What a pleasant experience tonight. We were greeted right away with a smile, water and menus. It's so nice and clean and bonus the food is fabulous! The service was great! The owner came to our table several times making sure we were satisfied. We've been coming here for years off and on. This is by far the best Thai I've eaten. Try it! You'll be pleasantly surprised.

This place has great food & great service! Our server had a smile on her face the entire time and was extremely accommodating. We had no complaints even from the kids. Thank you!

This used to be my go to spot for Thai Food, but lately the food has gone downhill. The portion sizes are getting smaller while prices are getting higher. The food quality has diminished as well. The food has no flavor and noodles are dried out and hard. Any dish that has meat in it will come with only a couple small pieces of meat and too many veggies. Seems like they are really trying to cut cost lately. Total bummer too, because it was nice to have a great Thai place so close to home.

Stopped by today on the way home from a long weekend. Very quaint small restaurant. We had Tom Kha soup, Pad Thai and Crispy Chicken. All were outstanding. The thai fried rice, not so much (not bad, just not up to the other dishes), but in truth, who goes to Thai for fried rice? We are a fan, and will definitely be back. Good service, good food, modest prices, All in all a very nice experience.

We got chicken pad Thai, chicken cashew something and spring rolls. All of it was amazing! Only problem was the drink selection; no alcohol (yet, apparently) and no juice of any kind (sorry but kids can't drink soda).

This place used to be D'Jung Thai--which I loved and rated 5 stars. Recently, I sadly discovered that D'Jung closed down and a new restaurant (under new management) emerged--Ting Tong Thai Cafe. I was really disappointed in the food. The lady who took my order (very nice lady, albeit) said that the menu items are the same with the same recipe... No. It was different. I ordered 2 items that I frequently purchase from D'Jung. It tasted nothing like it: The Garlic Chicken with Brocoli was intensely bitter. Like, it was not even salty nor bland--I'd have preferred either of the mentioned. But you can't fix bitter. The Chicken Pad See Ew noodles were very mushy--like mashed potatoes. The physical appearance looked like flat noodles but once I bit into it, it literally just dissolved in my mouth. The white rice that they gave me was cooked fine--but how can any asian restaurant mess up white rice? I gave them 2 stars because of the nice cashier and the white rice. Other than that, if you are expecting food from the same caliber of the previous restaurant D'Jung--don't hold your breath

Excellent customer service. Orders received quickly. The Chicken Satay with Cucumber Salad as well as the Vege Pad Thai are delicious. Portions are good size.

I've been here several times, it's pretty good, and reasonable priced! It's not my absolute favorite Thai place but it is pretty good and close to home. The gals up front and so nice and kind too, always offer me a glass of water while I wait for take out.

Hands down the best Thai food in Kent. Went there with my fiance, and we had Chicken Satay, Panang Curry, and the Garlic Garlic Chicken. All of it was delicious and served promptly. The Panang Curry was especially good -- some of the best I've ever had. The menu looks to be expanded and so are their hours (no longer closed between lunch and dinner). Great if you need a late lunch. Don't hesitate to try it! You won't be disappointed.

  • Cindy N.

Excellent food, good customer service what else can you ask for? We ordered to go since we were too tired after a long day in seattle. The panang curry and pad Thai were delicious! Highly recommend those dishes! Even thinking about it now makes my mouth water. If I were ever in the kent area again I would def come back to this joint!

Lunch. 2 people. Pad See Ew and Green Curry. PRO Nice white guy who was our waiter Good food in general Reasonable price $8 lunch Complimentary mints CON Small portions (compared to other Thai places I've been to) Lunch combo only available M to F No unique taste Neutral: Layout is weird. Two sides and restrooms in the middle in front of the chefs. No carrots in Pad See Ew

Love this place simply because the owners are so sweet and genuine. I usually go in the evening with my little family & we're always greeted by the mom & grandma. They love kids and are very interactive with mine, which is a plus because my kids love attention. As far as the food, I personally like it. Better than a lot of other places that I've tried. I've recommended it to some friends & I've heard great feedback.

Mmmmmm the beef and veggies were great! The veggies and tofu were delicious. The service was excellent. The lady forgot some of my order, but quickly rectified and apologized.

I came here a week ago on a whim and I'm glad I did. This place is kind of hard to find if you aren't looking, but there aren't too many Thai restaurants around so if you're in the mood for Thai, your eye should catch it. The restaurant is kind of small and tight, but the owners are incredibly nice. I ordered for pick-up and was immediately greeted with a smile. It's great service like this that makes me love these local restaurants. I think there was an issue with their card reader that day as they had to manually process the card transactions. The Pad Kee Mao (Chicken, 4 Star) was bland tasting compared to other places I've been to but was a decent sized portion. The Panang Curry on the other hand, is freakin' delicious. Hot, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that has the perfect amount of sweetness. I probably should've had a 5 star as the food wasn't particularly spicy. It'll run you about a little less than $10 for an entree and I say that's quite fair. Also, I think this is the only place that I've ordered from that gave me steamed rice without asking for it. Pros: - Great service - Panang Curry - Fairly priced Cons: - Kee Mao was bland - May be tight if you're eating in and there's a lot of people Pro tip: - 4 stars isn't that spicy so go for more!

Definitely coming back to this place! Impressed with all the flavors! First bite and we were "yummmmm" and was VERY unexpectedly surprised! Just happy that it's close by my house! Best of all? The price is awesome! Definitely beats restaurant with too much fanciness... And we always get burned from those places!

  • Nep S.

They're always so nice, the food is always fresh and the location is easy to get to (for me anyhow). The pad prik khing dish is really good and so is the Thai steak salad! The only dish I didn't quite enjoy as much as I had hoped was the rama noodle (showering rama with wide rice noodled). The peanut sauce was good, but not great. But then again I love peanut sauce so I tend to be critical of it! If you go in, even if it's to-go, they waste no time greeting you, offering you a drink, and getting you comfortable. I've never been in there when it's too full to find a seat, even just to wait, which is disappointing because they deserve more business. I have been, and will continue to be a repeat customer! Sooo good!

  • Ahmad R.

Had the tom kha soup, turns out it's really good. The owner/server/cashier let us try our soup and phad Thai to make sure that we liked it before we took it. I've never had a 'new' restaurant care so much, but that was pretty cool. Their food needed more flavoring and wasn't the 'medium' that we ordered.

    (4)
  • Neil B.

Love this place!! Close to our house food is always on point and everyone is so nice. Will always come back.

    (5)
  • Dan C.

Standard Thai dishes, tucked away and somewhat hard to locate. It's near a Safeway and Pet clinic. You are more likely able to spot the nearby Wing Dome. Our GPS and Google Map app definitely had it's issues

  • Lisa Jo F.

Well, I had high hopes for this restaurant but the quality is just not there. Sure, they have spiced up the menu but the ingredients are not fresh. The last three times we have eaten there, either myself or my husband get very sick. Sorry Ting Tong, we really wanted to like you guys, however we can no longer risk being up half the night in the bathroom!

  • Jeff W.

Quick and nice service, good price, but not the Best flavor. Its not bad though, try it out.

    (3)
  • Ngan H.

first off thought this restaurant will be very good due to all the good reviews, however it was totally different. I know that they seem understaffed however we were not greeted when enter, had no idea where to sit and had to go get out own menus. it's okay that the food came out a little late, just that the pad Thai had too much sauce, it was so sweet and salty, at least we got a fair amount of prawns. The tom kha, was just okay, pretty sour. The best entree was the pineapple fried rice and Thai tea. But overall food is just ok, I've been to better. And the other bad part was I noticed the chef and kitchen staff did not wear gloves which is very unsanitary!!

    (2)
  • Kimberly S.

I would say average Thai restaurant. Pot stickers and chicken satay, previously frozen. We ordered Pad Thai and Thai fried rice also, pretty good! Their Thai tea was delicious, although a little too sweet so I added a little water to mine than it was perfect :) probably will return. Service was fantastic, the lady was really nice and made sure our water was always full.

    Awesome. My favorite place.

  • Tandi C.

Since Grandma's Girl closed (it's now Grandma's) we were looking for a new thai place since Banyan tree is so overpriced. I've tried quite a few places in Kent (Archa, Thai Chili, etc) and I always test the Pad Thai. If their Pad Thai is catsup-based (as so many are) I never go back. D'jung is amazing. The restaurant is small and bright and clean. They cook to order, and the kitchen is situated so that you can watch them cook. I love that. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Fried Rice, and D'jung Chicken. Everything was amazing. The Pad Thai arrived first and it wasn't soupy or too sweet. It wasn't spicy at all, which was exactly how we'd ordered it. The fried rice has a bit of a curry flavor to it, which pleasantly surprised us. The D'jung chicken was really good, the broccoli cooked perfectly and with just enough garlic that it didn't overpower everything else. The gentleman brought out a little thing with three various types of spice: chili pepper, a chili paste, and a kind of.. I'm not sure, but I think it was chili vinegar or something similar. He suggested we add it to the D'jung chicken or fried rice, which we did - and it was brilliant and delicious. We will be back, and I think this will be our new go-to for Thai.

  • Vicki B.

This restaurant used to be D'Jung which was 5 stars. Now I will give it a 2 after today's visit. We tried to call in our to go order and the lady on the phone couldn't understand us at all. After 3 or 4 repeats she still didn't get it. (Should have been clue 1 not to go there) So my husband went to go in person and order. 55 minutes later he was home. (We live less than 2 miles away) We ordered crab rangoon (didn't taste or find any crab in all 6) the phud Thai had a funny smell to it. Our other dishes that we ordered seemed as if they skipped on the meat. My sister and her boyfriend also ordered food and their pot stickers tasted like Costco frozen ones I buy for snacks. Very processed and not as nice and refreshing as in the past. I do not think we will be back again.

  • D.J. S.

I'm not a big Thai food guy, but the food here is delicious. The owners are really nice as well. The chicken satay and pad see ew (sp?) are mainstays!

    (3)
  • Romar N.

Food here is delicious. Prices are more than fair. This will be my new preferred destination for Thai.

Amazing food, it's nice and small for a good sit down and eat with some friends place. Loved the food and the owner was really nice.

The grandparents have moved on. There are some new owners. I only tried the new place once and it was good but I want to head back and try some other dishes. they have fried ice cream though! have to try that.

We love this place. The food is great, the owners are genuine and make you feel welcome every time. As close to a perfect place for dinner as you can get!

  • Troy U.

If you are looking for spectacular tasting Thai food, look no further than Ting Tong Thai Cafe. We had several of the dishes, spring rolls, chicken satay, curry fried rice with chicken, and chicken pad Thai, all of it yummy. The service is terrific, the servings are perfect size, the price is right, and we left there with full bellies and we will go back. Thank you Ting Tong Thai, you are a favorite for us now.

  • Juan F.

Surprised by the good reviews. This place shut down because nobody eats there. It was closed for awhile and reopened in new, smaller spot. Ate there three times (because our friends' kid was dating the owner's kid -- otherwise, would never have returned), and were disappointed every time. We are crazy about Thai food, but the food at D'Jung was of below-average quality, and way overpriced. We habitually take home leftovers. Not here. Yuck. Dating or not, we won't be returning.

  • Lisa R.

Got to stop by after seeing great reviews. Wow! Amazing! Must order the thai beef salad. Owners are so friendly. Will be coming back soon! Such a great find!

Oh my goodness, a fantastic Thai restaurant on the east hill of Kent. Owner Noi waited on us and she is beyond adorable. This is a brand new restaurant and we are comparing the food to our recent trip to Thailand. Noi's food is easily as good as the best we experienced in Thailand. The wild caught salmon curry was so good we repeated the next visit. We bring our family and friends. The wide noodles (Lard?) just yummy! My litmus test was the Pad Thai and it is right up there with the best. Noi told us they will have beer soon, they applied for their license. Clean, reasonable, fresh, unique and delicious! We will return again and again.

  • Andy Y.

The food here is really good and reasonably priced. And the folks that work here are so friendly. What more could you ask for?

    (5)
  • Sean O.

Spicy noodle was back to normal but I also ordered a Rama noodle with tofu to go and they forgot to put the noodles in. So I just had spinach leaves, tofu, and sauce when I got home. I think there was a misunderstanding on that order cause I also had an extra bowl of rice which I didn't know went with what. The food, atmosphere and people are all good. I will go back.

We are Thai family from Thailand and feel very lucky to found this place. If you are looking for a real test of thai food we are recommend this is the right place to visit.

Don't be fooled by this restaurant's location! Excellent food, prices and service. We had the crab fried rice and it was served with huge chunks of crab, such a nice surprise. The curry panang was on par; not too sweet and the perfect amount of coconut. No complaints here!

    (5)
  • Brian N.

By far the best Panang curry I have ever had!!! Also excellent chicken satay. My girlfriend loved her Rama Shower. The staff was very professional on the phone taking time to repeat everything to make sure there were no mistakes. My girlfriend likes to "customize" everything and they were very accommodating. We had our food delivered and it was here hot and fresh in less than 30 minutes. Oh yeah, dinner for two plus appetizer...$25 delivered. Plenty of food left over for another whole meal.

  • Brian C.

Wow! Just had my first experience from D'Jung Thai and it is now my new go to place for Thai take-out. This is a mom and pops type restaurant that puts out really good thai food. The restaurant atmosphere is plain/simple, but the food is really standout. Great thai cuisine, affordable prices, and good portion sizes. Give it a try and you'll be coming back for more Can't go wrong with the following items: Phad See Ew Panang Curry Holy Basil Fried Rice

  • Rachel R.

I just recently moved into the area and was looking for a good thai place to eat at. Im glad i spotted this place thats just right in front of the Safeway. Probably my new favorite Thai restaurant close to home. The staff was very friendly and the food was really tasty. I got the chicken fried rice and beef pad see eew. Both were very tasty and the spice was just right.

    (5)
  • Jason R.

Was looking for a new place to try- so the reviews led me here. Glad I checked! Really enjoyed my meal. Pud Thai was as good or better as any I have had, the Panang Curry was very good as well, and the service was excellent. 5 stars was actually very spicy (for once!), and they even brought a tray out with extra red pepper flakes, chile sauce, etc. Was told they plan to deliver if/when they get enough business to hire a driver, so hopefully I can enjoy this at home in the future! Will definitely be back.

Best Tom Kha and Pad Thai around. The owners are so nice. The place is clean. Go in before noon and the place is quiet. After noon, it gets busy but worth it.

  • Monique T.

Ordered the prawn phad Thai for dinner and it was delicious. I've been to various Thai restaurants all over Seattle and this place is at the top. They have great customer service (prompt and friendly), clean and the food is fantastic!

  • Aaron W.

Best pud see ew and best panang curry! Owner is super friendly and attentive with great recommendations. Very impressed, will be back to try the phad thai :)

I also wrote a review on this restaurant when they were open before. This restaurant is a jewel. I have never had a bad bite here; everything is just delicious. Sam the kind gentleman that waits on you is also a large part of the pleasure in dining here. He is always kind, is interested in our son, and is fun to talk with about Thailand. I love coming to this restaurant.

This just became our official go to for Thai takeout. The food was AMAZING with a price to match. We utilized the delivery service and we got our food in under 20 minutes. we went with the pad see ew, chicken satay and thai fried riceand it was ALL delicious; 2 stars spicy was just enough kick (my fiance isnt big on spicy food). The customer service, via telephone, was phenomenal also. as another reviewer mentioned, the person that answered the phone was very precise, patient and personable. 5 star service in my honest opinion.

  • Elsa B.

Nom nom nom soooo good!! My Cambodian husband & I love this place. It is so hard to find food Thai food in the South end. We like Thai Ginger in Bellevue, too, but it is so expensive. This place has great food and fair prices. Plus it is like eating at Grandma & Grandpa's house. The owners are so kind & warm. Just gracious. We get take out any time one of us is down in Kent.

  • Teddi E.

Djung is our absolute favorite local Thai place! The food is consistently excellent. Try the green curry chicken at 3 stars it's flavoful and spicy without being too hot to enjoy. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Try it and I bet you'll be back.

  • Kathy P.

I'm thrilled to have found D'jung! My friend and I stopped in today, and we had the best lunch ever! I had my fave, Pud See Ew with Jasmine Rice; she had the Pud Thai and Spring Rolls, and a Thai Iced Tea. Holy cow - EVERYTHING was SPECTACULAR! Fresh, complex layers of flavor, incredible service - the owner even came out and offered us some of the freshly-made (from scratch!) peanut sauce his wife just whipped up. Lovely people, great service, and I can't wait to try their delivery! I would post pics of our meals, but we ate them so fast there was no time :)

Just got back from a team luncheon. We shared 8 different items... all of them distinctive and delicious. Everyone in the group agreed it was some of the best Thai food they've ever had. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Food is great and the Thai tea is money! Though kinda pricy for Kent but great food!

  • Julia R.

This place is wonderful! I came here by myself on a Saturday. The place was small but really nice and clean. I got a thai iced coffee, tofu tod for an appetizer and yellow curry. The tofu tod was basically just fried tofu slices with sauce. It was fried perfectly though and the portion was big. The curry was good too. No complaints here! I will definitely be back to try other things.

    (5)
  • Melissa U.

Quick, great customer service, authentic, and clean for an affordable price! What more can you ask for? I had the papaya salad, tofu pad thai, and crispy fried chicken topped with crispy thai basil. All excellent!

  • Donna B.

I have come here four times for lunch. The first time I was torn between ordering Curry or some sort of Pad Thai dish. My friend suggested I try Pad Mee Kao, so I did and ordered the Green Curry, as well. Now I have had Thai in many different states and normally you just can't go wrong because the ingredients are always fresh, but I have to say this place is pretty delicious and authentic! The staff/owner is always friendly and knows me well enough now to offer me my usual fare. The wait time is very short combined with price and flavour, this is definitely a repeatable favorite go to spot for my Thai lunch fix!

Hands down, new favorite thai restaurant. I love the old couple that works there! So stinking cute! Unbelievably friendly and even more amazing food! Last time I went, we ordered about 5 different dishes and went in family style. So delicious!!! Everything! Great service, super clean, delicious food, killer atmosphere. Go there. Go there now!

  • Vivian N.

Them changed owners so I decided to try it out. My sister picked up our orders To go. We had the chicken pad thai, beef pad see ew and panang curry. I was really surprised by the beef pad see ew, it looked like the chicken pad thai, except with beef. Most places I tried had broccoli and thick rice noodles, but this didn't. 3 stars is what I usually order but it was a bit spicy for me. I wasn't impressed by the orders. Overall, it was okay. I would go out of my place to get thai food elsewhere, but if I'm feeling lazy, I would settle.

Came here in a Saturday evening around 7pm. Place was completely empty, but you could hear the owners taking to go orders. Maybe its busier on the weekdays during the lunch hour. Anyway we sat anywhere we wanted, got served water right away and received menus. No pics in the menus, so the yelp pics were very helpful. Typical Thai dishes on the menu. We ordered the pad eggplant with beef(comes with steamed white rice), holy rice, and cashew nut chicken and a soda. Soda is just a can with a glass of ice, so I'm not sure if there are free refills. Food took about 10 mins to come out. Portion sizes are good and the food was just delicious. I couldn't stop eating! Great flavors and spice was just right. The owner was very nice, she checked in on us just at the right time (not right when you get your food like some do), and was very polite calling us sir and madam. I've been to several Thai restaurants in the area, but this was definitely the best. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying their other dishes.

I have continued returning to this great little restaurant. My husband and my friends have fallen in love with this place. DH and I had the wonderful Green Papaya Salad on a 90º day and it was heaven. I have introduce friends to this little restaurant and they have brought their families and friends all of whom have fallen in love. As long as they continue with the fabulous food we will be here at least once a week.

Second time visit. Picked up seven items: 1. Pad Thai 2. Pad kee maw 3. Chicken satay 4. Tofu tod 5. Panang curry 6. Djung garlic 7. Holy basil fried rice I really really like this place. Maybe even love it bc in addition to yummy good, it's such an excellent value - seriously where can you find $7.95 dishes?? I also enjoy the owners a lot. They seem like such a sweet couple. This place is most def my to go Thai place!!

Needed a quick lunch before a wedding. I'd like to report back that this place is great! Everything was flavorful and delicious. Pad Thai, Tom Yum Noodle, and Yellow Curry all pass the test. If you're reading this, eat here.

This place was okay but there are far better Thai food places near by. We got take out and I am glad because the restaurant seating area was small and it smelled in there.

Ting Thong Thai is one of the best Thai food restaurants I've experienced. And I feel lucky to live not very far from them. I typically get the Chicken Pad Thai and my son gets Chicken Panang Curry. We both can't get enough. The peanut sauce is something special too. Truly awesome sauce! Haha

The quality of the food is like the kind you find at a food court Thai food. The quantity of it is feather light.

  • Celsie S.

Excellent food. Excellent service!! Our waitress/probably the owner, was very sweet. The place was overall clean and had a nice, casual ambiance. I ordered the panang curry, and it was really delicious!! My husband ordered the Tom Kha and he really enjoyed it. The spiciness level of our food was spot on. We will definitely be back to this little place!

We are always scared to try new places because we are usually disappointed when we do. This was not the case. Don't let the size of place fool you. The food is on par or better than most of the bigger places. We ordered all chicken, Tom kha, satay chicken, Pud Thai, Panang curry, and Thai iced tea. The tom kha came out first. It was different than any that we've had. Most of the time it's so spicy even 1 star that it's hard to eat without rice. Theirs was totally different, very sweet and plenty of chicken and mushrooms. Our 8 yr old daughter even had two bowls it was so good. The chicken satay came out next. We ordered the sauce on the side because we ordered it for our 3 yr old who only ate one. The peanut sauce is amazing, as was the chicken. It also came with some other sweet sauce that had large pieces of green and red bell pepper and red onions. The phad Thai came next. We ordered this for our 8yr old 1 star. She ate almost the entire plate! We also tried some of it and were impressed. This is usually what makes or breaks Thai restaurants and it was soo good. I'll order this for myself 5 stars next time. The Panang curry came out last and it as well did not disappoint. Very rich and plenty of chicken. The best I've ever tasted. 3 star spiciness was spot on. Thai iced tea is very good too. I always taste it before stirring it every where I order this. Really good before and after stirring. I cannot get over how good everything was! I'm so glad we tried this place out! The staff/family is so friendly! We are definitely going back! If I could give 6 stars I would!

Not your generic tasting Thai food (usually a recipe for disaster) but their attention to detail on a few small things made lunch into a memorable experience. They added good quality cardamom to their curry and not much coconut milk which made it not overly sweet. The meat was tender, veggies cooked through (except the potatoes) and the portion was on smaller side but that shouldn't be a complaint.

Pad see ew is delicious.. & my Significant had the Stir fry tofu I believe? Im not quite sure but it had carrots broccoli & fried tofu in it. The sauce they used was definitely a pow to the taste buds. I do recommend this place, the people are very cute and friendly, & because its a small restaurant its easier for them to contact there customers quite fast. I also had the papaya salad, it was yummy! A little sweet, wasn't my type of taste because i prefer spicy & sour but it was yummy to my tummy. but they should at least jot down that they put shrimp on it because yes, I am a vegetarian.. & I don't eat seafood, soo i didn't make a big deal but people should know. Anyways overall, customer service was great! & the food was excellent (alot of flavor)

My wife and I tried this place tonight in our search for a good Thai restaurant in the area. The restaurant is very clean and has a small cozy little set up. The staff was outstanding! Excellent customer service! We had the pot stickers, spicy noodles and curry and it was fantastic! The prices are great, the food is excellent and the staff is second to none. This is by far our new favorite for Thai.

The place is pretty clean with a hole-in-the-wall-ish atmosphere, space is very small with only a few tables. The layout is somewhat confusing, for such a small place, there are 2 entrances on each side of the building and the kitchen is in the middle. We went there on a Sunday evening and weren't greeted by any staff or instructed where to sit. We just sat at the first available table and waited about 10 minutes before someone finally gave us a menu. She was friendly and apologetic, which made up for our initial impression of the place. I didn't feel like the place was packed but for the kitchen people, which consisted of 2 elderly women, it must have been very busy. They were very accommodating which made the restaurant feel homey. It probably took about 30 minutes before we got our order. The wait was well worth it though. The food tasted very authentic and homemade but servings were very small. I would probably go back on a weeknight next time.

I give only 4 stars because I've only had one thing there so far - chicken Tom Kha. I was super sketchy about eating there because of some of the reviews and I am SO SO picky about Tom Kha. They knocked it out of the park! I added tomatoes since it didn't come with it, and got some jamine rice (l like to eat the remaining broth with rice like cereal). I couldn't be happier! The portion was great - the container was full to the top, and the 3 stars was just right. I will definitely eat there again, but I'm going to try a bunch of other stuff. I have a love affair with coconut milk so... yah. It was fairly busy, and thats usually a good sign. It's close to work, so I can't wait to try other menu items!

My family loves coming here for Thai food! The food is always delicious and the service is excellent, friendly and quick. We've been to many Thai food restaurants and are so happy to have one so close to home. We usually order satay chicken, chicken pud see ew and Thai iced teas, which are always on point and my picky kids love. The last time we were there, my husband ordered the Heavenly Beef to try something new and he said it was amazing. We can't attest to the yummy factor of other items on their menu but what we've had has us coming back. I recommend Ting Tong Thai to anyone looking for Thai food in the Kent area.

lunch food: chicken satay and pad mee kao. the satay was so tasty. its so coconutty and tender to the bite. that peanut sauce though. i almost licked the bowl clean. the pad mee kao was decent. there were plenty of vegetables, but i feel there wasnt enough noodles. its not too sweet or too tomatoey like some places make it. ***3/5 service: the server was smiling the whole time waiting on our table. shes so nice. we were on the other side of the restaurant, but she took the time to come visit just at the right moments. never had to look for her. ***5/5 value: the price is great for the food. the plate is full and they're not too stingy with the ingredients. ***4/5

Unfortunately, don't know if I came on an off day since my sister was raving about this place. The owner is very pleasant which makes me feel bad for not liking it. First, the Thai tea was made too sweet, I could barely finish a quarter of it. The pad kee mao tasted like bell peppers, no other flavor as distinct. My sister also felt it was a little too sweet in flavor. We got a yellow coconut curry that my sister also felt was a little too sweet, though the spice was good in it. I enjoyed the Papaya salad the most. We did at least let the owner know her Thai tea was too sweet. Probably won't be coming back with the choices I have around the area.

5 stars for service, very friendly and quick! 5 stars for food. I had the massaman curry and crab wontons. The food was delicious. Spice level is low, I would get 3 stars next time. The location is in a strip mall, but don't let that scare you off. The food is worth trying and you'll come back for seconds.

it would have been a 3-star, but their service won me over! the waitress was really sweet n friendly.. she didn't have the confidence 2 make a 1/2 n 1/2 in terms of my personal favorite 1/2 Thai Iced Tea mixed w/ 1/2 Thai Iced Coffee, I was like do it! u'll b fine n everything nearly came out @ once! the Thai Iced Tea/Coffee came the same time as the Crab Rangoon that I ordered, but it took a bit 4 them 2 come n then a second later my -4 star chicken Pud See U came. the Thai Iced Tea/Coffee tasted good, c I know u can do it! nice n sweet.. the Crab Rangoon tasted gingery, but creamy n crispy.. it was ok the Chicken Pud See U was overseasoned, 2 much soy sauce n the chicken came in small chunks n not actual delicious Thai-style slices.. it had broccoli, but no carrot the restroom was clean the food was ok I would only come back b/c of the service!

This cute little Thai place in Kent rounds up to 3.5 stars tonight. I grew up in Kent and I didn't know that there was a Thai place around 108th street. After finding it on Yelp, I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to check the place out. It's in the Safeway plaza and is in it's own little island. The inside is very clean, and there is seating in the front and the back. The place only has a few tables but there doesn't seem to be a huge flux of people (though it's a pretty good place so there should be more!). We were seated right away. The menu is simple divided into appetizer, entrees, noodle dishes, curries, fried rice and desserts/drinks. Rice does not come with any of the dishes so you have to order it on the side if you want rice. The spice level goes from 1 star being mild, 2 stars being medium, 3 stars as very hot and 5 stars as extremely hot. Satay - We started with this as our appetizer and it was grilled chicken marinated in yellow curry and coconut milk. You could really taste the curry in the chicken. There are 5 pieces and they come on bamboo skewers. It comes with peanut sauce and some cucumber salad. I'm not sure how you pair the cucumber salad but we just ate it on the side after each bite. The flavor/seasoning of the chicken was just alright, but the chicken was super tender. The peanut sauce was quite good and did not have an overpowering peanut flavor. The cucumber salad was a refreshing thing to eat since it was less savory and added a nice contrast because of the sour vinegar. Pad kee mao - We got this with chicken at 3 stars. It had a nice kick but I wouldn't say it was necessarily very hot. I would probably say 3 stars was just "hot." It was a bit on the oilier side but it did have the good Thai sweet basil flavor to it. It had a good amount of veggies although I've seen places add more veggies. Some of the noodles were stuck together so when they were finally pulled apart it would be pure white with no sauce. They could have done a little better pulling apart the noodles. Average amount of chicken throughout and each piece was pretty good. Pineapple fried rice - I think it was a little misleading because we thought the fried rice would be slightly on the sweeter side because of the pineapple. But surprisingly it tasted like yellow curry rice. The yellow curry rice wasn't bad, but did come off a bit strong since the curry was the only flavor I could taste. We got this at 2 stars and it was barely spicy. We added tofu to ours. The tofu was fried tofu and were pretty thick cut. There were also an average amount of tofu throughout but each piece tasted great. Some of the rice would clump together making sticky clumps of rice which were not that enjoyable. Pad basil - This veggie sauteed dish with basil and garlic was put at 5 stars with beef. I think this was one of the better dishes tonight. It was well seasoned, probably because it was swimming in sauce. The beef was well cooked and each piece of veggie still had a good firm bite to it. It was at the level of "extremely hot" but I felt like it just had a nice kick to it. I think the spice level is tamed down for people who can't take much spice. Service was awesome. The lady was so kind and patient. She had small chat with us, gave us some advice, checked up on us frequently and our water was always filled. She made sure everything was tasting great. Didn't take long for our food to come out. The portion sizes here are a bit smaller than what I am normally used to while the price is about the same at about $8-9. For all the dishes it was around $38 without tip. Overall, it's nice to know that there is a good Thai place in Kent! Will be back if I'm in Kent and am craving Thai food.

I haven't been to ting tong ever since it opened because the food wasn't good at all. I finally came back after a long time and overall, I'm glad I did. Customer service was phenomenal! The owner was so nice. Always coming to our table to check up on us, refill our waters, and having nice small conversations before the food came to our table. We ordered a chicken pad Thai, beef pad see ew and chicken red curry. Food was overall good but the pad see ew was my favorite and the best! So flavorful! The curry had a lot more of coconut milk than I'm used to but I'm not complaining. Pad Thai was good as well! Overall I'll be coming back. It was good thai food with good prices. 10/10 recommend this place!!

The wife wanted to try a new Thai place and since Ting Tong Thai had such high reviews, we thought we'd give it a try even though it was a lot farther than our regular go-to Thai spots in the area. The location is a little weird in the strip mall...if you don't look hard enough, you might actually drive past it and not even notice. It's not where you would think a restaurant would be located in a strip mall. It's actually closer to the main road and away from all the other businesses. The seating is also a little cramped. The service was fast and friendly. The food was just so-so...not bad but also not great. I'm totally was expecting it to be spectacular given the high ratings on Yelp. Yeah so basically it was a little meh. The Pad See Euw was good. We tried the Pad Krapro and it was a little disappointing...way too much bell pepper and not enough chicken. You might also consider going higher on the stars if you like your food spicy. We went 2 stars since my wife isn't too fond when the food is on fire but we barely noticed any chili pepper. But I'll probably come back again and try some other dishes. Still prefer Kwan Tip Thai in Federal Way... On a totally separate note...be careful in the parking lot because people in this area don't know how to drive. We almost got sideswiped twice just trying to get out to the main road.

Heard some good reviews based on yelp on this place, so my girlfriend and I finally decided to try this place out. We were not disappointed, the people are really friendly and kind. The place seem kinda small when we first walked in, but that didn't discourage us because sometimes the best things come in small packages. Also this place is family owned, so you get the sense that the food is made to a "home cooked" type of vibe. The food itself was great, every dish we ordered had its own individual flavors, but yet blended well with each other. I would recommend this to anyone especially in the local area to try this out if you a Thai food lover!
