Thai Gold Triangle Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

This is one of my favorite Thai places in Renton! I've been coming here for a few years now and it's still as good as the first time I tried it! This is one of the few Thai restaurants that offer Waterfall Noodle Soup (or TGT Soup). If you've never tried it, I highly recommend!! It's a lot more affordable than other Thai places in the Renton Highlands and they don't skimp on the portion size! Whether I dine in or pick up, I've never had a bad experience here. They're a small family restaurant that truly believe in customer service and good food! My only complaint with TGT is that they don't offer Mango Sticky Rice, other than that they are fantastic!!

Would give this place 3.5 stars. Food was good for it's price. But could be better. Servings are big but lack in taste. In addition, there is little to no parking. Check in to get a free thai iced tea though!

I really like this little place. I know from the outside it looks a bit sketchy, but it not a bad place. The food is good, the family that runs the place is really friendly and sweet. When I feel like not cooking Thai food I walk down here to get my fix. The menu is simple, straight forward, sticking to common Thai food that the public knows, prices are good and portions are plenty.

Thai Gold Triangle is the epitome of the perfect family owned-restaurant, as evidenced by the sweet dynamic between the warm staff and their faithful regulars. The frequent sighting of younger sisters doing homework at the table next to the kitchen and the sound of GSN whirring in the background was also always comforting and whimsical. Our usuals were Panang Beef (with beef!) Curry, Chicken Tom Kha, Pad See-Ew with pork, and the occasional fresh roll with peanut sauce. All our favorite Thai staples, and we have yet to find a Tom Kha anywhere else that compares to theirs! There was also a Pumpkin Curry we tried during the fall season that was just perfect. My fiancee and I LOVED this place when it was still open. It was our favorite fallback because naturally, they knocked it out of the park each visit with quality service and unbelievably delicious and affordable meals. The day we drove past the building after the fire (we were out of town and weren't aware of the tragedy), our hearts sank. We wish all the best for Lai and Linda--they were such a delight and we hope all the best for them in their future endeavors. If Thai Gold Triangle ever comes back, we will without a doubt be one of the first to line up at the door!

Pleasantly surprised by the food and I will happily return again and again! I usually go to Bai Tong for my thai food but a family style meal really adds up. I always drive by Thai Gold Triangle and decided to come in with a big group of 10 people. Everyone was surprised at the prices because everything was about $7.50! Big portions of yummy thai food and a free thai tea/coffee with check in? Who wouldnt be happy!? I ordered my favorite pad see ew which was so yummy but everywhere I go they seem to serve so little of it. I ordered the green curry with a side order of rice also which could've fed 3 people if you were ordering more food. Vegetables were super fresh in the curry and the coconut cream made the curry slightly sweet which aided with the spicyness (get 1 star if you want to be able to eat other food lol!). Service was also great, the waitress easily handled our group and very quickly too! She was happy to redeem our free drinks for us also. Overall fast service and cheap but hearty food! Lunch special looks plentiful and I will have to try it someday.

This place was A-OK. Nothing really stellar. boyfriend got the Pad Kee Mao. He said it was missing something from the description. I got the Pad See Ew. It was really sweet but other than that totally bland. We were encouraged to not go too spicy (as they only use a three star system) so I picked 2 star - not spicy at all. The Thai Iced Teas were also bland - would have liked more of that earthy tea flavor. Food came out quickly but service was kind of slow. Prices and portions were good.

I'm so far behind on my Yelp reviews, but here's a go at catching up. I came here to Thai Gold Triangle for dinner with a friend after work earlier this month. Thai Gold Thai is located very near the now-under-total-renovation Renton Public Library. It's a safe bet that the restaurant's name references the triangular shape of the block upon which the restaurant sits. Unfortunately, the only parking is on the street. While we were here, two other tables were occupied, but it seems the bulk of Thai Gold Triangle's business is take-out. The restaurant is comfortable and clean, with very good service. I lost count of how many times our server refilled my glass with cucumber-flavored water (though I'm a little uncertain about cucumber-flavored water as a concept). I did think service was very good, but my friend Penny was somewhat miffed because she thought that our server paid way too much attention to the baby with the couple at the next table. But I suspect those people were regulars. We ordered an array of dishes. We requested angel wings, Tom Kha soup, garlic stir fry with pork and lastly, Phad Thai with chicken. The angel wings (deep-fried chicken wings stuffed with glass noodles, peas and carrots) were good but could have stood to have less peas. They also needed more seasoning; they were rather bland. The Tom Kha soup was delicious (perhaps my favorite dish of the night), but there were quite a few woody pieces of a vegetable (ginger?) in the soup that I had to pick out. The stir-fry with pork with broccoli was good, with a generous serving of pork. Our least favorite dish was the Phad Thai - the noodles were gluggy and slippery and the dish was much too sweet. But overall, this is a decent Thai restaurant and, I think, a good option for lunch in the Renton area. It's certainly much better than the Thai restaurant in the Landing (which shall go unnamed, since I haven't reviewed it yet).

Think I found a new restaurant to add to the lunch rotation. I've been craving a good thai place with reasonable prices and this place fits the bill. The food came out quick and the service was good. I ordered the satay chicken lunch combo which came with soup, pad thai, white rice and 3 adorable little eggrolls. It was only 7.75 and was more than enough food for one person. I liked the pad thai because it wasn't as overly sweet like most places yet the depth of the flavor was there. The chicken satay was pretty tasty too. It wasn't overcooked which was nice. Overall this is a solid place to eat at. Check it out if you're ever in the area. Parking is a little tricky since I have no idea where the parking lot was at...if they even have one. I just ended up parking on the street around the corner. Anyways...happy eating! Oh and I almost forgot to mention, if you've got the yelp app, check-in for a free thai iced tea!

A year later after first trying Thai Gold, it's still the absolute best. My girlfriend and I try to visit at least once a month, and the food/service never seems to disappoint! We love the quaint and quiet atmosphere inside, mixed with the amazing taste of the food. You can't ask for much else. Our main go-to's are the mini fried spring rolls, green curry, panang curry and thai tea! Also, if you check in on yelp you get a thai tea for free. Also, be sure to stop in for lunch and check out their awesome special. A whole ton of food, for not a whole ton of $.

I really enjoyed eating at this place. I came in around 11.30 (before the Lunch rush) when everything was fresh! I walked in and I was the only one (I like that because I get all the attention from the server). I was greeted by this very beautiful woman and I told her I wanted to eat here. She gave me a menu and asked what i wanted to drink. I drink water % 99 of the time. She gave me a couple mins and when she came back I told her that I would to eat the PANANG CURRY, Spicy as you can make it! During this time she was nice enough to turn on netflix to the action movie "G.I. Joe retailation" which I appreciated her (but maybe she wanted to watch it herfelf... I dont know? I want to assume she was catering to me, lol . Could be wrong) Right after I placed my order she came back out with a small bowl of soup, it had a lot of vegatables in it like corn, egg, carrots, tufu, etc (see pic) I asked her what it was and she told me it was a house soup with veges similar to a "sweet and sour" soup. If YOU ARE NOT INTO SPICY, DONT EAT THE SOUP, it does have a bit of a "kick". I tried it and I was impressed, by far this was the best bowl of soup I have gotten before a meal! it was also the most hearty seeing that it had tons of veges in it! About 5 min (max) after I placed my order I got my food. I was overall impressed of how much curry I got. I am a not a small guy and even after eating this panang curry I had some left over. SO I asked for another side of brown rice and a cup and now I have a dinner ready to go! The Panang Curry only costed $7.50 + tax if you order brown rice (which I did) its an extra $1.50 (it really should be only $1, but oh well, its worth eating borwn rice so much more over white) Also if you check in on Yelp for the first time you get a deal for a FREE THAI TEA, I decided to save mine for when I come back here, which I plan to do! Overall the most food for your money and I look forward to trying other dishes there such as the popular pineapple fried rice and the Pad See Ew.

This place is easy to miss--we actually drove past it while on the lookout. Once we finally found it, we were greeted by a bubbly owner in an otherwise empty restaurant (it was the 4th of July, to be fair). The Yelp check-in scores you a free Thai iced coffee/tea, so definitely take advantage of that. My iced coffee was rather sweet, but I can't complain too much since it was free after all. I got the spicy basil fried rice. It was kind of oily, but well-spiced and flavourful. The serving was also generously sized and very reasonably priced. All in all, a nice, cheap meal--perfect for a quick lunch stop.

Was craving for some Thai food around the Renton Highlands area since I didn't want to venture far, I used the trusty Yelp app to find Thai Gold Triangle. It was located conveniently right down the hill so it wasn't too far of a drive. Except parking is street only but luckily I was able to find one around the corner. I ordered the green chicken curry and tom yum kai with chicken to go. It was piping hot when I got it and still hot when I brought it home, which is a plus! The soup was good, but still like Bai Tong's more. I was slightly disappointed that my green curry was missing the eggplant because I was honestly looking forward to that. I do agree with one Yelper that it's slightly on the sweet side which I don't mind but can be different for others. Next time I'll dine-in to try their phad tai and phad see ew. :) Tip - It's located right next door to the Afghan Cuisine which you can miss and drive by without seeing the Thai Gold sign.

The last I heard this place had caught on fire. I am so sad for these nice people. I hope they can recover and keep making the best Thai food I have ever had.

I ordered: Pineapple fried rice- best pineapple fried rice ever. The rice is not too soggy, but not too dried either. It has a generous amount of pineapples and cashew in it. Tom kah soup with chicken- the best part of the soup is the chicken, it's so soft and tender, great on a cold day. Larb Gai- I have had this dish made by my friends, and this place is the closest to their authentic taste. When I ordered it elsewhere, the flavor isn't as pungent. If you like spicy food, order this and max out the stars, it's spicy, sour, and fishy, just like the homemade ones. Pad Thai- I think this was the worst dish I ordered, I didn't like how the noodles were so soft. I had better elsewhere. Sizzling rice lettuce wraps- I never saw this at any other Thai restaurant so I decided to give it a try. It's rice that they fried, and is now like a rice crispy, but soaked in sauce and meat (kind of like the crispy vermicelli in Mongolian beef...if you know what I mean). They serve it with strips of roman lettuce and you're suppose to put the on top of the lettuce and eat it together. I liked it, lots of flavor in one dish! Pad See Ew- I was persuaded by my boyfriend to order this because he wanted to try it. I told him he will be the only one eating it. I usually steer away from this dish because I don't care for wide noodles and I have never tried any Pad See Ew that I enjoyed. Somehow this restaurant makes me CRAVE this dish! Their flavorful chewy noodles is making me beg for more. By the end of the dish we were fighting for the last bite! Atmosphere: Very small place, about 10-12 tables. Service: I like the older lady here, she is so friendly. Overall: My all time favorite Thai restaurant right now. Their price is so cheap, and their food satisfies my taste buds. I want to try the rest of their menu, but the items we ordered tasted so good, I am not sure if I can go and not order those again.

I got beef Thai fried rice to go (sans cilantro and tomatoes). They put it in a nice big, flat box that was way easier to eat out of than Chinese food containers are. I've had issues with squishy beef before; theirs wasn't squishy, but it was a little dry/chewy. The rice was sort of sticky/mushy; I prefer firmer rice. The onions were the perfect size and sweetness. I'm not used to carrots in my fried rice, but a couple here and there weren't bad for a change in texture. I'm also not used to big pieces of scallion; not sure that added anything. The portion was a good size, and I liked that there was plenty of beef. I don't like spicy food, so I ordered it with no stars, and the flavor wasn't bad; maybe just slightly bland. I doubt I'll go here again, but it wasn't the worst fried rice I've ever had.

Went today with a gal pal for a lady lunch date. The lunch special is great. The mini egg rolls were so adorable. The rice was a tad dry. The peanut sauce was pretty thick for my preference. They got pretty busy after we arrived and I felt bad as there was only 1 girl to help everyone. Overall.. a great time.

Had Pad Thai and Spring rolls- my go to. Best in Renton so far and very reasonable. WAY BETTER than Thai 65 in the Landing and half the price

Got above average phad Thai for below average prices Worth driving to. My friends got the chicken phad Thai and another dish I don't remember. They also had the coconut ice cream. They said the ice cream was good too.

Best Thai food out there for an amazing price!!! I'm definitely a foodie and love to compare different places, so I give my recommendation by the fact that I've tried almost every Thai place in King County and nothing compares. Don't be fooled by their simple decor and sketchy location, the food is bomb! I try not to eat here often because I try bringing lunch, but I can't stay away. They know me by name. Go give this place a try! And absolutely make sure to try their lunch soup with your meal!

This is a quaint little restaurant with reasonable prices and good tasting food. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and one star (they offer 1 to 3 stars), which was very tasty. I was also offered a spicy soup before my meal which was good, but a bit too spicy for me. They provide a lime and cucumber water (perhaps lemon over lime) which is delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed. The wait staff was friendly and checked on my table several times throughout our meal. They offered a petty appealing lunch special, but I was really in the mood for Pad Thai :) I believe I paid 7.50 for my order. The restaurant was clean and tidy. I would recommend Gold Triangle and will visit there again when I'm in the area.

this place was amazing! first of all i loved the cute little place with wood chairs. it was a small corner shop with only 8 tables but very warm. the flavors of the Pad See Ew were great. 2.5/3 Stars was awesome. the flavor blended very well with the amount of spice that they put on it. a good amount of broccoli and meat. One thing that was a really nice touch was the water had cucumber in it. it was very refreshing.

I went here for a date on friday last week. The food was great, infact it came out fast, and was top notch. However they had jeopardy playing pretty loud on a tv making it anything but romantic, and with the blue white cfl lamps i felt like i was in a classroom. I do not recommend, next time i will get take out tho!

  • Ron F.

Pineapple fried rice - my favorite, and shrimp egg rolls. Yum. I like the way every dish is ordered with your favorite meat choice or shrimp or tofu. Great way to mix it up. I'll skip the beef next time, it was too chewy for my tastes. The chicken and pork were delicious. They have combo plates for lunch but not dinner. Dinner can add up quick with appetizer, fried rice, and entrées but the portions are plenty to have some leftovers. Recommended

Picked up some carry out from here, and the food was great (Green curry was amazing). The lady working behind the counter was very nice also and made small talk with us. She asked if I was Thai, and I said no, I was Cambodian. She then made small talk with me in Cambodian - very sweet lady!

Consistently great Thai food at an outstanding price! The lunch special is $7.75 and you get soup, rice, pad Thai and three mini Egg rolls, not to mention your choice of meats. Try the Swimming Angel, it's delicious! I'm also a fan of the green curry. There's a nice selection of authentic Thai desserts as well, all at a reasonable price. Service is great, prompt and with a smile. I really like the Thai iced coffee and stop in sometimes just for that!

Yum! Just tried this place for the first time for lunch last week. Great lunch deals and the Penang Curry is delish! My first taste gave me flashbacks of the curry I had in Chiang Mai- yes, THAT GOOD! The prices are super reasonable and staff are so friendly, which is always a plus. Had dinner there tonight, so that makes it two visits in one week, this is my new Go-To Thai restaurant.

Got a deal on groupon so we went there to give it a try. Service was friendly but my pad thai tasted like noddles stir fried with ketch up and sugar. I might go back to try other dishes.

I've eaten at this place multiple times in the past and decided to finally take the time to write a review. This place has the best Thai food I have ever tasted! My gf and I are an absolute fans of their Pad Kee Mao. I have tried several of their noodle dishes as well as their curry dishes and both are spot on. I have also tried out their sticky rice desert which is good as well. The service is always quick and great. There was one time when we dined in when they were extremely busy and only had two staff to wait on over 12 tables. Although the service took slightly longer, they were very apologetic and made sure we were taken care of at the end of our meal. I have had nothing but good experiences here and would recommend anyone to eat at Thai Gold Triangle!

  • Debra R.

Food is pretty good. Authentic and spicy! Pricing is great! Cheaper than normal thai places. Overall a great place for take out also seating isn't that great if your are binging a big party but a great place for quick food and good service.

We just moved out to Renton and were in need of finding our new favourite Thai Restaurant, Thai Gold Triangle definitely took that place. As a few people mention when you order spice expect spice! Curry with a few stars will make you sweat! I don't always want it that hot so I will order zero and it is the perfect flavour. We are quickly becoming take out regulars and have filled many friends bellies with this awesome fare! I also love that they will make me non-dairy Thai Iced Tea! If you are looking for some tasty Thai treats hit up the Triangle!

It was my first time at Thai Gold and I went with a family of 6 on a Saturday and was seated promptly. Clean restaurant locate next to the street. Prices on the menu were reasonable. Most items were $6-8 and rice was $1 per person. We ended up ordering the following: Pineapple fried rice-A little more salty and oily than I prefer but overall taste was good Panang Curry-We got 2 stars (comparative to 3 stars) with chicken and the texture and spices were delicious! Lots of veggies! Green Curry-Lots of bamboo shoots. Sweeter than I would prefer but still a good curry for the price. Fried Tofu-Came with sweet and tangy chili sauce with peanuts! Really yummy appetizer. Pad Kee Mao-We got 3 stars and it was really spicy, but also very delicious! Portion was perfect and there were lots of veggies. Overall experience was 4/5. They gave us free rice because they originally forgot our green curry so that was a plus. Also, if you do a Yelp review, you get a complimentary Thai Iced Tea so take advantage of that!

We've eaten here several times. The food, service, and atmosphere always impress. Both waitresses (I believe mother and daughter) are polite and helpful. Pad Thai, Cashew entree, Fresh Rolls, Sticky Rice, and Pad See Ew are all delicious with large portions and low prices. Love the amount of fresh veg and the way the waitresses go out of their way to make sure we like the assortment in each dish.

    (5)
  • Travis V.

Friendly, nice staff. Chicken Pad Thai was average at best. Two star wasn't spicy at all. Friend spring rolls were a delightful twist, those would be 5 star alone...but I really was hoping for great pad Thai, which it wasn't for me.

  • Sanj P.

Difficult to understand the high reviews. We went for an early dinner on a Tuesday and there was nobody there. I ordered Pineapple fried rice and can't remember what my wife ordered but both were bad. The rice didn't have anything close to the proper flavor. This is a standard dish you can find in almost every Thai restaurant and almost every decent place will produce a similar dish. Not here. I can't recommend this place to anyone looking for typical, good Thai food. I'm rating 2 stars just for the nice service.

    (2)
  • Anastasia I.

The pad thai was average, and if I got that by itself I might give this place 3 stars, but together with the quick, friendly service and the absolutely delicious thai iced tea, I think the rating deserves to be bumped up to 4.

Pad mee was delicious; don't pass this place by; great little joint good atmosphere and fast service; I would recommend this if you are looking for a Thai fix; Thai tea was very good; better than most other Thai places I have tried in the area. Come hungry, the plates are a fair size for one!

The food was excellent. I had the Tom Kha soup and garlic chicken. The Thai iced coffee was also very good. Most notable is the quality of the food and flavor is top notch, yet under prices most other Thai places. In a quiet area of Renton, definitely worth the drive.

We saw the Thai Gold Triangle sign on the sidewalk, and based a on a few seconds of Yelp research, we decided to give it a try. We're glad we did! Our choices were pad see-ew and Thai fried rice, and both were quite tasty, attractively presented, and reasonably priced. The sit-down service was exceptionally friendly and quite fast, and the restaurant itself is pleasant, airy, and bright. We are gluttons for spice-punishment, and we thought that the dishes could have been slightly more fiery (we asked for three stars on a scale of one to three), but that's a fairly minor complaint. We enjoyed the food and will be back to try more dishes - they have a viable shot at five stars :) As others have noted, the parking situation isn't the best. The street right in front (2nd) is one-way, and there aren't a lot of places to park near the immediate entrance of the restaurant. Not sure why the bank employee parking lot next door can't be made available to local businesses in the evening, particularly since those employees presumably work, well, banker's hours. :) There is plentiful street parking a little farther away, such as on Wells, and it's certainly worth a walk to this relatively new little gem. It's a nice, affordable addition to downtown Renton's dining options.

I am gonna start of by saying that I am not a fan of Thai food. It's not that I hate it, I'm just not crazy about it, but on rare occasion, I have had a meal that makes me want to board a plan to T-land and get in some Hangover level mischief. As mentioned, Thai really isn't my get down, but I always scour the menu to find out if they do any Chinese food. Thai folks don't play and when they say 5 stars, they mean 5 stars, not spicy ketchup with a rooster on the bottle. For a fire breathing demon like myself, it's glorious. I started off slow here with Wonton soup. From the 1st ladle I knew this was going to be my go to spot. The broth was rich and robust and the wontons were also well season sausage like I have come to expect. I will return at some point to try more of the fare, but so far they are batting 1000

Just discovered this place a week ago by searching highly rated Thai food places in the Renton area and this one was at the top. We tried this place for lunch the 1st time. We were able to get 2 lunch dishes and a complimentary (thanks Yelp!) Thai Iced Coffee) for well under $20! Went back tonight and had a delicious dinner (2 entres and a appetizer) for under $25. We ordered Pad Kee Mao Chicken (with wide noodles and veggies) and the Spinach Chicken in peanut sauce. We also got an order of Salad Rolls (healthier alternative to fried egg rolls) with Shrimp and romaine lettuce. Everything was delicious! This is now our favorite new local dining spot. :)

This is a great little Thai restaurant. The food is very fresh and delicious. They have all of your favorite Thai standards. This is a way better restaurant than the Thai place down in the Landing. The service is friendly and polite. The prices here are spectacular. Huge portions for $7.50 (Phad Se Ew) and other favorites. Definitely budget friendly. The only negative part is that the place is tiny and the parking is not great. But I would recommend this to anyone looking for Thai food in Renton, it's the best there is!

Came here with the family. It's small and clean. The restroom was out of order so we had to use another's establishments facilities. Service was a bit slow this Friday night dinner time. Being Thai and knowing what Authentic Thai should taste like I give 3 stars. It's good to fill your empty stomach but really nothing that makes this place stand out.

They deliver!!! Flavorful Thai food in a neighborhood that needs new small business to boost growth. I love their food and the service here is the best. Their menu is priced better than any Thai restaurant in the puget sound area. Located across from Ben's loan in Renton. I've only been here once for dinner but I can't wait to return to try more of the menu.

This is another nice hidden gem in Renton. Don't forget to check-in, you'll get a free Thai ice tea ;) I ordered the pad see ew noodles and I was very pleased with my meal. They make it fresh and a good start for a restaurant new in the area! Noodles are soft and tasty. They really try hard to make a good first impression!

This was my first time here and I'm never going back. I had the lunch combo with panang curry, pud Thai and spring rolls. I didn't like one thing. The worst had to be the Phud Thai. It was the color of ketchup and had an aftertaste of ketchup. Ugh. It was all stuck together and when I put my fork into it the whole thing came up. The spring rolls were not crispy (this could have been because I got it to go) and the curry was watery. It also didn't have the potatoes and pineapple but only green and red peppers. I also had the garlic chicken wings which were just ok. This is not authentic cooking but Americanized. I want the type of food the cook makes for his family not this fast food version.

Love going here for Pad Thai and Pad Se Eew. I always get the extra noodles and sticky rice too. The portions are great and the service is always awesome. I hate chains and this is right up my alley and convenient when I need a Thai fix.

Some Thai food restaurants food is overly loaded in sauces, TGT has great sauces but they do not overwhelm the FRESH food you need to taste, it's more of a nice complement than a cover-up of questionable food. I love the specials they have, not only lunch but daily specials. Daily specials have been extraordinary and explained fully as sometimes I have no idea what they are ;). The staff is friendly and quick. I love those little tiny egg rolls and they are perfect kid size. Would have given 5 stars but have to take at least 1/2 star off for parking issues, its either tight street parking sometimes a couple blocks away or in the even tighter parking lot behind building which is shared with Afgan resturant and Glass company.

NO COMPLAINTS! This place is awesome, as I'd been driving out of town to get decent Thai food. This is best in Renton. Very clean place, staff is very personable and helpful, then there's the food.....DELICIOUS! I've tried a number of dishes and all were great. I've often gone twice a week for my Thai fix, so I now know Linda by name and believe she can tell my voice on the phone when calling in an order. : O Support small businesses like this one and avoid the larger conglomerates at the Landing! Recommendations -Thai Basil Stir Fry, Pumpkin Curry, Yellow Curry, Panang Curry, Wrapped Prawns appetizer, Fresh rolls, and the Hot Basil Fried Rice.

Came her for salad rolls. They had one table in the restaurant but I still waited ~10 minutes or so. Not really the end of the world, but the rolls were sort of small and, while they were good, they weren't the best in the world. They were a solid A-OK.

This place rocks! Great staff and very friendly! We had a groupon and got a great deal! We will defiantly return here the food is great! We ordered the red curry with 2 extra sides of rice. Some Thai soup, pad Thai. For 2 people that's enough just the right size. They have a scale of 1-3 stars for spice. We got the 2 stars and that had enough kick spice for us. I guess if you want it extra spicy go up to the 3 star, but 2 stars is enough to give you the taste and clear the sinuses :) We will be back to Thai gold triangle!

Tried the Tom Ka with chicken. Decent portion size. Moderately spicy (3 stars). My only disappointment was that it wasn't sour, not hint of lime etc. should have gotten the Tom yum soup.

Picked up takeout and the service was very friendly and fast! I got pud Thai and fresh rolls, which were quite reasonably priced. The fresh rolls were awesome and crisp. The pud Thai was also very good. Looking forward to trying more menu items in the future!

My boyfriend and I were at Ben's Loan shop across the street just browsing the store. It was around lunch time and we were hungry so we decided to check out this place. The restaurant is cute and the staff is so friendly! When we first walked in they greeted us and sat us down by the window. I was in the mood for soup but wasn't sure what I wanted to get. The waitress was very helpful in describing the soups and I ended up getting the Tom Yum soup. My boyfriend ordered the Thai Fried Rice. We both ordered the Thai Iced Tea and that came out quickly. It was delicious! I'd say one of the best I've had. The flavor was strong and did not taste watered down like some other places. The wait was not long for our food and came out piping hot. The Tom Yum soup was so good.. It had chicken, lemongrass, tomatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers, and chilies. The lemongrass added a nice subtle taste that was not overwhelming. I would definitely order that again. My boyfriend's fried rice was tasty as well. I've had thai fried rice at other restaurants and sometimes they tend to be soggy. This was not the case. Besides the food, the service was good. The waitress was attentive asking how our food was and if we needed anything else. She also refilled our water when it was needed. The owner is also really nice and came out to greet us. She asked how everything was and thanked us for coming in. Overall my experience here was a positive one. The food was tasty and the price was reasonable. If you are in the mood for some good authentic Thai food, definitely come here! The only downside is you do have to find street parking.

The food was pretty good but there was no where to park near the restaurant so we had to circle around 5 times and park at a bank. We had the lunch special that included soup, pad Thai, egg rolls, rice and curry for $7.45, a great deal. The curry was excellent. The pad Thai, so-so but for Renton not bad.

Thank you Groupon for introducing us to this fantastic place! The pad Thai was so fresh and flavorful my mouth was happy for hours!! I also ordered the showering angel because the menu said the peanut sauce was homemade. Trust me, it is homemade and it is DELICIOUS! Good service + fabulous food = definitely going back!!!

This gem in Renton has excellent prices and very good food. If you are in the Renton area, you should check this place out. The employees are extremely friendly and want to make sure you have a good experience. The food was fantastic and the prices are very affordable. You get a lot of food for the price. Dinner prices are $8-$12 per entree and pay an extra for the rice which is normal for Thai restaurants at dinner. I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!

The waitress was very attentive and efficient. I definitely enjoyed the lunch special I ordered; the red curry was great. This place is certainly worth trying.

No parking, odd location, great food. Some very good Thai food in downtown Renton. Parking is a big challenge and there's also not a lot of seating. Big parties beware.

This place is awesome! Go here! I normally don't come this far south, but a friend suggested we meet here, and I'd drive the 30 minutes back down for the food. Decor: It's not any crazy work of art, but it is very tidy, clean, and tasteful. The place is spotless and tables are roomy and clean. Service: Our waitress was super nice. I was there about five minutes before my friends, and she chatted with me and made sure I had everything I wanted while waiting. Once we ordered, the service was maybe the fastest I've ever had, and she was attentive about refilling our waters and checking in to make sure I didn't need more rice. Food: This is what sealed the deal. I love Thai food, and this is some of the best I've had in months. I'd come back down south just for it. I had the pumpkin curry and my friend had phad thai. Their food is legitimately spicy, and seemed appropriate for the 3 stars I asked for. The flavor was rich and complex, and the pumpkin/chicken/bell peppers in my curry were cooked to the correct done-ness. The portions were very good sized (I had enough left over for a full meal of curry tomorrow), and they don't skimp on the veggies/meat in the curry, which I appreciate. Overall, probably the best pumpkin curry I've had yet (and I love pumpkin curry). I talked with a diner at a nearby table as well, and he said that the five dishes he'd tried with them were equally superb. Price: Reasonable. A little cheaper than the average place I think, and definitely good value for the quality and amount of food. Other: When I came in this place was celebrating it's 8 month anniversary. They seem like they're off to a good start, and I hope it continues. They have a great product, and good service and environment. Take a chance on this place!

Delicious! Brought the family, including a picky 3 year old and we all really enjoyed our meals. The green curry came with a dollop of coconut milk on top, which was a nice touch. The food came very quickly, less than 10 minutes, and it was tasty hot and even as it cooled. The restaurant was very clean, not greasy. I most enjoyed our friendly server and a cook we met in the hall. Our new favorite local thai!

We wanted to find a Thai restaurant close by and gave Thai Gold Triangle a try. Ordered the two common dishes that help me determine if I like the style of cooking. Pineapple fried rice was decent but the Phad Thai was overly sweet with the main flavor being ketchup. I personally prefer the use of tamarind instead of ketchup so that is why I gave them 3 stars. Staff was nice and great prices with decent portions.

Found this place through yelp.. and boy, good thing I tried this place! I'm originally from California and I eat a lot of Thai food in various Thai restaurants California-wide. At first, I wasn't too sure if this place was going to impress me, but decided to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt... As I look at the menu, the first thing that attracted me were the prices. Prices were craaazy cheap for the portion of food that you get! The lunch specials have AMAZING deals that you can't get anywhere else! Now don't get me wrong... but I thought prices were on the low side because of the quality of food that the restaurant serves.. but what a total slap in my face!!! All of the plates ordered were of high quality and the taste of each food had the right texture/taste/presentation.. and best of all, each food item I ordered HIT THE SPOT! Here are some of the food on the menu that I've tried: Thai Iced Tea: The Thai Iced Tea was the milkiest tasting Thai tea I've had in any Thai restaurants. Not that it's a bad thing, but I did love that creamy half/half taste! I loved that it wasn't TOO sweet tasting. Tom Kha soup: SUPER GOOD! I was impressed by the deliciousness of the Tom Kha they had only because a lot of Thai restaurants can't get the coconut taste right. Also recommended are Pad Pra Khing (sp?), Pad Thai, eggplant (forgot the name haha), and fried egg rolls. Actually, screw it. I recommend you guys try any food on the menu because all of what I tried/tasted turned out to be great! **The service was truly exceptional! Linda made my stay here feel like home. And she was on top of her sh*t considering that the place got busy for 1 server! (this is a new restaurant that just opened a couple of weeks ago, but there is currently another server-in-training as we speak). This was officially my first go-to WA restaurant. And I made it my last before leaving back home to California. If I'm ever back in WA, I'll def. visit this place again! Thanks again Thai Gold Triangle!!

Came here with a group of 3 friends. Service was quick, friendly, and very good. I had the pad see eew, a thai iced tea, calamari, and the papaya salad. All of it was delicious and less than $10 for an entree. Food tasted flavorful and hit the spot. They're currently working on a liquor license and so I'm looking forward to coming back to grab a few drinks in the near future.

Visited today with a large group. They happily accommodated us and service was quick and friendly. I had the phad see ew and my husband had the chicken cashew...both were super yummy. My husband is from Thailand and he really enjoyed the food here...so that is good praise. :) We will.be back!

Finally tried this place after driving by nearly daily. Restaurant is small and clean. Street parking OK was a bit of a hassle due to the rain. We ordered 3 meals plus fresh rolls. Each dish was well cooked and looked nice from a presentation perspective. We will definitely be going back. To try more!

This place is neck and neck with Bai Tong, arguably the best Thai in South Seattle area. No frills, fresh, delicious, caring food. Super friendly service. Bit tricky with all of the one way streets to find the place, but WELL WORTH it. Renton's hidden secret!!!

I am so happy this opened up in downtown Renton and I found them out with GROUPON!! They have the best prices and the food are AWESOME! Unlike other Thai places their portions are small and pricey even though it tastes good but this place you can't not complain about anything. Yes, the parking is small but for the quality, service, price and how fast they are I don't care if I have to walk 5 minutes to get my Thai fulfilled! You must get chicken satay, curry chicken and phad thai. That's my order every time I go there and thai ice tea! : ) and the only reason I didn't give them a five star is because of their location and parking..... I think soon they will have to move to a bigger place since they are just so awesome in everyway! : )
