This is my favorite restaurant when I'm in the area. I love that it's a fairly quiet spot just off of I-90. Tyoically when I stop by it's a nice day so we take advantage of their outdoor patio seating. They have an extensive wine offering but unfortunately I am.not well versed in wine so I cannot attest to the quality of the selection but I noticed a couple parties around us ordered some by name when they were seated. Their prices aren't the lowest but they make up for it not only in quantity but also in quality. Let's just say I don't like seafood but their salmon was cooked well and I was able to eat some of that off the significant others dish! Each time I come here I end up getting my fill plus I have lunch for the next day! Also, make sure you have some of their house bread! Another item that keeps me coming back. ..'till next time!

I am upgrading this review 1 star. We visited them recently and thought the Lasagna was great. They ran out of clams and substituted Mussells. I don't like Mussells. The Linguine sauce consisted of mussells juice and Olive Oil with some herbs. It was not creamy. Lasagne was very good. The waiter was polite but not very attentive. They allowed two kids to run around the patio outside where we were seated for the entire dinner. Some people moved. We were close to leaving so did not complain. Had we just arrived we have left. The restaurant shouldn't wait until someone complains or worse just leaves to ask the parents to get control of their kids. It's very rude. I've never seen kids run around a restaurant like that. The stared at another family making them uncomfortable.

Charming, quaint, clean, and fresh. That's how I feel about Brunello's. Interior is cute and the lighting is bright and casual. Great place to go if you're in the area. I love love love their pastas- the cream sauce with smoked salmon always hits the spot for comfort food and their homemade tomatoes sauce is just light enough but rich as well to enjoy their wide array of noodle choices. Their tiramisu is pretty good too but I would recommend not asking for the sweet chocolate sauce glazing on top.

I had a horrible meal at Brunello's on a Friday evening. They sat our party of 3 (with a reservation) at a table for 2 and grabbed silverware, plates and a glass off another table where people were already seated. Gross. The woman at that table had a cough as well. We should have left. The service was slow - it took forever to even be served our wine. The food was atrocious. My ravioli was rubbery and crunchy on the edges and our bruschetta was tasteless and the bread was mushy at the center. I suspect that my son got food poisoning from the pasta and meatballs and I wrote my initial Facebook review from the bathroom floor while I rubbed his stomach as he vomited. I reported this incident to the health department in a timely manner for their investigation.

We ordered delivery. Surprisingly they got our order right despite our special instructions, which included swapping gnocchi for penne. The salad had way too much dressing but the gnocchi we got was really good. One thing that was odd was we listed our room number, and since we weren't there when they knocked, they left our food at the front. The front desk said they would "take care of it" but we ended up calling the restaurant to learn this, then had to ask for our food. Really they should have called us when they knocked at the door and we weren't there.

My husband, myself, three kids, and dog ate here for lunch. The outdoor seating was nice. The lasagna was fantastic. The sausage panini was pretty good. The fettuccine Alfredo was just okay, so was the tortellini Aurora. I didn't like the bruschetta. It was rather bland. The service wasn't especially friendly, but it was timely. I'd likely try this place again.

I am truly surprised at the business owner of the restaurant. So sad that he cannot listen to the facts or the opinions of his customers without reacting like a spoiled teenage boy. Unbelievable that he has replied to my review by "showing me" what my fiance wrote to him after the owner also replied to his review. Maybe there is a contest going on that was not made aware of......Hey, Brunello! The normal response of a proper business owner would be to address the issues/concerns and maybe say "hey, can you give us another try?" Poveretto.

First time visiting Brunellos Italian restaurant last night and had a very pleasant time. I enjoyed my appetizer, the bruschetta was delicious. I had chicken brunello and my kids had Mac and cheese, very good food and served rather quick, very family friendly restaurant I would suggest it to anyone with a family or if your just looking for an excellent place to dine, Go to Brunellos you won't be disappointed

Last night we wanting to try something different so we decided to head into Snoqualmie for some Italian. We had checked the overall reviews on Yelp but not recent ones...we should have. I reserved a table via OpenTable as I usually do when dining out. I informed the gentleman (who was our waiter as well) that I booked with OpenTable and to please check me in. We were showed where to sit, not walked to the area. We picked a nice window seat and then waited for a minute or two before he came over to offer water, after he brought it he was gone for about 5-7 minutes. We noticed during this time that he played the same game with two other couples, though they each got bread served to them. When he came by I asked if we could get bread like everyone else...he seemed annoyed saying it was in the back. If its in the back and just as ready as all of the other baskets, go get it! What was really funny is that each table got minimum 5 pieces...we got 3. Did I want to eat 5, now but that seemed intentional. It took a very long time to get to order appetizers and entrees. The Meatballs we ordered and received were very plain and I think I have had better frozen meal versions. We both were asked how they were, we both said "they were okay". Any good waiter would know that is polite code for they were not good and not worth $10. Thankfully the meals came and both were good initially....My Veal Parmigiana was excellent, however the fettuccine Alfredo was cold, hard on the bottom (had been sitting). We did not chance dessert and sadly will not return. What really annoyed me was after leaving the restaurant I got an email saying "Brunello has cancelled your Open Table rerservation". He never checked me in!! Horrible service is a good way to never get a return customer. I'll be leaving this review on Open Table and Passport.

So I experienced this place about two weeks ago. We all had a rough day and just decided to order takeout. HA. Little did we know that was a BIG mistake. When we called the guy who answered was nice at first. Then we asked questions about the menu. First of all one of the menus isn't even in English so that's why I had a lot of questions for him over the phone. And he was NOT having it. Preceding to say that we were wasting his time and that he needs to help his customers. Well last time I checked we were customers. So I felt as if our needs didn't matter. Finally when we did order and everything he wouldn't place the order because I wouldn't give him a credit card number because I said my mom was coming in to pay it and he got frustrated and hung up. Worst service ever. Food looks awesome, the service not so much. Very unpleased. Wish he would've apologized, shit all I wanted was some chicken parmesan over here and it ended up being world war 3. Hope this review helps. Have a great day! :)

I had to triple check to make sure they were open, as there wasn't another single soul in the restaurant. Oh wait, I take that back, there was me and about 30,000 flies in the restaurant. Everything is a la carte and a la way overpriced. My "Caesar Salad" was brown iceberg lettuce with Kraft dressing (as far as I could tell). I sent the brown salad back immediately. After fighting with the mob of flies to eat my Spaghetti ... it was decent at best. After I got in there I realized I wasn't going to go with anything too fancy at the risk of what I had already experienced. The bread they served had no butter. They did not have mizithra cheese, whether that is authentic or not, I have no idea, but the Old Spaghetti Factory has it and that's where I will be staying next time I want Italian. The service was so bad that I googled how to say "very good" in Italian after noticing my server had a very thick Italian accent - I was going to lie and say it was very good when he asked me how everything was... the problem? He never asked how anything was. He was totally unfriendly and low energy, I even sparked a conversation by saying "are you from Italy?" He was completely uninterested in any chatty conversation which was surprising after learning he was the owner. Not impressed, won't go back. Ciao Brunello!

It is really good Italian food. Everyone that I have taken to the restaurant as a guest has been impressed with the food. There is a reason there is only one Italian restaurant on the Ridge...no one can compete.

Brunello's is not just great because of the absolutely fantastic food, but because of the personal, warm service you receive. I always feel welcome and appreciated. Tony, the owner has worked very hard to give this little italian restaurant the good reputation it has. I recommend the puttanesca, the best I've had anywhere! I always look forward to visiting Brunello's and I've never been disappointed.

We love coming here for lunch. The owner is always there. He is always super friendly and accommodating. I always get the calamari, it's always cooked right and the marinara sauce is the best I've ever had! My mom always gets the beans and bacon house soup. No matter where we travel to she always has to try the soup and she loves this soup; so that is saying a lot. Oh and the restaurant itself is pretty clean.

What a great Italian restaurant. The menu options are pretty extensive. Everything that I have tried has robust flavor and portions are generous. The service was very friendly and attentive. Inside is a little more formal than other restaurants on the Ridge but it's not too formal either. Overall it's a very comfortable and nicely designed eatery. Menu pricing for meals and wine are representative with the quality and service. I will definitely be adding this to one of my favorites.

Seriously what the hell is with the guy at the front counter who runs the phones? So mean! My friend and I called recently to place a pick up order for us and the family, and it was like pulling teeth to get any sort of help from him. It was as if we were asking too much from him by giving him business and placing an order. He had this short, snappy, hostile attitude with us the whole time and then tells us that we are taking up too much time.. Rather than putting us on hold he just hangs up. Sorry we asked what types of salads you offer, shit. Guess that was overwhelming for ya. It was almost comical how BAD he is at talking to people. Mr. GRUMPY. We called back several minutes later, he sighs, rings us in, for 4 dinners it comes to $90 and he basically told us he wouldn't place the order until we came in because he didn't believe we really would.... Huh? Ok. Our friend went in to pick it up and she walked out because he said they hadn't started making the food, and was just as much of a jerk she lost her appetite and didn't want to even bother. I don't get it. The place was empty, we didn't ask for anything outrageous. We asked for food. It's a restaurant. If they don't have the capacity to offer take out, fine, say that. Don't drag us thru the mud until we get tired and give up. Exhausting. Never again. Someone give this dude a hug, he needs it. Sad part is the food looks really really good, I would have liked to try it...

Wonderfully refreshing, healthy and light. Flew in today from east coast and full agenda....by 7 PM we needed something special to eat...and found it here! Family of four shared appetizers of calamari, bruschetta, insalta caprese, beet salad and Ceasars salad. Marvelous! Finished off with chocolate and lemon gelato. Both were remarkable but the lemon was out of this world. Great service and friendly. Felt like we were back in Tuscany !!

We stopped by for an early dinner with our lamb, sauteed vegetables, and risotto. The vegetables were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Returned several months later and tried an entirely different set of entrees. Consistently good. We'll be back.

We had the chance to have dinner here tonight. They accommodated our party of 8 on very short notice. Service was great. Our waitress was helpful and attentive. We ordered 7 dishes and three appetizers and seriously, EVERYTHING was good. We especially liked the bruchetta and the ravioli, but everything was delicious as well. Very enjoyable night, didn't feel rushed at all. If we're in the area again, we will definitely come back.

Updated review... New ownership, management or perhaps chef. Tried it a few times now and not too impressed. A bit greasy and odd flavors. Don't really know what else to say...eh.

Why is there not a ZERO!!! Horrible, I wanted to run out of this place... Not kid friendly, staff is not personable or friendly, food is horrible, & place is too small. We live on Snoqualmie Ridge and it's nice to be able to walk to restaurants so I figured we could try this place for a lunch. With our child in tow in a stroller I opened the front door to find it was dead quiet and the man working in the restaurant just stared at me, like "are you bring that child & stroller in here?" It was awkward so I spoke up and asked if we could bring the stroller in? The place was very small inside, probably about 10 tables. He stood there trying to decide which of the 4 open tables we could sit at rather than letting us choose. Once we ordered, we received our appetizer which was 3 big mozzarella balls, but found they were uncooked in the middle. The waiter said "Let's try this again I suppose" as if he were annoyed I didn't want to eat cold cheese. We waited and waited, as everyone in the restaurant got their lunch and 3 different couples that arrived after us, were all eating their lunch. We finally got our panini sandwiches, which where actually regular sandwiches on a hoagie roll..... It was dry and bland and I couldn't even finish it. They have a huge sign out front advertizing lunch for $7.95 however the cheapest item on their menu was $9.00. I see a recurring ad on Groupon for a special discount here and now i know why. Another couple was headed out the door and could clearly see our disappointment in the establishment, the wife leaned over and said "his wife isn't here today and he doesn't know how to run the restaurant without her". Disappointed and would never go there again or recommend it.

One star because the Bruschetta was good. Where do I start? We had a reservation with a couple we had not seen in two years (since the memorial service for a dear friend). They are good friends and we had a lot to talk about. My companion and I shared a beet salad - lots of beets dumped on top; not nearly enough garnish(nuts and cheese, even though I had asked for more. I had lobster raviolli that was about 1/8 " thick with a tasteless sauce drizzled on top. The whole thing tasteless. My companion ordered Chicken Marsala - dry and tasteless - not good. Two tiny glasses of substandard wine. Thank goodness we did not order a bottle. As I said, we had lots to talk about. About every five minutes the waitress kept coming back. She acted as though she really did not want to, but.......We continued to say that we will call you, if needed. The only time she did not hover was when pepper was needed for three separate dishes...........We were never offered bread - did not even know it existed, however, we saw it on the only other diners' table in the restaurant. Probably the most irritating thing of all was an older woman, in a down vest, who sat at a table across from us and stared at us the whole time. I smiled a couple of times..nothing. The restaurant had not closed, although there was nobody in there except us, but the feeling was that she wanted us out of there. We knew she worked there because she actually got up once and took something off a table. Absolutely NO atmosphere. I have been to Olive Garden one time, but it would have been better than this and better service. We met our friends there because they were at the golf tournament, however, we have been to wonderful authentic Italian restaurants in Redmond, Kirkland, Bellevue, Seattle, and Bellingham. THIS WAS NOT ONE OF THOSE.

Wife and I on a Monday night. Bring a jacket it was cold in there. Server was super nice, food came out fast but it took quite a while to have our plates cleared and even longer to finally get our check. The didn't have any beer, only wine which was $7 per glass and up. Server brought out bread and herbed olive oil. The bread that was brought out was wheat bread rather than their typical white bread. It was good bread, and butter would have better accompanied it, just the wrong type of bread for the olive oil. We each ordered pasta, $17 for pork and beef bolognese. Really bland and I expected much more meat. but I have left overs. $18 for some kind of clam pasta with red sauce. Again the sauce was bland but there was TONS of clams (like 15 still in the open shell) which was really great. The one thing I will say, I have never had homemade noodles before and I am guessing that these were homemade because they were really good. Never thought I judge pasta on the noodle, usually it is the sauce or the stuff inside the sauce.

My family came here a month ago. This place looks regular, but their food are so good. We have been eating many Italian places, but most places have the same taste. But Brunello provides different favors on different dishes. Pasta, sauce, and meat are cooked perfectly. Their services may be a bit slow and not as friendly, but when the food came and tastes so good. That's all matter.

This is a really nice small family restaurant with great Italian food. I have dined here couple times and the food and the service is always great. One of my favorites is the Penne with sausage and Pollo Brunello . They also have some really good weekly special that are always good. Their wine selection is great . They have good selection from fine wines from the NorthWest and Italy.

Best Bolognese sauce in any Italian Restaurant in the Seattle area. Owner Tony is very friendly and always very attentive. Wish they would open another location on the Eastside. I definitely recommend this place if you happen to be in the Snoqualmie area.

I love Brunello Ristorante Italiano!! Tony and crew always take good care of us! And now that they deliver it's even better! I can't always get out of the house (MS) and having the option of Brunello Ristorante Italiano is a nice option over pizza! It's always consistently good Italian food!

A great east side place for getting very, very good Italian food. I have eaten here off and on for four years and the food and wine selection has been consistently very, very good. Personally I enjoy the pastas but last time had a very nice veal entre. I recently took two of my business partners here for their first visit and both have since returned on their own. Looks like Monday's is a good day to go now with a wine promotion now active.

Best Italian food I've had outside of Italy, hands down! My husband and I have been here three times since moving to Snoqualmie, and we've never been disappointed. The starter bread is amazing, and we've always been waited on by the owner, who is extremely down to earth and casual, but friendly and helpful with menu and wine selections. My husband has searched the region far and wide for the perfect spaghetti carbonara, and he says he's found it at Brunello. I have become completely addicted to the lobster ravioli and it's pretty much all I order (but I'm always sure to take a sample from my fellow diner's dishes!) The pasta is always cooked perfectly al dente, which we love. And the one time I had dessert I was dreaming about it for days afterward (try the La Bomba!) The prices are a little higher than what we'd normally pay, but to us this splurge is worth it. We'll probably always take friends and family here when they are in town. Love Brunello!!

Food is great, service is good. The best lasagna around, highly recommend. The reason for 4 stars is the ambiance is lacking, no music, no booths.m you feel like you can hear everyone's conversation.

I have been to Brunello Ristorante several times and never once have I been disappointed. The food is great. Everything I have tried on the menu has been fabulous. The staff is courteous, friendly and accommodating since we usually dine with our three small children. We often use Groupon or Living Social vouchers and have never been treated differently. I would recommend Brunello for a variety of occasions, we have done both the mid-week dinner with our kids as well as the weekend dinner date and even special occasion where Tony served up an Italian feast family style for our party of 20.

It was fine. We aren't huge Italian food fans, but we saw there was a deal on Yelp! for $20 for $10 so we decided to give it a try. My husband enjoyed the Spaghetti Carbonara. We had our toddler with us, which I wouldn't recommend. Even though we always clean up after him if he drops anything, it's the type of place that makes me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed every time a piece of bread hits the floor. While we didn't dislike it, we probably wont return.

We had dinner here on a warm Saturday evening in May... thank you Mother Nature! It was our first time and it definitely won't be our last. Upon arriving, the waiter asked if we'd prefer patio seating or indoor seating; which I also noticed was offered to every other customer that arrived. We chose the patio. We've never really been in the Snoqualmie Ridge town center so it was a nice treat to take in the fresh air and people watch. I can't attest to the interior of the restaurant, but the patio had approximately 8-2 person tables that can be easily put together for larger groups. The service was nice (we interacted with two different employees) and the ambiance was good. It's definitely a cute little date spot! The food was hearty and delicious! We ordered the penne con salsicce e peperoni and the salmone della casa. I could barely finish my salmon, but made it a goal to since salmon doesn't usually make for good leftovers. We did take about half the pasta home though. It is on the pricier side, but the flavor of the food and the portion size really do make up for it. We also got a fill of their house-made bread... so good! They also have an extensive wine menu. The tiramisu looked really good, but we were super stuffed. We will definitely be back to try their lunch specials and dessert.

A Laz Carbona Chilean sea bass Nice/large portion After living just down the street for a few months we have finally decided to give Brunello's a try and were pleasantly surprised. The portions were a nice size - a bit on the large size but that is okay with us because we love having leftovers for lunch the next day. I got the Lasagna which was wonderful. My mother in law had the Chilean Sea Bass and loved it and my wife had the Carbora which was made in the classical style and very rich and flavorful. For this dish the size was large and because it was so rich it may tend to overwhelm you. The décor is nice and clean with that Italian touch but not overpowering. The dining room is a bit small. When we were there were two large parties that took up most of the dining room and several people had to be turned away because there was no where for them to sit. Get here early or make a reservation is my recommendation. We will be coming back though this place was on the pricy side.

Really I'm smack on the fence with this one, but I'll round up. Support your local business and all! We bought the groupon here right after moving to the area, and finally went to use it last night. I think saving the $17 with that helped put the dinner in the "good" category. Bruschetta: not my favorite thing in general, so I won't speak to this one Carbonara: really garlicky and heavy. Lasagna: quite tasty. Decent red sauce, good meat and ricotta filling, tender noodles I feel like if I wasn't a decent home cook who tends to make a lot of Italian, I'd be open to this being a good place to go for pasta. But - I know I can make everything we had, and closer to the way we enjoy it for a heck of a lot less $$.

I'm not sure if my sub-par experience was because the restaurant had an "off night", but our dinner went downhill the second I let the owner know that we would be using a deal coupon. Food: You cannot hide stale food no matter how good the sauces or seasonings are. The sauteed vegetables were beautifully presented but not fresh. The potatoes that came on the side of each dish were well seasoned but drowning in red chili oil (?!?!) and ended up being soggy. The salmon was overcooked. The veal piccata was overcooked and tough. The rack of lamb was stale and came out well done even though we ordered medium rare. The penne pasta was tasty but drowning in a bath of creamy pesto. The panna cotta was a melting gelatinous mess. I will give them props for the clams and tiramisu, which were both well seasoned, beautifully presented and FRESH. Service: I had to ask for my water to be refilled several times because the server kept forgetting that I had asked. The server also did not bring any bread out and we had to ask for it ourselves. When the bread did come out, it was stale. The server asked how the rack of lamb was, to which I replied "it wasn't my favorite but that's okay", and he launched into this tirade of "everyone's taste is different, etc. etc" Yes, I know that, but you asked me what I thought of it, so I gave you my opinion. When I asked the server to "help me understand" my final bill, he was very condescending and said that I "should read the fine print on the deal coupon beforehand". At this point, I already knew I would not be returning and didn't want to waste further time or energy on this disastrous dinner, so I smiled and said my thanks. Brunello Ristorante has had lots of good reviews from happy customers, so perhaps this was an off night for them; however, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

If you want to have an authentic Italian meal in a warm cozy atmosphere then Brunello's is the place. We are very fortunate to have this great restaurant on the eastside to enjoy dinner without having to go to Bellevue or downtown Seattle. Tony and his staff are always gracious which makes your evening out very pleasurable. Make sure you try Brunello's gnocchi and lasagna....very delicious!

I've been here a few times, and while the food is great and reasonably priced, the servers and management always comes off as really socially awkward. The service is fine (fast, polite, etc) but my boyfriend and I always get a good laugh about how awkward the wait staff is.

Just pointing out that my negative review for bad food and horrible service from a few months ago was removed from yelp. Who removes them? The negative review was deserved, I used no profanity just a straight up honest review. Does the owner have the ability to remove it? It is a bit telling though.......

Amazing wine list AND delicious food. Always something new to try! Good vibe/cool seating. The wait staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. Pollo Ala Brunello was to die for! We also got some complimentary drinks at the end, not sure what they were, but man it really made my night.!!! I would defiantly recommend this place to any one who wants traditional home cooked Italian food with an extensive list of wines. Hands down Best Italian FOOD I have ever had.

We arrived on time for our 7:30 reservation. Ahead of us was another couple who walked in. They were given the more private and better table, while we were seated at a table squeezed between a major aisle and so close to adjoining 4 top we could have easily entered the conversation. Off to a bad start. The ambience of this place is strange. High ceilings, eggplant walls, soft lighting, dark tabletops - exquisite. But then there is one of the tiniest bars with stools that no one could sit at because there simply is no room and there is also no bartender. There is, however, a large flat screen TV tuned to the Food Network. We watched sausage making - lovely. Nice assortment of reasonably priced wines by the glass. The mixed green salad was cold and overly dressed with an excessive amount of balsamic vinegar. Bread was served thinly sliced and dry with no butter or olive oil. Our appetizer of calamari in spicy tomato sauce arrived with our entrees. It was revolting. The squid was overly cooked to the point of nearly being crunchy, the sauce tasted like a mixture of ketchup and hot sauce, and the seafood did not taste fresh and smelled bad. For the price, I'd expect more than three spoonfuls of calamari in a bowl of tomato soup. We looked, took a bite, and sent it back - and we were not charged for it. Entrees were rack of lamb, sauteed vegetables, and risotto. The vegetables were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The lamb was served rare, though ordered medium rare, and was moist, meaty, and perfectly seasoned. Unfortunately though, it was overly sauced and placed on top of the risotto so that also was sauced. The sauce was too heavy on the the Dijon mustard and too rich to be served with the cheesy tasty risotto, which was too liquidy. Nonna's Lemon Torte was good, though overly sweet, and drenched in powdered sugar instead of dusted. Lambrusco on ice was served complimentary. $80 for this did seem a tad high, but the service was friendly and attentive. Still, I will not return and cannot recommend this place.

Great service and great food. We have been there a number of times and have always been treated very well. Every meal has been very good. All the meals are very large portions which means great left overs the next day. Today my daughter let her balloon go and it went up to a very high ceiling. We could not reach it. The staff found a ladder and climbed up and then used a long grabber to reach the balloon string. This made a very happy 6 1/2 year old's day. Thank you guys for going above and beyond the call of duty. We will be back and we will hang on to any balloons next time. Thank you.

I had the cheese ravioli for lunch today. It was hot, fresh, and tasty. The restaurant was clean and quiet (no loud music is always a plus with me). I was greeted promptly and the service was quick and professional.

Great romantic dinner with an authentic Italian feel. FIrst of all - the bread was probably the best bread I've ever had. It was dense & buttery with a delicious olive oil, balsamic, and herb dip. My husband ordered the clam linguine and it was delicious. I had the pasta with sausage & red flakes and it was so good, best pasta of my life - and I've been to Italy and love pasta! Highly recommend! We used a Groupon so it made it affordable for us, but I'd love to go back!

We went last night, a Tuesday and arrived about 6:00. While we were able to get a table at that time, a little later, the place got totally filled up. It's small and popular. I was skeptical how good a place this could be in Snoqualmie suburbia personified but reading the reviews, I saw the majority were good. I tend to not bother with bad reviews unless they are the majority as they are usually one-off situations or people who aren't very knowledgeable about their food. Repeatedly I saw kudos for lobster ravioli so I had to have that and praise for the Caesars so we started with those. The Caesar salad is excellent, so extremely crisp with lots of Parmesan although we didn't detect any anchovy. The main server who took the orders was kept extremely busy but he never once dropped the ball (waters always refilled and wine refills gotten plus he was helpful and always polite). I took his recommendations on the wine as I don't have familiarity with Italian wines and like to try new ones, so got a nice white (a combination of Chardonnay and Garengara which was something new for me) that was a good pour in nice stemware and went well with the Caesar or just sipping alone. For dinner he recommended a Sangiovese and it went well with the lobster ravioli in saffron cream sauce. We wanted to go the distance to dessert so we didn't have any appetizer. My husband ordered the special which was handmade pappardelle with seafood in a cream sauce. This was outstanding and the seafood was ample (clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops!) delicately cooked with the delicious springy pasta. I always like to try fresh pasta. We were able to save some leftovers and then went on to the Tiramisu and Cannoli for dessert. These are big portions! Both were delicious although I believe my sister's Tiramisu is better with more flavor of Espresso. My husband really liked the Cannoli and how crunchy the cones were. Overall I don't understand why some reviews have mentioned them as pricey. Their prices are in line with the quality and not even as expensive as what you would get in Seattle. We eat out a lot and are pretty up on the better restaurants' pricing. Plus we love Italian food and really, this is some of the best I've eaten. I'm doing a 5 star review on all points for service, food, atmosphere for this restaurant and we will be back. We did not once get any kind of attitude even though we had a Groupon but we definitely don't try to "cheap" out. We like to try a lot of different things and I like to sample the different wines.

Clam appetizer - yum! I honestly can't remember what pasta we ordered, I know it had a pink sauce and that we were licking the plate. The service was amazing, friendly waiter who was informative, had a sense of humor and interacted with all his tables.

Five stars for their beet salad. My favorite beet salad in the whole wild world! If you love beets, you must try this! It has a balsamic reduction, nuts, gargonzola cheese. Oh man. I'd go here just for that beet salad.

My wife and I came in at about 5pm on Mothers Day because we noticed the Restaurant was only half full and only one table was occupied for outdoor seating. We were told that if we didn't have reservations that we couldn't be seated until at least 7:30pm. It was also said to us with an attitude like "you're not good enough for this establishment" We then went to a different local restaurant and had dinner. When we drove by Brunello again at 6:15pm there was even less customers. The owner, Tony Brunello, emailed me and felt that I was wrong in my assessment of the establishment. After several emails back and forth over the next few days, it became apparent to me that he portrays a snobbish bad attitude towards customers (or potential customers) that are critical of his establishment. At one email back to me, he stated that he's tired of customers that think they know everything about the restaurant business and to stay out of his business. My final email back to him told him that I'm not an expert at running a restaurant business but I do know how to handle customers complaints and remarks. Regardless if the food is good or not, I won't do business with an establishment that doesn't treat customers right. Therefore, I can't recommend this establishment to anybody. A common complaint on the yelp reviews for Brunello is the attitude problem.

Good italian? Snowqualmie? what? seriously?? yes, it's all true. and yes, i am a city snob indeed... we were in the region with the in-laws all the way from france. Had the calamari. Yummers.... lobster ravioli and chicken marsala were both excellent and all the other dishes on the table were morish. servers are a bit.... i dunno... can't place my finger on it... its' not that they don't do a reasonable job... it just feels like they're doing you a favour by serving you.. like you're keeping them from drinking more wine in the back. which is understandable i guess, but try a bit harder to pretend you want to serve us. anyway, good meal nonetheless.

Warning whoever is going to use Groupon with this restaurant.I wish I read all comments before I went there. We came on slow Wednesday night which was just few tables. However never have water refilled , food was okay but the service was poor. We were happy with food but really turn off after the rude service. Everything seemed fine until we paid and I said we had groupon, the server ( I guess the owner) suddenly talked rudely said if we wanted to use groupon we need to call and make reservation. He said it's required! ( even slow Wednesday night and almost empty). Then he ignored us ,didn't change the bill or anything but he did redeem groupon on my phone (and walked away) so I paid the rest plus tips. He came back and grabbed the money with 2 fingers asking if we need change we said " no you can keep it" he seemed surprise and said " very good". All he cares just about money so I read all reviews and found not only me experienced this with using groupon. He just want people buy it but not use it if you using it you will probably have unpleasant by their rudeness. Sadly because we live so close and thought we would come back but after his rudeness we agreed we won't and not recommend to anyone.

Came here, enticed by all the seemingly good reviews. But, I don't know, maybe I'm not in on the joke but this place didn't impress me at all. The quality of food was "flat" at best; the tomato sauce on my linguine tasted like something out of a jar, the pasta almost mushy not al dente at all! The bread was so not Italian; it was like school lunchroom bread with too much butter! Overall, no craft or passion put in to the quality of the food. The service was equally disappointing. It was adequate but un-enthusiastic, no pleasantries, no smiles, just a guy doing his job. He wasn't even dressed like a waiter--first time I've seen a waiter wearing a down vest like he's ready to go hunting than serve customers. Bottom line, I can't recommend this place and am not going back especially given it's way out in Snoqualmie.

We've been looking for a venue to host a small party and this restaurant came highly recommended, The place is trendy and upscale. The waiter/greeter was congenial and helpful and we were given our choice of seats -- even though the section we wanted to sit in was technically closed. The service was great and the prices aren't that bad. However, I'm sorry to say I was a little disappointed in the some of the food. First, I wanted to taste their soup of the day, which was lentil. I ordered a cup because I didn't want to fill up before the main course. We were told they served the soup in bowl-size only. I ordered it and a spoon for my husband who agreed to help eat it. Unfortunately, the soup was way too thick and congealed for my liking. There was a strange bitter aftertaste which I couldn't identify, especially since it was bland tasting at first. As for the chicken marsala -- the vegetables were cooked perfectly (el dente), but the chicken was dry and the marsala sauce was, again, bland. We decided to forgo desert, although I'm not sure whether it was because I had too much soup before the meal, or that I didn't want to experiment any further. Needless to say, we're not going to host our party there. Too bad. I loved the ambiance and the waiter.

Food is always great and they offer interesting specials. Friday night my wife had a portabello and sausage ravioli in tomato pesto - the small taste I got was great and she loved it. Service is always good and they will adjust any dish to your liking - they will even prepare you dishes not on the menu. Wine list ranges wide in Italian varietals and blends and prices range accordingly - and corkage is available.

My wife and I went there for a quick date night. The staff was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is great. The menu appears to be traditional Italian fare. We ordered salads, an appetizer, and several glasses of wine. All of which were really good. We got a glass of desert wine for free. My low rating is because the manager would not let us use a groupon. We presented it to the server at the beginning of the meal and spent a lot more than the minimum required for use. The manager told us that both of us would have to order entrees in order to use the groupon. This was not in the language of the groupon, we checked carefully. This was not told to us when we presented the groupon to the server, either. We didn't really argue with the guy. Just wanted to warn others who might try to use a groupon or similar deal there, ask up front as this place seems to make its own rules.

It was a beautiful, sunshiny Spring day and we stopped in for some Italian food. As we approached, the first thing I noticed were the exceedingly dirty windows. Sunshine was not their friend! The menu was diverse and the food was tasty, but not particularly special. One thing I was looking forward to was some good Italian bread with dinner and to our surprise we were given a basket of uninteresting, ordinary, white sliced bread!

We came here for our anniversary and had a great meal. We had the steak and the lamb. Both seemed to come with the same creamy wine sauce. Both entrees were very good. The mustard crusted lamb was served with risotto. I was going to substitute it with the mashed potatoes but I'm glad I didn't. The rice was creamy, buttery and very delicious -- it was one of the best risottos I have ever had! The service was good and the atmosphere was nice and non-fussy. If ever in the area again, we will likely return.

This was our second time to eat at Brunello's. It wasn't as good as the first time. The polenta on both our dishes was cool. But over all the food was nice. The service was mediocre at best. However they did have a new server who spoke very little English (she was Italian). But we liked that. She just wasn't very attentive. We would probably still go back.

Fantastic,Rustic, Italian food. Being a pure bread Italian there are things you look for when eating at an Italian place, the bread is #1. The bread had a crunchy crust, and had the perfect amount of salt and taste. Great for dunking. It set up for the rest of the meal to be successful. My wife had the gnocchi which had a creamy red sauce, and my grilled rack of lamb had amazing red sauce. Loved it! Plus, for dessert, the owner made us 2 special cannolis. Loved it! finally a good restaurant in Snoqualmie, WA

My husband and received a coupon in the mail for this restaurant, and even though we don't live in the area, we were attracted to the name and decided to make the trip to Snoqualmie. We were not disappointed! Absolutely fabulous in every area. Great wine, delicious and authentic cuisine, and outstanding service. The atmosphere was also very inviting and elegant. The seats were even extremely comfortable. No matter where you live, Brunello is worth the trip!

Our Dave place to celebrate ... Anything, live in North Bend, so nice close. The roasted artichoke appetizer..order every time. Garlicky, tasty and the aioli is really flavorful. Either get the "perfect tender, smoky baby back... 1/2 rack is always enough for me. Cole slaw side homemade goodness. The steaks are always great..prime rib.. Old fashion slow roasted! Partner orders filet tips appetizer and looks forward to them.. This time the tips were fatty, grisly and generally tough. Told waiter and he took off bill, but didn't ask to replace them? The dirty martinis always done well. This time they brought them "clean". Waiter brought olive juice when asked. Will continue to go. Good job Peter!

Although the food here was good, it was not so good that it made up for the bad service. When we arrived, every table except 2 were empty and the waiter asked if we had a reservation. I said no, and we were then promptly seated. If seating us was not a problem, then why ask if we had a reservation? When we left, there were still empty tables. There was a younger waiter and a middle-aged waiter (maybe an owner or manager?) sharing duties, and neither was particularly helpful or friendly. When my husband indicated that he was deciding between two wines, the waiter sighed in irritation and did not offer any suggestions, as I would have expected. When our salads arrived (decent, but too much dressing), I commented to my husband that this was the first Italian restaurant I had ever been to that did not serve bread. 10 minutes later we saw another table get a plate of bread. Do you have to ask for bread to get it? That would have been nice to know. Our meals were good and the tiramisu was very good. However, the waiters continued to seem disinterested the entire time. When our bill arrived, I pulled out my phone because I had a groupon for the restaurant. The waiter got annoyed when he saw it and said in an irritated tone, "okay, the next time you use one of these, could you show it before you order." I responded that it was the only one I had, and he said, "yeah, I know that." Huh? I really don't see what difference it makes whether you knew I had a groupon before I ordered or not. Do I get a smaller menu if I use a groupon? Worse service? (Not sure that's possible.) We had been planning to try this restaurant for a while since we live in the area, and the groupon was just an added bonus. Groupon or not, I don't think we'll be returning here. The food was good, but I can get Italian food just as good elsewhere and with better service.

First time eating there tonight (wife and I). Carpaccio appetizer was definitely the highlight of our meal, high quality beef not overdressed. I had the veal picatta and my wife had the gnochi-both were ok, nothing wrong, just not anything I would get again. Ambiance was also just OK. No booths, just tables. Also, TV was on in the corner, really weird in an "upscale" Italian restaurant. Probably other places I would try first if I'm in the neighborhood for dinner again.

From the rave reviews, I was eager to try this place out. We had a nice dinner tonight with pretty good food. Unfortunately, I docked a couple of stars down by the service we had. There were three larger parties that came in after us (there were only two of us). Their food was served and here we were, who already ordered, still waiting. One by one, I observed these parties getting the service my party should have received. When our waters got refilled, our server (also the co-owner, Tony) told us that my plate was still being cooked.. I just ordered spaghetti. After 30 minutes of waiting and salivating over the other parties dishes, I disagree with the other yelp reviews on how fantastic the service was.

Excellent food. I've been here twice now and loved it. I've eaten the wild mushroom gnocchi, which was fantastic, and their lobster ravioli which was likewise great. Highly recommend this place for a romantic time out. Unfortunately both times I went the restaurant was nearly empty, so spreading the word to keep it around for a long time!

Wonderful meal, the Bruschetta was an excellent starter and the Butternut Squash ravioli was delicious! Service was great, very friendly! Nice way to celebrate my Mom's retirement!

Thank you.

Now that's Italian. Yeah, don't be caught up in the fact that it is in Snoqualmie. The food was great.

Been back a few times. Owners can act a bit put off if you use a groupon or livingsocial coupon, yet they sell them nearly weekly. Like they want you to buy them, but not use them. Consistently good food, but not a bargain.

My wife and I ate for the first time at Brunello Ristorante Italiano last Saturday night. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and the service when we arrived. The waiter that we had was very helpful and the food was excellent. We will definitely be going back!

Best Italian food in the Seattle area! Very authentic; reminded us of the wonderful local places we tried on our trip last year to Rome, Tuscany & Umbria. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, good service & a great wine recommendation - didn't try to gouge us with an expensive bottle; just helped us find what we were looking for. We recommend the calamari, lobster ravioli, the rolled beef special (stuff with peppers, Trinity & cheeses) and the tiramisu. All excellent. Yes, prices are a bit higher than your local pizzeria. but this is no pizzaria! It's gourmet Italian food at a fair price. We'll be back!

A small little Italian place located in a little strip mall in Snoqualmie. The mini-mall was dead, but this place had a full house. The pesto penne was creamy and delicious - recommended. Portion sizes were good, not small, but not large. Our neighbors found mold on their bread, but ours was fine. I might go back for an occasional romantic dinner, but a bit spendy for regular visits.

I love this place. Loved it before I even ordered anything due to the ambiance, Sinatra, and the owner greeting us at the door. The food is bellisimo (almost the extent of my Italian linguistics.) I've had two pasta dishes and bites of two more, all delicious, awesome Caesar salad (share it, it's big,) pizza, and the tirimisu. Wine: his house Cab was excellent. From his family's vineyard in Italy. Also, they make anything you want the way you want it (dishes with a red sauce with white instead, etc.) Besides the food, the service is attentive, and extremely warm. I can't wait to go back!

I really liked this place. It was great to go to a locally owned restaurant (not a chain). It is also family owned and operated. The food was AMAZING! To top it off there was live opera singing. Show me another Italian restaurant that can dish that up!

My Wife and I have been driving through Snoqualamie from Seatle to Yakima for the past 6 years and found this place last week. A far cry from when the town only had a gas station and a pizza place. The food was fantastic. Absolutely top notch. It will definately be a place to keep hitting on our way through.

Great food! I am from NY and have the occasional craving for something I miss. This time it was a Veal Parmigiana sandwich. They don't have it on the menu, but made it anyway. And it was delightful! Ahh, just what I needed, a taste of home right here in Snoqualmie Ridge.

Excellent Italian food surpassed only by the attentive service. The linguine with vodka sauce was outstanding. A great place to have a glass of wine and a nice bowl of pasta. The owner even comped us a glass of sparkling wine and a small sundae for my daughter. A great experience.

The food was excellant to be sure. The partner/server is a bit crude in nature, and I would say that regardless of this next. He came to us and asked about what kind of wine we wanted. We didn't want any. He asked why. This proceded into an uncomfortable discussion where he couldn't seem to accept or understand our not wanting any? And it proceded into a fuss abouit religion with his pretty much belittling our religion. Hey, turkey, we are the customer, accept our decision and preferences, you have your own, do not push them on us. I will not be back. This experience with the server destroyed what would have been good otherwise.

Food was very good. The ambiance was pretty low key, but I loved how nice and quiet and small it was. We had the calamari (great), cesar salad (underwhelmed), lobster ravioli (great), spaghetti vongole (good), and cannoli (good).

My honey and I had dinner there for the first time on Valentine's Day. It was an extremely pleasant experience, GREAT food and I had an inexpensive cabernet that was very good. Service was excellent and very fast, especially considering it was pretty packed. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

If you didn't live in the neighborhood you would never find this place. This is one time a Groupon paid off. We had a Groupon to dine here so we drove out on a Sunday evening. There is probably no other reason to go out to this little town so it was such a surprise to find this Gem. Small restaurant but on a Sunday evening there were perhaps 6 tables full. Everything we ate was wonderful. Wine prices weren't bad. Did I say the food was good? ;-) Good and nice size portions. We had a party of three and all three guests gave it 2 thumbs up. Service was a little different as the waiter was just filling in and new at it but what would you rather have, good food and okay service or great service and okay food? The waiter was giving it 100% so I am not taking any points away on account of him. Go find this place. The Groupon got us in and now we can't wait to go back. I would recommend this place for any day but Friday and Saturday. I hear they get quite busy on the weekend so go pick any other day and get great personal service and have your food come from the kitchen perfect as the chef isn't swamped with 50 customers. It was a great Sunday evening meal.

Looking for a place to please ourselves and the in-laws in Snoqualmie...the Yelp reviews led us to Brunello's, and we're glad they did!! Food, ambience, and service were all TOP-notch. Our table was ready for us when we arrived - no waiting. Our server was extremely helpful and the water glasses were always kept full (a pet peeve when it's NOT done). In-laws ordered cioppino, and my husband and I both had pasta - servings were plentiful and tasty. If you are in the area, definitely give this place a try.

My sister and I had an early dinner at Brunellos Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was absoutely fabulous and the staff was wonderful. I was visiting from Colorado and will definately make a point to return to Brunellos before going home.

My boyfriend and I originally went here because we had a groupon. The food is pretty top notch - the bread was a nice touch in the beginning. I ordered the lobster ravioli - I thought the noodle was delicious and the ravioli was stuffed appropriately, but the mound of cream sauce on my plate really seemed to overpower the ravioli and I ended up creating a lake of sauce my plate to navigate to the raviolis. My boyfriend got the lasagna and said it was very good. We ordered the Cesar salad as a starter and asked for the dressing on the side and came with the dressing on top - it was very good though. My biggest downside was that the waitress was a total space cadet. I don't know if she was drunk or high or what but we didn't complain about the dressing being on the salad just so she wouldn't come back to our table - that bad. Otherwise my review would be higher. Overall, the food was good though and based on that alone I would consider going back again if the service wasn't so shamefully terrible.

Wonderful atmosphere... Great service and the food was, quite frankly, the best Italian since we moved here from NYC. Yes, it is outside the normal distance we would look to drive, but we did not need to spend 10 minutes finding parking so it worked out the same as hitting Seattle... Best cannoli this side of little Italy... Try it out.

Great neighborhood Italian restaurant. The cuisine, wine selection, service, and atmosphere - are usually spot-on. The staff (particularly the owners) are very aware of their clientele, and usually go out of their way to greet you very warmly. However, my wife and I have noticed if the owners (who are great!) aren't working; some of the above tends to slip. Generally, Brunello's is a hit!

Our two sons and I walked to this restaurant from home, along with our dog to enjoy a rare, sunny, almost warm day. We ate dinner outside and it was great. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, olive oil and garlic pasta with chicken, and spaghetti con vongole. The portions were huge! The ingredients were fantastic. And of course it all tasted great. The owners were on hand and the customer service was both memory and impeccable.

We dined at Brunello's last night for the first time and it was amazing. The food was excellent and quick. I thought the prices were decent especially for the food and service. Very impressed. Look forward to dining there again soon.

The experience was going well and my husband and I enjoyed our food and wine but when I presented my Groupon after the meal and not at the beginning, our waiter (and I think the owner) said I was supposed to give it to him in the beginning and that I should call Groupon for a refund. I looked at him like I thought he was kidding and crazy and he walked away. When he came back, he accepted the Groupon but then said he had a business to look out for and walked away to run my card. Does that mean we would've had different service or food portions??? He said this loud enough for about 3 tables around us to hear what was going on. My hubby and I don't get out often alone having a 2 yr old and it made a nice evening turn uncomfortable and left a sour taste=( We ate out last night and I'm still a little upset the next morning about our night being ruined by one person. I'm in customer service and our business accepts our Groupon without discrimination. Not sure why that happened. Oh well, we'll need to find a different Italian Restaurant.

We had such a nice dinner at Brunello this evening. We had been there 3 other times, but this was the most fun. Their food has been consistenly good each time. We've tried their salads, pastas, entrees, wines and desserts. I really love the mushroom linguini. The thing that made tonight the best, though, was talking to their mother who moved here from Italy and explained how her mother taught her to cook when she was a young girl. The recipes are hers. Their mother sang a beautiful song to someone who was celebrating a birthday in the restaurant. It was a lovely evening. We'll be back more often.

The food was very good. We will definitely come back. We used to come to the same location when it was a different Italian restaurant and always wondered why it was always empty. We thought the food then was very good as well. The only complaint would be the chairs. The cushions in the chairs we sat in were completely worn out.

An Italian dining experience worth a drive East (yes East) from Bellevue or Seattle. We tried this place last summer based on a tip from friends who live on Snoqualmie Ridge and have been back 5 or 6 times since. A small, family-run restaurant, with an incredibly attentive and friendly staff, Brunello's offers a good selection of choices for each course and if you don't see what you crave on the menu, just ask and they will likely prepare it for you. Fernando, the owner (whom you will likely meet as you walk in, during or at the tail end of your meal) is the quintessential host and an excellent sommelier. You'll find a great selection of fairly-priced Italian wines, though we have most enjoyed whatever the featured wine special happens to be - usually a tremendous value for a wine that Fernando himself imports and we otherwise would never have stumbled upon. Servings are quite substantial - great for leftovers. Appropriate for date night, though not if you're looking for a quiet, intimate place to hear each others thoughts as the small space and lively atmosphere may not be what you're after. We've been here with kids, extended family and other couples and the lively, friendly atmosphere has been perfect every time. Make reservations on the weekend.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
