I'm a fan! the food is perfect for a quick lunch that i can take back to my desk and the staff is always very friendly - BUT (and yes, i have one), if i go there between noon and 1is - its Katie-barr-the-door!!! Place is PACKED! Now its true they have it down to a science so it goes pretty fast but the line can be quite intimidating!! so i do avoid the place during those times - after 2pm - golden! That's a chicken-bowl-to-go-white-rice-black-beans.... got it? and ask for a tortilla on the side, its a must. i've never sat down for a meal (always take out) so i can't comment on the comfort and it is pretty noisy but for the price and the speed - can't beat it.

This Chipotle is pretty useless. Don't online order because you will spend your entire lunch break waiting for your order, you are better off going literally anywhere else. I don't go here often, the line is always crazy during lunch so I thought I'd try online ordering - big mistake. I cruised up to the register to pick up my order feeling like a boss until I realized the line of pale, disgruntled line of hypoglycemics behind me, 10 deep. The hanger was palpable. I felt the dread wash over me, when I realized I had already paid, I was chained to my burrito bowl, just like the rest of them. There was no one helping anyone in the line for a good 15-20 min period, and then finally, like a big dump, the large order was released and they started handling the orders 3 at a time. Ultimately the people aren't terrible, and the food is decent and accurate. My chips are a little soggy. The only problem with this store is that they simply need to figure out a better way to deal with the lunch rush. Until then, if I want to wait a half hour for an overpriced lunch, well, I'd have to search high and low because everyone else downtown has this figured out, and they aren't national chains.

I've stopped reviewing Chipotles because they're usually very consistent. This one was different enough that I thought it warranted a review. First, though I always get a bowl, I noticed the same thing I see in several reviews. They roll burritos oddly, and they end up shaped like softballs. I had to ask twice for extra rice. It's interesting to see how they portion out ingredients in the different locations. Typically, they use the standard serving spoon to measure. One full scoop of whatever. Sometimes I go to a location that taps pretty hard to flatten out (and thus minimize) the portion of guacamole, but I've stopped getting guac so I only notice when I follow someone that gets it. I do order double sofritas, and when you double the protein, they charge you for it. So it had better be two scoops. Here, it was one normal scoop, and then another third or so. Thats not double, and you're charging me for it? This location is clearly trying to minimize portions. Mine was a bowl, so they weren't just trying to make sure they didn't get it too large to roll. So I get my food and go to sit down, and I'm told "You can't sit there. We're pre-closing that section" WTF is "pre-closing," and why are you telling a customer that they cannot sit at the only clean table in the restaurant? You don't close tables in a tiny dining room just for your convenience, so you can lock up faster. And that's my last complaint: **They actually lock the doors with the dining room full of customers!** I'm sure that must be a fire code violation. (these weren't doors with crash bars to let you open them. Just an ordinary deadbolt) They lock them right at closing time, or maybe even before, because they don't want customers inconveniently coming in right before they close. So they locked the doors, and then there was someone incomprehensibly gesturing to those of us trying to leave that we needed to go use the exit by the bathrooms. I know all Chipotle locations are corporate owned, so I'm sure this isn't a local franchise decision, as they don't franchise. This is just badly managed. You can see from my other reviews that I'm a Chipotle fan and I very often make the convenient and dependable choice to eat Chipotle, but tonight I'm going find something else.

Typical example of this chain. Food is dependable, unfortunately the service is not. They wrap a burrito to look like a softball, and its wrapped so tight as soon as you take it out of the foil wrapper its exploded at the seams. I'm not sure why they can not get this right... Also the seating is crazy close if you use the stools. I had to sit adjacent to a couple of crazy women, definitely harshed my mellow....

I am not a huge fan of Chipotle overall, but this is an excellent location of the franchise. Food tasted very fresh, service was efficient, wait time was significantly shorter than I have seen elsewhere, etc. The only downside for me was the bathroom, which was in particularly rough shape the day I stopped in. I'll attribute this to heavy foot traffic the location receives, but definitely some room for improvement there :)

This Chipotle gets way busy but line moves fast. Lady who gives you corn and salsa really skimps you. I like corn. I ate a burrito here once. Lunch here is pretty good. I would give it 4 stars if not for corn lady. She knows I like corn and gave me basically no corn on purpose. My favorite band is Korn.

I would have to say the management has done a great job training the staff. They are quick, polite and fast and seem to enjoy their jobs. Nice work folks this was a great dining experience and well having a cold. Corona just sealed the deal. More locations could learn a bit from this place.

  • Ming Z.

I eat at this Chipotle every week. It's gets crazy busy from 11:30am-12:30pm. But the servers are super fast! There would be 6-8 of them on the line, and more in the back cooking. I always order online and pick up without waiting. The server that does the online orders is super nice.

This was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Chipotle. With the long line at lunch time, you would assume that the food would be fresh and hot since they have to constantly be replenishing their supply due to the amount of people being served, but that was not the case. The chicken was burnt to the point where it was almost inedible, when I asked for vegetables I only got 3 pieces, the food tasted exceptionally bland compared to other Chipotle restaurants, and finally the food was cold when I got it. I love Chipotle, but this restaurant left me very disappointed and upset. I will not be returning to this location. It's a waste of money.

Place was disgusting, even the serving counter had food mixing with other foods and what not. Tables were all dirty, and both garbages were so full people gave up and set their trash piled on top and in a pile on the floor. The beef I had in my burrito tasted off and I just gave up because my appetite was basically lost at that point and so i walked out and trashed it down the street.

I like it when Chipotle offers special deals such as buy a Sofrita and get your next bowl/burrito/taco FREE!!! Thanks, dont mind if I do. Line was so long the other day.....like wrapped around twice! This place is always busy at lunch time, like ridiculously busy! I dont come here much but its not bad and its super convienient for me and a FREE coupon for next time aint bad neither.

This is your standard Chipotle, crammed into downtown. The results are about as satisfying as you'd expect. The place is pretty noisy - lots of people in relatively little space makes for a steady din, echoed by the many aluminum surfaces. They've also got one of the more annoying setups, with around half the seating as stools. The metal chairs are uncomfortable to sit in, and awkwardly, unnecessarily elevated. I don't like the feel of the place. The staff don't chat much. They mostly just do their jobs. They're pretty quick at what they do, so even with a decent line you get through in a reasonable timeframe. If you work in a nearby office, you'll benefit from the proximity. It's also pretty close to Westlake Tunnel, if you're taking the bus.

There are many reasons that I started going across the street to Qdoba after being a chipotle customer for a little while. First off chipotle staff are rude and last thing I need is a witchy teenager after a long day of work. I thought I'd give them another try but this time they gave me the last of the chicken (the girl picked the pan up and scrapped chicken jerky to finish off pan) I then asked if I could just get steak because that chicken looked like it had tangoed through hell and back and now reincarnated into this fiery jerky doom. She then said it would be considered double steak meal since she scooped chicken jerky onto my bowl already (they were out of chicken now) I only had $9.00 since I forgot my debit card so I then brought it up to cash register tweedler (tween/toddler) and he said sorry about that there's nothing they can do about it. I won't go back again.. I'd suggest crossing the street to Qdoba where the guacamole and other toppings are part of price and the staff is always friendly.

This place is always packed but the line goes pretty fast so you should know what you want to order when you're in front of the line. I wouldn't recommend coming here when it's crowed and it's you're first time eating at chipotle bc you'll slow everything down. But other than that, I really like this place every though I always feel pregnant after eating a huge burrito haha

    (4)
  • Kevin C.

Chipotle always comes through for me when I'm craving that burrito. If you don't want the additional 300 calories for the tortilla wrap you can also get it in a bowl. This location is packed at lunch on weekdays. The line is litterally wrapped around the place and out the door. But it goes fairly quick.

Its was an awesome food. It filled up my tummy. I am really happy that I had the food at chipotle. I will come back again

This place always hits the spot for me when I'm craving Mexican (even though there are like 3-4 Taco Del Mars in the area). I came here with a few coworkers around 11:30 and the line was already to the bathroom (about 30 people ahead of us). The line moves fairly quickly, about 5-7 minutes before we go to order. So don't let the lines deter you from getting a burrito :P

Good enough food for fast food. A little high on the sodium for a healthier eater. The location is good, if you do not mind the homeless community.

Typical Chipotle. What makes this store great is the location. This Chipotle is close to all the main bus routes and the light rail. I do like that this location has pleanty of room for a line that does not block the flow of the foot traffic inside.

  • Clay B.

Typical Chipoltle great service, always super busy.. however the long lines go really quick. This is also on a really busy Seattle corner so while you eat plenty of people watching. Always love my Chipoltle!!

It's crazy packed we are talking ridiculous line during lunch it's way over priced there is a Mexican restaurant not too far from here I'd rather go to the food sucks at this location and the staff is ok slow but really nice I also do not like the seating I'll opt for the sushi place in the same location it was all just remodeled

  • Chris K.

I love Chipotle, but this one needs some serious fine tuning. 5pm on a weekday, there are only 3 people in front of me and it took 15 minutes just to make it to the register. The manager was standing in the back with his arms folded while the employees were frustrated and overwhelmed. They were being very short with each other, and I felt bad for them. Then the manager went over to the woman working the register and told her she wasn't getting her regularly scheduled break because she was the only one he had to work the register. She was noticeably upset, as she should be. I felt really uncomfortable at the way the manager was acting at treating his employees. I will not be coming back to this location.

I ordered crunchy chicken tacos. Meat, salsa, guacamole ($2 extra), and lettuce. I asked for my rice and beans to be on the side. They charged me $1 extra for that. Yes, it's not a lot of money, but that's not the point. If I had ordered a burrito or bowl it would have been included, "free". But since I don't want it in my taco it's extra? That's BS.

I ordered food from Chipotle today and the guy who was bagging the food (not the cashier) spat out food (unintentionally I assume) as he was talking. Gross! Makes me wonder if he ever serves food. Omg! I think they can reduce / eliminate the chances of this if the employees don't eat while they are working. (Assuming that's what happened.) I can't go back there again. Not as long as I remember this incident.

Woah, my friends weren't kidding when they said Seattle was a vegan friendly place! You can get "sofritas" which is a braised tofu/chili combo that is apparently vegan for your Chipotle needs! I've never seen that in any other Chipotle before so that's interesting. I ended up getting my usual - chicken bowl (tasted pretty standard) - so I can't tell you if sofritas actually taste good or not, but I guess you can try it out if you're interested! I loved that they had the calories listed for each item - it's something that Houston Chipotle chains should probably start doing.

Grab n go kind of food. Considering this, then it's one of my favorite places to get a healthy bite. You won't feel guilty afterwards... unless you eat the ENTIRE burrito. They're massive! Guacamole, corn, cilantro, red onions, salsa verde, medium salsa, fresh chopped iceberg lettuce, mozzarella cheese, brown rice and black beans.

    (4)
  • Sayee Mukkund R.

Chipotle! 'Nuf said! The person who took my order was nice enough to put extra sour cream and corn on request :)

Probably the busiest location in all of Seattle, but the service is as fast as any of the other locations or maybe even faster. Line can get long at lunch hour but it's usually no more than a few minutes at most. Staff is friendly

    (5)
  • Steve G.

This has to be the fastest service of any Chipotle! The line moves very fast and it is always busy at this location. Of course the food is great and a great price, one of the best deals for healthy food at a reasonable price.

  • Julianne B.

Horrible service, was way too busy and the workers were not moving as they should . Ordered a steak bowl and the girl gave me half a scoop of rice and covered that half scoop with all black beans and the rice was covered and soaked in bean juice to the point I couldn't taste the rice. I then spoke to the manager and he agreed upon giving me another bowl and this time he watched as they made the bowl and that time around the bowl came out pretty good only cause the manager was watching and giving the orders.

Love chipotle!! I know it's expensive but it's woooooorth iiiiiit!! Even though you're charged through the yang for guacamole (which is one reason I only gave 4 stars) you have to get it. I get a carnitas burrito, no beans, corn salsa, mild salsa, cheese and guacamole... Let the heavens sing and rejoice. I don't live super close to a Chipotle as I am from Bremerton (which I feel like we should have one!) so when I do get a chance to be in a city where a chipotle is close that's where I head for lunch! It's always delicious, always expensive and occasionally the burrito comes apart because it's not wrapped properly (the other reason I gave 4 stars) but overall, one of the best places to eat! And this one happens to be super clean so yay!

  • Shawna S.

Everything I want in a lunch stop: Fast, Clean, Tasty and Affordable! I swing by here at least once every other week. If you do it right you can do it healthy while still getting a delicious meal! I prefer to swing vegetarian salad with black beans and all the tasty fixins minus the sour cream. I greatly appreciate how quickly they move you down the line so don't hesitate to wait if it seems crowded, you'll be in and out in a flash!

  • Keith B.

Absolutely terrible. I got a bowl that had half the normal amount of steak, rice, and everything else. Worse yet, they put the bowl in my to-go bag upside down. Half way home the juices and salsa ate through the bag and my shitty-to-begin-with bowl fell on the ground.

    (1)
  • Eve T.

The servers here are amazing and awesome. They happily let you add all sorts of things into your burrito at no extra charge. "Can I get brown AND white rice?" "Can I also get fajita with black AND brown beans?" "What if I added all the salsas?" No problem! My massive exploding burrito is still $8 some odd cents. =D Totally worth. Quality ingredients. Love going in here while waiting for the bus to arrive- they've got the ideal location. The only downside is they close at 8pm.

I never understood the hype around Chipotle. I decided to try their burrito bowl on a day I forgot to bring my packed lunch to work. My burrito bowl contained grilled chicken, some greens, grilled veggies, lots of brown rice, black beans and some corn salsa. Overall, this was a bland dish. I didn't like how the majority of the bowl was just rice and they were not generous with the vegetables. The chicken and the grilled veggies (minus the onions) were lacking in flavor and heat. The corn salsa added some flavor but not enough to satisfy my hunger. If anything, I rather just walk up to Pike Place Market or the Vietnamese restaurant on 3rd for an affordable and satisfying meal.

I eat here at least twice a week because the food is great, and the service at this store is wonderful! The team is cheerful, pleasant, and quick. Lines, while long, aren't slow. Keep up the great work, and thanks!!

  • Deanna G.

I'm a fan! This location can be hit or miss though. There have been a few times where they have been out of some protein that I wanted (steak) and I had to change my order (first world problem?), there are usually a lot of staff members in the kitchen talking and seemingly doing nothing when the line is almost out the door and they really need three people staffing the ordering area, but other than that the food is good! Just don't be shy - if you want more of something like veggies or beans or what have you, just ask.

  • Debbie L.

Great location, walking distance to everything in the Downtown Seattle area. Otherwise just your normal Chipotle nothing different from any other Chipotles I've been into. Would recommend.

  • Gus C.

Went here at the end of a Sunday just before it closed. Don't do this again, OK? The steak was so chewy and the place was surrounded by homeless people. The bathroom was out of order and some dude was eating hot sauce out of his hand totally drunk and out of it. This is really a bad experience and probably the worst Chipotle ever. I don't know if I can go back to another one after this. Well maybe but really close this place before you loose more customers.

I know, I know. You're struggling financially. You're either (a) paying back loans, (b) still a student, (c) unemployed, or (d) in some sort of overworked, underpaid job. The hole in your wallet is growing exponentially, and dining out just isn't an option anymore. I get you, and I want to help. So I will impart some practical wisdom on how YOU can get a meal from Chipotle for an outstanding low price of $2.30 plus tax. "But how, Winnie?" you may ask. You've been to Chipotle many a time to satisfy your Mexican-American food cravings. You know that a steak burrito with guac and soda costs a pretty penny at almost ten bucks. The secret to a three-dollar meal? Follow the steps below: (1) Leave all traces of self-respect and pride at the door. There will be no such room for these moral luxuries during this low-point of your personal financial crisis. (2) You will interact with four Chipotle staff members during your time in the food line. Staff #1: The Tortilla Dispenser. She/he will ask you what you are ordering. Burrito, Bol, or Tacos? For here or to go? Simple questions, simple answers. You're going for one--yes--one soft taco, to go. **Killer Fact #1** Surprise! Tacos can be ordered a-la-carte. They run about $2.30 each, depending on the meat. When you order one individual taco, the establishment as a whole will immediately feel sorry for you and generously heap up the condiments. This works greatly in your favor, as you will end up with almost twice as much food as you are actually paying for. (3) Staff #2: The Beans, Rice, and Meat Dispenser. She/he will usually skip the beans and rice, and ask what meat you want, since tacos usually do not come with these commodities. But you will ask for both. You will also be getting the chicken, as this is the most economical choice. "But I want steak, Winnie" you say. Well I say back, you're poor, poorie. Poor people eat chicken. Get over it. (4) Staff #3: The Salsas and Veggies Dispenser. You will request mild salsa, corn, whatever other salsa your heart desires, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. Guac? Don't even think about it. After she/he finishes up your taco, kindly ask for lettuce, corn, AND mild salsa 'on the side'. **Killer fact #2** Side orders of salsa/veggies/sour cream come in 4-ounce containers and are complimentary with purchases. (5) Staff #4: The Cashier. She/he will ring up your order and ask if you want a drink or chips. You want neither. You will, however, take a water cup. You will pay a grand total of $2.71 for your goods. (6) Upon returning to your table/office cube/park bench, take a small plate to put your taco on. (Ideally, a smaller plate will trick your mind into thinking there is more food.) Get a small bowl and throw in the corn, tomato salsa, and lettuce. Spritz some lemon on there. Wa-lah! You now have a 12-ounce salad, a drink, and a ginormous taco. "What the heck, Winnie?", you might say once you pull this trick and are left mildly hungry. You aren't completely satisfied! Well, I say back, my penny pinching ways just got you a 78% discount on a decent high-protein meal, you cynical wombat. I did not promise you a food coma. Take that extra $$ I just saved you and pick up a couple Value Menu items from the fast food establishment of your choice. That is all.

Typical Chipotle. Customer service is actually pretty good here. However, they are not as generous as the one on the Ave in terms of the food portion. I guess people who come here are not starving college students so all is well. I like Chipotle! But I would probably stick with the one on the Ave. The Ave store gives you more rice, beans, and meat!

  • Jon L.

This Chipotle really is a boon to the somewhat sketchy 3rd Ave street front in downtown Seattle. Taking up space in what was formerly a shoe store, this is a convenient place to get a quick bite downtown. The lines at Chipotle are infamous for being long, no matter which location you seem to go to. This location was no different, but they do a good job of moving the process along swimmingly. Running late to catch a concert at the Paramount, I decided to head over to Chipotle for a quick dinner and rush over to the theatre afterwards. Their prices seem to have crept up a smidge due to food price inflation. But for the quality product they offer, it is still worth it. Picked up a steak burrito ($6.70) which tasted just like most of the other Chipotle locations I have frequented. This is one of the chains that I trust their food QA standards no matter the location. The seating here is mostly of the bar stool table variety. Though there are a handful of booths by the windows. Thank goodness there is a Chipotle downtown. It helps to elevate the neighborhood a little.

I honestly can't beat Winnie's review of a $2.71 dollar chipotle taco, The staff is friendly, funnily enough I think most of their staff seems fairly flamboyant, giving a little flair to the atmosphere. At least they try to make work fun. however I will say that this chipotle is pretty good compared to some of them I've been to. The only complaint is the size of the place and the line that sometimes goes out the door. This place does get really busy, but they don't limit anything of a typical chipotle menu. Burritos, Burrito Bowls, Tacos, Quesedillas, Chips, Beers, Drinks, etc. Overall compared to Taco Del Mar, this place is better. I don't mind a 6$ burrito meal.

  • Chris M.

A burrito decision had to be made. I was downtown and there were two opposing choices: Qdoba or Chipotles. I used my trusty phone to see if either were owned by McDonalds or similar fast-food conquistadors and although Qdoba is owned by Jack-In-The-Box, I gave it a shot because it was closer. :-) QDOBA: I stepped in and the smell was not good. It smelled like a greasy fast food joint but the smell was of unidentified meat instead of an obvious smell of, say asada, ground beef, grilled chicken. I left as quickly as possible so as to prevent the smell from sticking to my clothes. CHIPOTLE: the winner due to the presence of real food smells coming from their grill! However, Chipotle was also the loser because I will not choose to eat there in the future. Nothing was horrible, but there are too many great burrito shops around for me to waste my hard earned burrito bucks on below-average food. What constitutes a below-average burrito? *only white and wild rice available--no spanish rice *black beans with no flavor *no post-purchase salsas available--only bottles of tabasco, siracha, etc. *naturally occurring frown while eating the burrito. Usually burritos make me shine with pleasure.

I already reviewed a different Chipotle (in Indiana, actually) where I went into the whole spiel about what Chipotle is and does. So I'm not going to do that here. But I'll say this: mission-style burritos and salads made to order using fresh, high-quality ingredients. (Chipotle, you're welcome for the elevator pitch.) Because I eat a paleo diet and often forget to bring my lunch to the office, I find myself at Chipotle multiple times a week. It's a bit of a walk from my office in Belltown, but I can get a salad bowl made to order quicker and cheaper than getting a mediocre salad from the much closer Subway. At lunchtime the line at Chipotle is incredibly long, but they are FAST. I can certainly get in and out of there in fewer than 10 minutes with a cheap and tasty lunch. In fact, here's my paleo order of choice: Salad bowl (no dressing, no rice, no beans) Fajita veggies Chicken (sometimes a different meat, maybe even double meat if I'm feeling sassy) Hot salsa Side of guacamole BOOM. Delicious, fast, filling, and super-healthy. And often for less than a lame Subway salad. Please order this magical combination at your leisure. I love Chipotle, but I'll say that the people putting your order together vary widely in awesomeness. Some are very generous with the ingredients while others act like they're rationing food at wartime. My most recent trip resulted in a pretty disappointing looking salad BUT it was still enough to satisfy me and make my mouth happy. I finished my meal, surprised to have had enough in my belly. If you're gonna totally go for it at Chipotle and not adhere to a totally over the top restrictive diet, get a burrito. Get it with rice and tons of toppings. It will be huge and packed with flavor and totally delicious. Put some of the Chipotle Tabasco on that crap and go to town! So, so good.

First off for fast cheap eats! One can always count on Chipotle to do one justice. With the only reminder to ask for extra brown rice and black beans. If your hungry that is. The veggie bowl is crackin... For those that dont know the term crackin'. It simply means its good. The burritos are descent size to say the least. To go along with a basic guacamole, which I like personally. They have a nice eclectic music selection playin 24/7. My only complaint is the beans can be a little salty at times. Its seems all across the country this seems to be true. Whether it be Washington, Colorado, California or NYC. The people are always friendly. But I guess that starts with the customer, right? Location is nice with ample seating. Except at lunch time though it can be slammed. So if your in a rush avoid lunch. All in all its a chill place.

Love the food... but... Last Sunday went to pick up a burrito bowl about 7:35... paper hand written sign in the window saying closed early. Ok, stuff happens. Then this week on Sunday decided I needed a Chipotle fix, fixing up the veggie burrito bowl all good until we got to mild salsa... completely out, then time to add guacamole and out... at which point I just had to say no. On a veggie burrito bowl without tomato salsa/guacamole what's the point? Still love the food, but two 25 minute each way trips via bus to go hungry twice just blows.

Every time I've been here service has been crazy fast. Maybe it's because I've gone at off-peak times, but I've left super satisfied every time. Love this location. It's a great place to stop in for a quick take-out before hopping on the bus!

I'm done with chipotle. I've been a loyal customer since they opened near my house back in 2004. I ate there a couple times each week all through high school and college. But I am done with them now. I went on Monday and the serving sizes were insulting compared to what they used to be. I got a carnitas burrito with black beans, and they gave me probably less than 10 beans and about 1/3 of the carnitas that I would have accepted back in the good old days. The prices keep going up and they keep serving less. People go there for high-quality, filling meal, not a meal of carby fillers like rice and a tortilla. Anyway, I just can't do it anymore. There's been too much of a pattern of being disloyal and stingey with loyal customers like myself.

I JUST FOUND A PIECE OF BAND-AID IN MY BURRITO. Officially never coming back to this place ever again. *Edited to add: I actually submitted a complaint to Chipotle and received a call from this store's manager. That conversation didn't really accomplish anything - he gave the standard "I don't know how this could've happened" speech and offered to send me Burrito Bucks to compensate for the money I spent on the tainted burrito. Said Burrito Bucks never arrived, so the apologies and compensation were BS. I'm not particularly broken up about it, because I never want to eat at Chipotle again anyway, but I thought it might be worth mentioning that their attempts to rectify these situations aren't worth much.

I'm biased, I love Chipotle. I really like their push for local, organic, and humane sourcing. Definitely the wave of the future as far as fast food goes. Only negative thing I will say is that as much as we all love to get carded for alcoholic beverages, can we just try to make this a less painful process? The girl at the register was trying to be funny about our out of state licenses, and jokingly that we should "stay out of trouble". Just give me my burrito and beer, I have calories to consume!

I went into the downtown store to order a burrito when they were slow. They charged me for extra steak that I was not given and didn't order. When I pointed it out I was given a "free" burrito card. It was a buy one get one free. Needless to say this was my first and last time visiting this establishment. Go to qdoba where they'll at least fix their mistakes.

Assuming everyone reading this has had a Chipotle experience, the two things that cause Chipotle locations to stand out on the positive/negative ledgers are 1) the time it takes to order 2) the consistency/freshness of the food items This place gets *very* crowded during the lunch rush, but the line moves at blazing speeds. They have one employee in the line that is solely in charge of telling the person punching the #'s on the cash register what the order is-and it's amazing how that one simple scenario keeps the line moving. The Chipotle in downtown Bellevue doesn't get nearly the amount of action, but the line moves much slower The cooked meats are always fresh..it's never good to take a peek at the meats and you notice that they have a "oh..this is has been sitting stagnant" kinda look to them. Not at this place!

When is Chipotle NOT good, that is the question! This location is pretty busy but the production line they have set up works like clock work. The cashier even spats out your total before ringing you up. I'm totally impressed. And yes, the food is all that and a bag of yummy chips :) Always a fan of Chipotle!

Chipotle is good... for a fast food place. The food isn't greasy, and it's full of flavor. Top in my books is the guacamole and chips. Some of the best I've had in the city. The rest of the food is very similar to what you'll find at QDoba right around the corner.

Good food, never have been disappointed. Somewhat healthy for you. They have the option of brown rice now! And are generous with the toppings. Sometimes the line is really long, but the wait is worth it. Order online and pick your food up at the register to skip the line! The only negative thing is they close at 8!

I love chipotle. My go to for a hearty meal. But yesterday when I ordered my usual steak burrito, I was saddened. I have been nearly all the chipotles in Washington but this one really disappointed me. My burrito was a third of what it normally was. The thing is, I understand that size varies greatly per maker, but when my burrito tasted like a it came out of a freezer. It felt as though i was biting into snow at points. Sadly I was very disappointed with my what seemed like a mini take out of the fridge convience burrito. Down town chipotle let me down

It's a Chipotle; it's as good as they all are. Consistent with their other locations, the line zips by, even during a lunch rush. The staff are smiley and efficient, and the food is tasty. I ordered the carnitas burrito bowl with half/half pinto and black beans, the corn salsa, pico de gallo, and hot salsa. Throw on some white cheese, and Roberto es su tío! More food than I ever should eat, and for $8 for entree + drink.

Good quality burritos and salads for the price you pay. The only thing that bothers me about this particular location is that they don't very good seating.

My friend once--well not once, often--described Chipotle as the Happiest Place on Earth. I tend to agree. Fresh ingredients, dank (yes, dank) chips & guac. I'm fortunate this one is too far for me to walk everyday for lunch. Get the veggie burrito/salad/whatever, the guac is included for free!

Chipotle has a number of things that make me angry to begin with- but their salsa and personalized burritos draw me back every so often- especially when I'm looking for something easy and tasty, however, this particular Chipotle decided that metal music was the right ambience for dining. It is not. While I was trying to sit down after a long day of walking in Seattle, I was jolted by this harsh music blaring from the kitchen. I couldn't even hear my boyfriend next to me. Not only this- but my burrito basically fell apart when I picked it up. Overall not a good experience at this Chipotle. Seriously who plays metal music in a burrito place.

Chipotle has been one of my favorite "Fast food" options since college. You can't really go wrong - everything is loaded with flavor and the serving size, even for salads, is huge. Because you choose each part of your order as you move down the line you can make ample modifications to your food - and if they don't offer, just ask for more, less, or a combination. The staff at this location moves fast but is super helpful and friendly, but they won't put up with any BS (mostly because if its location, which is on a sketchy corner of downtown Seattle.) This is a great place to come for lunch, even by yourself - you definitely won't be the only one, as this location is always busy, but there is usually at least a few tables always open (and clean - they're really good about making the rounds every few minutes to clear up trash and wipe things down.)

So the great thing about this Chipotle location is that they have a low counter. As you move along and place your order, even if you're on the shorter side or using a wheelchair, you can still see what they're putting in your burrito! The first time I came here I realized there were options that I didn't even know about! It's also a lot easier to hear the employees, rather than shouting back and forth and hoping that they hear you and get your order correct. I believe this low counter system is the standard for new locations, due to a lawsuit that took place in California. Food is tasty and delicious, as you can see from my other Chipotle review. I'm a fan! :)

I would like to say that 80% of the time that I have been here, the portions have been extremely generous without prompting. 15% of the time, the portions were extremely generous because I asked for more and was given more at no extra charge. The other 5% of the time, I forgot to ask so ultimately it is my fault. Anyway, I give Chipotle 5 stars because they never charge extra when I ask for more of any particular ingredient on my vegetarian bowl. Also because 75% of the time they are super nice to me, which is more often than I am to other people. Also because they seem to be making an effort to source their ingredients from comparably humane sources.

Came here last year's summer. I was craving for soft tacos. My music producer tags along with me. I think this was the first time I actually seen an interesting side of him. I wanted avocado in mine. And it built to $10. I was surprised. But my music producer paid for it and I did not see that coming. The soft tacos are so huge!! Once I took that first bite everything was tumbling down. My soft tacos are jumbo and fatter than my music producer. His was so tiny and small. LOL I guess I eat more than him. I finished two and kept one on the way back home for next day's breakfast!

Hey! Another Chipotle! I bet I could buy a.... burrito? Yep, they've got burritos! Of all the chain fast-foodish places, Chipotle is one of the better ones. Fresher ingredients, tastiest food, of course, for a higher price. I dunno, it's fine, but really, burrito + guac is like, what $9? So, lunch from a fast food place runs like $10-12 now, is that it? I don't accept it. Yes, I'm old-fashioned. If you want a burrito, you can buy one here, and it will taste just like you expect. Ahhh, comfort food. Hence the high rating, I think. Crazy line during lunch time. Yup. Nothing good or bad to say about this place. So why the review? Why not! Thanks for listening to this one!

Chipotle is a major chain but it does so well (compared to Qdoba across the street) because it's SO GOOD! This does not compare to any Mexican food I had in San Diego but it holds me over when I have a craving for burritos. Each burrito, salad or taco is packed with so much food you can almost just have this as one meal for the day. I love this local and will continue to come back.

Pleasant staff eager to please, if you just give them the chance. They mixed up my burrito and when I took it back, the cashier apologized, the crew remembered my order and re-made it for me on the spot. I didn't have to wait in line. Then the manager came over and asked me if he could give me a free drink or guacamole and chips. I opted for the guac.

Came here before our scheduled Greyhound ride up to Vancouver. We were starving and craving chipotle and was so happy when we stumbled onto this location.. Everything (decor and all) was standard as compared to other Chipotle locations. I got my usual Barbacoa burrito bowl with white rice, salsa, etc... In my opinion, the quality was definitely a little off compared to the other Chipotle locations. The white rice was lumpy and lacking flavor, and the meat was just not as flavorful. I was a little disappointed in that. BUT. it did still taste like Chipotle, and I love it, which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. It wasnt horrible, this rating is simply based on how it compared to other locations.

I usually like Chipotle. This Chipotle needs work: 1. Your cook doesn't seem to know how to time the food/cook the vegetables, ... something's off. 2. Walk in... and everyone's moving at a snail's pace. Are you seriously having a conversation (that doesn't seem to end) when there's a line behind your buddy? Sheesh - call/text him later. 3. No... the servers are having conversations with everyone in the line.... 4. I ordered a burrito... and the guy took forever to roll it up, and worse, rolled it up very loosely. These things need to be rolled up tightly into a PELLET! 5. Move! Greet the customer with a hello, and move them along. Oy vey......................

I've frequented this Chipotle location since it first opened a few years ago, and I'm a huge fan. The employees are always fast and friendly, even though the line can get really long at lunchtime on weekdays (the only reason I give it four stars, but not Chipotle's fault for being delicious). I think it's the best bang for your buck if you work nearby and need to grab lunch. I find the portion size for the burrito bowl is generous and consistent every time I go, and the guac is always fresh, tasty and worth the extra cost. I wish it didn't cost extra, but avocados ain't cheap! I'm happy to pay for REAL guacamole, which is more than I can say for the stuff peddled at other Mexican fast-food chains.

I have a love hate relationship with Chipotle. I hate that I love it as much as I do. Not bad for industrialized "Mexican" food. The burrito bowl is usually my favorite and I always gorge myself on chips to the point of barely being able to move. It's fresh and tasty and brings exactly what you want from chain restaurants: Consistency. A Chipotle is a Chipotle is a Chipotle.

What can I say. Chipotle is my favorite go-to place for lunch - hands down. I love the simple menu, tasty food, and friendly service. Clearly Chipotle has a corporate culture going strong where people here actually enjoy their jobs. Very rarely have I had bad service at Chipotle and have noticed that people are more often than not really taking the time to chat up customers so you don't feel hurried. Chipotle has a cool iPhone app for ordering too that seems really easy to use. Worth checking out.

I sure love Chipotle! And now that one has opened near my place! This location is really just like any other Chipotle around the Seattle area. Although their is ample seating in this area it gets really full right around lunch time, VERY full. This didn't stop me from getting my barbacoa fajita burrito with extra hot sauce. Mmmmm... It's clean, new, and tasty. I'll take a star off for not being a larger venue!

I love chipotle! This location...not so much. My blackberry got stolen in the sparsely occupied restaurant as I walked up to the register to ask a question...I left it on the table, not thinking a thing about it since nobody was there....but it was gone when I came back. I never found it, either. I asked the manager to check the cameras and he said they wouldn't show anything and he was sorry about it but there was nothing they could do. It just bums me out that nobody noticed another person walking over to my high top seat....and just the total disregard for sensitivity to my situation. I still go every once in awhile when I'm downtown, but the last two times I've waited in a not very long line for about 15+ minutes. I think I'll still to the taco truck on broadway and pike.

Been here atleast a dozen times. Even on days when there's a line wrapping around the lobby, the staff always keeps their cool and keeps the wait time to a minimum. I really like that they serve brown rice now. The food has always tasted very fresh! And the the fresh made guac may seem pricey but its worth it. Here's what I order. I called it the Super Tasty Burrito: A barbacoa burrito, brown rice, black beans, ask to add a little of the bell pepper, fresh salsa and corn salsa (for flavor and spice), lettuce, guac. I also call it the Perfect Burrito. Feel free to try. Great staff that is always friendly and very efficient. Cheers to a dozen more visits!

It's Chipotle. It's delicious. You don't need "Chipotle Be Gone" for your underwear- if you're pooping blood, go to the doctor, cause you likely got something else going on that's more serious. I like the chips and quac- way too salty to be healthy, but sooooo delicious!

a good burrito, but the tortilla wrapping dude steamed them too soon, and then let's it sit out too long so it goes back to being cold and hard. he asked me what kind of beans and i said "black beans". then they put chicken on it. they didn't ask me what kind of meat in the first place. they had to make it over. what i usually get: black beans, barbacoa, mild salsa, hot salsa, corn, lettuce, cheese. the burrito is wrapped rather loosely. and they don't do a stir of the ingredients. maybe they need to find a way to gather the ingredients into a bowl first...then mix that heaping pile of joy together, then pour it into a fresh warm tortilla at the end and wrap it up TIGHT. walking back to my office i noticed two of my co-workers walking ahead of me. i had a vision of taking my loose burrito and chucking it like a football at the back of one of their heads to see a CMG burrito explode and disintegrate into the air as their head is violently thrown forward by the barbacoa...

This is my least favorite Chipotle in Seattle. Not only is parking difficult or costly, most of the seating is up on tall barstools and the inside is so loud, it is difficult to have a conversation in the main part of the restaurant. For some reason my usual veggie fajita just did not taste like the other ones I've had from other Chipotles in town. They skimped on the guac, and very carefully limit each ingredient even though I don't put beans on mine, so my fajita turned out tiny. This is best for those who work within walking distance downtown (and even then I would prefer Q'doba just across the street), or unadventurous tourists looking for a familiar place.

I frequent Chipotle at least once a week but it was my first time at this specific location. I went to get a veggie burrito bowl for lunch on a busy weekday. The food tasted just okay. After eating, I got a bellyache. I would definitely stay away from this place. Also, it was my first time walking up 3rd and was harassed by potheads who has got nothing better to do. Come on, this was LUNCH time on a WEEKDAY. Ridiculous.

Well I was a bit crunk when I stumbled my way into this Chipotle, it was the first food place my friend and I came across in the search for sustenance. I am embarrassed to say we were in our drunken condition in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, but it turned out good for us because it wasn't too busy and they were quick about getting our food ready. I got three tacos with pulled pork and then some chips with guac, the guac is SO GOOD! My friend got a burrito that was the size of my chihuahua and she ate it in like five minutes. I am assuming it was good! The joint was clean, I used the can twice and it was clean too BUT they were out of TP the first time and out of soap... I mean how are the workers washing up! Hence my three instead of four star rating. Oh and they don't have nachos :( unlike Qdoba across the street...which in hind site I would have rather gone too. Oh well.

So delicious and healthy!! I'll tell you what to get: burrito bowl with chicken, brown rice, corn, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and maybe some avocado. Dig in. Repeat as often as possible. It is quite busy here, so come early and be patient. Now, they need to come over to the other side of the water *coughBremertoncough*

Burrito in a Bowl.... is just a disposable bowl stacked high. Loved that the condiments were all fresh raw ingredients. There was corn. There was salsa. There was romaine lettuce. Guacamole cost extra. But the cheese and sour cream were free. Customer service was okay. And I thought Mexican food was suppose to be bright and happy. This Chipolte location seemed messy and gloomy. Ambiance can be everything sometimes. Blaahhhh......

I gave in to the lunch stroll from 4th & Madison, and the line, and wanted to try somethin' out: Chicken Bowl and Chips & Guac. It was really good, service was fast, and I'd order from here again. The wall design piece is neat. The chips were a smidge too salty, though. When I have chips with a dip, they don't need salt, if at all.

  • Caroline T.

While it's true that not every meal has to be your perfect meal, sometimes a little crunchy freshness and some mild manner rice and beans with pico can be just what the doctor ordered. You know Chipotle in owned by McDonald's, and they advertise to you and do their cute little corporate personality shtick and rub their few organic-sourced ingredients in your face (but don't compost their compostable bowls and napkins..?), etc. All talk, not nearly enough walk to justify it. But hey, it's food, it's fresh, it's cheap. It is also across the street from Qdoba which is a bit cheaper, open later, not "organic in yo face", and not owned by Mickie D's.

OMG, I don't know what they put in that chicken burrito, but I'm hooked. I never thought I could be satisfied by something so cheap and basic. After all the exotic restaurants and foods I eat, I most frequent Chipotle. Somehow, I'm okay with that. I'll see it as a problem when I start bring my GF here for dinner. Oh wait, too late.

Ordered online for myself and a co-worker at 4:20pm. The online order form said it would be ready at 4:40pm. I got to the restaurant ten minutes early, but I checked in with the girl behind the counter anyway. I gave her my name and I said I was there to pick up an online order which I understood might not be ready yet. Then I sat and waited. Ten minutes later, the appointed time comes, and I go back up to the counter and ask about the food again. The employees then hand me a bag of food that has been sitting behind the counter ever since I arrived. I complain a bit, and one of the workers laughed at me, saying "you gotta just come up to the counter and get your food!" I protested that I had in fact done so as soon as I'd arrived, but this simple logic was lost on him and he moved on to "helping" someone else. Mistakes happen, no big deal, but I was frustrated and annoyed at the implication that the mistake was somehow my fault. It was clear that none of the employees cared about the problem. Additionally, if the order has a pickup time of 4:40, why is the burrito prepared at 4:25? Is this restaurant aware that burritos are traditionally served hot? The earliest time the online order form would let me select is 4:40, but obviously the restaurant is preparing the food as soon as the order comes in. This place fails Restaurant 101. Disappointing. My coldish burrito was mediocre at best. I recommend Blue Water Taco up at 4th & Madison. While it was not a positive experience for me at Chipotle, at least I've found (yet another) place one can go to view the Dunning-Kruger effect in action.

I'm not that fond of this particular location, but when an undeniable craving for Chipotle hits during the work day--this does the trick! As expected for a downtown location, the line can get long but it goes pretty fast. Since it's just a few minutes from my work, I'll place my order online then swing by the register to pick it up..no need to wait in line w. the rest of 'em :)

  • Deanna J.

I love Chipotle. I do. If I was Bill Gates, I'd have a Chipotle in my house. But this one is not my favorite. Gets busy during weekday lunch hours, but the line moves fast. If you're here during the weekend you shouldn't have a long wait or trouble seating. I understand it's busy, but when they run through the options so fast they forget what you already said, it's counter-productive. Slow down just a little so we don't have to go through the routine two or three times.. "Hi can I have a chicken bowl with brown rice and black beans? "Chicken bowl. White or brown rice?" "Brown rice and-" "Would you like black or pinto beans? -_- There used to be a girl here with a real attitude but I don't think she's here anymore.

I can ALWAYS count on Chipotle for a quick, cheap, satisfying, delicious, and healthy meal. Usually I give other locations 5 stars, but I don't like this particular Chipotle's. The management and staff are not friendly, and the location feels cramped.

I have to be honest. I only came here because I wanted to use the restroom. I said "honest" right? That said, I'm a person with a guilt complex so even though I wasn't even hungry, I ordered the vegetarian tacos to justify the visit. Well, I got a nice warm tortilla, really tasty and perfectly prepared (how'd they do that) rice, terrific black beans, some delicious medium salsa, (it tasted mild though) a bit of corn, sour cream, and cheese with a water on the side. Like I said, I wasn't even hungry but the tacos, while very American, were quite good. I shall return. I must include a bit about the staff: they were very nice, very professional, funny and kooky! A pretty good bunch. They wore gloves and hats. Good times. (Oh, if you need the restroom, they buzz you in. Yay, no junkies in the loo! Not bad for Third and Pike, I'd say.)

You know something, Chipotle you're OK. I was so annoyed after eating at the Chipotle down town I wrote to their head office--mostly because the Downtown Seattle location was such a shambles I thought I was going to contract the haunta virus, and because the customer service was scary bad. The nice burrito people sent me a gift certificate to their store. I did not write to them to get free stuff out of the deal, but that was like, waaay considerate. ha ha. I hope though that for realz they clean up house on that locale, it's a major shit hole. I am too scared to go back to find out!

I recently moved to Seattle from Minneapolis, where I had developed an extreme addiction to Chipotle for lunch. If I could have free-based their burritos, I would have. I was delighted - nay, "relieved" - to learn that Chipotle had opened a location in downtown Seattle a week before my starting work there. Food = awesome. They use only all-natural ingredients. My particular favorite is to get the chicken bowl: all the same ingredients but easier to eat than it's burrito-ed counterpart, and it reheats splendidly...it's also enough food for 2 lunches (if I'm having a strong-willed, portion control day, that is). And don't be a pussy: get the hot sauce. If you don't like spicy foods, then you don't deserve to eat burritos in the first place. I am not a lime-person, but all my friends get all crazy over Chipotle's lime-flavored chips and guac. So if that floats yer boat, I suggest you give 'em a try. Staff = friendly and smiley. Getting handed a burrito is much better when you know it's been assembled with love...like your mom carving a little heart into your peanut butter sandwich. Chipotle vs Qdoba. Chipotle wins. I prefer the taste, and Qdoba assembles their food all angry-like. I have no use for pissed-off burritos.

It's a huge burrito, freshly-prepared, for a reasonable price. How can you go wrong? It's delicious! I go with the carnitas, black beans, and corn, but tried just about every combination before settling on that one as my regular and was never disappointed. How many fast food places can you go and see employees chopping up all the fresh ingredients right behind the serving line? I don't care that it's affiliated with McDonald's - it's a thousand times better and I love it.

I am strange, I had never been to a Chipotle before and I went to UW. Yes, strange, I know. So today my co-workers and I went to pop my chipotle cherry. First, let me say, I am NOT a fan of burritos. They just don't do anything for me and I really dislike Tacos del Mar, so I had low expectations. I ordered the two soft tacos with steak and all the non-dairy fixins. Their tomatillo salsa was really good. And I actually liked the tacos, not bad for $5! The meat was a lot better than the other burrito joints, it didn't taste like it had been sitting all day. Still not a fan of burritos, but I can say I do like Chipotle!

  • Shari d.

Straying from my normal Mexican fare (tamales) I decided to order a burrito from Chipotle today as some coworkers were headed there to pick up lunch. Not being the biggest fan of meat I decided to go with the Vegetarian burrito. Ordered it with rice, pinto beans, tomatillo-green chili salsa, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. All in all it was OK...rather large (which unfortunately jump started many inappropriate jokes at the office) but worth the money. Here is the thing...I wish there were more selections. They basically offer burritos, tacos, and salad...nothing more. I have a rather small stomach and their food is rather large. Perhaps if there were smaller versions of their burritos I would be more interested in going back. All in all it was decent...everything was fresh and seasoned correctly. Perfectly A-OK...just not "Yay! I'm a fan!"

OMG Chipotle!! oh how I missed thee! I finally found a Chipotle near me. The portions are huge and so yummy! It's an extra charge for guacamole but it's delicious and a generous portion so you don't feel quite so ripped off. A burrito can easily be shared by two people. The line was pretty long when I arrived but moved very quickly and efficiently. The soda fountain is kind of in a corner so it's hard to navigate with full hands and lots of people around. The restaurant doesn't seem to have a lot of seating areas for the volume of customers but it worked out. There is only one unisex bathroom which was pretty clean and well stocked. Great job, Chipotle! I'll be back.

Ended up here after a hot yoga session we were hungry and kind of scrubby. Ordered the chicken burrito bowl which confused me at first since I didn't understand why a burrito would be in a bowl (its just the contents of a chicken burrito in a bowl instead of a burrito). In the bowl itself, the meal didn't look that big but I guess looks can be deceiving since I couldn't finish all of it in the end. Food was tasty, the line seemed long but moved quickly, plenty of seating since it has 2 levels, so overall an A-OK experience. Parking tip: If all the spots are taken off of 4th street, there's more parking in the back

Heard about Chipotle through friends before moving to a larger city, and finally decided to try this one out. Definitely a chaotic place. Very busy around lunch time, lots of noise, plus the music their playing, but nonetheless the food's pretty good, you get what you want quite literally, and getting a drink is easy enough. Seating is ... different than I'm used to. It's a lot in a small space, and you're probably going to be near bumping shoulders with another person if you eat in the store. Overall, just great. Only tried the burritos with beef and pork, but good grief, you won't leave hungry, unless you have a literal bottomless pit of a stomach.

Pretty good attempt at a delicious burrito and props for the up front transparent nutrition info. Some people go nuts over this place but ehh, decent burrito at its top. Clean restaurant and efficient system for a busy place.

I love Chipotle's food , however, I am extremely disappointed in their inconsistency and the constant mistakes that they make when I order online. I work downtown and frequently order online and bring lunch back to the office. The last 3 times that I have done so, my order has been wrong. This is very frustrating because I have come back to the office and do not have time to leave again and ask them to fix the order. I have sensitive food allergies, so when my order is messed up it is frustrating and results in a waste of time and money. With that said, the food (when it is made right) is great- but I advise everyone to be cautious when ordering online and to check your order before you leave.

Look, this is a big chain so this review is for all Chipotles. It's a really good lunch option. Fast and flavorful. I even like the simple menu options. Just great. I only give it three stars because they don't give you the little extras like they do at Baja Fresh. I like a salsa bar, free chips, those cheap little extras that make it feel welcoming.

Customer service here is probably the most friendly I have ever experienced at any chipotle branch. However the chicken burrito was just .....hard to finish..and im definately not one to leave a plate uncleaned....

I started eating at Chipotle when I was a law student back in DC in 2002-2003. Back then, the food was much higher quality then and the burritos just as big. Chipotle is still good, but the last few times I've been to the one here in downtown Seattle there has been quite a bit of fat in the meat. Nothing I dislike more than fatty meat. I got a huge glop of fat in my latest barbacoa (shredded beef burrito). And the chicken for some reason has a lot of fattiness to it (and c'mon, it's easy to buy and cook chicken so it doesn't have any fat on it). I still eat here because I'm addicted to Mexican food, but I've definitely cut back on how frequently I visit. If they start improving the meat (and I'm happy to pay for better meat), I will return to being a regular customer.

I'm usually not the Mexican food type, of any kind. But my bf is always wanting to try different things, and I we were considering this, or Qdoba. Decided to go here because I heard they use fresh and natural ingredients. It's definitely a fairly good deal for the price. The food was tasty, I got a Chicken Burrito, and my bf got 3 tacos, chicken, beef, and pork. My burrito was filling and super huge. It tastes very fresh. My bf's tacos were pretty good, but I did not like their pork. It was kind of mushy and had a strange flavor. Their chips are very salty to me, but my bf liked them. I'd go if we were nearby and didn't want to travel far. They're okay, but again, I'm not into mexican food, so it was so-so for me.

First, I'm pretty sure the address of this place is 3rd Ave, not 4th. I walked a straight shot from the office to there (in the rain), and never turned, so I'm pretty sure about this. Someone aught to change this. Second, I can't believe how often I find myself writing, or considering writing, reviews about chain restaurants. I guess the fact that I do so proves that not all Chipotles or McDonalds are created equal. I love Chipotle. I'd give it 4 stars as a chain. The fact that this one is a block away from the office I'm living out of this week is certainly a plus, and the fact that there was no line right at noon made things even better. But is it just me, or can the food quality really vary between locations? My burrito was still good, but I could swear that this one was more bland. I would think that it's just a difference between San Francisco, Phoenix, and Seattle Chipotles, but I've eaten at the one in the U District and didn't feel that way. A full investigation will need to follow some day.

The location is kind of sketchy because of the area of Seattle it's in, but the food is so good. It's a great option for quick, friendly service and healthy food.

They must make all their food during lunch time. I went to pick up dinner there around 6p and the food tasted like it had been sitting there all day. Watch out for the crazies on 3rd & Pike!

If you've tried Chipotle elsewhere, this one delivers the goods as you expect. Good service, good location, and great food. I love Chipotle! Everything from the burritos to the bowls and tacos are delicious, and pack a ton of spicy flavor. The meats are always fresh and well-cooked. The soda machine has had problems before, but otherwise top notch fast food!

*a love letter* my dearest chipotle, oh how i yearn for your steak burrito-y goodness... so many choices and yet i always pick you... because you're the one ; ) you leave me yearning for the next time i get to enjoy you as soon as i walk out the door... overcome with sadness...but that sadness diminishes the second i come back to you! it's a chore at times to get to you since i have to dodge people on the sidewalk that aren't looking where they are going and as well as avoid the bitch-slap fight as i cross the street from the walgreens but you're worth it!!! you're a hard habit to break chippo (i thought of that nickname myself!) and i can't wait to see you again. your biggest fan, bernie

Hey, Chipotle, here's a novel marketing idea: why don't you cook the rice before serving it? Because, you know, most people don't like eating partially cooked rice in their burrito or bowl. Just sayin'.

I am a total fan of fresh MEX and Chipotle delivers on price/quality/serive. I have visited stores from Seattle to Chicago. Service is fast and efficient, the food is always tasty. My favorite are the hard shell veggie tacos. They are served brimming over with black beans, sticky rice, corn salsa and guacamole! Wash it down with a Corona, and leave satisfied and smiling. Every time.

I love chipotle, I can not help myself with it, I just went there to pick up my lunch and it was pack, but the line moved fast(faster than I thought).

A bean burrito should have a noticeable amount of beans on it, in my opinion. You should not have to dig around in the burrito to find the beans. Just my opinion, of course.

I would have given these guys at least 4 stars had they not committed a sin that is all too common for establishments in this neighborhood: they close early. Having been introduced the previous weekend and really enjoyed it, I headed down around 8 o'clock on a weeknight to grab some dinner. Closed. Seriously?! Anyway, beyond their hours, their food is actually great. And they serve drinks! So go for lunch on weekends. Or early dinner.

Usually, Chipoodle is great. I got a salad today, and the there was so much fat on the chicken, I had to throw the thing away. I spit out what I was eating 4 times. Gross. Trim the fat man!!!!!

Best burritos ever! Well, tacos guaymas is better, but for 2.50 less, chipotle takes the advantage.

What's not to like about Chipotle? This one loses a point because it doesn't offer free drinks for students like the U District location does.

The ingredients are NOT fresh, the chicken is grisley, the Pico was mushy. the rice is dry and under cooked. the staff cold. I say a lady assembling tacos for the guy before me and it was messy as hell. I will never go back. Go accross the street to Qdoba! OH YEAH, my food was cold!

Chipotle is consistent each time... you definitely get your money's worth here. And the food is fresh each time. Sometimes there's a long line here but it goes pretty fast. Minimal seating at this location so get there early to choose a good spot.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
