...it all worked in perfect harmony! We will be back again!!

Woah this place is LOUD. Dampen that roof will ya? I had my hopes up for this place. Still looking for Spokane's best pie (Luna?). This isn't your traditional wood-fired pizza - a somewhat undercooked & doughy pie. Sometimes room temperature, sometimes hot. Always too soft. Maybe they don't bring it to the table right away but wait for all pizzas in order to be ready? But that would be silly. Salads could be awesome but need a little zing. Friendly staff.

  • Alia Z.

Delicious Pizza with a cool trendy atmosphere. I wish there was a way to order pizza from there to go with ease but as it is downtown that is not the case. This is a go to and sit and eat type of place. Great wood fired crust with just the right amount of crisp and chew. Every pizza I have had there has been great. The Parma is my fave, but I love the Gordy and the Margherita and the Crimini. Says a lot about a place when every dish you have ordered has been delicious! Go try it now!

Yet another excellent eatery that confirms that you get more for your money in Spokane! Their lunch deal is amazing: half pizza & half salad for just $9. And the portions are more than generous, especially for lunch. The interior is clean and modern, with high industrial ceilings and huge framed black & white photos all around. It's great for solo diners, business lunches and family outings alike. I was super impressed with the quality of the food; the pizzas are nice & thin with gourmet toppings, and the Mediterranean salad is to die for, packed with artichoke hearts, white beans, parmesan, sun dried tomato and capers with a creamy garlic dressing. I've had this salad for dine-in and take-out, and the take out portion seems even bigger when you get it to-go! Would totally recommend Fire for gourmet eats, sleek ambiance and friendly service (all for a bargain price!)

  • Amanda T.

The food was great! My sister and I had the Pesto pizza and I had the Rose wine. It was very good and one could tell the quality of ingredients. So food/drink wise I would give it five stars. Service was the fail here. There was one person waitressing and hostessing on a Sunday so she was obviously frazzled. Service I would give a 1 star - so it evens out to 3

  • Trevin S.

Second best pizza place in down behind The Flying Goat. The Flying Goat may have better pizza, but it blows the Flying Goat out of the water with great costumer service and the ability to reserve tables. I highly recommend the Thai Pizza and ask about the Honey Badger Pizza. Amazing. Our server Cara was great!

    (5)
  • Johnson S.

Excellent wood fired pizzas! I mean excellent. This is what pizza should taste like. Chewy crust with crispy bubbles from a perfectly feed active yeast dough cooked very quickly in a wood oven. So yummy.

  • Joshua C.

I was visiting from out of town. Great food and the service was good. Nice restaurant and cool place to hang out on my first night. The Thai pizza was amazing!

  • Heather J.

This is a 4 star for Spokane, but in Portland I would probably give it a three (the competition is stiff!). Good prices. Good service. Limited but appealing menu. I had the pesto and chicken, and the quality of ingredients was really nice, and the pesto was, I'm going to say it, amazing. Obviously made to order (or at least that day) fresh.. The crust, however was average.

    (4)
  • Terry D.

Nice atmosphere with great service. Not my favorite pizza but clearly high quality ingredients and perpetration. I prefer my pizza a little thinner crust and crisper. Getting a Go Dawgs from the bar tender gets you a 4th star.

  • Alyssa J.

Had a great lunch here with a friend. AMAZING food. I didn't pay so I don't know about prices but I left happy and full. We got the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, sooo good, I haven't had many better. The atmosphere was probably my favorite part of this experience, laid back and warm but still very modern. They blended everything very well. I spoke with the owner for a short period of time. Amazing, nice man. He talked about opening another location in the tricities. I hope he does, they deserve this restaurant. Waitress was kind and sweet but was surprised when I asked her name, maybe slow down a little?

  • Colleen M.

Wow! Everything here is superb! I've been here 2x and loved it. The crust is crisp, the flavors are intense, and the AC is fantastic on a hot summer day. The staff is friendly. I had a salad with Gorgonzola cheese, dried cherries and nuts + half a Thai Pizza for the lunch special $10. Great deal! The classic pepperoni is also great. The cookie dessert with ice cream is rich, gooey, buttery perfection! The cookie is baked in the pizza oven immediately before its served, so it comes out hot with the center still soft... Best cookie I've ever had! The flavor combinations here are outstanding!

This place seems to be a clashing mesh of ideas. The decor is very artfully done...to look at. Seating is odd and uncomfortable. The food, however, is really good! It is hard to beat a wood fired pizza crust. The pizzas here are hand stretched, and not your traditional circle. Each one is more of a custom oval. Sauce is just right and not overdone. Toppings taste great, top quality stuff. Some other weirdness. The water was brought out in a large chilled bottle with a stopper in it. Kind of cool from a presentation standpoint I suppose, but seems a little uppity for what I am sure is just tap water. And they put cucumber slices in the bottom of the glass. Not feeling that at all. I noticed they have several wines and about 20 taps for beers, so lots to enjoy that way. Service was friendly but not intrusive, and I feel that the price was very reasonable, especially considering how good the pizza tastes. They really need to work on the seating though. A Formica covered box may work for a counter top, but seating like that is not something that will pull me back. While the place looks cool, I think they need to back off the style a little bit and focus more on substance.

So the pizza was okay nothing special. That keonte was very mellow nothing I'm very used to especially coming from Italy the last couple of years. My experience would have been better if the waitress had enough Sat 3 children beside me with 7 adults while I'm trying to enjoy my lunch alone. Other than those disappointments I would give it a 3 star overall

  • C W.

Fun atmosphere and fantastic pizzas. It's all about the crust!

  • Bruce A.

This restaurant is very noisy. In fact, as much as we wanted to eat here, we knew it was too loud for normal conversation. Food? It must have been good for people to put up with the racket bouncing off all those hard surfaces. HEY MANAGEMENT: Please do some sound level remediation to your nice restaurant. Get something in there to absorb the noise. Perhaps in the ceiling. Dining is about more than good food.

I've been in Spokane for a couple weeks from LA, and the BEST place I've found is fire pizza. What a gem. It's actually probably the BEST pizza I've ever had and the staff is always amazing and hospitable. I don't get how the crust is so good but it's AWESOME, the movie selection as well is always on point.

This place was great, ordered pizza, wine and appetizers. Defiantly recommend it to anybody looking for a chill, good place to eat! Definitely will b going back!

  • Courtney S.

Went here last night with friends -- amazing food, chic but not too much, ambiance with cool b/w photos on wall and splashes of red. Great wood fired pizzas for meat eaters and veggies a like. Salads super delicious too. Had air of foodies with me and we all agreed an excel r choice when in Spokane! Super service too and good wine/beer list.

Stopped in for lunch, during Restaurant Week. We both ordered the special. Wife had Mediterranean salad and Parma pizza. I had Gorgonzola salad and Camina pizza. All was verry good but the Parma was too salty for our tastes. And dessert? Whay can be bad about a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream? We will definitely be back!

  • Shannon V.

Get the Thai pizza, super tasty and definitely worth the price. Wonderful atmosphere and fast and friendly service!

  • Carol M.

Great unusual pizzas. I had the Cimini which was mushrooms and cheese! Yum! Thin crust pizza and generous portions. I wasn't planning to eat the whole thing but I did!

    (5)
  • Jennifer S.

Delicious pizza - I don't know how they make the crust, but it is the best. Great service - quick - and not uber expensive.

  • Nicole K.

So glad we read the reviews and chose this spot for dinner! Best pizza Ive had in a long time, great happy hour prices, comfortable dining room and perfect service! Highly recommend!

  • Bela B.

Trendy, modern and clean. Definitely try the Parma (prosciutto, gorgonzola, pecorino, mozzarella and provolone cheeses - I mean, can you go wrong with that? - finished with truffle oil with a little bit of truffle salt sprinkled on top (truffle salt really brings out that truffle flavor, delish! The waiter suggested trying it on my eggs. And I will.) My friend got the pepperoni pizza and she said "that's good" but more like "that's gooooooood." For apps we tried the thai meatballs and dipped it in thai peanut sauce. I give that one 5 stars. Customer service was good, friendly. They have a bar. The seat was a little uncomfortable but I guess furniture that is trendy and modern tends to be only pleasing to the eye. Not the butt. I'll be back again.

Cool place to stop by for some really good pizza's, you even get a cucumber in your water :-), there price's are low for the quality food they make, get them a try or three ;-)

Wow! Am I really in Spokane? This is a wonderful eatery that could standout even in a bigger city. Wood fired pizza is great especially the Thai Chicken but they have other varieties for the less adventurous. My friend and I shared a pizza which was plenty- especially since we knew going in that we needed to save room for desert and you should do the same- a freshly baked (big) chocolate chip cookie topped with grey sea salt and amazing vanilla ice cream. Again we shared and both had plenty. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Spokane so I can eat at Fire again. PS- located right across the street from the Davenport Hotel downtown so very convenient location from any of the downtown hotels.

  • Ed G.

Awesome place and the pizza is by far the best in downtown Spokane. We order the Thai pizza and I ordinarily don't like Thai but it was truly amazing

  • Andrea D.

Normally I try to go to a restaurant at least twice before writing a review, but wow, this restaurant is serving some very delicious pizza!! I took one bite of my meat pizza and was in heaven. The cheese was so gooey and the toppings were so tasty. I guess the one semi con was the outer crust was a little burnt, but the toppings, cheese, sauce, and interior crust tasted so good. They also had a couple of good local beers on tap. Hopefully i will be able to come back again this summer.

    (5)
  • Robert B.

We had three pizzas. They were all very good and were what we expected for an artisan pizza. The crust was nicely cooked. The only complaint would be that the pizza could have used a little more seasoning. We added salt to our three and it made a big difference. The cookie was awesome. With parking and tip four of us ate for about $80.

    (4)
  • Shane M.

Amazing pizza and great salad for only $10 lunch special. The BBQ pizza is fantastic flavor.

    (5)
  • Jerome S.

Having at at every pizza place in Spokane, I think fire is amazing. The crust is really good, and the pizzas cook FAST in that wood oven (very cool looking at the real wood embers). Atmosphere is very modern, but has a cozy bar. Parking downtown can be a problem.. but its a must go to if you are looking for pizza downtown. I have ate here 7 times now, and will always be excited to go back.

    (5)
  • Brandi G.

The best pizza in town, hands down. The new happy hour menu is fast and affordable. Thai Peanut Chicken Pizza is my favorite! Great atmosphere and service too!

    (5)
  • Jess M.

Excellent food, and pretty affordable. I really like the atmosphere, good music, interesting art on the walls. My only complaint is the beer. I order a beer the server recommends, it comes in a small glass! I feel like I should have been told it was a baby beer, but not on the menu or by the server. For $5-6 I should be able to get a good microbrew PINT, and I order accordingly. Their beer selection is good, many great brews from the Pacific NW. Aside from the beer value, this place is 5/5 stars!

    (4)
  • Lynn B.

Great pizza, service was what you'd expect at a pizza place, I'll be back soon. So good!!!

    (4)
  • Jessica S.

I am in love with this place! I always get their Parma pizza and a glass of the red, Fire wine. Great relaxing, "at home", dine-in atmosphere. Staff is friendly and communicates very well. Don't forget to try their cookie dessert!

    (5)
  • Samantha F.

I went there tonight with a friend for happy hour. The staff was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable about their menu. The service was fast and the happy hour prices were a great deal. The atmosphere was also very modern and stylish. I'll be back!

Great pizza. Especially the crust. Good selection of beer.

All right, Spokane. You've got better pizza than Portland. Well, to be more specific, Fire Artisan Pizza has better pizza than Portland. (Yes, I said it. Fire is better than Ken's Artisan. Better than Apizza Scholls. Yes, I know I may get beaten up for saying this. But it's worth the risk.) Fire Artisan Pizza accommodated our large Savor Spokane tour group in such an effortless and elegant way, taking our drink orders before we even arrived (via phone), and bringing out stunning pizzas after stunning pizza for us to share. Oh, the date/gorgonzola. Oh, the spicy Thai. Oh, the bubbly, thin, charred crust. Oh, the gorgeous minimalist atmosphere. I can't wait to go back. Don't miss Fire Artisan Pizza if you're in Spokane--this is the place to go.

    (5)
  • Mikayla H.

The cookie....go there for the warm, gooey cookie alone. Perfect to share. Salads are good too!!!

  • Tee G.

Best Pizza we have had since living in the Northwest. ( 10 years ). What a find. Onion soup was sweet not heavy , salads were so tasty. And yum to the pizza , wow. I kept it pure with a cheese and my wife went with the crimini. The only negatives if I'm being honest is the bar seats and table seats are very uncomfortable. Awesome decor otherwise and just because my lower back and butt hurts doesn't mean at all that were not coming back for more. !!!

    (5)
  • Josh W.

Four stars just for the pizza. Service was marginal and the hostess was pretty hot. They have a decent selection of beer and you can watch the cooks take their sweet ass time making your za since they decided to reveal all of the internal operations of their restaurant. I got the Camino and an Irish Death. Recommended. The atmosphere? Strong hipster vibe. Every song that plays makes you feel like you're in an underwater rave party where everyone is wearing beanies and wool socks and licking each others neck beards. Owl fucking city bitchezzz.

    (4)
  • Jeremy P.

Great food, music, and architecture, but distracting flatscreen playing sports - anomalous and unwelcome - and rather generic b&w photography for art - looks like stuff lifted from a clothing catalogue. Some revision to the decor - and kill the t.v. - and the place would be a good pick.

  • Cylix S.

This pizza place is awesome!! Really clean, modern feel to the interior. Good beers on tap mostly micro brewed local gems. Great dough, not greasy. The thai pizza is superb, all the ingredients are fresh. They play old scool movies at the bar- my wife and I love this place.

I have to say I was impressed by the pizza, and the caprice salad very Tasty, Portland or Seattle quality food, not the usual cheap is good no matter how it tastes Spokane usually sees... Given that, I am not impressed by the parking (there isn't any), the hostess asked what she could do for me? If I didn't want to be seated I am not sure why I was standing there lol.... The place has a nice decor though it is small... I suspect a group of any size would need reservations.

Super delicious pizza with unique ingredients, the thai pizza was the bomb! Overpriced for the size of the thing but otherwise great.

  • Stephanie K.

Stopped in for Friday night dinner around 6pm. It was really busy and we could only get a hightop table. It was a bit difficult to eat while sitting on top of your jacket! We shared the meatballs and margarita pizza. Food came out in good timing and pizza was delicious! Meatballs were pretty average. We asked for dessert, thinking that we would get a dessert menu. Instead he brings over the dessert which is a cookie and ice cream. While it was tasty, I don't think we would have ordered it if we knew that was the only option.

Had the crimini with truffle sea salt, it was delicious! You just really have to love mushrooms as I do, because it's loaded with them. Great staff.

Love this place! My favorite is their version of a Thai pizza, but I've had several and they've all been great. Cool environment and overall vibe. I really enjoy going to Fire. Been there for both work meetings and date-night visits with my wife. Absolutely awesome!

  • Bryson U.

Literally one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. I got the camino which is a little spicy, but the flavor is incomparable!

    (5)
  • Lovey O.

Great lunch specials. Not much selection, but it's a good amount of food for what you're paying. The dinner menu has far more variety. They have beer and wine. Cute decor with a modern feel mixed with wood. Street parking. As far as the pizza goes, it has a heartier crust than similar places in town like South Perry Pizza and Flying Goat. This is a welcomed addition to Spokane's artisan pizza joints, but best of all, it's Downtown.

Stopped by at the recommendation of a friend, and was extremely impressed from the time we walked in the door. Quick, friendly greeting at the door, staff was quick to bring menus and water (with a cucumber slice!) and patiently answered our questions about the menu items. Very clean, trendy decor and an inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed looking at all the art on the walls, trying to identify all the NW landmarks that were represented in the photos. Thought the silent movie playing on the wall over the bar was pretty cool! Now for the important part! EXTREMELY impressed with the food! Started with the Spinach and Gorgonzola Salad, then moved on to "The Gordy" which was served sliced into squares on a large cutting board. At first bite, I was confident that this was the best pizza I had ever had. Who knew that dates, cheese and balsamic vinegar could taste so amazing together! Also shared a slice of my sister's Thai pizza which was drizzled in sweet chili sauce and sprinkled with serrano chilis - immediately set my mouth on fire - but was also amazing. Will definitely return, and excited for when the Kennewick location opens!

Stopped by with the fam on a road trip because they were close to the hotel. Very lucky stop. This place is awesome. Great atmosphere and service, and the Thai pizza was the best we've ever had (although pretty spicy). The cookie dessert is a must.

This place has amazing pizza. I had the pepperoni and it was just fabulous. Its woodfire pizza has that great flavor and their crust and sauce is like no other, delish! I'm from out of town and will be craving this pizza. The hostess was very friendly and conscientious, this place is worth giving a shot

Went here tonight with my wife for dinner. We ordered two pizzas and could have bee fine with one. Service was excellent with the waiter being extremely friendly. Pizzas cost about $15 per. We will definitely be eating here in the future.

  • Kyle R.

Wow, what an amazing place. My partner and I arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation, but we were greeted right away and accommodated. The space has a very trendy vibe to it and the food is wonderful. The french onion soup was one of the best I have had. The pizza was also very tasty. Whenever I am back in Spokane I will make it a point to stop here.

  • Damian W.

Oh yum! Not only is the pizza amazing but there's a salad on the menu that is incredible! Fire offers a wonderful and relaxing environment that makes it easy to decompress and enjoy your meal. Staff have a generally good outlook on life and are easy to engage in conversation without that awkward stranger pause. These folks know how to make the experience amazing.

This place has a good location and vibe, but it is missing out on some important elements. What I liked: *Both salads on the menu were very tasty, and the portion sizes were generous. *Friendly service *The crust was good, and the server brought out a balsamic dipping sauce that was a nice addition. What I did not like: *The pizza was only average. The one pizza I tried said it had mushrooms on it, which sounded nice, but I did not realize that the mushrooms would totally cover the pizza so that nothing else was visible and mushrooms were the only flavor I could taste. At least the mushrooms were high quality. The margarita pizza was pretty good, but I've had better in Spokane. *The seating was uncomfortable. *The wine offered on the wine menu was not a very good selection, and both wines I tried were low quality (My father, who is far more sophisticated than I am when it comes to wine, agreed that it was not very good)

Wonderful service, excellent pizza and salad lunch special with attention to details like truffle salt with the crimini pizza. If you love wood fired pizza this is a must visit. Will definitely be coming back again!

Oh my goodness, the best pizza I have ever tried in Spokane. So so so good! My favorite is the Parma pizza (rosciutto, gorgonzola, pecorino, mozzarella and provolone cheeses, finished with truffle oil) -- Holy moly there are NO words to explain how delicious it was. It was so rich, but not heavy. The crust was delicious and soft, not hard. The decor is great, the water bottles were unique and they have cucumber in your water, instead of a lemon. The parmesan on the side is FRESHLY grated, none of that powdered cheese -- it's legit! It's a different atmosphere, a little classier than your average pizza parlor, but still casual enough to hang with a bunch of your friends. I will definitely be back!

Been here about 4 times and the pies are excellent... short menu and that is ok as i can see they do one thing, and do it well... i had the arugula/parma one time and the pepperoni the next both look terrific the anti-pasta platter was awesome. The atmosphere is very cool and nicely designed you can tell they knew what they were doing one caveat is that they need to find some noise control and put some sound tempting is in the restaurant would also be good to have a waiting area as it feels uncomfortable eating a pizza having people staring down at you as you dine..,, overall very good...

Amazing pizza!! We got the Gordy on the suggestion of the waiter and could not have loved it more. The staff was great, and the atmosphere is cool. The two appetizers we tried ( stuffed mushrooms and spinach salad) were delicious . Will totally be back!!!

Pretty tasty Thai pizza, sure was spicy though! Happy Hour specials aren't great but I'll be back, especially for that lunch special. Very good service also, and cool interior with a silent movie playing on the wall over the bar.

So I had seen the adverts for this place and decided to try it, and have been back on two more occasions! This place definitely satisfies that chewy thin artisan pizza need. I think it draws an instant comparison to Flying Goad, which I think most will prefer, but this does have an easy downtown location. We tried several pizzas, including the balsamic date, parma, meat, and mushroom pizza. Also on one occasion the beat and antipesto salad, and the desert cookie with ice cream. I enjoyed the balsamic date pizza the most, as it reminds me of the great pear balsamic creation at the flying goat. They also have a pretty decent beer selection that is probably better than the more average flying goat brew. Oh and that desert cookie was so friggen good (5 star for sure). All in all, maybe not a 5 star but probably the best place I have been to in Spokane in awhile. Definitely head in for some awesome pizza and beer, and don't forget to have that cookie as well!

The best pizza in Spokane. Great atmosphere, serving wood fired pizza, with top quality ingredients. I recommend the crimini mushroom pizza, which I added fennel sausage to. With just a sprinkle of truffle salt..... WOW!

Nice to have a Fire in both CDA and Spokane. Love wood fire pizza and the unique flavor and toppings. My favorite wood fire pizza is Veraci - but Fire fills in well when Veraci is not available. French onion soup is great too.

The pizza was delicious! Our service was prompt and they had a good beverage selection. However, it was so loud in there. Once the tables filled up my friend and I had to speak above a normal level to hear each other. So I'd either get my pizza to go next time or try to get there and eat before 7 which is when it started to fill up. The food was a four the noise made it a three.

This place is pretty solid. The environment is pretty relaxing. It has a modern feel that makes the atmosphere nice for eating. I got the Thai pizza which I highly recommend. The crust was thin and perfectly greasy. The siracha adds a really nice spicy kick. Definitely one of the best pizza places in Spokane at reasonable prices.

I have died and gone to pizza heaven. The Gordie is probably the best pizza I have EVER had! We added the applewood bacon and it was spectacular.

Anyone who thinks this place is expensive is crazy. Go with friends and share the pizza and try different kinds. It has a very modern feel to it and the television is projected so it isn't too distracting. The crust is soft and crispy on the edges. I had the meat pizza and the toppings were great and the crust was great, very good sauce as well.

Heck yeah! BBQ chicken pizza is amazing. Spinach salad was unbelievable. The service was great. Atmosphere was fun & hip, although a little loud. Most importantly...the cookie is absolutely LIFE-CHANGING!

This place has potential but right now it's a little rough around the edges. THE GOOD *The general atmosphere is contemporary and inviting, I really like the feel/vibe of the place and enjoyed the white ribbon lamps. * Their crust, a highly important part of pizza, is by far the BEST crust I've had in the area. * They properly use cornmeal on the peel and not flour that burns up like Veraci and other wannabe gourmet pizza places. * The salad was very good. * The chicken on the pizza was perfectly cooked and moist. * The Camino Pizza was very good and surprisingly it tasted better the next cold (the curst didn't but that is to be expected.) THE NOT SO GOOD * Ice tea out of the soda machine (belch) *Server brought over our bottle of water but she was holding the top of the bottle so her hands were all over the pouring spout. * The service, when we weren't ready to order RIGHT AWAY the server sighed and walked away. It seemed as if she wanted to punish us for not being ready so for the next 10+ minutes we sat waiting and waiting as she walked by refusing to look at us. Seriously drop the attitude, in the end you lost out with a lower tip. * The Pesto Pizza was GREASY and not just from the oil in the pesto. Also the pesto came out looking like pesto turds that a goose would have dropped, we had to use a knife and spread out the pesto bombs on the pizza. * It was COLD in there (we went on a hot summer day). I like COLD so it was perfect for me, which means it was cold for 99% of the dining public, bring a coat. THE BAD *The chairs (PERIOD). The chairs at the high-tops and the bar have no backs and are uncomfortable. The chairs at the table are vinyl and the settee is wood topped with Formica, no cushion for you bottom. It seemed to us that we were in the McDonald land of seating. Where the concept is to only be comfortable for the first 10 minutes, just enough to scarf down your food and leave. * The music - seriously the music was loud and it was not conducive to a dining experience, When we first sat down we had a bunch of garage grunge stuff playing then it turned to some modern flamenco, then on to house techno, followed by elctro-rock, and then some indie rock. A lot of the music I liked but I don't want it so loud that I have to raise my voice to talk to my dining companion and I don't want to eat to these tunes. Not dissing the artist's but it's NOT music to dine by. Here, this was playing while we ate, you decide youtube.com/watch?v=_0Fs… BOTTOM LINE: Pizza Crust 5 Stars Pizza Toppings 4 Stars Service 2 Stars Ambiance (not counting seats and music) 4.5 stars Seats 1.5 Stars Music 1 Star Pizza was really good but we wouldn't go back due to the uncomfortable seats and lout inappropriate music. TOTAL 3 Stars

Stayed at the Davenport Hotel and was craving pizza and saw this place across the street. Nice space, industrial furnishings in a high-ceilinged room, tables spaced comfortably apart to give you a little privacy. I snagged a table in the corner next to the front window. Downtown Spokane can be a little sketchy at night but this particular block is quiet and seems to be people on their way to or from dinner or heading to the hotel. I ordered the "Camino" pizza. It's a pretty standard BBQ chicken pizza but with a couple of standout additions. The "Kansas City" bacon is thicker than the usual grocery store variety and lends some real oopmh to the pie. But the real star here? The habanero sea salt that gets sprinkled over the pie! That salt and the little bit of heat really tie all of the flavors together. It makes for a seriously kick-ass pizza! The pies are so huge that I could only finish 2/3 of one and got the rest to go. The Camino was as good cold as hot!

This place was amazing and our waitress Heidi was fantastic! The restaurant is small, so RSVP if you can. They also have lots of beer on tap and bottled as well as wide selection of wines. We had a group of 9 people and all of us needed separate bills (reimbursement for work) and Heidi was super happy to accommodate. Heidi also knew lots about the beer on the menu...very knowledgeable! Make sure you have the dessert...OMG, super delicious and enough for 4 people for sure! AWESOME place!!

Just tried this place out today. I had the pesto pizza and it was mind blowingly good and totally satisfying. I was also pleased that the prices were so reasonable for such obvious quality. We received excellent service, the place is just plain cool to be in, and the staff are passionate about what they're doing. Great food, and officially my favorite pizza in town.

Love this place!! The only downfall is the HORRIBLE stools. Ugh! So uncomfortable! But the pizzas are amazing and the atmosphere is cool and HUGE bonus points for being open Sunday nights!!

Pizza is expensive but of very good quality. Been several times, downtown location refused to seat us last visit despite me putting a call in 2 hours earlier. Girl on phone says "You don't need a reservation tonight." We get there with 2 families complete with young kids and the manager tells us there is an hour wait. Good thing Agave was open on the corner.

Wow!!! This place is incredible. Great pizza and its Wood Fired. You can tell there is a lot of care that goes into this pizza. Top notch ingredients. the crust has this unbelievable flavor. Great service and really comfortable. This place is a great addition to downtown Spokane.

Great pizza. Loved the crust and the flavors of fresh toppings. However, I do share the views of a previous review about feeling "rushed". I am wondering if the staff is told that turnover is of greater priority than sincere, relaxed service?

I had high expectations when I arrived with reservations for 4. I notified the hostess that our party of 4 was now just 3 of us. After a few minutes we were shown to a table that was clearly only big enough and meant for two with a third chair pulled up. I politely asked our server if we could be put at a larger table for three since we originally had a table for 4, I didn't see the problem since they had clearly separated our table for 4 and made it into two 2 tops and added our additional chair. We were refused and literally had only enough room for our water and drinks...when food came we had to put our pizzas on the same board because there wasn't enough room for our plates, drinks, and the pizza. So the pizza was good, but before we had even finished our beers the table was approached 3 times to see if we had paid our check yet! The manager kept peaking around the corner to check...I finally asked the server if we needed to leave...we finally paid not finishing our drinks or pizza. I'm in the industry and know that there was absolutely zero interest in trying to accommodate us and I can honestly say I was shocked. Unfortunately the service ruined how good the pizza was and we will not be back.
