For an order at the counter and seat yourself place this was pretty good. Turkey burger- B+ lots of toppings and generous cheese. Not dry like many turkey burgers. Veggie burger- C- like eating a bun full of rice pilaf. Classic Burger- B+ like a typical chain burger Kids pizza- A- large portion and fruit and veggie side dish choices

The Blazing Onion was good. The service was great, however it had a strong chain restaurant feel. It was like a Chili's and sports bar had a baby, but with food that wasn't OMG. I had a chicken burger with onion rings... The plates were fancy, however too small for the burger, so condiments and part of the burger were falling off the plate. I was driving through on my way to Vancouver and I was looking for something awesome and unique. I would go back and try something new, if I was driving through again. The people were extremely friendly and I loved that about the Blazing Onion.

A little surprised to see so many reviewers Giving this restaurant a 3 star or less because Of their ordering process. ?? A little different, but So what! Great food, great service! One of my And hubby's favorite spots!Never had bad food Or service and we've been a few handfuls of times. Just went last night for early dinner happy hour . Had grilled fish taco's and chopped salad with A glass of Riesling um Yum, again happy as ever. If you get freaked out by ordering before you sit Down sit in the lounge area where a server takes Your order or go someplace else. Food & drinks well worth Style of restaurant. I also find ambience very Comfortable and cool, can sit inside or out. I recommend , go :) ps. Would have taken pic of Food but too busy scarfing it down yum!

I have a rough limit to how much I'm willing to pay for a burger. Generally, any burger that's more than $15 is not worth it. So when I happen to be really hungry and order one of their bigger burgers, but even that falls short of expectations, then it's safe to assume everything else in the restaurant is unnecessarily overpriced. "The Beast" is a burger that cost me roughly $18 after tax and tip. There was a side of fries to accompany the tall burger of bacon and onion rings. I'm not even sure whether that's any consolation because it just serves as a reminder that I'm paying all this for basically a ton of junk food for lunch. Somebody please remind these people that burgers aren't that complicated; their prices should be adjusted accordingly.

Same ol' same ol'...nothing new here Burgers, etc. and they were what you get at any other sit down fast food chain. We had two burgers and two beers for 41.00 with tip.

I/we walked into the restaurant only to be asked if we'd been there before. When we said no the hostess gave us a pair of menus and told us that we place our order here (lobby) or if we were 21+ (which we are) we could go into the bar and be served there. I guess I wasn't (mentally) prepared for Burger King or McDonald's style of ordering. I was wanting "restaurant style" service. I/we opted to not give it a try and walked out.

  • Coty V.

When we walked in we were a little surprised by the fact that you order up front and pay first (this makes it difficult to know how much to tip) then we sit down and in the booth behind me I hear the manager scolding one of the employees... I thought this was very unprofessional and feel like there are more appropriate places to do this But when our food came it was delicious and didn't take long to arrive... Left full and satisfied

What do you do after the Hawks win? Get a burger of course. I have not been to this location before but have been to other Blazing onions in the past. Service was top notch. You order up front which is a little weird but whatever. They come and check on you often and are super pleasant. Food is pretty tasty. I had the Mac and cheese which is made in house and pretty good. Burgers here are huge and unlimited fry's can't be beat. I also had a chocolate/banana shake. So good. Real Banana's and real ice cream. Super thick and good. I will be coming back here just based on the service I received.

The main oddity is their service model, and I'm not sure it works very well. I think the point of the service model is to reduce order errors and wait time. We've received food that wasn't made as it was ordered and we've had more than one occassion where the wait time has been pretty long even though they weren't busy. You order at the lobby and receive a tile to put on your table so the server knows where to bring your food. Soda and water is self serve. Your food comes out mostly together if you're in a large-ish group (5-7 entrees). The servers asks if you want any sauces or condiments after bringing you your food which seems to reduce the effiency of the service model quite a bit. Especially if you're the kind of person who likes to have your sauces/condiments before you start eating your meal. The food is decent. The portions are pretty large. The deserts are huge and they are priced accordingly. One desert can easily feed two people with a sweet tooth or four people who just like a moderate amount of sweets after their meal. If you actually enjoy sportsball while eating you'd probably like it here.

Decent food and service, especially during weekend lunch time. My wife and I usually sit in the bar so we can avoid kids though so your mileage may vary. The food is what you would expect from a Red Robin, Applebees, etc. I prefer this location to the one in Mill Creek which is a few miles from where I work.

First time coming here. Quiet different from other places. You order before you sit down and then you put up a sign to get help. Interesting concept I guess I am glad that it wasn't super busy because I wonder how that works if you order and pay for your food then find out you have no where to sit??? Anyways I was surprised with the selection of burgers you could order. From regular beef to turkey to wild boar? Buffalo? I went with the buffalo or bison burger. It was flavorful and juicy. My daughter got the classic cheeseburger and that thing was huge but she took it down! The food came out fast due to ordering ahead which is a plus! you also have bottomless fries! My daughter's favorite is the soda fountain where you can add flavors to regular sodas like Rasberry coke or lime mr. pibb. Staff was friendly and attentive. It was interesting that you didn't just have one person helping you anyone would help you if you put the sign up which is great!

Service: Like all first times, it was a bit awkward; but mainly because you order like you're at a fast food joint and then sit down and get waited on like you're at a restaurant. And getting serviced is quite nice... The waiting staff is very helpful and friendly. It was comforting to see the waiters and waitresses with smile on their faces as they walked around. Happy servers make happy customers. Our waiter was very helpful (he suggested which dipping sauces paired well with different appetizers: onion petals go nicely with the Sriracha sauce) and very attentive; just an overall nice person. He made our experience a happy one. Food: If you like to indulge in gluttonous behavior, then you're in for a stomach-bursting treat. There are just so many wonderful-sounding/wonderful-looking items on the menu to choose from... We began our fatting with bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers. They came with this tangy dipping sauce (and plated with lettuce... which also tastes great in the dipping sauce). They had a great kick to them but nothing too overwhelming in the spicy department. They tasted great. I enjoyed sucking out the creamy sauce that was stuffed inside the jalapenos. Mmmmm. One of the cool "endless" options you can choose is subbing your endless fries with onion rings, onion petals, etc. and then getting the endless fries. I chose the onion rings. Crispy and sharable. They also dip well (the dipping sauces are complimentary). I went with the Texas heat burger. The bun that they slather this hamburger and all its drippy toppings onto is sensational. The meat was juicy; the sauces were juicy, it was a finger-slurp-fest. Oh, and I had 1 basket of the endless fries. Not very many, but that's a good thing; you don't have to worry about wasting fries. I scored a few sweet potato fries in my basket :D WINNING! Then there came dessert. My hubby was a bit more practical than I was. He wasn't sure that we could finish their mondo mud pie. My eyes called bullshit on my stomach, and I was really ready to go for the whole pie... but we asked if we could get half of the pie (which we got and devoured... SO. MUCH. YUM). We took the other half to go (we got a small separate container filled with fudge topping). Our waiter was super awesome and put an extra bag of ice in our to-go bag so that the ice cream wouldn't melt. My hubby's only issue with the pie was that there wasn't enough cookie crust. I was very satisfied with the ice cream ratio of the cake. Our to-go mud pie made it through the night in a hotel fridge and we had it for breakfast (because why not?) Thank you, Blazing Onion, for being so awesome. Be very proud of the waiting staff that you have, because they ARE truly the heroes of our dining experience :D

Blazing onion hit the mark tonight, great food, friendly staff, ease of ordering, and a clean restaurant. Most folks don't like the ordering system but frankly I love it,it's different makes them stand out..and if u want a server their a button push away, having a server check up on me is nice, but sometimes I just want to be left alone with my family. .they get that. ..and no pressure to tip, that's the cool part. .I will be going back!

Trevor was an excellent server. Provided a sample of the salad dressing ahead if time Shen he suspected it might be too hot for my wife... And with a smile. Very attentive. Good air circulation for those with sensitivities to perfume and the like. Good food an Great service. Will come back.

One of my favorite franchises! This was the first blazing onion I have ever tried, like all blazing onions this establishment is clean and tastefully decorated. The staff is friendly and the service is great! Just to add blazing onion is one of the few burger joints that offer alternative meat for there burgers.

We only dine in the bar, but we come here pretty frequently. The last te, the manager brought us a free sample of an appetizer. Very classy. All in all very consistent quality and service, but it does seem better in the bar section.

I have gone to this Blazing Onion three times now. Once when they first opened, and yes they did have some issues, but they were so new, it was expected. Nothing to get upset about. I have sat in the bar area each time, not sure how I feel about the other area yet, but I can't knock it till I try it. The selection of burgers was great for being a burger company. I love that they have buffalo as an option and they also cater to Gluten Free. While there this last time I asked for no bun and she responded asking if I would like a lettuce bun. I did not know that this was an option, so now it will be one of my new favorite places to eat lower carbs and enjoy what I am eating. Burger was cooked perfectly and being on a lettuce bun it did not turn out too juicy or make that much of a mess as some places do. Service has always been great and the waiters have always been very friendly. I look forward to my next visit!

Great food! Fair prices. Friendly staff. Only reason not a five star is because the iPad system isn't up yet and the front gets crowded.

  • Nickie D.

Walking in the door and being told that our party of 5 adults and 2 children would not be seated at a table until we ordered our food because the fancy shmancy iPad ordering system at the tables wasn't working was not a great first impression. It's pretty difficult to keep two children under control in a busy waiting area while trying to look at the menus, ask about dietary restrictions, etc. Had to pay before being seated too. At the table we were told that all we had to do was press a button on the iPad if we needed anything, but waitstaff was SO constantly at our table (overcompensating for the ordering debacle?) that we never looked at the iPads at all. Staff was nice. Food was good. Due to the fact that we had to pay for the order up front, each time someone wanted anything else at the table a new order had to be opened and paid for separately, so that made us not want to order anything else. They probably lost out on over $20 of drinks and desserts just based on that. Probably will stick to Bob's just down the road in the future.

My boyfriend and i each had a burger...his was so messy he couldnt pick it up...he had to ask for a fork, and my bun basically fell apart so I needed a fork as well. The waiter forgot that I ordered a drink...but I didnt say anything. The food wasnt bad just a little uncomfortable that we couldnt eat our burgers the traditional way.

I've been to several locations within the last couple of years and as much as I love Blazing Onion's food, I've been a little off put by the particular location in Marysville. On more than one instance I've been in with a group of friends and sat in the dining room. The staff seemed annoyed when we didn't order up front because we were still waiting on a few people and wanted our food to be delivered at the same time. They didn't know what was in drinks and seemed to think it was funny. My husband and I recently tried placing an order to go. We live about 5 minutes from the location and were told that our food would be ready in 15-20 minutes...not a problem. Then when we arrived about 20 minutes later, our food hadn't even been started and we had to wait at least an additional 15 minutes. This has happened both times we've ordered food to go, twice in two weeks. When we ordered salads a few nights ago, when we got home we found random chicken breasts in separate containers. As it turns out, the chicken was supposed to be in the salad but instead of being cut and mixed into the salad, it was whole and thrown into a separate cardboard container that we had to cut up ourselves at home. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting take out when you have to prep the food at home? On the other hand, we've had nothing but fantastic food and service when we go into the restaurant and eat in the bar. You don't have to pre order and can take your time to look at the menu. This will be what we do now anytime we eat at the Blazing Onion in Marysville. Food is delicious and drinks (when you know the ingredients) are delicious, but a little overpriced. That's why I gave a 3 star. Unfortunately a few bad experiences have left a bad taste in our mouth but because of it's convenient location to our house, we'll likely be back to the bar.

The service was downright horrible. I really dislike how you order your food right when you walk the front door. I need time to sit down and look over the menu. The server forgot my food and my group was finished when they finally brought it to me. I'm probably never coming back here again!!!

Love this place! Awesome sweet potatoes fries, fish tacos and of course the mocha mud pie! That's my meal all the time. I am, however going this Friday to try their chicken chipotle dish! Service is always friendly and they are very attentive both in the full service area and the service on demand area. Quality food, prices are reasonable. Can't wait for friday!

I actually loved this place, and it was my first time there. I didn't really understand the dining room/lounge issue, but just went to the bar lounge area and didn't have to prepay or anything. -- Our service was great, with a smile, and perfect timing. Waters quick, a coca cola machine cup quick, and since we got there at happy hour, we got a big onion chips appetizer for $4 in less than 5 minutes. I placed my order for burgers and fries, and had it in less than 10, with water refills immediately. Then, when I needed a fork, I looked up, gave a confused look in no particular direction, and an assistant manager came out of nowhere asking if I needed anything. In a few seconds, I had forks and more napkins! -- I ordered the Thai burger, my husband got the meatloaf burger (trying new things). While I enjoyed my burger, good portion size, there was no taste. Not spicy, not sweet, and the peanut flavor was faint. This could be because of the ketchup and fries I was pounding before I dove in, but I think it was just the creamy peanut sauce. Just bland... Still, I'm coming back for more appetizers at happy hour. 3, 4, and $5 deals...

I've had better service at the taco Bell drive thru. Very disorganized, service was shoddy and food orders were screwed up. Chicken wings were pink inside and special orders were not followed. Made us wait to order before we were seated, then when we were ready there was no table ready for us and we had to wait another 15 min. Don't recommend going here. Medeocre at best.

  • Charlie M.

Sit by the door with a line of people coming in and out so you can order before you get seated? Fuck that, if that's what I want I'll hit a fast food joint. You call yourself a restaurant? Act like one.

    (1)
  • Phillip C.

Not a bad place to eat, but it isn't a traditional restaurant where they come to your table and place an order. You have to place your order at the front when you come. Otherwise, this is pretty comparable to a Red Robin. The atmosphere is nice and the food is good. They also have bottomless fries. Overall it's a good place to eat.

    (4)
  • Ginger A.

The food is good and the people are nice, but the seating/service style is difficult in groups and with kids. This seems like a great place for families despite this and they have a really tasty veggie burger, and it says they make their own patties for it. They need to get those table order devices working. They have had them since they opened but I don't now whatever happened to that plan.

Foods ok. but you have to order before sitting. makes no since, so i eat in the bar. ordered a bloody marry off of the happy hour menu and got charged $9 for it. you pay for the drink separate from the bloody marry mix. they didnt tell me that after me and a friend had 3 each. our food came to us wrong 3 times!! and after eating we talked to manager and he didnt do anything about it. terrible management in customer service. never going back there and i live 2 mins from it. i go to the Ram now, they fix any problem i have and never charge me if somethings wrong.

I like the blazing onion. They are usually very accommodating and have a sandwich that I can alter to my likings. you can get your refills quickly and easily. Staff is usually very attentive. A great casual place to watch a game with the kids and get something to eat.

We have been to this BOB several times now and the service is always friendly, fast and accurate. We always eat in the bar, for sure do not like the order at the door system they have for the main restaurant. We have tried a number of different things and really have been pleased with the taste and quality. The food is similar in standard to a Red Robin, but so far the service has been SO MUCH BETTER.

so walk in and have order off the wall menu which cannot see? then ask whats wrong well i cant read your stupid menu as we want to sit down have coffee look at menu oh oh no you have to sit here and order oh well thanks for wasting our family time and you just lost over 100 bucks from me ? what an idiot concept and never be back in fact any of my friends ask you ever been ya they stick you in lobby no table have to read off 1970,s type board sort of buzz inn style which always sucked and well lost thousands now since idiotic order system,,,,,,food well never got that far simply wanted table and menu cannlt comment on food but service sucked bigtime,,, dont go here unless you like sitting in lobby trying to read off lil board,,,,,, we walk out never be back terrible place!

We've had inconsistent experiences at Blazing Onion. The only reason we continue to go is because of the quality of food served. The service is pretty bad, especially if you're not sitting in the bar. I understand the 'cafeteria style' service but the directions on the table are inconsistent with what the wait-staff tell us. We had a party of 10 people sitting outside in the 'serve yourself' section last night...we ordered & paid for food twice (since we wanted dessert), we got our own drinks, we had to get up and ask two different servers for silverware and for missing items from orders, got attitude from one of the servers, and had a pretty frustrating experience overall.

I met my friend for lunch as we both enjoy the Blazing Onion in Snohomish. I had the flatbread pizza-it came with a big black hair on it. How the person cooking or serving could not have seen it is beyond me. Disgusting !! The server or the manager didn't seem to really care. They did make me another one for which I had to wait a long time to get. My friend had long finished her lunch .We both felt they should have offered money off my bill or given a gift coupon for another visit. I won't go back !!!! I would like to add an update as of 12/5/2013. The CEO emailed me to apologize for how the experience above was handled. He agreed it was not taken care of according to the Blazing Onion standards. He had the restaurant manager send us a gift card. I very much! appreciate his care and concern to the diners experience. I think that deserves a 5 star rating. We so enjoy the Snohomish location and look forward to going to the Marysville location again. If the experience is great then I will leave the 5 stars if not then will change my rating but for now 5 stars 5/13/2014 I have changed my 5 stars back to two. I love love Snohomish Blazing Onion but this location just can't seem to get it right every time I meet my friend for lunch. Poor slow service-the food is just okay & get our bills wrong. We sit in the bar & wait forever to be waited on, for our food & service etc. We go when it's not busy so not like they are swamped. Will stay with Snohomish & go elsewhere for lunch when in Marysville.

We stumbled upon this place on pre-opening night. There was a lot of staff wandering around learning what to do. They didn't have their systems completely set up yet, so we had to order at the front kiosk instead of at our tables, the manager mentioned that they are setting up a system where you order on iPads, but its not ready yet. -- could be cool. This place has some potential but its idea was not clear to me. It wasn't quite a sports bar, it wasn't quite a family place. Hopefully they can get their stuff together soon and maybe we'll stop by again in a few months next time we are at the outlet malls.

This is a really nice place to grab some food, enjoy the many flat screen's hanging up around the place. The wait staff was efficient and polite. The food was well prepared and tasty. This location might not be the closest to me, but the staff and the atmosphere will bring me back.

This place is pretty great! We always head straight to the bar to get a table without a wait and avoid kids in the main seating area. Large menu and both of the veggie burgers are fantastic, as are their fries and onion rings. Great drinks -- the only sub-par one I've had was a Bloody Mary, but that was a Sunday morning and we usually stop by in the evenings. Good beers on tap. The portions tend to be on the large side -- I don't think my husband or I have ever completely finished a plate here. More than adequate. I'm not quite sure what the other reviewers who complained expect, but I have to imagine they're the typical American who wants to gorge themselves every time they go out to eat. And, they always play good classic rock in the bar.

I was not impressed. I had heard good things about Blazing Onion, and how I just "HAVE to go there". Last night was my first time, and it was awkward. No one explained to us how to order or where to sit. So we went and sat in the restaurant and took a menu to our seat. We pressed the button once we were ready to order, and sat there for about 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. Finally the manager came over and asked how everything was going. Then he proceeded to explain to us that we were to order when we first walk in, OR we could go sit in the full service lounge. Irritated, and now hangry we sent and sat in the lounge, for full service. The food was okay, I have had better. But the whole thing was overwhelming, and we felt like idiots. They lack communication to the customers. Now that I know how it works, it won't be as awkward. But still then, I don't know if Blazing onion would be my choice to go again, but would go with friends if it was decided on.

It was ok. Food came lightning fast, maybe too fast. When I go to a restaurant, I like the whole experience, being waited on, checked on, having pleasant conversation etc. I felt rushed. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and again, it was ok. Nothing spectacular.

This is like a Red Robin, bit in my opinion, fresher and less "packaged" tasting. The atmosphere is like any other large burger restaurant, the staff friendly. We've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. The turkey burger patty and their bean patty are VERY good - the vegetarian patty is homemade and VERY good. I eat meat, but still sometimes order this on a burger, it's so good. The Anaheim Pepper burger, Blues burger and California Bacon burger are some of my favorites. I'll also recommend (for anyone not in the mood for a burger) the Southwest Chicken Salad, the Toasted Sesame Chicken Salad, the Roasted Veggie Flatbread Pizza, and the Garlic Fries. The Garlic Fries are not the best I've had, but as for locally, they are good! Some other happy thoughts: The buns for their burgers are superior. Their Bob sauce, as simple as it is? Yummy. And of course, that huge drink machine where you can mix all the pop you want - always a plus with the kids. Their onion rings are pretty tasty too. Okay, now a major con for me: The kids menu. My kids just don't like the food on it. The Itty Bitty Cheese burgers and the chicken strips are probably the best. The mac and cheese, despite being homemade, was tasteless. The fish is a nice addition to the menu (love that!) but my son, who likes deep fried fish, said it didn't taste good. Maybe it was just a fluke. My oldest son now orders an adult burger because he doesn't like the kids menu...not a biggie.

Blazing Onion Marysville is conveniently located just off the I-5 corridor. Parking is plentiful. The restaurant has a spacious lounge, our preferred seating area. The lounge is full service. Admittedly the lounge appears to be busier than management anticipated on certain week nights, making it challenging for the employees to provide as prompt service. No fault of there's; I can tell it's a scheduling issue. That said the lounge staff have always been courteous, prompt as possible, and contribute toward an all around good dining experience. Our orders have always been accurate. Be sure to "like" blazing onion on Facebook, as they have BOGO specials. Those evenings are an incredible deal, especially when you use the happy hour menu, thus also saving on certain drinks. The burger selection is appreciated. One of the burgers replicates fair burgers. Greasy yes, but importantly tasty. In addition to burger topping/style options, Blazing Onion offers plenty of side selections. I prefer the sweet potato fries. Overall this is a go to eatery for burgers, and weekday happy hour.

We love the food here. Burgers are cooked perfectly and the tap system keeps the beer super cold. The bartender, Joel, is great. Friendly without hovering. Never had a bad meal here.....

Nice place for happy hour. Small women's restroom shared with happy hour folks that have had a little too much? Didn't care for that, hence the 2 stars instead of 3. Not many folks there to eat as we were, but happy hour folks were enjoying themselves. Food is as good as at their noisy Lynnwood locale. This is a nicer ambience for happy hour folks who like a quieter setting.

Being from out of town, curb appeal caught our attention to this place for a late lunch. was doing some near by shopping so why not. Okay I understand some the reviews in regards to the order at first then sit down. Its McDonald's type of ordering but at a nicer place. we fell for that as well.......Fudruckers burgers has the same type of ordering system I think the bar and TVs threw me off. staff seemed nice food was good, small problem hair on the hot dog, waitress took care of it right away, new dog came out in a few minutes all good. food was tasty. for the kids they have this soda machine that you can mix something like 50 or more soda combinations....kids love that and I must admit so did I. over all the our experience was good. hair on dog not good but we did score a dessert out of it...huge slice of chocolate cake...its good.

I really like the food at Blazing Onion. As far as taste goes, it's very good. I only give it 3 stars though because, for the size of the portions, plus the mediocre service, and the concept in general (I would rather order from a menu that I'm holding at my table, than from a menu posted on the wall like a fast food place.), the prices are a couple dollars more per entree than I think they really should be. That being said, they do have a large menu, and a killer dessert menu. Will I go here again? Yes. But probably only with a coupon.

This is the best burger joint that I have ever eaten at. I wish that they had this establishment in Oregon. When ever we make the trip up to Washington we make it one of our stops. The burgers are large and juicy and always full of flavor. They have it all from Bison to Wild Bore meat. They have sweet potato fries to regular fries. The ambience of the establishment makes it relaxed and fun. I will definitely spread the word on this place.

We went here and didn't sit in the bar for the first time. Never again! Service sucks and the food was bad. We have always gotten great Service in the bar and the food has always been great. This visit was Horable. If you can, sit in the bar.

Excellent burgers! The ambiance is a family-oriented sports bar. The waitresses are super friendly and polite. They have 2 of the Coke Freestyle drink machines and they're self-serve, of course. There are iPads at every table but they don't seem to use them since you place and pay for your order before being seated. Definitely a better burger than Red Robin if you were to compare but with about the same prices. I ordered the Wild Boar burger and tried my daughter's Big Kahana burger. They were sooo good! They offer Garlic fries (not on the menu) which are regular fries covered in what seemed to be garlic-parmesan cheese.

Would be a full 5 star review if you paid at the end like every other restaurant. Sitting in the bar gets you full service. Go figure. The ambiance of this place is great. Definitely plenty of TV's to catch the game. I wish you could turn the volume up at your table. If this place could properly execute the use of iPads at the table I'd be much happier and would give a five star rating. They have iPads placed at every table and you can browse through the menu and call a waiter/waitress. I'd like to be able to do everything from here which I think they are working on. Also if you could play games from the iPad it would be a fun touch. Now on to the food. I've never eaten a bad thing here. The Lamb Burger is juicy and delicious. The beef party's are meaty and the chicken breast is juicy. Everything tastes very fresh. They have a great selection of beer and spirits. Watch out for the Dangerous Dave. They cap you at two and that's fine because if you had 3 you might get alcohol poisoning. BOB sauce is a necessity for fries and onion rings. Side notes... They exclusively use all natural, 100% chuck beef, from Painted Hills which is a Northwest company that is part of the "never-ever" program meaning there are no hormones or antibiotics... ever... They use Draper Valley Farms chicken and Tillamook cheese. Using local ingredients seems to be a theme in the food and beer. I'm a fan of places that support local economy.

My husband and I have been eating at Blazing Onion since the one in Snohomish opened. We were so happy to have one open closer to us in Marysville! We've eaten at three different Blazing Onions now, all on a regular basis--in Snohomish, Lynnwood, and Marysville. The one in Marysville is usually less crowded than the other two, they have more room to walk around than the other two, and they have a neat concept with the unfortunately still not working iPad ordering system. We met the owners on opening night--they were both great people and good listeners. Many of the servers in the Marysville location now know us. One even gave us a dessert on the house last year because we are such good customers. My son always orders the mini cheeseburgers, my daughter orders the kids Mac & Cheese, and I switch between the Fish Taco's with breaded fish -- delish!, the Mediterranean Burger without the kalamata olives, and their big kahuna burger with a buffalo patty instead of beef. We also substitute regular fries for sweet potato fries, and have them bring a side of ranch for dipping. They are the best sweet potato fries we've had! Usually we will also order the onion petals as an appetizer. SOOOO good. The sauce is too spicy for the kids, but my husband loves it and I can handle small amounts of it. The dessert cakes feed at least 10 people--so rich! If you have a large party, go for it--you won't regret ordering it. I've had servers forget to bring me something at all three locations, but with as often as we eat at Blazing Onion, it's bound to happen. Another thing--we don't like having our kids watch some things, like boxing. They are always very nice about it and change the channel to something more kid friendly, like car racing. They also don't mind moving the iPads to a different table, away from the kids. Please don't let the reviews change your mind about trying it out for yourself. It is our favorite place to eat with the kids.

Big disappointment! Our family group of six went there for the first time for an early dinner on New Year's Eve. We were told that the iPads at the table weren't working so when they called our party we would pace our order at the host desk then someone would seat us. We were told it would be 20 minutes til we got a table but that turned into an hour. No tableware, no napkins, no water. Serve yourself sodas machines are right in the path to the restaurant proper. Gotta dodge people carrying paper soda cups before you find your chair. The food was so disappointing. All our French fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings were great for about 30 seconds, then they just got soggy. Nothing crispy here. My niece's burger order was wrong and when they brought the right sandwich it was with the wrong side. My angus burger dip was pretty sad. The meat patty was a 1/4", overdone mess with cold, slightly burned onions. We were really hoping to like this place but the entire experience was a real let down. I gave them two stars only because the wait staff was working so hard. There are much better places to spend your money on a burger.

I chose this place for my birthday dinner because I tried the one in Snohomish a couple months ago and really liked it. We were a party of 5 and asked to be seated in the lounge so we could have table service. Our server, Rachel, was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our orders were: Mac & cheese with pulled pork (DELICIOUS!), fried fish & chips (fish was pretty greasy, but good), teriyaki chicken burger (good & juicy!), buffalo burger (really tasty!), bacon cheeseburger (really GOOD bacon!). Prices are reasonable and this location is in a good spot. I highly recommend trying this place. I will be returning to try that lamb burger, among other menu items.

My family and I have been regular customers here for about a year. I generally enjoy the food, but tonight was an exception. I asked for my burger medium rare, and it was well done, dry, and tasteless. The bun tasted stale, like it had been sitting out for ages. The fries were tasty, but our initial orders had so few fries we almost couldn't find them. We did get more, but there should have at least been a full portion with the initial order. We ordered a dessert to share, and then waited, and waited, and waited. Finally we saw the waiter who had taken our order across the restaurant, and when he noticed us looking at him, he ran to the back and got our dessert. I don't know if he forgot to put in the initial order or what. Disappointing all around, at least on this visit.

This Blazing Onion is nothing like the others. This is more of a loud sports bar. We were unable to hold a conversation across the table because the noise level was so high. The music is very loud and yet you can barely discern what is playing. The ipad ordering system wasn't yet working, but it is how you summon your server. It didn't work for us. We got ignored when we summoned our server. The food: They serve it on small rectangular plates. This allows them to keep portion sizes quite small. Burgers of course are still the same size, but you will get far fewer fries. Not a big deal if you get regular fries, but if you get a different side expect to be disappointed. I got the hot wings. For $9 I got 8 very small wings and a few pieces of warm celery. I asked for blue cheese dip and was told I had it. I didn't. I had to flag someone down and ask again. The one positive thing I can say is that they have two of the Coke Freestyle machines so there isn't the long line you get at the Snohomish location. Still, I'd much prefer to eat in Snohomish and just skip the drink. This location is just too loud and chaotic for me. I want to sit and relax when I go out to eat, this place made me feel frenzied and overstimulated.

I usually do not have high expectations with any restaurant that feels like a chain operation. This place proved me wrong. Service was prompt, burgers was good, albeit a little dry (reason for the 3) and the beer was cold. I'd say it is like Red Robin with better food.

Come here!! Best burgers around.. I usually get the turkey burger, which can easily compete with any beef burger and win most times. Yesterday however I chose the Rancho-something or other burger and It was superb! It had fried egg and bacon on it, nuff said.. Ive been to the marysville location about a dozen times and have never had a bad experience. Enjoy!

I love, love, love this restaurant and the new location is even better than the rest. The food is absolutely delicious, service is good and they have convenient ipads on the tables for ordering. Love it.

Food was decent, not great. Certainly not worth the price. You can get the same quality and better service at Red Robin. My order came out missing toppings, waitress dropped my fork and some fries on the floor, no new fork. Got a waiter to come over told him about the toppings and he actually asked, "Want me to fix that?" Well duh... So loud inside it is hard to talk at all. Tables are very cramped, two adults will bump elbows if they are sitting on the same side of the table.

I tried to give "0" stars but they wouldn't let me. I rate your Store a big ZERO! Why? The Marysville servers SUCK!!! We walked in and were greeted warmly, were seated promptly and we thought "What a nice place", then things started to go awry. First we got our Fish & chips, which were really good but we needed more tartar sauce so we figured no big deal, we flipped our red service sign over waited over 10 minutes and watched several waiters/waitresses passing our table not even looking. We realized that they were not going to service us...30 Seconds my A**!!! I had to literally had to pick up the RED service sign and wave it and still several passed by! finally one of them stopped and we got more tartar sauce. Good so far?? When we finished our meals we decided that we would like dessert. We used the ipad to call a waiter/waitress to come to our table and also displayed the RED SERVICE SIGN. After another long wait no one showed up so we got up and left without any dessert. We looked in the bar and there was a couple of the staff in there BS'ing with the customers and not taking care of the dining room customers, we also couldn't find any of the other staff, not even a manager! We now feel like we do not matter as customers in this restaurant and because of this treatment we will never be back! I hope you get some kind of feedback going, so that people can either praise or complain. Currently I see a, "We don't care because we don't have to attitude among the staff". Also if their "BAD" treatment of customers continues you won't have customers very much longer. We spent $35.00 in here and could have easily spent another $10.00+ if treated better. As it stands Your Marysville store will never get our business ever again!! Lets see $45* 30 visits of 2 customers for return business-you are losing a large chunk of change!!! You figure it out! I would rather go to a place that wants my business and treats me accordingly than a place that has good food and I am snubbed!!! This is not a "Entitlement issue". We just wanted to be treated like customers and not like "Chattel". BYE BYE Marysville location!!! Date: Sept. 07/2013 Time: 12:57 PM Check# 9427 Table: 891/1 Various non-servers Also if your bad treatment of customers continues you won't have customers very long. We are your bread and butter...!!! BYE BYE Marysville location!!! Date: Sept. 07/2013 Time: 12:57 PM Check# 9427 Table: 891/1 Various non-servers Also no corporate/franchise feedback/contact us area anywhere on the website...EXTREMELY POOR!!! NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GO!!!

Place sucks! Girl at front door has no clue if there are tables open or not, can't get a drink at the bar. Staff rude and unfriendly. Won't ever be going back here again nor my friends. But with their attitude I'm sure they don't care.

Service was fast and friendly on a busy Friday night, sounds like they have worked out the opening day service challenges mentioned in earlier posts. Pushed the call button and we had 2 servers at the table stat. Great burger selection, we especially enjoyed the lamb burger and the meatloaf burger. Well be back for sure.

I love Blazing Onion Burger. USUALLY, they make some of the best turkey burgers but this location is off my list. The staff was rude and disorganized. Our waitress was condescending and inappropriate. We both ordered a soda and when my boyfriend switched to beer they left the soda glass next to him so every 2 minutes someone came over to ask if he wanted a refill. When he said no, they didn't take the glass away. Finally one of the staff actually said "I'm just going to refill it because if it sits empty people are just going to keep bothering you." in a rude tone. Okay.....? After that, our actual waitress came by and made a rude comment about how because my burger order was so detailed she didn't get a chance to take my boyfriend's beer order, sorry. When our burgers came, mine was wrong. I had seen her write it down and usually I wouldn't send it back, but since they are a newly opened location I thought maybe I should so they could see where they need improvements. The waitress took it back and came back to the table and said "Since the aioli didn't touch the burger, they're just going to switch buns and leave everything else the same." I felt this was highly inappropriate. What if I had an allergy or something? Also, I would prefer not to know when my burger is being manhandled in the kitchen. Just bring it back and don't say anything about that! When my burger finally returned, it was still wrong. I ate it anyway. When our waitress finally brought the check after running the card, she went in to this long explanation about which copy to sign and leave and which to take with us, as if we had never signed a bill before. It was truly bizarre. I was really bummed this location wasn't better! I liked the set-up more than other locations I've been to but overall my experience there kind of ruined my day. I felt uncomfortable the whole time, as if I were under a microscope. It was overstaffed and not busy which made dining awkward. Maybe it will get better with time? I hope so.

We went here on the pre opening night. They were not officially open, so of course everything was not as organised as an established restaurant. Considering this was a practice night, though, they were actually doing very well. The servers seemed to be fairly well trained already. The IPad ordering system was not up and running yet, so ordering was done at the front desk. Noise level was not bad. I am not sure what the bar is like as we sat at a table near the front. They were reasonably busy but not slammed. I had the California Bacon Burger and added onion straws to it. The bacon was done perfectly, and the burger was very good. The fries were hot and had just the right amount of crispiness. They are all you can eat, and I was offered more multiple times. My wife had the Meatloaf Burger, and my daughter had the Anaheim Pepper Burger. The Anaheim Pepper Burger is my usual order at the Alderwood or Mill Creek location. I think it is one of the best they have. They roast the peppers daily. One thing that sets Blazing Onion apart from other burger places is the buns. They use some of the best bread around. They also have unusual meats like boar and buffalo. Overall this was a very good experience. I think they will be a good addition to the restaurant selection in this area. Bobs Burgers and Brew is not bad, but Blazing Onion is far better.

What a joke. Nice iPads on every table that don't work. Thanks for showing how great things could be if you could get your ship in order. If you haven't been in before. "Fast casual" means its like a McDonald's except they bring you your food after you wait in line and order up front. I could tell the employees weren't happy. Just hoping their shift will end soon... I see ads on Craigslist all the time for bartenders and bar servers which means what is normally the best job in a real restaurant isn't very good at this dressed up McDonald's. there is a Carl's jr next door that isn't pretending to be a real restaurant. Give them a shot. Burgers are just as good and your not paying for iPads that don't work and a fireplace that's outside. Last thing a fast food place needs is higher overhead. Good location. I hope a real restaurant takes there place :)

Service was fair, our waitress semmed like she would have prefered to be somewhere else. Food was delivered hot and tasted good. I had the cuban sanwich and I must say that it isnt close to the similar sandwich at the Ram. Sort of thin and basic. Nothing woong with the place as it is franchise food but nothing special about it either.

Not a fan of this place because it is so noisy. We stopped in to try it just after they opened and were not impressed. The food was okay but you literally can't hear yourself think. They had a variety but because the atmosphere was so uncomfortable we probably won't go back.

first time eating here. we decided to give it a try after good reviews by friends. we were not lead astray!! the service was great...front desk staff very helpful and accommodating. i had the cheese steak sandwich , my husband had the basic cheeseburger. both were delicious!! we even brought have of our lunches home. will definitely eat here again.

First time there and we won't be going back. Everyone's Food was okay but my order was wrong for the pastrami and it wasn't even good And portion for fries isn't much. Pricing was about average but not worth what we spent for the food not even being good. The service was nice but you serve yourself anyways with everything.

I had a patty melt it was good the fries were just okay they're only warm your service could have been better I still think red Robins is better. I'll give these guys another try when there open longer.

Very disappointing!!!! nice outside but treated like a 2nd class citizen when you get in. You have to order at the door like jack in the box and get your own drinks and refills. My husband and I ordered hamburgers no flavor for mine and his was a horrible mess that fell apart. We both got sick that night and felt the effects the day after. FOOD POISONING!!! My daughter and son even felt sick and she had chicken strips we all spend a lot of time in the bathroom the next day. My son spilled his pop and I could not get the attention of any of the 10 waiters wondering around we had to go the front to get any one to help. We will never go back again and I will tell everyone I see not to go there.

This was our first visit to any Blazing Onion. We were handed menus and told to have a seat in the front waiting area then place our order before being seated at a table. It's a big menu so this took some time which was made worse by the fact that their doors do not close when someone comes in so we were all very cold and trying to rush through choosing our meals. I asked the gal taking our order the difference between the veggie patty and the bean patty and she said she didn't know and left it at that. We were finally allowed to sit at a table and imagine our surprise at the detailed spiral bound menu with pictures and an IPad ordering system at our table. It would have been nice to choose from this much better menu and I had not been rushed due to being cold and uncomfortable I would have selected something different to eat. My husband used the Ipad so he could order a beer. No one came. Staff walking around here and there laughing with eachother, all in a great mood, while my hubbie's lips remained parched. We finally waved a young man from the bar down who happily brought us a beer. Food: My veggie pattie was very brittle and broke apart into little pieces then fell out of the bun into a messy pile of dry grains on my plate. Didn't see or taste any veggies in that veggie patty. The fries are nothing to write home about. My son is gluten sensitive so we were pleased they offered GF buns. He also has a beef allergy so the bison burger is a great thing to have on the menu. Other son loved his hot dog however he ordered fries with onion rings as his side and literally only five tiny onion rings were on his plate. Husband's burger and salad was just okay. Bob's burgers and service are far superior. Johnny's or Islanders in Stanwood has way better burgers and fries and you can actually be seated at a table while you're browsing the menu. Had I ordered a salad or flat bread pizza my opinion might be different but I'll probably not go back anytime soon to find out. Just a bad experience all around.

Came on pre opening night, not busy, very overstaffed. I had a Cuban sandwich, it was good - fries and onion rings were soggy and very salty. My husband had the fish tacos, he said the fish was flavorless and barely warm. My friend had a steak salad and said the steak was barely warm and the lettuce was warm also. Drinks were good and a great selection of beer on tap.
