So help me, every time I complain about the dearth of options on north broadway (cap hill), I'll remember the painful crawl that is The Ave. The thing about The Ave is that food offerings are the *ultimate* gamble. What seems safe and boring becomes that place where the cook didn't wash his hands in the restroom (University Teriyaki), and no matter where you go there's a 50/50 chance that the service, food, or atmosphere will make you swear to never set foot inside again. But I digress (obvs). I've decided that eating on The Ave is my punishment for not planning my meals for the week. Luckily, asking my coworkers for recommendations has proved to be a shortcut that dulls the pain, and Sarducci's is pretty solid. My parameters were distance based (closer to 40th than 45th), and though I'm not a big sandwich buff I wasn't disappointed. The half sub combo (with small chips and a drink) was just over $8, and the tip about the bread was 100% correct. Soft without getting goopy or soggy with filling *and* the comfort kind of delicious. The bacon in my sandwich (TBR: Turkey, Bacon, Ranch) was crisp but not burnt, the veggies were fresh and tasty, and the sandwich wasn't drowning in ranch dressing. So yeah, I would definitely swing by here again if I'm too lazy to march up to Thanh Vi for a vietnamese sandwich and grab a Slurpee at 7-11. If you have a 30min lunch, the service is fast enough to get you in and out - just be sure to ignore people waiting for To-Go orders and march right up to the register. p.s. They use LevelUp app - if you're into that kind of mobile payment thing.

It's a sandwich shop in the middle of the Ave....nothing spectacular, but it wasn't horrible either. I met up with a friend here and ordered a classic in the 6 inch and it was a bout $5. Honestly, this place tastes almost the same as Subway. Come here for a quick bite to eat! Pros: - Nice place to sit with friends and talk - Very clean atmosphere Cons: - Took forever to get my sandwich....even tho me and my friend ordered the same thing.....mine came out like 5 minutes later! Why I gave it a 3..... I would prefer Subway's $5 footlong BMT....I get more bang for my buck! It's not a bad place, just another typical sandwich place so don't expect anything to be super spectacular! Maybe's it's cuz I ordered the wrong thing, but I did try their signature sandwich....

The worst sandwich I've ever eaten. I ordered the chicken club and added olives. I took it to go so heated it up for 20 seconds at home. The bread was soggy which is understandable because they used a "ranch sauce". No flavor whatsoever. What was even worse was the chicken. It tasted like vegetarian chicken. So gross!

They make pretty good crepes here! How can you not? Everything is pre-made, you can't screw up a crepe. Never wanted to try their sandwiches; I get full just looking at the plastic display of all of their choices of sandwiches. They never seem busy, so I can't knock them on service. I get my crepe pretty fast considering, and they don't taste bad. My only gripe about this place is that they overcharge for ONE crepe wrapping one whole strawberry, a couple of teaspoons of Nutella, and a shit ton of whipped cream. You can easily spend over $10 for two people, and this is ridiculous to me for a pancake. It is also very likely that the last 6-7 bites of your crepe will be pure whipped cream. Just a cheap-o filling to make it seem like you're getting a good bang for the buck. Overall, it's a waste of money and you can find better crepes at Crepe Cravers on the other end of the Ave.

Love the pizza sub! And prices are good

A well established business for something that just opened not too long ago. The subs here look pretty good, but I've only tried a single fruit and yogurt crepe. It was quite excellent to be honest, and I love the size that it's made in! They really don't skimp out on anything. The only downside would probably have to be the wait time. Doesn't seem like the type of joint you could run to in between classes to get a snack since it took them 15 minutes to even take our order and another 15 to make our two crepes.....lol

Came here for the crepes last night. GET THE HONG KONG CREPE. Strawberries, chocolate syrup, corn flakes, and ice cream, all wrapped in a yummy crepe. I kind of wish I hadn't discovered their crepes because now I'm going to be coming here a lot more often, which my pants will not be happy about.

Flavor way below average for a sandwich shop. Crepes about the same. Ingredients did not appear particularly fresh, sandwich and crepe was very oily. and eggs were bland. Finally very hot inside on a bright summer day. 2 stars for screwing up sandwiches.

The subs here are some of my favorite I've ever had. The meats are fresh, toppings are delicious, and the bread is spectacular. I had it for the fist time a few weeks ago and have been back many times since! I would give the sandwiches FIVE STARS! The sad thing about this place is that while the sandwiches are amazing, the customer service is pretty rude. I've had this experience now nearly every time I have been there. It's consistent that, even when nobody else is there waiting to order, I walk in (seeing two guys standing at the counter prepping food) and get a slight glance but no "hello!" or "how can I help you?" Each time, I've had to go over and stand there until they noticed I was ready to order. And even then, it's "go ahead" and a lackluster "thanks." Today, when I went in there, I was the only customer there and was waiting on a sub. Another girl came in, who clearly knew the two guys working there, and they got into a loud conversation about how coffee gives them diarrhea. SERIOUSLY?! While a customer is sitting there right near you, in earshot, you talk about diarrhea? This was the last straw. Won't be coming back again unless they get some new people working there.

I've been coming here for almost two years, and it's a great place to get a sandwich or crepe to undo that nasty diet. I always get the TBR (Turkey, Bacon, Ranch) and it is nummers. The bread is soo soft and delicious. I've eaten a lot of different sandwiches from different sub shops and I've never had bread quite like that. Their bacon is insanely good, crispy but soft, and perfectly seasoned, while the ranch oozes over and ties it all together. I love that they added the crepe aspect to the store, so now I don't have to trek to Uvill to get a good crepe. I've only had one, I think it was like ice cream, nutella, whip cream, bananas and corn flakes? Give or take a couple ingredients. But it was derricious and a meal in itself. Service is always fine, they haven't ever messed up an order or been rude, and they are relatively good paced with getting the orders out!

If you've ever eaten at Da Vinci's*, this is basically the same place, but with 50% larger portions and prices. The bread looks and tastes the same, and has the same texture. They even bake similar-looking cookies (I haven't tried them). The main sub menu is a little smaller: Da Vinci's has every possible combination of ham, turkey, roast beef, bacon, salami etc., while Sarducci's just has a dozen or so likely-sounding combinations. More hot specialty options, though: sausage, meatball, chicken, steak etc. They also have some salads for you low-carb types. A foot-long from Da Vinci's or Subway is a quick meal that keeps me running for about three hours. I got a foot-long club here, and didn't finish it. More than enough for a weekday lunch, and probably enough for a substantial dinner. -- * yelp.com/biz/da-vinci-su…

Ok it was a bad groupon experience. Employee or I think the owner was upset, said they did not intend the groupon for this location and that they were suing groupon for losses. That being said they honored the groupon, but not what it said. No chips, couldnt get a steak sandwich. The groupon said all that was included. The food was good, don't get me wrong but taking out your frustrations by being rude to me has turned me off to ever coming back. Sad because the owner of the kirkland store is so nice. I will go back there. One caveat, one of the employees was very nice. I wish his courtesy could make up for the lack there of from the owner.

Whenever I'm looking for a hot sub in UD area, this is the go-to place for me. I've tried a few varieties of their sandwiches and was happy with pretty much all, even their vegetarian sub didn't disappoint me. I also tried their crepe as well (customized to have strawberries, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and nutella) and paired with americano from SB up the street and it was a happy day for me. Recommend!

  • Alex T.

I went here with my friend and apparently they have really good crepes, so I went ahead and tried them out. They're also a place that makes a ton of subs (considering the fact that it IS a sub place), but I kind of already had lunch... Anyways, they have a huge display of fake versions of what they make, which I always love since it gives you an idea of what to expect. They have a plethora of choices but I decided to get the hong kong crepe: strawberries, ice cream, corn flakes, nutella... topped with whipped cream! I'm not a huge sweets person but I enjoyed it nonetheless. A little messy to eat and it honestly got a little too sweet for me, but it was alright. Will be back, to actually try their subs.

I have been to this place before and after the change, and their subs are still good. I have had each sub at least once over the time it has been there, and some of the workers know me well, since I usually order "the Bomb" frequently. Service was really fast and friendly in my opinion, even on the things that wern't subs, like crepes, ravioli, and spaghetti. It is a little more pricier than the other sub places on the Ave, but their taste is also better compared to the other subs I have had on the Ave.

Phenomenal! Had the Honolulu Chicken Breast sandwich and a caramel crepe. I can't explain how delicious it was. Laid back casual atmosphere and even the bathrooms were immaculate. One of my favorite u district spots to eat. Not result outdoor seating but the windows open to the street

  • Jon D.

Oh this place could have been so much better with a little bit more respect for the interplay of good ingredients than a sandwich assembly line. A sandwich with chicken breast, BBQ sauce, and ranch isn't difficult to assemble, by no means, but the potential for a nuanced, delicious bite is there! It's a shame not to take advantage of it. That said, my sandwich came out exactly as I suppose I should expect it to from the menu. It looked far more exciting than it tasted, as I soon realized. Chicken, a bit on the dry, under seasoned side. BBQ sauce, slopped on a little too carelessly, and ended up mostly on my hands. Which brings me to construction quality, it was a bit of a mess to eat after about a third of the sandwich was consumed. Mayo/ranch, did not bring much flavor to the party, but added to the mess. It was fast, hot food. Prices... decent. But taste does not have me itching to come back any time soon.

barely adequate food... I got a crepe here, the most 'light' sounding crepe I could find.. turkey and salad. and they managed to ruin it by putting this disgusting mayonnaise ALL OVER IT. I threw most of it away because it was so gross and I felt so fat after eating it too. not worth it.

  • Eric C.

Literally the best sandwich I've ever had. I think the call the sandwich "Sarducci delux" or "Sarducci italian".. In any case, the bread is what makes the sandwiches here. In a word: divine. The girl I took with me agreed, so I know it's not just me, try this place!

MmmMmmmmm Sarducci's! Is it wrong I'm salivating already and I'm only one sentence deep? I don't know what it is about their sandwiches, but they are really tasty. I discovered Sarducci's in Kirkland a while back because my husband used to work there and go all the time. The Sarducci sub is THE best (IMO), although I'm sure they are all really good, I can't seem to stray away from this one. I was really excited when I learned there was one closer to home and in the U. District...awesome. Thank you for building one there and not making use so much gas to go out to Kirkland from Capitol Hill. I mean, I would if I had to, but that was really generous of you to put one closer to the city. The subs are big, the ingredients are of the good quality kind, and their bread is super tasty! The pricing is good, the staff is always very friendly, and the do a great job preparing the food...they don't mess around with piling on the yummy meats, cheeses, veggies, and sauces on your sandwich. If you are hungry and want a good sandwich, go here! Ps- you should be open on holidays (such as fathers day) at least for a few hours. I was saddened to see you were closed this past Sunday when I arrived at your door. I really wanted a sandwich from your fine facility, lol.

Sandwichs and the newly add Crepe sections are both ok. Cheap though. The savory Crepe comes cold (even with turkey, bacon, etc) but you can ask them to heat it up (which you should). Very Crowded (by seating n people) and not the best line system. The line's also where you grab the Crepes....

SANDWICHES: Decent sub shop. I know food usually looks better in the "window" than the actual food, but I wasn't expecting my sub to have such a drastically less amount of stuff. Rule applies here, don't be fooled by the plastic examples in the shop. As far as taste goes, it's not bad, but I wasn't blown away. French dip sandwich had a nice touch of horseradish, but overall nothing special. You can get a stronger au jus at Arby's. Steak & Tangy Sauce Sandwich was better, had more meat, pretty good sauce. I would come again to try a club sandwich. I must say, reviews about the bread is spot on. Even toasted, the roof of my mouth wasn't raw from the typical baguette-like hardness I've had at other shops, but I still got a delightful crunch with every bite! Perfectness. I comfortably finished a 6", but I wasn't exactly full. (For reference, a medium Pho gets me happy-full). Also, one server accidentally knocked a door off its hinges and fixed it with his gloves on... and continued making subs without changing this gloves. I blame the server and not the shop, but still ewww. CREPES: Paris crepe = AMAZING! Will definitely go back for crepes! I also loved how the strawberries and bananas were spread throughout the crepe from top to bottom. I was afraid all the strawberries would be at the top so that when I got down to the bottom there wouldn't be any. I was very delighted to find a good mix of banana AND strawberries for my last bite!! Oh btw, crepes are conveniently wrapped into a paper cone... perfect for on the go. It was still a tad messy, but in this case, it was totally worth it! A six-inch plus sharing a crepe got me happy-full. Had I a whole crepe... I would be guilty-full. :D OVERALL: 3 for subs + 5 for crepes = 4 stars

Best subs! Period! My favorites are the Italian and the sarduccies hot sub. Their bread is amazing too!

    (5)
  • Anne M.

Eh, ok. Not awful, but certainly not the greatest sub I've ever had. I had a club, which was very light on the meat and heavy on the mayonnaise and tasted mostly of condiments and very soft bread. My friend had the french dip, which also looked pretty bare bones, heavy on the mayo and didn't seem to impress her (she is a french dip connoisseur). The bread was soft and doughy, and the sandwich would have benefitted from more than the thinnest sliver of meat.

Man, from some of these reviews you'd think Sarducci's demands your first-born son just to cook up a decent sub. While this isn't the place to go if you're a starving college student on a $5 a day budget, it's a reasonably priced establishment for what it offers: and that's fresh, mouth-watering, enormous sandwiches. I'm a freshman at UW, and Sarducci's is my go-to spot for lunch. It's a couple minute jaunt from centrally located Red Square, and is never as suffocatingly packed as campus offerings like 8 at McMahon or By George Cafe. I order a chicken breast club sub, add avocado: the meat is succulent, the romaine is crisp, the fresh onions and tomatoes are just right, and their Swiss is divine. It's slathered in a delicious blend of mayo and their homemade ranch that always manages to slowly drip out the other end of the sub - instant dip. The warm, housemade bread wraps the toasted club sub up beautifully. It's a feast all by its lonesome, but if I've skipped breakfast I'll sometimes indulge in a bag of Lay's to accompany. Patrons concerned about angry wallets (or straining belts) should forgo the chips, nab a couple of free water cups, and split a foot-long; hell, light-eaters could split a 6-inch. The portions are colossal, so temperance is the virtue here if you're looking to save. Don't let the negative views dissuade you. There's a reason Sarducci's is packed with locals each and every afternoon, and it's not because it's a pricier Subway.

It's a little pric-ey, but very nic-ey; Ask for hot peppers to make your sub spic-ey! Now that I've given away my secret to writing rave rhyming reviews ... for some actual content. Sarducci's is a new entrant to the Ave; but it's been in Seattle for a while -- as evidenced by a picture in which Matt Hasselbeck proclaims Sarducci's to be the best in town. The portions are huge -- enough to satisfy a quarterback's apetite; but also rather expensive (enough to ding a quarterback's paycheck?). I had a foot-long cheese-steak with chips+soda combo, and it totalled a whopping $13. The sub itself was okay -- it was nice and toasty, the meat was juicy, and the bread was *oh so fresh and warm*. The people there are super-friendly, and the place is very clean. However, next time, I'll stick with a 6" sub and skip the chips to have an affordable lunch (~$7). Rating: 3.5 stars

I'd never heard of Sarducci's Sub's before they opened a store on "The Ave". But since I've worked at the UW for a long while now, I'm always happy to try any new food place. This place doesn't dissapoint. I ordered the hot Sarducci Sub and it was really quite good. The bread to toppings ratio was excellent! The staff are also, quite friendly and helpful. So far, I'd say that Sarducci's will be a welcome addition to the plethora of restaurants on the Ave.

I don't eat out a lot but the sandwiches I've tried so far at Sarducci's are great! It's been a while since I've eaten one of the sandwiches so I can't recommend any but they have such a wide variety of choice that it really is up to an individual's own taste to choose one. I'm writing this review more specifically about the crepes! My favorite is the Hong Kong crepe and I personally like to replace the chocolate with nutella, a $.50 extra charge, but it makes it taste sooo much better! Sometimes I feel like the chocolate is too rich so I like eating it with nutella instead. The Hong Kong originally includes strawberries, whipping cream, ice cream, chocolate, powdered sugar, and cornflakes. I need ice cream in my crepes to make it taste more..."refreshing"?...because just eating whipping cream is a little meh~ for my taste buds so that's why I like getting the Hong Kong. Also, I really like the crunchy texture that the cornflakes add to the crepe. This is the most expensive crepe on the menu, but I think it's so worth the money because it's so delicious! They also have savory crepes that includes meat and such like a crepe sandwich and I want to try it, but I'm a little reluctant to get it because I don't know if it will reallyyy be good and would rather get a sandwich there if I was looking for something to fill my stomach.

These sandwiches are the sandwiches of my life. I have never had better. After quiznos started losing quality, I decided to find a new place. Subway just doesn't cut it. Which wich is too expensive. I went into Sarduccis, was a little be skeptical based on how new it looked. One bite.....heaven. The bread is literally soft as dough as long as you get the white bread. The meat is amazing, ranch sauce is amazing, veggies are amazing. Oh, and the sandwiches are HUGE!!!!!!!!!! I recommend the ham and swiss. I get it once a week.

  • John B.

This place is really good. They make way better subs than Subway and Jimmy John's. WAY better! Serving size is huge and very filling. A footlong sub from subway leaves me hungry still but a six inch sub here leaves me satisfied. Crepes are delicious too! Instead of going for the most inexpensive one in the menu, you should spend a dollar more and get one with fruits in it. Totally makes the crepe way better!

Had the chef salad--it was really fresh, really big, and really well-priced. Staff is still very nice, I will definitely get another salad. They do put on the dressing right there, so you have to be ready to eat the salad immediately. Its really hot in here on hot days.

Best sandwich place on the ave. The french dip is by far my favorite.

  • Mandy W.

Restaurant is very dirty! If I was reviewing this place without ever seeing it I'd give it 5 stars. The sandwiches are amazing but one step into any of their locations and you'll think twice before ordering. Both Kirkland and Seattle locations are very dirty.

    (3)
  • Taeyoung W.

The sandwiches are okay, but overpriced. Footlongs are about 8 dollars each... which is not the deal students are looking for in our economy. With great sandwich deals all over the ave, this place probably won't survive this market with places like Subway and Chipotle around. The sandwiches aren't worth the extra bills, so I probably won't be back again.

I tried their ham salad crepe; came with a few slices of ham (enough for the price), cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, sliced hardboiled egg, (i chose no mayo) and house sauce, finished off with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. The house sauce tasted a bit mayo-ey, and it was kind of sweet....it made the eggs in my crepe actually taste like deviled eggs. it was pretty good, a bit on the salty side, i think from the ham. The crepe was a nice taste and texture. it was a good contrast of flavors and textures, and the crepe was a little warm while the inside was cold. i enjoyed my lunch a lot! it was a good portion too. i could definitely go for the same thing again. but maybe next time i will try crepe cravers, just because they have a bigger and (so i've heard) better selection of crepes than sarducci's. but less than $6 for a nice crepe is pretty decent to me! just a note on the subs... lots of people came in getting either sweet crepes or subs while i was there from 12-1. the subs look decent, their bread isn't super puffy but it looks like there is enough substance to be satisfied.

    (4)
  • Russell L.

For my first visit, I tried the French Dip. Verdict? Grease bomb! It was over-mayo'd, had very little roast beef and what the hell is up with their "au jus"? Its got a thick-ass layer of olive oil on top and so when you go for the sandwich dipping, the oil coats the bread first so no actual sauce sticks to the sandwich. I've never seen au jus with oil on top. I give this experience a big old fail. It took forever for them to prep the sandwich too. One exception to this mess: cheap prices.

    (3)
  • Sean Y.

I've been there twice. The subs are actually filling! They use fresh ingredients (i.e. I saw them cut the tomatoes), and they actually pack the bread full of veggies, condiments, and meat. Plus oven fresh bread! It's like $2 more than subway, but you get a full belly (subway footlongs don't fill me up), good service, and quality food. It's worth it. Better value than any other sandwich place around.

This place used to be great; a throwback to what the original store in Kirkland was when it first opened. Then they started remodeling to put the crepe stand in and some of their meat went rancid and they served it anyway. Got my sub home and didn't even have to taste it to know it was bad. Went back to the store to complain a few days later and the place reeked of foul meat so I didn't even bother. I won't be going back.

  • Jonas C.

I'm a sucker for free refills on drinks and they have it here. That's not why this place gets four stars, it's because they have fresh bread and some decent sandwiches. I got the French dip, was pretty good. I liked the tang of the horseradish, though I would've liked a stronger au jus. A little on the pricier side for the Ave, but hey it's the Ave, but it's good.

Just as excellent as the Kirkland shop. Prices are extremely low for quality of sandwiches. Hands down my favorite local subs!

This place is amazing. Thats all that needs to be said. Portions are huge, prices are decent, and all the workers there are really nice. When I first came here I was skeptical, but soon as I bit into the bread, ohhh hohohooo.

I got takeout from Sarducci's last night, one 12" meatball, one 12" Tuna. Upon getting home, only a few minutes later, my heart sank. Maybe I'm biased, and coming from Philly, I'm used to a good crust on an italian roll, but even those without the exposure to the best would agree that what my lady and I got was a travesty, Whoever wrapped the sandwiches in tinfoil and a rectangular cardboard tray (normally reserved for nachos) had smashed the sandwiches flat to fit the trays. This probably wasn't intentional, but the bread was so lacking in structure, spongy and wonder-white, that the earth's gravitational pull could have well been equally to blame. The meatballs were...ehh. No character or salt. But it's pretty hard to screw up a meatball sub. The tuna was ....sweet. I know not why. Under salted would be mild in characterizing the lack of flavor, besides the aforementioned sweetness, and the cheese was dry (not sure how that's even possible...) Maybe if drunk, and in need of something to soak up the booze, but not fit for human consumption otherwise.

  • Ash V.

Great veggie sandwiches on a really fresh bread. Toasting the bread makes the extra wait totally worth it. The customer service is excellent, and the restaurant always seems very clean. They could use a little more variety for their food, I can imagine that their sandwiches would get old after a few visits. Perhaps a pesto chicken sandwich? A garlic hummus Mediterranean combo? That would taste terrific with their bread. It can be a little pricey for an average student, but you can rely on the quality, which is also important. I'll be recommending this place to my friends!

  • John R.

I went here to try the Philly cheese steak per other yelp reviews. I went during a week day and the place was fairly empty. It is clean, has plenty of tables and prices seem fair. My sandwich however was just OK. Maybe the guy over baked it to get the cheese melted, but most of the flavor of the meat and veggies had dissipated. I think I will give this place another shot because I think I may have had a fluke sandwich experience.

  • Ana Marie A.

Hands down, this is one of the best sandwich joints on the Ave. Their bread is oh-so-freaking amazing and the portions are generous. I recommend the Philly cheesesteak and the French dip sandwiches. Yum.

Hella good sammy fasho! Delicious bread - owner said they freshly bake the bread and cookies daily! Beats ANY subs or sammy shops in 50 miles radius. Must try! I can imagine this store get a line out when school resumes in the fall! Truly gourmet sammies!

  • David F.

Mediocre sandwiches, and at around $7 for a foot long, I expected more. However, the customer service was great and the interior was very clean. The bread was well toasted, and tasted very fresh. However, what was inside left something to be desired. The 12" sub was incredibly filling-- more so than most sandwiches from Jimmy Johns or Subway. I think that I would have been satisfied with the 6". Perhaps the sandwich that I got was not their shining star. I might go back to try a different one.

  • Hillary V.

My friend and I split the turkey bacon crepe and the Paris crepe. Both were quite enjoyable. However, the Paris one was the best probably because it was full of happiness, specifically bananas, strawberries, chocolate, and whip cream. The crepe crust was pretty great. I am pretty sure the dude that makes the sandwiches and crepes is the owner AND the only employee, so be wary of long lines. Otherwise, all good!

My girlfriend and I were visiting Seattle on her spring break and after a canoeing trip at UW we ate here and were simply blown away! I got the French Dip and she got the Tangy Beef sandwich. The bread is amazing, so soft yet flaky, and the au jus was very flavorful. I preferred the French Dip over the Tangy Beef but when we tried dipping it into the au jus the flavor went through the roof (if you're into that kind thing) We were so in food heaven that we decided to get a strawberry banana crepe with green tea ice cream and had to contemplate life after we finished... I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle!

Sarducci's is the type of find you share with your friends. It's a place that you'll remember for it's decent sandwiches and also large portions. Every sandwich comes in a 6 or 12 inch size and I'll say right now, I had a hard time finishing the 12 inch. I chose the Sarducci Signature club without cheese for myself. Service is good as well. If you order to eat at the restaurant, they will bring the finished sandwich to you. In term of price, it's pretty average. But with the amount of food you get, it's definitely worth it.

I went in on a Friday night at 7pm to order a crepe. It wasn't busy, but it took 15 minutes to get it. The crepe itself was 90% whipped cream. The pancake had good flavor and was cooked well though. So if I go back I'll ask for at least half the amount. But it looks like there are other crepe places in the area -- I'll be trying those first.

I wanted to try their french dip and it was probably one of the best i have tasted. The bread is really good!

Delicious and awesome crepes. The employees here are very friendly! One guy even gave us a free soda, just because. The selection of crepes is huge! The menu is very visual and helpful for first time customers. The portions are huge for very cheap! Also, the place was generally clean and well kept. It is right next to UW, so it's easy to grab a yummy snack after class. They take both cash and card! I would come back to get a crepe any day!

Came here with a couple of friends for the crepes. They have a variety of offerings that include both savory crepes and sweet crepes. I forgot specically which crepe I got, but it included nutella, ice cream, strawberries, bananas, and whip cream if I'm not mistaken. The crepe skin itself is pretty good with a good chew to it but not tough at all. The inside of the crepe is tasty and not too sweet at all. A little pricey but crepes are usually that price so I can't complain. I have never tried out the subs and sandwiches here before but I have heard great things so I would love to give it a try. Overall, a very good place to get your crepe fix!

Hands down, *the best* sub (sandwiches) I've ever eaten. You get an amazing, heavy sandwich for a great price that is loaded with way more goodies than you'd ever get at Subway or Quizno's, and the bread (which is baked in-house, fresh, daily) is beyond words. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Sarducci's makes great subs. I first experienced this place when I ate a bunch of sub slices at the first UW Startup Weekend - an event they catered. (They might have even provided the subs for free - in which case, thanks for the sponsorship!) When I went here back in college, I got the vegetarian sub. They put a nice mix of toppings on there, and most importantly, the bread is phenomenal. It's the best bread I've ever had on a sub - fluffy and light while substantive. The employees are kind and will remember you after awhile (better than other places on the Ave that don't even bother to pay attention). The prices are also reasonable - a bit more than Subway, but not absurdly so. They also offer crepes in the store, and they're excellent.

I had this feeling where most yelp users have a majority of their ratings at 5 stars. I went through my friends list and confirmed this. This is general artifact of people's psychology in general, not just limited to food ratings. They tend to overpredict or overvalue their rating. For me, 5 stars should be rare in relation to 3/4 stars, as it indicates ones favorite restaurants. I looked at my own ratings and realized I am picky with my 5 stars. Sarducci gets the 5 stars from me! There was this time period my Freshman year of college where Sarduccis was the place I go to the most, and I would always order the Chicken Bacon Club. It's super juicy and delicious, you just have to try it and if you don't like it then can disregard my opinion all together. Recently, I been order the philly cheese steak more, and despite not really being an authentic philly cheese steak, it's delicious. I always order Au Jus sauce to go with the philly, and it's not the best Au Jus since it's a bit too salty, and I can taste they use soy sauce in their Au Ju. Still, the Au Ju is pretty good given the context of the ave and it's full of fat as I like it. Chicken Bacon Club, and Philly Cheesesteak here is why I gave it 5 stars. The korean guy that owns this place is pretty chill too. Their soda machine flavor is a bit off, but it's not as bad as other places on the ave. I drink alot of soda, so I can taste the most minute deviation in flavor from packaged soda. They should lower the price on their chips, though, maybe by like 25 cents. They also have Crepes here, but I don't really care for those. This rating does not factor Crepes in here. The only reason I would deduct a point is cause the food is sort of rich and fatty, and I get heartburn after. But it's a decision I live with when I go in here.

All type of unique crepes stuck with the simple chocolate and caramel whipped cream. Both were good I swapped and enjoyed the frozen chocolate chips they were huge. #Seattle #foodie #dessert #UW #UDISTRICT

First time I went I had the Philly Cheese. They cook if fresh on the spot. All raw ingredient fried up on the spot. The sandwich was amazing. Second time had the same thing this time the meat was low quality and had a lot of fat. Worth the risk because if they make it well it is the best sun I have ever had!

I want to preface this review by saying that I don't know whether Sarducci's Specialty Sub is a separate establishment from Crepan World but happens to occupy the same location, or the two are joint businesses. With that said, I'm only applying this review to the crepe I had here. Why? Because crepes are cheaper than subs. Duh! Prices are good... as long as you get the sweet crepes and not the savory crepes. They have an entire wall with a case to display their selection. It's pretty cool seeing the plastic (or maybe it's wax, like it really matters) models of each crepe on their menu. Although it's difficult to pull off right, more restaurants should do this kind of thing. Anyway, the prices start at $2.99 for some of their sweet crepes, so it's obviously snack food and not meant to be a full meal if you just get one crepe. I ordered a turkey and bacon crepe, and what I liked about the service is how the guy behind the counter got to making my crepe right away. No dilly-dallying like what I've encountered at too many other restaurants. The crepe was ready in five minutes, and it was handed to me across the counter top like an ice cream cone at Baskin-Robbins. There definitely is an ice cream-like feel with eating food like this. Even though it's basically what amounts to turkey and bacon in a sandwich, I still got that childlike glee from tasting the sweetness and softness of that crepe. It was a pretty awesome feeling, and even the turkey and bacon were good in their own right. The addition of lettuce, tomato, and onion reminded me of Subway a bit. However, if you are going for the crepes here, know that they are not like Subway even if you go for the crepes filled with meat. Subway sandwiches can actually get you full; that's not the case here. I assume the subs at Sarducci's can be full meals, but I didn't get to try one while I was here. I enjoyed the crepe, so we'll see how good the subs are next time!

Today I was down in the U-District and stopped for lunch at a familiar name. I visited the location in Kirkland many times. I got a Club (turkey, ham and roast beef with let, tom, pickles and of course BACON) on that freshly baked bread. It was a great sandwich on a warm day.

I've come here a couple times now and I am a big fan of their sandwiches. They have a very large selection and the quality is much better than Subway, Which Wich, or even *gasp* Jimmy John's (I hate their bread). Their prices are comparable to regular priced Subway sandwiches (minus the $5 footlongs) and you'll be eating way fresher here. I usually get the Italian style sandwiches, which are always a good choice, but I've also tried the Philly Cheesesteak which is made to cheesy perfection. If you want a quick and reasonably priced sandwich, go to Sarducci's instead of Subway or Jimmy John's. Try their crepes too!

Food-wise: 3 Service: 5 Yelp avg: 4 This place is one of the only places on the Ave that I consistently go to. I come here for all of my sweet cravings, whenever I'm in need of something light to eat (savory crepes), and when I feel the need for a pretty good toasted sub. I usually like the sweet crepes, but about halfway through eating them, I dislike the amount of cream that goes into it. I would not mind if there was less cream. In fact, taking out the cream altogether would be fine with me. I especially love the anko fruit crepe because I am a great lover of sweet red beans, but don't expect the beans to be fresh! They have a slightly hard, watery, canned feel to them, but it is bearable. The only problem that I have with their crepes is that they give too much of the "saucy." As in: potato crepe doesn't need that much dressing nor the sweet crepes needing that much whipped cream. If the amounts of these could be adjusted, I would enjoy the crepes from here so much more! As for their subs, I have had two. The Honolulu chicken? Or was it called the Hawaiian? And a sub that had a very nose-stinging horseradish smear in it. The horseradish will buzz your nostrils and your eyes. It is awesome. If you're looking for pain! :D Like I said for the crepes, less saucy stuff equals deliciousness. That particularly sub needed a halving of horseradish.. Make sure to get your sub toasted! It tastes so good when warm.

Sandwiches are AMAZING and crepes are AMAZING. Get The Bomb or the BBQ Hawaiian toasted and you won't be disappointed. I literally go here at least once a week. Better than Jimmy John's for sure, if you have the time to stop in. The staff is really chill and kind as well.

I had a pretty lousy sandwich. The lettuce tasted old and the avocado was unripe and cut into large chunks that persistently popped out of the sandwich. There are plenty of other good sandwich places around, so no reason to waste your money here.

Came here to try out the crepes. I had the ham salad crepe and was very satisfied with it. It wasn't greasy at all, very soft and tasty. We also shared one sweet crepe - nutella banana crunch - which is thumbs up as well.

Not only does Sarducci's have amazing sandwiches, pasta, and other lunch/dinner foods, but now they have CREPES! The owner of Sarducci's is friends with the former owner of Unicorn Crepes (used to be in the International District) and they have teamed and improved the batter of the crepes. Also, Unicorn Crepes used to use frozen fruit, and Sarducci's (or Crepan World) uses REAL fruit. The prices are also about 50 cents cheaper than the former Unicorn Crepes! They have savory but mostly sweet crepes. Prices are so reasonable for the portion, it's about the same price as getting fro-yo and they also have ice cream on some of their crepes! :)

Wall. Of. Sandwiches. Take your pick. Or... take a pic. Either way, it's impressive. My favorite is the Honolulu Chicken. I don't necessarily agree with the name... just because it has pineapple doesn't mean it's from Hawaii... but that's neither here nor there... It isn't ridiculously quick, but it tastes fresh so I won't complain. I'll sit my happy ass down and wait for my sandwich. The only thing I don't like is that there's no receptacle to put my straw wrapper after I stick my straw in at the soda counter. (Petty? Yes.) There's also crepes to satisfy your sweet tooth. Or savory tooth. They have those, too.

This place has decent sandwiches. They're very substantial and a good value. However, you've got to choose carefully, because the menu is hit-or-miss. Ask the servers what for a recommendation! Their meatball sub is always good =) It's pretty laid back inside, and is rarely too busy.

I wish I could write a better review because my bacon, turkey, avocado sandwich wasn't terrible and was a good price. But within 4 hours after eating at Sarducci's I completely lost any appetite and didn't know why. Two hours later I felt ill and went to bed at 7pm. By 8pm and until 12pm the next day I was in and out of the bathroom constantly throwing up and experiencing other...unpleasantries. After a call from my doctor confirming my symptoms were, in fact, food poisoning I will never go back to Sarducci's and recommend everyone avoid it.

My Sarduccis sandwich was fine, but not amazing. The prices are good, but it just didnt do it for me. The Hot Pastrami had a VERY thin layer of pastrami (Like one slice thick). This made me sad because it was supposed to be a meat splurge for me, but all I could taste was the hot mustard and sauerkraut. The bread wasnt toasty like Italian sandwiches usually are. It was more reminiscent of Subway bread with a different shape. The people were very nice and it was inexpensive and had a good seating area and location. As always, parking on the Ave can be pretty hard.

YUMM. My coworkers and I came here last week for lunch (or boss was out of town, so we got to venture out of the Medical Center). I loved everything about it! The place looks small, but when you walk inside, there are a comfortable number of tables and chairs. You order at the register, and they bring your food out. They have their "kitchen" laid out so that you can see them making their sandwiches. The portions are GINORMOUS and I enjoyed my Turkey breast club oh-so-much! The turkey meat was flavorful and tender, the bacon was crispy, and avocado is always a plus! The bread came out toasted and perfect. The sandwich was delicious - even with the sauce dripping down my hands. I was also able to get a taste of their french dip, and I loved that too! Usually, I can't find a french dip that like very much, so I was thoroughly impressed when I had a bite of my coworker's. She loves it so much, that she drinks the au jus (win??). Anywho, it might seem a little expensive at first...but once it comes out, you understand why. I'll be back for sure!

I like this place. They have a good selection of sandwiches. I've tried the Sarducci Signature which has ham, salami, pepperoni and a yummy vinegar-y sauce. I've also had the BBQ chicken, which is good as well. Sarducci's is definitely better quality than Subway. I also think they are better than Jimmy John's. Sarducci's has toasted sandwiches unlike Jimmy John's and the sandwich combinations are better. My favorite part about the sandwiches have to be the bread. It is so good, I would totally buy loaves of their bread it if they sold it separately. I wish they didn't use styrofoam cups for water cups, however. I hate the way styrofoam feels and sounds, and it's bad for the environment. I try to remember to bring my water bottle here if I can.

Service was awful. I was the only person in line when I arrived, yet somehow waited 15 minutes and watched many orders go by before I expressed my confusion. They had my chicken club finished in, literally, 60 seconds. That seemed ridiculous. Sandwich bordered on ordinary to better than average, not enough to wipe the sour out of my mouth. Since I work in the area I'll never waste my time here again, but maybe worth a try for anyone with time to kill.

If you've never seen the Homestar Runner comics this opening paragraph makes no sense and you should just skip to the second paragraph which is about the important stuff - the food. Anyway, I can't see the name of this sandwich place without thinking of StrongBad and Homestar Runner even though the name they use is Parducci. I just want to shake my fist and yell "Saaarrrrduuuuccci" while talking on my VCR-car phone contraption. And now on to the actual business... Sarducci is a pretty small sandwich and crepe shop. They can probably seat about 15 - 20 people in there at any given time as long as you don't mind sharing tables or you roll 6 deep and take a table of your own. I have to be honest, when I first walked in and saw all the plastic molds of the crepes and sandwiches I almost left. I mean it's nice to know what goes into dishes, but plastic doesn't make anything look appealing and it makes some things look really, really gross. Luckily I held out and ordered a BLT with avocado, which was delicious. Served on freshly toasted bread, with generous slices of avocado, this sandwich took a little bit of time to make, but it did taste like it was made just for me and hadn't been pre-batched for just anyone to come along and order it up which was great. Also, they have Orange Fanta on the soda machine. Yes!

I come here maybe once every few weeks and pop in for a hot tuna sandwich. It's a pretty unpretentious place, kind of divey, but perfect for a cheap sandwich. I prefer them to Jimmy John's up the block, because the bread is super fresh, and they're a bit cheaper for what you get. (Plus I don't know if Jimmy John's does hot sandwiches.) Anyway, bravo Sarducci's! You're rocking it hard in a crowded sandwich market on the Ave.

Subs and crepes, an unlikely combo An improvement from their other location that was in the International District. UW students are the right crowd for inexpensive foods. I tried the spicy tuna, tomato and egg crepe. Was pretty good. Going to have to work my way through some of the sweet crepes and will report back.

Yah new crepes place on the Ave!!! I was so excited when I saw this place opened recently while passing by one day. I thought I must give it try and see how it is. Their crepes starting at $2.99 but most of them have a price range of $3.99 to $5.99. For approximately $1.50 (or maybe a bit over a dollar) more, you get a scoop of ice cream to go with your crepe! I had the one with the almond with banana and chocolate syrup with ice cream. It was delicious!! The quality is about just as good with the crepe place in Westlake center. I am so happy that I can save more time to just get crepe right around the ave and not downtown! Staff is friendly =) Cant wait to get more crepes! Oh the reason I am giving it a 3 star, instead of 4-star or 5 is because the place is not too clean. They probably get a lot of customers (I visited at a less busy time, not during lunch hours) so even people bus their own tables, the floor is not very clean..
