Arrived at the airport Early & needed a good breakfast after the TSA check through. We found this cafeteria at the terminal & when for it. I had Artichoke Strata & Muffuletta with one Oatmeal Cookie & Wife had Turkey Sandwich. We share the Strata that was Awesome ( must have if you are at this place ) Muffuletta was Good but not as good as the Strata. Wife Turkey Sandwich was OK. The Oatmeal Cookie was save for later, we were to full. Place was nice & clean & had a GOOD Breakfast.

I thought it was terrible. I have walked by this place about 100 times and never stopped and now I know why. I got the mile high Sandwith and it was soggy, flavorless and just not good Go to beechers inside the security as its much better

I was told that the better food options were in this gate rather than the gate my flight was leaving from. The menu is pretty simple. Panini's style sandwiches and salads both are pretty made. And there is no substitutions (BOO, I really wanted the grilled cheese with chicken). I ordered the turkey Florentine (turkey, 3 leaves of spinach, A SLICE of cheese and some spread on whole grain bread) the sandwich was barely grilled and semi soggy. The lemonade is made to order. The cashier rang me up and called my drink order to her co worker who yelled back "I'm busy!" I thought was a joke. Until I realized I just spent 10 minutes checking emails and and still no lemonade. The cashier finally left her post to make it. Good thing I had a 2 hour layover.

If you're a health nut at the airport then you probably cringe at McDonalds and all the other high calorie, overly cheesey and greasy options at the airport. But don't be too disheartened because Dish D'lish serves healthier options at the airport. Now I love all food - healthy and not but today I was particularly hoping for something light before I took flight (my stomach can't handle heavy food and flying). So we stopped by here and took a look at their options. My partner decided to go with a turkey basil pesto panini. They also serve an assortment of breakfast sandwiches. In their refrigerator case they have some sandwiches such as tuna salad, chicken tarragon and thoughtful turkey. Most of these come on wheat or whole grain bread. I chose the thoughtful turkey which also had basil pesto, red pepper hummus, arugula and cucumber. I also got a berry parfait to share and it comes with vanilla fat free yogurt, northwest berries and granola. Now like any other airport place, it's overpriced. In total it was around $22 and I would normally not pay that much for the amount of food they gave. But it tends to be that healthier options usually cost more and the airport can charge more cause people gotta eat. The panini looked as if it needed more filling but was decent. My sandwich was actually pretty good and tasted hearty. The parfait though was way too sweet. The syrup at the bottom could have been toned down and the granola was almost sickeningly too much sugar. However, I was glad we could get a lighter option before boarding and taking out. I'm glad they have fresh fruit and salads here as well. So if you're looking for something light, healthy, and hearty, this is the place to go.

A little over ten bucks for a 20oz water and a sandwich. I know airport food generally isn't very good, so this is actually a good option, all things considered. The sandwiches are pre-made, but are pressed when ordered, so you get your food pretty quickly. I got the Turkey Club, and didn't really taste any of the sauce that was supposedly on it ... I wound up dipping the second half of my sandwich in mustard and ketchup because of that. It's a little expensive for what you get, but again, it's an airport. I did end up full for the next several hours before dinner, so I can't really complain too much about the value. It's decent food.

One of the better choices here at SeaTac. Had the turkey & salami with pesto and peppers.

Sea-Tac has definitely stepped up its game when it comes to dining and shopping options at an airport. Kathy Casey's Dish D'Lish at the central marketplace is case and point where they bring airport food to another level. It's grab and go options are really great to take on the plane and while your fellow passengers are stuck eating cold and soggy sandwiches for $15 you could be enjoying your Kathy's Special that was only $9. The menu is pretty simple and straight forward. You won't be wow'd by anything there but they have a good array of items and their Kathy Favorite is my go to item. Its a simple sandwich with chicken, jam, sweet onions and more that makes you lick your fingers after but not smell up the cabin. Service is a little lackluster, but what do you expect? You're at an airport for crying out loud and the goal of many spots is to get you on your way quickly! Plus...you wouldn't want to miss your flight over a sandwich right?

I love Dish D'Lish! It's the one place I can go to at SeaTac Airport for nutritious, delicious food. Their Asian Chicken salad is refreshing and satisfying. Recently I had their Chicken Ceasar salad and now that's my new go to meal. I'd love to have the recipe so I could make it at home. Kathy Casey does a fabulous job. I wish she had more locations in and out of airports so I could enjoy healthy, delicious food on the go.

I went here and bought some hard boiled eggs and sat down to eat. When I cracked the egg the egg was spoiled so I asked to exchang it and she smiled and said that will be $ 2.70. I told her again the egg was rotten and she smiled and shook her head and said that would be $2.70 dear. Never going back

Such a wonderful place!!!! I can't wait to fly home and get some food to take home home to my wife! I had the turkey florentine and a chocolate chip cookie, the sandwich was hot and gooey and the cookie was nice and soft. It was very busy and there was a long line but it moved quickly and was worth the wait. The staff was friendly and all working very hard. Nice job!

Disappointed... My favorite Egg Florentine sandwich now comes daubed with unwelcome mayonnaise and rubber eggs. I ate the eggs and one slice of bread for $8 (I was facing a 5 hour flight) and tossed the rest. Going to have to find a new staple now that Waji's won't make my beloved fried rice for breakfast.

Wanted something for breakfast before our flight. ATMOSPHERE: They're a cafe-style restaurant located in the main terminal wing. The panini-style sandwiches are all prepped and refrigerated so all they do is heat them up on the press. They also have cold sandwiches and all types of coffees. BEVERAGE: Cafe mocha - Great taste. Not overly sweet. FOOD: Egg bacon & cheese sandwich - It's a thicker white bread with sesame seed crust done in the panini press. It was damn good! Being a light breakfast eater, I ate half and took the other half on the plane. SERVICE: The ladies were all friendly, smiley and patient. There wasn't a line so our food & beverages were served immediately. OVERALL: Really good food with average prices.

The food is overpriced and not good. I ordered s tuna melt and bought s water. Barely edible was the tuna melt and the water that is in the cooler is actually warmer than room temp. First time visiting and last.

Let's be honest - nobody expects to eat decent food at the restaurants located in an airport - which made it all the more surprising that I discovered Dish D'Lish on a recent trip through the Seattle Airport. But seventy seven reviews couldn't ALL be wrong, could they? Not hardly. I tried the mile high turkey club sandwich and was quite pleased - fresh and tasty - FAR too good to be sold at the airport. Seriously good sandwich. The thing that I will keep dreaming about, though, is the toffee s'mores cookie. It was THAT GOOD, though quite messy-melty in all its deliciousness. I was on a schedule and had to take my food to go to eat at the gate, but the decor of the restaurant was very upscale and trendy and they had plenty of fun products displayed for purchase. This is DEFINITELY your best option for food at this airport!

  • Joyce J.

I was trying to find something decent to eat at Seatac and one review recommended Dish D'Lish. I have not had the pressed sandwich from here, although I have walked passed by the main concourse location many times. I ordered Kathy's favorite pressed sandwich and it was really good for airport food. The price is on par with other airport food.

They were out of the grilled cheese. They serve this disgusting "enhanced water"--pro tip: the enhancement is aspartame, so the title is questionable. Eww. The sandwich I got was okay, not great. It's the only decent choice before security that I saw, so I was stuck with it, but not very happy about it. They have some seating around but there's some distinction between staying and getting food to go.

  • Kimberly M.

So nice to find healthy, fresh food in an airport! I picked up pre-sealed cups of cucumber/ onion salad and tomato/ mozzarella salad. A little under $5 each, and I loved that I could throw them in my purse and go!

  • Aaron H.

For an expensive airport restaurant this place is alright. It's crowded but the sandwich I had really hit the spot. It was grilled wheat bread with bacon eggs and cheddar. Wife liked her soup and cold tuna sandwich.

I've been frequenting this restaurant for over 2 1/2 years. It is such a relief to find an airport store that actually has healthy food. Especially one that has many gluten free and vegan options. The food is always great. The salads are well seasoned and not over dressed, the sandwiches are amazing (the Turkey Florentine is my go-to), the muffins are always moist and never over cooked, and the hand shaken sparkling lemonades are a must have for summer time! The staff has it together, even when it is busy, and you never wait more than 5 minutes for your food.

    (5)
  • Jeff M.

Awful service, awful microwaved cheese sandwich, awful cous cous salad where the chickpeas were uncooked! Gah! Oh, did I mention I spent 17$ dollars on this bullshit? Go anywhere else in the airport. I like the wine place next door.

8$ for their best sandwich that tasted like old plasticky food

If you love grilled cheese sandwiches then order the Ultimate Grilled Cheese here. It's superbly tasteful!!! Would make a trip to the airport just for this. I only have a 4 star rating cause this is all I ate there.

This is always our go-to place when traveling. Love the breakfast options (as we usually take early flights) and the food is always fresh and delicious! The staff is very attentive and always keep the selections stocked and ready. We will be eating here again the next time we fly out!

  • Jayne A.

Bored at Seatac? Long layover? Craving a delicious cookie? Well you came to the right place. Holy crap, the chocolate toffee s'mores cookie here is amazing. It has the consistency of not only a cookie but also brittle since the toffee they use melts onto the wax paper it was baked on which leaves a caramel crust. I am not really sure if they used marshmallows in the cookie despite it being called a "s'mores" cookie but I had no problem with the way the cookie ended up. I didn't try/look anything else since I was distracted by this beautiful cookie.

This is my go-to place when there is a delay and I need some nutritional food.Seatac airport has a lot of fast food options, which makes sense because usually everyone is in a rush to catch a flight. Thankfully, Dish D' Lish offers the convenience of fast food without the sacrifice of quality. I have been to both of the store locations, one before security and one after, and have had similar, pleasant service. The employees are very nice and helpful. I have tried a few of their sandwiches, mostly the cold ones available to grab and go. I have never been disappointed. A few other things I would recommend are the broccoli salad, the lemonades, and the Justin's peanut butter bar.

I think this is one of the better choices considering what's at the airport at seatac. I tried this place for the first time because I was hungry and didn't want to go for the fish and chips or heavy italian or chinese, etc. It was quite cute and quiet. The line moved fairly quickly and I got an egg, cheese, sausage panini to go. The lady was very nice and she toasted the panini beautifully. It was delicious but SUPER heavy, not an ideal meal before a plane ride. I seriously had a mocha from Dilettante, and this sandwich at 11am and didn't want to eat until the next day. This is however good news if you're hungry and want to stay full, I was certainly not hungry anymore that entire day as the panini is deceptively large. It was around $8 for my breakfast sandwich which is much more than what I'd like to pay, but oh well you're at the airport so they can do whatever they want to you. I'd come back here again for their other sandwiches maybe and to not sit in the large, noisy and chaotic food court nearby.

$5 for a small cup of quinoa salad. Expensive, not very tasty, not very filling. I should have just brought some vegetarian snacks from home. For the same price you could have an apple, yogurt and granola from a grocery store. For airport food this place will do. But it doesn't do much...

Really good food! I loved my bacon Strata and the kids shared a gourmet grilled cheese and said it was DELICIOUS! Well done!

I can't believe that, with all the time I've spent flying through the Seattle airport, I've let Dish D'Lish slip past me. Don't make the same mistake, Yelpers! After sizing up my options in the main food court last week, I gave up and turned to Yelp--only to find that, just around the corner from all the red and orange signage sits a white and silver oasis that is the Double D. Because the seating is for customers only, ... you can find a place to sit! It's genius. Food is solid. Mostly sandwiches and salads, but also strata, smoothies, and tasty desserts. Snacks are perfect, especially if you're preparing for a cross-country or trans-Pacific flight. They offer fresh marinated cucumber salads, and the old-standby of veggie crudite w/ (homemade!) ranch for dipping. Airport food is never "great," but Dish D'lish makes it possible to arrive at your destination feeling energized, as opposed to bloated and sluggish.

For breakfast, this is my go to place. The Egg Florentine sandwich is really great. It has Spanish, cheese and egg. One sandwich is kind of too much for someone, but I never split it. The coffee sucks. I usually drink it anyway. I've not had much else, I'm addicted to the Florentine.

Before going through security and boarding my flight to shanghai, I decided to eat since I had 3 hours to go. Bad decision , ordered the turkey florentine, the turkey was extremely dry , bread tasted stale. Had the banana nut muffin, same thing, it just seemed that it was cooked 4 days ago. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing since I noticed a lot of people ordering the muffuletta. I might give this a place another try, chances are very slim. Food is airports is unfortunately better served at restaurants post security check.

While flying back home on our trip, my partner was hungry, and surveying the area of food choices, we finally turned around and decided to park our butts at this food vendor. Sea-Tac airport can be pretty big, and with a variety of food choices by looking at what they served, it looked pretty good. They serve a variety of panini's and soups here, and we decided to go for their seasonal soup. Looking for something good to eat at an airport can be hard to find, and what was around this stall was an Ivar's, Wendy's, and some generic Japanese stall, and a wine bar (but we weren't in for the booze!) and then there was this place. They seemed to promote good, clean eating, and we ordered. You can't really mess up the look of soup, and to hungry eyes, anything looks good, but when we tried it, I can say that there was a ton of sodium in this thing. I thought it was the crackers I was eating but my partner was the first to confirm this. This place is practically a diner, you line up, you pay, you pick up your food, and you sit. I noticed that they don't have any tv, so if your in for entertainment, this is not the place for you. I see they sell some healthy food books and other food options as well.

This place is pretty good for airport food, although it is pricey!! I was immediately attracted by the fact that there are some booths and good sit-down restaurants, plus it's a bit more away from the bigger restaurants in the central terminal of the airport. I wanted to order one of the panini's, but for some odd reason...they had absolutely none of them that day and it was prime lunchtime! So instead, I opted to get a strata (it's a unique egg bake w/ cheese and bread), roasted artichoke and tomato soup, plus a handshaken pomegranate lemonade. The food was much better than a lot of other airport places and overall, I liked it...but I probably wouldn't come here again because it was pricey - I paid about $20 and the cup of soup was pretty small! I do like the fact that they have a pastry display here (similar to Panera Bread), where you can buy cookies! I also bought some toffee cookies and they were SUPER chewy and delicious!!! I would probably come back here for those cookies! The service here really sucks, but that's a given at the airport. I asked the cashier here if he could bring my food to my table, since I had a ton of baggage on me and didn't want to leave it unattended...and he actually said no! So much for chivalry, I guess.

Healthy and delish' in my opinion the healthiest place to eat at SeaTac!

  • Jackie H.

After looking through a bunch of reviews, I decided to try this place out of all the different choices available SeaTac. Dish D'Lish is owned by local Seattle celebrity chef Kathy Casey. The restaurant looks very modern, and the music choice reminds me slightly of Starbucks but with foreign songs. It's definitely a nice place to relax with a meal in terms of comfy chairs and nice ambience. However, perhaps it was the poor choices I made in food (chicken noodle soup and cous cous salad), but I didn't feel like the food is as good as the SeaTac website touts. The cous cous salad felt a little one-note, while the soup tasted slightly sweet. Service here isn't the greatest either. The server was very short with me and very unfriendly, making me feel incredibly unwelcome. If I hadn't been so tired, I may have chosen to eat at another establishment. I'll possibly come back here next time to try the sandwiches (hopefully the servers are nicer next time), but for the time being, Dish D'Lish is rather mediocre in my book.

This is a decent sand wish shin dig at the airport. Very nice atmosphere and never crowded. Try the tuna meltdown....it melted my hunger away. They have all kinds of other sandwiches including breakfast....and it looks pre-made...use caution. Not heavy on the stomach at all.

  • Alyse H.

I look forward to Dish D'Lish whenever I fly through Seatlle. In fact, Dish D'Lish is one of the reasons I think the Seatlle Airport has the best food compared to any other airport in the country. I always get a Tuna melt (and I ask for the bread and butter pickles to put on top) and a lemonade. They have the best lemonade ever. They have many different flavors, but I love the original so much that I have never ventured out to other flavors.

  • Jill E.

I've eaten in just about every spot in the Seattle airport - maybe we travel too much who knows, but since you don't get anything on the plane now, always eat first. Several times I haven't been hungry so just want a sandwich to take out. The sandwiches to go are expensive and all the ones I've had while the ingredients sound good - they are always dry. This place is one of the most expensive in the airport and has probably the lowest quality of both service and and food.

  • Michelle B.

Their yogurt parfaits have kept me from passing out on more than one trans-con flight. The airlines don't supply food anymore (and really, if they did, would you eat it?) so my blood sugar gets low and before I pass out I get cranky...so, really I ought to say that their yogurt parfaits have kept me from getting arrested by the TSA on more than one occasion. Potato pohtahtoh, really. The cups are machine sealed the same way bubble tea is sealed up tight so you can just throw it in your bag and not worry about it spilling. However, you should probably poke a little hole in it before take-off because if you wait the damn cup fills up with air (or some other physicsy thing) and when you go to puncture it - KABOOM!!! And your attempts to avoid an emergency landing are thwarted. Who cares though - at least you have a delicious snack!

  • Valentina V.

We love this place...it makes me smile to see they carry tiny individual wrapped Tillamook Cheddar cheese slices, and hard-boiled eggs...I still have to try the famous parfaits, but it happens that I'm always there for breakfast so yogurt itself doesn't make it for the next 5 or 6 hours flying the friendly skies...their hot pressed sandwiches are delicious pockets of butter and stuff and STUFF that taste SO good, you don't even care you're maybe welcoming around a 1,000 calories into your already voluptuous body, or making a generous contribution for raising those pesky cholesterol levels to dangerous, dangerous, dangerous! The only downside is more a personal thing than anything else related to the place itself: eating at Dish D'Lish is always a sad thing for me and Ryan...it happens right before I fly back home to ATL...and the dude stays in Seattle. Snif, snif... I usually drink their dark chocolate mocha and feel happy. It keeps up to the level of Seattle coffee standards.

On a cold, wet, December day we go to meet someone at the airport and we go on time because the Sea-Tac website says the plane is on time, and the DOT traffic cams show no congestion ,so we leave only half an hour before the flight is scheduled to arrive, but of course once we get there the flight board NOW shows the plane is running 2 hours late. Well fuck me. "I'm hungry," says the teen daughter. The Dish to the rescue. The food here is good. We got ham and cheese grilled sandwiches hot from the press, fresh, not-too-sweet lemonade and big gooey cookies and tried to make the meal last for 2 hours. This is THE place to eat when you're waiting to pick someone up from the airport and don't mind trading cafeteria type seating for good, solid food. Bonus points for the guy wandering the airport dressed up in a homemade, green felt Christmas tree outfit with green tights and white tennis shoes carrying a sign that read 'Bring Back the Christmas Trees.' Nothing like a little entertainment to go with your meal.

OK first of all I made a Yelp account just to give this place a terrible review. First off the employee's were giving attitude and I could not even understand them. I waited 5 minutes for a burnt grilled cheese sandwich that had probably been sitting in the glass "showcase" for over a week. Then I go to sit down and every table and chair is dirty. Oh did I also forget to mention I found a nice long gray hair in my sandwich? On top of everything lousy about this place they charge 10 bucks for a grilled cheese. Thumbs down. The other one got shut down, I wonder why.

I actually really like this place. Why? B/c it's my good luck charm. I have an egg and cheese grilled breakfast sandwich every time I fly. That is undeniable proof that it is my good luck charm. Egg sandwich in my belly = airplane stays in the air. Please don't question my logic. I hate flying and this idea somehow helps me through it. Plus it's in Terminal A which is awesome and has tons of natural light.

The food was matched by the horrible service. Ordered a simple grilled cheese sandwich that was neither grilled or melted. When mentioned that I would like the cheese melted, they microwaved the sandwich. Ended up with mushy bread and cheese melted into a paper plate. Thanks! Totally not worth it.

I had to be at SeaTac (airport) this weekend and discovered that there was a Dish D'Lish in the hoi polloi (non-traveller) section as well. I picked a Cheddar and Bacon Strata and also orderd the Mango Lemonade. Both were Mmmm! Mmmm! good. The strata was light and moist and flavorful. Not doughy and bland as it looked. The lemonade was served in a sealed plastic cup ala bubble tea. The mango syrup added a sweet, fragrant contrast to the tart lemonade. Two thumbs up for both items. In the past, I've had the opportunity to try their sandwiches also. I've had the Smokehouse Ham, Turkey in the Garden and Ultra Tuna. All three were fresh and tasty. Overall not amazingly memorable and not stunningly original, but certainly better than anything else you'd find at Seatac (and most delis). 3 Stars - I don't mind eating there again.

Usually I eat at Vino Volo. When I don't have time, or want something a little more relaxed, I like Dish D'Lish. I like the grilled cheese and the vinegary cucumber salad. Fast, good, and not so expensive. Would only be 3 stars outside the airport.

  • Erin Q.

Seriously? I ordered an ultimate grilled cheese and was sorely disappointed. While the goat cheese was surprisingly good, it's a glorified cheese sandwich, dripping with oil. I could only eat half of it because of how oily it was. Not impressive, but I guess airport food is not intended to stimulate the taste buds. Even worse, the people watching was highly limited due to the setup of the place. Oh well, I guess I'll stick with Ivans fish bar next time.

This place is the BEST place to feed your face at the airport. If you are in the central terminal where the BIG windows are (past security) there is a food court....most everything you would usually see is there, Wendy's, Sushi ($$), Ivar's fried, Starbucks, etc.......BUT try Kathy Casey's Dish D'Lish at the south end of this area...the food is all made from scratch and very GOOD. It is left of Ivar's.I have had their salads, sandwiches, and breakfasts....all were really good and very tasty, which is VERY unusual for airport food!! They have their own tables and it's a great place to watch people go by....TRY IT!

3.5 stars as regular at the airport, this place is good. the pasta is made to order and freshly tossed. the to go containers are really cute yellow oval shaped. the utensils are a fun design but not as functional as a regular spork. the white bean soup is hearty but could use a bit more meat. each hot dish comes with a slice of bread (eat it soon or it gets too hard). the ambiance (even though it is only 20 feet long) is quite nice and tasteful.

One of the better dining options in SeaTac - reasonably priced gourmet sandwiches, fresh-made pastries, fresh fruit. Salads look sparse. Pleasant staff. portseattle.org/seatac/s…

Very nice takeout food for the plane. Some thought was out into the menu. For instance, they sell boiled eggs, but package them with bacon salt.

Tried this on Friday and was impressed. In terms of airport food, this is solid if you're looking for an alternative to Anthony's (best food at Seatac). I tried Kathy's Favorite Panini - chicken with melted brie and a few things I can't remember, but were excellent. Also recommend trying their soup.

Great idea. Execution? Nuked the grilled Cheese prior to grilling on a sandwich press. I assume to reduce the cook time. End result, rubber bread..... Cucumber salad was to sweet. Needed more acid And less sugar.

Dish D'Lish has become my "go to" place when flying out of SeaTac. I tend to take early morning flights, and, when I do, I head to Dish D'Lish for a breakfast panini -- very tasty and filling and keeps me satiated for hours to come. Most recently, though, I had a late afternoon flight. I was flying to the East Coast. I was looking at not arriving at my hotel until about 11:00 PM EDT, so knew dinner that night was unlikely. I stopped at Dish D'Lish and got a lovely salad -- full of fresh greens and nuts and mandarin oranges and chicken -- to bring on board. It was also tasty and filling and beat the hell out of the "for sale" food choices being offered in flight. And, it kept my belly happy until morning. Dish D'Lish's prices are a hair above the odds, but that's to be expected at the airport. And, it's a thin hair. All in all, I think Dish D'Lish's options and quality beat most of what else is available foodwise at SeaTac. I'm sure I'll be returning next time I fly.

The sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich was on the greasy side, but good. the best part was the fresh orange juice. they give you a giant, garden-hose-sized straw from which to drink it too. The rest of the menu seems healthy enough. The salads and sandwiches looked good.

This 4-star rating is relative, based upon the other offerings at the airport. Dish D'Lish tends to be my go-to place for a quick bite while at Seatac Airport. The to-go couscous dish with nuts, currants and other goodies (vegetarian!) is fantastic, and a great snack to bring with you on a flight if you want a light and healthy snack (just make sure to grab a spoon or fork to take along!). The breakfast sandwiches are decent as well, and less gut bomb-y if you get less cheese (such as one slice only). They have lots of healthy offerings and the prices are equivalent to other places in the airport.

This is going to be a slightly different review for me since I have not been to Dish D'Lish recently.. but rather I used to work just upstairs from it so it was a "frequent" visit for me. For airport food it's pretty ok but I would rather visit the beautiful huge windows at the Seatac foodcourt and watch the planes come and go than this little cramped but ok establishment. PROS ~ cookies were good when the sweet tooth comes calling ~ soup is almost always very good regardless of flavor ~ easy access and doesn't require a security check CONS ~ WAY overpriced.. even if it is in an airport ~marketed like they think way to highly of themselves and hope to convince you of the same but I never bought it. ~ service (was) never that great ~ try to cram too many chairs/tables within their space

This place is ok. Expect airport prices. Breakfast with toasted bagels and cream cheese, and a small bowl of chicken noodle soup to tide me over for a long day of travel. I was charged for an almond bear claw that I didn't order. I waited a bit for the attendant who had the keys to the register to return from a juice run. I politely explained my overcharge. Since the traffic that morning was next to nil, the attendant remembered my order, apologized, printed an adjusted receipt, and gave me my dollar and change with a smile and apology. Now that's good service. I would not have had the same luck had the shop been full of travelers. Definite revisit next time I am in town. Check your receipts.

OMG - Try the strata! I flew in and out of Seatac last month. When I landed in Seattle, I stopped at Dish D'Lish for a quick bite. I asked what was in the tall display oven behind the counter. "Strata," I was told. I ordered a veggie strata which had red peppers, artichokes, and cheese for $3.99. The rest is history. I used to think that the breakfast baked egg souffles at Panera were pretty luscious. Well, the strata is like that souffle times ten. The strata is eggy, custardy, rich, and delectable. In the 10 days that I was away, I kept thinking about how I would have another strata the second I passed through security at Seatac. And I did. It was still $3.99 and just as amazing as it was 10 days prior. Now I want to go back to Seattle just for another strata. They also have ample seating so you can put your luggage on a chair and relax for a bit, and restrooms are nearby.

Best airport food at SeaTac. For breakfast, I love the egg Florentine or the hard boiled eggs with bacon salt! The servers are friendly and the coffee is hot and plentiful. I also really like the cucumber salad as a take-with lunch - the sandwiches are also very good if you prefer. I also like that they have small containers of hummus and crackers or cheese for you to take with. The fruit cups are fresh and they vary the fruit according to season. There is also a yogurt granola cup that is pretty good, too. All in all, everything has been fresh and flavorful. When there is a line, it does clear up pretty quickly. Give it a try.

This place was run by (4) idiots and (1) sweet woman who was the only person who knew what was going on. The food was OK and inexpensive for an airport, but I could not get past the morons behind the counter. Figure out who the smart woman is and hire (4) more like her and you could have (5) stars.

    (1)
  • DX J.

5 stars is for its comparison to other airport food. I would not make this a destination dining spot but for airport fare it does not get much better. There were a number of families in the restaurant and the service staff did not make anyone even wait to pick up their food. They told people have a seat and we will bring it to you. They even went to pick up forks and napkins for one mom with 2 children. Very pleasant. Prices are quite reasonable.

Welcome to quality airport food. Compared with everything else at sea-tac, this is creme of the crop. Unfortunately it comes at a steep price. While I have paid more for less, it still doesn't quite justify the price. That being said, I come here every time I am at the airport. They make a darn good sandwhich. The one with brie, chicken on focaccia is just delightful. And if it is breakfast time, those darn bacon, egg and cheese sandwhichs are just delicious.

I was not impressed with the sandwiches, prices, or service. Dish D'List is NOT so delish. The sandwiches are over-priced, ingredients not so fresh, and flavors not so great. My bf and I shared the pesto chicken panini and turkey cran brie. The pesto was flavorless--nothing but a green, weird spread. And the turkey cran brie? The cran was more like mushy apple spread and the brie was weird tasting. I'm not a fan of melted brie. The texture was just off. Plenty of other places to find a bite to eat at SeaTac than spend your money here.

On the road again. It's noon at SeaTAC or is it sEATac, or is it s-EAT-atac..?.OK, I'm hungry and after getting off a plane that enjoys serving bread and water (no, they haven't gone that far yet), I notice that there were no seats (there it is again, sEATS) on the main food court....I am delirious and I see the letters "E", "A", "T", everywhere. Everywhere, but Dish D'Lish (not to be confused with Dish N'Dash... that involves the L.A.P.D.). The numero uno thing about this place? It's away from the food court, and the restaurant has their own seatings...with wifi connection (OK, that's sEATac's wifi connection). The food wasn't too bad. They offered healthy selections of soups and salads, and semi-un-healthy selections of delicious desserts such as Apple Cinnamon Pecan Muffin or Ultra Chocolate Chip cookies...and others. Me? I had the Panini grilled tuna sandwich for $7.30 and a soda Izze Sparkling Clementine for $2.25. It wasn't bad for airport food. I like sEATac.

it is, what it is, cause it is, the cheapest place to get food at the airport. Well it's the cheapest place to eat besides Wendy's. The food isn't that great, but you can find some decent things here. It's quick, it's easy, and it's a change from the regular chain restaurants.

  • Shannon C.

We stopped here for breakfast before our flight back to ny. It was rather expensive for pre-made food, however, the food was good. I think we made the right choice stopping here. The customer service was great! :)

    (3)
  • Lisa T.

A great place to grab a bite to eat and sit down in the airport. The tables and chairs are for D'Lish customers only - which helps in minimizing the need to scope out a place to sit (as is the case in the Main concourse area/food court). The tuna melt is delish...as was their thai curry soup. The service...eh, this isn't a restaurant, so expect to feel rushed and not that important.

  • Eric V.

I'm at the airport every week and I've just grown tired of the food that's served there. It's entirely unhealthy. Your options are Mcdonalds, Starbucks, or a number of other places that want to serve you a 1500 calorie breakfast. Dish D'Lish seems to have some of the healthier options for breakfast. If you're looking for just a hard boiled egg or something that isn't going to kill you - this is the place for you.

  • Tami J.

Okay food, typical for an airport. The order takers don't really speak or understand English too well, but they smile a lot and are nice. The food was just okay, nothing that really stood out. The flavored waters are really nice and tasty. They do have packaged foods for taking on the flight, as well as options to eat in the restaurant. It was an okay meal.

  • Mo H.

Stale cookie...Need I say more??? OK, so I will. I was craving something sweet and after going through the food court I settled here and saw they had some giant cookies. Oh and the sugar cookie looked so tasty. Well-it wasn't. Seriously, I guess they have a good thing going since most people buy and run to their plane and before they can sink their teeth into their food the door of the plane is closed and there is nothing they can do. How can you sell stale cookies? Ugh!

Dish D'Lish is my 2nd favorite airport food-place and trust me I see many airports. I always pop in here for their pomegranate lemonade. I love that they make if right in front of you and seal the glass with a thin shrink plastic instead of a lid. One can grab one and not have to worry about drinking right away but run to your plane and enjoy at your leisure. The drink comes with this fat straw that is pointed at the bottom so to pierce the plastic shrink when you are ready to sip...almost exactly like a kids juice box. I hear they have delicious salads, soups, sandwiches, and pastries as well. I have tried the yogurt parfait also but it was a little over sized for me, but yet again delicious.

  • Trip C.

Dish D'Lish is our go-to food spot anytime we're heading out from Seattle on a flight to...wherever. Even when there's a longish line, the folks behind the counter are good about keeping the line moving and getting everyone's orders placed & rung up in a quick fashion - which is perfect if you're running to catch a plane but WILL NOT stand for paying for the sludge-in-a-box that most airlines disguise as "snack boxes" nowadays. Quick grabs that we like: the Zingy Cucumber Salad, Yogurt Parfait (yummy for breakfast), Turkey in the Garden premade sandwiches. If you have 2 minutes more, get the Mile-High Turkey Club - starring the special, luscious ingredient: Artichoke spread! mmmmmmmm.

Pre-made taragon chicken sandwich, cous cous salad, water: great find and fast... however expensive... as expected for airport grub.

    (4)
  • Ben K.

Well, like most of the new restaurants at Seatac, Dish is cheaply prepared cheap food that doesn't keep up with its trendy appearance. Not gross. Just cheap and unimaginative food for about 50% more than you ought to pay.

Say you forget to eat breakfast because you procrastinated on packing until 4AM on the morning of your flight, and you're running late because you took the arrival exit instead of the departures, and you had to wait an hour to get through airport security only to get a full body scan and pat down because you forgot to put your hairspray in a zip lock baggy, and your flight only offers pretzel mix... I'm gonna say you'll be in a better state of mind after some fresh oj and a delicious breakfast sandwich or strata. Find this place. It's the best in airport cuisine.

Ok, I'm basing this review off of airport food I've had in the past. Overall, I have to say this is one of the better places I have eaten at. I ordered the Pesto Turkey Panini. Yay me, I did good. It was tasty, the Pesto actually had some flavor to it and wasn't just green crap on bread. The salami and turkey was a great combo. The boss lady had a grilled cheese sandwich. I think the sandwich would have been one of the better grilled cheese sandwiches I've had in a long time. However, the only way it fell flat was some of the cheese wasn't melted. Tsk tsk tsk. Anyways, to top it off we also had some Peach Iced tea which was also better than expected. Whenever we fly into Seattle, we'll definitely be back.

We had two hours to kill before our flight to Victoria, so we stopped here for breakfast. We each had a bacon and cheddar strada. It was good, but a bit salty and greasy (not light like a previous reviewer said). One filled me up, so I couldn't eat the other half of my daughter's strada. Coffee was decent, but of course, in Seattle the coffee is always decent or better.

  • Sally S.

Ate breakfast and did carryout for lunch. I felt like I had a healthier and less expensive lunch than the stuff the airlines want you to buy. Had a breakfast panini that was good and the cold chicken breast slices and cous-cous salad for lunch was yummy, too. I liked the one-stop shopping I was able to do here. And like another reviewer mentioned, finding a table was easier than dealing with the main food court area although I did miss the expansive view from the windows there. Would definitely come back next trip through Sea-Tac.

I went here, did not eat a tuna sandwich, did not learn the meaning of life, did not go through an amazing mind-trip*. I was there waiting for a plane to show up and whisk me away to Spokanistan for Turkey day. However, I did have the best lemonade ever. Only $3.75 plus tax. Made with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, pomegranate and achai (spelling?) berries. It was amazing. If you're waiting for a plane at SeaTac, definitely stop in for one. *To understand what I am talking about, please read the other review of this business.

After getting my boarding pass, I decided I had enough time to eat before going through security. I spotted this joint and decided anything was better than fast food. There were some prepared meals to take with you or they will press the sandwiches to warm 'em up for you. I had the spinach egg florentine since I wanted something not so meaty and cheesy after my meaty and cheesy food trip. It was pretty good and after dabbing some mustard, even better. And although it wasn't 10 a.m. yet, I couldn't leave Seattle without another bag of Tim's chips. That, the sandwich and a bottle of water set me back $11. Later after going through security, I noticed another Dish D'Lish. D'oh, I could have gone to this one and not have to toss out most of my water before security. Oh well.

While I didn't eat here, sadly, I had already purchased "food" in the food court area around the corner. I did come here for java, juice and bottled water. The prices were about right, being located IN the Seatac airport, but yeah, it's not all bad. Especially when the two espresso stands were packed to the gills! Staff were extra helpful, as I notified the first person behind the counter I saw that I only needed a few drinks, they first offered the freshly squeezed OJ, looks good, not bad really, pretty good actually and it's not bright fake OJ color.... Then they offered me the drip coffee, hmmmm...smells good, it's dark in color and doesn't smell burnt, I'll try some. Then after seeing all the gorgeous looking breakfast stuff I just had to pick up a yogurt w/mixed berries and granola, it wasn't bad, even tasty for something "healthy".... Had I not already purchased the crap...I mean, breakfast meal around the corner at the "Asian-ish" food-stand that had offered eggs and bacon, I wouldn't hesitate to drop ship and come to this place!! The breakfast pannini sandwiches looked fresh and man-oh-man I was drooling just looking at them, as I walked away wishing I hadn't spent $9.50 on my breakfast-barf from next door. In pure envy of those who were smart enough to give this place a try, I humbly slinked back to my table. Next time we travel, I'm down with this place for sure!!

Another must-stop at Seatac for me as part of my pre-flight ritual. Kathy's D'Lish Favorite Panini is one brie-filled mess of deliciousness that you absolutely must try. I appreciate their wide variety of to-go items and occasionally grab some herb goat cheese spread and crackers to snack on during a flight. The service is usually fast and friendly and it's a much better quick food place than some of the other spots in the food court. And it's next to Vino Volo... the other half of my pre-flight ritual. :) There's one before security now too, for added convenience. Ya, Kathy's Dish D'Lish!

I agree with one of the reviewers below, this place would rate 3 stars if it was outside of the airport. But my, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I didn't feel like getting anything like McDonald's at the airport and I always feel jipped by airplane food. I just wanted a decent sandwich, you know? The salads looked good, but I needed something to stay with me on my flight. I got an egg florentine panini-type thing and it was delicious! Toasted just right. Washed it down with some iced green tea. The tea was alright, very watery in my opinion. Rather pricey, but that's expected when you eat at an airport. I'd rather not shell out the same amount for Chicken McNuggets. Probably the best airport food I've had (apart from Singapore's Changi food court), but again-- that's not saying much of food at airports.

Kathy Casey, you need to return to SeaTac to taste your food, especially the prepared salads, or be ashamed that your name is connected with Dish D'Lish. What we had was nothing less than awful. My sister and I love food and enjoy cooking. While at the airport, we wanted something good but light and decided on Dish D'Lish for a salad. My sister had the Ceasar Salad with chicken, I had the chicken salad with mandarin oranges. The chicken in both was rubbery and flavorless and both dressings were horrible (mine was very cloying, the Ceasar was worse than bottled). We both wanted to give credit where due especially since this was airport food. But at the price we paid ($23 with two bottled waters) this was inexcusable. I hope you, Kathy, assess the foods with your name on them. Meanwhile, I'll stick to Qdoba or Ivar's. Never again at D'ick.

This place was great! Much better than your standard airport fare but still offering items to grab & go. I had the D'lish panini - roast chicken, brie, & apple cranberry chutney on foccaccia. It lived up to it's name & I would definitely have it again. My Mom had the Cheddar Bacon Strata & said it was equally yumtastic.

This little hole in the hallway at SeaTac airport will get a return visit from me. I actually did have the tuna melt, not what I would've chosen but the husband got it and was making crazy, you've got to try this faces with each bite. Yes - it was good. We fought over the 2nd half. However, he didn't want anything to do with my pre-made cous cous salad which tasted more of curry than the the lemon viniagrette it was written to be. Still very good. No clean table or seat in the immediate area but that didn't make it taste any less delicious. We felt sorry for the poor saps who were eating their cold Starbucks sandwiches and casting us longing looks while we obviously enjoyed ours!

Decent food, although pre-made and then just thrown onto a panini press to heat up. Low prices for airport food.

This is a GREAT spot to get your in-flight meal purchased. We love the grilled tuna, omg, it is great! And the couscous salad and the cuke salad are both fab. YUM. The fresh oj and their cookies are perfect accompaniments. Take along some chocolate or some Valdosta snacks. The tarragon chicken sandwich is yummy too if you don't prefer yours grilled. We also like the strata if it's morning....it's all d'lish!

If you're not aware that Dish D'Lish has not one but TWO stores at Sea-Tac airport, you are missing out. Kathy Casey is the best thing that has happened to air travel since free first class upgrades. Not that those happen very often. Anyway, I digress. Tired of expensive, disgusting airline food? Get yourself over to Dish D'Lish and grab some sexy olives, some northwest cous cous salad, a mile-high turkey club, and a macaroon brownie. You may have the middle seat, but you'll be the envy of everyone on the plane. Located in the Central Terminal--pre-security on the ticketing level, next to the exit from Concourse B, and post-security in the Pacific Marketplace.

Had a pretty vile packaged sandwich here. I might try something out of the case, but pre-packaged sandwiches are to be avoided!

  • Lisa C.

The food was cold and does not feel fresh. I ordered: The Shrub sandwich - a soggy and cold sandwich is a bad combination Cous Cous Salad - the salad tastes okay, but it was way too cold and the ingredients seems a bit old Macaroon Brownie - a macaroon stuck inside a chocolate cup cake. it was way too sweet. The "brownie" was a bit soggy.

  • Kerrie L.

Two stars??? Here's why: Sullen employees - I really don't need your attitude when my heart is feeling as empty as my stomach. Desserts so tough they break your plastic fork - there is no telling how long they have been sitting there, but they *look* so deceptively good! Dirty tables that are really close together - a clean table would really help make the lead-up to an impending departure a bit more pleasant. The sandwich was okay, and the last employee I dealt with was actually rather nice. But all these factors combine to make Dish D'Lish (Sea-tac) the 3rd worst thing about departing from Seattle. Someday I will try the one in Ballard - I *hope* this airport version is no indication of the real thing. (This very special 2-star V-day review is dedicated to the #1 reason I hate to leave. Happy Valentine's Day all!)

So nice to find healthy, fresh food in an airport! I picked up pre-sealed cups of cucumber/ onion salad and tomato/ mozzarella salad. A little under $5 each, and I loved that I could throw them in my purse and go!

For an expensive airport restaurant this place is alright. It's crowded but the sandwich I had really hit the spot. It was grilled wheat bread with bacon eggs and cheddar. Wife liked her soup and cold tuna sandwich.

This is a decent sand wish shin dig at the airport. Very nice atmosphere and never crowded. Try the tuna meltdown....it melted my hunger away. They have all kinds of other sandwiches including breakfast....and it looks pre-made...use caution. Not heavy on the stomach at all.

  • Kim C.

  • Mj J.

  • Alex F.

  • Victoria C.

One of the better dining options in SeaTac - reasonably priced gourmet sandwiches, fresh-made pastries, fresh fruit. Salads look sparse. Pleasant staff. portseattle.org/seatac/s…

  • Vince N.

it is, what it is, cause it is, the cheapest place to get food at the airport. Well it's the cheapest place to eat besides Wendy's. The food isn't that great, but you can find some decent things here. It's quick, it's easy, and it's a change from the regular chain restaurants.

    (2)

    (4)

Ugh!

  • Heather J.

  • Ben K.

Well, like most of the new restaurants at Seatac, Dish is cheaply prepared cheap food that doesn't keep up with its trendy appearance. Not gross. Just cheap and unimaginative food for about 50% more than you ought to pay.

  • Colleen W.

Oh well.

Seemed like a great place. I had a nice egg sandwich and would love to go here again and get food. Loved the fresh squeezed OJ.

Try the BBQ Ham and Cheese sandwich. Very good. This place is a tad pricey, but worth it.

Usually I eat at Vino Volo. When I don't have time, or want something a little more relaxed, I like Dish D'Lish. I like the grilled cheese and the vinegary cucumber salad. Fast, good, and not so expensive. Would only be 3 stars outside the airport.
