Love this place. The food is outstanding, service is so friendly and the atmosphere couldn't be any more inviting. We had the Po' boy, tots, corn bread, collards, jambalaya, wings and beignets . Everything was perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We have plans with friends to back this Thursday to listen to live music and eat another wonderful dinner! Boy has Kent needed a place like this!

This is an absolute gem of a place! We went there on a whim and left feeling happy! Service was wonderful with the owner taking the time to ensure we were doing well. I had the Shrimp and Grits and my friend had the Oxtail. The fried okra was to die for! A definite revisit and maybe even their brunch! Thank you for the amazing hospitality and menu. We will be going back.

Found this lil gem here on yelp. I hope they stick around FOREVER!!! The menu isnt big but everything looks sounds so amazing. My first time here I got the Grits and Shrimp with greens and sweet potatoes. The shrimp and grits, were the best Ive ever had. The greens amazing and I consider myself a snob when it comes to greens because my Mom makes them so perfect, but these are right up there with them, maybe even better (sorry Mom) Dont even get me started on the sweet potatoes, best I've ever had hands down!! Everything was perfect. My BFF got the fried chicken dinner, and shared (lucky me) but the chicken is cooked perfect and the flavor is outstanding. After all these we even decided on dessert. Sweet potato pie and beignets. The beignets are really freaking amazing. The service was a little on the slow side but great, good Ol Southern hospitality. Not to mention the women that run this place are beautiful. The decor is really nice and would be a great place for date night. It is right by the train tracks so it can get loud but I promise the food is worth it. Cant wait to come back.

If you are from the south or just craving true southern food, you must go to The Quarters in Kent. The service is outstanding, food amazing, and they have real sweet tea & kool aide. Love, love, love this place. First time I felt at home since I moved to Washington. Thank you so much!!! We will see you next weekend! Extra bonus...they have live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6pm-9pm.

Service was decent, but the food was subpar and a bit overpriced. The menu options are also extremely limited, and this place is CASH ONLY (seriously...in 2014??). The restaurant is in a great location (if you don't mind the noise and rumble of the train passing by). Close to parking, friendly staff, very spacious interior, although they could organize their space a little better. I feel like they have a lot of promise, but they're not up to standard just yet. The fried chicken was probably the worst I've ever had. Very salty and greasy. You can get better fried chicken at the grocery store. The rest of the meal was decent, but still overpriced for what you get. They have a separate space next door for parties and events. Might be a cool weekend hangout spot, but I will probably not be returning to the restaurant.

You must try this restaurant. What a great local find for us. Everything was perfect. The staff and service were the best we've had in a long time and the food was DELICIOUS. We had the Ox Tails and they melted in your mouth. We will definitely be regular customers. Can't wait to go back.

The food was great. We were a party of three (1 kid) and all of us loved the food. We ordered a bit of everything, the sides were a great portion for all of us, and were sufficient enough for our childs meal. We ordered the shrimp and grits, shrim po' boy, mac and cheese, jambalaya, greens and yams and all of it was delicious. The service was great, the waitress was very friendly, prompt and made great conversation. We also had drinks which were delicious and strong (the way we like it). We will be going back for the brunch and fried chicken soon. Great place to have dinner and relax after a longs days work.

I can't say I'm very impressed. They only serve the one dish during for Sunday brunch that is $20. It includes chicken and waffles, bacon, sausage, Cajun eggs, potatoes, grits and a salmon thing. Oh and I can't forget the mimosas, you get 2 but I barely drank the one. The food: bland and over cooked. The potatoes were way too spicy. The eggs were dense and brown from all the seasoning. The grits had no salt and pepper. The salmon thing was dry and just not visually appealing. They had mini waffles that I couldn't decide if they were frozen before. My chicken was burnt, had the little feather bits, and no flavor. It was moist though. The ambiance: cute, a little too loud w the music for brunch we had to yell at each other but we were next to the musician. It seems like a cool place to go hang out. The service: staff was very pleasant but I was a little put off by the waitress in flip flops w grocery store feet and a tank top. Maybe brunch isn't the way to go, maybe they are really good at dinner but I have my doubts. I wish the friendly service and great ambiance could compensate that their food was not made with love this morning. I really wanted a reason to go back and try their oxtail.

My husband and I stumbled on this gem on Father's Day. He had just finished a triathlon (and took 1st place--woot woot!) and was starving. The race was in Kent, so we decided to stay in the area and made our way downtown. I pulled up the Yelp app to search for nearby restaurants and saw that this place had great reviews. We drove by it to find parking and were a little freaked out when we saw the outside of the building because it looked fancy; to say we were underdressed would be an understatement. Anyway, we walked in and were greeted immediately by a beautiful woman which I later found out was one of the owners. She showed us to our table and gave us menus. It was a special menu for Father's Day brunch and consisted of: Cajun scrambled eggs, Cajun potatoes, salmon croquette, grits, chicken and waffles, sausage, bacon and two mimosas each. All of that food for just $20 per person! Each item was packed full of flavor and seasoned to perfection. The service was amazing as the staff was very attentive. The place was quite busy but the staff did a wonderful job tending to every table. It's obvious they work well as a team and every single one of them had a great personality and were super friendly. My husband and I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again in the near future to try out their lunch and dinner menu. If you're looking for amazing southern cookin', great service and great ambiance, I highly recommend The Quarters.

This is a place for 1. People who have never been to the south to try the delights there 2. Don't know or have friends who know how to cook southern food. I will say the shrimp and grits was tasty. My husbands fried chicken was too. However, if i had not already purchased a Groupon for this place, I would have looked at their limited and over priced menu and walked out. We had to make reservations through Groupon so we dressed up and showed up on time...to a restaurant that stayed empty enough that this is just ridiculous. Especially for food that is cooked in large batches and sits, which except for the meat, all of theirs is. The greeter/waitress wore flip flops and no bra under a tank dress that she tied up in a knot. I am fine with this...but not when i have to make reservations, the restaurant is divey and smells like mildew and old air instead of freshly cooked food. I also have a problem with this when a shrimp and grits with few shrimp and a lot of grits costs $24 and fried chicken was $17 plus $3 per tiny sides of bland soggy potatoes and the most boring greens i have ever tasted. There were so many traditional southern foods missing from the menu and nothing on it that resembled the pics on Groupon. My husband was curtly told they didn't have honey when he asked for some for his corn bread. I gave this 2 stars because the tiny shrimp and chicken were cooked right...but I've had much better. The sad thing is that for the money we could have fed same dishes to at least 10 people and it would have tasted much better.

This restaurant has an inviting and cozy feel to it. There aren't many tables inside but they do have outdoor seating. The menu is simple and substitutions are not allowed. We ordered the Drunken Oxtails with Grits and Jambalaya with Fried Chicken. It was delicious! The night we came in, they were offering a special side - Mac Attack. It's mac & cheese with bacon and shrimp. It was flavorful and not too rich. The lemonade wasn't too memorable and the corn bread was dry. The staff is super friendly. The wait was long but I think it was because all the tables arrived at the same time and we were one of the last ones to be seated. The pricing seems high for the portion size.

Not only does this place have amazing food, but the staff are awesome as well. There is some TRUE southern hospitality at this place. I had the oxtail with grits, collard greens, and cornbread and everything was delicious. And I mean that oxtail was incredible. I could have eaten it with a spoon it was so tender. The cornbread was really good but you have to ask for butter. Personally, being a southerner myself, I think it should just come with it automatically. :) What's cornbread without butter? We also had the beignets for dessert, which were a little less fluffy than I'm used to but still excellent! Oh and try the "backer packer" cocktail! It's gin, midori, vodka, pineapple juice, and orange slices (and maybe something else I can't remember) and is refreshing and strong. Super tasty. We'll definitely be coming back!

It's surprising to see all of the negative reviews are about the service when that is what I was most impressed with here. I remember thinking to myself, "These ladies are all so happy!" And they really were. They were very welcoming and gave you the feeling that you were just stopping by a friends or family members restaurant for some dinner. When they took our order, they asked for our names and then continued to address us by our names for the rest of the night. I thought the service here was incredible. Now, as for the food......... YES, YES, YES! Finally, some where closer than Tacoma where the Southern food is actually good. Anyone who goes to the popular spot Southern Kitchen in Tacoma needs to make their way over to The Quarters instead. There wasn't one thing on my plate that wasn't extremely flavorful. Everything came out hot and fresh and not hot from the heat lamp either. Whoever the cooks are need to stay the cooks because that chicken is definitely one of a kind. And finally, some mac and cheese that's actually cheesy and not just some noodles. I do suggest making a reservation ahead of time. This place isn't huge and they get busy. We were seated a bit uncomfortably because there was 5 of us and every table except a table that they probably seat 2 or 3 people at was the only table available. We made it work though. :) No complaints on my end. I'm a fan and I'll be back!

Oh my goodness--deliciously scrumptious food and oh-so friendly service. Get the turkey necks, I was skeptical but it was the tastiest dish we got, though the oxtail, mac and cheese, cajun potatoes, and chicken wing were fantastic too. The broth of the turkey was unbelievably rich and flavorful. We will return!

Went there for the first time tonight and it was amazing. I had a hard time deciding so I ended up ordering a bunch of sides; everyone was delicious! One of the sides was jumbalia, you can also order it as a meal, it was amazing. I also had a chicken wing and it was the best fried chicken I've ever had. I will definitely be going back!

Well, it's Cajun in Seattle. Had what was advertised as a shrimp poboy. Problem was that the bun wasn't close and there were half the traditional quantity of shrimp which were fried so long the breading was cement. Also had a side of dry corn bread - no butter - and beans. The only thing that was close were the beans. Quite expensive and poorly done imitations. Yuck.

If you're on your way to Seattle or find yourself in Kent you've got to be here. We made some new friends. Jade and the ladies took care of us and cooked up some NOLA heaven. Every one of the ladies checked on us and made sure we had an experience not just a meal. We'll be seeing them again soon.

A visit to Ikea on the weekend required a relaxing dinner to follow. Thanks to all the wonderful reviews we found this place. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I love to be surprised by new foods. The turkey necks did not fail. A fork and knife gal, my usual habits weren't working. Had to roll up my sleeves and dig in. Highly recommend this place!

I made a reservation for 11:30am today for my sisters bridal brunch. While ordering our drinks I attempted to order beignets and was told "we are ouy of those honey you're on your own". Now, I found it astounding that they woud have sold out within 30 minutes of opening. I asked if that was the case. I got a TON of attitude from my server, who is one of the co-owners "baby we sold out and i eas here till 1am. Its just my wife how were we supposed to make more?" She continuously called me sweetie and my entire party was floored with her unwarranted attitude and rudeness that we decided to leave. I have heard great things about this place, it smelled wonderful inside but I refuse to spend my money in a place that woukd treat us that way. To top ot off, a person in our party knew this person personally which truly shows that they don't give a famn aboit their customers.

Unfortunately can't review the food because the service was bad so we left. When we came in there were two other people in the restaurant and she asked if we had reservations which we did not. Once we sat down I told her we had a groupon to use and she said you can't use it without a reservation and proceeded to make me feel kind of stupid by saying that's why I asked you if you had a reservation when you came in...apparently with the groupon they're very strict about the reservation. Which would have been fine if she had nicely explained it. Looking at the app after we left there were tons of reservation times open and if she was customer service oriented she could have shown or explained it to us. We will not be back to the restaurant especially since when we left she was trash talking us to the two other patrons in the place.. Unprofessional.

This is my first time I here. Stopped in during Kent Cornucopia. It was their 1 year anniversary. The waitresses/hostesses/bartender are all very warm & friendly and attentive. I had the Louisiana lemonade cocktail & Seafood gumbo with cornbread. It was amazing. I didn't wait long for my food to arrive. There's a live band playing and it just adds to the atmosphere. I would definitely come back and there are other things on the menu I would love to come back and try especially brunch. This is definitely a hidden gem in Kent.

I give it a 5! The moment I stepped in I was greeted right away by the sweetest woman who also took our order. I came with my boyfriend for the first time to try this hidden gem in Kent! So close to home and yet it was SO good! The sweet tea was perfect! I ordered the jambalaya that came with a chicken wing and cornbread and I wanted to try the grits. My first time trying grits and it wasn't so bad. The chicken was perfectly crunchy, seasoned and juicy! I'd have to come back for brunch!!! A bit on the pricey side but by far this is the greatest southern dish prepared by far!! Well worth the price, large portion too! They have great customer service which is a plus!

I adored this restaurant. First time visiting them today as I had noticed them earlier in the week on a Tuesday (they were closed), but I read the yelp reviews and vowed to stop in for lunch or dinner. The proprietor Jade and her sister are so warm and friendly, truly genuine people and I felt the love the moment I walked in. Since it was Lunch time I ordered the chicken which comes with the Cajun potatoes and I ordered a side of mac n cheese, and I had a very tasty Mardi Gras inspired cocktail.Chicken was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Mac n Cheese was cheesy, hot, fresh and the Cajun potatoes were nicely crisp. Sold! I highly recommend people come in as they have a very nice environment and serve amazing N'Orleans inspired dishes that they do themselves. A lovely addition to the Kent area; and it would be the perfect spot for a special/private event too.

Fried chicken lovers... Can I get a amen!! Awesome wings, well seasoned, crispy and you get 4 jumbo wings and 2 sides for dinner. I had the Mac n cheese and jambalaya for sides and were also great tasting. Good price and great service, a gem in downtown Kent. (Slow cooked turkey necks are a must also)

We were in Kent for a birthday party - perfect excuse to finally make the trek here and try their food- forever on the lookout for authentic southern food, this place definitely had some of it! We tried the fried chicken wings (huge .... perfect seasoning!!) and turkey necks - these were sooo good. Salty, with a lot of flavor. The collards were decent (though I've def had better), grits were perfect to sop up the turkey necks sauce, jamabalaya was flavorful, and so were the cajun potatoes. The cornbread was not the best. Overall, this place was pretty cute, and very friendly service. But I have to dock a star cos it is def overpriced - I'm guessing they have to charge this much as it's in the middle of nowhere but I was def put off a bit by the prices. They do give you a lot of food though so you will def have leftovers!

I heard about this place from my sister and couldn't wait to try as I am an extreme lover of all things southern. The Sunday brunch menu looked delicious and couldn't wait to try the only place in Washington that served salmon croquettes for breakfast. Walking in I was immediately greeted with warm and friendly smiles. I sat down and a little taken aback that I had to get the brunch combo for $24.99. On their online menu, the prices aren't listed and it looks like you can order items individually. The deal is you get a whole bunch of food: Bowl of grits one salmon croquette two pieces of bacon two pieces of sausage cheese eggs with peppers two mini waffles two chicken wings two mimosas You can remove items but you can't add items or order things individually. I was hesitant to try because that is a lot of food for one person. I have to say everything tasted good, I don't think they should make a person order that much food. $25 is a lot for breakfast and I think keeping this structure may deter people from coming based on the price and lack of flexibility on the items that can chosen. All in all I had a great time and I thought the food was good. I look forward to coming back trying their lunch/dinner selections. They also have a place next door where you can book private parties. Oh and keep in mind that it's cash only.

It was delicious and the service was great! Like others said, they were welcoming and made you feel like you were at a friend's house for dinner. We had the jambalaya and the chicken wings- plenty of food, left full and had plenty to take home. Probably drank our weight in sweet tea, it was so good, just like I remembered from my trips to the south. The chef came out to our table and was gracious and welcoming. We are bringing friends and going back this weekend.

Checked out this restaurant today for dinner and was blown away! The staff is very friendly. There is a southern hospitality atmosphere that I truly enjoyed and missed being from Louisiana myself. When looking over the menu, you can't just choose one item. My friend and I wanted to try as much as we could. The oxtails and grits came with side of collard greens and yams..and had to try the mac and cheese. Yum yum!! But the best thing is the fried chicken... Oh yeah we got a side of chicken too lol! So glad we did..the chicken alone is worth the trip. Everything is cooked fresh and you can tell! One of the owners/chef, Jade, even gave us a little taste of new dessert that will be added to menu soon but it's a secret! Shhshh! Very good! Definitely feel at home dining at The Quarters!! Will definitely be returning again and again. Tell a friend to tell a friend.. It's worth it.

Came here for the first time and I was craving some fried chicken and cornbread. Unfortunately, I was told that they were out of cornbread and a number of other sides, so I ended up getting their fried chicken with yams, fried okra, and tater tots as sides. All in all, I thought it was good, but not mind blowing. My husband had their jambalaya and said that it wasn't as flavorful as he was expecting. I tried a few bites and I would have to agree. A solid 3 stars from the food we experiened tonight but I'd like to come back and try their po-boy. Customer service was warm and friendly, although our drinks were not refilled. We enjoyed the live music very much (Saturday night).

I got a Groupon for this restaurant. I was really excited to visit, because of the good reviews, the pictures of the food looked amazing and of course anyone born and raised in this area like me, knows that Soul Food restaurants are few to none and rarely if ever meet expectation or stay in business long. So I was hopeful. Decor: The restaurant itself was nice and spacious, nicely decorated, the air conditioning worked well, it was comfortable, I enjoyed the music playing in the background, it was a pleasant atmosphere. Service: There were 3 in my party, the restaurant wasn't crowded at all, maybe two other tables we occupied; we were greeted and seated immediately and informed of the specials being offered. Looking at the dinner menu there were only I think 5 options. There were two waitress- both were friendly. It took a while for someone to come and take our order; when she did come she said she was taking drink orders, however, we had waited about 20 minutes, so were ready to place our food orders as well. We ordered 2 Chicken Plates that came with 4 nice size pieces of chicken, two sides and corn bread for $17 each, and an order the special of the day, which was Gumbo- it wasn't on the menu, so not sure how much it cost. The food took about 15 minutes to come and was all very hot and fresh. The Food: The first thing I noticed was the chicken- they were really nicely sized and, however, some pieces has a ton of hair on them; It's important to clean chicken well, including removing an extra hairs/fur. The ones that didn't have hair were good; really hot, seasoned and fried well- just a little darker than I like, but not too bad. The chicken also was not as tender as I like and were hard to pull apart. The greens were terrible; they had a lot of bite to them like I like, however, they were under cooked, and there was no seasoning whatsoever. The juice was as clear as water and they tasted as such. There was no spices, meat, onions, nothing. Very tasteless and bland. Hot sauce and salt did them no justice. The cornbread was FANTASTIC! the texture was great; it was moist, sweet, and it was really good. No honey needed. I ended up tossing my greens in it so that they could absorb some sort of flavor. The 8-cheese mac and cheese didn't deliver either, again, no real depth of flavor. The texture was nice, but not seasoned at all- didn't even see specks of black pepper! There were some green onions garnished on top... Gumbo- it was the most watery gumbo I have ever tasted in my life- it wasn't even as thick or flavorful as the Campbell Canned Chicken and Gumbo- which is gross. It was supposed to be served over rice but due to the super thin broth, the rice was literally swimming in the gumbo. Again, absolutely no depth of flavor at all. There's was no roux or flour or any type of thickener added to this gumbo. To top it off, there were 3 very small, little craw-fish that still had the full shell, eyes, legs, everything sitting on top, with 3 very small shrimp- I mean small. I'm not exaggerating. We ordered beignets; they were pipping hot and fresh with plenty of powdered sugar. The texture was great- again, just not very flavorful, I kept wishing I had a side of strawberry sauce or something to dip them in. I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant and liking it- I wanted to give a good review, but the food was not good, the lack of menu choices was disappointing and failed greatly at meeting my expectations. The prices were high, however, if the food was really good and quality, I wouldn't of minded paying as much as I did. My bill came to $75- I used the $30 Groupon which brought it down to $45, but I paid $18 to get the Groupon, so add that (45+18 = $63) $63 for three meals, a drink and an order of beignets--- I don't feel restaurant delivered at all and I don't plan on returning. My hope for them is that they will reinvent their menu and get a new chef that knows how to make real, down home, soul food. These are nice ladies and a nice restaurant and location and I would love for them to succeed. Quality food takes time to cook- it shouldn't be rushed- it needs time to develop depth and flavor. Gumbo, is all about the roux and should have some thickness to it- and again time to cook and develop flavor. Greens should always have some sort of meat and again be flavorful and juicy- you can drink the juice of my greens! Chicken should be cleaned really well, and be tender enough to pull apart. Mac and Cheese should have some seasoning too; cheese isn't enough by itself. I'd love to know what 8 cheeses they used?? For these reasons I had to give it 2 stars.

This review is a followup to my first review on The Quarters. We had our Holiday Office Party here and were excited to get here and really get the party started. When we arrived we noticed that the tables they had us set at were a little far apart for intimate conversations, but they quickly jumped into action and rearranged it for us. I really appreciated all the hard work and time the ladies gave us. Although we had some fussy patrons, the ladies kept a smile on their face and made sure we all were fed, and the music/dancing was great. I love this place, and would go again.

I have been "harassing" my BF to take me here for about 6 months now and was completely disappointed by my experience. Let me just start off by saying that I did not eat here as the customer service I received when I walked in was so rude I lost complete interest in this place all together. I went this past Tues. for their Fat Tuesday (FT) night. I was early so was parked in front and was enjoying the music (90's Hip Hop and R&B) they were setting up for the evening. I walked in about 15 min after they opened and was greeted by the hostess and the owner, Jade. They were both nice. As I walked in I was trying to figure out if it was a seat yourself establishment or wait to be seated. I asked Jade about seating at the same time she asked me if I was there for dinner or FT ( they were doing a game night and we were more interested in food). I know I had a puzzled look on my face as I was trying to make a quick decision on what we would like to do. She then got an attitude and asked again if I was there for FT or dinner so I just said dinner. In her annoyed voice she proceeded to tell me that they dont do dinner on FT and only serve fried chicken and tots that night and again asked me with attitude if I was there for FT. I told her I would call my BF and ask what he would like to do. I walked out. Jade was talking so loud to her employee about how people need to realize there is a difference between FT and dinner service that I could hear her from outside as I was getting in my car. She went on a rant for about 5 min. As I was waiting for a return call from my BF (appx 15 min - it was now about 630 - 30 min after they opened) only 1 other person walked in and she walked back out in less than 5 min. I will not be ever going here again. When you are in the restaurant industry customer service needs to be #1 and being treated the way that I was by the owner herself just makes it that much worse. No wonder there was not a single person in there if that is how she treats people.

I met a friend in Kent recently and we decided to try this place out. My first impression of the place was that there was a lot of open space and only a few tables. It felt a little weird. Aside from that, everything was great! The ladies here are so friendly and welcoming! I felt like I was in someone's (large, open) house. I had to order the fried chicken because that was the main reason for choosing the place. I got the chicken dinner, which came with 4 wings and 2 sides. Looks like they may only have chicken wings as their fried chicken option. Good thing the wing is my favorite part! The chicken was nice and crispy and the breading was not too thick and not too thin. Along with the chicken, I chose sides of tater tots and collard greens. The tater tots seemed extra crispy, which made them even more delicious and addicting. The collard greens were good and full of chunks of meat. I ended the meal with beignets, of course. They were fine. I'm not entirely sure what a real beignet is supposed to be like. I'm used to the ones at Toulouse Petit that I love. I want to come back and try their brunch; I see that chicken and waffles are on the menu at this time!

Four of us are here while in town for a golf tournament. Three had the chicken wings and one the gumbo....all was delicious and the cocktails were extra yummy! The ladies were more like hostesses than waitresses....like you were eating at their house. Live music a little loud for us oldsters but cest la vie. Only criticism is that sides are all very heavy...be nice to at least have option of cole slaw or green beans.....all I all we will be back next year!

The food OMG it's amazing! the oxtail grits!!... can you say #foodgasm!! you have to try it.!! The fresh Binyays are mighty delicious too!! We will def be coming back for many date nights or just a place to hang with friends! The chef also came out to ask us how everything was, It was delicious! Seriously can't get over how delicious the oxtail and grits are! I'm Asian so I'm used to eating tender fall off the bone ox tail in Pho mainly. Def glad we stopped by and check out this awesome place! They had a live saxophone player which have it a romantic and cozy feel. He played awesome songs!

For fathers day invited out the fam of 13 on arriving was greeted very rudely by the light skinned lady with the big hair. Happy she was not one of the nice young ladies who waited on our party. The food was not at best and it appeared we had to many guest at one time for them to handle after getting a bill for almost $350.00 to top it off once again the rude lady told us they were closing to get ready for dinner. mind you not everyone was served at the same time so now they have to hurry and eat and go.food was not up to standard this time had before with just 2 people it was ok. To the rude lady you need to get some customer service skills.........again to the 3 running around to make sure we were good thank you and keep on being pleasant you will go along way

Ok, I'm letting this get to me because we spent $$$ for that mess, rating? Shiiiid, MINUS 5 star!!!! Real talk, never again!! I'm not just saying!!

I'm so happy I found this place! The service is spectacular & the food is even better! I ordered the jambalaya with shrimp which was so good but it came with a chicken wing that put it over the top. The chicken wings here are so damn delicious. The ladies here are so welcoming, it felt like I was eating at a friend's house, not at a restaurant. I love that they have little notebooks set out on the tables for guests to write in. I loved reading the other customers' thoughts about the place. It's just such a fabulous restaurant. I'll have to come back when they have live music!

I love to travel for many reasons, but food is number one. Being from the foodie nirvana that is Portland, it can be a bit frightening at times. Rolling into Kent, WA was one of those times. Between the bail bond and micro loan stores, I seriously started to sweat. Am I going to end up at the Jack-In-The-Box drive thru? Oh hell no! Fortunately, my better half is a yelp NINJA and dark wizard, mastered in the art of finding killer food joints in places that would otherwise make you cry (Phoenix, Sacramento). Enter The Quarters... Southern places sketch me out. My aunt was from New Orleans and I quickly learned that home cookin' is where it's at, otherwise, may as well go to Popeye's. Add to that, Portland's own Southern gem, Screen Door, is an over-hyped yawn. My expectations were low... And blown to shit the second we walked in. I'm not sure I've ever felt more welcomed in a restaurant before. The owners and staff, despite having only a couple open tables, were incredibly inviting, even taking the time to sit down with us and talk about the food, the business, and other good local joints. At this point, they could have served half frozen TV dinners and I would have been impressed, but instead, they rolled out some of the best Southern cuisine I've ever had. Oxtails that were so tender and slightly sweet, served with grits that still tasted fresh 30 minutes into the meal. Greens that didn't rely on bacon to blow your mind and actually had spice. Mac and cheese that's easily in my top three ever. Fried chicken that was perfectly spiced, moist and served hot as hell itself. And yams, YAMS, YAMS, YAMS! If I say the oxtail was amazing and the yams were better, you KNOW I'm talkin'about some serious shit here. EAT THE YAMS! I would honestly consider the two plus hour trip north, just to eat here and head back home. In fact, I'm certain this will happen. tl;dr...YAMS BABY!

The staff alone made me want to come back! Jade was so nice and made me feel right at home. I loved the artwork and ambiance...every table had a guest book you could sign and leave comments in which was unique and fun. I went for lunch on Saturday and had the po boy sandwich with the.grilled shrimp. The flavors were delicious with grilled onions and bell peppers. I also loved the side of crispy tots that came with the sandwich. I will definitely be back to try dinner!

What a great place to go and have good, freshly made food! We stopped in yesterday and immediately felt welcome. After choosing a table outside, our waitress (who was very nice and personable) brought us ice water and menus and great conversation. The food was amazing. Now, when I go out I only eat half of my entrée and take the rest home. After the first bit of my Po' Boy I couldn't stop! DELICIOUS! I ordered a side of their special mac and cheese with shrimp, scallions and bacon! AMAZING! My husband ordered the jambalaya - it was so good and spicy! We're going back, often!

Came by for Sunday brunch on our way back to Portland. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Where else are the owners going to come chat you up and make sure your experience was the best it could be? Spicy potatoes, scrambled eggs with bell pepper and cheese, grits, chicken and waffles, pineapple mimosa, and so much more. I cannot say enough things about this place, you will just have to come try it for yourself!

I was nearby and remember seeing this place on Facebook. I was craving something crispy and sweet, what better than sum good ol soul food. I love the location. It has a New Orleans vibe and it was modern inside. It's really cool they have art on the walls that can be purchased and even a bar. My waitress was the sh*t! She made sure I was never thirsty , she was nice , felt like going to a family members house that won't let you lift a finger ..the perfect hostess. Now the best part... The food! Southern fried chicken cooked to order was delish ! Seasoned and fried just right. The 8 cheese mac OMG YUMM! cheese not dry so good. The greens were good had a hint of spice and the yams are the best yams I've ever had EVER! I loved that they had actual kool aid at this place. It was like getting a plate from your loved ones kitchen. They are new and I can't wait to go back again with friends.

Amazing! I had the fried chicken, & for my side I had collard greens & MacNCheese. The sweet tea tho? Bruh! A1 I'm actually going there today with friends.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner with our groupon. We were seated right away since we've made reservation. We ordered the chicken wings and the turkey neck. The wings were good..the turkey neck was a little salty. The grits were bland but maybe we should have eaten it was the turkey neck to balance it out. The Mac and cheese were ok...nothing to write home about. I did ask for an order of the beignet from the waitress but then I think she forgot since she was talking with another gal. So was a little bummed out..cause I wanted to try the beignet. All in all..the good was okay.

amazing service and serious food! had the oxtail and grits...absolutely DELISH! I would have licked the plate if I wasn't so full. so glad we finally walked into this little gem in downtown Kent. we will be back so that we can truly try everything on their menu.

I came in for lunch ready to order some oxtail grits. Unfortunately for me, it's not on the lunch menu. I had the fried chicken wings w/ tots and collard greens instead. OH. MY. YUM!!! I got a friendly scolding from the cook for eating my wings with a fork. Any way you eat it, it'll taste just as delish!! The sweet tea was so refreshing and Southern good! And the beignets were the perfect ending to my meal (as good as the ones I had in Louisiana!). Service was great. The ladies were super attentive and fun...dancing to music and friendly as can be (even though they're Packer fans!) I can't wait to come back for dinner...and brunch...and lunch again! See you next week, Jade!

When you waddle out of a restaurant you know they did something right! However let me start off by saying, food aside, this is hands down the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. EVERYONE was polite, welcoming , and knowledgeable. I felt At home, with friends. One of the owners even sat down at the table and shared her story , love her. Now let's talk about food..this place gives screen door in PDX a run for it's money!! Oxtail and grits, amazing...fried chicken? I Have some leftover , saving it for breakfast and can't wait! The yams ? There is something special about those yams. Collard greens, fantastic ..little bit of heat and not vinegar-y just like I like them . Hands down the best Mac and cheese I've had in awhile, my daughter raved about it!! THIS is comfort food, and what is even better? The sweet ladies serving it!

The Quarters has been taking Kent by storm since it opened by providing an incredible dining experience. After my recent visit here, I can understand why. The staff at the Quarters serves up, not only the fine hospitality expected in the south, but also, the perfect succulent dishes which give nod to Midwestern and New Orleans cuisine. My Cajun husband, native to Louisiana, is a transplant to Seattle. Hence, it's given that if a new restaurant opens in Greater Seattle Area featuring Louisiana's cuisine, then we have to go try it out. I read raving reviews about this place and was excited to try this place with him. And, this place did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the food was exceptionally good, and the live music was perfect! It went above and beyond our expectations... Located in the heart of Kent downtown, The Quarters captures the hearts of all who visit. A delight to all "six" senses, The Quarters satisfied us with some of the best dishes from Louisiana. The classic Cajun dish Jambalaya served here is comforting and satisfying and it comes very close to Jamabalaya I have had in French Quarters. We tried Quarters' shrimp po boy too and I have to say that the po-boy here is great! We can be pretty critical about a shrimp po-boy & theirs lived up to our standards (good bread, good shrimp & lots of them, good seasoning). The shrimps were fat, tasty and fried perfectly and the po-boy was good sized, well flavored and nicely dressed. My husband described it perfectly : "the shrimp po-boy was a religious experience". If you don't get anything else here, just get this shrimp po-boy. You won't regret it, I promise. The Quarters' po-boy is much superior and authentic po-boy than the one you get at The Roux, Where ya at Matt, Marcela's, Toulouse Petit or Kingfish café. Other things we had here and thoroughly enjoyed were: Southern style fried chicken, shrimp and grits, Hurricane Punch, fried Okra, cornbread & this delicious cocktail Jade made for us (apple something and Fireball). Also, Ms. T came out to check on us after the meal to see how we liked the food. Now, that's grade A service. We will definitely be going back soon! I predict The Quarter's will become a Kent landmark which will be loved by visiting and local diners alike.

We had one of the best dinner experiences we've ever had at The Quarters. The jambalaya was excellent, but the fried chicken was the best we've ever had! The sweet tea, fried okra, and collard greens were awesome. The service was excellent and friendly and they even had some live music. We cannot wait to go again!!!

I had dinner at The Quarter last night with my family. I was in town from the east coast (Boston) and in town for my nephew's graduation. We took a chance dining here because my family, who live locally, had never been here before. I have to say the food was FABULOUS, the restaurant is lovely, the staff are very, very warm and welcoming, and the owners were so nice and came out to interact with us after our meal. We had the salmon croquettes, jambalaya, fried chicken as entrées and collard greens, fried okra and mac and cheese. Everything was prepared perfectly. We had the sweet potatoe pie and beignets for dessert---OMG they were yummy. This spot is a must-eat-at restaurant. Can't wait to try their Sunday brunch next time I'm in town.

Whatever you do, dont order the Oxtail and grits. Worst Oxtail, I've ever had and the grits were...well giving them too much credit by calling them grits. $29 for horrible food?!?!?! Save your money!!

Ok, I am 3 days overdue for my review. I promised the lovely ladies at The Quarters that I would submit my review on Sunday. Well here goes.... My husband and I had a full Saturday as usual but we had previously made plans to check out this spot since it is about 5 minutes from our residence. We arrive around 8:30 and there are about 6 tables of people finishing their dinner and the owners doing a rendition of a Tina Turner hit! HA! I am already excited because these ladies seem like they are fun loving and enthused about their job, even though I am going to assume they have been working for more than 8 hours. After I have been on my job for 3 hours working in an office, I am pooped but I digress. We had an option of two other tables but we choose to sit by the exit door and close to the restroom. I and my hubby like to be adventurous. :) Anyway, Beth??? brought us menus and gave us the low down of the food specials and drink offerings and told us she would be right back. The ambiance was nice and chill like an upscale living room. Soulful music was playing and people were actually enjoying their meals and the compnay they were with instead of heads down eating while checking out facebook or whatever is on their cellphone of choice. Once again I digress. The menu is not extensive by any means. It consists of a few key staples, chicken wings, oxtails, shrimp and grits and a few sides. My husband and I wanted to try a few dishes to share and started with the Salmon Croquet special that included a shrimp ceasar salad and our entrees were the shrimp and grits and oxtails and grits. Each included greens and yams. We additionally ordered two chicken wings. Our drinks consisted of the hurricane punch concoction that was new to the menu. Our drinks came out quick but the entrees took a while. Considering that evertying is made to order, I was nice and happy with the wait. During this time, we checked out the bathroom (which was clean! YES) and consumed the lovely hurricane punch. Our meals arrive and we dig in. The chicken is just like home. Not perfect looking but damn good. Way better than Seattle's Ezell's and Heaven Sent stuff. As soon as you bite into the wing, I felt like my grandmother was at the table with me. It was so good. The greens were incredible. Just the right amount of meat in them to make me eat my greens and my husband's leftover portion the next morning. The Salmon Croquets were so good and savory. My husband had one and I had one so it is a great little apetizer to share. His shrimp and grits were nice and hearty yet light. The cheesiness didn't overpower the delicant consistancy of the grits or the bite of the shrimp. My oxtails and grits were good. Great....not so much. I like more of a gravy but I am still a fan of The Quarters oxtails. I didn't get a chance to eat my shrimp cesear becacuse well, I was freakin full. Don't worry my people, I did munch it down the next day. With our meals and another round of drinks, our bill came to about $100. Not bad for so much food and full leftovers for the next day. We will have to come back for brunch and also live music from 6-8 Thursday to Saturday. I am soooo happy that we have a place like this in Washington. I come from Chicago and we have great homecooking style restaurants all over the city and suburbs so I greatly appreciate the ladies from New Orleans, Milwayukee and New York, making Seattle (Kent) their home. Please come out and support these fabolous women!

I tried this place for the first time on Friday evening and it lived up to my high expectations. I loved the atmosphere (including live music), delicious food (I had the jumbalaya) and AMAZING customer service. My only "complaint" is I wish it was open later. :)

Just visited this place for the first time, and I can confidently say that this place will be a new staple in our routine. The food was amazing! Just what we were looking for--a little different but still recognizable to the sheltered eyes of a Washingtonian. We had the brunch, and although we were a little apprehensive due to the lack of choice (this IS the only choice)--the brunch comes with everything you could possibly want, including mimosas if so chooses. As far as the atmosphere, it was comfortable and sincere. I felt extremely welcomed. Even AFTER I asked the unforgivable--"so what do I do with these (these being grits)?" The co-owner Jade literally helped me make them into something delicious, AND genuinely wanted to know what we thought. Our server was also top shelf! Constantly smiling and a true asset to their team! I have been craving a local place with genuine people and extraordinary food, and it has finally been satisfied. Thank you Jade and T for bringing this gem to Kent! We will absolutely be back, and can't wait to try dinner!

Satisfied. Moved to Renton earlier this year and have been exploring the area and places to eat! Sadly, have been disappointed in a lot of the places I have tried..being a foodie, this is tough for me and Seattle can be a trek at times..but very happy to say I found a place I will come back to! Also be satisfied with spending my money on. One of the worst things for me is spending money on mediocre food....I digress, back to the restaurant! Food. Really good. Husband and I both agreed they used just enough spices on the dishes. We had the fried chicken with collard greens and fried okra. Also the jambalaya with smothered potatoes and cornbread. For dessert had the beignets...better than funnel cake. Made to order, warm and delicious! Price. The price was right. Really reasonably priced. Service. The ladies running the place are very nice and friendly! I told them I would spread the word to my friends...and yup, happy to!! Ambiance. The interior looks like it's still a little bit of a work in progress. There are empty areas that look a little awkward and could be filled with more tables. I am pretty sure they will be filled with patrons in no time! Also, they play live music on Thursdays, so we got a treat tonight with that. Yay! Will be back for shrimp and grits and Sunday brunch! Today was a good day with good food. Thank you!

This place is phenomenal: stellar service, scrumptious food, hip surroundings. Just walking in, we were immediately greeted by a feeling of family. We don't live nearby, but we are willing to drive an hour just to dine here.

OK so this place is good. I had the fried chicken with the mac and cheese greens and yams. Firstly the chicken was fried very dark but it was actually really good and didn't taste burnt. The mac and cheese has me weak in the knees and the yams were a bit overcooked but still good. I didn't like their greens but that's probably because my dads greens are the best ever. Overall clean and nice staff. I have also had the turkey necks and those are so good your eyes a tear up.

My boyfriend and I came to The Quarters for a late dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The owners were extremely nice and friendly, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cute and ambient. Come hungry because the portions are very big but affordable. We ordered the jambalaya and the oxtail which were both delicious and then had the beignets for dessert which we would have ordered more of if we weren't already stuffed. We can't wait to come back and try out their brunch menu!

The food is good, but the customer service and the management was rude and very unprofessional. I bought a Groupon and tried to make a reservation, but the online system wouldn't let me. When we called them about a reservation, they said we didn't need one. When we got to the restaurant, we were rudely told that they would not honor the Groupon because we didn't make an online reservation ! I told them I had called and was told we didn't need a reservation. "WELL, YOU didn't say you had a Groupon!"... I quickly contacted Groupon and got my $ refunded. I don't care if the food is good. NOTHING will make me go back to a restaurant that has such poor customer service and communication. Your customers keep your doors open. Lack of them can cause it to close. Learn to be kind to people. They didn't set your rules. 0 Stars do to 0 customer service.

Have you heard of The Quarters in Kent on First Avenue? If not you should. I have been there several times including today, Fathers Day brunch. Wow!! Food was awesome and service, as always , is friendly and caring. If you want a fairly priced, memorable southern meal..git down here !

  • Diane V.

Wow seriously. We tried salmon croquette sliders, sautéed PO boy, collard greens, jambalaya, and corn bread. Sliders were good but the po'boy was incredible. It's a must try... And try again.

    (5)
  • Ty D.

First, the good. Really nice staff. Excellent sweet tea. The shrimp on po' boy was first-rate. Chicken was moist. What needs work? The bread on the po' boy is not very good. You can't skimp on the quality of the bread. A southern boy never forgets bad bread. If you want to know what good bread on a po' boy is, go to Marcela's Creole in Seattle. Also, the sauce/dressing on the shrimp was ice cold. That's also a no-no. The chicken was too salty. It was nicely fried and moist, but way too salty. This place has tons of potential. However, the management and cook must focus on the details of the cooking. I live in Kent and I can tell you that Kent has very, very few good restaurants. If you make a good product and do it consistently, you will thrive.

First off this is the kind of place anyone in the Southend should support. We have enough Applebees. Second ignore the review that says they don't take credit cards. They do now. Had the brunch on Sunday. The chicken is really good, crisp and perfectly cooked. Found the salmon croquettes so-so, but for the most part the food was very good. Owners obviously want this to work and I assume whatever shortcomings they have they will continue to improve. Very nice people. I think the reviews I read here prior to going today were spot on.

My husband and I ate here Saturday night. We were so impressed by the food and service that I ended up going back the next day for their Sunday Brunch. I could not understand why the place wasn't packed with a line down and around the block to get in. For $19.99 you get, chicken and waffles, southern style eggs, home style potatoes, bacon, sausage, a salmon croquet, grits, and a mimosa. Everything was fabulous! For dinner the night before my husband and I both had the chicken. I brought home some leftovers for my kids and my daughter told me that she actually thinks their chicken is better then mine. I have to agree, I think it is too. If you get a chance please check it out. You will not be disappointed !

Turkey necks and collards were outrageously good. I can't recommend them highly enough. Service was fantastic. You have to look closely for the address, as I passed by without noticing it was there the first time, but it was worth the second trip around the block.

Insanely delicious food and plenty of it!!! We were downtown Kent, and saw the Sunday Brunch sign in the window so we stopped in. Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. If you are looking for a new place to eat with delicious food and a super friendly staff you will want to check this place out. My Ferdinand favorites from brunch were the Cajun eggs, bacon potatoes, chicken and waffles and grits. YUM!!!!

just went! had the jambalaya with shrimp, corn bread, macncheese, and giant chicken wing. my man had shrimp n grits with gumbo greens and sweet potatoes everything was great soul food, southern food, comfort food, -omazing they are still new so the menu was somewhat small, but a solid group and they were out of the ingredients for beignets :( but that will ensure another trip sooner rather than later - i didn't have room for everything so i got a box to-go and and drank all the sweet tea. i love that the atmosphere is classy in a bistro sort of way but also relaxed hospitality since we went at a slow time one of the owners waited on us and was so nice i even tried the greens (i dislike them) and hers were very good ! but the sweet potatoes are fire! now if they get a pit master and throw some bbq in the mix ill be set! i miss st louis bbq :) i feel like they should sell yoga pants with their logo on it so you can slip into something more comfy after a great meal and a happy Buddha belly worthy of after thanksgiving :)

The food and service here was fantastic! They had a really good live jazz guitarist playing when we were there... We ordered the jambalaya with chicken, cornbread and greens It was spicy and very flavorful. The cornbread was little dry but it didn't matter because everything else was just wonderful. We will definitely be going back again !

I cannot say enough about this place!!! If you live in Kent, Renton, Des Moines, Tukwila, Maple Valley, Auburn you need to come here immediately...If you live further out and it takes you an hour you still need to come here immediately! It's not just the food, which I will get to in a minute. What makes this restaurant are the owners, from the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome like you are e exactly where you should be. Friendly and "true" southern hospitality does not even begin begin to describe the owners. Jade and her sister are in the front of the house, "T" is in the back, they do not disappoint. The food, SO AMAZING! The Hurricane punch SO GOOD! Not only did we get to enjoy our food but "T" was trying a new recipe out and brought it from the back and let us have a taste. Let's just say this woman is the truth! I can't wait to see what else she puts on the menu. Go here, enjoy the food, enjoy the owners, enjoy the music, enjoy the atmosphere...You're welcome!

I heard "beignets" and decided this was definitely a place to check out. Reading the reviews was helpful as well. Here's our experience. We went around 6:00 on Friday night. First the cons. It's a fairly large space, but just a few tables. Makes sense, they're just starting out, I'm sure they'll bring in tables as more customers start coming in. Unfortunately, now, it adds to a feeling of cavernous. We were laughing about how the tables made us feel like we were at the kids' table. The chairs are not conducive to staying and conversing. My hip definitely got defiant on me. The middle of the table has a wine bottle with a flower in it for decoration. After trying to see past it to the person across the table for a while, we asked that it be removed. We watched the waitress put it on the counter next to about 6 others. Hmmmmm, evidently a lot of folks were deciding to take it off! The pros - oh, yeah, friendliness! Totally friendly and welcoming, lots of smiling, joking and having fun. The food is good (major yummy smothered potatoes) -- with one notable exception. For some reason the cornbread was rock hard. No butter, no honey with it. While that's my only complaint on the food, in my mind, it's a big deal. I like a buttery hot cornbread about to melt in my mouth, not something I could possibly pick up, toss and injure someone with. Also, to be fair, we didn't let the waitress know. She might have brought us cornbread that was palatable. The beignets. Suffice to state that we had two orders and not a crumb was left. Would I go back? Absolutely! However, I sure hope the cornbread improves.

We visited last night and were greeted warmly and seated promptly by a really nice gal. The first thing I noticed was the lights were so bright for night place. The place was cute with nice art work. It could have been great with lower lights and some candles. There were three women working two were very nice and friendly and one wasn't. Guess which one we got? I can't say she was mean just disinterested and did not listen to anything we said. We tried to chat a bit and nothing. They were not that busy. My husband told her he had lived in New Orleans and she just said do you want a drink? This being a New Orleans restaurant we thought it was kinda fun to mention. Well we did want a drink but she didn't listen and we got the wrong beer . There are only two kinds so she had a 50 50 chance. We asked what she thought about the Jambalaya and all she said was do you want to add shrimp for an extra charge? That should have been the tip off. We ordered the Jambalaya and the chicken wing dinners. When our food arrived she sat it down and we asked for salt, pepper and hot sauce and she didn't even look at us just said it's coming. Somebody else got it for us. We ordered 2 more beers and said Jax beer please and again didn't get it becuse she didn't listen just brought us 2 more of what we had before which had been wrong.. The wing dinner ($17) had 4 huge wings nice and crispy but a tad over cooked ,the mac and cheese was good, collard greens and the corn bread were very good. The Jambalaya ($17) was just sad very small portion and bland and sparce just red rice and some sliced smoked sausage. What? Where's the Holy trinity, the veges, the chicken, the seafood, the flavor? It could have been a Lipton side dish. again $17 it came with a wing ,okra and corn bread the okra was good as was the cornbread. One of the other lady's came by and chatted a bit before we left. Very nice girl. I really liked the 2 women who were the heart of this place. You know what I think of the third. I really want this place to do well and with a few changes I think it could . The prices are high but doable IF the quality and portion size were matching.

Completely and totally rude when I called to confirm a reservation. I really wanted to try this restaurant because the reviews on the food look great but based on the phone service (laughed at me when I asked if I could come in tonight even though my reservations couldn't be confirmed and told it wasn't her problem)

Outstanding. I am very excited to have The Quarters in Kent. I had dinner there last Saturday. Oxtail, cornbread, greens and candied yams. Each was excellent. My husband had the fried chicken and loved it. We ended the meal with a shared plate of beignets. The food arrived quickly and our waitress was welcoming and energetic. We will be back - perhaps for the Sunday brunch.

The Quarters has wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. We were happily jamming out to the jazz that was playing as we waited for our food. The food was delicious! Their fried chicken and beignets are to die for. Wonderful people, will be returning soon. :)

Visiting from California thought we would try this southern food. Yummy and more! We ordered two meals in a way so we could try all sides. We had the fried chicken wings. Crispy on outside and moist inside. And they weren't your appetizer size. They we were from big chickens. We also had turkey necks. Seemed different. They had so much rich flavor and they were big too. I couldn't decide which side was the best. Baked Mac/cheese, fried okra, yams, smothered potatoes, or yummy jumbalya. Service, they treated us like family. Very casual. They gave a free dessert of beignets and sweet potato pie. And the craziest part, we had enough leftovers for another whole meal. All this for just a mere $36 that included one drink.

I've spent my share in the French quarter and I have to say, these ladies have done this!!! Ms. Jade is the sweetest and knows her southern hospitality! My boyfriend and I ( he is always brining in new folks) had a nice romantic dinner there Saturday night. The food ( shrimp and grits, salmon croquettes, side of jumba and collards) were the s#*+!!!! And the beignets? I almost wet my pants! Everything was top notch and I tip my hat off to the Chef, Ms. T. Our waitress was amazing ( I'm sorry honey, I forgot your name:( was one of the best I've ever had. Please go see these girls, you will not be disappointed. I've judged at the bite of Seattle for several years, so I may know what I'm talking about when it comes to food :)

We don't know how we've missed this place, it has been open since July, 2014. I bought a Groupon, and WE are glad I did. The poo' boy shrimp sandwich was tasty. The chicken wings were delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive. We want to try their brunch!
