This Subway location is really out of the way. Located down a flight of stairs either from the sidewalk or from the Safeway parking lot, I felt like I was going into someone's basement to order a sandwich. The first time I came in, my BFF and I were helped by a lady that either didn't want to be there or didn't like us. She was also hard of hearing as we had to keep repeating what we wanted. The bread hadn't been baked that day either. The second time I was here, I came with a friend the day before Thanksgiving at 6 pm and they were closed. No sign on the door or anything. Food: 3 Service: 2 Parking: 2 Ambiance: 3

This place has management issues. I was inspired to try their super corny named "Mediterranean Collection" by a commercial so went in to try it out. The employee was sweet and helpful. They had signs up everywhere advertising it so I ordered a Chicken Mediterranean or something. After both my and my buddy's sandwiches were made I asked for the feta cheese they advertise.I was told that it had not come in yet and I would have to come back tomorrow if I wanted it. Then it took the employee forever to ring me up, and she explained that these items had not yet been programmed into the computer system and she had to work out how to charge me for them. Who the heck is in charge of this place? As I stated, the sandwich technician was a great employee, it is the management's ability that seems to be lacking. The sandwiches were not that great.

I am usually a Subway fan. But this one in my new neighborhood doesn't quite live up to my expectations. Pay attention or you may not get what you wanted. Tonight I was talking to another patron and got only lettuce when I had asked for "lettuce, tomato and onions." Subway is promoting avocado right now (in all the TV ads), but I have had the turkey-bacon-avocado sandwich three times, and they are extremely stingy with the avocado (the spread doesn't cover the bread). There is a language problem here. I don't care what language people speak, but I do think you need to speak well enough to handle orders, and I have found that to be a problem with the main worker. Not a good place to eat in - three stools at a counter by the window and one booth. Store is very small.

Subway, so many of them, yet always a different experience. I'm not sure if this is the way a chain wants to be represented, but oh well. The staff here is generally pretty nice. You may ask why the low rating? It seems like it closes much earlier than other Subway's I've been to. I think they close at 9 which makes it pretty inconvenient when I want a somewhat late dinner. Also I've noticed that sometimes they'll toast my sandwich after putting on the veggies which is not something a "Sandwich Artist" would normally do.

when i was looking to buy a home i often visited my real estate agent's office which was upstairs. because of my rediculously busy schedule i needed a quick lunch. this particular subway never let me down. almost every time i went the asian lady with the thick accent helped me out. just the right amount of veggies and EXTRA red onions, just the way i like it! if you ever go there, ask for the veggie delite with italian herbs and cheese bread, everything on it (extra red onions of course) and both chipotle and honey dijon sauces. trust me, it's bomb. now that i don't see my agent anymore i never get to go back here. never fear though, subway! i shall return.
