Have you ever wanted to come out of a restaurant smelling like "Eau de Fish" after eating? What's that? You have? Well then, this, my friend, is the place to go. But seriously. The fish odor is SO strong when you enter that you just might find yourself searching for the whale that must be in the dining room. Holy crap it's bad. Aside from that, this buffet is ok I guess. There's the usual fare you'd expect at "just ok" buffets and a few surprises too. They have a pho bar (which I almost hit up and then ran the other way when I overheard someone complaining about theirs), lots of oh-so-healthy fried food, sushi (my companion ate a lot but I stayed away - my 4-year-old could cut raw fish better than that.), plenty of dessert options, some salads and fruit, and the requisite seafood. The seafood seemed to be the highlight: crab legs, shrimp (which my companion also stuffed himself on), decent yet forgettable salmon, and crawfish. (How the heck do you eat crawfish?? Guess I need to google that.) The servers were friendly enough and the fish pond by the entrance was a cute touch and a hit with the kids. The price, $12.99 for dinner, is a little high for the quality but within reason. I think they've actually hit their price point right on because this is basically a satisfactory buffet for those who are too lazy to drive all the way to Muckleshoot or Southcenter for something better. Oh and the kicker? It's been four hours since we left and no one in our family has had to spend the entire night in the bathroom. Success!

I'm surprised at some of the reviews I'm reading because I feel like this is one of the better cheap buffets around. They have a good variety of food here. I've been here twice and over stuffed my stomach both times. I love that they have their own Pho making section. I haven't been to an Asian buffet that offers a make-your-own Pho spot. The crab is pretty good here. My friend had about 2 plates full. The butter? Ehh.. It's pretty fake tasting. They're always well stocked on their food and they don't let it just sit there until it's old and dried out. They continue to replace it with newer and fresh food.

I don't ENJOY bashing on places.... .... ........ that said.... at least their sesame red bean balls are good? .....

Better Chinese buffet than I've ever had.

Don't worry, guys! I'm still alive! I figured every Asian restaurant in Bellevue and Seattle would have been super busy during Chinese New Year and my boyfriend just decided last minute that he wanted to celebrate the occasion. So, I made the suggestion to come to this ominously named place since it was close to home and relatively cheap. I'm not sure if many of you know (because I don't), but there is also another Super Buffet up in Northgate. I'm not sure if these two buffets are related. But I can tell you that the quality could be about the same food-wise. Everything is fried, everything is greasy and you probably leave consuming maybe a cup of cooking oil. Actually, a majority of my meal was eating snow crab legs. Maybe it was because it looked like it was one of the few things that wouldn't make my stomach turn, or maybe it was because it could very well be one of the healthiest entrees you eat at the restaurant. In any case, it was simply cooked very much like how it would be cooked anywhere else you would go for crab legs. The rest of the food is either fried and heavily breaded or drowned in an overpowering sauce. But I do admit some dishes like the baked crab meat and some other seafood entrees were okay. Basically, it's an apocalypse-in-your-bathroom waiting to happen, so eat moderately! The servers may not always have smiles on their faces, but they really get the job done. The troughs are constantly being refilled to feed the pigs and our empty/dirty plates were continuously picked up consistently, so I have no complaints on service. They actually have a lot of fresh fruit (pineapple, oranges, and strawberries) along with other desserts which I kind of was weary of, but the fruit was good! It took about an hour for the discomfort from that day's lunch before the urge to purge arose, which is not too bad, I suppose. My advice is to make the best out of your visit and the price you pay and just make sure you eat a LOT of crab legs. You can't go wrong with all-you-can-eat crab legs for the price you pay here. Oh - and maybe think about going for a 3 mile jog afterwards...not immediately after, but maybe by the following day, to ease some of the regret from eating so much SUPER food.

I treated my family out on 3-20-14. Food was cold & old. Crabs was so dry. Noodles stayed cold, desert cakes was dry, steamed beef bun was like eating a ball of dry paper. The staff was friendly but food was very disappointing.

Tried to eat here on a Sunday evening. There were so many people in the doorway and absolutely no organization or greetings from the staff. Many people just stood around in the doorway confused as to where to go or who to talk to in order to get seated. I don't blame the place for the amount of people....but I blame them for not organizing things better. Never got to taste the food :/ which is even more frustrating because there were far more people waiting in the doorway than there were people dining.

Went here for dinner tonight with some co-workers and thought this was a place to try out since I haven't been to this one before. I had tried some of the other super buffets around town. There is a good variety of items to choose from as they have different seafoods and meats plus your usual Asian menu items for a buffet. What seems to be lacking is any real flavor to the foods. It was either too salty or very bland tasting. At least they had decent service in where they picked up our plates and refilled our drinks quickly. The other bonus was that for the price of dinner was about $15 per person and decor was nice in the restaurant.

One star for friendly staff and one star for drink servers. Lacking freshness, pot stickers taste like from yesterday and re heated. Food quality has dropped from when they first opened. I used to look forward to eating here but now wouldn't waste gas driving here

They have baked salmon that I ate. I do not care for salmon but decided to eat it here since I do not buy it nor make it. I have trouble trying to find a main dish here to go with all the side dishes. I usually take spicy Indian chicken which isn't very good but it is the best thing I can find to eat. The fresh fruit is tasteless and the cake desserts have a small refrigerator taste to them. They have banana pudding that I like. I still recommend trying this place but walk in before 2:45 p.m. so you only pay the lunch price. It's not a good sign when you go to a buffet and have trouble finding a main dish to pig out on.

  • Mo O.

The food was good at first, but quality has dropped. They always have a good variety and the price was good. Most recent visit made us sick, though so we haven't been back for awhile

  • Angelic L.

Your typical Asian buffet. The food is mediocre at best, but when you're trying to feed a huge family of at least 30 people, there's only so many places you can go to. Asian buffets are at the top of the list. Really, this place is more like 2 stars, but I'm giving it 3 because they had lots and lots of crab legs to eat!

We went here on a Sunday night, and paid 17.95 a person since the special was unlimited lobster... It was crazy as the section where the lobster was located was hounded by people waiting to get their hands on some lobster. I mean seriously? It makes sense they would do it to get their money worth but I think they should at least bring it more often than every 15 mins. Just seeing that was weird, because it shouldn't be that way. What's the point of paying extra for lobster when only a handful of people actually get to grab some. Anyways, the food wasn't that good for the price, I didn't really like anything that much. The food was bland or too salty or not tasteful at all. For the dishes that were good like the Chinese donut or ice cream, you could find anywhere else for a much cheaper price.I do have to say that the crab was in abundance so if you want to come here and eat crab--be my guest. I would skip here and try the other places. The service was good for a buffet--they were able to give you refills and take away empty dishes from your table like they are suppose too.

Ok so there are tons of choices.. all kids of Asian choices Chinese and Japanese foods, also pizza and garlic bread for the kids. They also have a Pho and mongolian hot grill option. Some options are not the best flavor.. but this is a buffet so its expected. The price is also pretty good for a Chinese buffet average $7 for lunch and $13 for dinner (not Fri sat)

    (3)
  • Lynette D.

Staff here are super friendly and accommodating. They'll remember you and your prefers! Hot foods are good enough to keep you coming back. I love the herb crusted salmon. They have a pho bar and a Mongolian grill. Deserts are decent...especially the custard baked into edible rice paper...deliciously sweet and salty. The sushi bar is always filled...but it's only as good as one could expect from a buffet. Everything is mostly fresh...the fruit section sometimes ends up on the mushy side. Overall, you get great variety, good food, and wonderful service. Good bang for your buck!

I saw some awesome reviews and wanted to check it out. I can so the first review was right. There was a weird aftertaste to their food. I can say that they had a awesome selection of food. The unfortune thing with the large selection was the bad taste of it. Their customer service was limited to taking your drink order and your empty plate. The one good thing about this place is the pond display as you walk thru the door.

  • S M.

Nice curbside appeal but the food is really bad. Even my hungry teenagers weren't able to find much to eat here. The food looked and tasted as if it had been out for hours. We stayed for less than 30 minutes and went home to make sandwiches.

    (1)
  • Wayne C.

Been here a few times and never got sick. And when I'm at a buffet, I like to try a little of everything. But they have so many choices it's hard to do. Price is consistent with buffets in the area. Food was good. Will be back

Went here a little while ago when my girlfriend and I were too lazy to drive all the way to Federal Way to go to Main Buffet and we didn't want to spend a fortune going to Mizuki. Really wished I hadn't been so stingy that night . The quality of the food was more than disappointing. Either it lacked flavor or it just looked like it had been left out for hours. I'm not really sure.. It just did not look appetizing nor edible. I didn't even want to touch the seafood in fear I'd end up with food poisoning. The sad part is I can't think of a more eloquent term but ghetto when it comes to describing the inside of this place. The icing on the cake though was how our waiter saw the stacks of plates piling up on our table and empty drinks but chose to simply ignore it. Save your money, you're better off going to Old Country Buffet.

The prices are some what "OK". The food is some what "OK", and the location is some what "OK". That's all folks!

Went in expecting average or less but I was pleasantly surprised when it the food actually tasted good I would have given a four star but apparently kids 10 or older cost the same as an adult so ruin my mood a bit.

Oh my god, this place is so ghetto. Maybe i'll start with the only decent thing about this restaurant: it's really cheap. BUT, you definitely get what you pay for that's for DAMN sure! The lobby is a mess. There's a really underkept indoor pond that really looks odd in the waiting area. The water looked dirty and all I could say is "hot mess." I sat down at a booth, the restaurant doesn't look tidy at all. I made the rounds at the buffet tables and literally the variety was unimaginable--but not in a good way. You know the saying "jack of all trades, but not a master at one?" I guess you can apply that to how they approach their dishes. There wasn't one dish that I was impressed with. Some of the food was cold on the buffet table, some of the food were under seasoned, and the seafood (my god!) was not fresh at all. The crab legs looked like they were decomposing and the shrimp had odd looking black spots on it. I guess that is to be expected when they have kept the seafood in their back room since 2010! I lied there is another decent thign about this restaurant: service was really punctual. The waiter always cleared my plate, refilled my drink, etc. But I really can't get past the uncleanliness and bad food here. My suggestion: Go to main japanese buffet in federal way or king's buffet in Renton. Better yet, there's an old country buffet across the street which would likely be a better option!

Holy cow this place is terrible. I've never felt more compelled to try to eat as much as I could to make the trip worth it ... but I still failed. So get this, this place looks like it was transformed from a gym of some sort with a smallish pond at the entrance and neat stuff as the decor (the only thing worth it really). I guess there are 2 problems with this place: 1. the place itself and 2. the people who go here. 1. The place itself is rather dirty, the floors were dirty and the food was not good at all. The best items i found were the garlic bread and the dessert... that's the BEST things out of everything a chinese buffet has to offer!!!! Everything else was mediocre or bad. 2. The people as in the customers. I've never seen a place where 2-3 people were hawking over the crab legs section like vultures. I mean it was crazy.... Definitely not worth the $13.99 i paid for... not even worth $6.99.

The actual manager of the restaurant contacted my boyfriend a while back regarding his experience. He apologized for what happened and invited us back, which is appreciated, however, I doubt we'll be back in. An experience like this is not something you forget, and with other reviews I've read, there's work that needs to be put into this place. Hopefully the restaurant management will take these reviews seriously (and consider the filtered ones as well) and do what they need to do to generate not only better business for them, but better customer satisfaction.

We've eaten here a couple times over the last year or so, and it just keeps getting worse. We will not be back there. The food obviously had been sitting and most of what we got was cold. The only hot food served were dishes that had just been refilled and there weren't many. it wasn't very busy and we should have gone somewhere else. There are other buffets much better than this. They may offer a large selection of food, but if it just sits there for hours, the quality deteriorates quickly. Now we are just hoping not to end up sick from tonight's dinner. We hardly ate anything and shelled out over $30.

Like others have said, this is your typical asian buffet. However, I've experienced much better, even in Kent! My boyfriend and I ventured here after seeing a flyer about it. We're big fans of buffets, so we decided to try it out! The decor is nicely done... The restaurant was pretty busy as well! The servers were decent, and there was a ton of selections to choose from. So why the two stars? Quality and Safety. The quality of the food was nothing to boast about. Everything was mildly warm at best, lacked flavor, and it seemed like everything I tried, from the different types of chicken and beef to some of the seafood was extremely chewy! It tasted like the food had been sitting around for at least 4-6 hours. At a good buffet, the food may have been sitting around for a while, but they keep it warm and it doesn't taste stale. As well, I noticed that some of my food was undercooked (YOU MUST COOK SEAFOOD THOROUGHLY)! As a plus, they did have a lot of crab legs, oysters, and steamed clams, which weren't bad. But, for $30+ dollars for two people on a Sunday, we could have grabbed something much better and worth the cost.

This buffet is ok, I've had way better. The food tastes old and hard. The desserts tastes like refridgerator.

Bullet points about my experience: * Service was decent * Food quality was inconsistent (some food tasted okay, others were over cooked/dry/old) * Selection was basic variety for a asian buffet * Other customers make the dining experience nauseating. I had to tell another diner that he had to use the thongs to pick up sushi. He was picking it up with his bare hands. The restaurant's sushi chef obviously had no problem with what he was doing. * If you are seated by the windows, it's difficult to get out of the dining room to get food since there are too many tables. Basically, I have to cut through other diner's chairs to get my next plate. Overall: Although I am hoping quality improves over time, right now this restaurant could use better staff to maintain cleanliness and order of the buffet, a better layout for the dining room to promote flow of traffic, and simply fresher food when there is none. Last thoughts: There are other places in the Kent area to get Asian food.

Another average asian buffet. The selection were plenty. This place seem pretty clean when I came here. Waitress was friendly and was quick to get refills on our drinks. 2.5 Stars

I love Yelp because their review are always right. My family went to try the Super Buffet this Saturday. Some of food were so salty and others didn't have any flavor. . I wouldn't go this place again.

First time here... Great food! Galore of fresh seafood, hot dishes, sushi and desserts! Huge array of selection of your typical Asian/American buffet. I've been to most of the Chinese buffets around the South end area and this one is one of the better ones for the money. The food is fresh and the service is better than most. Tip: Sunday lunch - crazy! Expect long lines waiting to get a table.

As I'm scanning the reviews, I'm not sure if anyone knows or remembers this was a skating rink before they converted it to a restaurant. My daughter remembered where the rink was and where she was standing with her friends, etc. For those who live on the East Hill, you probably do remember and sadly my daughter prefers it was still the skating rink. It didn't sound like they did much to the floor though. I've mentioned this before, living on East Hill Kent, there are just sooo much options for eating choices. I tried it and it was mediocre. I didn't even want to try the sushi, looked questionable. the steamed fish is usually tasty. otherwise it's hit or miss on the others. I went twice and think that's it for me.

My parents live close by and wanted to take my wife and I here for dinner. This place is pretty new, only a couple months old. Seems to be several reviews bashing the place already, ouch! Hmmmm, I dont know but Im a buffet addict and this place was surely no different then the 4-5 other china buffets I frequent in seattle, lynnwood and everett. They had pretty decent crab legs, we all ate a ton of them, the hot food and mongolian grill was decent. Also a average dessert selection, No complaints here at all, nothing really bad and nothing great....I would likely come back when in the area.

An all you can eat lunch/dinner buffet. Sushi, crab, chicken, pizza, pasta, soups, dim sum, desserts and many more. Staff clears your table as you go back for 2nds, 3rds... The decor was chinese, but didn't have much a chinese feel aside from the staff.

Not sure why there are two pages for Super Buffet ( yelp.com/biz/super-buffe… ).. It's not even super.. So I'm pretty much gonna copy and paste the same thing I wrote for the other page. Visited the place because it had just recently opened and we wanted to try it out. The decor was pretty nice, especially the entrance, you go over a moat-type bridge kind of thing. Soo, that's pretty much the only nice/good thing about this place. When we were being seated, the lady pretty much just had us follow her around until she could find an empty place to have us sit. She brings us to a table that was dirty and had food scraps on it. She told us to go ahead and get our food and they would have the table cleaned for us. First station I hit was the sushi. The selection was horrible, it was pretty much all the same types of rolls with different things slathered on top: wasabi, spicy salmon, avacado, different sauces. Then they had a couple types of nigiri, egg and some type of fish. Definitely not salmon or tuna. Walked around to scope out the selection of food, and it was pretty comparable to any other type of Chinese buffet. Had all the regular type of food you'd expect. Only thing that discouraged me was that the more popular items weren't being replenished very fast, like hardly at all. It wasn't even busy. Lastly, the waiter service was horrible. They didn't ask us what we wanted to drink, we had to stop someone and ask for our drinks when we already had our food. And they never came around to give us refills. If you wanted anything, you'd have to flag someone down. They all looked like they were bored.

For $8.99 for lunch it is better than most buffets. Had a lot of variety of chicken and other things. The sushi was fine. The waitstaff were friendly and almost hovering to clear your plates and refill your drinks. We would go back.

It's hard to get a 1 from me (for that matter, it's hard to receive a 5 too) but this buffet I was VERY close in giving it a 1....the only thing that prevented me from doing so was because I have to give it credit for the "variety" that it had. Maybe i'm just more into quality over quantity but then again this IS a buffet, so 2 stars it was. With that said though, by variety of food, I meant there were like 5 calamari/squid dish. So same ingrediants, different sauce. There were fried squid, sauteed squid, cold squid app. thing, tempura squid, etc. then there were fried shrimp, shrimp with vegetable, cocktail shrimp, you get the idea.....which would ALL be fine, if they actually taste good....i was not impressed with the flavors......and service was SLLLOOOOWWWW.....i had to ask for everything 3 times before i'd get it. There was one thing that I liked from the buffet, it was the orange dipping sauce that made all my fried stuff taste 10 times better. I'd good elsewhere for food next time.

It is as many other Chinese Buffets go just okay. What sets it apart is that the Sushi is awesome, the selections are a plenty and service is good. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but wouldn't turn it down.

  • Keithly E.

Went here last Saturday when they serve crab and lobster. It was only $16 per person. The food was ok, there was a bit more variety than most chinese buffets. The crab was delicious, and for that price I really can't complain. Their dessert was good too. I had this cake that tasted like coffee and the flavor was really tasty. Most places I've been to in the past had many flavorless desserts, this is not like that at all.

This place is horrible!!!! Every time I come here I've gotten bad service. It never fails i feel like I'm being rushed to finish eating and pay. This last time I went I paid cash and didn't get cash back. The waitress just assumed it was her tip (which it wasn't). The food is fine but you can find the same somewhere else in kent. Never going back! I've had enough of the staff here

I juz came back from super buffet. I want to ask where people took those wonderful photos, which are totally different from reality!! This buffet is cheap, so I don't expect much about food quality. At least, I should get full, the point is, the food suck!!! I don't even want to feed myself full there! My boyfriend get stomachs when we were on the way home!!! I will never and ever go there any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service is awesome. I've been there about eight times in the past six months and have not been disappointed! Everything I have tried is excellent. If you go on Sundays when they open at 10:30 you get yummy crab legs with everything else for $13.99/pp! It's so worth it!! They even have a pho and mongolian grill station. Parking is great also. Very clean establishment. We will be coming back here again and again. They even have fresh fortune cookies :-)

This is a wonderful place to eat. The variety is enormous and the price is very fair for what you get. I still haven't tried all the food as there as so much to choose from. I would recommend this place to all who want alot of choices and good prices!

  • Warren C.

The decor is very elegant and beautiful, from chandeliers, water fountain, paintings, and corked artworks. The food, on the other hand seems pretty simple, typical, and most times, bland. There's a good selection of dim sum and Chinese food, and the Japanese foods are limited. The prices for lunch and dinner are cheap. ($8-$15).

Place is big but tables are crammed in so can be tight. The food selection is pretty decent with a mongolian style grill bar and a sushi bar on top of the standard chinese and dessert bar. The food selections and taste wise was pretty much like most chinese buffetts but a little more selection. They all pretty much have the same stuff and taste. Went on a weekend so the price was $14.99 11 years on up. Under 10 is like $8.00 and drinks extra. The mongolian grill I won't comment on because it is only good as the ingredients you pick and create. The sushi bar was basically fake crab california roll style rolls with slight twists to create more selections. The nigri sushi were topped with paper thin slices of fish. Most of the sushi had a lot of rice and were too sweet. Not good sushi, but your standard ehh chinese buffet sushi. The potstickers and shumai were just nasty. Tasted nothing like dim sum nor meat for that matter. They had lobster and crab on the weekends and it was chopped up into pieces and stir fried. Tasted alright if you can get some and it's not something they rush to refill or maybe I was just unlucky and the rude people are loading up. The crab legs I got to admit were nice and big and meaty. Not like some other places where the legs are like a pencil and not worth your time to get a tiny sliver of meat if any. Like I said , if you have eaten at a lot of chinese buffets, then you know what to expect in selection, taste and quality.

  • Hollie T.

They have a very wide selection of food to choose from, I came in at 9:30 when they were supposed to close and they allowed me to come in and dine anyway. They were very accommodating and even specially prepared some fried rice without meat for me. I would dine here again for sure.

This place has lots of potential to be a decent buffet in Kent. Unfortunately it did not live up to that. It ranks as one of the most horrible restaurants I've been to as far as food and service goes. Some of the food was either bland, salty, or dry, and looked unappetizing. When I received my bill, they added gratuity tax and even tried to pocket the rest of my change! The only attracting thing about this place is the price. Even with that, you're better off going elsewhere.

I like coming to this place for the food and atmosphere. I'm not too picky of an eater and am willing to try things. But I must mention not as a negative but a statement that not all the food items that are heated are hot. Some are warm. Esp the seafood aside from that disclaimer, the food is really tasty and the tapioca is legit! I came during lunch special hours and it is 8 per person. Can't complain about that. There are better places, but overall I would def come back

So I went here with my husband and our 2 children for dinner. I don't think I will be returning here to eat. 1st) the place is OVERPRICED especially for the QUALITY of food that they serve. For the four of us we spent $60. my children are under 10 so I wasn't paying for teenagers to say the least. The selection of food is quite large but the taste was very bland. And at that point you just try to eat something to get your moneys worth. The seating is very cramped and not too comfortable. nothing really stood out to me as something I really enjoyed other than the crab legs and the crawfish (my husband enjoyed) but I live around the corner and went all the way to west Seattle to eat at another buffet which has better tasting food and better prices. The plus about this place is the entry with the pond & fish and art work very well decorated but I doubt people go there for the interior decor. my opinion skip this place not worth the price they charge you.

My fiancee and I were first drawn here by a coupon for 10% off certain days, and with a weekday off, a lunch buffet deal was a great start to try. With about as much selection as some of the other buffets in the area, Super Buffet doesn't distinguish itself too much. Its nice to watch the sushi rolls rolled fresh, and to see continual refills of the crab legs and salt and pepper shrimp on the buffet areas. There's good varieties of all of the usuals and nothing too far from the norm that you'd find, but its prepared well and refreshed consistently. The wait staff/bus staff are friendly, and attentive. Some of the seafood could be cooked better, but there's a nice variety of sushi, and being a buffet, my expectations of food quality aren't the highest. Definitely recommend with or without a coupon. They have a decent price one way or the other.

The place is cutesy inside and the workers are friendly and fairly hard working. The buffet price is $15.99 which isn't bad at all for a buffet. They have shellfish seafood, typical Americanized Chinese food, sushi, pho, fruits and desserts which includes a dirty and sketchy soft serve ice cream machine, fried foods, "vegetables", and the random, lonely pizza that makes everyone wonder why it's even in a Chinese buffet. My favorite things here are the hot and sour soup, and even the egg drop soup (fix it with soy sauce and pepper at your table), as well as the puny crawfish.. Only because it's all you can eat crawfish and the spice is nice. All the good things stop there. My parents like coming here because it's quantity and it's worth the buck... Truly a money pinchin' Asian tiger mom's dream. I personally try to suggest other places just because I find the quality subpar for even my taste... And I'm not a picky eater! It's oil oil oil. I mean, with all the grease it had, I wouldn't have minded some more MSG (gasp!) cus then maybe it would at least taste like something besides oil. Be prepared to break your diet big time here, no matter how hard you try. Even the vegetables are 80% oil, 2% vegetable, and 18% unknown. Nothing healthy here unless you're okay with eating wasabi and pickled ginger over at the sushi bar (the nigiri here scares me btw). Subpar quality, but quantity for a decent price. I only ever go here when my parents want to.

Only good thing about this place is the price. I decided to give you a second try after the last time where I found MOLD yes MOLD!!!!! As in spoiled, no good, not for consumption bacteria!!!! Today, the crab was over cooked, no flavor and once again mold in the desserts. And don't get me started on the service. We had more than 5 plates of dirty dishes (my mom loves her seafood) piled on our table, the server who was standing around doing nothing, mind you he was right behind us. He looked at us constantly but was acting as if he was oblivious and as if we weren't there. This went on for 45 minutes. We finally HAD TO ASK for a refill on drinks. The server never came to check on us, and he was a jerk to us by having the nerve to ask for a tip!!!! Dude you didn't do anything!!!! I had to walk up to your manager to get our table cleared and our bill!!!! Worst service experienced here

Don't let the nice fancy decor fool you. The restaurant and food may look nice, but the taste wasn't. A lot of the items tasted a bit bland and wasn't cooked well (either overcooked or left out for too long). First of all, their pho and hibachi sucked. Especially the pho. The soup was so bland that it just tasted like hot water with some salt and msg. The noodles didn't even seem like real pho noodles. Second of all, the servers and other workers didn't seem that friendly. The guy that served the lobster was being rude when my step-dad wanted a certain piece. He just randomly gave him a small piece. Honestly, the lobster didn't even taste that good either. It tasted like shrimp, haha. Lastly, the dessert was probably my favorite as usual (being the person with the hugest sweet tooth). The lychee jello was good! So was the soft-serve ice cream! It tasted more creamy and sweeter than other buffets. They also had these yummy sugar coated peanuts (?) that were so bomb and addicting! Bottom line, the dinner price was $15.99 per person and it was totally not worth it! I don't think I'll be coming back.

Lunch price is $8.99 and to be honest this place isn't bad for the price, they have pretty good selection of food also have sushi bar, and soup bar. They also have a variety of desserts!

I write this as I sit wondering what I ate that now my mouth is swelling as an allergic reaction. It has been a long time since I've been to a buffet. It is possible I've outgrown these kinds of places...so keep in mind it's not Sang Kee in Cherry Hill. I cannot expect a hot dog to be steak...that is a metaphor even though this place serves both. This was better than the worst, but I could taste the "old" in the meat. The duck gave its life to become mulch. It's me it's not you...well it's a little you. In a word...meaty-ocre. Staff was nice.

The food was really not all that impressive. There was a pretty good variety but unfortunately, there was so much sodium in everything. Mostly fried items which is fine but makes your throat super dry. The egg drop soup really took the cake. It literally was yellow. Sort of like the same color as corn oil. It was rather scary. Having said that, you really don't have many options around the area and the price wasn't too bad. Try it if you need to.

Ate tonight with family at this place 3 hrs ago and I must say their food appetizers do look delicious to try and taste as a meal plus it sure is a super packed restaurant with so many people in there. I tasted the lobster first time at this place, it was good but when I cracked open the shell, the food became watery then lobster meat but in my opinion probably I am not a lobster person but it was a good taste for a change. The restrooms were a bit uncleaned and so many clogged toilets in one of the three stalls but luckily I was able to use one that was sanitized and clean before I used it. The thing I look in good service restaurants is good customer service, a HUGE variety of different appetizers to try but also sanitation in restrooms as well especially after eating three plates of meals while keeping myself clean. To be fair, I will give a 3 star for great services. If I see improvement the next time I come back, then I will give a big 4 star for sure! ;D

The food was better than the reviews give credit. It was good . There was a lot that was offered. They had a pho bar, Mongolian grille, lobster, a ton of fish, Chinese food, salad, fruit, And of course dessert. The food was fresh. Like any place you like some stuff and not other stuff The place smelled not so good as you walked in. The carpet is in need of shampooing. The floor was was sticky, overall it is a little run down. The tables, chairs, seating in need of an upgrade. We went out looking for a Chinese buffet and left satisfied. Cost about 40$ including tip for dinner for 2.

Sorry, Y'all that got the firecracker turd pants as claimed by the lower reviews. But I...and my gastric-sensitive boyfriend, my dad, and my 4 year old sister...really enjoyed our meals here. I like Hibachi Buffet a lot. This place though. ..more seafood. That's why I am here, making a damn fool of myself with 6 plates of different kinds of crab, whole fried shrimp (I eat the whole. Shrimp. Try it. ), calamari legs (juicy and chewy and fried lightly), and steamed clams. Bathrooms don't look like that scene from The Shining, where blood pours around the corner. Still....don't forget a seat liner. Service was minimal in a good way. I could play "crab claw duel wars" with my little sister without feeling judged. If I was, I didn't notice. Valpak coupon made my "crabby" tummy worth it. (No, I did not get food poisoning. ) *joy

Had lunch here Friday, Oct. 10. This was probably my 50th meal at Super Buffet, and as always it was great: fresh sushi, a variety of appetizers and main dishes. Looking at some of the other reviews... I'm truly stumped by the negative reactions. I've been eating Chinese food for 50 years, up and down the west coast, and I find nothing wrong with this buffet. More specifically I've never "found a roach on my table" (the restaurant is clean), never had a bad meal, never gotten sick or had any problems. I guess I don't have the redneck animus toward non-white servers that produce some comments. Scott B.'s 8/17/2014 review also gave this place five stars. But he's a chef - what does he know? Having been in business for myself I resent uninformed, vindictively negative opinions about a business. There's a broad spectrum of opinions here. Try it yourself, make up your own mind.

Yikes is all I can say. Cheap prices for cheap quality. I can't be sure as to how fresh (or not fresh) the food was. Skip this and go for better quality, but I guess people should going into an Asian buffet that you will usually get quantity over quality

This place was disgusting . The crabs were bad. My girlfriends crab smelled like ammonia . I guess they were bad and washed them in ammonia to cover the funk. Don't eat her

Definitely just A-Ok! Not too shabby, but not so fancy. On a cheat meal whim, I begged my father and family to come cheat with me so I could find something tasty to indulge in. We came on a Friday night for dinner time, and to my surprise, it was not packed at all. It's very spacious parking and inside it also has two sides so it will fits lots of parties! The center is where the food is... it is mainly mediocre "American" Chinese food and mediocre American food. They obviously cater to that audience with tons and TONS of oil in every little thing they cook. I like to sample at buffets just so I can try everything and go for seconds after that. I literally tried almost everything! Their hot wings, per American style were okay. Tasted like frozen quality. Their frog legs were tasty, as well as the broccoli chicken. They have TONS of variety...literally some mayo chicken and shrimp, to stir fry beef, to baked clams and steamed crab... and LOBSTER. YES. Delicious, fresh, tasty, and addictive LOBSTER! They give you one at at time, but shoot, that's not gonna stop me. More reason to get up and burn those few calories so I can fit more in my bellay! Lol. My favorite was definitely the lobster and the SUSHI BAR! YUM. It was fresh and delightful. Super, super sweet and nice sous chefs and they did a great job. Loved the assortments. Overall, their hot foods are typically fresh as they come and you can never really run out of something. Greasy, fat, oily, and sometimes overly salty or overly just oily. Good variety though, which is a plus. You have vegetarian options, fish/seafood options, and so forth. Their desserts were great in assortment but not in flavor. The cream puffs were dry but the cream was alright. Their cakes were not memorable but more so dry. Actually, most of their desserts were almost untouched. So that made them pretty dry. Mehhh. Their fruit bar/salad bar has the best, hella bomb lychee jello and mango jello. I was obsessed! I definitely ate a lot of those and served myself some soft-serve ice cream. Yumm! Overall, they're okay service and food is okay. They took our plates...and I'm sure they were not prepared for how we eat...because we eat plates on plates on plates lol. I swear the waitress was avoiding us in the end, haha, just kidding. Definitely go for the lobster and sushi bar and the jello!

I visited this place two days ago. FAIL! I had high hopes based on comments by others. I didn't see it. The restaurant was located in a strip mall where every other business was closed. The food in the restaurant was either overcooked, or it was undercooked. The meat dishes appeared to have been sitting under hot lamps for way too long. The salad bar was "fair", you only had one choice of chopped romaine lettuce, no spinach, iceberg or otherwise other options to make a salad. The service was slow despite the restaurant being only one-fourth full, (we arrived at about 4:30 p.m.). The scariest food offering was the Sushi (if you can call it that), to put it simply, the fish was "gray" and inedible - didn't even make an attempt. I would not recommend this place and needless to say, I will not subject myself nor my family to this adventure again. Go somewhere else People!!!

Came here to celebrate my Nephew's first bday. The foods were ok. Typical Chinese buffet. I was hoping for some lobster tail, but they served me a claw both times I went up. There was hardly any meat in there and too much work for a tiny piece. I'm surprised the service was GREAT even when they are super busy with many parties going on. They checked up on us frequently, gave refills, and cleared our dirty plates when needed to be. I'll only come back if someone is hosting a party here, not to eat if I want Chinese.

I stopped for the lunch buffet at 2PM on Tuesday for $11.49. Once seated, I went to wash my hands in one of the cleanest, most modern spacious black-marble restrooms I've ever seen...it made a great first impression! The sushi bar offered Maguro (Ahi), Salmon, Hirami, and numerous rolls, perhaps 15 selections, all very fresh, with bulk ginger, wasabi and soy sauce, an extremely generous selection for any lunch buffet. It was delicious! The salad and fruit bar was a full length table, maybe 10-12 feet of premixed salads and fruits, as well as individual ingredients, even sliced apples were offered, impressive. The seafood bar included rock fish, baked white fish fillets, crab legs, crispy fried prawns, peel'n'eat shrimp, shell fish, octopus, finger lobster and calimari. I tried most selections, the flavors were distinctive and very juicy, lots of unique sauces. There were three soup varieties, I chose the hot and sour. It was filled with vegetables, Tofu, onion, carrot, radish...it was complex in flavor and light on pepper, excellent for the American palate... I. could make a meal of the soup alone. There were three (3) full length hot entree tables with perhaps fifty (50) selections of chicken, pork, beef, frog legs, skewered meats, noodle, mixed vegeteble, rice and Dim Sum selections. The green beans and Gai Lan (Chinese Broccoli) were outstanding! I couldn't try every entree in one sitting, there were simply too many options. In the center of the room is a huge dessert table, I never got that far :-) Yes, I'm an accomplished chef in my own right, but I'm not affiliated with this restaurant or any of its staff. I simply loved the meal here and decided to speak out after reading several short-sighted reviews. I've been back twice since, with family members. The quality and variety were consistant. No question, this is a Super Buffet, the value-proposition is definitely "5 Stars"! - Scott

This place sucks!! The food was ok going down but in the morning, it was a completely different story. Explosive and the feeling of a hangover is the only way I can describe it, wait thats Called "FOOD POISONING"!! And when I went to pay my bill, the server was giving my change and it was the most awkward hand off because she kinda reached for my money like she was expecting a tip, sorry but I didn't get 5 star service or food, we sat next to a dirty sanitize bucket for Christ sakes, I know your supposed to switch that water every 2 hours and it was gross. All around a horrible place to enjoy a meal, happy to say that I will never be returning to this place EVER!

First time here on Saturday, Feb 15th. Go in the door and this place was packed! and there was a big line of people waiting, which is awesome. Must mean it is a really good place. We had a party of 4 and waited probably 10-15 minutes, especially since we arrived for dinner at about 7pm. $14.99/person is actually a pretty good price. Normally weekends at other places go for MUCH higher. Bill came up to about 70 something, with 3 drinks. Wish I took pictures of all the seafood that was grabbed at my table. All the crab legs, crawfish, and clams. I'm not a huge fan of crab legs or crawfish, but I did dive into the clams. Those were yummy, especially in the sauce my partner's mom made; squeezed lemon and either tobasco sauce or sriracha sauce. What I liked best was the salmon sashimi, 'calamari' (one time I went to get some and a guy waiting rudely said, "Now all the calamari will be gone!" thinking I'd be the type of person to fill my whole plate & there was a whole tray full!), bok choy, stir-fry beans, and crab rangoon. Service was slow with picking up the plates, probably because it seemed like there was only TWO people picking up plates in our full section of tables. I can't blame them, and I won't. They had A LOT of people to tend to. We had so many plates stacked that we put it on another table that was empty and has not been cleaned up yet. Overall, definitely a place to go to for the seafood if you're a big fan. Especially because all the seafood gets replaced, or added onto, almost every 5 minutes. Will be coming here again.

If I could, i would rate Super Buffet as 2 1/2 stars. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon at 12 for a party. The huge restaurant was less than a quarter full (some type of football game going on that day I think), so it was a little weird for our party of 12 to be seated in such a big area. There are about 5 or 6 sections of food, anywhere from desserts, to hot foods, to sushi and stir frys. They also offer lobsters split in half. As far as the food quality, it was just ok. Some of the fresh food tasted decent, but things like the loster were overcooked and/or mushy. The price of the buffet was $15 per person, so it isn't that expensive. It you want quantity in your buffet and a low price, then try this buffet out in Kent.

This place was great the first week they opened but things have surely gone downhill. The quality of food doesn't justify the price per adult. Make sure you stock up on the seafood if you do go and want to get your moneys worth/like seafood..

This place wasn't that great. They don't always change their food, sometimes it's not hot or freshly warm. The food is all pretty non authentic tasting. Everything feels like it could have tasted better. The sushi selection is really limited and doesn't have anything that great. Personally, I thought that their egg flower soup was probably the only thing closest to good. They also have seafood baked in a shell which was alright as well. The dessert selection all tasted bland and fake, especially the apple pie. The chocolate ice cream was decent. I don't recommend coming here but we did eat our share worth of money.

We love this place! I think we go there like at least once a week for dinner. We have a little one so we need some place where we can get in and get out, quick. The food I would say is great, everything is flavorful and tasty. They have a lot of selection. I really love their crayfish, crab legs, bbq pork ribs and their sushi is actually pretty good for a buffet sushi. The service is great! We rarely have to wait to get seated, maybe only during the holidays. Even at busy times, they always keep the tables and floors clean. They are quick to pick up plates and fill up waters, unless you get one of the newer servers. They needs to learn from the experience ones as they are not as proactive as they are slow to pick up the plates and does not refill our water or provide us with the crab cracker until we have to ask. Not much to complain about, I mean it's not the best quality food but what do you expect for a buffet that is around $15? Nowadays we pay that much just for fast food.

Crabs, lobster claws, shumai were not close to expectations, no steam rice. Its like nobody eat some of their food and they stay there until they're gone. The shumai were old and i couldnt eat the second one... It was more like roasted shumai. Stomach still doesnt feel right. This place is a no no... Stay away.

The food tasted great and the selection was vast, the huge downside is that it may be contaminated with some food-born illness :( I was unlucky this last weekend and I got bit. I'm quite sure I caught the Norovirus there by eating the food as it was the first meal I had in the day (I ate lunch there only because of a funeral reception) and I woke up the next day with terrible mud butt and stomach cramps which later worsened to fever. Unfortunately it spread to my wife who fell ill a day later and did not even eat there which makes me think it is the norovirus since it is transmittable. We are still trying to recover as of now. I think they should take extra precaution and double check all their employees are properly washing their hands, the service spoons are regularly washed, and that the food is kept at proper temperatures, particularly the fruit bar area which was what I ate a lot of. I'm feeling quite terrible. No amount of enticing food is worth this kind of pain. I'm debating whether to contact the DOH to notify them of a possible outbreak.

Yes. I am a huge fan of the "Asian Greasy Spoons" a la buffet style. This place just didn't do it for me. I think it boiled down to the food being out for too long. I guess at the time of day I showed up it must have been in between the steam tray swap or something. Nothing really sticks out in my mind as a sharp reminder of my visit when it comes to the food aspect. I do remember lots of items available but nothing spectacular. Our server and cashier were very friendly with us and our drinks were promptly delivered. I don't think there will be a second time round here, but it was a pleasant experience.

Our first visit yielded different opinions from the people in our party. Some liked it a lot. Some thought it was okay. This was the first buffet I've ever visited that had barely any food in the warming trays. It made us think the food was leftover from the previous day. Then I figured out after seeing how few customers they had, that the scarcity of food prepared would help the restaurant avoid waste. But psychologically, it made me think the food was old. Their egg drop soup was very good. The fried squid, mussels in American yellow mustard was okay. Their desserts were plentiful (odd, b/c the other foods were not). From the looks of the barely filled trays, I thought we had come at the end of a huge lunch crowd, but that wasn't so. Sadly, I won't return. The service was excellent. The food was deplorable overall.

First of all the bathrooms had slippery floors, broken toilets, and were not clean. So who knows what the kitchen looks like. The sushi was fishy. The Chinese food was pretty good. I was disgusted after the first few bites.

As a buffet goes, pretty good. Fresh, hot food. Like some other reviewers pointed out, there are a few emptied steam trays that didn't get replaced, but the selection was broad enough that I wasn't missing it. An expansive selection of entrees from the chicken to pork and beef dishes. Well organized and laid out to avoid the cafeteria-feel. Your favorite pan-Asian dishes, sushi, pho, and noodle bowls. Everything has a unique flavor, too- not quite as generic as other buffets I've eaten at. My wife very much enjoyed the variety. The ice cream machine was down tonight; I'm not sure how often that happens, but may be something to watch for (if we're caring about that right now). It is a Chinese buffet, and while it may not be the absolute best I've had, it's at least as good as their competition. I will definitely come back, and I'm likely to drive a fair distance (17 miles) -and invite friends to dine with me.

For a Chinese buffet, this place was impressed us. Quite a selection of Chinese food, service was attentive -but I wonder if it was the fact that we are Chinese which led to better service? What grabbed my attention was the "honey walnut prawn" more so like lil shrimp and that's because I was craving it and their stuff sufficed that crave. The green bean stir fry was tender and crunchy packed with flavor. Clams were good, everything else was decent. We did notice the salad bar was a bit skimpy and the lack of food labels for the dessert bar.. We went on a Sunday night (5pm) and it wasnt packed -its because the highly anticipated game we had against the 49ers. So no complaints that we weren't crammed. Nonetheless, we probably would go back again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
