My son would like to give this place 4.5 stars... even though he said there was a weird painting in the bathroom. ;) That's a teenager for ya. I found this place on yelp as I was searching for a nearby place that had bulgogi. As well as other tasty treats that my kids would devour. WE FOUND ONE! A short drive from our neck of the woods, we were excited to try something new. We walked in and were immediately greeted and showed to a table. That is when I realized this place only seats 20-25 people. So tiny. It has a similar feel to a teriyaki place, but with a sushi counter. I have never been to a place so small. I didn't need to look at the menu long to know that I wanted bulgogi. The server was surprised that I knew what I wanted or that I wanted that, either way, I liked the look on his face. My kids on the other hand, had a hard time figuring out which rolls they wanted. We came to the consensus that three rolls were a good choice, California, Aspa and Aloha. Which are all pretty similar. They enjoyed them all, ate all of the rice and bulgogi and enjoyed the place in all its yumminess. We will come back and enjoy it again. I loved that it was so quiet in there, even with a group of 8 sitting near us. I dont know if it is always that quiet.. I hope it is! See you next time!

My friends showed me this place and I wasn't really sure what to expect since this place was really small and usually stores that are like this don't have good food. After we ordered (California rolls, and something Alaska, I don't really remember) I said ありがとございます to the waiter and he laughed at me and started speaking Japanese to me haha how friendly (: The portion of the meal was great! We got two things and I shared with my 2 friends which was super filling and we were all full. It was $10 in total, super cheap, for a lot of rolls, compared to a plate at sushi land which is $1.50 each depending on what you get. Totally recommend this place is you live around the area craving for some sushi or any other Japanese food! I would come back here and try some of their other stuff on their menu other than sushi!!

I can't even describe to you how big the yakisoba portion is...it is probably about the size of a large pie pan. Meat to vegetables to noodles ratio is very good. I also got the Alaskan roll. It had the perfect crunch. This place is truly a hidden gem. Usually when I pay 8.95 for yakisoba, I never get this much. I wished my picture would do the plate its justice but I did that the picture on a phablet.

Wow! What an excellent place to eat!! Lets start with their food; It's AMA-zing. Fresh, authentic and what kids call it today, "bomb!" As I took my first bite my eyes flew out of my face, not only it was great the first bite but the second and the third. Their food was so good that I didn't want to swallow. Here is what was ordered: -Lion King (8 rolls) -Scallop Roll (8 rolls) -Crispy Alaska (8 rolls) -Philly Roll (6 rolls) Their portion is surprisingly big! (See pictures) As a sushi guru, I give their food an A+. Second their service; was one of the best customer service. The guy that was serving was very helpful! He stood by in the back waiting to see if we would have questions. One surprising gesture during our dine; as I take the straw out of the wrapping, he came out of nowhere to pick it up!!! Also passed the water test! I think I was so distracted from the food that I forgot I needed water! Haha I wish this place would grow, yet I believe that if it did their quality of food would reduce, so it's up to you to decide if you think this place is small or not. I believe that it is just perfect. Also the owner decided to have the miso soup we ordered on the house!! What a great experience! I will be back for more! Next time to test their consistency.

Love love this sushi place. I highly recommend the Mt. Rainier! The owner is so nice! We came in again and be remembered that there was free edamame on them because of something that had happened last time. Not a huge sushi person, but I do love this restaurant.

We ordered chicken teriyaki but didn't get it for 40 mins and had to leave. We told the waiter and he apologized and gave us a hand roll on the house. Such great service that we don't often see! And course, we gave a big tip to compensate. Highly recommend this awesome hole in the wall sushi place!

Love this place! Very fresh nice staff. Didn't know until I moved to Renton few years back this place is the same place as Factoria Tokyo. Limited menu but Sushi is the same. Been going here for years! I recommend the Lion King Roll, Mt. Rainier and Crispy Alaska with fresh Salmon. The Salmon Sahimi is amazing too! Small little place but love it

I can't recommend this place enough. My family and I come here at least once a week for teriyaki, miso soup, and our respective favorite sushi rolls. The usual waiter knows our daughter by name and goes out of his way to cheer her up if she's having a "terrible twos" kind of day. Service is friendly and FAST, prices are reasonable, staff goes above and beyond. Easily our favorite sushi place in the Seattle area.

Small, cozy and quite a welcome surprise. I was expecting a crazy crowd on a Friday night, but that was not the case. There was a solid clientele and that is always a good thing. I did have to laugh at the guy who was eating his sushi in his car right out front...dude, why not just sit and eat in? They had the Seahawks pre-season game against the Chargers going on - no need to blast it from your car, boyfriend. Anyway we went in and were seated promptly...for an appetizer, hungry husband was extremely hungry husband! He ordered edamame and croquettes. Ok, those croquettes...OMG THOSE CROQUETTES! I've eaten many croquettes in my lifetime - I'm a carboholic. I've yet to meet a carb I won't eat. I've eaten French croquettes, Indian croquettes and many a Japanese ones...and this was the best croquette I had eaten. It's not like it's rocket science, either! Mashed potatoes, a couple of peas and carrots in there, panko breading and deep fry the sucker. I know the routine, but for some reason, this was the tastiest croquette. Lovely, crunchy and slightly buttery tasting. So good. Mr Carina M and I joked about getting some to go. They were also quite big -- 3 honkin' huge croquettes. Oh yea, they were gooood. My sushi consisted of California roll, tempura and Hawaiian. All equally good and just had to be brought home. I managed to eat 2 of each...I was unable to finish them because of the croquettes. Laugh all you want, but those super big deep fried hash browns were filling! Parking was nice and easy, despite there being a bar in that same strip mall. I'll definitely be going back!

Living in Seattle for a while I have been surprised how difficult it is to find reasonably priced, high quality sushi. I have tried several places, but it was a simple Yelp search that lead me to Sushi Roll Roll Roll and I am glad that it did. Located in a little strip mall you would easily drive past it and never see it, and that would be a shame. The rolls are well made, the fish is very fresh (the tuna was exceptional the day I went), and the sauces are well done. Many sushi places are determined to throw a ton of sticky sweet sauce on top of a roll, but these sauces are flavorful without being cloyingly sweet. Even the potato croquettes are excellent, light and crispy with good flavor.

I was driving home from work and craved sushi. Yelped and saw this spot so I called to order to go. Mind you I am starving. I ordered the Mt. Rainier roll and was actually turning into their parking lot. It was a last min decision. They said it would take 20 mins. Just to make one order? Anyway I waited in my car for about 15 mins. When I went inside there was only two people working. A waiter and the sushi chef. No wonder why it took so long. The roll was actually pretty good! Unless I was just really hungry that night. I didn't use any soy sauce. It was packed with flavors with the sauce they drizzled on top. I would def be back.

Very tiny hole-in-the-wall sort of place, but good sushi. A few interesting variations to choose from as well as the more basic rolls. Definitely a good spot.

I love this place!! It's our family go-to restaurant for sushi. The owners are friendly and charming and the food is dependably good. Having lived in LA for a long time and had access to all kinds of sushi restaurants, I'd say it's between mid to high-end quality-wise and mid-level, price-wise. In my opinion, the sushi and seafood is higher-end than the cooked meat dishes. But they are good, too. Over the last year and a half there have been one or two things that weren't to my taste, but overall, I've liked everything we've tried and the service has always been good or great. My favorite is the Aloha roll, I've never seen that one before. Lately, my Dad's been on a Saba Shioyaki kick, which is amazing, too. It's a casual place, but it's not at all a dive. It's clean and comfortable. I see a lot of people pick up takeout orders. I've seen dates, families and business lunches. I think I keep coming back, though, because I really like the owners. There's just something about them. They are so nice, and really good people. They recognized me from the second time I came back and it feels like a neighborhood place to me. I love to support a family-run business, but I wouldn't unless the food is terrific.

My teriyaki joints revolve on shuffle in this area, and right now, Sushi Roll Roll Roll is at the top of the game. It's got a dope name too. Service has always been super nice and friendly. I'll usually order the chicken teriyaki, which is a deal compared to other teriyaki spots. I'll opt for the tonkatsu from time-to-time, depending on if I'm feeling it that day. The portion sizes are huge here, and that's something I won't complain about. When my sister and I go, we'll typically order some California rolls as appetizers (the only sushi she eats). They're very well made and taste superb. Also a fan of the gyoza. Whenever we're thinking of teriyaki for dinner, this is by far our favorite option. I'm usually surprised with how low our bill is when we ask for the check. Fairly-priced meals will always give you bonus points in my book.

After reading all the great reviews of this place we had to stop as lovers of sushi. We also just moved to the Seattle area from Tampa and figured the sushi had to be good here. We ordered the Mt. Rainier and Lion Roll, as recommended. The Mt. Rainier was good, but nothing special. We weren't a fan of the Lion as it was heated up and had cooked salmon. I've never had hot sushi before and it just wasn't our thing. On the bright side, the place is small and quaint in a good way. The owners and employees are also very friendly. Prices were standard, and we probably will keep looking for a great sushi spot.

This place is a tiny sushi joint in a nondescript strip mall. Only about 20 people could fit between the tables and the sushi bar. I'm so glad I stopped in because my sushi was amazing! I had the aspa roll which was asparagus and tempura shrimp. I also had the miso soup. I had to knock off one star because the restroom was pretty icky. It had scuffs all over the walls, and the crown molding on the floor was just unfinished wood. It almost seems like they in the process of remodeling it, but got distracted and stopped. I would definitely eat here again - just skip the restroom!

  • Rick B.

I am not sure why this place got so many great reviews. The food is only average. The venue dive-ish and the pricing is in-line with other far superior sushi places in this area. I think if you find yourself in Renton craving sushi, are unwilling to drive far, then this place might give you the fix you need. However I would suggest you invest in a drive and do better.

This is the far most best Japanese restaurant in the town. The Hamachi with yellow tail is delicious and the portion of the dish is very big and the piece of fish is big. I also tried their udon soup and it was very tasty. The service was very amazing, the server was nice and always checking on us. The owner was very friendly and nice. This place is the best Japanese restaurant, and I would not regret to come back and try their other items. This place will be my every weekend Japanese restaurant.

What can I say the food here was amazing. Being that I'm from Hawaii I find that's it's been difficult to find good sushi here in the WA. Most of the places I've tried serve this blended up mush they try to pass off as ahi tuna eww gives me goss bumps thinking about it. This place on the other hand surpassed my expectation. The fish was very fresh with the vibrancy of color in tact, dish presentation was on point, and service was very prompt and friendly. The space is small But still open with a calm and relaxing feel. The price point is amazing considering the quality of what you get. I am without a doubt going to be returning to try everything else on their menu and most especially get me that lion king roll that reminds me of a favorite that I often order at this sushi place back home. It's a must try for those of you looking to eat here.

The service was good although our waiter was very soft spoken. Happy Hour is a nice perk with 20% off sushi. Ordered Mt. Rainier roll, Crazyhorse roll, Hamachi and Maguro nigiri. Generous fish portions. Fresh and delicious. Worth checking out at least once.

I love chicken katsu and Roll Roll Roll has the best around hands down! Not everyone understands how to bread it just right but this place makes it light and with the perfect amount. As a family we love their rolls and nigiri. Service is great and the food is fast. I'd definitely recommend!

We were looking for a basic sushi place around town and this got some pretty solid reviews so we gave it a shot. We order couple philly rolls and cali rolls along with chicken teriyaki. The sushi was solid flavorful and fresh tasting. The teriyaki was a good portion and tasted pretty good. Prices were consistent to the market. Service was friendly and attentive. Its next door to my favorite baseball card shop so that doesnt hurt ha! So we will likely be back.

I got the Una-Temp and the Scallop Roll. The rice was a little more sticky and squishy than the firmer sushi rice that I'm used to, but the portions were generous. The tempura shrimp in the Una-Temp provided great crunch, there were large pieces of eel on top, and the eel sauce was tasty. I wasn't expecting the Scallop Roll to be warm; it was kind of strange. It's not in the description, but I think there may have been some mayo between the scallop and the rice, because it was a fairly goopy roll. The "sweet house sauce" seemed good, but I could barely taste it. The staff was very pleasant, the food was ready quickly, and they have a nice variety of options.

Roll Roll Roll is a great place to get sushi. The service is great, the selection is decent, and it's so convenient if you live in the Renton Highlands. I love that they sell sushi as well as other Japanese foods such as Japanese curry and udon. I've done take out and sit in and both experiences have been pleasant. The last time I went I ordered tempura udon and was pleasantly surprised with the amount and types of tempura I got. The broth was very clean and flavorful at the same time. Great for a rainy day or a Japanese craving.

Delicious! Went with my hubby and 7 year old daughter. She had the Kids Roll Roll Roll which had 4 Gyozo, white rice, potato croquette and 6 small rolls with seaweed, white rice and cucumber. She enjoyed her meal, especially the Gyozo. Hubs and I ordered tempura for an appetiser (fabulous): it was 2 shrimp, a mushroom, asparagus, carrot, potato and brocolli. For sushi we ordered the spicy tuna rolls (a nice kick, not too spicy), the Crazy Horse (4 rolls and they were HUGE! Lots of fish and great flavour), and the Godzilla. Godzilla was my favourite, the flavours were amazing, they were also large and the crab was sweet and creamy which might sound weird, but really complemented the whole roll. Excellent and friendly service, overall blll with tax and tip was just over $50 which was more than I expected / planned to pay, but in retrospect I think fair considering the quality. I would definitely go back and am pleased we found this spot thanks to other Yelpers!

This place is excellent. I ordered the Mt Rainier roll, the Newcastle roll and chicken teriyaki. Everything was delicious and the sushi was really fresh. The customer service was great. Prices are pretty reasonable for the size of the portion. I would definitely come back often. This place is fairly small but was a great find. I am bookmarking this place in case I'm craving good fresh and affordable sushi!

4.5 star rating? What?!? Did I miss something? We went in the restaurant and it was full.... But there were no Asian people eating besides my girlfriend and I. Not to be a 'hater' but... is it classified as good sushi if your only raters are eating California rolls and croquettes (at least based off the previous reviews/tips). Anyways... I guess I should just start my review... Service: Well I guess I can't really complain. The hostess was nice, the waiter was very friendly and when we told them we needed another couple minutes, he came back in a couple minutes (not 10...). They said everyone else just ordered sushi so it would take a little longer since our order came after, annoying but very understandable as the restaurant isn't that large and only had one person making rolls. Food/value: (I've listed the price, I'll let you decide the value) 1) Tempura Roll: large pieces, delicious $8.95/4 pieces 2) Mariners Roll: Good flavor, good cut of tuna and Unagi. $11.95/6 pieces 3) Agedashi Tofu: 3 small pieces of tofu with a shrimp draped over it. The tofu was breaded alright but not a fan of the consistency. I prefer my tofu to be soft. Ehh.. $4.95 4) Sake Nigiri: At first glance, $2.50 is pretty pricey for 1 piece of salmon. When I ate it, it was well prepared. The rice was the right portion, there was wasbi on the rice under the salmon, and the salmon was a good thick cut that was nicely marbled. At second glance, still pricey, but not as disappointed as I could have been. $5.00/2 pieces 5) Sake Maki: Salmon to rice proportion was very good. I'll let you decide the value. $4.95/6 pieces Overall this place has good cuts and slices but it is still pricey. Good once a year, but I wouldn't come back for taste+value, only for convenience.

Great sushi in Renton! I had the crazy horse and the ruby blossom (pretty sure that's what it's called. Delicious, if not a bit to much for one person. Everyone is really friendly and very down to earth (caught the gentleman who took my order I singing along with Cher). I took mine take out and it was prepared quickly and expertly. I will be back!

I went to triple roll sushi on a wednesday evening with my friend, and it was empty. We were going to be the only customers in the store, it was around 8:30 and they close at 9. They still welcomed us in and we ordered 2 specialty rolls and a chirashi bowl. I was concerned about the quality of the food since it did not look busy and the place looked very modest. I quickly learned not to judge a book by its cover. I was humbled. This was some of the best sushi i have ever had. Same quality you can get at a place like Umi Sake, at a very decent price.

  • Erin O.

I've eaten here 4 times now. Every time the quality of the food impresses me, but also the way the sushi chef really wants to find out what you like and help create it. The rolls are delicious but I like the chef choice sushi plates. It's in a small, unimpressive strip mall in the Renton highlands. A long jaunt for someone in Seattle. But I still recommend making the trek. It is casual so not a people watching spot. Just really good sushi at a good price.

This is a non-dedcript tucked away little establishment in the Northeast corner of Renton with a small dining room that seats no more than 18 or so people with a sushi bar for another 4 or so. It is pleasantly decorated inside but nothing upscale. It looks to me like a family run operation and is a very casual sit down place (for instance, your soda comes in a can.) They have a flat screen to watch TV/Sports. What really stood out at this place is how friendly the people running it were. Service was very polite and attentive although a little forgetful regarding bringing plates and soy sauce dishes but a quick reminder and they were immediately fetched for us. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the hot dishes. You get a huge plate of food for as low as $10 (see Yakisoba and Chicken Katsu as examples.) The sushi is decent although the fish quality and selection is nothing extraordinary - pretty basic, but appropriate in my opinion for this type of establishment. Prices a little less of a bargain with most nigiri costing $5 per order (2 pieces) but size of cuts are generous, much much larger than a conveyor belt place. I didn't try the rolls but if you like them, they have a large selection of creative rolls. Rice was a little under seasoned in my opinion but that can vary. I could afford to eat here multiple times per week and if I lived closer by I would. If they keep this up, I think there will start to be a waiting line, at least on Fri and Sat nights so I may have to resort to take-out.

The exterior is so dark- I drove by. But once inside we sat at the sushi bar and watch the creations being made. Fun to watch! I had the Mt. Rainier and Maki rolls both were good. I wish I had gotten the Lion King- it looked amazing. My daughter had Katsu Chicken. She enjoyed hers too. All and all- it was worth the stop.

Cute family owned sushi restaurant. Very friendly service, maybe a little too friendly though. It was a little uncomfortable since my boyfriend and I were the only ones in there and the staff just stood there staring at us the whole time. There was a fly buzzing around our food and the worker/owner (I'm not sure) came to our table trying to catch it for a good minute. It ended up landing on the side of my bowl and he actually grabbed it with his fingers. A little odd. Other than that, the food was amazing.

One of the better sushi places in Renton for sure. I find the value is very strong as the fish is always fresh, friendly and fast service and a reasonable cost! What more could you ask for? For the same product, you often will find yourself paying a few extra bucks per roll and might not get the same service. I really enjoy going to this place as it seems to still be a gem not discovered or exploited yet. The place is a little bit small although I haven't been there yet when it is really busy so I have always felt it to be an intimate feel. I could see if you went with more than 4 people or if they are busy that it could be burdensome for both restaurant and customer.

  • Dan W.

Really liked the Mt Rainier roll, the Lion King roll was good too, but a little too much sauce in my opinion: mayo for the salmon while it cooks and a sweet sauce were too much for me... The salmon gets covered up by the sauce and other ingredients. I still liked it, just not as much as the Mount Rainier. After both rolls I was full. Rolls are tightly wrapped and approved of presentation. Slow during lunch time, but picks up during dinner. Place is clean, service is good and friendly.

  • Dali D.

Fish did not look or taste fresh at all. Service was good, the place seems clean but the food is a big no, because you just can't eat old raw fish. We had two pieces each and left the rest. I wonder if the got 4 stars and a half for their teriyaki, but unfortunately the sushi was not good.

It's a little expensive compared to other sushi places, but this place is pretty good and definitely gives you large portions. Heck, this was one of the only times I had to ask for a take home box for my leftover sushi.

Excellent service!! Sushis and rolls are very good!! A lot of variety of delicious rolls! My favorite ones are cherry blossom, lion king, rainbow, sunset. Try them all, they are delicious! The teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu are also very good and the portions are huge! The best thing is that it's pricy at all compared to other sushi places.

  • Florence C.

I walk in 8pm on a Wednesday evening. The place is full. Stupidest thing though, Sushi bar seats 6 people, but there are 4 seated and it's full. Do you people really have to sit in the middle and leave spaces on either side of you? The owner could politely suggest to take "these 2" seats and the customer usually doesn't mind. Anyways, we are seated 15 minutes later and at this time, there's 3 other groups of 2, all beginning to get their food and one group of 7 almost done. It tastes another 5 min to take out order. Another 4 minutes later we get our water. Food is decent, but service sucks! Is it because I'm Asian and not Korean? It's now 8:45 and I'm still waiting on my creamy scallop and lion roll. We had a tempura, curry udon, spider and crunch roll so far. Everything was placed at once. Oh, here comes my lion king roll. Apparently, they are out of scallop for my creamy scallop and i didn't find out until now! Sushi chef seems sincerely polite. 1* for him. 2nd star because good is decent and fairly priced.

I love this place. Good sushi selection, wonderful service and I love their saba shioyaki. Not a fancy restaurant, just a very comfortable mom and pop shop to grab a quick dinner.

Definitely a fan of their sushi, the taste was amazing. Very friendly people, They always seemed to be in a happy mood which I love. I loved how fresh it tasted but not too fresh if you know what I mean (Fishy Smell that nobody likes..) I recommend this place to any sushi lover. Good for groups of 5 or less. its not big ill be honest but they definitely deserve a bigger place to serve this AMAZING sushi, hopefully someday! Menus are spoken with PICTURES! Yes! Who else loves to see how the sushi is prepared before you see it? I DO. Maybe a little off topic, Bathroom is clean. No worries. May be a little dim in light but you can see, I promise.

In short, the food is of high quality and they take good care of the food. We were in the neighborhood for a swim meet and we needed lunch. I ordered a California roll, Lion King roll and a pork katsu curry to take out. The rolls were tasty and of generous size. Our Cali roll connoisseur princess gave them 2 thumbs up. The salmon on the LK roll was perfectly done - the mix of cooked and raw salmon was amazing. For the katsu, they packed the curry in a separate container to keep the katsu crispy. Will be back next time in the neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I really like this restaurant. Though it's small, it's a great place to grab dinner and enjoy fresh sushi. Also, they are very accommodating to my vegetarian needs, which is a HUGE plus, as there aren't very many Japanese restaurants with good vegetarian options. We would highly recommend the Lion King roll, chicken teriyaki, and the dinner bento special. Roll, Roll, Roll is definitely my go-to sushi place.

Sushi Roll Roll Roll is amazing! My boyfriend recently took me here, since he's a regular and I absolutely loved it. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious. My personal favorite is the chicken katsu plate, but everything here Is absolutely delicious. Their asian salad is to die for and you get a lot of food for the cost. It's a small intimate environment and definitely a place we will be going back to many times over!

My wife and I like this place. One of the best place in Renton for Teriyaki and sushi. Great deal during lunch for their sushi. Sushi always taste fresh and bright. I love both their lunch & dinner bento box. My wife loves their salmon roll. I like the Godzilla. Crazy Horse is awesome! When we come in we are always greeted with a smile. We like going here. Glad we can get some great sushi!

Did not know this place existed. Food was A-OK, nothing really stand out or was there anything bad about it. The restaurant was pretty empty for a Saturday night, service was a little slow but they are nice people. The bill came out a little more expensive than what I had anticipated.

Thanks to Yelpers who lead me to this hidden restaurant! Had a roll (can't remember which one but had 3 different fish), salmon katsu, and chicken teriyaki. All were amazing! You can tell the fish is much better than most other sushi places and you actually get more of the fish rather than rice! Salmon katsu was crisp yet moist. And the chicken teriyaki had really good sauce. Large portions on the plates we had. Well worth it and will probably be a regular here!

Super friendly service. Good sushi, generous with their fish portions. The teriyaki is quality too, unlike a lot of sushi places that try to do both. Not super cheap but it's worth the price.

Place is clean and owners are extremely nice. Ordered gyoza, curry udon, spider roll. The roll was HUGE I had to eat each piece in two bites. And it was my first time trying curry. It was really good!!! Really simple pork curry broth udon and green onions. However simplicity makes it so delicious!

I took my wife here for Valentines Day and she had a great experience. We had sushi and it was top notch. Other comments mentioned the Miso soup, but we were as impressed with that as I would have hoped. People across from us had the Terrieky Chicken, and they were very large plates for the price they paid. Price was a little less than what we would normally pay, and we had the attention of the owners and got treated very well. I would highly recommend it if you are in the Renton Highlands. The restaurant is small, so I wouldn't recommend a large group. But if you are looking for great sushi or asian food, this would be a place that you will want to go.

I went here since I read the stellar reviews on the place and wanted to try a new place. Environment: It's located in a small shopping center. Inside there is a small sushi bar and seating. It's small but has really cute decor. Food: The food was fresh and tasty with a variety of options. Service: Great service. The owner was our waiter and he was very kind and helped me decide on what to order. I'm sure I'd come back if I were in the area. Love supporting local family owned businesses.

REALLY Good place. So I'm a huge fan of big rolls like they are doing in California. I search a longtime and I discovered this restaurant! Really good rolls, the fish is super high quality and fresh. My wife is pregnant, so she avoid fish and eat their chicken katsu and beef=SUPER good too. The owner is nice and friendly. I recommend!

This place is amazing! We found it while waiting to see a movie, and figured it would be a good snack. A Mt. Rainer roll and Lion King later we were in heaven! The fish melts in your mouth, and the ratios of ingredients are spot on. They use less rice than a lot of places which is great because you don't feel bloated afterwards. The staff is awesome and attentive as well, they even threw in free miso because it was cold outside... All in all if you're looking for great sushi this is a great place to try!

I really wanted to like this place as I saw the great reviews and I'm a huge fan of sushi. The place is very small and quaint, and the service was very friendly. I ordered 2 different salmon rolls, as well as a tuna roll, and what came out was definitely NOT salmon. I was extremely disappointed by the food, as well as the quality of the fish (whatever is was), and will not be returning. I hate writing such a sad review, but feel obligated to do so to inform other sushi-lovers. Their other food might be good, but definitely not the sushi!

Omg, this is the best sushi place ever, and I have been to many. The service is fantastic, and the food is fresh and delicious! Some of the food is so artistically crafted that it's a shame to eat it. The owner and Sushi chef is super nice and genuine. I go in there about once a week for dinner. Sushi Roll Roll Roll is the only place I will go for sushi. I am a CA transplant. Love this area!

I was very impressed with the quality of food and service here. The sushi combo had a lot of good variety, and the portion of fish was plentiful. Miso soup and hot sake were average. I felt welcomed by the staff and liked how they focused on providing delicious food while maintaining a modest atmosphere.

Fantastic food and tested like family; doesn't get better; scallop roll was the best; food had great flavor and was served in a timely manner; I would recommend this place to everyone who loves sushi; waitress was wonderful and respectful; sushi chef definitely knows his trade!

Too bad this place is kind of hidden from street view - it'd probably get a lot more business that it deserves. I heard they serve sushi here but I went straight for the lunch teri-chicken bowl and a 3-piece of croquette (the best I had in a while, and piping hot and crunchy). I think they could do well just serving their lunch menu it was so good. Roll through Roll Roll Roll when you're in Renton! You won't regret it.

Absolutely delicious sushi rolls. Fresh and flavorful. The potato croquettes and edamame were a hit with both us and the kids. Small restaurant, but I rather liked the intimacy. You could tell the care and pride that the owners took in their work. Will definitely be back, soon and often.

I'm a regular here, they have the best Lunch Menu! My favorite is the spicy chicken & the yakisoba is pretty good as well, it comes in a hot pot. I usually come here once a week, the owners are very friendly. Love em!

Was in the area and magically popped in here. Pleasant staff and above-average, clean, asian-themed decor (picture, kimono, fish wind socks(?))...). Neat purple bathroom and somewhat earthy colors. I had the Santa Claus app to start, which was spicy tuna over rice in a fried tofu skin, I think. It was nice. Why is it called that? I asked the guy up front and he didn't have much, but smiled. I shoulda asked the owner about this unique name for such a dish. Also, I got the Amiyaki Chicken which was pretty darn tasty, esp with that sauce. It was also pretty much the only thing I noticed that seemed safe but nothing I've seen or tried before in an asian restuarant. I can see coming back here if I lived in the area.

Live nearby and read the great reviews so I decided to give this a shot. Spicy teriyaki and several rolls (Aloha, Husky, California) we're all excellent and competitively priced. We'll definitely be back.

When I first come to this restaurant, the food was amazing, ever better than a nice Japanese restaurant which about 50 bucks per person.

I decided to check out this place after reading the reviews. Mind you I just arrived to WA after living in Japan for 3 years, I was hesitant to eat stateside sushi bc it's nothing like the real thing in Japan. I am happy to report that this restaurant serves great food! Portions are ginourmous. The staff (which I assume are the owners) were very polite and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to enjoy some delicious Japanese food!

I wandered in out of desperation and curiosity, tempted by the 'Just Opened' sign and a hunger for something that hadn't been deep fried. (* I had just picked up dry cleaning next door, otherwise I would've missed it) Best decision ever. I felt out of my depth reading the menu (not an experienced sushi person here), so simply asked if they had something like what I was looking for. Not only was the owner super happy to help, but the chef whipped up something extraordinary that was THE most delicious thing I've eaten since my mom stopped cooking for me. Can't speak for everybody's tastes or authenticity of recipes, but it was exceptionally presented, fresh, delicious, made fast and they couldn't have been nicer.

This was so good! The owners were very sweet & helpful & the food was beautifully & artfully arranged. The place is very *quaint* inside, we actually ate outside since it was pretty busy. It was a perfect summer evening, and DELICIOUS sushi & great service! We will be back the next time we are in town.

The food was good, but we stopped going because the service was so slow. Clearly, much more attention is paid to carry-out orders. Numerous people came in and picked up orders while we waited for our food.

I always search for a good local sushi spot and I have found that in Sushi and Teriyaki. Their stir fried vegetables are great, their obento boxes are even better for the price! I always get some sort of sushi and a dinner. Nothing I have tried has never failed to be delicious. I have brought many friends here and everyone has always enjoyed the food. I highly recommend. Update: this review was written back when this place was called sushi and teriyaki. The stir fried veggies (yasai itame) is not the same at all and I could barely eat it :( also my biggest pet peeve is that their menu is no longer available. Just a photo that I can't enlarge so I can't order anymore because I don't know what's available

This is my favorite place to get sushi in Renton. The sushi is excellent, and very fairly priced. I've been eating here for over ten years and will continue to do so. It's a very small restaurant in an older strip mall, so you might miss it if you drive by. I always order the Maki Combo, which consists of a California Roll, a Spicy Tuna Roll, and a Shrimp Tempura Roll, all for $14. The Spider Roll and Volcano Roll are excellent choices as well.

Great dinner bento box! Friendly service and casual atmosphere, not fancy and no annoying music. This is a small restaurant with quality sushi at a reasonable price. Great addition to the Renton/Newcastle neighborhood!

My new fav local sushi joint! Price point and quantity is perfect, taste and quality is spot on, excellent menu/variety, and service is great! Not the greatest location, can be hard to miss, but well worth it if you can find it. Docked it a star for ambience - they could make it more inviting by changing up the décor or something.

Hands down, our favorite spot in the Bellevue/Issaquah/Renton area for sushi and terriyaki. The sushi rolls are phenomenal- light, never dense. Favorites are the spicy tuna and the crunchy salmon skin rolls. The udon noodles nice and chewy, if the broth is a little salty. Skip the miso soup, the tofu is so small I'd call it minced, and the broth is watery. Tempura is amazing, and they have great prices on teriyaki and katsu. You can call ahead for take out too.

When in the Renton Highlands and your craving sushi you've gotta come here. Service is amazing food is just as good. Nice little mom and pop spot if you have a big group try out the gangsta , Golden State. Their kitchen food is good as well try everything you won't regret it.

I love coming here whenever I crave for sushi. Being a regular, I was able to ask for a custom veggie roll filled with avocado, cucumber, seaweed salad, and unagi sauce, and it is absolutely heaven! I'm also a big fan of their curry udon, in which I call for the meat on the side. Their chirashi bowl and spicy cheese chicken are my fiancé's favourites and he also seems to love the meat that comes with the curry udon as well. Their hot tea is also a fav of mine; it smells and tastes delicious, and is perfect on a cold or rainy day! Service is impeccable and I always feel very welcomed when I come in (: They're very polite and friendly, and I feel right at home when I'm there.

I like good sushi, plain and simple. But I also like a little fluff to my sushi -- some variation, a good garlic sauce or some jalapeños to spice things up -- literally. This place has fresh fish and good food, but almost everything is some form of a fried roll. Just doesn't suit my fancy. I would go here if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go. Their baked scallop roll was the best item we had. The ambiance is nice, small and only 6 or 7 tables.

Good for a neighborhood sushi spot. Very similar to Sushi Cafe also in renton. Nice people. The chirashi bowl was just ok quality wise, but reasonably priced so its ok. I may not get this again though next time I go. Boyfriend got the curry beef udon. It seemed super worth it because of the size and also it was real steak pieces. But the bowl sorta smelled like the soap they used to clean it still. BOO. I would come back though to try other items.

We came here looking to try sushi. We are new to the area from the south, and we figured the asian food here in WA is going to be different and better than our southern experiences. This is a small spot and I actually passed it trying to find it. It's behind another building, so you can't see it from the road. Didn't matter, it was almost full inside. One large party had several tables. Sushi bar full. We were able to get 2 small tables pushed together. Leaving another small table which filled up after us. And people kept coming to eat there but ended up with takeout. And a lot of people come in for takeout! There is only one guy serving on the floor so he got busy. However, overall service was good. The menu has good variety. And I love the sushi pictures/description menu he left with us. We had gyoza to start. We enjoyed these. Crispy and flavorful. They were fried. I hope to find pan fried one day somewhere. But these were good. We had a Mt Ranier roll(spicy tuna isn't that spicy), Alaska(fried Philly roll), and one more I just can't remember ...oh the Rainbow(california with sashimi on top). We enjoyed all the rolls but the Alaska was the most tasty. Presentation was nice. Oh, we also had salmon sashimi, it was just ok. I have had better. One kid got the Chicken Katsu. This is a huge portion. Two fried chicken breast with rice, salad, and soup. The soup is very good. I didn't care for the dressing on the salad. Very plain. This kid ate a lot of this meal. Still kinda hungry dad got the spicy chicken breast teriyaki. It was fine. He really enjoyed it. It had a lot of flavor without being too hot. I think that is all we had. We enjoyed our meal immensely and will be returning. We enjoyed the intimacy of the place. It wasn't loud. We had a great meal and will be back.

I went here last Friday for dinner with my friend. I had been wanting to try this place for a while now and I'm really glad I did. The restaurant is small and the decor inside is very cute and homely. We ordered the Lion king roll, new castle roll, and I got hamachi nigiri. The cut of hamachi was really fresh and I was kind of surprised at the size. Both rolls we ordered were really good and came out not too long after we ordered. I will definitely start ordering here more often. Service was quick and the owner was really nice. He stopped by our table a couple times to check up on us.

I ordered takeout here to have sushi for the game and it was ready quickly. I had the Newcastle roll, creamy scallop, and the crazy horse. The crazy horse only has four rolls to it but was big and interesting how they make it with big cuts of fish in the roll. The sushi was good and had more flavour than the other popular place nearby. I only wish their menu had more spicy ahi. I love rolls with shrimp tempura and spicy ahi, and they didn't have that (at least from what their menu says). I would order from here again.

In the neighborhood and feeling like sushi, saw this place with 4+ stars figured can't go wrong. Disappointed, small plates, food taste bland, service is slow. Smallest miso soup ever! The amount given was less than most tempura sauce from other restaurants. Will not recommend to friends or come back.

Went here after a pretty intense hike looking to fill my stomach... They did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and prompt, and while the place was not very big, it had a lot of charm. I ordered the Ranier roll and the Tempura roll, my roommate had the cherry blossom and a Ranier, and my girlfriend ordered the Rainbow Roll... The sushi was amazing and the presentation was spot on.

My husband and I frequent Roll Roll Roll often- both dine in and getting takeout. Always friendly service and tasty food. It can be a bit slow when it's crowded, but affordable prices and tasty food make up for it. Recommended!

This is definitely a hole in the wall. Decided to come here after looking at yelp and definitely not regretting it. We got the chicken teriyaki, chicken yakisoba, and chirashi bowl. Everything was yummy. The portion was pretty generous, especially the teriyaki since it was only $6 for salad, rice , meat, and a bowl of miso soup. The sushi was fresh. Will try the katsu next. The only reason I'm giving a 4 and not a five is because the service was a little slow. However, this is gonna be my go to places now for teriyaki.

The title is hilarious, and the interior appears to have been decorated by a 13 year old girl, but the food is no joke. I always have a salmon roll, and it was so fresh and light. In addition to this, I decided to try raw octopus. I wish I had taken a picture of it, because it looks as appetizing as it tasted. Because I was feeling like a gluttonous pig, I also ordered a side of croquettes and tempura ice cream for dessert. I only made it though one croquette, so I'm glad my stomach told me to stop picking on it. In addition to all of this, the owner is attentive and friendly. I'd say on a scale of 1-10 on the level of adorableness, the owner and waitress/cook are solid 9s. I could watch them work all day, but I won't because that's weird. I'll definitely be going here again :)

I was excited to try roll roll roll because of all the hype ^_^ I'm not that big on sushi and haven't tried it many times so I was excited to give it a go here. I ordered teriyaki which had good flavoring but I kept getting little bites of fat on the chicken which I don't like a lot of when I eat teriyaki. I liked the portion size and the price though! My bf got the California roll and the spicy tuna. I tried the California roll and didn't care much for the imitation crab in the middle. It didn't have much flavor so I was just left with the texture. It was well prepared for though and the owner was super nice! I thought the whole meal seemed average.
