I ordered the Pad Thai, egg rolls, and Thai ice tea. The Pad Thai was very orange which is in indication that I was about to eat a ketchup-based Pad Thai. I hate ketchup-based Pad Thai. The good thing is that it wasn't the worse Ketchup-based Pad Thai. I would give it a 3 out of 10. The Thai Ice Tea was also very orange. (I hope the didn't put Ketchup in it too). It had a very gross taste and was the worse Thai Ice Tea I have tasted. The egg rolls were pretty good and orange inside. I'd give them a 5 out of 10. While eating, I noted a colony of little black sugar ants all over the floor. Closer inspection, I noticed food all over the floor under the table. Pretty gross sight! There is also a huge hole in ceiling by restrooms from what appears to be from a water leak. I will not be going there again.

Despite messing up orders occasionally, this is a solid restaurant. Their Pho' is by far the best item on the menu, and the hardest to screw up. Call ahead to ensure you get prompt service. I have yet to try their delivery, or even eat inside, (think non-descript Asian restaurant in a strip mall). Definitely solid, but definitely not an institution.

When I was in college, a professor once said -- and I'm sure it is a cliché now but at the time, that's the first I've heard of it -- "GOD is in the details." Like every logical person would, the first thing I picked up and perused through when I sat down at this restaurant was the menu. One item read, "in a pranut sauce." Hmmm... I wonder what a pranut sauce is. Then I read, choice of meat: "beef, chicken or pord." It took me less than 30 seconds to figure out these were but two of SEVERAL typos and that NOBODY has proof-read this menu! I even jokingly asked the waiter what's a pranut and she just gave me a knowing smile that tells me I'm not the first one who pointed "these" out. This seems to be mean but I was taught that if you want to be taken seriously and professionally, you have to present yourself seriously and professionally. We ended up ordering wonton soup, some sort of "vermicelli" soup and an order of fried rice with sweet pord sausage in it. First one delivered was the Wonton Soup -- it was SALTY! It was so salty that I had to pour HALF of my glass of water to make the thing edible! :( The Vermicelli soup was average. The fried rice was SWEET -- and I mean it tasted like they put brown sugar in the rice. This was the FIRST time I ever tasted fired rice that is sweet! I did not like it. :( I think the menu was an indication that I should have just gotten up from my seat and proceeded to Pho Vy where I ORIGINALLY wanted to have dinner to begin with. On the other hand, now I know where NOT to get some Chinese food in Olympia. Jimmy Restaurant crossed out of the list. 'Been there. 'Tried it. 'NOT coming back.

Get the Pineapple fried rice served in an emptied out pineapple. Amazing. Comes with chinese sausage and bbq pork. Keeps you coming back to Jimmy's just for that! Prob the best pineapple fried rice I have ever had! I give it 4 stars since I've not tried much else on the menu. The mango salad and the drunken noodles were ok. IT's ALL ABOUT THE PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE! So go get some NOW!!!!

I recently gave Jimmy's a try. I tried the ginger chicken, a thai food barometer dish for me. It did not have enough ginger. It was ok, but there are too many options in the area for me to return.

Well I just moved to the west coast from the mid west; Missouri to be more specific. there, there's more restaurants than people. I was VERY surprised that on a very un-busy Sunday night and yet my take out food "left a lot on the table". Tasteless, uninspiring and $10 Pad Thai meal that an ousted contestant from Masterchef Junior-Tanzania edition would have more presentation, complexity and taste. Not to mention that my $40 bill for two still had space at the top of my bag to triple tie the knot. What?? Last I knew, Chinese is full of flavor. Even a bit over the top. Moreover, usually comes with a double bonus of an abundance of food. Not the case here. A couple of TV dinners and mico-waved shrimp for my honey and I and would have kept a $20 spot in my pocket. Off to find the best Chinese in Lacey or Olympia........The Saga continues......

I love Jimmy's! I usually get the coconut chicken number 4 spice and I am never disappointed! I get it so nuch that Jimmy himself knows who I am and my order every time I come in! I also enjoy their Vietnamese sandwiches!

My partner and I come here/order out from here several times a month. Their fried rice is amazing. My girl orders their Tom ka gai soup and is so good too. My favorite thing to order is the coconut chicken. Enough for 2 meals alone. This place is great. Always fresh, how, and good. Service is great too.

Oh Jimmy's... You are by which I set the standard to all Green Curries to. I have no idea how you make it so sweet and such a neon green color compared to every other Green Curry I've ever had along the I-5 corridor, but its delicious, and its my favorite. Everyone I have taken to you says they've had better Thai Food here, or "the best Thai Food" there, and make it sound like they are the experts in Thai food- but Jimmy's...sweet Jimmy's...I will always love eating your Green Curry no matter what anyone says. ...and when you make it 10-stars spicy, its the best.

Jimmy's is the old lunch stand-by at work and for good reason. Prices are very reasonable and the food is outstanding. The owner is always smiling and welcoming you as you come in. He seems to be perpetually refilling your glass of water. It's weird, event the water is good here. Ice cold with a hint of lemon and the perfect compliment to the spicy Thai cuisine. Whenever my co-workers and I can't agree on where to go for lunch, someone will always suggest Jimmy's and then there is a momentary silence, that is followed by pavlovian salavation, and finally head nodding in unison. Occasionally someone will attempt to protest and say "But, we went to Jimmy's yesterday" at which point they will be over ruled by someone else questioning "And?" My current favorite from Jimmy's is the green bean stir fry. My co-workers swear by the swimming rama and the green curry. Jimmy's will even customize the spice level above the standard 5 stars if you ask, but be carefully. I've witness the request of 20 star green curry and it came out red and covered in tiny little peppers!

First introduced to Jimmy's by a local friend, I quickly became a fan. It is now a family favorite. The dining room is a little overly decorated for my taste, but I do not visit for the scenery. Our favorites include their Panang Curry Beef and Singapore Noodles. Their Panang Curry is thick and yummy with a different combination of veggies each time we dine. The first they included both beef and chicken as well as chunks of tender juicy pineapple which was a nice treat. The last two times we discovered no pineapple. I'm not sure why they would be previously rated as lacking portion because we always leave their with food in tow for later consumption. Singapore Noodles are just plain good eating comfort food. They are angel hair-like noodles flavored with yummy curry and stir fried with cabbage, carrots, peppers, onions and eggs among other things. When I am feeling the need of a good bone warming meal I order ahead for a four star spiced Singapore Noodles, head home to curl up on my sofa with a blanket and a good movie... I will say that I am not a fan of Jimmy's Fresh Rolls because they are filled with rice noodles and white lettuce pieces and wrapped with rice wraps that had become too gelatonious. I did not taste any basil or other fresh herb either. I'm curious to try their Phad Thai as that is how I usually begin rating a Thai restaurant, but haven't approached it yet as the owner couldn't tell me if he served the brown Phad Thai or the orange. From what he seemed to convey was the saucey orange variety and I'm not that fond of it. I think Jimmy's is a great little local restaurant with powerful flavor filled dishes and very friendly service. Oh... let them know you want a pitcher of water at the start of your visit. I rank it a 2 dollar mark for price as I believe 8.95 for a generous main course that includes rice a good deal.

I had Jimmy's BBQ beef, Spring rolls and Thai iced coffee. There were two hairs in my BBQ beef :( (that's probably not a regular ingredient) but everything else was pretty good. I'll probably come back again... the whole meal came to over $17

High prices for mid-sized portions of uninspired food. Atmosphere is a step up from the usual zero most "authentic" SE asian places have, and the service was nice enough (though a little absent), but the food just wasn't that great, and $10 for lunch seems like a lot given the size and quality of the portions.
