Wow! I just moved to the tri-cities from Santa Rosa, CA and thought the thing I would miss the most was the restaurants. But on my first dinner excursion, at the Bonefish Grill, I realized I was wrong. There is hope. We ordered fish with Garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables and mm mmm mmm! It was so delicious. The server was very responsible and friendly. THe one downside is we had to request a different table, the first one they were going to put us in was cramped, so yes the place is a little small, but if you can get a decent table, oh my god the food is worth it. And I'm picky!

I love this place. That being said, my review is a bit biased as I have been going here regularly for 2 years and know just about every manager, bar tender, waitress and bus boy. Their food is decent, but it is a chain. I basically go there for the bar scene, I think I have sat in the actually restaurant area twice. For the Tri-City area this is the place to go to have a martini and mingle with friends or meet new people. My boyfriend and I live about 1/2 a mile from the Bonefish and have functions with friends there on a weekly basis. Great happy hour from 4-6 and 9-close. During the holiday season they have a White Cranberry Martini, it is wonderful. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights can get very busy during the hoilday season so get there early.

I've eaten at Bonefish maybe 3 or 4 times now. The food is always excellent. The menu while not expansive rotates ever so often. The atmosphere is nice and dim but every time I go there the place is hoppin', reservations aren't a bad idea. The seperate bar area is nice and Happy Hour is a good time to go. I believe the price to be a little higher than Red Lobster but the food is all very good. You can dress causal but make it "nice casual", leave the berks and sweatpants at home. Not a place to bring kids, couples or groups fine.

I went to Bonefish with a group of friends about a week ago. The experience was ... terrible. The wait staff had no idea how to handle a big group (13 in our group), meaning that they forgot orders and seemed generally overwhelmed by us. A member of our party ordered the mussels; when they had not come after about a half hour, he reminded the waitress (kindly, mind you: we're all older professionals and, I think, incredibly unintimidating). The waitress was not apologetic and again forgot to place the order (since it took another reminder after another half hour to get the appetizer.) When the food finally came, we were accused by the restaurant manager of treating the waitress poorly and were asked to please be kinder. Myself, being originally from New York, cannot imagine such sensitive staff lasting five minutes outside of the Tri-Cities. As we were leaving, we tried to tally up the money (never an easy task with a large group). The waitress told us that we were $40 short, so a member of our party tried to recount the money which was in the waitress's hands. When he reached for the money, the waitress didn't let go, and said (direct quote): "if you touch me again, I'm calling the cops." After some back-and-forth between the waitress and the assailant, we recounted the money, and found that the waitress only counted the cash, and not the part of the bill that was put on a card. As we were leaving, the waitress relayed a message from the manager: to leave and never come back. Indeed, that is just what we plan to do. I think that Bonefish has decent drinks that you will overpay for, and food that is forgettable. It is not worth the price, nor is it worth the hassle from the incredibly testy, rude, and oversensitive wait staff.

My husband and I wanted a llittle date night. We headed to Bonefish because we heard the happy hour was great from 4 to 6 so we tried it out. Loved the apps. we ordered 5 total and had three drinks of the happy hour menu. The food was solid and the drinks are great. good value for the money. we only spent $45 + tip and the server was fast and nice.

Bang Bang Shrimp and the Calamari was great, The waiter seemed a lil clueless and it the place was practically empty, But once we moved over to the bar. The service got a thousand times better. Drinks were always full and the food was actually not bad at all. I would recommend this place for appetizers and drinks.

Had drinks and food there on Saturday evening. The drinks were very good and the service was excellent. I enjoyed the appetizers (calamari and southwest egg rolls) alot. My nephew said the burger was good. One tiny complaint, the Ahi for dinner was salted a bit too much for me.

All rock fish dishes have a farm raised flavor...tastes like chlorinated water. The steak was done perfectly for my last meal here and the drinks are always good. I just can't get past the chlorine Bang Bang Shrimp--icky!!!

Expensive but fun place! Ask for Nick in the bar! He made me a fresh strawberry martini that was to die for and offered us samplings of some expensive liquors we were interested in trying! We will be back and soon!

M y wife and I like this restaurant for the Bang bang shrimp. You need to order it with the sauce on the side, otherwise your shrimp will get soggy by the end. Their entrees are pretty good and they plate their food in a nice way. The Halibut portion is small but the salmon and swordfish are large, as well as the pasta dishes. We only come here for a special occasion as the price is pretty high for two people. The service is fine and the decor of the restaurant is nice except for the table clothes which seem to be pretty cheap.

The Bonefish Grill is one of the brighter stars in Richland's small constellation of restaurants. Its food is competently executed, if not exciting. For a chain restaurant, it's better than average, though not as good as, say, Legal Seafood back east. In Richland, it's a quieter, smaller setting than Anthony's Homeport, so you can hold a conversation without raising your voice. During my last visit, the wine list had shrunk dramatically. While that sped the evening's selection, it gave a slightly low-rent feel to the experience. Still, I would go back. At least until Legal Seafood opens up in town.

We eat at .Bonefish fairly often. If I could give half stars it would be a 3.5. The service can be a bit sketchy, sometimes it's great, and other times less than good. The bar is nice, and usually hopping a bit. Some of the bartenders are personable and great, and others act like it's a inconvenience for them to take a drink order. Happy hour is good. Bang Bang Shrimp are very popular and good.

I love Bonefish. Great food, drinks and service. The atmosphere is also wonderful. We did have one bad experience but the owner made it right. Its one of me and my husbands favorite spots in town.

Anybody who gave a bad review must be out of their mind! The staff was very friendly and courteous, as well as knowledgable and informative. The appetizers came quickly and the food arrived shortly afterward. The food was amazing and the waitresses were very pretty! The prices were a little up there but they were no worse than red lobster or olive garden. Anyway, I totally recommend it!

I've had several return visits and the more I've eaten here the more I'm displeased. The Pad Thai is far to rich and the Pork Chop with brown gravy don't mix. The gravy is not only old school it tasted a old. The price is an issue for the quality of food. The service has always been good as well as the atmosphere.

Went for happy hour from 9- close. Their singapore fried calimari and bang bang shrimp is totally bomb for the price. Good eats in the area totally. The yelp location here is like 5 blocks off.

The first thing that I will say about this place is that it is overpriced. Everything is overpriced, so just be aware of that. There are only certain items on the menu I would pay this kind of money for, and that's what I go for. Their steak filet is actually not that bad (but I've had one poor one). Their drinks are not very strong and most are not worth the money. The pasta dishes are overpriced and not very good. Anything with steak or fish will generally be quite well done. Their creme brulee is actually portioned well and very sharable. Their other desserts are not worth the money. The service is average - sometimes you get someone that obviously has serving experience and/or knows how they want to be treated at a restaurant and offers you good service. Other times you get people that are clearly just "doing their job" and nothing more. The only reason this place has a third star is because they are open later than almost any other restaurants in the area, and that works well for someone like me that works late during the week and can't be bothered to make dinner from time to time.

Food, good. Service, typically poor, especially if you're on the outside patio. We waited a good ten minutes before we got up to find a server - who let us know just what kind of day he was having. Great way to ruin our meal. Sadly, this isn't the first time. We enjoy Bonefish from time to time, especially for something different, but it is very apparent the service is just poor. The food isn't anything to rave about for the price you pay.

This place has good taste and good service, but it's nothing spectacular. Maybe I'm just more judgmental after eating at other Bonefish in far more metropolitan areas where the prices actually make sense, but in Tri-Cities, I really don't feel that the cash stamp on the menu items are particularly valid, regardless of the ritzy, classy atmosphere. Still, this has become a "special event" dinner location for me - I love seafood and they prepare seafood well, so it's OK when I'm not paying for it. When I do go, I almost always order off of the specialty menu for the evening, and I haven't regretted that yet. This Bonefish really would be a 4-star if it wasn't for the pricing.

After a couple of years and probably a hundred visits, I feel qualified to write a review. The food is solid, drinks are tasty, and the beer selection could be worse. The service is typically spot-on and they often have live music on the weekends in the bar or patio. At this point in my life, when I walk into a restaurant, the first thing I start to assess is the clientele. I prefer a place where men throw on a collared shirt and women look nice. Bonefish is one of the few spots in the Tri-Cities where most of the folks at least consider leaving their flat-brimmed hat at home and swapping their Hurley t-shirt for a A&F polo. I dare say the bar is an "adult" bar where they don't cater to the shot-drinking, obnoxious crowd. The dining room is fairly crowded and noisy when full, but the booths provide some semblance of privacy. The bar, however, is where I spend my time. I really enjoy the two "social" tables in the middle. Many an evening I've had hours-long conversations with people we just met. There are a few booths - first come, first serve - that are available for small groups. This also might surprise - I believe Bonefish has one of the best burgers in town. Their "American Style Kobe" (whatever that means) burger is simple and delicious. I know it's odd to order a burger from a seafood house, but sometimes you get tired of the same old.

I have been here several times. Its ok. The food, other than bang bang shrimp, is ok. Bang bang shrimp is wonderful. Food and drinks are very overpriced. The service is my problem. Its hit or miss. And really a good server makes all the difference. Recently we had a gathering of 10 there. The service was so bad I will never count on it to have a special occasion again. I was so disappointed. Everyone was. We asked questions that were never answered. The drinks were so slow coming I would have been better off going to the bar myself. And the food took so long to arrive at the table some guests wanted to leave. We ordered dinner and waited....I kid you not, over an hour for it to come to the table! I asked what was taking so long. I was told when they have large groups they put the food out for the smaller groups first. As preparing for a large group takes longer..... really?? So you will make 4x the money off the large group and they are given worse service? Ok? That makes sense, doesn't it?! If you are going with a party of 2-4, give it a shot. However, my advice is skip Bonefish if you have a large group. They cant handle it. Bonefish is best for the bar and appetizers in my opinion.

The food and service were amazing! The servers were very nice, but more importantly our food was fantastic. We started with the calamari which was made to perfection, not chewy/not greasy. I had the fish and chips and OMG again it was great, the fish was fresh and again not greasy. The downfall which I am sure most wont agree with me on was the live music - It was not good. Oh, try a martini or 2

I've been here when it is super crowded and the service was awesome! The food, environment, and service was perfect! They seated us even in a quiet, intimate place despite it being packed! I have been here over 5 times now and it has always delivered! Great for a date night!

I keep going for the ahi tuna sashimi and appetizers. I have problems finding an entree on the menu that I truly enjoy, but one night I tried the tuna and finally found a reason to keep going back. I also enjoy the seasonal (summer) ceviche and desserts. The happy hour appetizer menu is a really good deal. They also have salads and drinks on happy hour special. The bang bang shrimp is good and I love the sauce that comes with the calamari. On the downside, as noted above, I find the entrees are not as good as the appetizers. Also, the regular desserts are not as good as the seasonal desserts. I am also put off that they are not open for lunch.

If i can i would have no stars!!!! After being there for about 3 minutes i felt uncomfortable because of the" staff and regular" customers that were sitting in the bar at the open seating were very disrespectful! Our side of that table was not cleaned until we talked to One of the Bartenders that we knew, he was no longer working! But he took the time to ask waitresses and kitchen staff to clean off our side! No only that but the "staff and regulars" that were at that table were making comments about me sitting there at the table! They act like they owned the joint! We got in a little scuffle but to realize that the people at this table were involved in the restaurant were very disrespectful to paying customers and the owners of the restaurant! You are who you associate yourself with!!!! I will never go back...there are to many individuals that go there that think they are superior to others..and that i am not OK with! hope the business associates themselves with respectful clientele and staff! it is much needed!!!

Richland, WA: Bonefish Grill is now open for lunch seven days a week. New Hours: Mon-Thurs (11:00 AM - 10:30 PM), Friday & Saturday (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM), Sunday (11:00 AM - 10:00 PM)

I drive by this place all the time to go home and the parking lot is packed. I usually try to go during happy hours; however, that's when its prime time at Bonefish. It takes some work to get a spot/table near the bar if you go late. Their service varies depending on the waiter or waitress, I've had good ones and one's where we've had to wait forever to order or get more drinks/refills. The dining area usually has better service though. I've tried a couple of their main courses and they weren't memorable. What I really go here for is the happy hour menu. I think I've tried all the appetizers and for the most part its a pretty good deal. $5 Bang Bang Shrimp all day Wednesday is a steal. Some dishes are pricey especially for what you get, but most prices are what you would expect from a typical seafood restaurant.

  • Julia I.

The good is that they have cold beer and their shrimp appetizer is pretty decent. The bad, it's a chain where the food is not consistent. Also the waitstaff can be a bit spacey. All that being said if you want a decent meal in a nicer than average setting while you are visiting the tri cities this will do.

Been here once and was pretty impressed. I'm not a seafood eater and wasn't optimistic about the food because the place smells like fish (as expected with a name like "Bonefish") and I had flashbacks of my experience at Cedars. However, I ordered the Pad Thai and it was AWESOME. A HUGE portion of deliciousness. Not a hint of fish in the flavor. Our experience was very nice. Atmosphere is perfect and our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would consider this to be a great place for a date or special occasion dinner.

Everything about this place is average. Not bad but not amazing either. The entrees are overpriced and the meals and cocktails are nothing to write home about. However, this place always seems to be packed and judging from reviews everyone else seems to like this place. I would never go to this place on my own will but if someone suggests it I won't go kicking and screaming. One thing I think everyone can agree on is the: Bang Bang Shrimp. Delicious!

Yet another unremarkable chain restaurant in the sea of them that exists in the Tri-Cities. (Though, don't tell that to the locals, as many don't know or believe that Bonefish is a national chain.) The food and service are adequate. The drinks are on the higher-end of the price scale and not as good as you would find at a regular bar or lounge. Like most servers in the Tri-Cities, many are pleasant (did have a rude one once) but none are skilled or impressive. The Bang Bang Shrimp is worth every penny of the $10. We often fight over who gets the final shrimp when we order it. The entree prices are a little high, but when you factor in the two added sides they become more reasonable. The bar is LOUD, and when there is a band playing (nice addition, but they don't fit inside the space) it becomes difficult to have a quiet date night here.

Went to this place for the first time the other night w/ a group of co-workers. It was an alright experience, nothing appalling and nothing to yelp home about. I sat in a place which was along the path servers took patrons to their seats, and I had to laugh to myself about the "canned small talk" they repeatedly used: "so how's your day going?" Every 5th mouthful---"how's your day going?" C'mon change up the small talk! As for food, I ordered the trout meal, and I must admit it was pretty yummy. Their beer selection was fairly limited. The dining area looks a bit small, but it's fairly stylish. For a chain restaurant, the Tri-Cities could have done worse I suppose.

Best happy hour in town. The bang bang shrimp is the best appetizer! The atmosphere is an excellent environment for the tricities area and the drinks are fantastic! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because their service could use some work. I always end up having to ask for the bread...they never just bring it out. And sometimes, i'll end up having to ask for it more than once before it finally shows up after the food is already there. Staff is pretty friendly non-the-less.

As far as restaurants in the Tri-Cities go, this is normally one off the best. On my last trip to Bonefish we started with the mussels appetizer. This is probably one of the best things they offer. The broth was so good you wanted to pick up the bowl and drink it when the mussels were gone and it went perfectly with the fresh bread. I had the filet. It was cooked medium just as I had asked and had an excellent flavor. The jasmine rice was not so good, probably should skip that if you have the choice. My wife had the halibut cheeks. It was over salted and a bit chewy, not acceptable for a $28 plate. The atmosphere is pleasant and they typically do an excellent job. This particular visit our waitress seem like she had a few to many tables and was having trouble keeping up. Took 10 minutes to get the check after we asked for it and then another 10 to get our credit card back. In their defence, it was a busy Saturday night. The one thing that I would like to see change is that the tables are way too close together. I have heard of intimate, but I felt like I was part of the three tables conversation around us. A little room would make a lot of difference.

The restaurant is a bit on the small side but the place was jumping when we arrived. Our experience could not be better from the comfortable booth we sat in, to the amazing Server that made our time here that much better. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp appetizer - very yummy and done very well; the Fish Tacos - excellent; and the Key Lime Pie for dessert - uh...yummm! I am now a Key Lime Pie fanatic. Overall, an excellent choice considering I got the idea to come here from my fellow yelpers. Thanks for the great reviews on this place, it definitely capped off our trip to the TriCities.

I love this restaurant! Their food is all delicious, the staff is always friendly and great. Even on super busy nights I've still have great service. Great place to go for dinner or appetizers and drinks! They have great happy hour deals. The bang bang shrimp is die for. Also I've been there late on weekends and they have a band which is always enjoyable! I would defiantly recommend this place. I haven't been there for their breakfast but I've been told my several family members that it is excellent.

I'm a fan of Bonefish Grill because there aren't too many places in Tri-Cities that are better for the quality and price of food. I came here with a group of ten with reservations, (thanks high school graduation weekend!) and we were quickly seated. I've been here a couple times in the past over the years they've been open and I'm pleased to say I've always had a quality and consistent experience. My little sister, the grad, wanted to come here, so here we came. I don't eat seafood, so you'd think this is an immediate NO THANKS for me, but I was able to survive off of the coconut chicken and bang bang chicken. For my entree, I had Lily's Chicken, which was surprisingly tasty! I don't expect much from seafood restaurants because they have bigger fish to fry (zing). We had a great time and Bonefish is an accomodating restaurant for a large group of people.

Food poisoning both times we came here. This was despite the fact that my Mahi Mahi steak was overcooked. Anyway, as a physician I can tell you the type of food poisoning was toxin-mediated, probably from Staph aureus, which comes from food handlers contaminating the food, and not because I ate anything raw or undercooked. I was vomiting so hard last night that I burst a blood vessel in my eye. Thanks a lot. Never coming back.

We ate there last night for the first time, I was very disappointed, hard chairs, plastic table cloth with brown paper on top. Order the lobster dinner, very small portion it was only maybe 1/3 of a lobster tail, I do have some food allergies and it was difficult to order because most of there food is pre-prepared not fresh cooked. The waitress and waiters were excellent. We spent over $50.00 for two witch is ok but we both left still hungry, maybe it was what we order because people were leaving with dogie bags.

I came here last night with my parents and was not particularly impressed. The food was decent (though not amazing), the service was mediocre, and the ambiance was nice (though a bit too loud). We shared the bang bang shrimp as a starter, and it was delicious. The complimentary bread was also soft and tasty. Our entrees were decent. My halibut special with spinach, mushrooms, and crab with a chile lime sauce sounded better than it tasted - it was ok, but not particularly flavorful. My dad liked his cod special, but found it too rich and buttery. My mom required a special, no seasoning preparation for her salmon, and we appreciated the fact that they were able to accommodate her needs. That said, she found the salmon a bit overcooked and dry. The service wasn't the greatest. They forgot to give us bread plates, and only brought them when we asked. In addition, when my mom asked for water without ice, they forgot, and only brought it after we requested it a second time. In addition, our entrees took quite a while to come out. Last but not least, our waiter didn't really seem open to feedback, and asked "Is everything fantastic?" after the food arrived. It was a disappointing experience overall, and we concluded that we much prefer Anthony's for seafood in Richland.

Way too expensive for the food you are getting. Honestly the best thing I had was the complimentary bread they give you. I ordered the pad thai noodles and they were SOAKED in teriyaki sauce, it was almost non-edible. The bang bang shrimp was pretty good but a little expensive for an appetizer. You are better off at Panda Express ordering their honey walnut shrimp. I ordered a raspberry refresher that was also not so great. I wouldn't come to this restaurant again...

Yet another very great experience at bone fish of the Tri cities. Staff and serving staff go above and beyond with a very good attitude and service is spot on. Every time. The cook staff is amazing. We were close enough by to hear the orders as they went out.. And everyone was communicating back there and it showed in the presentation.. I will be back. I will be hungry. And bonefish I know will continue to pour out good food.

Food was a fail while service was great. I visited here last night during a work trip and this place came highly recommended by my hotel and they also had a coupon for a free Bang Bang shrimp. These were decent, too much sauce for me and not crispy enough. Once I had a few crispy pieces, I expected more but rather found a bunch of soggy shrimp. I ordered a special (crab crusted cod). The first time it came out, it was overcooked an rubbery. The server saw that I was not enjoying it and offered to send a new one out. The second one came out and the center was cold--this tells me these were pre cooked. My favorite part of the meal with the ginger candies on the mule, but the drink itself was really sweet. I may have came on an off kitchen night, but at least the service was great.

My friends and my husband and I went out for dinner tonight at this place. It's way to overprice for the portions you get on your plate. Service was just awful, very slow ,very under staff, only one waiter for all those tables. He waiter himself was amazing he was nice and very attentive he gets on star for that. The other star is for the bread, the only good thing I ate today. I had the lobster roll ,the meat was good but the bread was very soggy, no mayo, the fries that came with it was just awful undercooked, and soggy. This was suppose to be my husband's and mine goodbye dinner before we head back to Chicago, but these place didn't made it memorable at all, I'm glad my friends were there to make it fun. Definitely won't be coming back.

We had a bad experience about six months ago and recently tried again. Still not impressed. The bread came out with our meal, not beforehand. Our waitress was so busy if you needed anything, you had to wave at her and then you hoped she would see us. I had the bam bam mushrooms which were good but the lack of service will stop us from coming back.

I've always enjoyed my meals at Bonefish Grill. No complaints there. Today I had lunch and when asked what beverage I wanted I asked for a lemonade. They told me they had regular, strawberry and peach. I decided to try the peach. They put a peach syrup in the "lemonade". I immediately tasted the artificial sweetener in it and when I asked about it (too late, apparently) I was told it was made with a lemon flavored power drink they have. What??? THIS is not lemonade in my opinion! They should have told me from the beginning that this is how they made it. I detest artificial sweetener and would NEVER have ordered this had I thought it was anything but fresh squeezed or made lemonade! The waiter DID NOT even offer to comp the drink. Plus, he never offered their bread and herbed olive oil that they have ALWAYS offered in the past. Not pleased with the beverage or the way my displeasure was handled (NOT handled).

The food was very tasty and the service was average for a restaurant like this. However, someone there was very dishonest. I paid with a credit card and, stupid me, left all copies of the receipt on the table. It's been 3 days since I was there and I just now noticed my credit card was charged for more than I wrote and signed for on my receipt. It's only a few bucks more but that's not the matter here. I just wonder how many other people were charged more than they intended.

Had dinner here with my husband and his clients. One person had the lamb lollipop off the fire and ice selection. Much to our surprise, he was given generous portion, 5 pieces and all other restaurants around only given 2-3. The Yukon potatoes was scrumptious. The tuna tartar was was different. And the seared sashimi was like any other restaurant. After you've eaten in Hawaii and Japan, well mainly Japan, seafood just doesn't taste the same. My go to dishes are the bang bang shrimp and calamari. You can't go wrong with either of those choices. The service was a little slow, but I don't think anyone really noticed. They were all preoccupied with drinks and intriguing conversations.

The food wasn't bad, but it was really, really slow. The server was really apologetic and the manager was helping out with serving food and taking orders, but it took forever to get anything (water, soda refills) and we just gave up. The food itself took forever to come out, as well. It was a Monday evening, so maybe they were busier than expected and got overwhelmed. Still, nothing on the menu was enticing enough to lure me back.

Bang bang shrimp is the best! I really enjoyed my trips to this restaurant. I've been a few times and was always pleased. Had great service every time as well. I recommend it

Someone said Bonefish is average w. above average prices and I totally agree ! Both times I've been there, I've always left thinking the service could be better . I dunno where their servers disappear to, but wherever they go, they stay for a while . It's very annoying .

My brother, his wife and I went there May 13, 2015 and we all had the filet mignon. It was one of the most disappointing filets I have ever had. It was SO thin and not prepared well at all. But it was just so 'average' that for the price, we were all left feeling cheated. I could have been at the Sizzler and had something similar. And for the price? We all were unhappy with it. On the positive the au gratin potatoes were amazing. Wish I had two orders of that and nothing more. Really - for the price they charge for steak? This was such a disappointment.

My friend & I received celebrity status & service tonight at Bonefish Grill. Food, as always, was amazing. And our drinks.....delicious. Thank you, Manager Tyson, for making our visit the best experience it could be! You went above & beyond our expectations!! I have to say they make the best Martinis in town!

Don't go on valentines day. My group of 9 waited 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and once we were, we were ignored for another 45 minutes. They served us bread and we never saw a server again. The place had emptied out but the servers were nowhere to be found. I gave them 2 stars only because I've been there once before and the service was just fine. Also, the floors are really slippery so ladies, if you wear heals, be careful. I've slipped both times I've been here.

  • Mitch T.

Especially considering how packed it is, our service was great! The food was served fast and well! Salads were fantastic, and the bang bang shrimp was outstanding! The place was full, but we were still seated in a matter of minutes, and despite the crowd, there was a great mood both in the restaurant and the staff. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely delicious and fresh food. I had the crab crusted cod and corn crab chowder. Wife had the Kona coffee crusted rib-eye and everything including the service was amazing. Decent prices too.

  • Gracie T.

Number one, our service was excellent! The waitress was awesome! She took our orders and transferred the information back to the kitchen without writing anything down. Our food and drinks were out promptly and more importantly, correctly. Number two, although Bonefish serves up fish, the prices are pretty great considering. Bonefish offers you more bang for your buck than Anthony's by far. I'll definitely be back! Thanks for top-notch service and delicious food!

In love with the Bang Bang Shrimp tacos. We go here all the time for dinner and their lunch menu during the week is bomb. The only drawback is the slow service. Multiple times has our waiter forgotten about us or not entered part of our order. Maybe eat in the bar...

I like this place, hence the three stars, the food is exactly what you would expect, the service is just fine and the ambiance is great especially on a weekend night. My only qualm is the price for top shelf liquor. I hate to put a review on one establishment that probably doesn't have any say in the pricing of their product but hopefully somebody higher up gets a clue. After spending a fun Saturday night at the bar hanging with friends I decided a good glass of scotch would be the right night cap, and was sorely disappointed. 30$ for a single shot of scotch (Balvenie 21) is just too overpriced in my opinion, especially when any other restaurant that offers the same is almost nearly half that price. If you want to have a fun night on the weekend and are looking for a good spot for a couple drinks before going out, bonefish is great, just stick to the mid range bar items and you'll be just fine.

Love this restaurant! Amazing food and service Cozy and comfortable. Lighting is amazing as well. Very clean and family friendly. Gives you the option if either the lounge or restaurant side. Happy hour is perfect timing as well and am serves on either side and patio. Patio is very modern. Excellent customer service

First time here but I am not sure I would be coming back anytime soon. Being from out of town (from SanFran) and being a PALEO eater, my expectations and choices of food are very limited in this small town of Richland. After reading reviews about this place and a few recommendations from locals, I decided to try this place. Ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and a glass of Malbec. The 2 stars are for the food and wine. The fish was nicely grilled and vegetables were steamed just as what I asked for. The -3 stars are for the CRAPPY service. There's only 4 of us on the bar and the bartender does not even check up on us how our food was or if we needed water or anything else.. What a SUCKY service. Seriously!!! And for that I only gave 12% tip , I should have given her 10% instead . I will just go back to Anthony's PORT or Mustang Grill for great SERVICE and good food.

(Five Stars in Tri Cities, WA) The Tri-Cities is probably one of the worst restaurant destinations I have ever lived in. With the intellectual demographic, one would think that this region would be covered with great restaurants, but instead we have chains. I hesitate to call Bonefish a chain due to the negative connotation. Bonefish was excellent last night. The service was astounding, the halibut was great, and of course the drinks. We had a bad experience at Tony's on the water and I don't think we will go back for awhile. We gave Bonefish a try and it was a great treat to have great seafood at a reasonable price. I do hope we get some better restaurants, but in the meantime, you should definitely be please with Bonefish in your top 5.

I'm not blown away, but it's pretty good. The Bang Bang Shrimp are yummy, but like some other reviewers have mentioned, they are so built up that anything less than the best shrimp in the world are a let down. So, the moral of the story is: the Bang Bang Shrimp are good, but they don't haunt my dreams or anything. I had the Chicken Marsala and my husband got the American Style Kobe Beef Burger. We in no way were disappointed. The burger, I think, is notable because it costs about the same as a Red Robin burger, but was HUGE and more delicious. Sealed the deal with a pretty standard creme brulee. We'll eat there again, but probably only after we cycle through a few other places in town.

Cozy bar and good happy hour which runs until 6:30 I believe. Favorites are bang bang shrimp, potstickers, ceviche, and the non happy hour crab-encrusted cod. I'd rather eat in the bar than the actual restaurant - better ambience.

Bonefish is great for any meal! This restaurant should have received four stars, but keep reading, I explain why only three. I really like their lunch menu, and the service is fast enough that you will be able to get back to work in about an hour. Actually, I've never had bad service! Whenever I go I like to start off with the bang bang shrimp, and today I had the curry chicken with jasmine wild rice for the first time. I highly advise you to try this one. Love the curry flavor, and the wild rice really good! Something different than the normal Bonefish flavor. One thing to remember when going to this Bonefish is that this is a franchise, and they DO NOT honor the special prices that their corporation posts on facebook, or may send you via email. The explanation that I received was "because its a franchise, and food costs are outrageous in the state of Washington, along with the minimum wage increasing like 25 cents every year, we don't honor that". Frankly, this bothers me. If the company is advertising $5 bang bang shrimp every Wednesday (which they do via facebook, every Wednesday), and this restaurant is charging $6, its really bogus, and its a dollar, (I know only a dollar for me too, but still)..... Also, while I'm at it everyone should know about the $19.99 lobster and scallops meal advertisement on FB is wrong too. The Richland location is charging $24.99, again, due to food costs and all the other jazz. I hate to being the negative Nancy with this review, but I pay attention to specials, and if they are not honored that's not very cool. Corporate should stop getting everyones hopes up, or the restaurant should just eat the cost. That being said, I really love the food, flavors, and service so I will continue to come. Again, its a great place to eat, so its hard to write about this. Always been happy except for this small thing called specials, prices, and advertisements... Cheers!

I was hoping 3rd time would be the charm but fail again. On Monday's they have the bison blue burger for their special and the first time I didn't get my food until 50 minutes later and it was overcooked/dry (asked for medium rare). The second time I almost sent it back because it was overcooked again but I was with my 2 y/o and we didn't have time to sit around waiting for a re-order. This last Monday after another wait time of 45 minutes or so watching everyone else get their food I walked out. 2 stars just for their bread with pesto and oil.

Everytime we go, we always order a variety that excites the taste buds. Coming from Vegas, we have a pretty experienced palate. Always happy with our experience at Bonefish, service, food, and atmosphere are consistently great! And accomodations are great, considering we have two kiddos...so it says a lot, pushing the envelope with this crowd...once parents, always parents!

Bonefish is average w above average pricing. Everybody raves about the bang bang shrimp but its covered in too much sauce in my opinion. Everything I've had there was just good, but nothing special.

  • Kate K.

My husband and I really like this place. We almost always go during the happy hour though where they have delicious discounted appetizers. I have to say that for the price and quality of food I believe this place is a million times better than Anthony's. We have always had good or excellent service. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is I've found that some dishes are not always consistent. I really like the mussels fish, but it seems to change every time I order it. It can be hit or miss.

  • Mary Ann S.

It's fine. Service was fine. Lemon drops were fine. Atmosphere was fine. Baja Fish Tacos were fine, but as Mr S says, "where is the fish?" Yes, for $11+ for 2 fish tacos, I would expect more fish on my fish tacos. Flavor and spiciness were good, though, for what we did experience. So, all in all, just fine. Not exactly a destination restaurant for us, though.

A nice spot for lunch. Finally opened for lunch the Bonefish offers a variety of options and daily specials. The service is always good and it is quiet enough to have a nice conversation. Try the corn and crab chowder. Yummy!

Bang bang shrimp is a favorite and the drinks are great if you can set a server to take your order. We had reservations for a party of 8 for a late dinner. They took forever to seat us then finally put us at a booth where our party did not fit comfortable, then they finally moved us to our table only to seat us and ignore us. We sat there for more than 40 min without anyone taking our order or even take drunk orders. I don't see why they would let is make a reservation if they did not have room or time to take our order. We left after an hour of bring ignored and we were very hungry. We still go to the bar sometimes but the service there is not very good either. Overall their food and drinks are great if you're lucky enough to be served and seated.

Environment is great, excellent Happy Hour options, both drinks and food. Would be a 5 star if only the service was better in the bar area. It's not that busy and we only see our server every 10-15 minutes. Not the best, but could improve. May just be this specific server. Highly recommend this place though for your Happy Hour fanatics.

I love Bonefish Grill for lunch. My teenage kids and I ate here last on January 3, 2014 and the experience was great. The restaurant was not busy, and the atmosphere quiet so we could visit and take our time. I had the kobe burger with salad which was cooked just right, and my kids had the fish and chips which also were excellent. Their fries were great, and so is the bread. Lunch seems to be somewhat reasonably priced for the quality, and we like to draw on the brown paper with the crayons. Our server was also excellent, very friendly and nice (she should have written her name on our brown paper and I would have remembered it). I have to agree with Michelle D. review about not getting it with the Bang Bang shrimp. Tried them long ago and they not that great, maybe you have to have a few drinks first.

Yesterday was the first time I'd ever been to a Bonefish Grill and I quite enjoyed the experience! We came around 1:30 for lunch so there weren't too many other tables. They have a bar area you can sit at or more of a dining room. They have a lunch menu that we ordered from, including our drinks: We ordered raspberry martinis which had a yummy flavor but the best part was that they added fresh raspberries that were delicious, especially since they aren't really in season anymore. For lunch I ordered the fire roasted chicken sandwich with a spring salad as the side. The chicken sandwich came on a toasted burger bun with avocado, onion, lettuce, cheese, the chicken and a special sauce. The chicken was cooked just right and all the toppings complemented each other nicely. It was delicious, a little messy since everything wanted to slip out on me, but delicious. I also tried the gumbo which was quite tasty as well! A lot of their traditional dishes seemed to have been given their own twists, drinks too. They had a Black Cherry Guava Mojito on their menu that I really wanted to try but didn't have the time, next time for sure!

I just don't get it!! A friend RAVED on and on about the Bang Bang shrimp.WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED. We went here for lunch while waiting for our car at tire shop next door. We wish we went to the fast food instead. We tried the Bang Bang shrimp and another appetizer that i can't even remember name. I ordered Crab cake sandwich special. It was ok as taste goes I guess, kinda dry. I couldn't eat it as a sandwich because it all fell apart. It was a little burned. Hubby ordered catfish that taste like old frying oil . Son ordered mac n cheese kid meal the noodles way under cooked. Even the ice tea was terrible. It taste old and smelled WRONG!! I saw this place on t.v. and it received great reviews.I don't know what happened. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! NOT EVEN IF IT WAS FREE. It was also expensive for lunch.

The only reason that I can see why Anthony's is still open in the same area as Bonefish is Anthony's has a great view. Even the worst server at the Bone can work circles around the best Anothony's has to offer, even if they lost a leg! I have been in a few times and really like the food and atmosphere here. While it has been mentioned that they are a chain, I think they do better than most and don't seem to have that chain feel. I will say they are expensive, but I am willing to pay more for good food and good service some times, and have always gotten both here. There are so many differing reviews on this place I am just going to say it is worth the risk if you want to try something a little upscale in the bedroom community we call the TC. And while you are there, you may just catch me mowing down some grilled halibut or other fish with a nice Washington vintage.

Where to start... this place is REALLY good! I really dig the atmosphere, especially when there is live music in the bar. Great martini's! I've never had a bad drink here, and one of the bartenders, Krista, once made me a drink of her own concoction which I hope to have again sometime! YUM!! I always receive friendly service here, and if I'm going out for seafood in the Tri-Cities, this is the place I prefer. So much good food, and happy hour is a GREAT time to go and try a few different things. Some of my favorites; Bang Bang Shrimp, Seared Ahi Tuna (the four stars are because sometimes they over-cook the Ahi, but when it's done right, it's the best ahi in town), the Lump Crab Corn Chowder, Crab Cakes...I think this list could turn out to be pretty long. :) It's extra awesome that they are now open for lunch giving more opportunity to enjoy their delicious food. :)

Giving this Bonefish a two-star review for lack of service. The service started off fantastic... But dwindled quickly. One waiter introduced himself and got our drink order and appetizer. Another quickly came and got our dinner order. Appetizer came out quickly. Asked for chopsticks - came after we had eaten appetizer. I ordered a cup of soup and a house salad with shrimp as my main dinner (was going lite tonight). The salad came out before the soup with no shrimp. I sent it back for the shrimp. In the meantime - my associates fish came out along with my cup of soup. We asked about the salad at that point - the waiter said he'd check. About 10 minutes later and after my associate had finished his dinner the manager came out with my salad with 4 grilled shrimp and said sorry. Once we were finished with everything, it then took 15-20 to get the bill settled up. Been to Bonefish Grilles all over the country and the service has never been this slow. The restaurant was not very busy at all either, maybe 6 other tables total. The food was good as usual and the hostess was very friendly.

It is a chain and like most chains the further away from HQ you are the worse the service/food gets. I am used the superior service of Orlando's Bonefish grill and was disappointed in the service here. The food was adequate, but the steak was not as tender as it should have been.

I eat at bonefish ALL THE TIME! they have a sweet bar and good food. The blonde bartender with the blue eyes is very attractive. I recommending eating fish tacos and washing them down with 6+ fireball shots. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Ahi tuna (sushi) as always from BG is overcooked. Seared to them means medium rare, even when you specifically ask them to not over sear it. Typical also of BG are the high prices and loud environment...this BG did not disappoint on either of those. Bang bang and Baja fish tacos are my preferences and were typically decent. Blah and meh for the rest.

  • Stefanie H.

I've been here a few times, the food is always pretty decent. I just don't really like the vibe. Feels like they are trying to be fancy pants, and are kind of stuck up because of that. That said, I'm a sucker for the Bang Bang Shrimp...i could eat it all day...well not really, that would be crazy, but it is pretty delish. The wait staff, are nice....ish. you kinda feel like they really don't want you there--unless you plan to tip really well. Either way, if a big group of people are going, I'll go, but i wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Bonefish is our go-to fish/steak restaurant when entertaining family and friends. We've never had a bad experience. Food has always been spot-on and correct. Waitstaff does a nice job. Attentive without being obnoxious. Bang-Bang Shrimp is a must-have appetizer. Only downside is the noisiness of the bar. We always a request a table as far from the bar as possible. From the reviews below, the bar is clearly popular and the bar crowd clearly enjoys itself. Unfortunately that can detract from the dining room experience.

    (4)
  • Chris F.

Ive been meaning to write a review for this place for some time now, but I keep going back, in hopes of something being better maybe? I have this love-hate thing going on with Bonefish. On the positive side, the bar atmosphere is fun, this is perhaps my favorite happy hour place so far. The martinis are great, I really enjoy the raspberry martini and the hypnotiq breeze martini (it even comes with a blue glowstick!). The appetizers are tasty as well. Protip: You can order the bang-bang shrimp sauce on the side and they wont get soggy. Now, in my opinion, where this place fails is the actual restaurant. Ill start with the bread with pesto oil. Great idea I'm thinking. Unfortunately the pesto is salty. Like ridiculously salty every time after perhaps a dozen trips there. The steaks, well they are ok I guess but the temps are always off. Ive been asking for medium and getting med-rare. Fortunately I like med-rare but if I asked for med-rare who knows what would happen. Now for the fish.. The halibut was fine, not something to rave about but not bad. I had the pecan trout and that sucker was so greasy I couldn't finish it, I guess Bonefish thinks I need to lubricate my insides. Or something. Had a strawberry shortcake dessert there once (out of season) and it was top notch. Now, for my biggest pet peeve about this place... I don't know what Tri-Cities folks are expecting (or ok with), but when I go to a restaurant that charges over $20 for an entree, I want it to not only taste good but also *look* good. Seriously Bonefish, you fail HARD at plate presentation. More often than not the food looks like it came off a cafeteria line, no attention to detail at all. I laugh every time I see my sides in the shape of damn ice cream scooper! C'mon, that's GHETTO! I expect that when I'm pushing along a little plastic tray with compartments on it, where's my little milk carton? Would it kill them to make the little shell shaped scoop with a spoon? That's one of the first things I learned when I started working the hot line at fine dining places. Or how about, you know, a garnish like some chopped up parsley or a sprig of rosemary. Something! Just act like you care rather than slopping the sides on my plate with an ice cream scoop and throwing the protein down. Check out the picture of the steak I got (that is as-is other than me putting salt and pepper on the steak) The service tend to be good and overall I like the staff. I give the left hand side of the establishment (bar) a solid 4 stars. The right side (restaurant dining area) 2 stars. Comes to a three. Bottom line: Bring your friends for cocktails, definite thumbs up. Consider migrating somewhere else for dinner though if you want a nice fine dining experience.

This review is for the wonderful appetizers served at Coldwater Creek during a Women in Pink benefit. The restaurant sent a chef with assistants and we had demos and many wonderful appetizers. Not only was it fun and the food exceptionally tasty - the chefs and staff were friendly, gave preparation tips and made all tasters welcome. Most Yelp readers know that I hav equite a background inthe food and beverage industry so when a staff impresses me - it is a big deal. I didn't win the dinner for 2, but I know I will be celebrating at their restaurant some day when I return to Richland.

Seafood happens to be my favorite type of food. I have to admit i do not like chains, but my husband didn't tell me it was one until we were eating dessert!! It doesn't feel like a chain, the food is very fresh, the dishes are interesting and absolutely delectable, the servers are always great there. It is a pricier restaurant but so worth it. However you can always stick to their amazing appetizers during their happy hour which are packed with fun after work crowds! Their drinks are fun, very good (even their bloody maries) Bang-Bang shrimp is perhaps the most devilish of dishes ever made! I really truly feel that this is the BEST place for fish in the tri-cities.

I have to admit up front, I have not gone in a couple of years. That doesn't mean I don't remember the wonderful taste of Icelandic fish plate I had. I would specifically tell you the dish I had, but I forgot the name of the meal and they don't seem to be on their menu. That hasn't stopped me from asking around and finding out from other people how they like it at Bonefish. All reply's seem to be the same, for a somewhat pricey meal it was made to perfection!

I can't stand the food at this place yet I always let my friends drag me there. Everytime I go I think maybe it will get better. NOT! One time I ordered the Mahi Mahi and it came out raw. They asked me if I wanted to substitute but I didn't want anymore of their food. Another time I ordered the clams, I had them before and thought they were decent but this time they had a bunch of sand in them. I've eventually learned to just stick to the appetizers and martinis here. Sometimes you get good service and sometimes you get none. Anthony's is just as bad. The food here is on par with Red Lobster. It's just a clean nicer looking restaurant with overprices bad seafood. Maybe they need new chefs? I swear if my friends try to drag me there again I will vehemently protest or they shall pay for all my drinks!

Thanks again Yelp! for helping me find a decent place to eat & throw back a few glasses of vino in a city I've never been to. I had the misfortune of having to go to Kennewick for a convention (no offense Tri-cityites). Everything that could go wrong did on that trip - except for my pleasant visit to Bonefish. They have a great menu & wine list. I ate at the bar and the friendly bartender , Alison, helped me decide what to eat and kept the pinot flowing. The bar crowd was chatty and mellow and it was great to watch the gold digging divorcee (divorced 4 times, I overheard) try to pick up on a fancy watch wearing guy. The way she adjusted her boobs for optimal cleavage when he sat down next to her was so sly. I could tell she's had some practice. It was quite humorous listening to her attempts at pretending to know anything about politics. She wasn't fooling anyone, but he didn't care. He couldn't keep his eyes off her "enhanced" chesticles - which is a good thing...otherwise he would have noticed the botox needle marks on her forehead and the scars behind her ears from the face lift. Was I in kennewick, or Lake Oswego. Anyway... Its a great spot and I would go back if I ever find myself in that God-forsaken town ever again.
