Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Came here with a group. I made reservations in advance and it was a very easy process. We got really great seating. We let the waitress know we were on a time crunch because we were going to see a movie right after. She was so fast and brought out our checks in a timely manner. I ordered the Can't Stop Rocking pizza. It was so good!!!!! Remember to sign up for a rewards card. I got my pizza for free since it's my birthday month!

My husband and I go here all the time we always sit at the bar. And the bartenders are always nice and friendly unfortunately the quality in food has gone down. I don't know what happen.. Went today on 8/14 ordered a normal deep dish pizza... Half of the top was scorched, and the bottom was burnt to a crisp. Not happy, not satisfied lol.

Had sandwiches for lunch. Food was ok but kinda bland. Indigestion followed. Good beer and atmosphere, service was good as well.

Extremely slow. We were told 25 minutes and as we walk to the bar area so saw a number of tables empty. As for the bar, totally packed and with only one person attending the booths, tables and the drinks. As far as the food is concerning, blah. I had the Mediterranean salad, it was lceberg lettuce with i Italian dressing. Very, very dull. I ask for a roll several tine, after the fourth attempt to get one I was told they didn't have any Reafy. But at least the sweet ice tea was good.

As much as we still love the staff here, the new menu is TERRIBLE. I know as restaurants go on you have to make changes and sometimes trim items off to keep things relevant and interesting. The problem here is that pretty much everything we would eat regularly, other than the pizza, has been removed. We used to come in a minimum of once a week, usually more, but it's been several since we've been back. I can also see from several other recent reviews that other problems are emerging as well.

Lazy place. Dont even send the manager for exposing you to salmonella! Super hot raw wings for yah! No apology either.

Thanks for free bread. Good burgers and margaritas. Let's you drink before movie to sober up lol.

Decided to try this place for lunch. Burger and soda cost me $20. Took 40 minutes to get lunch when restaurant only had 4 or 5 tables whole place. Sat in the bar watched employees visit and chatting. Burger arrived. Bun was burned meat was burned and it was all a nasty dry affair. French fries portion was apparently 13 fries total. Portion so small the plate looked bare even with burger on it. Bartender never checked on me until I asked for check. In today's economy I can only imagine this place would close if it weren't for the theater next door. Don't waste your time

Every time I come here I am always disappointed by at least one item we receive, tonight I had dinner with my girlfriend before a movie and we ordered the fish tacos, mozz bread and the chicken strips. The fish tacos were far from impressive and we didn't even get a full chicken breast worth of chicken strips and the worst part they wanted $10.50 for them. The only reason we ate here tonight was the simple fact of the convenience to the movie theater. What a disappointment I've given this place more than one chance and am constantly let down and tonight was the final straw. I'd suggest only getting drinks....

First off big ups to Travis my favorite Rock Bartender! Then we got Kathy for waitress, very nice and fast! Thanks Kathy, for the service.

We already liked the Rock location in Fed Way, so thought we'd take our daughter and her boyfriend to the one in Lacey. Great music, fun decor, tasty foods (Iron Man Pizza, some Alfredo, Caesar salad, cheeseburger, mozz bread), good drink'n options, and super-terrific service from Jessita. Had a transgenerational good time and a Happy Friday night for us! And there is even a freakin' custom van for decoration!

  • Sonia K.

Really mediocre food. The pizza was bland, the onion rings were soggy. I wouldn't recommend eating here at all unless starving at going to a movie and have no other options lol.

We have not been here since they first opened a long time ago and obviously never returned until now. We were pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of food options they have with not only their pizzas, but burgers, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, etc. Our waitress JESSITA is a pure gem. Her customer service & sincerity were genuine. You don't find that too often in waitresses/waiters nowadays. She made us feel like we were having dinner at her house at her table. She truly helped to make our visit here very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. The food we ordered were the garlic & brown sugar mozz bread, bad to the bone pizza, the founder's pie and the rock burger with caramelized onions and bacon. Each of us were extremely satisfied with our dish and happy bellies all around. Overall, based on service & food: 5 stars. MANAGEMENT: please ensure the bathrooms are kept in better condition. It should be kept as clean as the rest of the restaurant. If I included the bathroom in the review, I would take either half a star or 1 star away. Thanks.

Husband and I sat at the bar yesterday night before watching the Ninja Turtles at the cinema right next door. We ordered three appetizers to share. The nachos with shrimp, the fried calamari, and the sweet chile boneless chicken tenders. Nachos came out half burnt with the burnt ends sticking straight out of the toppings like an eye sore. We ate around the burnt parts and found the dish not to be so bad. Calamari were little rubbery balls of over breaded poor excuses of squid babies and squid rings. Horrible. Chicken tenders were crunchy and weirdly shapes but they were actually pretty good. The sweet chile sauce packed some heat (for me at least because I don't eat much spicy food). The drinks were delicious. I had the ten dollar margarita and I would give it a 7 out of 10. The salt on the rim kind of just fell off into my hand whenever I took a sip so that was disappointing. Usually the salt doesn't just fall off. I also got the Oye Como Va drink and that had a nice overall flavor. My husband enjoyed his Bloody Mary and I thought it had a nice taste as well. The bartender was well trained and did his job well. He was very friendly and seemed to enjoy working his shift. I would return to this restaurant, but I would order their pizza next time because I've heard awesome things about the pizzas.

I visited this place a few times. I distinctively remember the very first time because it was a first date memory. The service was great and the atmosphere was cool especially the decor. The wings are great and the pizza was pretty good. There are a variety of unique toppings and all can be altered and changed to how you like it. It is located next to the Regal movie theatre within a shopping center which makes it very convenient to stop in before or after a day out. Prices are reasonable as well.

Great atmosphere. Great music! The decor is concert inspired and very detailed. The staff is nice and the food is good. During our lunch, the music was totally 90s, which we loved. Haven't heard Violent Femmes played in public since the 90s*)

Jessica was our server and she's amazing!! Very friendly, super helpful, and patient. My little nephew is autistic and she was very patient with us cause of his crying!! Thanks Jessica, we'll be back again soon!!

We showed up around 6:30 on a week night. Not really busy. We went to the bar for faster service. Ordered drinks took about 10-15 minutes. Then we ordered simple foods chicken nachos and a pasta... " because i already dont like there pizza" 45 minutes later my nachos arrived bone cold and the pasta looked ok until mixed up and it turned out to be a milky mess. Nachos got sent back reheated and served to me again... just terrible. We attempted to eat our food but it wasn't good. The server was really nice. We told him we were sorry and would not be back.. he was very apologetic and got us a discount. . But openly admitted the manager doesn't care and was looking for a new job because there were too many customer complaints and a bad working environment. Terrible place to eat unless you have alot of time to spend there. I do hope the server gets an awesome job

We came here with the idea would get something other then pizza and it would also be good!! Sad store it was not. We got the stake!! I was sharing with my 5 year old son before we went to the movie. The stake was oil and there was Gristle running thru the middle of the stake. For 15.99 you would like it would take better!! I think that I will stick with stuff I have has from here

Went to the rock around 5:30 pm, wow it has great potential to grow but the waiters grid is broken.

  • Dean W.

I used to go eat pizza with friends and family at this restaurant because the food here was really good. Now the quality of the pizza you order is not good no more some time is over cook, some time is cool and the service was bad too. It take the waiter 15 minute to get us a BBQ sauce and he look kinda mean...

Second time coming here! Awesome service and delicious food. Got sat quickly on a Friday night.

This was the best pizza place I have ever been. Cheesy bread ..yum. The bleu cheese burger was amazing and so was the crazy train pizza . Definitely gonna go back.

I built this rock so I have a special spot for it. Great tip is if you go to the rock you can get a movie special. You get a large pizza any kind, two pops, plus to movie tickets for $ 36.00. That is a great deal!!! Two adult tickets is $21.00 by them selves. Ask your waitress for the movie deal special...

    (3)
  • Jennifer L.

The quality of service honestly depends on when you go which is understandable since service is a high turnover job. The food is consistently good! I love that my husband and I can split a pizza and get exactly what we want! You're allowed to make one pizza 2 different pizza toppings which is wonderful since we don't want to have to order 2 but neither want to budge on what we want. The alcohol... It's not consistent. Sometimes I wonder if my bucket actually has any shots in it and I definitely think I get shorted sometimes. But when I get served my bucket correctly I'm all smiles! It's also a great place to bring a big group of friends to have a great night out and then sober up at a movie next door!

  • Olystacy B.

My friends and I went here for a later dinner and drinks in the bar on a Friday. Service from Johnny was impeccable. Attentive without being annoying. We all had appetizers, entrees, and dessert and all were very delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back.

Not sure about food... So far waiting 30 minutes for two personal pizzas... Its not busy, 6 tables of people... Less than half full

Went here today with a friend for the first time in a while. The food was good but the service was not so great. The wait for a table wasn't bad, we were seated almost immediately. I ordered a peach lemonade and instead was given a peach iced tea and when I told our waitress that I had asked for lemonade our waitress told me that I asked for iced tea (my friend also heard me say lemonade and not iced tea). Then my friend and I ordered the Mozz Bread as an appetizer and the Revolution pizza. We were only given the pizza and not the appetizer however the pizza was probably the best I've ever had. When we got our check we had been charged for the appetizer that we had never received. We pointed the mistake out to our waitress and told her we never received the appetizer and the waitress said "Are you sure you didn't get it?" As if we were hiding it in our pockets or just don't remember what we ate. From there we had to wait another 10-15 minutes to get our appetizer to go and when we got the check we had been charged TWICE for the appetizer. On top of that my friend had used his VIP member card and the money on it was taken off to pay for the additional charges. Things seemed to be getting progressively worse so we decided to leave before something else happened. Don't think we'll be coming back again outside of the lunch happy hour times. 5/5 for pizza 2/5 for service

I've been to this place a couple of times, my visits are pretty satisfying in general. My husband and I sat at the bar like we always do when we go out, bartenders were very nice and friendly, drinks and food tasted good, and got to see our favorite sports games right in front of the tv. I would definitely go back there for our casual night outs and their service!

Our servers name was Cathy. Super fast and friendly. Never ran out of pop. Pizza was AMAZING !!!! WE WILL BE BACK ! And best garlic cheese bread ever !

Great food! Got here pretty late after a long drive from California, stopped by to find a rest area and surprisingly found something interesting to eat. I like their slow ride pizza, but their chipotle chicken wing is bit burned on the outside. Inside is pretty good :) however I think they might put a lot of msg in the seasoning.

1st time I have been here & I loved it. Went in Last Saturday after making a run to Tacoma for some scrap metal. Candice was the server & she was a sweetheart & extremely attentive. She made sure me & my dad were well taken care of. Always checking with us to make sure we had our drinks filled & making sure we were happy with out pizza. My dad & I had the Revolution with an order of Garlic Mozz bread. It was a little loud, but I could deal with that. Great place & I will be going back again.

This review has less to do with the food or drink of The Rock as it does with the service. To be quite honest, I don't much care for the franchise, but I continue to go because of the people. Travis, who is the bartender, is easily one of my favorite bartenders in the south sound. As for the cocktail waitresses, I can only recall two names, Justine and Danielle, but they are both dolls with great personalities and a way of making you feel right at home. Now that we have that out of the way, here are my thoughts about The Rock Wood Fired Pizza. I discovered The Rock Wood Fired Pizza franchise more than a year ago, The franchise is indigenous to Washington State and earns its reputation by sporting an atmosphere that can best be described as grunge-like. It makes sense as the state was the home of the late grunge legend Kurt Kobain, and is often attributed as the birth place of Grunge music. However, the clash, at least for me, comes from the menu, booths, music and just about everything else. The theme of The Rock is musical in nature, but from a different era. The restaurant is meant to be a tribute to rock legends like Aerosmith, Meatloaf, ACDC, and the greats. The booths are covered with popular verses from classic rock songs and the menu items, which comes in the shape of a vinyl record cover, are named after those same songs. Now, one could infer from the name that the main entrée the restaurant is pizza. I like pizza, but I aside from the names, there's really not much to be said of the pizza; it is simply pizza. There is something to be said of Rock Wings though. That is my go-to item. So, if you find yourself bored on a Friday night, pay a visit to the bar at The Rock Wood Fired Pizza in Lacey, WA and say hello to Travis, Justine, and Danielle. Whatever you may think of the franchise, you are sure to enjoy their company.

  • Amy L.

Loved the Mozz bread, got it for free on Yelp. Pizza is pretty good, but I thought it could have more toppings for the price. We got the bbq pork pizza and the big meaty pizza with lots of meat, but that one was a little more expensive than the normal ones. Services was good even though they were super busy that night.

    (4)
  • Caleb S.

The food was good, the service was ok, all the dishes were dirty still and they are way to damn expensive

    (2)
  • Kerrie P.

Loud! Not a lot of seating! Watch out if it's before or after the movies start or let out, you will get no service!

    (2)
  • J N.

I stop in here almost everytime before I catch a movie, grab one of their famous "buckets" along with some mozz bread, they have a great assortment of pizza, with fun rock themes to go along with them, such as "bad to the bone" and "crazy train.", they also have microbrews my favorite is the "suicide blonde". More often than not, Travis is my server and always has a smile on his face, kudos. If you dont know what to order come in during happy hour, or wed-fri. for their lunch buffet 11-2pm I believe, to try any pizza on the menu, some mozz bread, salads, soup, etc. and @$9.99 w/1st beer, who can beat that.. :)

Started off great then went straight to crap. Wanted desert but server deserted us soooooooooo paid tab and left. Not even that busy guys so don't know what the problem was.

    (3)
  • Dom M.

The Bar tender working at 7:45 pm should probably spend less time on FB and more time ensuring her customers have drinks, are able to close out their tabs and simply be capable of getting her attention. Or she could stay hidden in the corner by the register, either way.

  • Kendra A.

I always know I will get great food here. Good selection to choose from, and the staff always seem very friendly. I love the decor and the overall vibe you get when eating here. It's a very "cool" place to go, I love Classic Rock! Will absolutely come here again. And again. And again. :-)

I came here with a group of 6 of us on a Friday night. This place was busy, but we were able to get a big booth by the bar. My friends recommended this place because of their bucket drinks, and I was intrigued. This is also a pizza place, however, we came here for drinks only. We each ordered a 'bucket' drink. This is a cocktail put in a small sand bucket, that even has a little shovel. You can get nice selection of drinks made in these buckets. I will admit that they are a bit pricey for a drink since most of the bucket consists of huge pieces of ice, BUT they are tasty. Out table also ordered jello shots that come in plastic syringes. They have 5 or so flavors of those as well. The service was extremely slow, even taking into account that it was busy, but our waitress was apologetic. Overall this place is a great place for a group outing for drinks and food. Next time though, I want to try their pizza, since that is their namesake! I did glance at the menu and the prices are a bit high, but if it the food/drink is great, then who cares!?

    (3)
  • Tabatha N.

Love the pizza. Bad to the bone, Revolution, and California dreamin are my favs. Try not to go during peak movie times and you should get good service and food. "Bucket" drinks are good too :)

  • Don S.

Oh my gosh! I was there only because I was taking someone out and they requested eating there. The wings were underdone. I asked the waitress and she raved about how this "chef" made spectacular catfish. I know, just writing it sounds like a horrendous idea at what is, ostensibly"a pizza place! It was worse than you could ever imagine. Heavily spiced with something akin to Lawry's salt, but even worse......it was sushi undercooked. That's right raw catfish. I just hurled a bit recalling it! One of the worst things I've ever had. To their credit they were tripping over themselves and took it off of the bill, but the damage was done. Never again.

    (1)
  • Heather M.

Decent drinks, but their pricey unless you go for happy hour! The service was just okay... we had to wait over a half hour to get our bill last time we went, which is ridiculous. However, our waitress was extremely friendly and competent; I think they were just short-handed (which seems to be a common theme)?! I plan on coming back to try their pizza as it looked really good. Their happy menu is just so so... I wish they had more variety!!

Our first visit was about3 years ago right after moving to the area and I remember it as pleasant so decided to take the kids back a few weeks ago. It was a weeknight and not very busy at all. We were undecided about what to order so the waitress gave us more time. Well after more than 15 minutes of waiting for her to come back we decides to leave. My children were not given the dough to play with and were just getting too restless. I went to the front to pay for our 1 drink and after the hostess went back to talk with the waitress, saw them giggling, I was offered our drink for free. We took our business down the street to brewery pizza. So much better service there and the food is good too. I will not be returning to this place, to me customer service is very important and the workers there on that night were horrible!

    (1)
  • Steve C.

This place was good for a short amount of time after corporate took it over. they remodeled which was a waste because it looked fine before. I had sworn off the place because the quality of the food and service had gotten ridiculous, plus they went years refusing to clean the ceiling duct work which became caked with greasy dust. . It is cleaner now but the food is not good again, and the place is always massively understaffed. This is a case of ownership demanding a certain profit and the customer experience is allowed to fall to what ever low level is required to get that profit. I might get a beer here before a movie, but I probably am done with the food for good.

  • Katie C.

We came at 1pm on a Thursday for lunch. We got the pizza Buffett -- BIG mistake. Everything was gross, from the unripe fruit salad to the mystery heat lamp pizzas. Lasagne was mediocre at best. I keep biting into whole fennel seeds (and that was the only seasoning in the lasagne) and it was literally layers of nothing but crushed tomatoes, noodles and plain ricotta (oh, and a crapload of fennel seeds) Every Round Table buffet I've ever been to has been way better. The only positive was the cool decor and that the coke was fizzy and the iced tea was good.

Well what I can say. All show and no go. So I visited The Rock while working in Olympia, since it was recommenced by the locals and while it's not a overly bad pizza place (I do like the theme!), it's not on my list to revisit. I stopped by on a weekend night around 7:30 and they were very busy. Understandable since it's a bar, next to a movie theater , etc. They offered me a 6-person booth, which I declined because I am by myself and I knew they were busy. I had no problems waiting for a small booth to open up. But they insisted. After about 10 minutes, I was ask to move so a larger party could take the booth. Not a big deal really, but put me off a little since I offered this up front. I ordered their "Founders Pie", since I am really liking Ricotta on my pizza as of late, which unknown to me, also came with a side of huge disappointment. It took nearly an HOUR to get my pizza. I know the place was busy, I know I am one guy so you are assuming that my tip will be small, but when the party of 6 that took my table, effectively ordering a good 15 minutes after I placed my order, gets their food before I do -- your service is horrible. In fact, they got their check before I did too! Not only this, but once the pizza arrived, the cheese was already starting to congeal. There was no way it was fresh out of the oven and my guess it was sitting for at least 15 minutes before it was brought to my table. I couldn't eat more than 1/2 my pizza because it was just going cold and tasted like garbage. Last but not least. This place is a bar and a restaurant and you only have single service bathrooms? Really? All show and no go.

Your food made me ill and your decor assaulted my sense. You should close your doors for good as you are an affront to all mankind.

  • Michael Y.

Food and service are good. The beer is good too though they were out of the IPA which I presume is unusual. We ordered a small pizza for my two-year old that did not pass their own quality control. It was a little thin in the center for a hand-tossed pizza. They brought it anyway and shortly after made us a new one that was within their standards. I felt this was the appopriate thing to do even the both pizzas were fine for us. My meal and my wife's meal were good and it was an overall average to above average experience. You can't beat this place if you're here to see a movie next door.

Awesome place. One of the few places that has gluten free pizza's and I love the brews. My favorite is the Wild Thing. It can get crowded so be warned.

Awesome food great atmosphere. Definitely going back. my husband ordered the crazy train pizza and i ordered buffalo chicken strips and fries and then we split everything. sooooo good. and the microbrews- incredible!

The rock has amazing pizza! Been here a couple of times now. The service was a bit slow the first time and we had an error with the credit charges, but the food was delish! The wings with sweet chili sauce, Hawaiian, meat, arugula and prosciutto, and bang a dong pizza are super tasty! My family, friends, and girlfriend like their drinks too!

  • Lori K.

I've come to find that when a restaurant has a theme they concentrate more on that then the quality of their food but the pizza here was pretty good, although the large seemed a bit small and somewhat pricier than what I'm used to. We got the "Crazy Little Thing" veggie pizza and they had no issues with us wanting to substitute one of the ingredients. My friend and I really loved the crust. I loved the large soda cups, but what really made these 2 California girls smile was the "Cookie Dough" dessert they had which for those of you familiar with BJ's "Pizookie" is very similar. If my friend stays in this area and I go back to visit again I'll probably want to go back to "The Rock".

  • Sally L.

Absolutely the slowest service! Don't come here if you want to see a movie after, because we did, and we thought we would be served our food within an hour of being seated, even when we had our order ready AS SOON AS WE WERE SEATED. But nooooooooo, an hour later still sitting, no food, dirty tables not being cleaned all around us, and late for our movie. We should've gave ourselves two or three hours to eat!

    (2)
  • Heather T.

Great pizza. We stopped for lunch. They had a buffet and beer for $9.99. Can't go wrong!

  • Jessica W.

Love this place! We have been going here about once a month since we moved here 3 years ago and have never had bad service or bad food. They always give us a military discount and are super friendly! I love that it's next to the movies so it's very easy to grab a bite and a beer before or after a show. I almost always get the "Crazy Train" pizza and it's amazing! Also the brown sugar mozz bread is to die for!!

    (5)
  • Yumi C.

Food and beer are good but I love their service the most. They were all very friendly and the waiter always gave us good advice on food and drink (we had the same waiter every time but I still don't remember his name lol) The last time we ordered Garlic Mozz Bread, pasta and caeser salad with chicken, they were pretty good too. Would like to go there during dinner time next time.

The only thing that saves this place is the drinks. The food and service is terrible.

    (2)
  • Steven D.

I have eaten here two or three times. Only average pizza and wings but other than that this place is nothing special. In fact when I wanted to order one pizza with some substitutions they fussed that this was not usually allowed and then when it came it was not right. The only reason we came back a second time was it was too far to drive from Olympia to our favorite pizza place in Dupont.

I only have eaten at the lunch buffet, and one trip during happy hour when I was waiting for my rims and tires to be put on at the Discount Tire next door. The lunch buffet was very good, there was a great selection of pizza, some pasta dishes and a little salad bar. Plus you get a separate house salad or Caesar salad if you want one brought by the server. The cold pasta salads were tasty, especially the noodle and chicken concoction. The pizza was fresh and delicious, about ten different varieties, and they replaced them quickly with new flavors. Then the white chocolate cherry cookies were great. Plus around $9.50 including tax and a soft drink or another buck for a beer makes it a great deal. Happy hour was pretty decent, I had a decent burger and the prices were low.

My buddies took me here when I came up to WA to visit. I love the ambience the place had and the food was great. Price was moderate. Tons of parking, maybe different if the movies is going on, but service is great.

I've been going to the Rock for several years now. The pizzas are great. I'm starting to try the pasta dishes and burgers now and they are really good too. Great place to go to right before seeing a movie since its next door. Best time to go is all day Sunday for the half price "Bucket" drinks and it's not as busy as Saturday night .

I went to The Rock for dinner; this is the second time I've eaten there. I ordered the crazy little thing 9 in. pizza, and I think it's actually the best veggie style pizza I've had. The crust is great and they didn't skimp on the toppings. They also have a variety of appetizers, sandwiches and pasta. I love the beer battered fries. I haven't tried their lounge or seen the bathrooms, but every thing else looked clean and well tended. I did have a table that rocked back and forth a bit, but it wasn't that big of a deal to us at the time. I do think that the place is a little understaffed. Both times we've gone there we had to wait a little longer for drinks and our food than we would have liked. The staff was nice and polite, but seemed like they were rushing around trying to do more than just the few people could handle. The whole place has a rock and roll theme but the rock played is family friendly. Many people were there with their little ones so if you don't want to be around kids, you might want to try the lounge. The food is good and it's right next to the theater which is convenient. I would definitely tell my friends to check it out; and I'm sure I'll go back again.

4 stars for the service. There was a slight - and I mean slight - delay in the arrival of one of our dishes (they brought the first two out so they wouldn't get cold) the manager dropped by to apologize. It's great - stuff like this make you feel like the management gives a damn. We didn't feel like we were particularly inconvenienced, but they offered a discount on the late arriving item. Hey - mistakes happen - and when a restaurant goes out of its way to take responsibility for this, it's a breath of fresh air. Had a chicken sandwich which was tasty. So, if upper management reads this, reward your management and waitstaff here. They are doing a bang-up job.

I went here with my fiance, his brother and his brother's fiance a few weeks ago during the holiday weekend. The place was busy, so we had a seat in the bar. It was about 3pm. Anyways, we ordered drinks and our food, no problem there. I had to use the restroom and found out the hard way that they were out of toilet paper. When I had to yell over the ridiculously loud music to the next stall over when someone else came in, we then discovered that the other stall was empty as well. Unacceptable. Anyways, I went back to my table and eventually our food arrived. My fiance's brother and his fiance had pizzas that they both said were quite tasty. My fiance had a wrap that was less than desirable. My burger I had ordered to be cooked medium came out char black. When it was brought to the waitress's attention, she apologized, took my plate (fries included, so I was left with absolutely nothing), and said that they will get me another burger ASAP. That ASAP turned into 20 minutes. By the time my burger came to the table, everyone else was ready to leave. The waitress then brought out our checks and just like another reviewer had said, my fiance and I were given a 10% discount on our meals. Woo hoo. $3 off our piss poor meal. Definitely not worth it. The only reason I am giving it two stars instead of one is because my fiance's brother claims to have liked his food. Don't waste your time here.

The wife took her Grama here recently because it was the most convenient place to Discount Tires. Grama later said, "They Burned It. I would've sent it back. Next time we'll get one from the grocery store." Okay, people. You are dealing with REAL FIRE! It BURNS!

Very poor service. After being seated, I found the table was sticky and was going to ask the server to clean it. After waiting for a server for about 20 to 25 minutes, and being ignored by the servers at booths in our area, we walked out and went to another pizza place in the area. This place has some work to do if they want to retain customers.

Came here for a lunchtime birthday thing with people from work. Had a great time and the food was really good. Was a lot less crowded than I expected for a lunch-time, which allowed us to get our food pretty fast considering there were a dozen of us. Definitely a place to come back to!

It totally sums up this place that they have a microbrewed light beer. It is sort of "Hard Rock Cafe" feel, but with both watery domestic and tasty, brewed-by-FishTales beers. The beer sampler is a deal: 5.25 for 5 or 6 samples. Most were very good. Pizza was good but light on the toppings. Other items have been hit or miss. Service varies from good to authentically stoned. Happy hour is in the bar only.

I love this place. When you walk in you're almost bowled over by the hilarious ROCK N ROLL!!! theme, what with all the faux-brick facade and hair band aesthetics. They serve rum drinks in those plastic beach sand castle buckets and jello shooters in plastic syringes, for cripes sake. So if they're using gimmicks like that of course you don't expect the pizza to be any good. Except that it is. In fact it almost tastes just that much better because you didn't expect it to be. They like to load the pies up with tons of toppings and give them silly names, but you can create your own if something like "Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy" doesn't appeal to you. Their house beers are brewed by Fishtale downtown and are pretty good - a lot less hoppy than the beers they brew under the Fishtale name. And since they want you to buy their beer they don't carry anything by many other breweries, but luckily they've got the basics covered.

First of all let me say that I have only been here for the lunch buffet...I know that will not surprise anyone. They are always packed on the evenings that we walk by here on the way to the Regal Cinema. Lunch buffet -- they make every kind of pizza on their menu and I have heard that if you have a special request, that they will whip it up in no time. Small but nice salad bar, a couple of selections of pasta with sauce, a soup choice, LOTS of pizza hot out of the oven and cookies for dessert. $8.79 + tax includes a drink. Out the door for $9.54 plus tip. Another winner that is especially perfect for that work crowd celebrating a birthday lunch. Service is always great at lunch.

Yeah no. A corporate, pandering feel. Pizza and salad taste good due to the abundance of greasy meats and overall sodium content. One plate of crispy bacon bits over crispy pepperoni and more crispy bacon please! Decent sauce that doesn't take over the pie. Nothing special about the crust. Every song I heard in high school played during our visit. Makes me feel manipulated somehow. Service was perky and attentive. I can't say I won't be back because sometimes the Lacey theater exclusively shows a movie I want to see and it's too damned handy and the margaritas are good. BUT I'll always feel like a bad girl when I visit. Like high school.

Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent everything. Except it is always so loud in there. I have been here multiple times, all on different days at different times. Every time their service was consistent, even the noise. It's not just uncomfortable loud, it's you cannot hear the person on the other side of the booth loud. If I could stand the noise this would be 5 stars. Absolutely the best pizza around.

We went here because it's right next to the movie theater which is convenient and they were open late which is great. The pizza was bad- paper thin and wet in the middle and sloppy with little flavor, the waitress was nice and could tell there was something wrong with our pizza and offered to send it back to the kitchen but we didn't want to wait or make a fuss over it. We also had a beer taster- nothing good there- no delicious beer flavors to report. I like the decor and the late hours but that's about it.

Restaurant overall - 3.5 stars Pizza - 4+ stars - A vast selection of original pizza topping combinations. The wood-fired aspect works very well with their toppings. I have been impressed with nearly every one that I have tried. Beer - 3.5 stars - their own brews are actually pretty good, but it would be nice if there were a wider selection of beers from other breweries Wait in line - 3 stars - Do NOT walk in at 6:00 PM on a Friday or Saturday. But they do sometimes give you free pizza while you wait for a table. This is nice and its something a lot of places would not do. Atmosphere - Over-the-top classic rock theme. A bit too much for me. Not sure why they often set your pizza on a tray separate from the table. They tables are plenty big to hold any of their pizzas, especially when only two people are dining at a table. Prices are not cheap; they are about what you would expect in a city larger than Lacey or Olympia. But hey, its a handy location and the food is good.

It is convenient to our favorite movie theater so we will be back. Nothing more to add about the decorum - it is as described. We had a pasta dish and a pizza. Neither I can remember the names of which tells me it wasn't 'that' memorable. It's too loud for it to be a regular place for me, and I'm an old head banger. I might stop in for a drink before a movie, but check out my reviews for the best pizza in Olympia. Over priced in my opinion. I treated my daughter to lunch and it cost us nearly 50.00 with tip.

Went here a while back with a couple of friends for some quick eats before a movie at Regal Cinemas. We were seated pretty quickly, and our orders were taken pretty quickly. The manager came out and introduced himself and asked how everything was going. Nice touch. The food quality was middling. The pizza was not great, but not bad either. Very average, I'd say - and a little pricey for what one gets. Our check took a while to come. One of my friends (who was an Olympia local) was pretty worried about making it in time to the movie and vowed to complain to the manager. However, the check came and we made it to Regal in time.

Great pizzas. Plenty of good micro brews. Good stuff. You will find at least one specialty pizza that you will like. I can't say much about the sandwiches or salads as I haven't tried them but the looked good as they came by. I recommend the Crazy Train pizza. It's spicy with the right amount of toppings. Right next to the movie theater so sometimes parking can be tight. I would recommend it for pizza and beer.

Went here for a bite to eat before our movie. BF totally happy with choices of beer. I had a BLT and it was the best I have had so far. Love the silly drinks like the bucket and the lavalamp one. Its a cool place. Would go again.

I usually go on my weekday's off for the lunch buffet followed by a movie. Much to my surprise, today there was no buffet, told it's only Wed-Fri now and find out there are new owners? When did all this happen? I'll still go there, just may need to change my schedule a little. Looks like as of now the same servers and kitchen staff.

I have actually been to this place on multiple occasions. My husband and I really enjoyed coming here we brought friends many times. In the past I have always been very impressed by the service and quality of the food. This time however, it was a completely different story. The waiter working in the front suggested that we might sit in the bar since it was open seating so we went ahead and took a seat in the bar. What a terrible idea. The girl who is working in the bar didn't seem to care too much about the people who were sitting there. She seemed eager to start transactions but not to actually follow them through. I had to ask her twice to bring me a water. It wasn't until the guy working up front came by to check on us that I actually got my water. At most places they bring you water automatically without having to be asked. When we got our meal we were both very disappointed in the food as well. Honestly I have had better chicken wraps from Safeway. The chicken was dry, barely warm, and had twice as much sauce as I would have liked. There wasn't nearly enough pulled pork on my husband sandwich either. The girl working in the bar did not check on us once. In fact the best service I got the entire time I was there was from the waiter who wasn't even working in our section. Eventually we were waiting on our check and decided that we didn't want to deal with the girl in the bar and thought we might pay up front so that we might tip the one person who did help us. But as I approached the front she scooted right in front of me eager to cash us out. I was so irritated I didn't want to stay and paid without tipping anyone. To the gentleman working in the front of house Thursday night, good job. To the bartender girl, the kitchen, and the management. Shame on you. This is not how to keep customers.

I went in sat at the bar waiter came over tried to order a drink but the guy said the bartender is outside A girl ended up making a blended drink. At least $7.00 on the menu it.was in a large tall glass but when it came it was in a tiny glass. She also finally took my order because the bartender was still outside probably smoking. I saw him out there when I first came in with another female employee. The service industry has gone to hell. At least the food is beter than the service. The bartender was some small bald guy. He didnt give a damn. Had to get.up and get.my own silverware. I just asked for my check. Brought me back my.change without.a check.

Awesome pizza. They have a shit load of selections but in the inside its like red bricks every where .. I liked it and they brew their own beer and thats a plus. I got this honey wheat beer that was so awesome. They have a selection of white sauce and red sauce selections... I had both. The white sauce is different but I liked it. Parking is big ...

We celebrated my son's birthday here last night. Their no reservations policy made that a little tricky on a Friday at 7:00. Their pizza is good, quite good. Once we got seated the staff really bent over backward to take care of us. The must-try item is cheesy-garlic-brown sugar bread. Yes, it really has garlic, cheese, and plenty of brown sugar. The first time we ordered it, it was just for the novelty. It's really good, though. The 3 star rating is because: 1. I will always choose Brewery City down the street. 2. I think their prices are high. 3. I'm not a big fan of classic rock : )

Its really a 3.5. Good pizza's, good beer and right next to the movie theatre, so you can skip the crappy movie theatre food. Our waiter was pretty cool too. Overall decent pizza joint. The only problem is that it seems to be the place where all the kids with the affliction t-shirts and ugg boots are hanging out, and they seem to like attention... whatever. I probably be back for more soon...
