There were 4 of us for dinner. 2 adults and 2 kids. I intially asked to have a small portion of Mac and Cheese to taste. A main course of Mac and Cheese is $10.00. I just wanted to taste it since this is a new restaurant in our neighborhood and wasn't sure if it was worth it or not, I did not think that this was a unreasonable request, after coming back to the table a couple of times to tell me that it was "being discussed by the manager, I said I don't want to be a problem and said forget it. Soon after that Nicholas showed up with a taste in a small bowl of Mac and Cheese. This was very accommodating and considerate of the staff and management. It was delicious. This is a small test that I have performed at new restaurants that have opened locally in our town. The Hook in Perrinville is one that comes to mind. Also Moonshine on 196th. The Black and Bleu burger was fantastic. the fried pickles were sublime but need a campfire or rosette sauce served with them instead of ranch.. the service was impeccable and our server was tipped accordingly. With all of the choices in the area this upscale burger joint is one I will be back too.

Great for breakfast! Most of our family weekends start here, and we so glad its close now rather than Bonny Lake or Issaquah. We have never had a bad meal at a Hop Jacks, and I Currently am loving the Eggs Benedict, so good! -- Update: You know how good a place is when everything is wrong. Breakfast meal: weight staff was unfamiliar with menu/new to the shift, took a long time to come get our order, food was slow to get to table, everything was cold, one dish was not cooked/or in the computer, one was sent back 2 times because it was not cooked properly, and the weight staff just could not come by with the coffee enough. However the staff kept their composer, and we were well taken care of. Other than the mistakes the food still tasted fantastic, and we went back the next day for breakfast again, this time everything was perfect.

Nice, new, cozy, great happy hour and food! The bar was nice (they had pretty cool ice glasses), wasn't super boring or fast food like in here! Our waitress was nice didn't rush us, she was attentive and had a great smile the entire time.

They advertise that their Patty Melt is one of the best you'll ever eat --- and it's true. Lots of grilled onions, a ton of swiss cheese, all melted on perfectly GRILLED rye bread. They must lather that bread with sooo much butter! (Sure it's greasy, AssHat -- that's the point isn't it??!) It's my new spot for hangover food and it's great even when you're sober as a judge. I've always had good service and they're not tight with the extra sides of condiments. (I like the horsey sauce they serve with the french dip on everything I eat there) Go. Get your Grease On!

The burger just wasn't well put together, tried some of their homemade potato chips and those were ok Service was great! I'd give that 5 stars alone. Could compare it to a chili's but just didn't taste right, I ate half of it and just paid the bill... Yelp usually does good when I'm trying new places but this one was kinda funky

I was hopeful that this might be a new go to spot, but unfortunately was disappointed. The service was great - super attentive. No complaints what so ever there, everyone we encountered was fantastic. The food was mediocre at best. We had 3 appetizers (tots, moz sticks and potato chip nachos). The portions were huge, but didn't taste good enough to warrant the big portion sizes. Plus, you consider what we ordered - those are pretty basic items - if those aren't good, I won't bother to venture out to the rest of the menu. Great service, blah food - I most likely won't be back.

Expensive, slow service, food was average! Spend your money elsewhere for a better meal!

I am wondering if Lynnwood is just lacking options, or can so many people have different ideas of what's good. One sign should tell you, all the other locations in Washington got poor reviews, except for this one. I'd rather go eat at QFC deli than this place. We ordered 3 entrées and one app. I'm the only person that finished my entrée, which I got the BBQ salad, how can you mess that up. My son got the big bbq burger. I am astonished how you can have Angus beef, bbq sauce, caramelized onions and bacon and still end up flavorless. How's that possible? The tots he got tasted like they had been sitting or for hours. My husband got the Mexican Mac. It was not a mac and cheese. It was tasted like a dry taco. Within 30 min of us eating, we all felt sick. Coincidence, I think not. I was excited to have a Red Robinesque place closer to us, but am salt disappointed.

I was really excited about this place but was disappointed with the ambiance and food. Ambiance wise, I get that it's a casual, family friendly, bar-food type place, but it felt more like a Denny's (perhaps it was the plastic laminated menus?) than, say, Gordon Biersch. We ordered cocktails (limited menu with a focus on super sweet and syrupy drinks, though I do like the ice glasses), and burgers, which were incredibly greasy and messy. I'm a burger gal and really couldn't handle the greasiness of this burger. Fries were OK. Service and pricing was very good. Perhaps my expectations were just too high. Not sure I will be back.

They brought back the Peanut Butter Burger for April. It's awesome! Don't let the title fool you. I had the macaroni and cheese. If you LOVE cheese with a capital L, capital O, capital V, and capital E, then you will love this mac n cheese. This is literally gobs and gobs of cheese melted throughout penne noodles, not just on top. I personally like a little spice to my mac n cheese (or anything that isn't ice cream) so I wished I had more flavors, but it was still great. Next time I will try the Fiesta Mac.

One night after an afternoon soccer game the family was completely famished and decided to have dinner at Hop Jack's. The restaurant came highly recommended by Mom who works close by and likes to occasionally partake in happy hour there. We were in the mood for a American food and this seemed to suffice. I was happy right away because like most American style restaurants there were multiple TVs viewable in the dining area and carrying local college football and baseball playoffs. But then I opened the menu. Hop Jack's has a typical selection of appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches. Where it differs, though, is in their incredible unique selections of maccaroni and cheese dishes. It felt like that shrimp scene in Forrest Gump. "Philly Steak mac & cheese, fiesta mac & cheese, Tuscan pesto mac & cheese, BBQ mac & cheese." I have never seen so many amazing varieties of this favorite dish. I went with the Kansas City BBQ mac and was not disappointed! It was delicious! Hop Jack's BBQ sauce is very good and this mac was smothered in both it and pulled pork. I devoured every single bite. I then also devoured the remains of my son's nachos which were some of the best I've ever had. Hop Jack's adds corn and other roasted Baja veggies to the traditional nacho fixings to really set theirs apart. One other thing that Hop Jack's has is a really cool drink where they serve it in a piece of ice inside your glass. This ice cylinder slowly melts away into a compartmentalized bottom of the glass. Really one of the coolest things I've ever seen and an amazing feeling to sip the drink out of a "ice glass." The feeling on your lips is perfect. This sets Hop Jack's apart and combined with the nachos and those mac and cheese options makes it a place that I'm anxious to visit again soon.

So after my horrible burger experience the other day, I needed a quality burger. I'd never heard of this place but it was rated pretty good. It comes off a bit "chainy" with the uniforms and in your face menus with pictures. I got the Western burger with a Caesar. The burger was so delicious! Caesar was okay. Good neighborhood spot with a decent happy hour and great beer selection. The Hop Jack's IPA was really good too. I'd come back!

First time here and everybody was so friendly. Vanessa was our server and she was great! Very friendly and always made sure our drinks were filled. My boyfriend had the jalepeno burger with pineapple and he said it was one of the best burgers he's had in Washington. I originally came and just wanted to see what's on the menu even though I was craving asian food but happy they persuaded us to stay. I'm about 2 months late on this review but had to say something about this amazing restaurant!

I have to say that our stop here was just out of the blue. Saw a burger place and we stopped in for a family meal. What we got was much more than that. A clean, casual atmosphere with a great food selection. I forgot to mention the beer and drinks were great. The thing that topped off the evening was the service, the service was perfect. I am not sure if all Hop Jack's are like this but if they are this is a winning combination. We look forward to coming back.

Love their food and drinks! Their staff is always kind and helpful. I was heading to a show with my aunts and grandma and we had less than an hour to eat, and of course being a Friday night they were packed but they heard us talking and had us in and out in less than an hour!

Not knowing it was a chain restaurant I had the bar set high. The place was clean, and the staff friendly. Simple breakfast menus, hot coffee, and cold water. GF ordered the French toast, over easy eggs, bacon & sausage, with a bowl of fruit. Everything spot on. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, over easy, and home style potatoes. Gravy was awesome, very tasty, biscuits were soft and soaked up gravy, not toasted. Eggs came scrambled, not fresh but from a box. Home style potatoes were also from a box, maybe from India as it was seasoned with paprika and cumin. I look forward to trying their hamburgers in the future.

It is a good place to take out kiddo, but sometimes the food tastes inconsistent. I love spicy food, but once in a while the buffalo sauce makes me see red.

This was my first visit after I heard great things about their drinks. We went in for lunch around noon. There were not many people eating as I see it's a fairly new restaurant. There were plenty of staff on hand and we were greeted by the manager and given extra service by waitresses not even serving our table. It is a fun place, great menu and family friendly. I had a hard time deciding on an entree because so many things sounded delicious. We waited a little while for our lemonades which were a little pricey (over 4$) but are refillable. I will probably return for another visit!

  • Jeannette F.

Ashley was great! Food was awesome! The kitchen seemed a little slow on delivering the before the meal salad :) the beer was good, I don't know if I could say it is colder than average but overall I was happy and I'd return again.

I have been looking for an awesome burger place, hop jacks has exceeded my burger expectations. Juicy yummy fall apart goodness, seasoned to perfection. My daughter loves the bottomless lemonades, I prefer one of the oh so yummy lemon drops served in a frozen cup. The first Tuesday of the month they have new tap Tuesday, they premier a local bear and have drawings, you order the beer they give you a raffle ticket. I highly recommend going for happy hour they have an assortment of small plates to try out the foods. On game days all the TV's in the entire place have games on. You can bring your children or sit in the bar.

(3.5 Stars) You had me at "A.C.". I'm somewhat kidding there, but it was very refreshing to come in out of the 95F parking lot. It is also refreshing to have a grown-ups place at that corner, and one that looks as attractive as this one. Great open dining floor, great division of space between bar and general seating, and a nice industrial looking bar that also goes a long way in hiding the service isle in front of the kitchen. Mmm - beeeer. Lots and lots of taps, a percentage of them Northwest Brewing house-labeled brews, and the rest all local offerings. Nice and frosty at that, making happy hour here my new favorite Tuesday afternoon activity. I haven't sampled enough off the menu to make a definitive judgement, but thus far it has been pretty solid sandwich/burger pub grub. A Guacamole burger was a bit heavy on the mayo and lite on the guac, but a that was quickly remedied by our very nice server. Well fried tots and a super fresh side salad that didn't look phoned in will have me back trying other things out quickly. Service was very friendly from all the staff that we encountered. There was an odd moment mid-meal when some guy (the manager?) came out from the back, straight to our table, asked us if all was well, asked the same to the table next to us, then darted back to the office (lots of other tables filled). Our server was also a bit quick to drop off the bill; my plate was half full & I was still clearly eating - apparently I had had enough and I was done. My only suggestion to management is to pull it back from having the host/hostess run out and hold the door open while chatting to people that are 30 feet away in the parking lot. I get that you want to attract people as you're new, but it sends the signal to seasoned diners that something is up with the place and you can't get the locals to come in on their own. Even though that exact part of the 99 corridor doesn't have a lot of other options, this is a solid choice with lots of parking. Get in before that New Store smell is gone!

Wonderful service! The food is delicious too, but everyone here is happy and nice and seems to enjoy work. Hopefully that's not just a result of being new and the great service sticks because we definitely will be back! We split an app and ordered different burgers. Everything was tasty. They had a great kid's menu but also a great drink menu, so I want to return sans kids to try all their drinks. A very nice addition to Lynnwood.

Had a great dinner with my 2 and 4 year old. Our waitress was super helpful, kind and sweet to my kids. Very attentative. I had the meatloaf dinner with their gator tots. OMG it was delicious! Their beer on tap is ICE cold. I think they had about 10 different beers on tap. The kids had the grilled cheese from the kids menu. It was nice having 3 different options for sides for them to choose from. Definitely recommend Hop Jacks and will be going back soon.

Hop jacks is a go to spot for my girlfriend and I. There's a server there that's friendly and attentive. Didn't catch his name but he remembered us from months back. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because I haven't had their food yet (except garlic tots) which all look pretty tasty. Always end up here after eating and just grabbing drinks. Next visit, I will order food and it'll probably go up a star or two...

I have dined here a number of times since opening. I have always gone with my husband and our toddler son, along with others and have had a great experience! The hummus is a favorite among my family and any drink I can get in their awesome iced glasses is always a perk! We've had several of their appetizers and have enjoyed them all. The staff has also been wonderful with my son and we love the outdoor seating as it allows for him to crawl around and play with the rocks! We are excited for this place and to give them our business!

Came to watch the Seahawks game and to check out Blazing Onion's competition. I've been a long time Blazin' fan but with all of their menu changes that removed my favorite items, price increases, and tiny frustrating plates, it was time to try something new. Beverages here are outstanding! Lemon Drop in an ice glass was awesome. Fresh fruit lemonades were delicious. Lots of unique, fresh drink choices to try on return visits. The BBQ chicken quesadilla appetizer was ample, tasty and nicely presented. Also enjoyed the tempura zucchini which were big spears of zucchini with a light, crispy batter. Might have to try the tempura shrimp next time. Shared a bratwurst burger on a pretzel bun that was on the Oktoberfest menu. It didn't wow us. Too much bread and we kind of expected a bratwurst sausage cut in half, not a sausage patty. Sausage casings keep the juices in. This patty was pretty dry. Other menu entrees look promising though! Service was good - yes, this place is full service. Aside from having to ask for more napkins, our server Ashlee was on it! Lots of TVs and a crowd in the bar to cheer on the Seahawks, made for an enjoyable first visit.

I really like Hop Jack's, but the quality has gone down as of late. They brought in more of their own beer. I used to love getting the coldest Blue Moon around and now you can't get one. I also liked the sliced steak in the steak salad. Now you get chopped bits. The bbq salad is still great and the other food is good too.

Disappointing how much the customer service has changed in just two months. Last two visits we have had the displeasure of very distracted and inconsistent servers. Not sure what exactly has changed, but "hurry up and wait" has been the theme for us, along with no eye contact, little patience, and the food has arrived cold both times. Drinks still made well and delicious; burgers still way good--but not a must go destination at this point...

This is now my favorite place to go! I'm amazed by the staff, they are fun, helpful, and quick. I still love that Steak Salad, I have a hard time trying other dishes cause this one is so good. That is why I bring other people with me so I can taste their choice. Go in there you won't be let down. Oh and that drink I love in the ice cup is called the Spiked Arnie!

This place is so considerate if you have allergies! We were there for a great burger and I asked to be sure there was no garlic-the cook came out and explained he cleaned the part of the grill he cooked the burger on & kept it away from all other meats, he didn't use their normal sauce & checked the seasoning they use on the fries. He said he just wanted to be sure I could eat with confidence. This is THE FIRST place to EVER do this for me and I can't tell you what a pleasure it's been to go back now 3 times. By the way, we both have had juicy hot yummy burgers & fries & he ordered Mac & cheese and it was good (I hear) too!!! Loving this place for the care they take with their food & allergies.

Great staff but beer tastes watered down. The food is overpriced but tastes very good. You can tell the wait staff and cooks take pride in their bar. Clean and well organized. Just hard to swallow a $14 burger and fries with possibly watered beer.

I came here last week for lunch. I had been shopping at Trader Joes and needed to refuel before heading over to the mall. I was quickly seated and the waitress was very attentive. I ordered the Caprese Grilled Cheese sandwich, with a cup of the Tomato Basil soup. The sandwich wasn't as large as I was expecting, but it was really tasty. My only complaint was that there were several pesky flies that kept trying to land on me while I was trying to eat.

I didn't expect that much from this place when I got there. It was a very average feel restaurant with a menu that was okay but nothing too unique in my opinion. However, I loved the burgers here. They are very comparable to red robin. I am a burger person and personally find their burgers above average. Give one a try and you will be satisfied and full.

My first visit to Hop Jacks has been nice. It was during lunch time so service and food came promptly. The food was good, large menu. Friendly staff, good server and greeter. Clean modern bathrooms (only two stalls in the women's so maybe don't drink too many liquids if you're coming to watch a game). Would be a nice place to watch a sports game since bar is 1/3 of the restaurant. On the other hand the restaurant as a whole isn't very large so wait time on a regular evening might be a little longer.

Awful. Came here for dinner: slow service, raw steak, food was bland and although they try very hard, the food just doesn't cut it. Came here for breakfast: bland and tasteless. Presentation is also unappealing.

The Mac and Cheese is awesome and comes in several varieties. Can't speak to the hard drinks but like the real fruit used in the lemonades. Service has been very friendly both times our family has gone.

I had the Big BBQ burger. Holy Crap it was huge, I couldn't finish it. But it was one Tasty Burger! My first time there, and I liked it. Would Definitely go back. They have brews that are made especially for them, then they have a ton others on tap that are from the local area. Which is very cool!

We were pretty impressed. Stopped in early Friday night. Good beer selection, and they even had cider on tap (although I would have preferred a different type...the Seattle Cider selection is a bit dry). I got fish & chips and my husband got boneless wings and street tacos (happy hour specials). The beer & cider was well-priced (under $5), but the food seemed a tad expensive for happy hour for the portion size ($50 out the door for meals, 2 beers, and a cider). The fish & chips was very good, and included seasoned fries and cole slaw. Lots of selection and the service was good, although it wasn't too busy yet when we came in. Looking forward to coming back another time and trying more items.

Good food. Cool atmosphere. Hard to believe out of coors light on a Friday night . So went with house lager was good. But they also ran out of that? Stuck with a flat bud light. Service tapered off towards 10pm. Will have to try again I guess...

Well, so far nobody has gotten sick so I will give two stars instead of one. The space is nice, but the hostess was super annoying. She walked us to a table at a snails pace, like we were disabled or elderly. After waiting for 15 minutes the server came to take our drink orders, we ordered water and a grapefruit ice drop. She came back with one water. Then ten minutes later with the drink. We asked for another water and that took another ten minutes. The drink was tasty but had no discernible alcohol in it and the ice rim was loaded with sugar which made the drink cloyingly sweet. We ordered wings, which were ok. And Kyles special sandwich. Kyle must have low standards as the sandwich was a greasy mess. The accompanying salad had cheddar cheese(like something from the old country barfett) and won tons(huh?) and was served in an annoyingly shaped plastic bowl. I had a coupon so it wasn't a total loss but we definitely won't be back.

There just isn't many great restaurants in Lynnwood so when we saw Hop Jack's we had to try it out. We were greeted immediately when we walked in and got seated right away. Since this place is fairly new it wasn't overly crowded (I'm sure that will change once more people discover this place). Our waiter Nick was awesome, he let us know about the Happy Hour menus and was great about checking in regularly to make sure everything was ok. We ordered fish tacos, bacon burger, and Kyle's Damn Good Sandwich and they were all amazing! My daughter said the Kyle's Damn Good Sandwich was the best sandwich she has ever had and couldn't stop talking about it. We're not much for dessert but since everything was so good we thought we try the chocolate cake which did not disappoint. We're happy to see Hop Jack's in Lynnwood and would definitely come back again.

Yummy and fresh! The only thing that's frozen are the fries. And they have mini donuts served hot right out of the fryer. Great burgers. Great onion soup. I'm going to try breakfast next week........

Service is horrible! Just a tip to the employees here... Smile! First off, the female host that seated me and my bf was cold and unwelcoming. We waited almost 5 mins for our server. We received our food quickly, but still waited for our drinks, which was delivered to another table. They do not come to check on you after your food is delivered. You have to try to catch your server as they walk by if you need anything. Even then, they mean mug you and act like you are asking for too much. Everyone that works here seem angry. They are not attentive and could care less about customer service. I will not be back!

SO glad to have an alternative to Red Robin in the area. I have only eaten here once for lunch (unfortunately haven't tried any of their drinks yet... next time!) but was very pleased. Excellent, friendly service from every employee we encountered. I had a chicken Caesar salad that was good, but what really impressed me was the leftover mac & cheese from my daughter's kids meal. I expected them to bring her a bowl of Kraft like so many other places do, but nope. It was homemade and delicious and I scarfed it down. (It was a very generous portion, too, so she was happy to share). I can't wait to try the rest of the stuff on the menu. Will definitely be back!

Nice place, good service. The 3 star is only based on breakfast. The coffee was flavorless felt like I was drinking hot water. I love hash browns and they were extremely bland and burnt tasting. The country fried steak was mediocre. I'm looking forward to trying dinner here because it has a great atmosphere and I'm thinking the dinner will be better then breakfast and I will update my review

My wife and I went here on a Saturday evening, was greeted at the door by a server, and got a table with no wait time. The atmosphere was a typical sport bar type feel, lots of big screens playing college football, mixed with family dining. We got the chicken quesadilla for appetizer (very good). I got the Kansas City BBQ Mac & Cheese, and it was very delicious. My wife got the Santa Fe grilled cheese sandwich. We were both happy with our meals, big portions, took leftovers home. I highly recommend this place for anyone. I live close by so we'll be sure to visit again!

Newly opened...friend recommended...just had an early dinner there tonight. Great food, I recommend the BBQ Pork Flatbread. They have over a dozen beers on an ICE tap...coldest beer I have ever had. Save room for their homemade cinnamon sugar donuts. Great service...they have a nice happy hour (2-6) menu.

My husband and I decided to try this place out last night, and I'm so happy we did! We were immediately greeted by a friendly guy who let us pick where we wanted to sit (it wasn't too busy) and told us a little history about the place. He gave us great recommendations and helped us with our beer selections. I was torn between a burger and the BLT and A. I asked our waiter (Travis) which was better. He said the burgers there were awesome but both good choices. I'm a little picky about my bacon and asked him if it was crispy or fatty and he said, "Hold on a sec." He came back with a piece of bacon for me! I chose to go with the burger and added the bacon. :) The place was clean, the staff was friendly and personable, the food was delicious, and I even loved the music. It was like they were playing my iPod. My husband and I are picky about where we eat and are creatures of habit. I'm thrilled we found another place that was up to our standards and will be definitely adding it to our rotation of restaurants.

Burger was great but other items we tried weren't. Service started out great but a new server was assigned and it went downhill from there. She was difficult to track down and it wasn't very busy. She seemed more interested in hanging out with her colleagues than serving customers. We will probably give the place one more try before writing it off. It's definitely in a good location with lots of parking. The restaurant is well decorated and plenty of TVs to keep you in the action.

After wanting to try the new place, we finally did. After 30 mn of wait time, our order had been not turned in. We were compensated with a free appetizer. Then continued to wait, and wait. Finally got our order and three of them had something wrong with them. The French dip sauce was cold,my daughters sandwich didn't have the bacon and my grandson ordered fruit and got fries. No one came back to see if we needed anything else. After being there for over 2 hrs, we were done. They are overpriced and the service wasn't that great. The best part of the ordeal was the whole meal was comped. We will not be back!!

My third time there today. Went with my fiance and his daughter. Ordered a burger and fries, mac and cheese with pulled pork so we could split. Fries were cold and soggy told waiter he replaced them immediately then waiter came and told us they forgot to put pork in mac n cheese (we hadn't even had a bite) they replaced it, boxed mistake and took it off the bill! The food was delicious! Service was good but a bit overkill every time we would get into a conversation we were interrupted until the second we left table that was irritating, I appreciate the fact they wanted to make sure we were happy but let us enjoy each others company. Happy hour prices are great for wine! It is very loud as it fills up which was just as we were leaving almost impossible to hear one another. But we will be back for sure.

Tried dinner a few weeks ago and thought the long wait for food was based on a busy dining room. Breakfast this morning confirmed otherwise. Only a few tables had customers and we waited for over 35 minutes to receive food that was cold, had to ask for syrup and remind the server (and kitchen staff) that my husbands dish should have had breakfast meat on it. Won't be returning.

Love it! Great atmosphere! Best burger I have had since I don't know when. Great house made potato chips! Excellent drink selection! This place just made my favorite list! The only downside is the price. But, I tell ya; it is well worth it! A must try!

My daughter has a peanut allergy and they made sure nothing was cross contaminated. The manager personally brought over her meal and let us know that he made sure it didn't touch anything that would compromise her food. This was the first time this ever happened in a restaurant that we were extremely impressed!

I love Hopjacks! Great burgers, salads, sandwiches and cocktails served in little ice cups. I was excited to see Hopjacks move north as I have been to a few locations down south. I was surprised to see so few people in this new spot but I think most don't know what a true little gem this spot is. You need to come check it out!

Love the Cheesestix! Service is great; all the burgers we've tried so far have been excellent. As sides the chips are better than their fries and their onion rings are excellent. Anticipate a better than Red Robin menu and superior food. A tad more on the pricey side than Red Robin. Pepsi products (boo) however great lemonades.

I was impressed and pleasantly surprised. Server seemed new, made a few mistakes, but they made it right. The French dip was FANTASTIC, and what could be better than ICE glasses for the cocktails!

Their gummybear drinks are amazing! You even get a little cocktail shaker with a refill. I had their Mediterranean flatbread. I'm not a huge fan of goat cheese or sun dried tomatoes but on that flat bread it was delicious!

This is my new favorite place. This blows Red Robin, Burgerville, any place you can think of out of the water. The service was fast, friendly....The food was MASSIVE and SOOOO good. Best burger I've ever had-NO joke. Not to mention I ordered a Shirley Temple-Best I've ever had. I got the Western Burger with a side of salad and the salad was even delicious. I don't know how they do it. My husband said his bloody mary, his burger, and the onion rings were the best he had ever had as well and I think we may be hard to please. This place I will be going back to over and over again.

Nicely done restaurant. I have only been there once but I need to go back for both happy hour and to try other menu items. It's nice to have a great food place close to home. Easy to get to and lots of parking. Plenty of beer choices and so many food choices. Food and service was excellent. A little noisy because the walls are not insulated to quiet down the noise from people and dishes. Fun place to go with lots of people.

My boyfriend and I had a great lunch here while staying in Lynwood on vacation. Our server Christina was in training but she was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive and she recommended several things on the menu. I got a flavored lemonade and it was delicious. I like how you can change flavors with each refill. My favorite was the huckleberry! My boyfriend had chicken fingers, which he liked, and I had the fiesta mac, which was incredibly yummy. Overall a fun and relaxed atmosphere with great food. We'll definitely be coming back if we're in the area.

Finally! I feel like Lynnwood needed a place like this and we finally got it. I dined here for an evening with a couple lady friends on a monday night at 7pm. It was not very crowded when we arrived but when I had called earlier, they said it would be hard to get in if the seahawks were playing. I had the deluxe burger with a side salad. Nothing fancy. But on my goodness, my burger was amazing. You know it's a great burger when it's not dressed up and still impresses! Side salad was good. Nothing fancy but had lettuce, cheese, some crispy wonton wrapper things, carrots and tomatoes I think along with red onion. I tried their house Pale Ale and it was tasty. The IPA was hoppy but not with a lot to back it up so it wasn't very pleasing to me (I tried a sample). Next time I'll try the African Amber. My friend ordered the white gummy bear martini and it was served in an ice glass (yes a glass made out of ice) which was a new one for me. Very great presentation, delicious food and a nice atmosphere. It was also baby friendly so I will be returning and dragging my spouse and 1 year old along with for some tasty treats. Oh and I got an order of the bbq wings to go. DELICIOUS! I was impressed with the bbq flavor followed by a kick of spicy. very tasty.

Awesome new neighborhood place! I love the atmosphere and the staff seem excited and happy to be there - makes for a very pleasant place to be. I sat in the bar on their opening day and enjoyed the BBQ quesadilla and an amazing huckleberry lemon-drop - LOVE these drinks! They are served in a frozen glass and come in many flavors - all made with fresh fruit. I also loved the raspberry one, but I hear the grapefruit one is a favorite of many of their guests. The setting is very comfortable with a large bar section, a decent sized outdoor patio and then regular family dining area. It's bright and open but doesn't feel like a cafeteria. They have a few nice tv's (but not too many) and have plenty of parking so it's easy to get in. The staff were friendly, competent and seemed eager to make my visit special. I also watched them interact with other guests and was impressed with how they handled their business. This place is going to be a favorite - food, drinks, atmosphere - all terrific! Welcome to Lynnwood, H.J.'s!

I REALLY like Hop Jack's. It's. That. Good. I have never ordered the same thing twice...and I have never been disappointed. The only thing I hate is deciding what to order each time I arrive. I drool over things I've eaten in the past, and drool about the things I've never tried. Here are some of the things I've tried... 1. Nachos - $11.50 Beef (or chicken), tomatoes, jalapenos, olives, cheddar/pepper jack cheese. Served with salsa, sour cream, & guacamole. It's a big order, and most all of the chips have toppings! Delicious! 2. Spicy Chicken Grilled Cheese - $10.95 Chicken, cheddar/American cheeses, wing sauce, and bacon. I got the fries & ordered onion ring sauce (barbecue sauce w/mayo) to dip my fries in. Try it. You might like it! 3. Jalapeno Burger - $12.50 Cajun patty, Chipotle mayo, jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato. I ordered mine without tomatoes. This burger was spicy, and they did not skimp on the jalapenos!! And lastly, they have a full bar - and Happy Hour is served in the ENTIRE restaurant - So mom and dad? Bring the kids!! Need a cool down? Order one of their "drops" (it's a drink) **strawberry, lemon raspberry, huckleberry, mango, peach, grapefruit, pineapple** - these are made with real fruit and are served in a glass made of ice!! $8.95 and exquisite! Waitresses are attentive, they have a number of televisions to watch your favorite sporting event. Don't like what's on? Ask them to change the channel!! :)

Great food and great drinks, what more could you want? I've had the white gummi bear martini and they're awesome! The avocado chicken salad is great too. I've also had the meatloaf burger. Everyone that I've ever gone there with has loved it! The server Mike is a super good waiter. (and I don't say that just because we share a great name....thought it doesn't hurt :-)) Seriously, it's not always easy to get great service in restaurants and my girlfriend and I went to Hop Jack's a couple of days ago and he was our server and he was very attentive and friendly. And they have several TVs around the restaurant and bar area, so you can catch some of the Mariner game, or whatever other sport is on at the time. Try Hop Jack's out, you won't be disappointed.

There are a lot of good restaurants on the Edmonds-Lynnwood border. This is not one of them. My wife and I have driven by this for the past year, always thinking we should try it. So tonight we did. Waiter #1 comes by and tells us about the drink specials. Waiter #2 comes by and describes the menu. Waiter #3 comes by to further explain the menu and take our order and explain that waiters #1 and #2 were helping while she (waiter #3) was busy elsewhere. My wife's margarita was very good. My beer was very good. So far, so good. We each order a salad .... my wife orders the "regular" salad and I order the "large". (Mine was the Taco Salad). The salads arrive and my 'large' salad is in a huge bowl. So of course I'm not expecting the salad to fill the bowl, or even equal 1/2 the bowl. But when my wife and I compared the volume of salad in her 'regular' bowl and my 'huge' bowl, we would have had a hard time distinguishing between the serving size of each salad. I paid a $4 premium for that? Waiter #2 comes by the table with the obligatory "How is your meal?" and I casually tell her that the 'large' salad is not what I would consider large. I didn't want to press the issue, but I couldn't sit there and smile and tell her all was good. Her reply was to ask how she could make it better ... "... can I bring you some more lettuce?" Sure, if I had ordered the Bugs Bunny lettuce salad special. The moral of this story .... in this shopping mall/area, give the other restaurants your money .... Mod Pizza or Q'doba.

My family was busy this night so I came here by myself hoping they'd redeem themselves. I sat in the bar amongst the many dirty tables and wanted to order a beer. As I sit waiting for someone to come take my drink order I can see the constant parade of help walking by me. I keep thinking this one must be my server..... nope, maybe this one.....nope. Finally after 10 minutes or so I decide to pass on the whole experience and walk out. Never again....

Nice place. Will/would come back for fun or a special occasion with friends or something. But I just can't come here for the normal work lunch break anymore. The price for lunch with a soda, (not beer) was $15 ! Now add tax to that ! Then a tip ?? = O U C H. Not sure why a soda would be just under $3, but it was. I didn't even notice soda price when ordering, but saw my burger choice was $11.95 (that's $6 for the burger, and $6 for the fries !). Food was good, and service was good. My personal dislikes - I told them last time I came here (right after they opened) that there was way too much Red Robin style seasoning on the fries. W a y too much. Today, same thing. Actually ruined them for me. Bugged me that my previous complaint went unfounded. Atmosphere is a little gymnasium like and can be loud. I also don't like it when someone you have yet to meet brings your food to the table. What happened to my waitress ? Why are you bringing my food ? Now who gets my [small] tip ? The tip would have been bigger if my lunch and soda were not so much. A sad situation and loss for the quality staff. Too much fry seasoning, too much money.

I have seen a few Hop Jacks locations but ddin't know there was one in Lynnwood until last night. This would be such a great place to watch a game at. I had the spicy chicken grilled cheese with tots. Amazing. I also ordered the peach lemonade since they boasted about it on the menu. It was not as good as I would have hopped. They made it sound like it has actual peaches/peach juice in it. It was simply lemonade with peach syrup and a small slice of peace on top. For $4.50, nah, I won't order it again. We also ordered the mini doughnuts for dessert and they were so good. Service was a bit slow and kind of awkward. I can't wait to go back and try some more stuff.

Pretty much a chain restaurant. Idk if there are other Hop Jacks in Washington but defiantly offered a chain restaurant experience. Happy hour was a very good deal and the beer selection wasn't very impressive for an establishment that is branding themselves around hops. The bartender who served us was friendly and attentive but I witnessed several employees eating while they were working. This really grosses me out! And because they were sneaking to grab a bite between tasks they didn't find it necessary to wash their hands!! Absolutely filthy. Have some common sense...if you are putting food near your mouth or touching half eaten food then you have germs on your hands. Have some respect for your customers and properly wash your hands.

When I first walked in I thought, "Hmm... this looks like a local chain." A quick Google search pretty much confirms my suspicions. All locations in Washington. Not that this is bad... it just had the look. On the bar side of things, they serve various mixed drinks. I don't care so much about that. They also have beer, which I do care about. The beer selection includes some nice local microbrew choices, and four of their own "Hop Jacks" beers. Their beers are pretty good. Not worth making a pilgrimage here just to experience them, but not bad at all. The food is pretty good. Portion sizes are decent, so you won't go hungry, but depending on what you've ordered you probably won't have enough to take home and save for lunch, but that's OK. I got the Fiesta Mac & Cheese, and had plenty to take home. My table mates all ordered sandwiches and finished them there. Our server was efficient and very friendly. Not incredibly speedy but not slow either. I tried to order a sampler of their beer, but she was happy to provide free samples of all of their house brews. I went with the Porter.

The name on the building says it all, this is my neighborhood gathering place. One particularly rough day after work I stopped in for a quick appetizer and a drink to calm my brain. Bar staff was friendly, menu had a pretty wide variety of delicious sound food and I love the ice cocktails.Do yourself a favor and try one of the flavored long island iced teas, they are yummy. Food was pretty good. Nothing fantastic, but good and filling. I had some of the appetizers, the hummus, the tots and a buffalo quesdilla. All pretty great. I've had the chicken pesto mac and cheese and that was dry, but good. My family had burgers and they enjoyed it. It's nice to see new places popping up in Lynnwood, that center is shiny and new and I really love visiting.

Their service is second to none. Meagan, Drew, Mike, Kristen (probably spelling it wrong!) ice dealt with them all regularly and they're always so nice and cheerful. I've gone with friends casually and during my break and after work. All good experiences. Quesadilla is out of control, I've had almost all the salads because they're amazing. All the appetizers are on point as is the fish. Almost forgot! Get a drink when you go. Anything beer, specialty, whatever!

Came here for happy hour with some girls from work. Huckleberry Long Islands are delicious and I love the grapefruit is an option for their drops! And the fried pickles are a must-have. Lauren was our server and was so sweet, fun and attentive. She definitely took our dining experience from average to exceptional!

I'm usually really easy to please, but I had a really bad experience there. First, their clocks are slow, so 9pm Happy Hour didn't actually start until 9:08. My entire group ordered food and drinks, and one entire persons order was left off. That in itself isn't the worst thing, mistakes happen, but when we notified them, how they rectified the situation was not handled very well. It look another 20 minutes to get the missing food, which I don't think cooking up street taco's should take that long. It was also not a very busy night, there were probably 3 other tables going on in the bar at the same time as us. You would think a missed order would have higher priority and get out quicker. We didn't even get a "Sorry that took so long" when the food finally came. The other thing that was bad, was the mozzarella sticks. I ended up with 4 of the sticks not having any cheese in them, just a hollow crust. There wasn't even any cheese dripped outside of them onto the plate, it was just not there. Just not worth our time to go back.

Hop Jack's is a great family restaurant that is sure to please those of all ages. Its modern décor with a flair towards the modern-bar atmosphere makes it a great place to grab drinks after work or burgers with the family. Hop Jack's knows what it wants to be: a beer house, with great bar grub, and TV's to keep the sport fans happy. I have been to Hop Jack's several times in Spokane, so I was happy when I found one in Lynnwood. It was a cold, wet night so the restaurant was near empty. Out wait staff was quite friendly and very attentive. Hop Jack's was hosting a local brewer featuring several of its taps. If you ordered the guest brewer's beer, you were entered into a drawing; great idea, added some fun. Overall very pleasant. My only criticism is that the food was fine, not awesome. It was good, but predictable; of course that why you choose a chain restaurant.

Just ate at hop jacks for the first time 2 weeks ago and I must admit I was extremely impressed the food was good but it was the exceptional service from our waitress Darby that left me completely wowed by the end, she was friendly, attentive and seemed to love her job and her customers . I will definitely be back and will be requesting to sit in Darby's section again.

Bar on one side and dining on the other. I was surprised to see this kind of set up but I guess it's everywhere even in Brewery places where kids and pets are allowed. Anywho...I was dragged in here out of the blue and thought I'll try their cocktail drink since it was pretty warm out. The server suggested their "mango" lemon drop. It turned out to be delicious. When this drink came to me, there was ice molded in the glass and it stayed cold all the way through until I finished. I later on ordered their fish taco bcs I got hungry and it was just ok. Why? Bcs it was just a regular fried battered fish that was inserted between the taco shell with some veggies. What I noticed is that they also serve big breakfast. They have a good menu list. I thought I'd like that and will make me come back to try another time. Staff is friendly and asked me often how I was doin and just checked up on me quite often. I liked that. The food I had was just ok but mind you I didn't have high expectations to begin with. I wasn't super hungry, I was chill... Idk really if they have a specific specialty on their menu that ppl rave about. I'll find out next time. What I do know... It's a sports bar that serve burgers and sandwiches, salads, etc and a full bar. This place is a comfy place to hang out at and perhaps watch the big screen TV they have for sports. It's clean and have reasonable prices, offers a wide selection of beers, and cocktails. Nice, right? I'LL BE BACK HOP JACK'S!

Amazing time with my friend at Hop Jacks. We had a few drinks and an appetizer. Highly recommend the delicious apple Siberian mule, huckleberry drop, and peach mule. LOVE the ice glass it's served in. Will be back next time I'm in town....service was also very friendly

My family and I have been here a handful of times since they have opened. They have wonderful drinks, both boozy and not. My daughter loves the flavored lemonades which come in huge glasses and are refilled. I love the peachy arnold palmer drink that comes in one of their ice cups. So yummy! The food is good. Better than average. It's fresh and hot. The one thing that I didn't like yesterday when we had lunch was I had a Sante Fe grilled cheese and it was super greasy. I know it takes a good amount of butter to grill a sandwich well but this was ridiculous. Well grilled on the outside and a little cold in the middle. Sad because if there wouldn't have been so much butter on the outside they could have let it cook a little longer and it would have been awesome! Plus the salsa that was supposed to come with it for dipping didn't make it onto my plate. My husband loved his jalepeno cheese burger. It was cooked perfectly, had wonderful melty cheese, and a bunch of jalepenos, without being too many. We both had tater tots and they were good. Appropriately greasy. Our service was really slow. Our waitress did say they had been busy when we sat down. It didn't seem that busy though. I guess they were just seating too many tables for the number of waitstaff they had available. That is something that really frustrates me. So, good drinks, mostly good food, and consistently slow (but adequate) service. I'll still eat and drink here, just not when I'm super hungry or in a hurry!

Great addition to the Lynnwood area. I love their drops that come in an ice glass, I've had only the mango, and pineapple and they're awesome! Their white gummy bear martini rocks! My mom loves their Mansion Margarita and says it's one of the best she's had. She is a woman who loves her margaritas. Their food is decent. The tempura shrimp is good, and not like your standard tempura like you would get at a Japanese restaurant. Their burgers are okay, but the patty tends to fall apart, if I had to choose, I would prefer a Red Robin patty. Kudos to the friendly staff, and awesome folks that help cater to certain dietary restrictions! The place each time we've been has been busy but not crazy, and the noise level is good. You don't have to shout at your table mates. The prices are pretty fair as well.

Work in the Lynnwood area and usually go to Blazing Onion for my burger/ beer fix. From the reviews I decided to try Hop Jack's. They say they have the coldest beer, and they sure do since I couldn't even order the beer I wanted since their taps were frozen over. Substitutes were off too. I should have also just sat at the bar. Service was slow and stale at 430pm on week night. No one seemed enthusiastic and it must of been time for staff switch since most of the employees were yacking it up in the back. Also noticed someone in the kitchen smelling sauces. Hopefully it was to see what it was and not see if was spoiled. Burger was average and the fries were burnt . Will go back to the standard Blazing Onion or even Red Robin since their service and food was better.

This was my first visit and am impressed. I ordered the Hop Jack's Deluxe Burger which was unexpectedly huge and delicious. My partner ordered the Double Deluxe Burger which really hit the spot. I noticed they do not offer shakes to go with your burger or ice cream as a dessert which is not out of the ordinary considering it's a gathering place for cold beer and food. Overall service was good. Food was good. I will return again when I have a craving for good burgers and french fries.

I really, really like this place! I normally don't go to these kind of bars (classier than a dive sports bars), but I've been back here about three or four times in the last two months. The food is what keeps us coming back, as it is consistently delicious! We've been here for snacks + drinks, breakfast, and dinner. I wouldn't say their drinks are strong or super worth it, but they're fine. Their breakfast is SO good- We had a scramble and biscuits + gravy and both were damn near perfect. What I really like about this place is their burgers, though. I was craving an all-American type cheeseburger and this place delivered. The burger was substantial, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Awesome fries, too. If you're a beer drinker, they claim to have the coldest beers in all the land, and I would believe them. Their taps are covered in ice.

This place reminds me of an "adult" Red Robin, similar style with burgers, beer and unique cocktails, but without a ton of crap on the walls and screaming kids. The food here is good. I really liked their burgers good flavor and quality. They also have a few different styles of mac & cheese. My wife got the Philly style with steak, onions and peppers and she liked it though she did say it was pretty greasy (but it's mac & cheese so come on). I love that they cover their taps in ice, the beers come out really cold and they have a large selection on draft. My wife loves the cocktails in the glass made of ice and they bring you a shaker with the extra of your drink so you can refill your ice cup All in all a good bar/restaurant with really solid food and drinks

Plenty of parking in close at this new Lynnwood Crossroads area. What an improvement over the vacant lot! Fast seating in a large spacious area. Many TVs with sports on all of them. Typical sports bar noise. The diverse menu had some great sounding original burgers and I zeroed in on the black & blue burger. This juicy monstrosity was delivered fast and sided with some tasty fries. I opted for a dark beer from a ginormous selection. LeeAnn had a Mansion Margarita that she exclaimed was the ultimate top shelf with the right amount of lime and actually contained some tequila! Service was cheerful, attentive and helpful. Management verified customer satisfaction twice during our visit. Solid 4 star experience and would be 5 stars if the young children were not present and running around the restaurant and our table unattended! I am not a fan of family friendly in a drinking establishment. I thought there was a law about children in a bar?

Pretty chill atmosphere. Maybe because it's Sunday. The food is alright. I got a cup of clam chowder and it was pretty good (and clam chowder is one of my FAVORITE foods). I got the fish & chips and my bf got the Cajun chicken strips. The fish & chips is alright. Some of the strips had too much dough on it and I don't like that soft, gooey texture. The cole slaw that comes with it sucked. Barely any flavor. I can definitely make better cole slaw. My bf says he didn't like the Cajun chicken strips. The strips were just tossed in their buffalo wing sauce. I like how they gave you the option of getting tater tots (and other sides, I forgot what they were) instead of French fries. Kinda wish they just gave you the bottle of seasoning salt than dust the fries and tater tots with it. Overall, it was alright. The food remind me of Red Robin or Applebee's. I'm gonna try the cool martinis and beer next time.

Brand new joint in the Lynnwood Crossroads complex that we've been eagerly anticipating for a very long time! We were so excited when they announced they were now open. We got there on a Friday night, and were pleased to see they were seating people very quickly. We opted to sit outside, but were a bit disappointed to discover they didn't have patio umbrellas. But, since the sun was going down, we weren't too disappointed. I did notice, however, they now have patio umbrellas, so the out door dining experience will be epic! Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Our waitress was amazing with a great sense of humor. I was truly struck by the teamwork of all the waitstaff. Each and every person was helping out their co-workers, which made us as customers feel super important. So service was amazing - now lets get down to the important stuff - the food! I ordered a ham dip and added swiss cheese because ham and swiss are like peas and carrots! The sandwich was really good all by itself - the bread soft and fresh while the ham and Swiss had such great flavor. BUT, that was nuffin compared to the dip. It was Au Jus made with BBQ sauce. I am not sure if this was watered-down BBQ sauce or if it was au jus with a splash of BBQ, but it was A-to the May-to the Zing. Emphasis on the ZING! To top it off, there was a wonderful horseradish sauce that was super tasty and the perfect condiment. But the accompanying potato chips were just what the doctor ordered. Also, my son ordered the mango lemonade and said it was a drink from heaven. So, I would totally recommend Hop Jack's - we're going back again soon! Maybe I'll see ya there!

After reading the reviews, I had to try this place and of course try one of their delicious looking martinis that come in an ice cup. First, I'm not a burger eater but their burger menu was big and they let you choose beef Or turkey patty!!! I loved that! So I ordered the onion turkey burger and it was large and tasty with Caramelized onions, kind of tasted like an earthquake burger for those who knows what that is. Tater tots were good, mozzarella sticks were good and fresh (the waiter said it was fresh mozzarella sticks made every morning) and most importantly the gummy drop martini which won some bar tending contest was good, kind of sweet but definitely great served in an icy cup. The mushroom burger was also delicious with melting cheese and thick meatloaf like beef patty. Best of all, happy hour 2-6 and 9 to close every night in the bar AND dining room...woohoo...no more fighting for tables at crowded bars for HH. Our waiter was nice too and we were constantly checked up on by different people.

A mix of Red Robin, Claim Jumper and Buffalo Wild Wings but not special on its own. Great location, outdoor patio (with view of Aurora) and fairly good beer selection. Food was mediocre. Red robin has better burgers but lots of Mac n cheese options that looked good. Mostly burgers, sandwiches and Mac n cheese. Some appetizers, salads and fried fish dishes. They have a veggie burger but wouldn't say vegetarian friendly (especially if you don't want a burger). Party of 6 seated pretty quickly Friday after opening. Not good for large groups (have two areas where tables can push together for 8 and one booth for 6). Drinks are ok. Staff was pleasant and well intentioned. Food was quick. Beer selection was ok (pretty good but disappointing for a place with "hops" in the name. $5 wells, $8 drinks, $10-$13 entrees. Lynnwood does need this place though. Four stars for Lynnwood but three because it's like red robin. Breakfast on weekends including eggs Benedict and happy hour looks like $1 off. Ps B.G. Beat ya here!

I've driven past it for almost a year without stopping. I had to drop something off just around the corner and thought I'd give them a try. All I can say is I wish I hadn't been driving by all this time without stopping! The beer selection is fantastic. Almost all local beers, served icy cold (they tell you up front their beer is kept at 34 degrees). They do have some Ab-Inbev crap, but it's in such tiny print on the menu that you can tell they really prefer to sell the good, local stuff. Food was outstanding. I had the Cuban sandwich, and my wife had the French Dip. Both were excellent. Hers came with their house-made potato chips, and I got the tater tots. Anyplace that serves tots is a winner in my book! The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Service was quick, and we definitely got our money's worth. No more just driving past for me, this place is going to be one of my regular haunts!

We have been here half a dozen times. Great staff and food, we even received bad food on one visit but the service was so amazing we came back. We'll this trip, I am yelping in the restaurant! Sugared down drinks, a server that walks away mid sentence and cold food. Blah. So disappointed, such a fun place to go.

New to the area and decided to give this place a try. So far after 3 visits they have not let me down. The burgers are very fresh and always prepared correctly. The fries are fully cooked, crispy, and hot. If you aren't in the mood for burgers they have an extensive menu option including Mexican fare. I would recommend the street tacos with a mansion margarita! Also they were very welcoming to my husband's service dog! :)

If you want ice cold drinks, freshly prepared food, and wonderful service look no further. Lynnwood is the latest location of this establishment. My friends and I went on Friday night and the place was doing a good business. Even though they were busy all the employees seemed to be smiling and very attentive. I tried the White Gummy Bear Martini and I am in love. It was served in a glass made of Ice. It came with extra for me to pour myself. The food (we tried the burgers and French dip) was very tasty. The fries and tater tots were hot and crispy. This is probably my new go to place.

First time here. Husband had lunch here and wanted me to try it. The service was excellent from start to finish. Wendy was great as well as the other staff. The food was delicious from the deep fried pickles, bbq quesadilla to my mushroom burger, my husband had the chicken wrap which was delicious. I'll definitely make the drive again for good food and service.

My family and I have tried this place several times and been disappointed every visit. The food ranges from meh to inedible, and one evening I had to go find someone to serve our table. We waited for at least 10 minutes with no contact, no waters, nothing. When we finally ordered, I got the French Dip. It came in a pool of au jus, which had spilled out of the cup, and so that both halves of the sandwich were soggy wet to the point of falling apart. I decided to be a big girl and eat it anyway. My first bite contained a nickel-sized piece of gristle. Mmmm. That will be our last time at HopJacks, unfortunately. If you're looking for positives, the beer is cold, and the tile floor in the restroom is quite striking.

Decided at the last minute to try Hop Jacks. We've passed by many times, but never actually stopped believing it to be a straight up bar. Pleasantly happy to discover it's kid friendly! The food was good. We had the deluxe burger and the Buffalo chicken wrap. Both were tasty, you get alot of food l, but the price is more than fair. The appetizer was okay, I was not a fan of their hummus. The lemonade (free refills) were delicious. I love blueberry lemonade, that alone nearly won me over. The service staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. the restaurant is clean, well appointed. There is a bar area with a few tvs...so rest assured I'll be back for soccer and footalball! I hope more locals discover this place, what a great addition for lynnwood which has always been a little sparse in good places to dine!

I really like eating here. I've gone here several times over the year and always have a great experience. The food is excellent and we'll prepared. The atmosphere is nice. At times, unruly children can put a damper and what could have been a nice and mature evening. If the service staff makes a mistake they are always very quick and courteous to fix an issue. Good beer selection, you won't find many hard to find brews but the beers they have on hand are always great in my book. Great place to go whether it's with friends, family, or date night.

This location is a pretty great place. It's a relatively modern and classier than normal sports bar type. The happy hour is nice and there's a real modern feel to the location. The lights are a bit glaring and bright white and they were really distracting to the aesthetic. I've been to the location in Lacey, WA and that one definitely felt not only welcoming but more homey. I love the bottomless lemonades and how many flavors they have for those, it's always a nice treat to have. I've been consistently getting the buffalo wings here and I have to say they're only okay but some of the friends I brought had rave reviews for the potato chip nachos and the burgers! In general, the service is pretty good. I come pretty often and sometimes I get good service and a nice waitress/waiter and sometimes I don't. So it really just depends. I'll definitely be coming back but there are just some things that I wish were better. Obviously the lighting isn't really a plausible change, but the customer service is definitely something they can work on.

First off, I love places that offer happy hour throughout the whole restaurant!! I was lucky enough to arrive just before HH ended and was able to get some great deals. The chicken quesadilla is really delicious and the margaritas are darn tasty! My food & drinks came out very timely and the service was friendly. I will def be going back!
