This place is awesome. Was here for breakfast yesterday. It was great. Decided to come back for desert....great choice!

Hands down my favorite brunch place in downtown Seattle. Oh yes, believe the hype. Fall for the hype. It's recommended for a reason. Food: - Eggs Benedict: Delightful. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce wasn't overpowering. The ham and biscuit are layered wonderfully underneath and never detract from the egg itself. Typically, I wouldn't order eggs Benedict with ham, but rather smoked salmon, but I would return for this breakfast platter. 5/5 - Beignets with Vanilla Mascarpone and Jam: I would say they were the star of the show, but these made-to-order donuts were already in their own category. From their freshly shaken entrance (tossed in cinnamon and sugar in a paper bag, right in front of your eyes!) to the accompanying jams, the beignets can be enjoyed with any amount of sugar. The jam isn't your standard, boring grape jelly, but rather a tart raspberry. And even if the mascarpone's white whipped-cream appearance intimidates you (like it did for me), go ahead and dip that beignet in. 5/5 - Spreads (Roasted Red Pepper, Kopinisti, Kalamata): These pricey spreads are eaten with pita bread. The freshly made pita was still warm when we received it, and the spreads are all served in small, accessible bowls. The fig in the Kalamata was just sweet enough to complement the olives, and the Kopinisti's pistachio flavor was just as great. I wasn't the biggest fan of the watery roasted red pepper dip, though. 4/5 Space and Service: I placed a reservation for Lola a couple days in advance, and was promptly seated. There a ton of tables inside. The service is outstanding. The waitress was cheerful, despite an excessively busy brunch scene, and made time to make sure that everything was at the table. She didn't check in too often or hover, but made prompt rounds whenever necessary. Overall, a fantastic place for any meal of the day. You can't go wrong, so head on over there now!

The kebabs were pretty good but you get barely anything for the price you pay. The other stuff we ordered (potatoes and spaghetti) were OK of unremarkable. The food quality isn't bad but the value just isn't that great. Additionally the service seems slower than I would expect, both in terms of getting waiter attention and actually receiving the food. To be fair the waiter did tell us to get entrees, which seen to be more reasonably portioned.

Lola might be my favorite Tom Douglas restaurant. It's open late, prices are cheaper, somehow it offers both delicious brunch and Greek option (while being far from traditional Greek) and the service is pretty good. I came on a Saturday with my mother and dog (earlier this year), we were seated outside in the freezing cold and considering the temperature got pretty good service. First, they fed us outside when no one else was crazy enough to eat outside, second they accommodated my dog. Food Lamb skewers - marinated with a red wine sauce if I remember correctly and served with tsataiki. Flavorful and juicy but I would if preferred more meat. Would recommend but not necessarily over pleasing for a carnivore. Eggs Benedict - full of flavor, holandaise was flavored and perfect, everything else came together because of it, a nicely done egg and their famous potatoes which were pretty good. Donuts with jam and mascarpone - slightly overrated, well made and shaken in front of you with cinnamon (the guy at pikes place will do this for you as well), the mascarpone was the highlight, jam was fresh and nice as well. I need three orders though to make me happy considering I'm a donut guy but that would be too pricy. Might order again.

This could possibly be one of my favorite breakfast places ever. To start, their donuts are very good. They're light and airy. They come six to an order and the waiter/waitress brings them out in a paper bag, shakes them up in the bag with sugar and then puts them on the plate along with vanilla marscarpone and seasonal (in my case apricot) jam. I ordered the eggs benedict because I heard that's one of the dishes they're known for. I'm not usually one to order this but it's worth trying out. The ham is from Bavarian Meats right down the street at Pike Place and you get a really good portion of it on top of the muffin. The poached eggs are perfect when the yolks mix with the dill hollandaise sauce. The dill is the kicker in the sauce. The smashed garlic potatoes on the side are delicious as well. I'll never look at hash browns the same! Also, make sure you get there on time. I'm not yet acquainted with the parking situation around that area so I showed up over 15 minutes late expecting to have the table given away but it wasn't! I wouldn't have blamed them one bit for doing so but we were grateful they didn't!

Started out poorly because our party of five came in from the rain and straight from the airport and then waited for almost an hour for a table BUT they kept seating other parties of 4 and 5 ahead of us (although they ALL came later and I've been checking about our table). When asked about why it's taking so long, the hostess cut me an attitude saying they only have certain tables for big parties. Gimme a break, what a crock of shit. I've been a hostess before. Anyway, while I was there, miraculously a table opened up. I was quite unhappy but couldn't walk out because hellooo my group. Luckily, the food was good (fabulous smashed potatoes!!) and our server was awesome n on point.

Once again Yelp to the rescue! A nice relaxing brunch was long past due, and thus after a thorough search on Yelp, the consensus was on trying Lola. Once we got there (which was around 10 on a Saturday morning) we were told the waiting time is 45 minutes or we can choose to sit at the bar! The latter was the obvious choice as my stomach could not take anymore food deprivation. The staff would be the highlight of my dining experience! They were so nice, polite and happy to help. If you read my reviews, you will know that I have one steady choice at brunch which is Eggs Benedict and it gives me a pretty good base for comparison among different restaurants. We also ordered a Tom's big breakfast. One quick look and you can definitely tell that this place is not a $$, but a $$$ one. Having said that, it is kinda worth it; everything was perfect. The eggs Benedict was scrumptious, the hollandaise was heavenly and there was a side of potatoes that were nothing like potato, looked more like croissants, and crispy on the outside; it was really good, oh and it was garnished with dill and the aroma of dill was just the cherry on top. There might be less than five brunch places on my list with eggs Benedict that exceed my expectations and this is one of them. To my surprise, Tom's big breakfast was also very good, perfectly cooked octopus and a lot of veggies. The only quibble that I have is that the dishes were a bit too salty and greasy for my liking, the Tom's breakfast a little bit over-fried which made me feel guilty to finish the whole dish. Overall it was a great dining experience! I am new to Seattle and Turns out Tom Douglas is everyone's favorite around here; well, I am on board too!

Came on Sunday morning around 11am, and we didn't have to wait for a table for party of two. We ordered Tom's favorite breakfast, eggs benedict, and made to order doughnuts. My favorite was Tom's breakfast. It was better than I expected, with generous amount of tender octopus cooked with lots of other veggies and topped with sunny side up egg. Hearty breakfast dish, the kind that I like. Eggs benedict was a little rich, the portion was huge, but I don't know anyone that can finish all that richness! The smothered potatoes were delicious, crispy edges with just the right amount of crunch. Made to order doughnuts were as I expected. It wasn't earth shattering, I would think all freshly baked doughnuts sprinkled with cinnamon should be this good. I did like the vanilla mascarpone, and the presentation was nice. Overall, a good place for brunch, but a little on the pricey side... not sure if it's a place I'd come back to. Very friendly service, but nothing that really stood out as being memorable.

A TRUE GEM, WOW. When my mom and I decided to have our first mother-daughter trip, we were super stoked about the food in Seattle! There are SO many good restaurants, and the night before our trip, we both were busy on yelp, bookmarking and checking out the different local places. Lola wasn't in our list, but I discovered on our second morning at the Emerald City. It seemed like a great breakfast joint, so we decided to give it a go. And, I am SO HAPPY we did!! First off, the decor! I absolutely loved the decor of this restaurant! There is also an amazing waiting lobby (when it gets crowded) where comfortable couches, bookshelves, and a small fireplace await for you. It literally feels like a living room of a cozy cabin, but definitely more modernized! The physical restaurant is beautiful, and I love the decor they have from the ceiling! Greatly designed. We decided to get the mini doughnuts and the raved octopus dish. I was a little skeptical about octopus just because...seafood in the morning? Our food came out pretty quickly, and my mom loved her huge latte as well! It was very rich and such a great brew! My doughnuts were great! I loved the fact that the server brings it out in a bag (all hot and fresh) and then shakes the bag (full of sugar) in front of you. Then, he or she beautifully pours it out on your plate-YUM. The homemade jam and mascarpone were great additions!! But, by far, the OCTOPUS. My mom and I devoured that dish and raved that we could've eaten that every single day. It was AMAZING. Perfect texture and the sauce was a tang but so savory. Don't be wary like we were-just get it. Service was great here, and in order to avoid lines, come after 9am! It can definitely get quite crowded because of the work rush! But, wow, wow, and wow!! Definitely going back!! 39/100

We stopped by Lola's for breakfast, dinner, and a nightcap since we were staying at the adjoining Hotel Andra. It is packed for weekend brunch, but we always found the perfect seat at the bar. The summer squash scramble was the perfect breakfast for a vegetarian and coffee was piping hot. We never ended up getting the donuts, which I know was a mistake, but everything else was delicious and the bread was perfectly seasoned and soft. Dinner was my favorite of the meals. We tried the lamb burger, hummus platter, and skewered mushrooms, which were all divine. They have a great house red wine priced really nicely. If you're coming for weekend brunch, arrive early our scout out the bar area if you have a small party.

Eggs Benedict - (4/5). Overall, very tasty and with plenty of hollandaise sauce over the poached egg (which was surprisingly round! not flat at all). The only downside was that I felt the english muffin was a bit tough. Perhaps toasted too long? Unsure, but either way - still delicious! Tom's Big Breakfast - (4/5). What an interesting combination of octopus, squash, bacon, leeks, garlic yogurt, vadouvan served with a perfectly poached (and round!) egg and a side of toast. Definitely would recommend cutting the egg and letting the runny yolk soak into everything before eating! Cucumber lemonade - (5/5). Light and fizzy, without being overly sweetened. A must try!

Be prepared to pay a lot for parking on the weekend to come here. The closest lot is $12+. Should've parked in Pacific Place. We arrived at noon for brunch and were told the wait was 30 minutes. However we weren't seated until after 1pm. An hour is a long time to wait but luckily the wait area is in the hotel lobby so the seating is very cushy couches. We got coffee while we waited which helped pass the time. A cup of coffee is over $4. The wait staff was very on top of their game. We ordered a Salmon Benedict, greek salad, side of smashed potatoes and two pancakes. I did like their rendition of breakfast potatoes. They're small potatoes that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They had a different taste than what I've ever eaten before. The Salmon Benedict was really good. No complaints. The greek salad was good but the portion was pretty small especially for the price. We had pancakes for dessert. They were also good but nothing special really. Overall the food was good but overrated for the price and the wait. For two people we spent over $60. It really seems the restaurant is meant to service the hotel guests, which is partially why the prices are high. Overall atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. It's a mix of young and old. Modern and rustic. In the heart of downtown it definitely feels like your in the middle of the action of the city. I'll probably return at some point to try their lunch dishes but it won't be my first choice in the area.

This place is amazing and I'm so happy I stopped here on my short visit to Seattle! If you're 21 and it's nice outside, I really enjoyed sitting outside! Especially if you're a tourist, it's cool. A must order are the doughnuts! They are made to order and are so damn good. I almost was outraged to pay $10 for 6 small doughnuts, but one you taste them, you'll probably find a reason to order a second batch. They're served with a vanilla type topping and a seasonal jam. I wanted to do Tom's fave breakfast, but decided to play it safe and go with the eggs Benedict. It was amazing though! And their smashed potatoes are really good. I love how crisp they are. My gf got the chicken kabobs off the lunch portion, really good Greek. I'll definitely be back for breakfast though when I'm in Seattle again.

Made Lola a destination after seeing Giada RAVE about their made to order donuts from Food Network's "Best Thing I Ever Ate". Walked here from my hotel around 9am, sat at the bar. and guess whose sitting at the bar as well? Tom Douglas. I didn't know who he was until I started researching Seattle spots to hit up and learned he's super big in the Seattle food scene. Kinda cool. Anyways...... The donuts are just HYPE. They're brought to you in a paper bag, shaken tableside, and then plopped onto your plate along with vanilla marscapone and apricot jelly. They weren't piping hot how I've had other made to order donuts. They're about the same size as pretzel bites with one texture all around, soft and fluffy (but then all yeast donuts are soft and fluffy). While the sauces were better than average, there wasn't anything about this $13 (w/tax + tip) dish that was absolutely head and shoulders better than any other yeast donut I'v had. Wasn't the game changer like how when I first tried fresh malasadas from Leonards. Hey Giada!, there's a reason tour busses stop @Leonards. I have to uber here. Expectations set reality. And the reality is these donuts are good if you're not expecting them to be and a disappointment if you are expecting them to be "euphoric, OMG!, Absolute best, mindblown, etc" in how other yelpers have said. Lola is all around a great restaurant. They are inventive with flavors and they do not skimp on quality. I have eaten at Lola for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and was pleased with all of them. Most recently I tried their chicken kebab which hit the spot. The chicken was tender and flavorful. It was accompanied by a wonderful Greek salad that was brought to the next level with a hint of mint and smashed potatoes that were out of this world delicious. They were tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. My husband let me try his lamb which was equally as tasty as my chicken. A great place to go when you want to treat yourself or someone special.

To be honest, I can live without Mediterranean food but I literally had the most wonderful experience at Lola! My friends and I heard good things about this place so we walked about 1 1/2 - 2 miles from where we were staying in Capitol Hill to have a nice Sunday brunch (we didn't want to uber and the weather was so lovely). As expected with any nice restaurant, the wait was about an hour so we walked around the shops nearby (Macy's & Bartell's). Once we were seated, I decided to get the Salmon Kebab plate ($17) since everything else had pork. I choose not to eat pork but will when the right time calls for it. All of my friends ordered different items and all 4 of them were more than satisfied! Everything was delicious! The pita, the potatoes, the Greek yogurt, just everything!! Our server Elaine even hooked my friend up with extra thick pieces of bacon. My other two friends wanted both the Tom's Favorite ($19) breakfast and the Eggs Benedict ($18) so Elaine mentioned that they can do a half order of each for just a $1 extra. Let me just say, their portions were huge! Peep my photos to see the half size for each. My other friend got the Lamb Kebab plate ($16) and damn did the lamb taste good. He said it's the best lamb he's ever had. I would definitely get that if I ever do return to Seattle. The Lamb wasn't gamy at all which is usually a problem for me whenever I decide to order lamb. Also, my other friend ordered the Lola Breakfast ($15). My friend asked for a a half order of sausage and bacon since you have to choose but out server Elaine decided to bring extra bacon out. She is such a doll. MAKE SURE TO GET THE MADE TO ORDER DOUGHNUTS ($9)! The vanilla marscarpone & raspberry jam paired perfectly with this dessert. Ugh I want some now as we speak *drooling* Anywho, Elaine made our experience so awesome! She was more than accommodating and split our bills without hesitation. I even wrote an essay on the notes section and my friend said that she deserves a raise. She is the epitome of what customer service should be. Elaine, you kick major ass!

Came here for brunch on a Sunday and did not have to wait more than 15 minutes after calling in to put our name down. We ordered the following 1) donuts - These are a must. Donuts are freshly fried and the vanilla mascarpone and jam are a perfect combo with the donuts. 2) eggs Benny - This came in a huge serving. The English muffin was rather hard to cut open, otherwise a solid Benedict. It also came with smashed garlic potatoes. Fried and full of flavor. 3) Toms special breakfast- stir fries octopus with potatoes , roasted corn, other veggies, roasted tomatoe, and a poached egg as well as two pieces of bread. Surprisingly, the octopus was not super chewy like it is in sushi. Overall, solid place for brunch. Service was friendly and attentive. Interior was trendy. Donuts were bomb.

Great place for dinner (though I know this place is more popular for brunch)! Overall this place was amazing - great food and service. The ambiance was great too, comfy chairs and wooden decorations. I liked this place a lot and would definitely come back. Pita bread appetizers - There is a variety of spreads you can get at this restaurant, which is paired with pita bread. This was delicious as the bread was soft and the spreads were good too. I tried two the more popular ones, but can't remember the name. Pork chops - This was cooked very nicely, but was too salty in my opinion. Seafood dish - Delicious! I liked this a lot, there was an abundance of mussles and clams, a scallop, crab, and fish. Good choices and cooked well. Donuts - These are the famous Lola donuts! Definitely worth a try. They come with cream and a jelly, pairs well with these little donuts.

Had high hopes for this Tom Douglas establishment. Every good brunch resto needs to have a solid eggs benny, but Lola didn't. The ham was too dry and the hollandaise was lackluster. The 30min wait almost felt like it went to waste upon my first few bites :( Thankfully, the freshly made donuts were freakin' amazing and definitely a 5-star. Could've probably eaten 10 of them. Their house cured gravlax (smoked salmon) was all kinds of delish with chive cream cheese, tomatoes, capers, and onion rye ficelle. Maybe a 3.5 star if we averaged it out.. but I can't get over my disappointment over the egg benny.

I came here on a first date that ended up being a disaster, but at least the food her was phenomenal! I don't follow Tom Douglas nor know who he is outside of the fact that he owns some restaurants, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. I ordered salmon kebabs with a side of smashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked just right, totally melted in my mouth. I love potatoes, but these smashed potatoes might be the #1 best way I've ever had potatoes served to me. Crunchy and seasoned perfectly. Taste kind of like jojos but way better! I don't think I'll end up taking another girl her on a FIRST date because of the price, but I'll certainly come back at some point in the future.

I came for the table side shaking bag of donuts....fresh marsclpon and jam to dip them in! Wonderful spot for breakfast. I would like to come back and explore the menu a little more! Bar is fun

Did you know the first thing I did after booking our trip to Seattle was make reservations for brunch at Lola? I also made it our first stop as soon as we landed. Can you tell how excited I was to see what Tom Douglas had to offer? Walking in to a bustling scene with our table waiting for us made us feel like VIP's. Our server cheerfully greeted us with quite a humor that made us all at ease with her. She graciously answered our menu questions and proved to be on top of things during the entirety of our meal. If anything, thou shall not miss their made to order DOUGHNUTS ($9.50). I'll remember this as one of the best things in my mouth on this getaway. The vanilla mascarpone may have done it, really, but the warm fried dough that melts instantaneously cannot be easily dismissed either. For those in need of something light, half portions of their EGGS BENEDICT is available for half the price. As opposed to Canadian bacon, they use Bavarian ham smothered with their house dill hollandaise and then served with smashed garlic potatoes on the side. It's one scrumptious meal but I'm not sure if it warrants the $19.25 price tag for a full order. I've had better for less. TOM'S FAVORITE BREAKFAST ($19.50) - after devouring an entire plate while moaning in utter satisfaction, I follow suit as this is now my favorite breakfast to date. Supple and soft pieces of octopus are fused together with purple potatoes, bacon, tender greens, and green garlic yogurt. It is then topped with a sunny side up egg that brightened the entire dish as I popped the yolk out, mixing each component together as one big delicious mess. Mount it on your toast, or not. However way you eat it, rest assured, you will be elated bite after bite. A side of PANCAKES were insisted upon us by our server and I shall thank her for doing so. Again, served with their heavenly vanilla mascarpone, you may forego the maple syrup as the cake itself has a distinguished taste that was blissfully satiating. I left Lola in high spirits but as I left Seattle, in a heartbeat I knew this was the best meal I had on this trip.

Service is amazing! People are super friendly and joking so early in the morning. The hot chocolate I had was super foamy and delicious! Something about it didn't taste like the typical hot chocolate, so it was surprising and delicious! Also, my hot chocolate was cheaper than my boyfriend's orange juice which was also in a smaller glass. I had Tom's Favorite Breakfast, which was a poached egg, carrots, octopus, bacon and some veggies. I would have loved it more if there were 2 poached eggs, since I would have loved the yolk all over everything else. The octopus was super flavorful and soft, but too many carrot bits. My boyfriend had the eggs benedict and he liked it lots. Definitely a place to swing by and try for breakfast :)

Heard lots of good things about Lola in the past and when I was planning for my July 4 family trip to Seattle this was on my must-try list. Do make a reservation though - it was fully packed during lunch hours. Arrived promptly at 12:30pm and we were asked to wait at the hotel lobby right next-door. 5 minutes later our table was ready. It's not a big restaurant and tables are placed very close to each other although the high ceiling does help make this place look less packed than it actually is. Our server was extremely nice and was very enthusiastic when explaining her different recommendations. #Doughnuts: A-. Our server said these doughnuts were actually introduced on national broadcast TV (food network?) which she highly recommended. Those were small pillow sizes doughnuts with very soft texture and the right amount of cinnamon sugar. It's hollow inside so don't worry about getting stuffed before main courses. #Tom's Breakfast: A. I liked it a lot! It came with toast and sunny side up egg, but the main focus there was the small octopus pieces mixed with potato and some greens. Very flavorful and texture was very unique when these ingredients were mixed together. #Egg Benedict: A. Nice poached egg with great hollandaise sauce. The ham was pretty lean, but I like the garlic potato the most! #Anderson Lamb Kebab: A-. The lamb kebab meat itself was great. Not a big fan of pitas and cheese on fruits in general (Greek style basically) but both my mom and brother enjoyed those. Solid food quality with excellent customer service. I will go back again whenever I'm in the Seattle area again!

I love this place, the servers are very welcoming, the food is beyond flavorful. It's a beautiful restaurant for a date or just to have dinner with a friend! I tried the smashed garlic fried potatoes and those just burst with flavored in my mouth. It's a must. Fro dessert order the doughnuts they are freshly made and just delish!

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Andra and grabbed breakfast at Lola a couple of times. This place is clearly popular: There was a wait both times as we did not have reservations. It wasn't long, however. The hostess told us thirty minutes and it was about a twenty minute wait. Once you sit down it's easy to understand why there was a wait. The food is delicious, and it's got to be impossible to leave here hungry. Portions are gigantic. We started with the made-to-order doughnuts, which were light, fluffy, sweet and amazing. I had the Lola Breakfast, which was delicious. My wife had the Eggs Benedict, which was a dinosaur-sized portion. She couldn't even get through half, but loved every minute of it. Protip: You can get half portions of most breakfast entrees on the menu. We learned this, unfortunately, when the waitress dropped the check. However, this place gets a well-deserved five stars. The service was fantastic, the coffee-filling was constant, and overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable way to wake up. Just make sure you have plenty of plans to walk the meal off, though. I don't understand how people could possibly eat here and go sit at an office desk without passing out.

After doing a fair amount of research before visiting Seattle, it seemed like Chef Tom Douglas' restaurants were the ones that had to be visited. Whenever going to a new city, being the "foodie" that I am, I always have to try as many food places as possible. Thankfully, 2 of his establishments were within walking distance of each other, Lola and Dahlia Bakery. The foodie game plan was to eat breakfast at Lola, and then take something to go for the rest of the day, over at Dahlia. That didn't quite work out as planned (more on that in my Dahlia Bakery review). yelp.com/biz/dahlia-bake… We got here on a Thursday morning at around 10am. The place was still bustling (don't these people work??!), but were able to get a table after a few minutes. The hostess was friendly and our waitress was top notch. After perusing the menu for 2 minutes, we placed our order (yeah, 2 minutes. We did menu recon before coming over. That's what happens when you go out to eat with Jamie!). Me and my wife got the standard Lola Breakfast and a Wild Mushroom Scramble. Both were very good, but nothing there set them apart from any other place. My 6-year-old got the pancakes. She said they were the best pancakes she's ever had! So, much so, she wanted to come back every day! As my Yelp tagline will give you a little bit of a clue about me, I almost always need dessert after my meal. Yes, even breakfast. I already planned it out. After breakfast, I was going to order their infamous, made-to-order donuts. Let me tell you, there's a reason that Giada De Laurentiis named these donuts as one of the best things she ever ate! You can eat these donuts alone with the sugary coating at it will be one of the best donuts you've ever had. However, when you eat it with the vanilla mascarpone, it takes it to another level. It also comes with a season fruit jam, but toss that out and ask for extra mascarpone! Trust me. TLDR: Donuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sausage and the bacon were very large and good quality! The smashed garlic potatoes were overseasoned and pretty salty. But the made to order doughnuts were a fun experience. Very minimal wait for 2 people and staff was friendly.

Isn't all that. The greek food is for people who are having greek food for tge first time. Not regulars as its over priced and average cooked. Was hungry walking around seattle downtown with friends and thoguht about trying the place as it was the only place in that block to be packed. i dont really remember what i and friends ordered, but whatever we did it was quite average.

Would have received 5 stars but I think service needs to be better. When I walked in I was not acknowledged for at least 5 minutes. The hostess was on the phone and she didn't even make eye contact. Several servers passed me but also didn't acknowledge. I was feeling really weird so i walked to the bar and looked around that area and wasn't sure if I should seat myself anywhere around the bar (including outside) so I went back and stood in the entrance for a few more minutes until acknowledged by the hostess. She told me I could sit anywhere in the bar area. It took a moment for a server to then acknowledge me. Once I placed my order the food came quickly. The server actually kind of lost her balance and some of the food actually fell off the plate and landed on me. I am totally fine with that, but the weird thing was that she didn't even apologize. She probably felt embarrassed. There were a couple of other odd service things too. Anyways, the food is amazing. I got their freshly made pita and I am not exactly sure which spread I got but it was absolutely ........ amazing! I asked for whatever the most popular one was and I didn't catch exactly what the server said but damn it was good. I also got chicken kebabs (from the happy hour menu). Those were good. Not as good as whatever that amazing spread was though. I definitely can't wait to go back to the place to get more pita and dip and to try something else as well.

Great spot near downtown Seattle. Anything Tom Douglas is going to be a great experience. The doughnuts are a great starter for breakfast, and this is because of the vanilla bean marsopone cheese. The American breakfast is great because of the potatoes. My wife got the granola and that was really fantastic too!

I am vegetarian and they had pretty much options for me. They made veg egg Benedict for me. Though cudnt add mushrooms, only spinach and tomatoes. Their mediterranean dishes are must try. Different dips than we try usually. But a loong wait. We waited for an hour. I'd say it wasnt worth the wait. Other day i went to their sister branch across the road because of the wait. Dahlia. Its food was much better. They also customized the food as per our requirement. Lola wasnt that mich flexible

I came here for dinner and totally loved the food. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't really like Tom Douglas's Dahlia Lounge, but Lola was awesome! Our server was lovely, and very helpful with explaining the menu to us. We had pita with Tzatziki and fava skordalia spread. I thought the tzatziki was very refreshing, and the fava skordalia had a very strong flavor from the bleu cheese. We also had the split pea soup, which was just alright. Both the pork and chicken kebabs were so so so so tender, and the caramelized onions were so juicy with a hint of alcohol in it (loved it!). The marinated beets were flavorful, and paired nicely with polenta underneath. As for the main courses, we had spanakopita (the crust was nice and thick), roasted chicken (juicy), and spaghetti (my least favorite out from tonight's dinner). To finish, we had the coconut cream pie, which was not overwhelmingly sweet like in other restaurants, and it was just so rich and creamy! Overall, the food was great and very garlicky hahaha.

Maybe I had too high of expectations when I went to brunch with my sister, but I was disappointed by Lola for brunch. I had made a reservation for Friday brunch for 2 and the place was packed. Good thing we had it, otherwise we would have waited at least 30 minutes. We had our luggage with us and the hostess kindly stored it away for us. We were seated at one of the two person booths and it was a tad louder than anticipated and harder to make conversation. It took a while for us to get menus and order. I opted for the pancakes and my sister the Benedict. Once again they took a bit, but that may be due to the heavy amount of customers at the peak time. Still, when we received our food, it was just okay. Nothing stellar or our of this world, middle of the road really. And expensive for what you get. This isn't my top place to return to for brunch; maybe I'll try to come back for dinner in the future.

Good happy hour with handmade drinks and good list of apps. Breakfast is also good, must get the beignets.

If you come to Seattle, this place is a MUST! It's a really short walk from Pike Place Market if you are in the area. I was on a business trip so requested a table for 1. They said the wait was going to be 45 minutes. I almost fainted but I knew I had to try this place out so I stuck around. I actually only waited about 10 minutes. Everyone on Yelp raved about the eggs benny and made to order donuts so that's what I got. After I posted my obligatory Instagram pic, my friend commented on my pic to try eggs benny with the smoked salmon. TOO LATE! I wish I would've known before I ordered. But now you know! Potatoes were perfectly cooked and super crunchy. Dill hollandaise was on point. Loved the fresh dill on top. And the donuts?!?! OMG... imagine the pillsbury doughboy torn into pieces, fried and shaken in a bag of cinnamon and plopped onto a plate for you to devour. It was ooey gooey goodness! The berry sauce was tart and not to sweet and the cream so delish. I would just go back for the donuts. Mouth is salivating just thinking about it. Overall, this was a great culinary establishment. The only thing I didn't like was that the waiters and waitresses didn't seem very happy. This place would be 5 stars if the waitress was a little more personable. I'm eating here by myself, ask me how I'm doing and what I'm doing in town or something! And as for the staff, smile or say hello when you look at me! Though you are not helping my table, a small gesture will go a long way.

Thankful to of had tried three of Tom Douglas's places along 4th ave. The best part about this place is that they open at 6AM. We had an early morning and needed a morning ringer. I tried the eggs benedict, donuts, and a side of bacon. The English muffin under the eggs benedict was really goood and fluffy and thick. The eggs were poached perfectly. The hollandaise was okay because I'm not a huge fan of dill. The ham was a little salty. Those smashed potatoes though..... Drooools. The donuts that tasted similar to beignets were light and went well with both spreads. The bacon however tasted like jerky. It was really dry, thick cut bacon without a crisp to them. I wish I was there late enough to try their hummus. I love hummus.

Had breakfast here. It was a nice little place in downtown Seattle. The food was okay, I didn't find anything spectacular about my omelet. It was smaller in size and only had asparagus, eggs, and cheese inside. The bacon was overcooked and came as a side on the dish whereas I thought it'd be inside the omelet. My toasts were kind of hard. I'd have to say the laywout of the restroom was pretty amazing. Haha.

I liked this place. It was Super Bowl Sunday and my husband and I were walking around starving. It was so quiet outside the streets of downtown Seattle because most of them were indoors watching the ball game. After walking around Pikes market, we decided to go ahead and eat at Lola. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the market. Upon checking in, we were told that they would have a table ready for us in about 10 minutes. They asked us to wait at the hotel lobby which is right next door. Our table was ready quick and we were given a huge table in the back. I was thankful for the space because my husband, son and I could have a relaxing breakfast. I made sure to order the doughnuts right away because folks mentioned it so many times on yelp. Honestly these were just OK. I've had better but if you have a sweet tooth, you can definitely try these out. I had the Tom's big breakfast which consists of: mediterranean octopus, fingerling potatoes, baby carrots, melted leeks, bacon, urfa pepper, chives, garlic yogurt, poached egg and toast. This was good and too heavy. My husband and I loved it. The octopus was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Kopanisti spread which consists of pistachio*, mavrodaphne on the suggestion of our waitress and it did not disappoint. If you're in the mood for pita bread and a different choice of spread, I highly recommend this. My husband ordered the Squid crushed chili kebab and definitely enjoyed it. I think it's the first time we've seen a squid kebab on a menu so we had to try it. This was a great place! When I return to Seattle, I will definitely be back to Lola.

It was ok. I wasn't wowed by Tom Douglas. The staff was really sweet and the coffee was good but I could get the same food for half the price. I am increasingly becoming less impressed by "famous" chefs.

I visited Lola twice, one for brunch and the other was for lunch. The place is very busy but the food is worth it. Sometimes the service is not very friendly but I don't mind as long as the food is good. I would recommend the donuts, which is their signature dessert, and the salmon kababs. All in all, Lola is one of the best places I've been to in Seattle. It's a must visit.

Atmosphere is great! The decor is really warm and pretty. It is definitely not your 'mom and pop' tacky diner. This is upscale atmosphere and food. We all loved our food. The mushroom omelette was stuffed to the fills with mushrooms, and the potatoes were something that I could eat 10 pounds of. Their coffee is incredible. We take ours wih honey, and it was orange-blossom honey - YUM! Overall the breakfast food is to die for. The only reason this place lost a star is the service. It took awhile for our server to get to us. When she finally did, it seemed that we were somehow annoying her. We were still really pleasant. We were headed to the market after breakfast to browse and nosh, so my mom and I were going to split a (large) breakfast plate (generous portions!) our server did not like that one bit. I should not be able to tell that you are annoyed with a paying customer. We generously tipped her as if we had all ordered our own breakfast but I really didn't like that very much. Still, definitely worth a go, this place would be worth it even if our service had been terrible!

I ordered the 'Lola Breakfast' which came with two eggs, pork-maple sausage, smashed garlic fried potatoes and toast; this is your basic, typical American breakfast that will leave you happy and satisfied. My friend ordered the 'Eggs Benedict' and loved every bite of it. We also shared the 'Made to order doughnuts' which were heavenly and my favorite part about Lola. The doughnuts were warm and fluffy, and went perfectly with the seasonal jam and vanilla mascarpone. Came here for lunch on a weekday and had to wait about 20 minutes for a party of two. With almost 2000 reviews and Lola's growing popularity, I recommend making reservations in advance as it seems to be quite crowded throughout the day. The food is delicious but can be somewhat pricey for what you get. Lola has it all, an extensive menu (breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, happy hour, wine list, kid's menu) and I hope to have a chance to come back here to try other items from their menu. Lola is definitely a must try restaurant when visiting Seattle!

Food: -I got the lamb kebab with half salad and half potatoes (not on the menu but you can choose to get half of each). The lamb was delicious - a sweet, tangy sauce on it masked any strong lamb flavor so if you're hesitant to get lamb for that reason, don't be. Meat was very tender, not burnt at all. Comes with pita and delicious tzatziki. The salad was mostly tomato and cucumber with a lot of feta - absolutely delicious. The potatoes are interesting - it's like a smashed, fried potato that's crispy on the outside and softer on the inside. Nothing like a french fry though. It was quite salty but you can get ketchup and tabasco on the side. -Coconut cream pie: to die for. Not overly sweet, incredibly light, and the coconut shavings were perfectly toasted. So. Good. -Donuts: Eh....overhyped I think. They're good but not worth the price. I thought it was weird they didn't use powdered sugar but instead, grainier sugar that ended up mostly on the plate instead of the donuts. The jam and marscapone are really what you will taste. Service: -Make a reservation. My party of 8 would have had to wait forever for a table at lunch otherwise! The restaurant isn't huge. -Servers were nice and friendly, quite helpful. Atmosphere: -It is LOUD in here. Prepare to yell across the table if you're at a larger one. Not great for groups larger than 4-5 for this reason I think. Pricing: -Not incredibly expensive, but it's not cheap. I think the entrees were reasonable. -Donuts were expensive for what you get. Unless you have a major sweet tooth, you can probably skip it.

I'm sitting at the airport, waiting for my flight home and ALL I can think about is how sad I am to be leaving Lola's Eggs Benedict behind! Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to get home to my kids after our quick weekend away, but those eggs, that ham, the hollandaise, and that perfectly chewy yet perfectly crisp english muffin. OH EM GEE Tom Douglas, please bring your genius to SoCal! We need you, nay I need you. I LOVE you! My fav brunch food is Eggs Benedict so I've had a lot of it through the years, but none like the one they serve at Lola's. It will CHANGE YOUR LIFE! Okay, maybe I'm being a little dramatic, but this is seriously the BEST damn Eggs Benedict I've EVER had in my life! The hub and I only made one restaurant reservation for our short weekend getaway and it was so that I could try the famed donuts here at Lola's, but the Eggs Benedict stole the show. No, stole my heart! They're perfection on a plate! Plus they're accompanied by some freakin awesome potatoes that could be a perfectly satisfying meal in itself. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and oh-so perfectly seasoned. My mom who loves potatoes would flip over these. A good excuse to come again? The hub had the Lola Breakfast: two eggs, toast, smashed garlic fried potatoes (same as the ones that come with the eggs benedict) and bacon. Completely normal, boring, American style breakfast. Except it wasn't because of those addicting potatoes and the super tasty bacon. The donuts I came for were very good, but the eggs Benedict stole the show! We had the donuts as a "dessert" and I'm thinking maybe we should've had it as an "appetizer" instead. Lol I also did something I hardly ever do, order alcohol BEFORE noon! LOL. Hey, no kids means I'm able to enjoy some libations, uninhibited! I ordered the eye opener: rain city drip liquor, coca-cola, cream. DELICIOUS, subtle, refreshing. I'd totes get it again, even if I had the kids with me ;) So if you haven't been to Lola's, it's a MUST! If you're anywhere near here or can take some time off to come to Seattle, please visit Lola's and have their Eggs Benedict or you'll regret it, believe me. It's just THAT good :D

My go to breakfast place in the city. I love the eggs Benedict here. Their sausage is also delicious. I wish I could try their bloody Marys because they look phenomenal...but I don't drink. I've been here a number of time and service has always been fantastic -- attentive and informative. I suggest making a reservation here especially if you're coming with a group of 5+. The wait can be very long for large groups. However, you can hang out in the lobby of the adjacent hotel while waiting. It's very convenient.

I came here on a Saturday for brunch with no reservations and got seated right away. (Party of two) Originally we had planned to go to a different brunch place but it ended up being closed. This restaurant had good reviews on yelp, and now I can add to it! Friendly and attentive service, but prices are a bit expensive...it was $4 for a cup of coffee per person which I find a bit steep. I barely finished my cup. Order the eggs benedict!!! It's so good. The potatoes were also amazing, but as you know from previous reviews... i'm a huge potato lover to begin with. Portion sizes are huge ($18 for the plate) so I'm pretty sure if you don't finish the meal with leftovers then you will probably finish with a food baby. Overall I'd definitely recommend for a nice brunch spot!

Loved our dining experience at Lola! Our server was very attentive and provided excellent service. Too bad I didn't get her name. Anyway, our group had our minds set on getting the 3 most raved about items on their breakfast menu; 1. Made to order doughnuts- my friend simply said they were delightful! So warm and fluffy. Loved that it was lightly coated with brown sugar, and their jelly and cream was perfect! 2. Tom's Favorite Breakfast - who would have thought that octopus in the morning...I was a little iffy about it, but it turned out fine. Very tasty! 3. Eggs Benedict- this was my first time really having any kind of Benedict so I have nothing to compare it to. Their biscuits are freshly made in house, every morning. This was very good as well. 4. Lola Breakfast - if you want to play it safe, it's just toast, sausage and eggs. Still done right. Don't have many complaints here! One of the better dining experiences I had in Seattle and I would definitely come back for those doughnuts!!

My husband and I came here for brunch before we went on our hike. Didn't make reservation but we were there at 730am. I was surprised they asked if we had any reservations. Still no problem though ; we were seated when we got there. Both my husband ordered their egg benedict. I felt the egg benedict was okay. Nothing special about it. My husband enjoyed it. The special thing about it was that it has bavarian ham at the bottom. Overall to me this is an average brunch place.

Came here for brunch after reading the reviews about people raving about these doughnuts, so I had to see what the hype was (naturally). One order gives you 6 doughnuts which are freshly made in the back and the server put into a bag with powdered sugar and mixed in front of us. The two sauces the doughnuts come with are DELICIOUS. One was an apricot/peach spread and the other was a vanilla marscapone (MY ULTIMATE FAVORITE SPREAD). I could literally just eat the vanilla marscapone all day, it's honestly heaven in a cup. As for our main orders, I ordered the lamb kebob and the meat was tender and juicy. I was skeptical about how filling it would be, but I definitely wasn't hungry after finishing my plate. My friends ordered the squid kebob which our server recommended and they loved it as well. Overall, would come back. Great place to eat!

Well damn, this place was fantastic! I'm a first time Seattle visitor, but thanks to Yelp it was easy to find this great brunch spot near my hotel. I couldn't imagine needing a brunch reservation on a Sunday morning at 9am, but alas, wrong. Apparently people brunch earlier here than NYC. Fortunately there were a few empty bar area tables and they we're up for grabs, we snagged one. This also landed us Lori, possibly the best waitress I've ever had at a casual dining restaurant. She was helpful, funny and always there when we needed her. The food: The house made doughnuts. We weren't planning on getting them, but Lori with one sentence talked us into it, very easily. They were worth every calorie. Odd to be saying this, but my favorite dish out of what we had was the side of Greek yogurt. It was so creamy and not too tart, topped with jam and Greek flaky crunchy stuff. (No idea the actually name, but it was amazing) The egg dishes were all very good too, Lola breakfast, eggs Benedict and the sausage scramble were all on our table. The smashed garlic fried potatoes that came with the eggs were killer; crispy and flavorful. I'd absolutely recommend Lola to anyone visiting or in the area, in fact we told some girls in the elevator of our hotel to go. Another plus, you get a personal pot of coffee for your table if you order coffee so you don't ever have to worry about needing more.

We ordered the pita with olive and fig spread, Lola white wine, the lamb burger with chick pea fries, and the pork kabobs. Service was great. I enjoyed the wine. The lamb burger was dry but the groceries were grilled and tasty. The chick pea fries were interesting coated in corn meal and had a nice flavor but we're dry (not sure if there's a way around this), the roasted red pepper ketchup was sweet and mellow. I love olives, but the fig seeds got in the way in the spread. The pita was a bit dense. The kabobs were coated in Harissa and were super yummy but the portion size was tiny for the price. Overall a lot of the meal was dry, sauces helped though. Total cost $52.

Amazing brunch in Seattle. My friend heard about this place through another friend, so i trusted her instinct to eat here. We were a few blocks out and I didn't want to walk unless we knew we'd get a seat...the Seahawks were in a playoff game so fans were everywhere...we were concerned for wait times. My friend called Lola to see if we walked in how long the wait would be -- she said 15-20 minutes. So we walked, and when we go there to check in, the hostess said it'd be a 45 minute wait...wtf? It extended an extra 25 minutes after a 5 minute walk? IMPOSSIBLE...whatever. So we waited in the hotel lobby for a few minutes before I realized that we were able to sit in the bar area. Unfortunately they were backless bar stools facing the window..but eventually it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Our waitress was the best! She was an older woman who really knew how to put on a fun show while "Can I offer you some water? Pacific northwest's finest tap water" haha. I had the basic breakfast of potatoes, eggs, sausage, toast...but it wasn't so basic. It was delicious apple sausage, smashed potatoes (laid flat, well seasoned) - it was amazing. She even offered sausage, bacon or BOTH?! What??? People never offer both. Great brunch place! It can get crowded, but if you have the time, it may be worth the weight.

I honestly am flabergasted by the other reviews. Clients booked us for lunch, the noise level was so high we could not hear each other. The food was bland and small. Lamb kebab tasted nothing like lamb, and had a sticky sauce on top. The beetroot appetizer was good but its hard to mess us beetroot.....and the whole think for 4 was $120 not cheap and we had no alcohol. Methinks there are much better places to eat in Seattle.

Wow, I'm glad I walked into this place. Great place for breakfast! I was walking buy and it smelled good and wanted to give it a whirl. Food: Scrambled eggs, cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Potatoes- Cooked and seasoned very well Toast- Fresh artisan bread, great texture and taste. Bacon- HOLY SCHMOLLY!!!! This was the best bacon I've ever had for breakfast. Thick and DELICIOUS! Fresh doughnut with vanilla cream and huckleberry jam. These were really good, probably not worth $9 for six but, it was good. Service: Our server was really nice, we sat at the bar so we didn't have to wait 45 mins for a booth. The seats at the bar were comfortable and our server was great. He made sure all of our drinks remained full and we had everything we needed. Try Lola out and try not to sing "Lola" by the Kinks. unless you have a beautiful voice then sing away!

Tip: Make Reservations and arrive early enough to find parking! I had a latte to start which was delicious. I ordered the eggs Benedict with the dill hollandaise. It was perfectly seasoned and served with garlic potatoes. It usually comes with bacon but I was able to get sautéed greens as I do not eat pork! I'm happy thy are so accommodating We got the beignets which were served piping hot with raspberry jam and vanilla marscapon- these were my favorite! So light and airy Will be back soon

Lola. L-O-L-A Lola. This place is okay, but there are better options in Seattle, even within the Tom Douglas family of restaurants (which is large and ever expanding). The main courses here were so-so and definitely not worth the fairly high price point. Actually what I remember the most from this meal was the pita bread and the variety of spreads, which were actually delicious. I'd recommend looking at Dahlia Lounge across the street for a better experience, but if you end up here, you won't be disappointed. Food: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5

Donuts Hands down, the best donuts! I couldnt help rolling my eyes back from the euphoric taste. The donuts came in about seven bite size squares with rhubarb jam and vanilla mascarpone on the side. I layered each donut with the mascarpone and topped it with a pinch of rhubarb. Tom's Favorite Breakfast Mediterranean octopus, winter squash, leeks, fresno chili, bacon, sage, garlic yogurt, vadouvan, poached egg, and a toast on the side. My friend loved it, but I thought it was okay as it tasted a bit bland to me. I would hope the sage and garlic yogurt flavors would be bold. Bloody Mary Although the bloody mary was decent, it was missing the spicy taste. Service was decent, wait was not ridiculous for the weekend.

We stopped here for breakfast and IT WAS AMAZING! Seriously delicious high quality food. We ordered the Lola breakfast and Tom's favorite breakfast. It was SO good. I can still taste it weeks later. Everything was fresh and delicious. I never have seen a breakfast meal that included octopus, but I'm definitely swayed now. I would say it's best to have a small party with you since it gets super busy during main breakfast hours (esp on weekends). THIS IS WORTH THE WAIT! (and if it's not, go across the street to the Dahlia's Bakery - but that's another story)

Extremely disappointed with this breakfast. It makes me sad to have to give this place such a bad review after looking forward to this visit from Portland. I have to admit; Portland spoils me. The bar is set high. I'm not even sure how I ended up with two stars. We had 8:15 reservations, but I wish we would have just walked in later to be seated without the only available reservation from the previous night. Service wasn't super friendly, even though she did the duties around her job just fine. My omelette had WAY too much goat cheese. Overpowering is an understatement. The asparagus had tough ends inside as well. The bacon was salty leather. The potatoes were the most edible thing on the plate, and the least interesting thing to me for breakfast. He got pancakes that were very standard in taste and presentation. For the price tag that this breakfast came with, this was a travesty. Save your money and appetite for a better breakfast place. You will thank me later.

Ordered breakfast from here as take-out one morning. Service was great, ordered on the phone, picked it up in 15 minutes. We shared the donuts and the Lola Breakfast. Two of us sharing that was perfect, potatoes are heavy and delicious! We really enjoyed the donuts, you shouldn't miss them. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but the mascarpone cheese is to die for. Really enjoyed it as a morning treat, would have been even better first thing out of the fryer I bet, but we take what we can get since we brought it back home. The Lola Breakfast was pretty normal. Eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, potatoes. I followed one of the reviews here, get half and half if you can't decide which to get! The sausage was good, although a bit small. Bacon was thick cut but a bit salty and over cooked for my liking. Potatoes were salty but good, a bit conflicted on them. They were really good if you can get over the salt! Eggs weren't anything crazy, but the bread was delicious. All in all, a good take out breakfast. Not sure if it was worth the hefty pricetag of $30 though, but maybe on a special occasion it'd be nice to come back!

Went to Lola's for breakfast. Yelpers: the breakfast was very good ! However, it is an expensive breakfast place. Very expensive. So if you are ok with $40+ for bacon, eggs, bread and potatoes go for it. Great food but pricey. Id give 5 stars if it were more reasonably priced.

Went here at noon on a Friday when they were fairly busy. We had the summer squash scramble and the Eggs Benedict. The food was good, but their service stole the show. They were wonderfully friendly, and had that awesome level of attentiveness where your water glass never goes empty. The staff was also accommodating of the modifications we made on our food orders. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and they brought out a sweet little candle donut for her too (delicious). I'm thrilled with the service here, especially during such a busy time of day.

Lola's is our go-to breakfast place in Seattle. Service is always good, we call in our way in from Issaquah every time and they let you put your name in over the phone which is really nice. I always get the Lola Breakfast but get half bacon and half sausage and there is no additional charge! Donuts are great as always. There will generally be a wait for breakfast on weekends but out of most breakfast places - it's been the most worth it.

My husband took me here for our anniversary breakfast, I ordered the Toms favorite breakfast and that octopus was the best octopus I have ever tasted! I didn't even know Octopus could be this good. Not rubbery at all, almost melts in your mouth. The mini donuts with jam were also really delicious, slightly crispy on the outside, and soft and hot on the inside.

Another 5 stars for this amazing place! Favorite place for brunch in Seattle. This time I had Toms Favorite a Breakfast. Holy cow! Best breakfast dish I've ever had in my life! And you can't forget the donuts!! I can't eat a bag by myself

If you love Greek food then this is a MUST try. I loved the whole setting and layout of the place with little hints of detailing all around. If you love Tom Douglas restaurants than you'll love this one as well. My boyfriend and I came here for their brunch on a Saturday. We ordered their Eggs Benedict, Lamb Kababs, Sugar Donuts, and a side of Maple Sausage. IT WAS BOMB. You'll always see this place packed so I highly advise to book a reservation beforehand. :)

The donuts were good, and the octopus breakfast deal was decent as well. I think the real winner was their vanilla mascarpone, though, which suggests that unless you're filling up on just donuts, probably find a different restaurant. Real rating: 3.5

MUST TRY DISH: Tom's Favorite Breakfast. I had a great experience at Lola. The waitress was very friendly and the two dishes we ordered were delicious but the best dish would have to be the Tom's Favorite Breakfast. The other dish we ordered was the Crab Benedict and it was delicious but not as good as the Tom's Favorite Breakfast. If you love your Brunch dates with friends or family, I would definitely check this place out!

Didn't get to try the donuts that everyone on yelp was posting pictures of, but everything we tried were still delicious. For drinks, we ordered a Golden Girl and a Downtown Mai Tai (both were great). For appetizers, we ordered one of the spreads with pita. There wasn't enough pita, so it didn't seem worth $4.75. The spread was good, but next time I would save the $ and order donuts at the end. We also got the smashed garlic fried potatoes. They tasted like uncut french fries. Very flavorful and slightly crunchy on the outside. The portabella, oyster mushroom kebab was so delicious. It came with only 3 kebabs, so I thought $13.75 was a bit pricey. We also ordered "Grandma Dot's greek spaghetti". That was more filling and still great the next day!

Great place for brunch on the weekend! The breakfast/lunch menu is superb and customer service is first class! The dinner menu leaves much to be desired though, a little pricey for what is provided.

Decent breakfast joint...service was a bit slow on Easter Sunday but overall the food is tasty (a bit pricey) and the fried fresh donut bites amazing. Seriously, just get a few plates of those and it becomes completely worth it!

Fantastic brunch. Had the famous eggs Benedict and the donuts to start. The jam and the spread for the donuts are divine. The coffee is great too. Eggs Benedict is a meal! And the flatten potatoes are worth saving space for.

So we tried their omelette and the Made to Order doughnuts and they were really delicious. The doughnuts were awesome, they come with marshmallow paste that's amazing. I am pork intolerant so the menu didn't have much for me because they don't serve beef or turkey bacon. The only downside was the waitress. She brought us the check as soon as we put the forks down. It felt like we were being kicked out politely although we didn't stay for longer than 20 mins anyway.

Ordered the sampler plate: great mix of flavors. Unique dolmas with bright flavors. Lovely space, charming vintage style light fixtures, attentive service.

First visit. We were there for brunch. Waited for about 30-45 minutes to get seated. There were 5 of us; the long wait was understandable. I had Eggs Benedict, which was divine. One of my poached eggs was a little overdone. I thought the food, overall, was a little salty. Side potatoes were amazing! I also tasted the sausage that came with the pancake plate. To my surprise, it was a little sweet. So goooooood! During our meal, we saw the donut plates delivered to every table around us. Must be THAT good. We just didn't have any more room in our stomachs. Overall: Good food, but pricey. Eggs Benedict and Pancakes plate = $35.

Came here for brunch on a recommendation. They were busy but seated us. We waited 20 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us, then gave up and left. We looked at other patron's meals on our way out: small portions, boring dishes, and very expensive. If you can hoof it 10 blocks towards Capitol Hill, there's a much better place for brunch called Terra Plata - excellent food and far fewer tourists.

The worse experience of dinner in Seattle 1. overpriced: less than 4oz kebab for around 17 dollars. 2. overcooked kebab... or to say they are not consistent: some were juicy but rest of them were totally burnt.. 3. Almost no flavor in the meet... Will not be back any more.. 特么是不是这些评价都是靠早餐刷出来的,特别晚饭烂成翔,并不好吃

The restaurant is definitely a popular brunch spot and I can totally see why! We ordered the infamous eggs benedict, omelette w/asparagus and fresh doughnuts! Our dishes came with smashed potatoes (I usually don't care for potatoes) but I actually ate it all because they're that good! Everything was simple yet so perfect! I can't wait to come back and try other dishes:) Friendly place (super nice waitress) but I docked a star because when checking in, one of the hostess helped the couple behind us first. Another hostess helped us a few moments after, but I didn't appreciate being rudely ignored =\

Solid solid 4 stars for great eats and service. Man the Berkshire sausage is unbelievable but you have to have the Greek yogurt or another dish to go with it as the sausage is rich and so flavorful. The home made granola is unreal with whipped yogurt. Lori (donut whisperer) suggested the mix and was awesome in recommendations and willing to split the eggs Benedict into 2 plates and the pancakes as well. The coffee is good, so is the cappucino. Very different and very good food. I can't wait to try the lamb burger and other excellent items on this menu. This place has a good casual feeling without feeling rushed. A good hangout if you want. And because of other parts of this restaurant I am upping this to a rare 5 stars. A very nice gem in downtown!

Rating: 3.5 I have to say that this place was O.K. I came here for lunch and I ordered both the Salmon and Chicken Kebabs. I have to say that both the Salmon and Chicken were quite good, but the sides that came with them were lacking. First, the potatoes did not have much flavor and did not live up the expectations I had for them. They were still decent though. Next, the bread that came with the meal was also just decent in my opinion. Maybe it's just that it wasn't really my style, but who knows. The service was pretty good, with my waitress often coming to ask if we needed anything and making sure our food came out quickly. Overall, this place isn't bad and I would recommend if you were looking for some local mediterranean food.

The donuts were absolutely amazing but I had the chicken skewers and they were undercooked. I was also unhappy with the service

So I'm writing a quick update on my experiences. During busy days, go for the bars to get a seat. It usually doesn't take too long. I've noticed that compared to my first time going to Lola like a year ago, the beignets are a $1 more expensive. I've also noticed that the portion size for kebabs are smaller. The price to food ratio isn't impressing me, but it still is good food. I'll just be reducing the number of visits here. Other than that, great customer service & environment.

Definitively a must when you are in Seattle. Today happens to be Sunday and long wait times are expected like any other good brunch place, but usually not too bad if it is any other business day. Love the ambiance, and oh man the sugar-covered doughnuts!!!!!!! The servers are very attentive and efficient. Overall a good place to get your morning started. FYI: make sure to make a reservation if you are planning on coming on a Sunday morning. We have been waiting for over an hour just to be seated.

Mediterranean brunch, who would have thought?!! Opentable only allowed a late lunch reservation so I called and was able to get on the waiting list on a Sat morning. I arrived 45 mins later and was seated right away. So nice that you don't have to be there to wait! *Sam's Big breakfast: I love octopus so I had to order this. Sliced octopus with veggies, a toast and poached egg. Very tasty. Not your typical brunch item but it worked. *Egg benedict: very big portions of eggs, thick slices of ham on top of homemade English muffins. Can't go wrong with that. *Made to order donuts: I'm not a huge fan of donuts...bit these were so light and good!!!! I liked how the waitress brought them in a paper bag, shook some sugar out through the bag and then let them out to our plate. She also said we got lucky as they usually are six of them but we got seven. Nice atmosphere and good service complemented our visit. Yelp 100 Challenge! 2015: 36/100

The service was super good!! The people were polite and although it was packed, since I called I early I got seated right away. My friend and I had the "Toms favorite hash" and "egg Benedict" which were the two recommended breakfast dishes, both were amazing. Our waitress could already tell we were sharing the dish and split it for us before it came. I was too full to try have dessert by I'll definitely be coming back!

Husband and I went there on recommendation from hotel staff. We were told when we arrived 35-40 min wait. Hostess said better to make reservations on weekends. Being from out of town we didn't know. However we looked outside and asked if we could sit at a vacant table out there. She immediately wiped it off and sat us. Fresh fruit was amazing as well as the entire breakfast. Eggs Benedict and summer squash eggs. I must say though, their roasted potatoes are out of this world!

Pretty pricey here, but really enjoyed the food. The eggs benedict was probably one of the best I ever had! The donuts here are made fresh, coated in sugar, and served with a cream and jam spread. Six little pieces for $10 was a bit overpriced in my opinion, but it was still nice to try.

What a fun brunch! Donuts make you go nuts! Fresh, light, and made to order. Tom's favorite breakfast is a brunch game changer. Grilled octopus with veggies and poached eggs. Just try it. If you're in search of something new for breakfast, the search is over. I love how you can order half portions so you don't overeat/overspend and get to try a little of everything!

This is a must stop I'm Seattle for breakfast! The mashed fried potatoes are extraordinary! Please order a glass of their cucumber lemonade. Delicious, light and refreshing. I love this place so much I now stay in the Andres Hotel so I need only walk downstairs in the morning. Additionally, the tapas style dinners are fantastic and thoughtfully created, allowing you to either nibble before a show or eat a full course. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Seattle!!

In 2009, I stayed in the Hotel Andra where Lola is located. I was super excited to try their donut dessert that had been featured by Alex Guarnaschelli on "The Best Thing I Ever Ate". One night I ordered them via room service. I have to say 6 years later I still think about those donuts. The donuts were beautiful and crispy on the outside and airy pillows on the inside. The raspberry jam was very good, but the whipped cream was absolutely beautiful. Very pleased with them, someday maybe I'll break down and head back over to Lola now that I live in the area.

Donuts! Donuts! Donuts! Need I say more? Delicious, fresh donuts that melt in your mouth. One of the handful of places where Eggs Benedict (substituted ham with greens) was spot on! Pleasant service.
