Get: Half-order Savely Sweet & Spicy Reuben (with Garlic Fries) ($7) Elvis Cupcake ($3) Pork Tacos ($8) Avocado Butterflies ($7) Sailor Man Salad ($11) FMS has emerged as a favorite lunch destination when I want to feel like I'm loved greater than any other person on the planet. I dig on the comfy-feeling atmosphere, the attentive waitresses, and a few of the staple food items. Trying to get me to switch from my regular lunch haul (Half-order Savely Sweet & Spicy Reuben with fries) is a foolish endeavor. This panini on house-made focaccia with candied corned beef is jazzed up by sauerkraut, pickled jalapeno, swiss cheese and a chipotle aioli. A half order is just fine for me when coupled with a heap of garlic parmesean fries. And if you're a gluttonous fool (which I am), you will ask for a heated Elvis cupcake which has solidified itself as my absolute FAVORITE cupcake ever constructed and consumed. The chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting couples so perfectly with the banana ganache center that you may name your firstborn "Elvis" as tribute. Get there early for lunch as it does fill up quickly. Try the outdoor seating for dinner. Bring that special someone a cupcake to-go and exponentially increase your chances of becoming their new favorite person. Positives: Excellent paninis, cupcakes, salads, good service, cute location Negatives: Lunchtime can suffer from inconsistancy (looking at you, luke-warm fries), higher priced eatery.

This place has renewed my faith that there IS a Cupcake God and he/she smiles on these people! We were in Richland for a couple days and stopped in for lunch. They make their own focaccia bread for their sandwiches....thank you ((kiss))!! I had the Smoked Salmon Crostini and it was phenomenal. As others have posted, their parmesan garlic fires are the bomb too! We ordered 2 different sandwiches as well and enjoyed our sandwiches tremendously too. I ordered a Chocolate Peanut butter Cupcake to go.The cake was super moist, fresh and it had a peanut butter filling that i could put on almost anything. The frosting was super creamy, light and just enough peanut butter flavor to let you know its there. Im SOO thankful I got my cupcake to go! If I had tried it there, I would have bought 2 dozen and would not have considered sharing. AND nobody needs to eat 2 dozen cupcakes themselves...right?! We will definitely be back the next time we pass thru Richland. Thank you, you wonderful people at Frost Me Sweet!!

Bring your friends and family... and your Kadlec ID for a free cupcake with entree purchase! It can be a little cramped so plan ahead if you have a larger group coming in. Great place for a small or large meal, or just a sweet treat :) The area around Frost Me Sweet is charming if you like to window shop as well. I wish there were more places like this in the Tri-Cities.

I'm super sorry to report that my coworkers and I all got physically ill after eating their cupcakes this week. Some of us even missed work because of how sick we were. The cupcake was delicious, I hope they fix whatever the heck went wrong. No amount of "yum" is worth the amount of "OUCH! I'M DYING!!"

This place is my lunch go to when I want a finely crafted sandwich or a little celebratory sugary treat. They are much more than a cupcake shop and do not just serve...sandwiches. They offer food with amazing ingredients and do not just serve standard meals. They have a blend of meals from various cultures and combine items you would not normally think to put together. This is the equivalent of a big city hip restaurant you might find in ballard or queen anne. Highly recommended and lappdaddyapproved

I love coming to Frost Me Sweet, they have great customer service and remember your dietary needs if you haven't been in awhile. They have the best cakes and desserts. Love their drink menu with a lot of local wines!! Hands down have the best fresh menu in the area... Every time I go it's great!

The Lavender Lemonade is amazing, the garlic parmesan fries are also really delicious. I got the Cactus Jack panini on the house focaccia without jalapeños and I ate too much because it was so good I didn't want to waste any of it. I sat on the back couch because it was too hot outside and inside was full and I wasn't in the mood to wait. The atmosphere is energetic, not exactly relaxing but modern, clean and the decor is great. Too often I go to a place that claims to be a bistro and it is not, this place is. They are really busy around 11:30/12:00 on Sundays so I'd recommend making a reservation beforehand.

Good food, great cup cakes, decent selection of beers and wines. I just wish they had cocktails or draft beer. If so, I'd bump this up to a 5 star review.

I love Frost Me Sweet. I come in from Seattle almost every weekend to take my mother here for lunch. Besides the wonderful food (I love the grilled asparagus salad w/shrimp; my mom loves the Cuban sandwich), the service is fantastic. My mother has Alzheimer's, and the staff are about as compassionate and kind to her as I could ever hope for. My parents just had their 51st wedding anniversary, and when we asked her where she would like to eat, she remembered the "Cuban sandwich place" so we took her here. I ordered a special cake for their anniversary dinner, and the staff did a great job surprising both of my parents with it at the end of the meal with the prettiest cake. Every time I come to this restaurant, I am amazed by the friendly staff and the great food. The owner should be proud of the team she/he has created - it's exceptional!

Great cupcakes. I can't wait to go back and try a different flavor. They have a lot of unique flavors and are worth being adventurous and trying them.

Service is amazing. Everyone is so nice and helpful! The food is ridiculously good. If you get a panini try the focaccia bread! It is delicious. And the cupcakes are just unbelievable. I try a new one every time and there is no way I can choose a favorite, they are all good!

going to be honest - I have eaten here twice and was disappointed - first time was lunch - I ordered a panini - it was ok. Second time was dinner - service was great but food was lacking. I had the lasagna and it was just so so. and I hate the flies buzzing around.

I noticed all the good reviews and stopped in for a cupcake. The lady at the register who took my order was rude. When I asked what kind of bottled water is available she walked to the refrigerator, rudely showed me the bottle (instead of answering my question) and gave me attitude. I had my red velvet cupcake which was mediocre. Due to poor service I will never return...

Do not eat here ! Food is mediocre ! I do not understand why people kept recommending this place to me ! I ate here a couple of times, it was bad the first time ~ a year ago, and it was worse yesterday !! We had a salade ($14) and a Burger ($13). Let me start with the burger, low low low quality of meat, tasteless, full of cartilage, fat, nerves ... disgusting !! Walmart buns, chewy and cold ! enough said ? The salad was slightly better quality, but come on for $14, we were expecting better than what we had !! artichokes were sitting in the fridge for ages (they had a strong fridge smell), The salad had greens, canned olives, canned artichokes, small portion on chicken ! This place should stick to cupcakes, you don't need to serve bad food !!

Frost Me Sweet is definitely a go-to-bistro. From celebrating birthdays to casual date nights, this bistro has a great atmosphere for any occasion. Their food is a bit mediocre. The parmesan fries are quite good, and so is the famous lavender lemonade. However I believe you are paying more for the appealing atmosphere than the food. Personally, they have gotten my order wrong twice in the past but made it up with a free cupcake. This bistro is very different than any other restaurant in the Tri-Cities.

This is not just a cupcake place. Delicious salads, sandwiches and main dishes. And the cupcakes are to die for. You must visit when you are in the area.

This place is so cute and sophisticated looking inside, and they also have a great patio. Some of the best food I've had in the area for sure. The service is always excellent and friendly, the wine and beer list is much more extensive than most other restaurants in the area, and the dessert is to die for. Our table had to order a different dessert each, as well as a couple of cupcakes to go because it all sounded so delicious--and it all was, fyi! My favorite cupcake was the strawberry lemon drop. They set the bar super high for cupcakes here!

  • Dave S.

Not just a bakery. The food here is really good. I've eaten here a few times and am always satisfied with the food and also the service. It can be a little pricey at times but also that depends on what you order. The desserts are great as you can imagine. My favorite is the Red Velvet cake. It's a little rich for some, be for me it's my first dessert choice. For Dinner Try the cherry Rosemary Duck. It's great.

I went around 12:30. The wait staff was nice and kept my ice tea filled up. I have the carne tacos. They were pretty delish! Loved the salad on the side. My friend had the Cuban sandwich and he said it was excellent as well. The place was pretty busy. I definitely will go back and try some of those cupcakes.

Even though the building is undergoing maintenance, there truck is still serving cupcakes right in front of their building. I bought two Mexican Hot Chocolate cupcakes. They're festively decorated with marshmallows and a lot straw on top of the frosting because, ya know, hot chocolate. Unfortunately the straw looks a lot like a yellow pirouette cookie. Man did I feel like a fool after taking a huge bite into this plastic straw. Am I a fat guy that just tried to eat plastic, am I an idiot because I don't know what a straw looks like or have I been following too many food tv shows where famous chefs from Ron Ben-Israel to Robert Irvine all say don't put something inedible on the plate. Anyway, besides that the cupcake rocked. I'll have to check this place out again when the main store is open.

Great dinner! I had the flight of reds, the halibut with double veggies and no starch. Instead of doubling the veg, I got a second veg to result in a beautiful tasty savory plate. The tiramisu cupcake was very good and not overly sweet. Great friendly service. Yum!

    (5)
  • Andrea W.

Super cute cupcakes and I'm so glad there are vegan options but every time I've had a cupcake from here I have been disappointed. They are too sweet and the cakes are so light they fall apart under the weight of the frosting. Not impressed. Sorry :/

  • Dian R.

Cupcakes are unbelievable! I'm very picky about frosting, but theirs is so light and airy! Absolutely delicious!

I have been here three times, once for dinner and twice just for cupcakes and I have never been disappointed in the cupcake selection! I would encourage anyone who likes desserts to give them a try.

Our favorite lunch spot in town. Great food, friendly staff, awesome desserts they are known for. We recommend trying the crab melt on their house made bread and fries. Our favorite take out meal. Kid friendly and we like how they do their best to keep the food natural, organic, msg and gmo free, with many gluten free options as well. Wine is a bit pricey but they have a good selection of local wine as well.

I really love this place and everything I've tried from there. This last time, I ordered "The Bistro" which has Fresh Mozzarella, garden Fresh Roma Tomatoes, & Basil and it was amazing. The garlic fries were a little cold and limp, but every other time has been enjoyable. I arrived at 12 and was seated right away (On a Saturday) and by the time I was leaving, there were people waiting to be seated. I highly recommend this place; fresh food, healthy choices and yummy desserts.

Had a cooked to death rack of lamb on trip #1. Had a good Mediterranean steak sandwich today, but for $13 I would expect it to be twice the size and far more meat. I left hungry today. I am now convinced that they are over priced and their menu is too ambitious for the skill level of the chef.

  • Tia N.

The food here is awesome, I particularly LOVE the greek/Mediterranean type salad with blackened shrimp on it! So good. They have gluten free buns for their burgers that are also pretty great. The cupcakes are what most people come for, and a few times I've gotten them from the cooler case, they seem like they may be a bit old. But other times they're great and fresh, so it's a toss up really. When they're good, they are VERY good! Gluten free and vegan options also. Megan, the manager, is great. I recently ordered some cupcakes for a small wedding reception, and they were made in the wrong color other than what I specified. I sent her an email just letting her know, and received a reply back and a solution almost immediately. That's great customer service, and I will feel very comfortable ordering from them for other events.

I was excited about some gluten free goodies, but it's fad gluten free. Not celiac friendly :(

  • Stacy S.

We went in to try cupcakes. It was dark and dingy with a huge display filled with with plastic take out containers that had the cupcakes in them. It was almost like we were not in a bakery but in the back room? Not only could you not see what was in the containers they had very small signs and no prices. The cupcakes tasted great but for the price for each ($2.75) I expected something bigger than what I could easily bake up from a box at home. (muffin tin size) We were disappointed. Maybe we will give the cafe a try someday.

  • Christina A.

The food was pretty good, I did not love the flavors of my pulled pork sandwich but for those who like a drier, less sweet version you will love it. I am not a licorice flavor fan, so when that is the only thing there with no sweet bbq sauce to balance it it just doesn't do it for me. My husband's burger was great and our friend has been raving about their Holy Cow. We also tried the sourdough bread and crab cakes. Both were good, the bread especially!

  • Mario R.

Great place for lunch or an early dinner. Excellent quality food, supper friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Was amazed that they could fit a party of 16 (we were originally 6 and one thing led to another and we ended up being 16) in a very short time.

Finally a locally owned eatery in Richland with a big city vibe. In addition to be a nationally recognized baker, Megan and her team prepare fresh, unique items every day. During the summer the menu features locally grown produce fresh from the farmer's market. The chef's are culinary school graduates so the food is always yummy. The kitchen is small so you can enjoy a nice conversation while you wait... If you are a wine drinker you can sip on a huge selection of wine and for the beer lovers....you have a variety as well. This is a gem of a restaurant....I recommend you start your meal with the sourdough appetizer and end it with a fresh made cheesecake or one of a kind cupcake!

If anyone wants to open carry in Frost Me Sweet in Richland this is fair warning you will not be served. They do not have any signs posted and there wasn't a single person who told me they do not allow firearms inside the restaurant. Instead My Wife and I were given the Cold shoulder. We were ignored while the Owner or manager, who we have met, sat at a nearby table counting money. As we stood waiting another waitress sat down and they began talking. Both of them looked at us but were never greeted. We were standing 4 feet away from them. There was a woman behind the counter who also looked at us but did not come forward to help or greet us. Frost Me Sweet was going to cater our Wedding next fall but after seeing how ignorant of paying customers we will never set foot in again. I am very disappointed. My first two reviews of Frost Me Sweet were 4 stars. I get 6 cupcakes every Friday night. You just lost $20 a week! But to the owner, if you will not serve people who carry firearms you should post a sign. This way my Fellow gun owners know who NOT to give their money to.

We discovered this gem after visiting the farmers market. We fell in love instantly. The cupcakes are a little pricey for the size but they are well worth the price. When's we decided to try dinner we were once again impressed. The appetizer was delicious and interesting (avocado won tons). But the entrée was even better (chicken stuffed with goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and basil covered in a creamy Dijon sauce). We will definitely be returning!

Their cupcakes are amazing! ! The sourdough appetizer and avocado butterflies are superb. I can't believe in hadn't been here before. Love the elvis cupcakes and the chocolate peanut butter. The butterfinger cheesecake is wonderful.

One of the best American New places in the Tri-Cities. Great location, friendly service, and food is out of this world fantastic. I recommend the Holy Cow, the Crab Cakes, the Mediterranean Steak Sammich, Pistachio-crusted Pork, the Caprese Salad, and just about all of their suops du jour. Others like the Grown-Up tuna melt and the Crusted Sole. Haven't had a bad meal yet! I typically have beer for desert (of which they have an impressive selection of bottles -- no taps), so I can't personally vouch for the cupcakes, but certainly everyone else I watch with me eat them just about melt in their seat with a food-gasm.

The food was good, but the service was poor. We walked in the door and were repeatedly ignored. Every waitress walked by and purposely did not make eye contact to continue on their busy way. Felt as if we were in their way as we waited to be seated. We actually debated leaving after the "get out of the way" vibes were given from each waitress. It took a good 10 minutes before I decided to walk up to the gal at the register and ask if we could be seated. She snottily said we'd have to wait and pointed to the couch behind us full of people also waiting to be seated, but they'd be with us in a few minutes. Shortly after, a friendlier person with a smile showed us to a table outside. Another rude waitress returned to take our order. We asked for water and that was the ONLY water given throughout our hour lunch, outside! Unfortunately, the rude service outweighed the good food. I will not be back.

This place is great both as a restaurant and as a bakery that provides much needed change and product mix from what we see from the usual suspects. Great to have them in our community.

    (5)
  • Adam M.

not bad definitely a hidden gem, however their prices seem to reflect that they know it...almost 3bucks for a cup cake is a little on the egocentric side Imho. They are good though so how do you argue? ya don't. The service is decent little chaotic but friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The pulled pork leaves a little bit to be desired. Nicely cooked but the flavor is a bit off, and just a tad small for something called the big Papa. One sandwich was over cooked not only did they replace it they removed it from the bill. That shows while their prices reflect their knowledge of how good they are they haven't lost touch with the importance of a good customer experience. And for that I will return....well that and that momma Cass cupcake is just stupid good....so good make your tongue wanna slap your brain out.

We eat here all the time. The cupcakes are great. The food is amazing. If they have the "33" cupcake, get it! They don't make it often. It is worth the calories.

  • Sarah C.

Go to Frost me Sweet for lunch, but not for dessert! Obviously this is a cupcake shop, but in my opinion the cupcakes are incredibly over sweetened. Their grilled cheese sandwich and garlic fries, however, are out of this world.

  • Brandy C.

Love this place! 1st off, cupcakes are suppose to be sweet so the complainers need to stop! 2nd,this place has the best crab cakes in the Tri Cities, and the sauce is amazeballs! Locally owned and operated is the best part about FMS! Fries are Fries but decking out a Fry with Parm and herbs is even better! I am a local Chef as well and the competition that FMS gives this town by pushing other local Restaurants to better themselves is definitely what some need to do. They are not 5 star and I don't think they are trying to be! This place is a perfect blend of modern chic and retro! Love it! Keep up the good word guys!!!

  • Mindy S.

This place has positives and negatives. Positives first: great service! Cute atmosphere! Free wifi ( inside), and beautiful food. Negatives: price for what you get. The cupcakes are just too small for the price they charge. I guess without any decent competition it will be this way. Quick someone create some bakery competition in Richland.... Why hello ethos bakery soon to be across the street! We shall see how this goes...

    (2)
  • Josh M.

It's good, but not ohmygodthisisincredible good. I've only had cupcakes, and they are good. For the price though I don't think I'm sold,$9.00 for 3 cupcakes..... Oh well, probably best you can find in the Tri-Cities

  • Koni K.

Typical sweet spot. I've had better cheesecake at other places but all in all is good place to kick back chill with friends Or end a date with dessert. I would suggest to owners to invest in some ceilings fans, it will help with the heat and cool air curculation especially in the summer when the place gets really hot. Update: the post i left was from my first time being at FMS not long after thry opened. What I didnt realize was my original review didn't post when I thought I posted it. Just recently I was reviewing another place and yelp informed me i had posts waiting to be posted did I want to post. I clicked yes to post for FMS thinking it was a recent post since my last visit was oct or early nov. Guess it wasn't. My kudos for management for emailing me. I love this place especially now that they have a great tuna san. And of course great treats! Cup cakes are the best! Great menu and desserts!

  • Shan H.

Cute atmosphere :) Outdoor seating in the summer (love). Cupcakes are hit and miss. Sometimes they are great & moist. Sometimes I dodn't get lucky and they are dry & no way they are fresh. Wish they made smaller batches and could promise fresh every day so you would KNOW you'd love your cupcake everytime :) Cakes are GORGEOUS but also can be dry sometimes. Megan the owner is the sweetest lady, but food & service is hit & miss also. So close to being THERE! So close :)

  • Tami F.

Gave them a try again this last week after an invite back from the owner .. same night of the week but arrived earlier. Totally different experience than last time! Started with a sourdough loaf app. Very yummy. This time I had the soup du jour, a very tasty curry chicken plus their pickled beet salad. Hubby had angel hair pasta with shrimp - lots of plump, not over cooked shrimp and a nicely flavored butter sauce. Everything was delicious and I would go back just for the beet salad! No dessert this time..... Have a different opinion based on this experience but reserved a 5/5 rating because the soup was luke warm and the service is still a bit cold (no pun intended) .... for a small, small-town restaurant there is a "vibe" here that is not quite welcoming. This would not keep me away, but don't think they will cultivate a devoted following with this atmosphere. Recommend the owners hire some outgoing, friendly-foodie servers and they may just be able to do that with this food.

    (4)
  • Ashley A.

Absolutely blew my expectations out of the water!! The atmosphere was great and was almost as good as the food was. I would definitely recommend the cranberry halibut entree. I am going to have to try one of their cupcakes soon though, they looked delicious.

Wanted to try out their dinner everyone had said such great things. We went in around 6 there was a couple finishing up their dinner and having a cup cake. We were seated and given water. We looked over the menu it look amazing but the server never came back to our table. Waited 20 minutes before we left, with no service. Sad to say we won't be going back even though the menu Look very good. But that wasn't the first time I had bad business with them. This was their second chance. I bought a cake from them for my mother's 50th birthday and they messed up on the writing and couldn't fix it. They didn't offer anything for their mess up. It was written on the order form correctly but baker messed up. I can't say I will go back a 3rd time

I don't like cupcakes, so this review is of the rest of their food. In short, it's great. The burgers aren't the best, but they're well above average. Their garlic fries are refreshing for the Tri-Cities. The BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza is my favorite, it's unique for this town and something I'm always suggesting to other people to order. Frost Me Sweet is located in a great part of Richland, surrounded by other great local businesses and close to the river and beautiful parks.

The corned beef was some of the best I've ever had. House-candied, and with dijon and swiss- oh my god. The crab melt was fantastic. Reach past the (awfully good, though) cupcakes, people! Good, local FOOD like this isn't easy to find around the TCs.

The atmosphere and the delicious food is what keep me coming back to this bistro! Your entire family will fall in love with their cupcakes! Stop by to dine in, or get a cupcake, a delicious meal, and a beer to-go.

This review is only for the cupcakes : Ordered a couple of cupcakes after the positive reviews I found on yelp and.... the cupcakes were just OK. I was pleasantly surprised at the frosting in the middle of the cake but eventually that became the cupcakes downfall. It would have been awesome if the frosting was amazing to start with but I wasn't a fan of the texture and the heavy sweetness (too much sugar I think?, it wasn't as smooth on the tongue as other frostings i've had). Hoping to come back for the food - as the 2 times I was hoping to, both times the place was packed and they were already running a wait list to get a table. I'll put it on my list of things to do next time I'm in town - but maybe not for a cupcake.

I love this Little restaurant. I think it's the best kept secret in the Tri-Cities. I love their desserts. I love their menu. And I love the quaintness. The servers are very outgoing and personable. It's quite a surprise for such as tiny little place. My favorite,is the carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting.

What a cute little place! On my first visit to the tri-cities, my boyfriend and I had some time to kill so we decided to check this place out per the yelp reviews. We had eaten already so we stuck to dessert. I got a sugar free vanilla latte and a vegan salted caramel apple cider cupcake while he got the red velvet cheesecake slice. I'm no longer vegan but love to try vegan things still- my cupcake was surprisingly good! Great consistency even for being vegan and still plenty of sugar and flavor- hit my spot. The red velvet cheesecake slice was overwhelmingly large and could easily feed 4 or more people. I look forward to trying more sweets and venturing into their savory dishes in the near future! The only reason I marked them down a star is because the girls dropped a cupcake on the floor and left it for about 20 min. Several times workers even walked passed it. Not only was I afraid someone would slip, but I couldn't get passed the fact that they left the floor dirty with a cupcake.

Great food with a unique atmosphere. Always looking for a good place to eat that is not a chain restaurant in the Tri Cities and this one fits the bill. Not really a cupcake gal so can't share my thoughts on theirs. The name is deceiving however as I was not aware it was an establishment that had a full service food menu too. Been twice and not disappointed either time. I don't give five stars till I've had the chance to visit three times so next visit could up my rating.

I travel to Richland pretty often for work, and Frost Me Sweet is in walking distance for lunch. One of my co-workers wants to go there pretty much every day that we're there. Some of the entrees are a little pricey for lunch, but I like that there are some good, fresh, light options as well as more savory options if you're looking to splurge. I've had (and LOVED) the Beatnik salad, the Tree Hugger pizza, and the Pixie panini. We also get the blackberry or raspberry iced tea with our meals - super refreshing. Some flavors are available with a fruit puree instead of flavored syrup, so they'll help you determine what to pick if that is important to you. They rotate cupcake flavors daily and there seems to be a good combo of popular, crowd pleaser options and some that are a little more unusual or adventurous. They've always had one or two gluten-free flavors available as well when I've gone. The cupcakes are a little pricey for the flavor and size (while these are good, I've had better in various cities), but they're still a pretty good treat to top off lunch.

Truly impressed with Frost Me Sweet. My wife and I stopped by because of the good reviews, and I will say this is going to be a regular stop for us. From the minute we walked in the door until the time we left the wait staff had smiles on their faces, and treated us super well. They were super attentive, and you could tell they loved their job. Our waitress pointed out some of her favorites, since it was our first time, and recommended something for us, which I agreed to try. She also explained their gluten free options, as well as vegan options. It was nice to know that up front. My wife ordered the fish tacos, and a beet salad. For myself I devoured the 12 inch pear and walnut pizza (decided to go for a vegetarian choice). Lucky for me my wife let me try her order. Let me tell you, this was yummy, yummy in my tummy! For them to kick it out of the ball court the first time, like I said, we will be back. If you have not been, this place should be added to your bookmarks immediately.

Based on one lunch but my wife and her friends are regulars. A varied 'non standard' lunch menu with quite a few choices. Several of the party had food sensitivities which were all very well handled with lots of gluten free options and the staff were very willing to adapt and responsive to inquiries. Excellent service great food.

The little bakery and bistro has one of the more fun locations in the Tri-Cities. Located in Richland's Downtown Parkway, it has a fun outdoor seating area and a unique blend of traditional and more informal seating inside. They are probably best known for their cupcakes, but I think their food is the real attraction. The cupcake flavors are always interesting and tasty, but I think they use too much frosting (just a personal preference thing). The food however is top of the line. With a surprisingly large menu you can find something for any person or mood. I would highly recommend giving them a try. I am confident you will find something you like.

I came here to pick up 2 dozen cupcakes for my 16 yr old daughters birthday. It was very hot in the middle of July and we stood at the front of the case. There were three ladies there just talking. Another customer came in and they started helping them first. I was pretty angry but I don't do drama. I just told my self I would never come here again and I would let people know of my treatment. They preceded to ignore us for about five minutes. By that time I wanted to just leave but I wanted to get some special cupcakes for my daughter. A young lady finally asked us what we wanted and not very kindly too. Because they made us wait so long we already knew what we wanted. I think I paid around $60 dollars for 2 dozen cupcakes. I expected them to be delicious. They lady who checked me out we not very nice either. Doesn't anyone smile at this place or do they just hate Asian people? At that moment I told myself that I would never buy anything from this place ever again. I don't think I've ever been treated so badly by any restaurant, bakery, store etc. I was hoping that there cupcakes would make up for their horrible customer service. Well we got home, everyone was looking at the cakes. All we could say was, these were the ugliest looking cupcakes we have ever seen, as if they didn't care how they looked. The coconut cupcakes had a bulbous weird shape and every single coconut one was a different no even round shape just, ugly. I have tasted alot of cakes. I have lived in LA, been to San Francisco, visited Paris and I love cakes and pastries. I appreciate beautiful cakes and even if they aren't so pretty if they taste good then I can overlook them. I feel cupcakes should taste like what they are named. It it's coconut then it should have a nice tropical coconut flavor that is easily identified. These coconut cupcakes tasted like nothing. All of the cupcakes were very mediocre. My daughter and I have made cupcakes that have tasted better than these and look better too, but we only do that for fun, we don't want to make a career of it. Sadly the customer service and the mediocre ugly cupcakes really turned us off. I actually wanted to try their food but I'd rather not give them any of my money since they were so rude to us the first time we ever went there.

Wow! I've lived in the Tri-Cities for such a long time...too long to have not tried this place sooner. I went here for dinner the other night... oh my goodness! I saw so many things I wanted to try! Luckily my company was willing to share a few different appetizers so we could taste multiple things. And I enjoyed them all! Avocado wantons, Sourdough loaf stuffed with cheese and green onions, and crab cakes. They also have a great wine and beer selection. And of course, cupcakes and other baked goods! I will be coming back here many times to continue exploring their menu. Nice service too. I can't believe on a Friday night this place wasn't busy... but I'm certain that if I had went to any of the chains here in town, there would have been a long wait to be seated. I don't understand.

Very fresh food, local ingrediants. The frosting on the cup cakes can be a bit too sweet. I tried 4 of them. Amazing flavors...

Food? 4-5 Stars, no doubt. Service? 1. Maybe a two. I came to visit some friends here at lunch on a Saturday, it was fairly busy but wasn't packed (there were a few open tables here and there.) My friends had already grabbed a table, so we sat down. I waited about 15 minutes and the waitress came and took our drink orders (lavender lemonade? It was great!) She brought it out to us about 10 minutes after that and disappeared. She was taking care of some of the tables around us, but never acknowledged us after the drink order. After being there for 45 minutes she finally came back and took our food orders. A few minutes after that, a table came in and sat down behind us. I watched her promptly and kindly greet all of them and took their orders immediately, got them their drinks with in five minutes. In case the time line hasn't been clear yet: nearly 50 minutes and she had only taken our food order. Oh, still not done. :) About 20 or 25 minutes later they brought us our food: 4 Paninis and some desert. My drink had been refilled 0 times in that amount of time. My kid was getting cranky. I was cranky. My husband had to leave to go back to work. He left before the food came out! The people we were with were cranky (and very embarrassed since they talked this place up!) . I finally got my drink refilled after they brought out the food. I ordered the Italian Panini and it tasted FANTASTIC! It was possibly the best lunch I had in a long time. The garlic fries were to die for. Even my kid ate them like they were the best thing on earth. If the food hadn't been so great, this place would be two stars with out a doubt. There was no kid's menu which was very disappointing. I will go back again, hopefully get better service. If not, this will be a firm 2 star restaurant for me, even with the great food.

The Jackpot here really is a jackpot! I really think it's the best deal in town because you get a choice of half a panini sandwich, a side (I can't resist the the parmesan garlic fries), a dessert and a drink for just $11 ($14 if you want a whole sandwich). This is a great place for lunch, especially on a sunny day when the outdoor seating is available. While they're known for their cupcakes and other desserts, the lunch selection really shines in comparison to other bakery/lunch restaurants. The cupcakes are a little pricey, but with such a wide selection of flavors (I suggest the Mama Cass or Elvis for peanut butter lovers), I would say it's worth the splurge every now and then.

We went on a Friday evening about 6:30, the place was pretty much full, but we were seated immediatly. The dinner menu was pretty good, I had the stuffed steak which turned out well. Good wine list, be sure to try one of the "flights" Cupcake list can get a little thin by that time of the day, but you would be hard pressed to not find one that appeals to you We will be back again

I've had a lot of the cupcakes in the past, my favorites are the lavender and white out flavors. Yesterday was the first time Ive eaten there though. I had the Green Goddess sandwich and the garlic parm fries. The fries alone are worth five stars!! The sandwich was a little heavy for my stomach but I ate it all anyway. It was toogood not to! I will for sure be back to sample the other menu items!

Impressed to find this caliber of food in Tri-Cities. Great flavor profiles, quality ingredients, helpful staff. The good: -bean burger -vegan/vegetarian options -kid-friendly -pretty good filled cupcakes (gluten free & vegan options) Not-so-good: -coffee. Just skip it. -brie/pear/carmelized onion panini...good idea, but not enough brie so the flavor was just not there. -too much cheese on the grilled cheese The "not good" was picky for sure...that's why I still give it 4 stars. It's absolutely worth checking out.

What a cute little place! Who knew Richland was getting so Fancy! Their food food is pretty delish, i had the Pig Tacos (amazing) and fries...which were also Amazing. Nice wine selection and beer selection as well. Now on to the sweets...the cupcakes are DEElish! I had the fancy version of a funfetti cupcake, umm I'm drooling a little just thinking about it. Prices are pretty normal. The one down was that the service was just meh. I would think with it being local and not just a chain the service would be a little better. Not horrible or anything, but just not exactly what I expected. I think i need another cupcake soon though :)

The cheese cake is great! The customer service wasn't friendly. The lady with the dreads snapped at a few customers. If I was only judging the cheese cake it would've been a 5 star.

I've been to FMS about ten times. I really, really wanted to like the restaurant because of decent menu options and kept giving it more chances. The food has been good a couple times and just ok the rest. Hubby has never liked any of his dishes. The last dish I had was the "Chevre Chicken." I ordered it because it was stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese; however, I couldn't taste either since it was drowning in a mustard sauce. Someone was very heavy handed and it ruined the dish. I'm not sure what the soup or salad tasted like that night, as they forgot to bring out that course to the table. The real reason for me writing this review is that the service has been very bad most of the time. The staff has either been "not friendly" or flat out rude. It is not appropriate for the staff to be rolling their eyes or making faces at guests, but I've seen it several times. It's incredibly tacky. We've also had waitresses who were obviously annoyed at requests from guests (such as splitting checks.) I can understand someone being annoyed, but that someone should be gracious enough to not make it obvious. A smile can go a long way... So, mostly because the staff members have made us feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, I am done giving FMS another chance. Also, the cupcakes aren't anything special.

Absolutely smashing - one of the best (only?) little restaurants like this in the Tri-Cities! I had the Green Goddess sandwich, and my dh had something like an italian sub, can't remember just what, and they were both great. The garlic french fries on the side were excellent, too. Finally, the cupcakes - who else would have a peanut butter, banana, and chocolate cupcake ("The Elvis")? I had the mudslide, which was wonderful, but only 21 and up - it had a Kahlua center. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic cupcakes! Great variety. The bistro has a good variety of tasty dishes to explore. I recently had a turkey Panini for lunch that was fantastic. I also really like the lime pulled pork taco's. Burger's are pretty darn good too. The place could use a little better table set up. Over all atmosphere is great. A Tri-City gem.

We went to this establishment to order my daughters wedding cake.. We had an appointment, when we arrived we where treated badly.. Decided we still give them a second chance because it appeared that they were slammed. After setting down with them and picking out the design of the cake and flavor we where very happy.. The day of the wedding the cake arrived, it was the flavors we order but not the design it was very plan and not what my daughter had order. I had been warn from others if you want a special cake go somewhere else

Love this place. I've seen other reviews about customer service not being great, and that may have been a problem in the past, but the last several (6-8) times I have been there it has been as fantastic as the food. Cupcakes are delish-I have a new fave every time I go. Love the garlic fries and butterflies. Paninis are great. Pork tacos are a thumbs up as well.

Cupcakes are amazing... Went back three days in a row. My fave is the coconut cream an the bacon maple cupcakes. I'm pretty sure all their cupcakes have some sort of a filling. The only thing that I wish was different is that the cupcakes were at room temperature because the frosting is cold and solid. I just think the flavor of the frosting with the cupcake is soo much better at room temp. We tried lunch here but for me it was just ok. We had burgers and fries, the burger patty was missing flavor, but I think the Parmesan fries make for it. Next time I visit we will have to try something new.

Dayum, this place is good! Stumbled in for lunch with a friend after Farmer's Market on Friday and was pouting a bit because I kind of wanted a grilled cheese sandwich from Cheese Louise, just down the street. But the pout did not last long, rest assured! So many unique items on the menu, including "off the wall" paninis and pizza, my friend and I settled on sharing the Lusty Lady pizza, a combination of chicken, apple, blue cheese and carmelized onions with balsamic vinegar reduction. Just one bite each into it, our eyes lit up, we let out a resounding "YUM" in stereo, then proceeded to hover over the pizza like hungry lions over a dead antelope. Yes, it was that good. Can't wait to go back to try a panini -- well, definitely after my stomach, overstuffed from that lunch, becomes unswollen! Also want to try one of those yummy-looking cupcakes. Great service, prompt with the food and with pop refills. Like something unique for lunch? Give Frost Me Sweet a try!

This place is just what the Tri-Cities needs more of - local place with great food and atmosphere. I adore this place. Their paninis are amazing and I love the cupcake selections. Last time I tried the cinnamon bun cupcake which was fabulous! They have a few outside tables, a casual dining area around the cupcake display and then a front room with couches and tables. They serve beer and wine and the menu always has some seasonal specials. Friendly service and a classy setup. Some people have complained about the prices but I don't see a problem - this isn't fast food. You get a high quality meal here.

This review is only for the cupcakes, and not the meals they serve (though I saw a few and they looked and smelled great.) The cupcakes here are big, dense, tasty pieces of HEAVEN! I had a cinnamon bun cupcake and it was like biting into a Cinnabon in cupcake form. Soft, moist, sweet, amazing.. I'm drooling while I'm writing this review! I'll definitely be back to sample from the rest of their menu... and stuff myself with more cupcakes.

I stopped in here during the Richland farmer's market on Friday, for a post-shopping lunch. And I WILL be going back, again and again. The Aphrodite salad was fantastic- totally fresh, flavorful, and filling. The Green Goddess Panini was likewise delicious, as are the garlic parmesan fries (not too heavy on the garlic or the cheese, just the way I like them). The coffee is very smooth, and I had the Brown Butter Lavender Tea Cake (which was delicate, not too sweet, moist, and very berry-flavorful). The prices are somewhere between high-side for lunch, and low-side for dinner, but for the value I'd say it's an excellent deal. I love that they use fresh and locally-grown ingredients, and the selection for savory dishes is nicely sized. The cupcakes look delightfully creative, though I have yet to try one. Same for the cakes, muffins, and bagel sandwiches. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, all smiles and there were plenty of them to take orders and answer questions. There is also a great deal of seating all the way toward the back, more than you would expect by the storefront, so it never felt very crowded. In all, I really like this place and can't wait to try it for dinner, and work my way through the ever-changing cupcake menu!

This is a great little place in Richland to hang out. Great sandwiches and pastries. The cup cakes alone are worth the drive. Only reason I did not give it 4 stars is that it's beer selection is not very good. A local bistro should not be pushing Coors and Heineken. I would like to see a selection of northwest beers, specifically local ones like White Bluffs and Ice Harbor.

I went here for my birthday dinner tonight. Between my friends and I we basically ordered half of the menu so I feel like I can write a solid review. The girls who work there are super sweet but we called twice to make reservations and were put on hold twice for nearly 10 minutes. Eventually we called back later in the day and got through. I ordered a pizza which I have to say was horrible, I was surprised I hated it so much because everything else we got (we're a group of food sharers) was amazing! The crust was soggy and was just not what I was expecting. I was a little bummed since it was my birthday and I was the only one not happy with my order. My sister offered to get me something else instead so we ended up spending a lot more than we expected. If we are handing out stars for cupcakes fms gets a billion stars. They are amazing, I now fear that now that I know this place exists with their delicious cupcakes my jeans will not fit me for much longer. I am not a huge fan of the actual space of the restaurant it's feels pretty claustrophobic I wish it was a better layout with more space. Maybe one day they can move to a larger space.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while so luckily I found a friend to meet me there for dinner. I was definitely not disappointed. They have a nice cozy dining room including a lounge area with couches. We both tried the Crab Melt panini with garlic and shaved parmesan fries. The Crab Melt had just the right amount of flavor and the portion size was large. I could only finish half of my sandwich and fries and had to take the rest home. It was actually difficult to decide what I wanted to eat since there were several choices that sounded amazing. I definitely plan to come back here and try a new meal and also try one of their cupcakes!

Love this place! The ambiance is inviting and unique and the menu offers something for everyone. Of course, I go for the cupcakes! When I was pregnant, they were easily my first choice craving! The only thing to be said is that every time I have gone the service has been rather slow. However, in their defense it is always busy and servers appear to be limited. The staff are friendly and helpful though, so that often makes up for the wait. I have had a few different paninis, salads and appetizers and have always been pleased. And you must try the garlic fries!! And, of course, a cupcake!

Went to Frost Me Sweet for the first time and what a great local restaurant! Service and great, servers were friendly and helpful with suggestions from the menu. I had the crab melt panini (with real crab mind you) and the garlic Parmesan fries. For dessert the chocolate raspberry cupcake. Everything was wonderful! The only thing I would change next time is that I'd order 1/2 a panini instead of a whole one because here I am 8 hours later and I'm still full! Will definitely be back to support this local gem!

Meh. This place is ok, but their cupcakes aren't nearly as exciting as Cupcake Jones in Portland or Cupcake Royale in Seattle. At $3 each, these are disappointingly tiny cupcakes. The vanilla fig cupcakes were pretty good. But honestly, you'll get a better bang for your buck and just as good of a cupcake at the West Richland Yoke's....

I am welcoming Frost Me Sweet with OPEN ARMS to Richland. I love your hours (into the evenings...), your dessert selection, your wine list (someone has really great taste!) and the cream of mushroom soup is a paradigm-shifter. Also - love that you send your to-go cheesecake in a paper container instead of styrofoam AND that my bellini had an edible hibuscus. LOVE THAT. Two thumbs way up. I'm a huge fan and already am a regular.

This review is for cakes/cupcakes. I ordered two 6 inch cakes and a few cupcakes. The cakes were beautiful. I was amazed on how pretty the cakes were which is why I gave a 3. The cakes deserve a 5 for presentation. However they didn't taste very good. I would probably rate a 2 for a taste. They were very dry and lacking flavor. We had a lemon with raspberry and then a chocolate marble. Neither one did I want seconds one and I love cake! The price was pretty expensive at $30 a piece. I don't mind paying high for something great but these were not great tasting. Save you money and go to yokes. It won't look as cool but it will be cheaper and taste better too.

We had the crab panini and lobster roll special and they were both amazing. You can really tell that the ingredients are local and fresh. Definitely make sure you save room for the decadent cupcakes too.

I like some of the cupcakes here. My favorites are Maple Bacon, Creme Brulee, Helga and Salted Caramel. Didn't enjoy the Strawberry Lemonade (the lemon "flavor" tasted artificial), and a couple others so forgettable I can't remember the names. I find the frosting a little too sugary for my taste. I tend to scrape them off before I take a bite. I've only had one item for lunch here. And it was the one thing I was disappointed about, their Bistro Panini. I am not a fan of using pre-sliced whole wheat loaf bread to make panini. I was expecting more appropriately dense varieties like ciabatta, sourdough, italian or rye. The garlic fries were ok. Our server was nice, I have no complaints. But one of the ladies working the cupcake counter left little to be desired. After our lunch, my daughter wanted a cupcake, so we stood in front of the case for a couple of minutes, (there were no customers around us waiting at the time). It appeared like she was filling a cupcake box, she hardly looked at us. Didn't acknowledge our presence, not even a "hello" or "we'll be right with you". Maybe she was just really really busy. We'll give it another chance, probably will try something different for lunch next time. My daughter and I have our favorite cupcake flavors, we'll come back for those.

Love love love this new addition to the TC. The cupcakes are amazing, inventive (blue cheese in a cupcake...who would have thought) and the sandwiches are good. Their dinner and lunch menu is good but may need a bit of refining like better pizza crust and maybe a little less grease on the pannini sandwiches. However all the different combinations are wonderful. We took my mother in law here for Mothersday lunch on Saturday and it was wonderful. Thank for taking a chance on The Parkway Frost Me Sweet. Hope you survive! :)

Stopped by for lunch while in Richland yesterday. It was rather busy, but as I expected for a new restaurant right around lunch time. We were told we could sit were we liked and found a two-top in the middle of the bistro, and after a quick look around, we found that we'd nabbed the last seating. A group of 3 came in shortly after us and were offered 'the couches', a set of long, leather couches that face each other with a coffee table between, they declined and left. Such a shame! We waited a few minutes to be brought our menus, but after that initial wait, service was steady. The menu features several appetizers, a few sandwiches, several paninis and pizzas. It looked like you could ask for any of the pizzas in panini form, but the options are quite similar as is. I opted for paninis, myself choosing the Italian as the smell of garlic was thick in the are and my mouth watered just reading about it. My friend ordered the 'Grown-Up Tuna Melt'. We also both chose soda to drink, which came in large mugs, and was quickly refilled. I took a quick peek at the dessert/cupcake display case as we waited for our order. It looks like they offer about a dozen variety of cupcakes, a few cakes by the slice, some 'mini cake bites' as well as a large tart. All looked delicious. Our food arrived, large, fragrant paninis oozing cheese and toppings, but the best, BEST, part were the fries. They were ordinary shoe-string french fries, but they were topped with fresh minced garlic and shaved parmesan the had just started to melt. Oooh, so good! We both devoured out fries and managed half of the panini, but were saving room for dessert (of course!). We decided to order a slice of the Red Velvet Cake, which was three tiers, layered with thick cream cheese frosting. A little on the spendy side at $8 a slice, but it was huge! We both eat a good portion and still needed a to-go box for the rest of the piece! On our way out we decided we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try a cupcake and each got one to go. I decided on the Salted Carmel, my friend chose the Carrot Cake, although I think I might have to give the Tomato Basil a whirl next time. We had our cupcakes for brunch this morning and both thought they were so good. Very moist, rich and I really enjoyed the surprise of a filled middle. The frosting is very thick, but not to sweet, like some frosting can be, but one cupcake is very filling. Overall, we both had a great time at Frost Me Sweet, the food, the bustling atmosphere, and the desserts made it an excellent lunch spot. With the prices, I think this will be an 'occasion' spot, somewhere to go when you're doing something a little special. We both highly recommend you stop by and give them a chance, you will not be disappointed, even if you have to wait a bit for a table!

THE BEST Cupcakes you will ever eat! They just moved into the old Smoovies building. They serve food, coffee drinks and more. Indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff (and owners), you don't want to miss this place! I have been on a quest for moist, flavorful, and unique cupcakes- and I found it! No more grocery store cakes for me!

Fresh food, treated with the respect it deserves! This was our second visit, and it was even better than the first. The lavender lemonade is to die for. We could drink it by the bucketful. You truly can taste the lavender. We started this visit with the avocado butterflies, kind of like a crab rangoon, but replace the crab with avocado. The pastry was delicate and crisp, the avocado/cream cheese mixture was creamy and tasty, and both of us wished we hadn't decided to share a plate. There was almost an argument over who got the fifth piece. (Maybe they should serve an even number on the plate?) My veggie lasagna was tasty stuff. The noodle weren't overcooked, the tomato sauce wasn't overpowering. All the flavors in this generous portion were well-balanced. The accompanying salad of fresh mixed greens had house-made croutons, red onion, tomato, and shaved parmesan. So nice to see a salad that doesn't depend on iceberg! My daughter had the Little Mama sandwich, with a sweet tomato-ey sauce on chicken breast, served with some fresh mozzarella and a side of the lovely garlic parmesan fries (I liberally snitched fries). We wrapped up with a cupcake each. The salted caramel lived up to its name with a very caramel flavor. The raspberry lust could have had a stronger raspberry flavor, but I'm a rabid raspberry fan. It wasn't a cheap lunch for two, but the food was well-prepared, the service was good, and we will be back.

Went in a little after noon. Seated across from kitchen, but that didn't help with service. When the waitress did come, she gave the impression of being rushed. She maintained that behavior throughout our mediocre meal; small pepperoni pizza, and chicken panini. Pizza dough had the texture and flavor of something right out of Fred Myer's freezer. I think I counted 4 pieces of pepperoni on the pizza. The "home made" red sauce had too much garlic (and I'm Italian). The panini was okay, but thin on fixings. There were no sides of any kind; olives, carrot sticks, bread... We had to ask for a wine list, and then wait for the waitress to finally get back to ask what we wanted to drink. The wine, a Badger Mountain cab was too warm. The waitress poured a generous glass, but the wine itself was thin and acidic (not the restaurant's fault). The waitress didn't ask us if we wanted dessert, and this place features its sweets. I was looking in the deli case to pick out a dessert when the waitress dropped the check on our table. Needless to say, I went dessert-less and left just frosted, and not frosted sweet.

I have had two cakes from Frost Me Sweet custom made. They are the best. The owner is a doll and very helpful. She really goes above and beyond. I have had a few people who I referred say the cakes are on the pricey side but I shopped around on our wedding cake and the price was comparable or less. They may have went up since then but you really do get what you pay for. If you want a beautiful cake that looks and tastes fabulous this is your spot.

I became a fan of Frost Me Sweet after a friend had them cater cupcakes for her wedding. The cupcakes were delicious, with delicately different flavors like almond cake with white chocolate icing, and from what I understood, Frost Me Sweet was great to work with. Now I pop in every now and then when I need a sweet pick-me-up, especially on days when they advertise their inventive flavors on their Facebook page to tempt me on my lunch break. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and I like the location in the Parkway, which makes it a good place to spend a leisurely afternoon. Just one complaint: some of the filled cupcakes have just too darn much icing for my taste. I usually end up scraping most of the dollop of frosting off the top because the middle section of their filled cupcakes is half cake, half icing. They do live up to their name! The unique flavors alone are enough for me to keep coming back, and I'm looking forward to trying out their lunch selections as well.

I LOVE frost me sweet! The cupcakes are to die for! A little heavy on the frosting but the flavors are always perfect and the texture of the cupcakes is always soft! I've never been disappointed and will continue to go again and again! I've never had a bad experience. I've heard good things of the food as well but haven't had a chance to eat anything else they offer but i'm excited to! A great treat!

This place is amazing & is now my wife & I's favorite place to eat! The food is delicious & the atmosphere is really nice (it reminds us of a little place that you'd find in downtown Portland or Seattle) I've seen reviews about the prices being a little spendy but if that's your only gripe then you must be used to paying $5.00 for lunch at fast food places! For the amazing quality & flavor of food you get... the prices are just right! The desserts are just as amazing too! Thank you, Frost Me Sweet! We will continue to frequent your place often, like always!
