Overpriced. Better gyros at Portland Saturday Market, or any roach coach. Never saw Greek spaghetti anywhere, more like Richland spaghetti. Will not come back ever.

First Greek food I've had here in Tri Cities. While the decor is outdated and the building isn't the most attractive, it doesn't detract from the great food. Our server was friendly and we really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back! Four stars for price, wish there were a few cheaper options to balance the menu.

Update to my previous review: This is what I overheard at my last visit to Apollo- While my father and I were waiting for our takeout (the only customers present), a cute elderly couple came in and said they were expecting two more. The waitress brought them their waters, though she totally ignored their cute-old-person jokes. A few minutes later, while she was in the back, the other couple came in and sat down. The waitress saw that they were seated, but totally ignored them and stayed up at the front. After a minute or two, the old man came up to the front, and very politely let the waitress know that the other couple had come, just in case she hadn't seen them. Her sarcastic reply: "Yes. I can see that. They already have their water, so I'll bring them their menus in a little bit." I guess that doesn't look that rude written down, but the tone was totally unbefitting someone in a customer service profession (and indeed a polite person in general). I wrote before about how this rude waitress is what motivates me to always prefer takeout to eating in, but this was probably the worst of what I've seen in my 20-odd visits to this restaurant. But yet I've still come back those 20-something times. Because I love that food, and there aren't that many options for Greek food in the TC. So maybe this should be read as praise of the power of their delicious cooking. Definitely if you're not someone who's bothered by slow service and surly waitstaff, this place is great.

I was excited to try this place, since I love greek food. It looked decent and the service was okay, though a little shy and slow at first. However, I wasn't impressed and don't think I'll return. It was the food that I was disappointed with. Got the Chicken Gyro and my husband got the Chicken Souvlaki. The salads were "bagged salads" and the ranch was "meh". I found the gyro to be too saucey and the flavoring wasn't quite right. I especially wasn't impressed by the "Greek Spaghetti", which was nothing more than Pasta Roni. My husband didn't think the Chicken Souvlaki was anything special. We actually both liked the same meals at Greek Islands better. AND the food is cheaper at Greek Islands! The waitress was good at anticipating refills on soft drinks but was a little slow otherwise. Not very friendly, but that isn't as important as getting my refills! Overall, save your money and go to Greek Islands.

After visiting Richland for a week and trying hard to find a decent restaurant, the Apollo did not disappoint. Their food was tasty and reasonably priced for the large portions. Recommend the calzone.

I don't give out 5 Stars easily - I travel weekly and I am always on the lookout for good local food. This place was great, service was excellent and the food was very fresh and authentic! I will be back for sure!

Took the family here for dinner last Saturday night, and we were VERY impressed. Started with the hummus appetizer, which was very tasty. Our younger daughter just got a house salad, older daughter ordered the kids pepperoni pizza, my wife got a spinach calzone, and I ordered the Onasis Halibut. Both the meals for the adults also came with a cup of soup. The soup was really good...Lemon Chicken and Rice...the broth had a good mouth feel, and for the most part there was a pleasent hint of lemon. If you got a bite with a lot of rice, you got more lemon flavor. My Halibut was interesting: They take a halibut fillet, split it and fill it with a crab stuffing, wrap in puff-pastry dough, bake it, then smother it with lobster sauce. it came out pretty a-okay...very rich, but good. The 'Greek spaghetti' on the side was also good...just plain spaghetti with fetta cheese and some olive oil on it. The pizza and the calzone is where we were blown away. My wife grew upi n Connecticut, which is where I met here. Most of the little non-chain pizza places are owned by greek families, as opposed to the stereotypical italian pizza places you think of in New York. It was like a little taste of home for my wife and I. The pizza crust was delicous and flakey, while there was just enough sauce on the pizza to hold the cheese and toppings in place. The calzone was perfect, with the marinara sauce served on the side as opposed to inside. Yum Yum. The only negative we really have about Apollo's was the price...too expensive for a family of 4 to eat at often. Our bill total, with NO alcohol, came to right around $70(before tip). Yes...the place doesn't look like much from the outside...but didn't your mom teach you not to judge a book by its cover?

My wife and I moved to the Tri-Cities from Ohio about 10 months ago and have tried EVERY restaurant to find where the good food is. Apollo Greek is by far our favorite! Their appetizers are amazing whether you get the stuffed mushrooms or just plain pita bread. The large greek salad is delicious and can be shared with 3 people. The best thing on the menu and in the Tri-Cities is the Paradiso's Pizza. Buttery Flakey Crust, Several Cheeses including Feta, Gyro Meat, Onions and we have them add tomatoes.... We have taken all of our visitors here on various occasions and they have loved it too. If you can get out of your car in their crappy run down parking lot and walk into the crappy run-down building you will be happy you did! The food is top notch and highly recommended!
