I went to dinner at Pegasus with a few friends and we ordered multiple appetizers to share as a group. I was extremely disappointed with everything that we ordered except for the salad. The food looked and tasted like previously frozen cafeteria food. The chicken tenders with fire were pretty small and did not have a kick to them at all. The jalepeno poppers also lacked heat and were a little burnt on the edges. The calamari was chewy instead of crispy and came with a dip that tasted like tarter sauce. The pesto cheesy bread lacked flavor and was pretty dry. The only saving grace of the meal was the greek salad, of which is different than your typical greek salad. It contained a creamy dressing and sunflower seeds, which surprisingly blended well with all of the other flavors. Not only was the food sub par, but the atmosphere and service was also shoddy and dull. If you're looking for bland food in a dingy atmosphere, than this is the place for you.

I was very disappointed overall. I came here with a friend today, using a coupon from the 2012 Entertainment Book. Both my friend and I love anything that has to do with pasta. We were thoroughly disappointed, though. The price is standard pasta price, but I don't feel I got my money's worth. The garlic bread was good though. I have a soft spot for garlic breads. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. It was runny, and it was honestly quite bland. My friend ordered a penne pasta dish. She found a hair in her food. That little discovery lost us our appetite. The customer service wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Our server mumbled the entire time. She wasn't friendly, but wasn't rude either. I felt like she came to our table to ask how we're doing more out of obligation (like it's part of her server checklist) rather than from genuine service to the customer. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. We had to go elsewhere to get dessert and cleanse our palate.

Good Pizza and a wide variety of other stuff on the menu to order, a lot more selection than other delivery pizza places.

Just had a meal with the worst, most inattentive service ever. Hope you aren't in a hurry. 45 minutes and hadn't even gotten our cheesebread. Tracked down our server and she said, "The kitchen got busy". Really. There were only TWO OTHER TABLES THERE......and one of them was seated AFTER WE ORDERED.

Review #4 (in my quest for the best Greek meal) This is Italian! Nothing wrong with that but I was not impressed because I was hungry for Greek. But if you are in a mood for pasta with meat sauce then you have come to the right place. Just don't come in looking for Greek. Enough said. Next.

If this isn't your typical 80's pizza place, I don't know what is. Problem is, I don't think they have updated the place since then. The restaurant is dull and worn down. The service seems to match. I had the.... pizza.... and it was.... pizza. On the side I had the pleasure of experiencing a greasy table and a local soccer team birthday party. At least they serve beer. +1 star

In my not so humble opinion, Pegasus is the best delivery pizza available in Bellevue. It's comes hot from Kirkland, and they'll bring it directly to your door (I live in a secured condo building). They have an assortment of other Italian and Greek goodies so whatever my mood there's something to order. Take note, they also take Passport/Prime card which makes this place an unbeatable deal. After ordering delivery the past several years I finally hunted down the actual restaurant. Cute place, very family oriented, with a bar off to the side. Oh, and I LOVE the location on Alki.

Went here with a group of women on 4/21/2012. I ordered a spinach salad. I left before everyone else and went up to the front door and waited to pay. One waitress said my waitress will be with me shortly. Another waitress came and said the same thing. I could see my waitress across the restaurant being told I was waiting. Then I saw her again and again on the far side of the restaurant. She never came up to help me. I put $10 down by the cash register with a note of what I bought (about $8) in front of one of the waitresses that would not take my money and left. Later that night my salad was charged to another woman and they told her I never paid. The waitress was middle-eastern and young. And to think that the woman who was charged for my salad was a regular customer. DON"T GO HERE, THEIR MENU IS NOT THE SAME AS THEIR WEBSITE MENU and THEY SAY ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER, or rather don't do what's asked.

They have a wide assortment of dishes.Pizza ,pasta etc are all really good. The restaurant itself is a little dated. We have it delivered and are always happy with the portions and quality.Try the mac and cheese!

Located just east of Kirkland off 405. This wonderful restaurant has amazing food and fantastic prices. The whole family can dine here with a wide selection of pizza, pasta and salads. I have so many favorites, I can't even begin to list them here. It's my favorite place to sing karaoke in the greater Seattle metropolitan area. The sound system is so awesome that even if you are a bad singer, you'll sound good! It's a second home for many of the regular karaoke singers and pizza lovers. The bartenders, Larissa & Marija make the best drinks ever and have even made up a few new drinks that will knock your socks off. You can't beat their pricing for food or beverages. If you want to drink a coctail, eat an appetizer, be entertained by fantastic singers and have just an all around good time, you'll find it at Pegasus.

I'm writing this on behalf of my sister, whom I spoke to on the phone earlier this evening. Apparently when she goes to hang at my parents' house, she or she & my dad will order something just for convenience's sake and because they actually like the food. However, the last FEW times she has gone to the door to take the delivery and pay for the order, the delivery person has said that they "have no change" to break a $20 bill. The first time, she thought, well maybe he's just starting his shift and hasn't gotten any small bills yet; he left with about $6 in tips on a $14 order. But then it kept happening, and not just with the same delivery person but multiple. She placed her last order with them a few days ago. Same scenario: he handed her the food, told her the total due, she holds up a $20 bill, he says he has no change, yet the total due is only about $12 this time. She says she's not letting him keep all that money and he should come better prepared. He tries to grab the $20 bill from her hand, but she's quicker. She says she'll wait, looking him straight in the eye, and she is not the type to back down. After a few tense seconds, he finally takes out his wallet and flips through a WAD of ones and fives and gives her the appropriate change. Ass. Hole. Maybe not all Pegasus restaurants/delivery drivers are like this. But I know that after hearing that BS, I'll never order from one. Beware, folks.

I am the Karaoke host Thursday and Saturday and I have to say that the last 2 Thursdays have been AWESOME! We have had upwards of 15 really good singers! We can accommodate younger singers as well. They have great food and good service here as well. If you like to sing some karaoke we have shows Thursday and Saturday hosted by me and Friday hosted by Ginnie!

We went here tonight because we were in the area, and our usual haunt was closed. The waitstaff was brisk, confused, and generally unavailable. The glass of wine I ordered was served in an unclean glass, and was presumably rancid. By this point, I was convinced the food would be awful. Then the feta bread came, and it was surprisingly very good. The sunflower seeds were a nice touch. We ordered the eggplant pizza and enjoyed it. It took a long time to get the check, pay, and leave. I probably won't be back, but it was nice to try something new and it wasn't a complete trainwreck.

Entirely out of place in Kirkland. Tasty. I agree with other reviewers: feels like you've stepped in to an 80s-era pizza place in, say, New Jersey. Truly strange place to spend Christmas dinner at: I'd ding them for service but clearly they were on a skeleton staff. The service we did get was friendly and helpful, just wanted more of it! Wings were clearly baked, possibly frozen, but were crisp and flavorful enough to satisfy. The Florentine was a wonderful surprise. Definite Greek notes. Didn't care at all for the pepperoni, the sausage was excellent. Almost no sauce whatsoever on either pizza, but the pepperoni/sausage really suffered. We're planning to go back for another Florentine...possibly the best pizza we've had in the greater Seattle area. Would suggest takeout over eating there: booth was uncomfortable and all of the lighting was orange, lending a surreal tint to the menu (featuring a lot of red text, good luck reading that) and food.

Went to Pegasus when I first moved to Kirkland. My fiancee and I were debating whether to go to grab pizza from a joint like Papa Johns, Garlic Jims or go try out Pegasus. We ended up going to Pegasus hoping to try something authentic, local, and fresh. Boy we were way off. We ordered a eggplant parmesan that tasted like rubber. The waitress recommended the Pegasus special and we took her advice and decided to get a Large one for us so we may have some left-over for another meal. When the pizza came, there were burnt pepperoni on top. The pizza itself didn't look appetizing at all. My fiancee and I each took a bite. WE KEPT HOPING THAT THE NEXT BITE WOULD BE BETTER. But that was not the case. We then took a bite on the crust. It was disgusting. The service was terrible. We waived our hands for 5 minutes and no on came to help at all. We ended up eating half a slice of the Large pizza, two bites from the eggplant parmesan and called it the day. The waitress was nice enough to ask if we would like to pack any of the left over to go and we simply answered, "no". It was a sad experience and we ended up sticking with joint pizza like Papa Johns and Garlic Jims.

For karaoke it's amazing. We dropped in just for a drink and found ourselves in the middle of a remarkable cast of talent. But it was just groups of 2 or 3 people; not a cult. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was good. You should try it.

Pegasus Pizza is not my favorite pizza place, but it's near the top. I'm generally a thick crust, deep-dish pizza type of person, but I still enjoy the pizza at Pegasus which is quite thin. The large pizzas will run you about $20 and will feed 2 fairly easily, and possibly 3 light eaters. The sauce is more on the sweet side rather then spicy, but it is excellent. The toppings and cheese are also excellent. They cook it fairly dark which makes the cheese taste amazing. I'm not a huge fan of the booths here as the benches are too small for two grown adults, but overall I actually like the older style decor and atmosphere. Definitely worth a try if you are in the neighborhood!

Can't comment on the ethics of the delivery boys here, but the food is excellent. I'd highly recommend the feta breadsticks to start, and if you like salad be careful, because the large versions will have you quoting Seinfeld episodes. The house pizza comes with lots of crispy pepperoni and is a big upgrade from the supreme at Pizza Hut. Pegasus rocks.

  • Ken W.

Good pizza and overall variety but the service is very, very lacking. Could easily be 4 stars. If you go...bring something to read, you will be there for a while. I'd recommend Zeek's over Pegasus.

It's ok. I've had their chicken parmesan, but it's awfully greasy and the pasta sauce isn't anything to write home about.

DISGUSTING! Frozen Ellio's pizza is better. We threw it out. It was terrible.

I used to be a big fan of Pegasus loving the vegetarian pizza (with sunflower seeds) and the shrimp salads. Unfortunately, the last few times have not been good. The quality of the food has fallen drastically, while the prices have gone up significantly. Yesterday, we paid 17.99 for a medium pizza that was dry and not fresh. The cheeses which used to be juicy and flavorful were now a dry crust on top of the pizza. The crust itself was no longer golden and doughy but chewy and dried out. It seems to me that they are cooking up pizzas earlier in the day- ready to reheat for later. This is not a good practice. Please go back to how you used to be and I will give you back my business!

Went to dine in on a Sunday night. The place was dead, but I'm surprised, because it was one of the best pizza dining experiences in recent history. Our waitress did not write anything down, but got our half and half pizza, half and half wings, cheese sticks, drinks and brews all correct! Pros: +Appetizers came before dinner and not at the same time +Italian chicken wings were incredible! A light crunch to the skin made them unique from other chicken wings I've had +BBQ chicken wings were not dripping in bbq sauce like the popular chain delivery pizza places we all know of +Quick refills +Thinner crust pizza +Seating arrangement uniqe +Coupons available online to bring in. +Decent brews (African Mac & Jacks is was good) +Cheese sticks were good +Hot marinara sauce +Quick to get food. This is a big one for me: +They put toppings UNDERNEATH the cheese so the toppings are cooked and moist, not on top so that they become dried out and ruined by the time they come to the table. A lot of these things may sound standard, but it is unique for a place to get ALL OF THEM RIGHT simultaneously. Just a great experience. Cons: - After we got our pizza, our waitress did not come back to the table until we were done eating. We didn't have a problem with our food, but there might have been, in which case that could have been worrysome. -Relatively greasy. It had pepperoni so what can you expect. -Mediocre to good flavor of pizza. -Not cheap, especially without coupons -Quiet. could use some music. I'm giving this a 5-star rating based on how they cook the pizza, the quality of the wings, and the presentation and order of the way Pegasus gets things done. Can't wait to eat there again.

We order from this place all the time and its great pizza. They have a great variety of pizza for those who don't just want the usual pizzas.

The Greek salad here is awesome. I also loved the low carb chicken eggplant parm. There were seven of us and we all enjoyed the food and the very attentive service. The waitress maddie was super sweet and took care of everything!! I hadn't been here in awhile and was happy to see they redid the restrooms which had been awfully on my last visit...super nice remodel. Bigger bar makes for a nice place to visit after hours.

My friend Tamber and I were really excited about this place with the cool neon sign and awesome name. The cool thing was we could substitute black olives for artichoke hearts but unfortunately that's where the magic ended. The service was good but the food was very sad. The toppings were the best part but the sauce came out of a can and the crust was very bisquick like. I am a true believer that there in no good food on the eastside sans food trucks.

Had the pizza delivered - 5 pizzas delivered to my work in Kirkland for lunch. The pepperoni pizza tasted very salty and not sweet at all - I love pepperoni pizza and I almost didn't eat this. The Hawaiian was better. The dough for both (the crust on the bottom of the pizza was damp and limp - though the crust on the edge was fine. Normally we get Zeek's and its much better.

Pizza used to be good. I've ordered and recommended this place to a lot of people. But my recent experience was less than mediocre service and quality. My pizza took about an hour to make after they called to inform me that it will be 25 mins until my pizzas are ready. They used onion peels and not decent onions. Who eats this shit? Who eats onion peels and stuff that are cut sloppy? I ordered 3 pizzas there during the superbowl. After everyone taking their first bite of this expensive pizza that costed $80 for all 3, nobody ate another piece or even finish the one they have. I have to serve my guests with other things to eat. I went out of my way to go all the way to Kirkland to get these pizza and to just get trashy pizza. I had to throw away the 3 pizzas i ordered there. What a waste of money. I received bad feedback from my guests that the pizza was horrible. What a horrible experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone anymore. I also would stop going to this place.

I live in Vancouver ,WA but every time I up in the area Pegasus is on my short list. The food is consistently very good, the service very competent and the pizza is memorable Pegasus is in the neat, well balanced pizza. If you like your pizza heaped with meat and grease dripping down your arms, go to Flying Pie Pizza. Their great and I have a great write up for them, but I also can appreciate Pizzas that are reduced in quantity; that are well balanced with crust, sauce, meats and veggies; neat and clean. Such is the case with Pegasus. By the way the Greek salad is wonderful something I'm not usually concerned with when great pizza is coming.

Longtime customer!! OMG I absolutely love this place. When I lived in Kirkland, I probably ordered delivery from this place once a week. They have a unique way of doing their pizza where the toppings are on the bottom and covered with cheddar cheese which I like. I also love their dinner salads and are a huge fan of their ranch dressing. Yep, that's right, I said ranch dressing. Another favorite on their menu is the chicken fingers of fire. Overall this place has a great classic Pizza and Pasta menu. You can get pizza, pasta, chicken wings, salads, sandwiches, soups, and dessert. They also have a good happy hour which includes cheap appetizers.

Pegasus reminds me of back in the day when my aunt would take us and the cousins to Alfy's! It's a casual sit down pizza place with casual pizza and pasta. Nothing super, fancy, or amazing, but okay. We got a group together to grab dinner before bowling and ordered the Greek salad (mostly lettuce with "Greek" toppings), Alki pizza, another pizza which I can't remember now, chicken pesto pasta (which was fairly bland) and breadsticks. The pizza was okay - at least it wasn't greasy! The breadsticks were good and not greasy either.

Not a great customer service or dining experience. Drink don't eat unless you must. The bar picture window actually looks directly at the Baskin Robbins next door 20 feet away.. Way to weird to be tanking a brew while looking at the young uninitiated ice cream newbie's next store. Way to weird a landscape. The window is mirrored from the Baskin side. Keep the kids at home until they black out that window. Skip this place unless a Karaoke die hard. The food sucks and so does the service.

This place is a joke. They gave us a free pizza as a welcome gift to the neighborhood. The pizza was horrible, supersalty and gross. Not the greatest marketing strategy. LOL!

i like this place because they deliver to my house and have a great pizza. ive tried there pasta and it all sucks... but the pizza is very very good. i think they have karaoke on thurs or fridays, which i have been in for and it seems like a nice crowd. 5 stars for the pizza and 3 for the service and 0 for the pasta. so a nice little blended score of 3.5 try the pie though and you wont be dissapointed.

8/14/11 Not going to waste a bunch of time on this. Worst food and service EVER!! Took 3 bites and no flavor in the food and if you complain about the owner will come out and say "what is problem with food"? I said that there was no taste to it? She replied by saying " I cannot do anything to the food it is what it is and I'm the owner". Bill time came didn't even comp or discounted at least 10% of anything. Bring you're own water! The water tastes like toilet! Whatever you do try and avoid this place at all cost!

I refuse to order from these guys ever again--switched to Garlic Jim's as they are the only other pizza place I could find around here that makes gluten-free crust. Three times I ordered from them, 3 times they screwed up my order. The worst Greek pizza I've ever had--completely tasteless. The first time, they literally got 95% of the toppings wrong. Second time, the pizza was burnt. All 3 times, it took them over an hour to deliver the pizza. The third time the pizza was cold AND burnt (and if you have ever eaten gluten-free crust cold, it's horrible!). I called them, and the wait staff were rude, did not care and were like, "well, I don't know what you want us to do about it". I asked to speak to the manager and they just said that the manager wouldn't be in until the following week. No apologies or offer to give me the pizza for free or at least a discount. Awful service, awful food.

Good food and you can usually find a coupon to get a great deal. I've eaten there many times and also been late at night for drinks. It's always a pretty quiet place, waiters take your orders then disappear till you need them. The portions are large and the food is always decent - my favorites include the BBQ chicken sandwich, white spaghetti, or the pizzas. I'll be going back!

I would say the food was mediocre at best. I had pasta and my friend had pizza and niether of us were that pleased. Also the service was just OK. We had to get the waitresses attention for refills.

I am really glad that my husband and I gave this place a try - as this area seems to be lacking in good Italian fare. It's not much to look at when you pass by, but we've never been ones to reject a place based on looks. The inside reminds me of how I'd envision a 1980s New Jersey pizza parlor/Italian restaurant. There are plenty of tables though, so you rarely have to wait long to be seated. The portions are large, the selection is wide - it tastes like comfort food, which is something I believe this area is lacking. While Pegasus will never win innovative culinary awards - it is a great place for when you are looking for a simple, filling meal. The prices are fair and it it hard to go hungry. I recommend the spaghetti with meatballs, the salmon ravioli or one of their meaty pizzas. My only major gripe with Pegasus is while very nice, the servers all seem to forget about you after they serve your food. If you want refills, dessert or the check, you are more than likely going to have to hunt them down. It's almost become a joke with us as to how long it'll take for them to bring the check! We definitely keep coming back though because we enjoy the simplicity and "comfort value" of the food. Don't pass this place by!

Dark, noisy, mediocre food and poor service all confirmed the impression I had of this place from the outside. I've driven by for many years without entertaining the idea of trying it out until this week. It may be many years more before I give it another try. It would have been nice to have been offered some water after I'd finished the mixed drink I ordered. Or even to have seen the waitress to be able to ask for some.

The pizza was pretty good, but the service not so much. My boyfriend and I came here, and the waitress barely came to our table. We were waiting for 5 minutes + for refills on water.

We are always looking for good restaurants that are conveniently located along our commute route. We thought we'd give Pegasus Pizza a try so we called to place a "to go" order. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccini alfredo, margherita pizza, and cheese bread. Although their prices are reasonable and the food is okay, this place isn't very good overall. The place is run down and dirty inside and out. When you walk inside there is a greeter stand that is almost as tall as I am (5' 8") so you can barely see the person who is greeting you. We were handed a mish mash of brown bags with some food standing upright and some that had to be kept flat. I didn't realize until I got home that we didn't even get the margherita pizza (thankfully we weren't charged for it, either!) The fettuccini alfredo was bland and seemed like a TV dinner rather than a restaurant-cooked dish. The spaghetti and meatballs and cheese bread were pretty good. We thought this place might be a diamond in the rough, but that is not the case.

Came here for lunch today thanks to the LivingSocial coupon. Having read the negative reviews about the new management and poor service I had rather low expectations. The service wasn't actually bad at all. We did have to wait about 10 minutes to get our pizza (even though I called in advance), but the waitress was supper friendly and kept apologizing for the wait. When we got our order, though, it was definitely worth the wait. We had one Greek (we asked for no meat) and one plain cheese pizza and both were really good. The crust was delicious and the pizzas themselves were not greasy as you would typically expect from regular pizzerias. Will come back!

Got delivery from Pegasus. Calzone was OK, ingredients were high quality, and it was cooked well, but nothing special. Crust was a little lacking in something. BBQ chicken sub was meh. While the chicken tasted fine, I would have preferred to have it in larger chunks, the pieces were quite small and the BBQ sauce a bit much. BBQ sauce taste-wise was OK, but could be better. Bread was good though, I will try another flavoring in the future. Fingers of fire though, they were pretty good, although not spicy at all and a little too bready in some spots. Definitely the best delivery in the area that I have found so far, especially the chicken fingers. Why, oh why, is it so hard to find good chicken fingers? Why can't a restaurant deliver good old breaded & fried chicken pieces?

  • Alicia C.

The people that work there are extremely rude... they don't seem to care too much about their customer's satisfaction, and the delivery guy isn't that great either. Not to mention, ordering from previous occasions, they have always messed something up. this time they brought me a medium pizza when i ordered a small, not to mention when i called them to explain what happed, all they said was that i should have seen the error when i signed the receipt, and all they were able to do is deduct the tip i gave, a whopping 2 dollars when i should have been reimbursed around 6. Not that big of a money issue but it was the way they handled it that really pissed me off. They have lost about 5 customers due to this one experience.

I have not visit Pegasus in Kirkland for so long. Tonight, I revisited. Business is very slow. Dinner time, there was zero table. After us, there were two more tables. Anyway, I order the House Special Pizza. It was .... filled with over cook bacon in not-a-good way. The Greek salad was lack of flavor. I wish I can say something nice about their food at this difficult time. Romio's offers much better pizza and salad.

The pizza is unique with the cheese covering the toppings. The cheese was slightly overdone on my pepperoni pizza and the crust is thin with a light pizza sauce. The service is ok. I liked the thin crust and light pizza sauce.

We read the other Yelp reviews, and decided to check-out this place in spite of mixed reviews. (It was raining pretty hard, and the place was close by.) We were quite pleasantly surprised. The food was wonderful (we'll be going back), the service was polite and quick (or as quick as you can get when you order a pizza) and the tiffany lamps added a fun touch to the decor. A very comfortable, clean, casual and cozy place. Yes, the place looks like a seedy dockside dive from the outside, and the Karaoke advertisements were off-putting (we're not fans). But if you don't like Karaoke, just sit in the main restaurant area, away from the bar.

Ok, I can't review the actual resturant part of Pegasus, but the food and the bar is great! I live in Seattle, so it's a bit of a drive to get to this place. It's my mom's favorite bar and she's always wanted me to come sing karaoke with her friends there. I've been about 4 times now, and each time was great, the bartenders rock, and the karaoke djs are friendly. There are the regulars who sing really well, theme rounds, and a handful of new people like me. Again, the bartenders are awesome, they always make me a delicious drink, and they can make them pretty hard too. One of the bartenders actually drove my mother to the hospital one time when she had a wine glass accidentally break on her. The food is so good here too. I've had their salads (which are my favorite salads) and their cheese bread is dangerously good. Their pizza I've only had once, but again it was great! The prices aren't bad either.

I am a Thursday night guy for an awesome late dinner and karaoke fun with people that can sing and enjoy listening to good singers. Not all sing but they come back because the enjoy listening and don't have to listen to a lot of poor voices. Of all the places I have gone to sing this is the best, small room good sound system that they dial in to the singer. Rotation is not usually to long but when it is the house is jamming with good singers. If you like to sing come out and join us on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. The food is great and I recommend you try one of their dinner salads or a specialty pizza. My favorites are the chicken cob salad or the chicken pesto pizza either are full meals. If you got a voice they would like to hear it! As you can see I spend my time in the cheers type atmosphere of the bar but They have a full restaurant as well! BM

Most of the food here is decent to pretty good. The pizzas are nice and the grinders are quite tasty. I also like the chicken parmesan, it's a huge portion too. The service is a bit bipolar though, some visits the staff is quick and helpful, other times they seem like you are just a nuisance to them. My fiance and I went for a drink in the bar one night, and sat at the bar for 20 minutes waiting for the bartender to wait on us. We finally gave up and left, and as we were walking out I told what I thought was the maitre'd "you should tell the bartender to check the bar once in a while" to which I got the snotty reply back "I AM the bartender, I was just really busy." Um, busy doing what? It sure as hell wasn't tending the bar. We never saw you in there ONCE. And there were only about six people dining in the entire restaurant so it couldn't have been that.

If you can get passed the aging decor, the food is really good! It's the definition of comfort food. If you're looking for extravagant this isn't exactly the place, it's more like getting a home-cooked meal. I love the tortellini special and the carbonara here! The service is good but you may end up having to chase down your waitress after ordering if you need anything.

Only gave 1 start because I had to give at least 1....but it is actually NO STARS! Absolutely horrible. This place is a mess. They lie to you right to your face. When they get caught they lie to you again. I like SOME of their food, but they keep changing it and making it go down hill. The place is run down and uncomfortable. They lure you in with Groupon and Restaurant.com coupons and then say that you can't use them when you get there. They just say they no longer accept them. I've given them a fair shot, tried several times, but today...lying to me. I'm done. Was in restaurant one time, sat and waited for 20 mins for a waiter. Only one other table was in the dining room. So I walked into the bar called the restaurant. When they answered I asked if I could place my order. They eagerly agreed and then I told them I was waiting in the bar after waiting in the dining room for 20 min. I still staying in the bar waiting for them to wait on me. When they finally DECIDED to wait on me, I told them I just wanted the manager to call me. The manager never did. Tonight, I asked to talk to the manager...several people lied about being the manager and the owner. Suddenly the manager got on the phone. Wouldn't let me say a word. Just lied to me directly. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE FROM A RESTAURANT!!!!

Food is outstanding. We came here with a Groupon on Saturday early evening. Good service. We sat outside with our two dogs, not a problem. Food is not the standard Italian fare but rather tastes like home cooked. I had the fettuccine carbonara which to my surprise had fresh diced tomatoes and mushroom added. Generous portions at fair price.

Ordered two pizzas from Pegasus Pizza through yelp received email confirmation but no pizza. Next day I spoke with three people at Pegasus at three separate times, none of which could find my order or offered to correct situation when I mailed them copies of my receipt. How can you give a review about the food when the service is so poor and management so handicap - unable to recognize an opportunity to keep a customer happy instead of losing a customer and having another bad review.

Had dinner here tonight and was pleasantly surprised since the reviews didn't look all that promising but had to use the Groupon I accidentally purchased. My daughter and her husband were with us and said the gluten free crust was the best they've ever had. I ordered normal crust and it was good. The House Special Pizza with shredded pepperoni was very good and so was the Greek salad we ordered. The service was't great but the pizza and company made up for it. I'm glad I accidentally purchased this Groupon and will eat here again.

Just awkward. I have been here many times in the past 10 years. Every time I enter the establishment I feel like there is a cloud of discontent from the employees. None of them have ever been rude, but I just feel like everyone of them hates it there. Recently they remodeled the dining area to make it more open. I agree with the concept of making the restaurant a more social environment, but their execution was poor. It looks like a Muppet threw up all over the walls. Sorry, a bit harsh but I can't think of another way to describe it. The food has always been decent. Over-priced, but not bad.

I really wish Pegasus could have been a better restaurant, because I would totally come here more often if the place were decent. Unfortunately, this restaurant served me painfully average food, even if everything else was okay. It's not a bad place, although I can't really say I recommend them. My first problem with the restaurant is the weird hours during which they're open. They simply do not have lunch on Mondays-Wednesdays, and so they open at 4:00 PM on those days. I had to find that out the hard way, and it's annoying that they eliminate an entire meal for three days of the week and can't keep a consistent schedule. On the Thursday of my visit, I ordered two items from their lunch special menu. They had the choice of either soup or salad as a side with these items, so I got them both to be able to compare the two. Both appetizers came to my table in three minutes, but neither one was particularly remarkable. Their spaghetti had marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese, and garlic bread on the side. This stuff is so basic that I could have easily made it myself, but I wouldn't have made the tiny portions that they served me. At least it only took them seven minutes and cost $6.95. Their super sub sandwich wasn't any better. For $7.50, I treated myself to a greasy sandwich of Canadian-style bacon, salami, and pepperoni. This was basically a mediocre pizza in sandwich form. It's quite telling about the quality of this restaurant when pizzas are the other thing they specialize in aside from pasta, and they can't even get that right. It's also annoying that their lunch specials have to be so small. They may be cheap, but this is deceptive because they're tiny and it took two of them to fill me up. The waitress was nice, but it takes more than that to convince me that a restaurant is anything worth trying more than once.

Went here after work to get some pizza and a beer. I went into the bar area, and there were 5 people seated directly at the bar. I sat at the table just behind the bar but didn't get any service for 10 minutes (shift change?), so I went to the restaurant section. Told the hostess/server I was getting no service in the bar so I'd try the other section. "Sorry," she replied then seated me. Ordered a pizza with pepperoni, shredded pepperoni, and bacon (yeah, I'm on a health kick). It came out with pepperoni and shredded pepperoni. Where's my bacon? The server didn't bother to check on me afterwards until I was ready for to cash out, even though there were no more than four other people in the restaurant. I pointed to the pieces that were remaining and said they apparently forgot the bacon. She pointed to a pink slice of meat and said they had put Canadian bacon on instead. I said I ordered bacon, not Canadian bacon. "Sorry," she said. Looking at the receipt, it said pepperoni, shredded pepperoni, and Canadian bacon. Guess she knew better than me what I wanted. No offer whatsoever to take the incorrect topping off the bill. And by "topping", I mean not even enough slices that I noticed Canadian bacon was mixed in with the pepperoni. Paid for the pizza and left. As for the server, who may have been expecting a tip? "Sorry." See? I can play that game too.

My first experience, ordered togo a MANICOTTI Two large pasta rolls filled with blended cheeses. Instead I got CANNELLONI which is filled with meat. I'm a vegetarian, so by the time it took me to drive home 30 minutes, I was hungry and disappointed. The garlic bread was great, but this is not what I order. Called them, they refunded my order and promised I would get my free Manicotti on my next visit. Well, I did receive my refund. Second time around, When i had called to order togo. I waited 10 minutes just to get a togo order. Dispointing the second time, even before stepping in the door to get my food. Where is anyone that I have to wait on the phone for 10 minutes to order togo? It only takes less than 1 minute to get my togo order. Finally I got my order in, yes it was free as they promised. I hate to judge a place when I only been there once, to be fair I would like to give them a second chance. I do love their garlic bread very tasty and fresh. I order just the garlic beard as an extra. I'm happy the way the responded to my complaint. There are things that could be better in not making customers wait too long to order togo. Food is decent based on my garlic bread. The pasta that I have been waiting for could have been better.

Poor experience trying to use Groupons at this location. The place was empty and not inviting. Traveled from West Seattle and was not worth it. This location appears rundown. New management did not help this event. Will stick to the Alki location.

Decided to give this place a try since most of the bad reviews were on service & not the food. And I have to say I'm glad I went for it, this place is great! The house special pizza is amazing!

I came in with two friends for pizza and beer one evening this last week. The restaurant is divided into two parts, separating the "bar" from the "restaurant" side. There was karaoke going on in the bar, and we enjoyed the quality people-watching and the sweet harmony of drunken karaoke with ice cold brewskis and delicious pizza. Our waitress was prompt and friendly, and when I asked her what they had on tap, she began to recite the extremely long list they have available. If we ever attend the ultimate frisbee potlatch tournament again, we shall return to Pegasus and would recommend to friends. Prices were reasonable, and had a large menu.

I think one star is more than this place deserves. When you pay $20 for a cheese pizza you are expecting something great. The cheese pizza here was soaked with grease and way over cooked. You could tell they had used a cheddar and mozzarella blend but that is not stated on the menu. If that we're not bad enough they sprinkled some kind of seasoning on top of the over cooked grease pie that has seeds in it. Major Fail!! Save yourself $20 and go to Little Caesars across the street at least there you get what you pay for.

Limited overpriced menu and uninviting atmosphere with bare concrete floors. The veggie pizza was uninspiring and not worth the $20 bucks. If you are up for a good veggie pizza, check out the Gorgonzola Gourmet at Romio's in Kirkland. You won't be disappointed.

Awful, horrible experience. We have eaten at Pegasus many times over the years. It had been a while since we've been there. They remodeled and the floors are concrete which only amplified the horrific karoke singing they had going at 5:30 on a Sunday evening. The person running the machine had his young child running around in t-shirt and pull up diaper, with his hands down his diaper most of the time. The music was so loud that we could not even talk to the person next to us. It appears the karoke host's family were the only ones in the restaurant when we got there, and they each took turns singing!! We had a round table and had planned to visit with our two granddaughters (18 and 20) and their parents. No one could talk or be heard. My son approached the manager - a man in a dirty oversized torn t-shirt over his very baggy, also dirty jeans with a rag hanging out of his pocket. He said two more songs and they are done... it was 4!! He delivered our Greek salad, with too much dressing on it, and I took one look at him and didn't want to eat it. I didn't think he had washed his hands before delivering it... or perhaps did and wiped them on his shirt. Pretty disgusting. Next (before the music ended) came the large party of friends and their daughters - all around 10 or 12. the parents brought their own wine and had a party of their own, while the daughters (about 8 of them) ran in and out the door to the patio. I had to get up and close it once and put up with it the rest of the time. Music stops, and the parents and girls get loud as well. We could not talk to each other, or visit. The pizza was delivered quickly (thank goodness) and we literally gobbled it down and left. I had hoped to have a nice evening visiting with my granddaughters and the only time we could hear anything was out in the parking lot. Oh, and when the karoke stopped, the manager -- rag still hanging out of his pocket -- set up the poker tables. No money, so I guess it's okay. So within a 5 foot radius of our round table we had the long table with girls and parents partying (not sitting by the way, but standing and drinking and running around); and two poker tables. I thought I was in a circus or bad dream. Pizza is good as it always has been, but I will never ever eat there again. I will, however, order take-out!!!

We go to the Alki beach location every time we are in Seattle, so my hubby was more that thrilled to find another location. I'm not sure who runs this location but this place is a mess. The outside has junk all around the building, which is ran down looking. Looking beyond the out dated decor the place is dirty. There are layers of dust on the booths. One booth was filled with someone's lunch from McDonalds and Resturant supplies. There is food and drunk and God knows what else spilled down the walls, this place needs a DEEP cleaning. If it were not for my hubby being so excited I would have walked out. The service is slow, so if you are in a hurry plan a visit here another time. You can tell they order from the same supplier because the pizza virtually tasty the same as the other location. I would say the sauce here tasted more like tomatoes than the other location. All in all the service and the condition of the Resturant took away from the food. We will not return to this location again.

Horrrrrrrrible. Seriously one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Some co-workers and I met here for lunch at 12:30. There were 3 of us, total. The server asked us if we would be splitting the checks, and we answered yes. She sighed deeply and looked extremely annoyed, then let us know that it was only her 4th day on the job and it would be really hard for her and she was the only person working the lunch rush (what the hell?) and blah blah blah. We all ordered the same thing: mini-pizza and a salad. It took an HOUR to get our salad, and we had to ask for our pizzas to go. She responded to that request with, "well, I warned you!". Excuse me? Pegasus Pizza has been around for how many years now? We made the mistake of assuming they'd know how to manage a lunch schedule. If I had known that the pizza was going to be so greasy and disgusting, I never would have stepped foot in that restaurant. I had one slice and threw the rest away. Awful, awful. The health inspector arrived during our meal, and I would not be surprised if the place was shut down tomorrow. Seriously, gross food and dramatic service. Do not go here if you can help it.

This was the soggiest, greasiest pizzas we have EVER gotten. The large pizza was pretty small for being almost $20 and the medium pizza was tiny. We took pictures of the grease pits we received, nasty. Bummer too, we used to love this place for the flavorful food but since it switched ownership, it's gone downhill :(

Decided to stop by and try this place out as I had a $10 restaurant.com certificate to use and the Seahawks game was on. Had to try harder than necessary just to try and get a drink and place a food order as they were busy socializing and watching the game. Food was what you'd expect from a bar I guess...cheesy bread wasn't too bad. The meatball grinder and French fries however were pretty bland and didn't have much flavor, guessing they keep most of their product frozen. Upon getting the check I attempted to use my restaurant.com voucher and was told this was only useable for dinner meals only and not lunch (this is the case for groupon... No restrictions are listed on restaurant.com other than having to spend a minimum of $20 to use the $10 voucher).

FOOD: Decent pizza but very salty. Fair amount of toppings, good crust. Good amount of cheese, not too greasy. DELIVERY: Fast, happily surprised. PRICE: High for this quality pizza, but not too overpriced compared to competitors. SERVICE: Courteous. MENU: Great selection.

This is definitely not the same owners as the Alki location. I have been here several times over the years but this will be the last time. Service was horrendous. In all fairness, there could have been a language barrier. There was 16 of us celebrating a birthday for dinner. We were seated in the dining area with 4 other tables occupied and 2 waitresses. Things got off to a rocky start when my brother asked the waitress what was on draft? She mentioned Bud Lite which he said he would have. When he asked for another, she brought out a bottle. He told her he preferred draft beer and the price difference. We ordered three salads and three pizzas which were fine. She just kept forgetting to fill our water glasses when asked. I had to ask her three times. I should have just asked for a pitcher of water to be placed on the table. When we asked if we could have extra forks for the cake, she brought out plates which we already had. I went to the bar and kitchen to ask for forks. It took 5 minutes to find 10 forks. I felt like the 18% gratuity already added to the bill stopped her from performing her job. That will be the last time going to this location.

New management???! WHY??? We used to go to this place quite a bit and always found it good. We had not been for a while and got a notice that said it was under "new management". Thought we would give it a try to see what had changed........... Well, here is what we found: lousy, slow service; wait staff with hair hanging down their front, practically to the waist(real appetizing) ; beer that was hideous and it was acknowledged that it was a "bad batch". I honestly felt nauseated after taking one sip. To continue - wrong salad and mediocre pizza. Too many other excellent pizza/pasta places around, to ever waste any time here. Because of the SLOW service, we wasted almost two hours AND we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were told the "new owners" were sitting in the bar, but they could not take the time to come out and talk to patrons. Upon exiting the restaurant, one of the owners was at the register, with his back to us. We said hello and he totally ignored us. In addition, there were only two people in the bar (probably the "new owners" NOT GOING BACk!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like the food here, I think the greek style of pizza they serve is amazing. Sadly, the service is really slow. How have I never written a review for this place? I'm slacking, obviously. Get the Greek pizza, and change out the beef for kalamata olives. Yummy!! They have a lot of options for food, and their drinks are usually strong. Go for karaoke, but make sure you actually call to confirm when they're doing it. The website is wrong, as I learned the hard way.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and it has always been my go to Italian place...until yesterday. I ordered a salad and meatball dish which is a usual for me. I also ordered a pizza to take home. Service was slow and I assumed it was due to a remodel. I took a bite of my salad, there was something weird in the bite. I assumed it was a sprig of rosemary....and then on the last bite I bit down on something that got stuck in my tooth filling. I spat the food out and it was a paper STAPLE! I assume the first bite was a staple as well that I actually swallowed. I stood up and took the plate to the waitress and asked her if there was a stapler over the salad prep area. She said yes. I said, you need to move it, I swallowed a staple and here is another on the plate. She looked at the plate and said it was unacceptable. She walked away with the plate with no other comment. I sat there wondering if I should want to eat the next dish. She brought it out. It was sub par compared to the dishes I had ordered in the past. She ignored our table until bringing the check with a four dollar discount. She also didn't bring the pizza I ordered out. There was no apology from management or anything resembling regret that I ingested a non food item due to carelessness. I was disappointed and disgusted with a restaurant I had been coming to for years. You have lost my business AND my stomach is upset because I am trying to pass the staple. Thanks.

This place was horrible. HORRIBLE. I just got back home from here and I'm considering jamming fingers down the back of my throat to get the disgusting food out of me. If I could give it negative stars, I would. I ordered the chicken and eggplant parmesan dish and my friends ordered pizza. Both were revolting. Let's start with the pizza. I had one piece. It was greasy on top, on the bottom, in the middle. The cheese and other toppings were completely tasteless. Greasy dough plus salt was all it was. It's pretty bad when Domino's has better tasting pizza and fresher ingredients than you. Next? I asked the server if the parmesan was super greasy. I know that normally that stuff is fried, but you when you fry in really hot oil, the food absorbs less oil, and you can also drain the oil off well. I was told that it's not greasy. Um. Lie. It was HORRID. Tasteless strips of chicken, sitting in a mixture of grease and I-can-shit-tastier tomato sauce SMOTHERED in cheese with two super thin wispy slices of shriveled eggplant. WORST THING I'VE TASTED IN YEARS. I ate the eggplant and about 3 pieces of chicken. Here's the thing.. I feel sick to my stomach right now. Seriously like I'm about to vomit or something else, either way I feel like I'll be parked at a toilet for a while. Honestly? I hope I did get some mild food poisoning because if I'm crapping all this stuff out, then it means the horrid stuff they have the nerve to call food and charge $13 for will just leave my body that much sooner. Need a meal that's better than Pegasus?? Head down the street to Safeway and pick up a MICROWAVE MEAL - I guarantee it will taste better, have just about the same nutritional level, and it will be cheaper, and the ingredients might even be fresher.

Ugh.... Drove over to Redmond and on the way there I spotted this place, sadly I didn't have any Internet access to Yelp this place prior to stopping on the way back home. Seriously, something is lacking here, if I had to guess, it would be....the lack of keeping up with the times! Interior was dusty and full of stained glass this and that, most of which was covered in dust. Similar to the food actually.... Menu was "Italian" with "Greek" style pizza and pasta, the menu even gave the details of who and what Pegasus is and was... I think the food was of the same era by the way. Tired looking help and a very tired looking menu, we ended up ordering 2 salads, a pasta dish and a small pizza, which came to almost $50 including tip, I think I over tipped by the way. For three people this was way too expensive, I see why they were almost empty on a Friday night during the dinner "rush". My pizza was "deep dish-ish", a thicker crust, but only the outside crust had risen, the bottom side of the pizza was totally flat, topped with greasy pepperoni and a cheese topping, it dripped all over the place, including my t-shirt, ugh... The restroom report doesn't fair very well either. The Men's room stunk to high heaven, even flies wouldn't go in there. I had to hold my breath and sprint in and out, yes, I washed my hands... I can't say much for the Women's room, but I'd guess it had a similar "kick" to it.... Ugh...just plain, ugh... Two stars, 1 because I have to, and the second for the parking...I mean we were in Kirkland...

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
