Who DOESN'T love Chipotle?! Their burrito bowls are the best thing that has ever happened to fast food, and I also really appreciate the effort the company puts in to provide food with integrity. We should all be more thoughtful about what we put into our bodies! While the lines can be long, they move pretty fast. My go to meal is the burrito bowl, with fajita vegetables, and topped with guacamole. Avocados are expensive, I get the extra cost. If I'm buying for two, I'll also get some chips and salsa to share. I think this location could do a little better with cleaning tables in a timely manner, but then again they are always busy! If you're looking for a quick, delicious meal, I totally recommend chipotle!

Worst. Meal. Ever. I had a chicken bowl which had no flavor.. My bowl had nothing but black beans and it was covered in that black bean juice- nasty!!! My chip was so cold, I felt like I just pulled it out of the refrigerator ... And they charge $2 for guacamole ?!!! Seriously?!! Dont waste your precious lunch hour here. YUCK!

I've been wanting to try out the hype for the longest time now so when my cousin said she wanted to go, we were out the door FAST.The first time I went, the guy who made my burrito bowl overloaded me with a buncha stuff so I definitely got my money's worth but the second time, a different guy really skimped on everything. Still good but consistency is key! So was the hype worth it? I mean, I guesssssssss.

I have always liked Chipotle. But I hadn't been in quite some time, bc the Qdoba is a more convenient "quick mexican" fix for me. But recently I went to Chipotle for a quick/cheap bite whilst out shopping. I was impressed. Their prices have definitely won me over! I ordered a kids meal. They have these "Taco Kits" available... holy cow, BEST IDEA EVER! The taco kit comes with 2 tacos (hard or soft shell), 1 meat & 3 sides, as well as chips and a small drink.... for; GET THIS....... $4.50!!!! That is a bargain, my friends! It was a filling lunch, on the cheap! I believe I have found a new lunch place!

Poor customer service. Girl with tattoos over her arm never smiles, gives attitude and doesnt help people! I will never come back here again because of her! Food was ok. Kids menu so little in size.

I used to love chipotle but now every time I go there I am disappointed . There is always a huge line rude employees that do not follow the health and sanitation rules. I do not want to pay for food when I can clearly see the employee using the same spoon for beans that she used for the steak if I don't eat mean also she will clean the counter with her hand and have then use the same hand to add lettuce to my bowl . That's nasty . I will not go to chipotle anymore .

This is the worst Chipotle. They are always SO slow & cannot communicate with their kitchen. For instance, this last visit - there were only 5 people in line in front of me & my entire trip still lasted 25 minutes. I'm used to the busy, busy downtown or northgate locations in which there's probably 50 people in front of me & it still only takes about 15 minutes. I walked in and they were out of rice so the whole line stalled. By the time I got to the front they were out of beans & fajita veggies. As a vegetarian that's pretty much my whole burrito. The front staff person waited until they were out to ask for new ones. Then, the staff ignored me & the fresh food waiting to be put into the line while they chatted. Finally, I got to the front & waited for the cashier to come back instead of chatting with people in the waiting room area. After all of that, I took it home and it was about 3/4 of what I normally get at other Chipotle locations. Won't return.

Terrible online ordering quality control. We made a rather simple online order of four identical kids meals, with a fifth that was different. The four were correct, but the different one was missing half its order. We also ordered a burrito, salad with dressing, and chips and dip. They didn't include the dressing and chips and dip. To be fair, the burrito and salad (and four of the five kids meals) were correct. Do not trust them to fulfill the order correctly. You'd think they'd have someone check the order before they hand it off, but obviously their system is flawed.

They only get two stars because I love chipotle But this one. I won't be coming back to I'm from Cali and lived next to chipotle when they first opened and have been going sense then and have always loved it never had a problem in Cali. So this is my first chipotle experience in Washington and it was not good, the food was good But the staff skimped on the portions I had to ask for extra rice which is fine I didn't mind that but after eating me and my fiancé went back in to buy an extra bag of chips (because we love their chips) and then we got home there were literally like 10 chips in the bag.... Come on guys Super disappointing!

Who can write a bad Chipotle review. Awesome food. Friendly staff. Affordable prices. They don't give you crap about ordering a kids plate. I go here all the time. The only negative at all would be the awkward location and lack of parking at times

I wish Chipotle stayed small and continued to do what they do.. But alas with all restaurants or anything that gets big, the quality suffers a bit. I remember my first few trips to Chipotle, everything had flavor, freshness, something different. As time goes on Chipotle doesn't seem to be all its cracked up to be. Maybe as time goes on and quality supplies are hard to find you have to compromise. I'm not sure. I don't blame this Chipotle in general but the food was just ho hum. Service was great though. In and out and on your way.

I've eaten at this Chipotle several times over the last year with great experience. I ate at Chipotle yesterday and it was the worst experience. First, the somewhat short line took way too long to get through. It looked like the staff might have been short a person or two, so i didn't let it bother me. Secondly, I ordered a burrito bowl but was disappointed to see a significantly smaller portion of rice, beans and chicken than I was used to. I requested extra corn and additional toppings. The salsa was exceedingly sloppy and wet. I paid $2 for guacamole and was greeted with the same small portion. Overall a let down, especially for paying nearly $10 for a basic meal. I probably wont be going back.

  • William S.

We ordered take our online. The food was ready at the time we expected it to be ready and it was great. The chips with guacamole was perfect. The burritos, one a bowl and the other a regular tortilla wrapped, were sinfully good. Wee are going here more often.

Before today, I've never had an issue with Chipotle. Nor had my boyfriend. After today, I know we will never have a problem with it again, as we will never eat at another one. We ordered 3 steak burritos (2 with white rice and guacamole, 1 with brown rice and corn) and enjoyed having lunch with my mother yesterday. All last night and this morning, all three of us were sick. We paid (approximately) $10 a burrito, and were ill as a result. Not good. So, no more Chipotle for any of us. Ever.

  • Nick F.

Worst service ever! They had some group of 3 people cut in line in between me and my girlfriend and they never explained why. My burrito was half the size of my girlfriends and we ordered the same thing... It's usually an ok place to go...

  • Bored N.

This location is bad and getting worse. Servers do not bother to drain liquids from the vats of food, or even from the food itself, so the burrito bowl you ordered becomes burrito soup. The cashier then carelessly shoves the package into a paper bag, ensuring that it will leak all over the bag. No effort is made to make a well-proportioned combination of ingredients. Thus, today I had a veggie burrito bowl that was mostly corn and water, with a few black beans and a couple of pieces of red peppers tossed in there. Management is obviously completely checked out. It's not encouraging. Won't return.

    (2)
  • Phillip D.

Of all the Chipotles I've visited in various states this has been by the far the stingiest portion size I have seen. The servers were polite, the service was quick, but the portions were disappointing to say the least.

I have written a lot of reviews over Chipotle and they are all 4-5 stars. This location is no different. The food is just as good as you will find in any of their locations. What really makes this place stand out is how much food they give you! They have you 3 scoops of rice when most places give you 2! That being said, I will be coming here a lot more during my stay in Seattle.

  • Anthony J.

Food was good, portions really sucked. Buddy and I went for lunch on Thursday and got bowls with about half as much food as we're used to seeing at other locations. I'M SORRY, I THOUGHT THIS WAS AMERICA

Oh Chipotle, sometimes, the only thing that makes sense in my life is you. How I love your delicious grilled chicken burrito, and how sometimes I spice things up with a half and half mix with the organic sofritas tofu. The grilled veggie, the salsas... especially the corn (oh and the regular... oh and the green - ok so may be all of it) make my mouth water just thinking about it. I can have you every day if I could.... oh wait, yes I can, and yes I have. From farm to table, *love* from me to you.

This has been the worst experience in a Chipotle. My tortilla was falling apart. When I got home my bag broke do to the fact that my burrito broke apart. The lady who was doing my burrito made such a horrible job, she was very slappy very careless seemed like she was making dog good. She was more worried on making her meal than making my own. I even took pictures so everyone else would see this.

I have yet to dine in at this Chipotle (though I do eat Chipotle quite often), this review is for their catering service. We ordered catering service from this Chipotle. We had asked for pickup at 5:30pm. When we arrived, the cashier told us it would be about five minutes. Five minutes later, she came and told us that because they had two catering orders, they had been really busy and it would be a little longer before our order was ready. Because of this, she gave us a whole 25% off our entire order! After everything, the order was only about 20 minutes late. Had she told us nothing and just given us the order 20 minutes late, we would have just accepted it and gone on our way. The fact that she apologized and even gave us 25% off our bill (which amounted to over $70) was well above and beyond expectations. And this is all before we even ate the food. The catering package was amazing! Everything was well packed and every single little thing we would need was included, even a little matchbox for lighting the cans. All of our friends enjoyed the food (especially the sofritas). We highly recommended Chipotle catering to everyone. We are very happy with our Chipotle experience and will definitely order again. Love love love it!

Thanks to my experience at this location last night, it's safe to say I no longer plan to go to a Chipotle ever again. Chipotle used to be one of my favorite places to eat, a staple in my diet, in fact. Last night I entered this location to see a line to the door, no big deal, pretty standard stuff for a Chipotle, every other location I've been to handles that kind of line better than when there's nobody in line and I walk in. Instead I waited almost 30 minutes to order two simple burritos. We were informed there was a wait on chicken, no problem, we weren't getting any chicken. The problem was that anyone who DID want chicken was told to just take a step back so that any non-chicken customers could be served during the wait. This left tons of extra people in the order area and when it came time for my husband and I to order, we each had to repeat ourselves multiple times because the girls weren't listening to us and in the end, my husband ended up with pinto beans when he asked for black beans THREE times. Both of our burritos were left wide open while they waited for the salsa and cheese person to stop talking to the POS person so by the time we were able to eat, our food was lukewarm, and today, both my husband and myself are violently ill and consider it thanks to our food sitting out for too long. When I told the POS person about the black beans but that, after our thirty minute wait, we didn't have time to wait for his burrito to be re-made right, we were offered a side of black beans, no apology, no discount and no manager or business cards available when I asked for one so I could contact the manager. I was willing to forgive your recent raise in prices that brought my total to just under $16 with no drinks or sides but if this is the kind of service I should expect from Chipotle now that your prices have gone up, NO THANK YOU, it's time for me to move on.

My husband and I frequent Chipotle 3 or 4 times a week (trying to break that down to 2 BUT) and this location is great with the actual food. They have forgotten our chips the last two times we've gone, however. Also the last time we were there one of the guys was on major drugs. He kept shaking his head rapidly and talking to quick you couldn't understand him and he was gone SOO fast that he messed my burrito up TWICE. it had to be remade BOTH times; it was completely ridiculous.

The guy can not wrap a burrito to save his life. There was food every where the make the orders, it wasn't busy so I don't know why it wasn't spotless in there...I will not return to this location.

So, if you want a good, fast burrito, with an emphasis on tasty then Chipotle is your place. I love all the filling choices; meat, veggies and tofu are such great options. I chose the chicken burrito with brown rice, black beans, mild salsa and a dab of sour cream. Add a side of chips and mild salsa and the meal is awesomely complete. Let me talk about my burrito - it was stuffed to the max, and each bite was more tasty than the next. The meat is so amazingly marinated, the rice is a perfect compliment and the tortilla is nice and tender! The chips are amazing with a perfect zing of lime and just the right amount of salt -- this perfectly compliments the tomatoes in the mild salsa (more of a pico de gallo). The chips and salsa cost $1.75, and they give you a large bag that's enough for two or more to split. In addition, the guy who rang us through was so funny and friendly. He had such a great attitude that it made us feel good about spending our money. Yes, we will definitely come back!

Three stars because I love Chipotle in general. I'm reviewing based on this specific location only. I've been here a few times and everything I had ordered their chips, at least half the bag is stale! It's very disappointing :( Anyway, I will be coming back for the sake of their burrito bowls. I'll pass on the chips though.

LOVE Chipotle. HATE constantly finding hair in my food here. Just got a burrito. Just threw up the few bites I had because there was a very, very long brown hair in my teeth. Sick. Unfortunate.

The food was fine -- neither better nor worse than other Chipotles -- but the men's restroom was filthy. I could understand how a bathroom could be a bit dirty after the lunch rush, but this was different; it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. I won't go into the details, lest it kills your appetite, but it was enough for me to think, Gosh, I hope this doesn't reflect the cleanliness of their kitchen.

Love this place, but I've stayed away recently as I'm not sure about their weapons policy (they've asked that guns not be brought in, but they haven't banned them?). As I almost always conceal carry (yes I've had training but no I'm not active law enforcement), I'll respect their request that I don't bring a gun into the store. If there is a day I happen to not be carrying my firearm, I'd still eat here in a heartbeat.

People rave about Chipotle but my love for it isn't there. I prefer Taco Del Mar over it any day. The only reason I gave it two stars is because there was never a customer service issues, the restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms. It just wasn't my cup of tea unfortunately. Also, the portion sizes are small for the price...... That turned me off as well. So for that reason, I won't be back.

I like chipotle because its fast, will fill you up, its cheap, and the food doesn't make you feel terrible after eating it. In my mind, its much better than qdoba, baja fresh, and taco del mar. Top of its class among comparable burrito places. This place is popular, especially during the lunch rush. Try and beat the lines.

This chipotle is ran well all of the employees know there role and serve food efficiently. If you talk to them and show them some teeth they will hook u up with an extra scoop of whatever u like. The food is always fresh. I usually get a bowl cause I think u get more stuff that way.

I wish 0 stars was an option however the girl that rang us out probably is the only one in that location that deserves a star! By far the dirtiest location I have ever been to! There was food and dirty food warmers everywhere! I can look past that if the location is busy, lunch or dinner rush etc but no. This location needs either staff refresher training or an entirely new crew! The "burrito" we ordered was rolled so poorly that the cashier offered a bowl because she knew it would fall apart the second that foil comes off! I frequent chipotle all over the sound and I have never seen such a disgusting food prep area or incompetent staff! I will not return to this location regardless of the fact it is the closest to my home!

I guess Washingtonians are definitely more "chill" than Californians. This was one of the weirdest Chipotle experiences we've ever had. We were in line behind a couple with a young girl. Somehow we stood in that line for a good 10 minutes waiting for our turn. The staff here moves very slow and steady. They definitely aren't in any rush to take your order. Even when they were scooping up food into our burrito bowls, they moved like turtles. It was definitely an eye-opener for us. We realized that every Chipotle we've been to in California, the staff here work like a sweatshop; they move muy muy rapido! Overall, the food was still solid Chipotle food, nothing different there. And we were satisfied with our meal. That's all that matters. :)

This is my go-to Chipotle when I am in the Lynnwood area on Tuesdays (after an appointment). Surprisingly enough, they are never super busy (although they do have a line), and the staff are always very attentive and nice. I visited once recently to get a salad with barbacoa, but the barbacoa had run out. I only waited 5 minutes for more, but the staff gave my salad to me on the house, which was super nice! I love using the Chipotle app for ordering. But make sure give yourself at least an hour before you actually need to pick up the food (during heavy traffic times = lunch). You skip the line and just go to the cashier to pay. So easy! I love it.

  • Samuel F.

I enjoy eating at Chipotle and this location usually gives pretty good service. They sometimes have slow lines but overall I give them 4 stars. Parking is a bit of a challenge, and difficult to get to sometimes depending on traffic. Small bathrooms as well.

I live close and eat here once every two weeks. At first it was great, the food, the service and the quality...I didn't mind paying a little extra for what I got... One average they are usually nice. They keep the line moving pretty quickly and the food is OK... I've noticed lately the standards have been slipping. I went here last night and there were 5 lights that were out in the place... There was also a pretty serious layer of dust on the walls next to and ABOVE the food. It dangled and I'm sure drifted down into it. Last month I had a burrito with sour cream that had obviously gone BAD. I also had a burrito last week that had funky tasting meat...$20 down the drain... Last night their usual politeness was replaced with annoyance and even scowling...I wouldn't normally return after the bad food experience, but my other half LOVES this place...however now I'm seriously afraid to eat the food. For their prices and the ridiculous $2 extra for guacamole, I expect better.

This is my go to Chipotle location. They always give generous portions, today try could barely close my burrito it was so huge. I love the fresh ingredients like the corn salsa and guac. I like that they have brown rice now which is a nice addition to their menu. I have tried all the meats but I would like to try to shredded tofu which is a new vegan option. This past year, Chipotle had a deal for teacher appreciation week, that all teachers would get a free burrito. I bought two burritos and got a burrito with double meat and guac for my husband. The manager gave me the more expensive burrito for free! Really nice service!

This location isn't as busy as the one I'm used to going to downtown but for some reason it seemed like they were over-staffed (more than the downtown location) The food was good, as usual. I always get the Chicken Bowl with brown rice, no beans & cheese. The only reason I would ever do a review on a major food chain (yes, I consider Chipotle one) is because of their employees. Good or bad. \ I guess it should be flattering but too bad for them I wasn't having it. One of the workers hit on me & when I shot him down I could tell that he was whispering something to another employee. Altogether, I just felt super uncomfortable. At least wait till I leave, you know?

This Chipoltle is a very good one. Its service is unparalleled. Every time my family and I go there our food is made quickly and the staff is conscientious and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cheap and delicious alternative to traditional Mexican fair.

Stopped on the way back up to Bellingham because the Flemings and I were hungry and I wanted to buy them lunch. The place is very clean, and they have enough employees to fight the constant flow of customers. In my opinion, it's better than the other burrito restaurants. The ingredients seem fresh, and the overall quality of the food/restaurant makes it the best out of the rest! They seriously need to add chipotle in Bellingham. PLEASE.

Having not been to Chipotle in several months, my husband and I were craving some. We recently moved to Lynnwood, so of course I came to the Lynnwood location. There was a long-ish line, no big deal, totally expected for a Saturday evening. When it was finally my turn to order, the employee was moving sooo quickly and demanded to know what kind of meat and beans I wanted in my bowl and burrito before even giving me a chance to think, and then rushed me over to the next person for the toppings. I said what I wanted, and as they were quickly (and I mean QUICKLY) wrapping up my stuff, I realized I didn't get any bell peppers and onions. I saw that it was over by the meat. If the guy hadn't RUSHED MY ORDER THROUGH SO QUICKLY AND HASTILY I would have asked for the bell peppers and onions too! And then before I realized it, they had wrapped up my bowl without adding lettuce! When I said that I had wanted lettuce in my bowl, the girl just crammed some lettuce into a side-cup and shoved it in the bag. Bottom line is, I would rather wait in line for a few extra minutes and have them take their time and get my order RIGHT than rush me through to get me out of there and leave things out! Very unsatisfied.

I'm a huge fan of Chipotle. Any location I go to so far. The food is great quality, healthier and fresh. The staff is always friendly and it is consistent. I've eaten at several across the US and I never get tired of it. I normally do the 3 tacos soft with a chips and guac. Refreshing and light.

Food is always awesome however this place is filthy every time I come in here lately. I have noticed less enthusiastic employees and they all look like they rolled out of bed and came to work. The sneeze guard is always smeared and the floors are constantly dirty and you see no management around. I love the food but I get disappointed in the cleanliness and lack of care that they put into their appearance.

Love the food! You can't go wrong! Always so fresh, clean inside and out, and the staff is super nice. I always get the chicken bowl and I got it with brown rice finally and you can't taste the difference. I don't ever feel guilty after eating here. Its not all greasy. Only issue is that its always so busy that the parking lot is hard to get into and out. But its also off of a busy intersection in lynnwood.

I had given up on good "Mexican" food long ago until this place opened up a few years back along the busy stretch on 196th St. SW between 44th Av. W and the Mall. Parking is abundant and shared with Panda Express, and the interior is smartly designed to hold a line of 20 hungry diners without disrupting the flow in the dining area. The ordering counter is reminiscent of the school cafeteria and you reply with your wants as your order is filled. The process takes about 2-3 minutes as you watch your meal take shape. You can skip the line completely by faxing in your order or sending it online. Store your credit card on their website and all you have to do is claim your bag at the register then go. Very efficient. My go-to item is the burrito bowl with Barbacoa beef. Lots of fresh, savory vegetables and moist beef that tastes unadulterated. "Organic" is a good word here. Finish the bowl with a splash of the Chipotle Tabasco sauce, supplied freely next to the soda machine. The best overall American-Mexican dish around and a screaming good deal. I used to love the crispy tacos (with Barbacoa beef) until they went from four shells to three. Then when I got home, the bottoms were so soggy that I had to use a fork. That's a no-no. This item is now restricted to dine-in only. Whether it's tacos or a burrito bowl, I always get the Barbacoa beef, black beans, and all the free toppings with medium-hot sauce. The guacamole costs an extra $0.50, which I skip. Heck, it costs enough as it is. Not the cheapest. Not even cheap. But, you get what you pay for and this is a really upscale, filling meal to satisfy your inner gringo.

I have a full on confession to make..... Chipotle I love you!!! You fill me with delicious hearty goodness. As you can tell I am a huge Chipotle fan. This was my first time at this location and I was very impressed with the service. The guy that took our order and prepared it was excellent. My mom, who has never been to Chipotle before, wasn't sure how the ordering worked and the guy was extremely helpful and nice in making sure she got had a good first experience. My mom ordered the shredded beef burrito with all the fixings and she loved every bit of it. My wife and I got the steak burritos but with mine I got the fajita veggies and the cilantro brown rice instead of the white rice. Mmmm just writing this down makes me want another one. We defiantly go here at the right time. It was about 1:15 when we ordered and once we sat down people started piling in. It's a very busy location on Saturday afternoons, but for good reasons.

I want to say this is your typical Chipotle. I was only here once since I was in the area. The staff seemed nice even though they were really busy. Although the female staff who was taking my order looked really pissed for some reasons. The other staff next to her was super nice though. The parking lot was not big since it also shares parking space with a few other restaurants in that area. Although it seems it is just big enough to accommodate majority of the guests there even during busy dinner time. I like Chipotle. It was slightly busy during dinner time but the line went by fast. I will stop by again when I am in the area.

Second review in the last six months. My, how this location has fallen from where it was a year ago. While my sour cream wasn't downright rotten, like some other recent reviewers', it was pretty borderline. I'm sorry but the only way this happens is improper storage and rotation. I can also confirm the existence of dust buildup around the sneeze guard and on the ceiling that's so thick I have little doubt that sediment makes its way into the line. The dining room was even worse; I had zero desire to eat on a filthy table that looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day (I was in at 730pm). Music is louder, staff is angrier, food standards are worse, management is apparently absent or is doing it wrong. Several lights in dining room and above line were out, possibly to hide the amount of dust. Won't be going back again when there are about 200 other 6 dollar burrito joints that are actually hygienic.

a high quality mexican chain restaurant... the lines is usually long during the lunch rushes but for good reason... $7 can get you a burrito the size of a small child! i docked them a star because they charge $2 for a scoop of guacamole! other than that - its really no different than any other spot that serves burritos. but it is clean and the food tastes fresh.

  • Emmy R.

Even when the lines get freakishly long, they've got the burrito assembly line down. If it's too slow for you, you can always pre-order online and bypass all the suckers in line that swooped in on a whim out of the terrible 196th St traffic. Food is consistent. What you got last year in Oxnard, CA is what you'll get today at this Lynnwood location. The quality of ingredients is good by fast food standards, per their "food with integrity" claims. The meat looks like meat and tastes like meat, unlike some of their fast food counterparts. And they've got booze if you need a cold cerveza or margarita to wash down that burrito (though I usually take my food to-go). Oh, and also? Chips. And. Guac. I'm addicted.

This place could be a little tidier, but the food is wonderful. Many healthy choices and plenty of room. Kind of noisy but great.

The good is so fresh and delicious! Staff is courteous, they really move you through with great efficiency and accuracy. Live the steak salad with medium salsa, I always ask for some grilled veggies on top. The only detractor here, and it's a big one, is the volume at this joint. The base-heavy music is so intensely LOUD that I have a hard time ordering without YELLING at the poor awesome chefs. We literally eat so fast here we get indigestion...can't wait to get out of the noise. It's so clearly designed to be a place for customers to "scarf and scoot." What gives, Chipotle? Only want the under-25 set for your customers? Bummed that my favorite QSR makes the dine-in experience so rotten.

I'm so excited that sofritas (the new tofu option) has finally come to Chipolte. I've been twice since it arrived, its spicer than I expected but I am ecstatic to be able to choose a tofu option at a chain restuarant. Although Chipolte is owned by McDonalds who have absolutely no vegan options, its great to see that this place does. I've always been a fan of the chips and gaucamole here, and try to avoid looking at the calorie count listed on the menu. Sadly I do have to pay extra to add gaucamole to my vegan dish, and I would love to see some vegan cheese arrive someday but this is now my favorite fast food restuarant. If only they were open later... The parking lot can be a little obnoxious. My boyfriend complains they don't have tapitio, but they do something else.

Love Chipotle, the food is fresh, good choices and fairly decent value. That said this Chipotle location sucks, the service is consistently bad, a bunch attitude all the time or complete indifference to the customer. I've gone to probably at least 20 different locations due to travel and almost everyone has had better customer service. Unfortunately this one is closest to home but I'm done with them. Spend your money at the other branches but avoid this one.

I think the biggest thing Chipotle has going for it - at this particular location, at any rate - is the fact that it's located right in the middle of "downtown" Lynnwood, where non-chain restaurants are very hard to find. I think that's why it's so crowded so much of the time, and that's why I rarely go there - I'm not all that into fighting for parking and then standing in line for up to 20 minutes to order. That said - if I'm driving by and see that they don't have a line, I'm as likely as not to stop and get a burrito bowl to take home with me, because let's face it - their burrito bowls are delicious, and certainly better than anything you could get at any of the places close to them (such illustrious establishments as Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Panda Express, and KFC).

The service at this Chipotle sucks big burrito balls. The last and only two times they have messed up my order. I told the to not add something and they add it. Had an incomplete order three times. They seemed to be too busy goofing off with each other. Food was good, staff sucked. California has way better ones.

Coming from Vancouver, Canada, my friends and I regularly make the 2 hour trip down south to eat at Chipotle. I haven't found a place comparable on either side of the border that matches the taste and freshness of their offerings. I always order the chicken burrito and it's a massive portion enough to feed a hungry guy like me. I do have to say that the line for ordering is intimidating at first, as they rush you through all choices, especially when busy, but if it's your first time, just say so and the staff will gladly walk you through the ordering process. I just wish they would bring a Chipotle up north!

Short review for a reliable, convenient restaurant to grab a tasty burrito or burrito bowl. Can sit in or take out. I enjoy going here for lunch during the week from time to time. Quality ingredients. good prices (around $6 for a burrito or bowl), friendly staff, speedy service, and very tasty! Chipotle is a great alternative to fast food and is actually cheaper and much more satisfying and healthy than fast food Mexican places (Taco Bell, Taco Time, etc). Portions are huge. I can never finish a burrito on my own. The burrito bowl is a more health conscious and still delicious choice, allowing you to avoid the 300+ calorie tortilla.

Oh Chipotle, how I love thee. I love the food - it's always being cooked and never sits like some *cough*Qdoba*cough* and the people are nice and friendly. Anytime I need something quick and yummy this is my go-to place. I just wish they had the drive thru space rather than Panda Express next door, because if they did I'd go more.

This is a good chipotle restaurant. Sometimes the line is reallllllly long, but they do a good job to get you your food as quickly as they can. I'd recommend this.

  • Kelsie G.

Let me start off by saying that I'm a HUGE Chipotle fangirl. This review is more based on the individual location than the chain itself. The boy and I usually stop at this location on our way up north somewhere from our home base in West Seattle. The staff are pleasant enough, and they keep the place pretty clean. However, this past visit, they totally skimped on the ingredients in my burrito! I got maybe a tablespoon of rice and beans, a teaspoon of hot sauce and like five pieces of lettuce. Of course I'm too shy to speak up, so I just dealt with my teenyrito (which was literally half the size of my boyfriend's...wut?). It still tasted good, because Chipotle. Oh well. Here's hoping they amp up their portion sizes next time, because that was just weird and kinda disappointing.

    (3)
  • Meghan M.

My husband and I love Chipotle, but we usually have issues with this location. The portions are so inconsistent! Most of the time the contents of the burritos aren't evenly distributed and you usually end up with a mouthful of rice with all of the meat at the very bottom of the burrito. It feels like each time we come here we are gambling $20 in hopes that we actually get a decent sized meal.

    (2)
  • Stacy B.

Hard not to like this place. The food is ALWAYS fresh and tasty. The portions are generous and service is swift albeit uninspired! If you haven't been, you should really try it. Oh, and to the guy who ordered on-line and rated one star because it wasn't ready... Are you kidding? The food's already cooked, get in line and tell them what you want like the rest of the world!

    (4)
  • Clark D.

I'm a longtime fan of Chipotle. This location is good, not great, but the food is consistent and that's why I keep coming back. TIP!- Like most Chipotle, the lines here get painfully long during busy times. Why on earth more people don't use the online ordering service is totally beyond me. We use it every time. I order online and pick up 15 minutes later in the restaurant. I go to the front of the line and my food is ready in a bag with my order stapled to it. There is no extra cost, I can save my orders for future use, and I skip the 20 minute line. There's also an app for iPhone users. VIP for CMG

I'm in a line of 12 people at 4pm on a Monday and there's only one employee (out of 9 back there) that's helping customers in line. Yikes, bad bussiness plan.

  • Wes K.

I go here just about everyday. This is the finest Chipotle location around. Food is always fresh and staff always has a smile on their faces. The line can be long to wait for between 5 and 7pm but nothing beats the food here.

    (5)
  • Lindsay P.

While Chipotle's food is not bad by any means, I'm not certain that it is great. Maybe it was what I ordered? I had three steak tacos and the meat was chewy, like it had been sitting in that steam tray for a long time. But at least the toppings were fresh, and relatively good. Honestly, for the price, Tacos Guaymas is down the street and I feel like the quality is better. Also, Taco Del Mar is across the street, and I am a particular fan of the fish tacos, which Chipotle has not incorporated.

  • Kristina S.

If you are looking up reviews for Chipotle, trust me... Just go. You won't regret it. I would live here if I could. Even a line 20 people long is gone within minutes. Great customer service, awesome product, amazing flavor. Literally my favorite place to eat. They have beer, too. And chips (with lime salt) and pick your own salsa. Also, a kids taco kit that my 6 year old loves!

This place offers the BEST chicken tacos EVER!!! I always get the set of three and I am never disappointed. The hard shells are crispy, light & full of flavor without being too greasy. The grilled veggies are what set this place apart from the other "fresh" Mexican joints. I actually like the 'watery' sour cream and the seasoning on the chicken is super yummy. My mouth is watering as we speak. Too bad I've already had lunch.

Dear Steve Ells: What the hell?? Your location in Lynnwood wouldn't stand a chance on America's Next Great Restaurants! Stale food, lukewarm meat, watery sour cream and your guacamole made us both sick to our stomachs. We know it was the guac cause I had it again the next day- fool me once shame on you, fool me twice... shame on me, I know. But I wasn't convinced my beloved Chipotle would hurt me, and you did! I am severely disappointed! In an effort to up the ante on my boyfriend, I promised him Chipotle will be much more satisfying than Qdoba (which is closer to us and has the coveted queso). "Pshhh yeah! Qdoba sounds bomb, but**Chipotle**!! would be better!" And I was wrong! Wrong the entire damn time. I respect the restaurants use of responsible, respectful, and sustainable techniques, but seriously- this place use to be SO much better. Stop hiring whoever you are hiring to ruin this place, I WANT to give you my money often. I will come back in hopes they improve, but if not I will stick to Qdoba (amazing queso and pesto!) On an unrelated note: Steve, you just weren't meant for TV.

I like chipotle, I really really do. In fact I'd rather eat chipotle than almost any other fast food. That being said this location has some problems. During the day the staff is wonderful. In the evening they have someone who can't cook rice (why is the rice always undercooked? WHY?), one incredibly rude lady who is just all around awful (doesn't make the burritos correctly, is rude, has better things to do than do her job etc.), and a cashier who typical of Seattle is incredibly unfriendly. I get the sneaking suspicion that the manager of this location never works in the evenings and therefore the employees all feel like they can do whatever they want.

  • Craig W.

I will keep coming back again and again. Delicious burritos. -- The only negative is that the meat lacks moisture and if it weren't maybe the food could be great.

This place is great, and overall an excellent quality chipotle location. Been there twice in past two weeks. Last visit I tried their new spicy tofu in a burrito and it's good. The only bad thing I have to say is that I always feel rushed through the line. They always have their hands on things I don't want and then have to panic and say no I don't want that! For fresh Mexican on the go its a good chain and this store seems nice and clean.

    (5)
  • Stephanie C.

It has NEVER done me wrong. Went here with a co-worker for lunch and boy did it hit the spot. We initially wanted to go to Qdoba, but decided against it. I get the steak bowl w/ lettuce, cheese, black beans, corn salsa, red salsa and sour cream. Then I top it off with green tabasco... it's a freaking party in my mouth. The place is kept clean and the line is kept moving. The staff is super friendly. Depending on the day and rush... the portion size does vary. It doesn't bother me too much, but it could for someone on a diet.

    (5)
  • Phil G.

I love Chipotle, but this is my first time to this location. Oftentimes steak has run out and I'll have to wait for it to cook. So I wasn't too surprised when it was the case here also. But it turned out the management made it worth my while, so props to them!

    (5)
  • Jeff H.

It's the standard Chipotle... Clean, no-nonsense place to eat. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The menu is extremely limited and frees the mind from confusion about what to order. The portion sizes are just right unless a visitor is getting the 3-Taco order. That is not enough food unless you've had a procedure done, or it's for a child. The price is acceptable comparatively speaking.

  • Tony Y.

Nice place, got a couple burritos from here tonight. Ingredients are nice and fresh as advertised. The size is decent but they pack it in alot more at taco del mar. The place was super busy, its pretty popular here I soon realized. The prices are a little steep but thats fine. Im more used to the "standard" burritos with refried beans and mexi rice and such. But the lime rice, and black beans were a nice change. This place is pretty good, I may be back someday.

I am usually not a fan of mexican chains. Chipotle turned out to be a great experience! A safe place for vegetarians - cheese has vegetarian rennet, black beans and lime cilantro rice are also vegetarian. The smokey flavored sauteed peppers and onions is fantastic. It is nice that they take care to specify vegetarian and vegan info on their website. On the whole, a great deal for $5.85! They have outdoor seating for summer!

So Chipotle is a chain. Chains are always hard to review, but locations do vary. This locations is pretty decent. It gets super busy around lunchtime and finding a table might be hard. If you walk in and there's line, stake out a table before you start waiting. Have no fear though if the line is long because the staff works quick and will get your food quickly. My only complaint, besides lack of tables, is that my meat wasn't as hot as I'd like. Then again, for mass market food it was pretty tasty.

    (4)
  • Robert K.

I have been coming here since I could eat. It can get pretty busy in here but don't let the long line discourage you, the Lines move quick. Fresh ingredients and you watch them cook the meat to perfection. Come here and get the steak tacos or burritos and you will be back

If you are REALLY REALLY hungry, this is a great place to eat on the run. The menu is not very diverse, but the food is very fresh and tasty. The burritos they make are monstrous! They also serve beer and margaritas there as of recently, which is cool. Chipotle is my go-to place if I'm really hungry and in a time crunch. I'm definitely a fan.

    (4)
  • Jenny H.

I love you. Honestly, that's all I can really say. You could come back week after week and try and different combination everytime, and everything would take like an orgasm in your mouth. My family usually gets it to go, but a couple of times we've eaten here. The only downside is that it is a little dirty. They are kind of slow about wiping down the tables.

    (5)
  • Zach J.

This restaurant brings the best burritos to the US! The meat is natural grain fed (or however they advertise it in their stores). I've eaten here plenty of times, and it's always delicious! But then again, how can you screw up on a burrito for 7$ and it's the size of say of 2 or 3 of your fists (if you have small or large hands). It WILL fill you up! VERY satisfying to eat here!

    (5)
  • Peter A.

Thia was not like the Chipotles that I am use to in Arizona. The barbacoa did not taste like it does in AZ. The brown rice was still a little crunchy and had very little lime flavor and almost no salt. I am very disappointed with this location when I have been able to expect and enjoy consistency with Chipotle until I came to the Lynnwood location.

    (2)
  • Ryan M.

Love me some Chipotle, even if I have a hard time spelling it. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is quick and friendly, and I feel like I get a lot for the $. The bowls are terrific. Best quick fresh mex around. One request - have more than Tabasco available. Would like to see Tapatio and Cholula.

  • Becky K.

Excellent prices, and great food, and you can order it the way you want it. Generous portions, love the Crispy tacos with steak, corn salsa, cheese, lettuce and side of guacamole... Can't really elaborate, the food speaks for itself and taste as close to what I remember from living in San Diego as I found in the Seattle area..... And since you decide what is in it, even if I do get a burrito, I don't have to get it mission style.

    (5)
  • Derek M.

The food is typically the best burritos I have ever eaten, most of the time the service is not very good, I have to remind them what ingredients I want sometimes 3 times, they barely smile and are very cold. But the food is soooooo good, I have to come back 2-3 times a month!

    (4)
  • Megan R.

I'm gonna say it - I freaking love Chipotle. I could like Yin Y. eat there everyday. They don't have a ton of variety but I think that's what makes them great. They have burritos, bowls, salads etc. I love that they have a pork option (which is tender and great) and all of the meat is good - you can't go wrong with chicken, beef OR pork. The rice is amazing and has little bits of cilantro in it and the dressing they give you for the salad is amazing! I like it also because they have low carb options. I have permanently ditched taco Del mar and will NEVER go back.

I ordered a carnitas fajita burrito bowl. I'd like to highlight my first experience of this "Mexican" grill chain restaurant in a series of pro's and con's: PROS: =Ingredients were well seasoned, tasted pretty fresh =Portions were reasonable =Selection of condiments was diverse =Eco friendly- use of made from recycled napkins and to-go containers =No processed junk =Coke Zero, FTW. I never see anyone offer Coke Zero so props for that. =fresh lemon wedges to go in my icy Coke Zero =nutritional information available on website. CONS: -Food ordered to-go and transported 6 minutes to my destination left it lukewarm- the cheese was not even melted so it makes me question their food temp. I had to throw my food in the microwave. -Extra meat (not even a full scoop) was 2.00. -They fill the burrito bowl with cilantro lime rice, and more than the websites advertised portion for calorie counting (3 oz i believe is advertised, there was more than a cup- about 6-7 ounces... for those counting calories and carbs that dont know what a half cup of rice is supposed to look like, this can be very misleading) Chipotle seems to use the rice as a filler, and seem to skimp on the other ingredients. -No green tomatillo salsa that day, which is one of the reasons I wanted to try chipotle!! -Price for a burrito bowl, with extra meat, fajita veggies, large portion of rice, medium salsa, sour cream and cheese came to around 9.00. A little more than i'd like to pay for one item. Bottom line, this is a chain, they are middle of the road as far as my rating goes. The food is made fast, and it tastes ok. I will probably be back in the future, but won't be going out of my way to eat here.

    (3)
  • Michaela T.

I love how their food is organic. I give them low stars because I feel as though I got ripped off. I just wanted a side of beans a rice. At other places, they charge me $3 at the most. This place charged me $7! I will not be going back.

Steak Bowl w/ Extra Cheese... PLEASE!!! I love Chipotle and the simple approach to ordering food. You have about 5 choices of meet and the same in ways of preparing it. Long lines don't take that long to expire, as ordering is pretty fast. I have the iPhone app, so I generally order before I get there. This allows me to walk up to the counter, grab my food and go. The spices they use for food are tasty and everything seems to be very diet friendly. Unless you order 3 Steak Burritos, or something. If you haven't eaten here, give it a try. it's my new favorite fast food spot.

Chipotle is generally a good chain, and this one is a good Chipotle. Very fresh ingredients, friendly people. A few thoughts: * I'm a fan of the Carnitas Burrito with black beans, but the barbacoa is really good too. Heck, I haven't found anything on the menu that's bad. * The food here is much more variable than it is at other chains. I've had it range from "pretty good" to "utterly awesome". Portion sizes can likewise very highly, from "normal" to "extremely large". * This isn't necessarily fast food. It's fast during midafternoons, but during the lunch and dinner rushes, expect to wait in line 5-10 minutes before ordering. * Indoor seating can also be packed during rush times, so you might want to have one member of your party grab a table while the others wait in line for food. * Communicate with your servers. They'll do just about anything reasonable (add more of a given ingredient, etc.) if you ask politely. * The one marginal thing I've found on the menu is the chips. If you like salsa, just have them put more of it in your entree instead.

  • Ian M.

They now have a kids' menu that is a decent price. I wish one of the options was a smaller version of the bowl. Music still too loud. Tables still consistently dirty. Pretty much going to do take-out from now on. I appreciate the online ordering.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO HATE ON CHIPOTLE. Flawless in their design and menu. Veggie bowl, extra veggies, mild AND medium sauce, a whole lot of guac, corn, and lettuce. I will always be satisfied

This is my Varsity Chipotle. We eat here about twice a month. They are quick and efficient and their customer service is top notch. They will not hesitate to cook a new batch of chicken for you at closing. We always get the Salads which are fantastic.

I don't know why I didn't try chipotle before but I should have because it is delicious!!! I got the chicken burrito and it was grilled and seasoned to perfection. The pico de gayo was delicious along with the rest of the toppings! I recommend getting the homemade guacamole, its $1.80 more but totally worth it and they give you alot! Overall, very fresh ingrediants, made to order, great atmosphere, and eco friendly!

This was difficult for me to write. I say this because I usually have a great experience at this particular location. But who ever was on during the time I went there left their "A" game at home. First of all, I like to place my order on line as I know that usually during the time I was ordering there was going to be a long line ahead of me, so to shorten some time I ordered on line. I understand that there still may be a little time to wait, so I was estimated a pick up time at 1715, I showed up at 1730 to make sure my order would be ready. I went to the cashier to pick up my orderTo my surprise my order wasn't even started. The cashier asked for my name went to the wall where they have the online orders hung, pulled a receipt and told me they will be starting it. As i was watching them make the order, they were grabbing different thing, come to find out it wasn't even my order, the receipt didn't even have my name on it, then they said they never got the order, yet I had a confirmation receipt with me with the estimated time and the total due. I then had to wait 30 mins longer for them to actually make my order and to top it off, they still got my order wrong. Missing ingredients that was clearly marked on their order form. The food I give 5 stars but the customer service I would give a negative 3 stars. Don't think I will be going back to this place again, how hard is it to place cooked food into a bowl. Pretty damn simple if you ask me. I think you need to hire people that can read and follow simple directions. People working in a fast paced establishment like that will surely help it cash and burn and gain more letters like the one I'm writing.

I could eat here everyday.. ..if someone dares (bets) me I always get the vegetarian bowl here. A bowl instead of the traditional burrito because it's less messy and I don't end up finding rice in my hair later. I love that they don't microwave their beans like other competitors.. they actually cooked it! Also the bell peppers and guacamole are always freshly made. Now if only I could find someone to make me a fake current high school ID then I could get a free soda!

I eat here way too much. Definitely the best chain burrito place. They do everything right. Prices are good. Food is fresh and delicious. Service is fast and friendly. I don't think I've ever had anything here that I didn't like. All of the meat choices are good. The pinto beans are great. The guac and salsas are all good.

When you want a quick fix for you mexican food craving then this is the place. You can your fajita's and burrito's here and if you want to cut down on the carbs you can ask for all of fixin's in a bowl or "bol" less the tortilla. The cilantro rice rocks and meet is grilled fresh right in behind the counter. Even on a busy day you can easily get your fix in only a matter of minutes! I usually get the burrito bol with steak, fresh salsa, black beans and cheese with a Kiwi Berry Nantucket Nector for a whopping $7.98! And trust me there's so much food in the burrito bol you'll have plenty for later. Urband Legend Update: McDonald's bought a controlling share of the Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) chain. But, has since divested all it shares in CMG and no longer owns Chipotle.

Quick, friendly, and always FRESH! I also believe the produce and meats they use are organic and usually local. The food is good, even though Americanized Mexican food and the prices are cheap compared to the load of food you get. A great choice over fast food if you're looking for a quick bite and they open a bit later too. I'm a fan of the steak (tender) burrito and burrito bowl. Also, the rice that's used is white rice mixed with some cilantro, and for some reason, it makes all the difference! Extra corn salsa, yes please!! =)

The staff is usually friendly and the prices are affordable. I order the naked salad with beans and rice and it is wonderful.

The best freshest fast food around. The restaurant is also very nice and clean. The line is out the door every day for lunch which is a great sign.

I had never heard of this place growing up in Michigan. My work is within walking distance, so naturally I tried it on a whim one lunch hour. It has quickly become a weekly destination. Fast, cheap, good. The menu is limited, but the stuff is fresh and you can get them to make it however you want it. I like the chicken and pork, I got the steak once and it was pretty bland and tough. Chicken and pork is a safe bet. My usual is a burrito bowl with chicken and green peppers and onions.

What can I say? My first ever Yelp 5 star review goes to Chipotle! Anything you order is fresh and tasty, plus you can get your brew on ;-) if you haven't been to Chipotle yet, I highly recommend it. Order a steak fajita bowl, a lime margarita, and let your tastebuds dance. You'll love it!

i'm a fan of fast food in general, but i know i shouldn't eat it too much. to that point, these burritos are almost 1000 calories each. i had the beef (baraocoa, sp?) burrito, with everything and it looked good and tasted great. with the chips + salsa, and the coke i figure i consumed about 1500 calories. i didn't eat dinner tonight. the chips were stale. the hot, red salsa had a great slow, deep burn, but it didn't have great taste. they serve beer! not your typical fast food joint...great stuff.

I go to chipotle here and there, when I am in the area and won't be heading home for dinner/can't go home because of my teaching/work schedule, etc. I usually get my food to go, if I go there. They are very well known. Honestly, the downsides to Chipotle are very few, compared with the good stuff. They aren't THAT expensive, and their burritos are HUGE. I always pay the extra $2 for the guacamole, its a tradition. The food is healthy, and very, very filling. Only downsides-1.) not quite AS cheap as some might expect, 2.) Sometimes the service isn't the greatest, its FAST, but the workers, in my opinion, tend to sometimes be overworked a bit/feel pressured to go really, really fast, etc. So they get used to talking really, really fast, speaking too loudly or not clearly enough, maybe it comes off as sounding a little "pushy", etc. Give them a break, these are mostly young people, mostly in their 20's. I've NEVER had a bad experience with any Chipotle worker. Put yourself in their shoes, and see if you can do any better. 3.) The atmosphere is kind of loud and appeals to a young crowd, the music should be turned down a bit, just to avoid shouting when trying to have a conversation, etc.

I know, I know -- franchises don't have that local-homemade feel or taste. But hey, it's a franchise because it's food is widely popular and tasty. You can't go wrong with the chicken or beef burrito, both are excellent. Try the pinto beans, but if you're trying to cut back on the calories black beans would be better choice cause the pinto beans are served with bacon. The lime rice is ingenious. Now you don't have to add the lime like you do in Mexico. Add cheese, sour cream, medium salsa, corn salsa and pico de gallo, and there you have it: a little taste of heaven wrapped in a flour tortilla. My wife and I swore by Taco Del Mar for years, we were the double punch Monday couple. But then we were introduced to Chipotle and now Taco Del Mar is a distant memory. Bottom line this place ROCKS!!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
