Soup was fresh and delicious. Service. What service? I was one of two diners in her place and I was asking for some menu descriptions. She couldn't get away fast enough. I thought her hair had caught on fire for a second. The soup really was good.

The pho was good. The spring rolls were ok. I've had better. The service was horrible. Waited forever to be seated, then to have the order taken, then for the food. My daughter wanted a glass of water but we never had someone come back to the table. AND there was hardly anyone in the restaurant.

This place is one of my top places to eat pho when it's convenient for me. Their broth is extremely tasty without having to add other things in it :D Their service is quick. In my experience, my food gets out within five minutes so that's great haha

Really yummy broth... you can really taste the star anise! Mmmm.. I'm getting so hungry just thinking of their pho!

I love this place. Paul the owner & host is very personable most times. When he gets busy or distracted, he can be unaware of it and be cold. He doesn't do it intentionally. I've called him out on it and he apologizes. I brought my husband on one of those bad days, but teh food, their broth is the best I've had in the WA, S King County area. You get tea and ice cream complimentary and we're usually too full by then, but decent prices and most parts of restaurant are nice. The back side where teh ice cream is is dark and industrial looking, but the front and side of the inside is ok. :) Go there and meet Paul.

What the pho? This place is great! Larger than it looks fom the outside, nice atmoshpere, great service, and hot soup make for an awesome $7 lunch. Their pho ga is just the way I like it and they have a great lunch special that includes, tea, rice, won ton soup, egg roll, and a protein. I will definitely be back now and then for a quick lunch.

My bowl of pho was mediocre and the service was non-existant. Would not recommend. Had to chase down a waiter twice for a simple glass of water and refill. Also, I did not get any scoop of free ice cream. Not sure what the other reviews were about

If I could give a million stars, I would! Came in today for the second day in a row. I called to place my order for today, and also let him know about my order yesterday! The food was amazing (I had pho chicken and bought lemongrass chicken for my coworker). So, I decided to come back for the lemongrass chicken for myself today because he wouldn't stop raving about how good it was (and he wouldn't share). The only complaint was that there wasn't enough chicken to the rice ratio. I let Paul know about this and he gave me an extra portion of chicken with no charge. I will definitely be a return customer, at least once a week, from now on (: Customer service is fantastic. Food is to die for. And the free ice cream isn't too bad either.

Just moved here from NYC. Shocked at this little place. Awesome! Paul the owner is real friendly! Great food, nice little place. Great for a lunch date or just a date! My new go to place!

If you are an O-pho-cianado in search of the best broth, then this is the place. They make a damn good bbq pork too that's awesome in the salad bowl or served with broken rice. I stopped in at Pho Saigon just past 11am today and Paul, the proprietor, sat with me and had lunch. What a cool guy! I highly recommend stopping by, get fed like family and treated like a friend.

The Best Pho outside of Seattle and the best pho south of Seattle. Prior to the Seahawks NFC Championship Game, we wanted some pho, so we came here to try their pho and it did not disappoint. I have came here once before for their broken rice dish and egg rolls and that was not memorable. I can say, you only come here for their pho; as well as, may I sneak in their grilled pork spring rolls? Those rolls were good! So here it is: My wife and I had pho; I had the large pho tai nam and she had pho tai. The price difference between a large and a small is 50 cents, so why not? and it's a no brainer for those who debate to decide. The broth had a little fat, reminds me of the one my wife and I made at home; well this time, we didn't have to do the work, the restaurant did. The broth was tasty, seasoned good, not too rich, just right along with the tender, smooth slices of beef, onion, cilantro. The hoisin and lime blended in perfect harmony. The noodles were perfect. A true 5 star and best in Kent! We had their grilled pork spring rolls and egg rolls as well. The grilled pork spring rolls were tasty and done good; the rolls tasted like wrapped vermicelli; the pork was so good! The only complaint will be the egg rolls were probably the worst part, as it was not as good as last time as it lacked flavor and the lettuce garnish was not a whole leaf so that you can rip a part of it to fold into a slice of egg roll and dip into fish sauce. The fish sauce was on the other hand, sweet and good. The service was good. Oddly, the big tv is faced backwards for the employees to watch and not the customers. I can only see the reflection of the screen from their back mirror. I guess they didn't want their place to turn into a sports bar. The restrooms were clean. Best place for pho when you're not in Seattle and you're in South of Seattle.

Stopped by for lunch and so glad we did. The owner Paul was super friendly and our food was amazing. I had the pork and noodles and my husband had the lemongrass chicken. Cooked really well and very flavorful. And free ice cream for dessert! Would definitely go back.

This was hands down the best Pho I have had. Paul, the owner, truly cares about his customers and his craft. We were brought house specialties and were given the royal treatment from the second we sat down. Plus...there's free ice cream. Who can say no to that. If you're in the area you need to try this place.

This place has the best pho I've probably ever had. The broth is delicious and you get alot of food for the price. Paul the owner is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. We will be back for sure!

This is my favorite pho joint in the Federal Way area. Though the main part of the city (near the mall) has like 7 pho joints, none of them come close to this one so I make the drive up to Kent from the south end of Federal Way. The food always comes out really quick. That's when you know they have a giant pot that's always slow boiling the wonderful meat. There is no better broth in this area. It's got a perfect balance of heartiness and amazing flavor. I usually drink about half the broth even before adding in sriracha & hoisin sauce. I only add those later to flavor the noodles. To make this place even better, you get a free single scoop of ice cream from their small freezer. They had 4 different options the last time I was there, and I decided on the old school favorite, rocky road. It's interesting to hear about the service as I've never had an issue with it. Even when we sit far from the kitchen they've done a good job checking up on us. Maybe I've just been lucky every time.

I have been to many pho places in my life, and this place is probably my favorite. The price is right and the broth is full of flavor. Spacious seating and very friendly service, I just met Paul the owner and it seems that he really enjoys interacting with the customers. Free ice cream for dessert is a plus, this place is great for families with kids!

We love this place! My husband and I just had a wonderful meal here. I had the vegetable pho and my husband had the chicken pho. All the meals come with hot tea. The vegetables are fresh and delicious. Only disappointment was that we did order some eggrolls but they didn't come but that was fine since we were full from the pho.

BEST Pho ever! We just love this place so much! We always get the veggie pho and it is amazing! A great dish to have when you have a cold coming on, it will knock it right out! The service is excellent and the owners are so sweet and nice! The ONLY place we go for pho!

Holly pho! Wow this is some good stuff. Sweet owner cooks it herself and has tons of flavor. Lots of beef and noodles! I will be back often.

Food was good. Minus one star for the service, seeing as I was the only person in the entire restaurant and I still had to call them over to order and then walk over with my empty glass to get my water refilled.

Food was amazing! I usually go to a pho restaurant in Tacoma, but the overall experience here was better! Servers were attentive and positive the food came out quickly and fresh. The building was clean and we'll maintained. Most of all it was not expensive! Great experience will definitely come again soon!

  • Kristan W.

Seriously delicious. The broth is amazing and you can't stop eating no matter how full you are! The staff is friendly and the tea is good. I also likes the complimentary ice cream, it is a nice treat after the meal. I will definitely be a returning customer! Prices are low for the portions you are given.

  • Kevin T.

5 STARS - The food here is delicious and you cannot beat the fact you get free ice cream with your meal! Pho was always hot and flavorful and rice dishes came in large portions. 2.5 STARS - When I lived in the area I used to come here often, but stopped after getting charged different prices for the same meal over and over. You can order a large bowl of pho and soda on Monday and be charged a different price for the same thing next Thursday. I never really thought about it, but even our friends noticed the same thing! I mean the price of the food was worth the product they deliver even with the dollar more here and there, but don't do that to your returning customers. All in all, great food. Service is OK, hate to stereotype but it is expected from Vietnamese restaurants! Just be aware of your total bill!

Good service, food is delicious, it's definitely a casual setting. The place appears to be clean the tables were clean the windows were clean the floors clean I peaked in the back kitchen it looked pretty clean. Just to mention I enjoyed pho soup.

Perhaps I should have tried the pho instead of the lunch special. I walked in and they just pointed to an area and said number 2. Apparently the tables are numbered. They brought me some hot tea right away and didn't say anything, came back for my order and that was it. Everything was extremely hot, which is fine but they never came around to ask if I wanted water or anything else to drink. The beef had more fat on it then I would like. I've always been a little skeptical about those reusable chopsticks on the table, especially when they're all turned upside down so anybody could be touching them with their dirty hands. Waited awhile for my check to come which never did so I had to walk up there and wait to pay. People walked by and didn't say anything until the last finally came to the dinner and rang up my order. She swiped my card and left to take care of other things while it processed through and then just said thank you and had poor customer service. I'm not saying I need to be treated like a Prince, but they could at least make it seem like they want business. Wouldn't recommend this place for lunch at all.

I really don't like giving three-star reviews but sometimes there's nothing else you can do. Pho Saigon was pretty unremarkable to me. Ordered a large bowl with everything (tripe, brisket, tendon, etc), it was priced about the same as you'd generally find elsewhere. Generous portions of meat, which was nice. And free ice cream was nice too. The lady that was serving and cashing people out though, she was scary. We felt rude and nervous about asking her for anything, even the most simple things (and let me make it easy for you guys: yes you serve yourself the ice cream, and walk up to the register to pay). So I dunno. Proximity to work is a good factor for coming back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

  • Mike S.

Our pork Bahn Mi we split was on the mark damn tasty, we gave it a splash of fish sauce, and the jalapeno peppers were very spicy, didn't taste much pate if at all. I got the beef stew which had both rice noodles and egg noodles, different but welcome. Cuts of meat were exactly what I bet you would get in Saigon, but a lot more. Rough cuts of exactly what it should be. Basil and sprouts were on the light side, but the coffee was tasty. In the hood we'll return.

  • Inna L.

WOW!!!!!! AMAZING Pho!!!! Husband and I have been coming to this place for almost a year! Every time the staff is very nice, they know our order before we order. The food is the best in this area! If you want THE BEST pho, come here!

  • Alex P.

The Pho is great, but costumer service sucks! Old Asian lady is mean and absolutely dont care about you. I asked for a water and it took her 20 min to get it. By that time I was almost done with my meal.

  • Shannon M.

I enjoyed pho with a friend at Pho Saigon Garden. The meal was exactly as we ordered and it was quick to the table. The tea served was warm enough to drink straight from the little cup, not scorching hot requiring us to wait to drink it. There were plenty of sauces at the table to add to the meal. My only disappointment was the fact that they never came back to the table to ask if we needed anything else or to fill our glasses of water. I ended up having to get up from the table and ask them to come fill the water. Otherwise, the complimentary scoop of ice cream in a cone after my meal was great!

Bottom Line - Standard Vietnamese food that is tastey; however, beware dishes that use MSG if you are sensitive to that; also beware of all the additional fees (extra if you use a credit card, extra if you need a box for to-go for leftovers, extra if you're ordering during dinner time). This restaurant is convenient if you are near Federal Way or the Airport. About 10 minutes to get to via Hwy 99/International Blvd. The food is on par. The pho is standard and comparable to other places that serve pho. However, in comparison to other places, the prices are slightly more expensive at Pho Saigon, especially if you add on all those additional fees. The additional "fees" are the biggest annoying thing about this place. There shouldn't be additional fees for using credit cards (and it's against the merchant rules. MasterCard even has a webpage submission form to report businesses that do this- search for "merchant violations"). If Pho Saigon doesn't want the additional business that accepting credit cards creates, then they should convert to CASH ONLY. Acceptance of credit cards is a business expense that they should have already priced into their menu. Same goes for asking for a to-go box for your leftovers. What's next? Having a surcharge if you ask for ice in your water because the ice machine costs a lot?! On the positive side, service is pretty quick, especially if you order the pho. If you are in Seattle, I would suggest other local places because Pho Saigon wouldn't be worth the drive.

This 5 star rating is strictly for the food itself. THE PHO CANNOT COMPARE TO THE BLAND BROTH/SOUP FROM THOSE CHAIN PHO RESTAURANTS (pho tai, what the pho etc..) The broth is whats most important, their broth is just right in all ways, the right amount of oils/fat in the soup, the slight darkness in the color of the soup which shows how much taste is in the broth. You can tell how much effort and time is put into making the taste right. The meat portion are okay, the steak meat is always fresh and never tooo thinly sliced. The pho here is outstanding amongst other pho places in Washington that I've tried. This place wont have the most updated tables and chairs and decorations, but that wont stop my fam and i to go here to eat.

I was looking for a good place to get Banh Mi near work. Well, this IS NOT it!!! First off: it took them abut 10 minutes to make it. Isn't banh mi supposed to be Vietnamese fast food? I can make a sandwich at home in under 5 minutes with all the fixins. 10 is ridiculous. Secondly, they charge $4.95!! WTF?! In Chinatown, the best of the best dare not charge more than $2.5, $3 is a push!! And to top it off I'm pretty certain I gave the guy $5, but he insisted I only gave him $4..... I got back to my office, unwrapped it and realized why it took so long. It's basically a chicken teriyaki sandwich. Grilled teriyaki chicken, grilled veggies and some cilantro and jalapeno in a now super soggy bun. Taste was ok, but I expect Banh Mi to be a light sandwich that is cheap and fast, this was none of those. Please rename and be clear in what you are selling: high end teriyaki sandwich!!

    (1)
  • Daren D.

I called in a chicken banh-mi to-go. The ladies that took my order and handed me it were both rather pleasant. My sandwich was pretty ok; the chicken was different than I'm used to - it reminded me of teriyaki chicken minus the teriyaki. My last great chicken banh-mi was at Pho Dong on MLK and this made me miss it... The dining area has unique decoration yet appears as if it was "alive" and "cool" during a past time. The fish tank abandoned, lighting is a bit too dim and the CRT screens, which at some point probably showed anything from games to vietnamese shows, are now black.

The many solid reviews of Pho Saigon motivated me to make the 15 minute drive from my workplace. I agree with the overall consensus that the broth has good depth of flavor and richness. If I were reviewing solely based on the merit of the broth, this place would get 4.5 stars from me. However, I ordered a #7 (rare steak and well done flank). My serving of rare steak was quite choice, but the well done flank was a total train wreck - almost entirely comprised of fat and cartilage. While I am not totally averse to a bit of fat and cartilage in my Pho, the proportions in this particular bowl of Pho were just way off. At $7 for a small bowl, my experience was no better than 3 stars. I would consider giving this place a second chance, as I know even the best Pho joints can have a bad day (or bowl, rather).

  • Jake L.

Hands down the best broth in the entire Seattle area. If you haven't tasted their broth, you are definitely missing out. This broth is so good it makes other Pho restaurant's broth taste like water compared to Pho Saigon. The service is fast and friendly and it is never a let down coming to Pho Saigon!

  • Walt W.

Best banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) hands down. The Pho is good and so are the rice dishes. The service is second to none. Paul, the owner, waiter and... everything else works hard to make people feel like family. I try to come here at least once a month and order the BBQ Pork with Rice and a Banh mi. There are usually only 2 people waiting and one person cooking. Which is a problem when there are a lot of people. But it's really a hit or miss on that. Five star "Woohoo! As good as it gets" Well, yes I believe it is. But there is room for improvement. I didn't talk much about the food, but it's good. You'll just have to take my word for it. This is my second 5 star review out of 100 if that says anything. Oh and free ice cream! :-)

So I absolutely love this restaurant! A friend had introduced me to this place in 2008 and I have been coming here ever since. I have tried other pho restaurants and I haven't found another pho joint that's comparable. When the owner, Paul, is around he will take time to get to know you. I've taken a lot of people here and he's been great with recommending dishes or even having a dish made to order. He makes this chicken and rice noodle salad that my wife loves. It's loaded with grilled chicken, rice noodles, carrots, cucumber, lemon grass, lettuce topped with peanuts. I've tried the chicken noodle soup (pho ga) at other restaurants and this is the best. The flavor of the broth makes it worth it every time. I wanted to address two of the reviews here. I'm only speaking on the chicken dishes as that's all I've ever ordered. It's true that the pho and the chicken bahn-mi are a little more expensive than some other restaurants around, but the quality is the best. Quality takes time. I have never had the pork bahn-mi because the chicken is so good! These sandwiches are stuffed full of grilled teriyaki chicken slices, fresh carrot, cucumber and jalapeno slices and cilantro. The only time my bun has been soggy was when I reheated the sandwich in the microwave. I've also never been charged for a to go box when I can't finish my meal. I have only been charged for to go boxes on call in call orders, which is fine.

Good little place in a shopping area in Redondo area off Pac high way . I'm always a fan of hole in the wall restaurant. So I came in and ordered the pho dac biet (pho special with everything). I give it 5 stars for the authentic taste, since I can tell the pho is made from scratch not out of the box, and I'm Vietnamese so I would know. Definitely better than the Chinese and Korean run pho restaurant and franchises.

This is the ONLY place for pho in the area! I live in Seattle now and this is still the BEST pho I have ever had.. and this is coming from a Vietnamese guy who prides himself as a pho connoisseur. The broth is on point and the cuts of beef are excellent. U will not be disappointed. Also if ur not in the mood for pho, try the Mi Kho Thap Cam (Yellow noodles w sauce and all kinds of meat). Even the eggrolls are perfect (no fish sauce needed) and the grilled pork spring rolls are awesome. Also after your meal, u can eat ice cream on the house! Good food, good people and free ice cream.. this is a must try place!

4 Overflowing VEGGIE Pho Bowls for this friendly shope! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it when my Pho is filled with FRESH veggies! This spot not only spreads the veggie love, they even ask me if I want my broth to be also veggie... imagine that! Paul, the owner, is very friendly and makes sure he knows your name. He also made my friend Kristi C and I special veggie rolls because I do not eat pork, red meat or shellfish... HOW GREAT IS THAT! And for all you foodies who love FREE yummy treats, Paul offers FREE scoop of ice cream with many flavours to choose from OR if you want something extra sweet, you can choose from his assorted chocolate treats! I will definitely come back for some mo' veggie lovin pho!

I'll try to keep this one short! :) As far as I'm concerned, the broth just about makes the pho, and this place simply has it down so well! Been here a couple of times so far, and have tried both pho and spring rolls. They've both been among the best I've come across in the area. Prices are slightly higher than some other pho spots around, but portions are large, and the quality is definitely there, so you're getting what you pay for. It's slightly out of the way for me, but is worth the drive. IMHO, it's probably the best Vietnamese food I've come across in the south King county area. I'll be back here again for sure!

For those of you who may have tried this place or been there a few times, it must taste and feel great for you guys. Shocked with this one star review you may be, but I've gone here many times over the past five or so years. This place used to be located at the present Church's Chicken joint. Since I've been a long time customer, why the bad review? Well... it used to be great, their pho was the best in town, maybe even in a 25 mile radius. When they moved, Paul surely enough, forgot our names and ceased from tentatively serving us, because we're "regulars" "familiar faces". It seems as though he likes to pick and choose who he chats it up with, ignoring other customers. The past few years I rarely went there because of the bad service from everyone. But last week my partner and I thought we'd give it a try again, thinking there food still has to be great. WRONG, it was awful, the "large" but small pho was broth consisting of water and a little bit of other stuff, my short ribs was about 5 pieces of meat and alot of fat, with ALOT of rice (a waste! there to make the dish look like your getting your monies worth), with a little bit of the sauce on the side, and the spring rolls had old veggies in it at $4.25 for two! Not only that, the prices went up at least $1-1.25. Charging .30 cents per to go box and .50 cents for credit cards, I understand the charge for a credit card, but boxes? for food people have bought and couldn't finish?? I understand budgets, but that's complimentary! Take away the ice cream then (which is unsanitary). Also, the lady who served us, maybe Pauls wife? Has a sour face all the time, never greeting customers, quickly taking our order as if she already wanted us to leave...rude. I'll never eat there again. Economic struggle, if that's the issue, should never be an excuse for poor service and food.

  • Jordan S.

I love the service here. Paul walks up, gives you some tea and asks if you know what you want. If not he asks what ingredients you like and makes suggestions. First time I came here I told him what I liked and he says "Cool man I'll take care you man." The food is damn good too. Pho is all about the broth. You gotta use bone as the base. They make a damn good bowl of noodles, beef and tripe here kids. Oh yeeaahh...

Every year we drive from Portland to Anacortes, WA for the weekend at least twice. I went to school in Olympia, and I have my favorite asian restaurant (Chopsticks) there but they aren't open on Sundays! So I can never stop there on the way home on Sunday. This is likely going to be my new stop every trip. We had lunch there today (Thanksgiving day) on the way north. It being Thanksgiving, we wanted to have an early lunch and they were open at 10 so we decided to give it a shot. YUM! Delicious vegetable pho, cute atmosphere, good prices, friendly staff... Will definitely be coming back again, most likely many times.

I guess we should have had the Pho because my friend and I weren't terribly impressed with the dishes we ordered. We both got the #38, rice noodles with beef, pork and shrimp and a ton of veggies in a light brown sauce. The "noodles" were very weird. They were very thick and deep fried so they "poufed" up. They were kinda bland and needed a good amount of soy sauce or hot sauce to make them edible. We went here because of the entertainment book coupon and I would go again if I had another coupon and try the Pho. Service was a little slow. No check back to see if we needed anything. Water would have been nice. Friend asked for sweetener for her tea and didn't receive any. One nice bonus not mentioned in previous reviews, you get a complimentary self serve ice cream one scoop cone. 4 flavors to choose from. Rocky Road, Cookie Dough, Vanilla and Sherbet.

i really like their lunch special plate!! Just enough to fill me up. Spare ribs, egg roll, broken rice yummmm. Sometimes I add an egg! Dont care for their spring rolls because you only can choose one shrimp or pork. I like them both together.

Pros: True Authentic Vietnamese Food which leaves you craving for more. Cons: They charge u for to-go box 0.50 each and another 0.50 to use credit card. Recommend#20 & 22 the pork skewer with the vermicelli is very good. I got it best and fresh around 11 am. Yummy!!!!

One of my favorite places for pho (which are a only a couple places). I love their shrimp spring rolls; I'm always afraid of eating shrimp at a restaurant because you never know how fresh it is, I ate the shrimp spring rolls around 8 times here and I haven't ever got sick (I can't say the same about other pho places). Their pho is delicious! Beware their large size is a very large, at least I haven't ever been able to finish a whole bowl by myself. And you can get some free ice cream at the end, is not the greatest.. but it's free.

One of my favorite spots! I order the shrimp spring rolls, chicken Vietnamese sandwich and #7 Pho ALL the TIME. Paul, the owner is always happy. Its nice to walk in and they know exactly what I want and how I want it. Sometimes I don't get noodles in my Pho, so they put extra vegetables in it instead. The spring roll sauce is perfect with a dab or a lot of red hot sauce - depending on if I feel spicy or not :) Some Pho places I've been to makes the sauce with too much peanut butter. The best Pho broth I've tasted! That's what makes the PHO and the difference!

The pho here is great! Very authentic, not americanized one bit. Lot's of different types of pho soups to choose from but a little more pricey than most pho restaurants. Wait staff are very warm and smiley and helpful. I will say that their dishes other than pho are not that great. I ordered chowmein and my noodles were still very al dente (hard) and burned. Sticking to pho might be the better option. Oh and they have self serve free icecream cones for after your meal. Can't go wrong with that!

Their food is OK... That was until I saw a rather large bug crawling on the wall and down into the silverware holder... Wont be going back.

Paul, the owner, ensures that Pho Saigon is the best in the area! Not just compared with other Vietnamese restaurants, but ALL local restaurants. From your second visit on, Paul greets you by name and warmly welcomes you back. He's not simply a restaurant owner, but a friend in the commuinity, too. The food is fantastic! On my first visit, Paul brought me a sample of several dishes, all of which I enjoyed. As I paid, Paul 'created' a total since my order wasn't exactly on the menu. My meal was a mix of three entrees and accompanying appetizers, but my bill was just slightly more than a single entree! Paul asked, "Is that fair?" "Of course," I replied! I've been back several times and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and experience each time. As Nathan W. said in his review, remember your free ice cream at the end of the meal.

Just a note, I've only had two meals here, but I still look forward to visiting again. For my first visit I ordered pho with beef, tendon, tripe. Hot, delicious, fresh. For my second visit I ordered one of my favorite dishes, Vietnamese beef stew or bo kho. This meal could have been better. The broth was a little thicker than what I am used to. Plus, the meat needed more time cooking since it was chewy and rubbery, versus how I prefer it, moist and fork tender. It was tough to cut with a knife... The taste was great, the texture was not so great. I'll leave it a three stars, but I want to continue trying their menu.

Paul has the best broth around! Searched all over and no pho compairs. Great guy too! oh! and you get free icecream after you eat :)

I rarely give anybody five stars, but I think this Vietnamese Restaurant really deserves it. The tastiness, selection, and quality of the food is spectacular at a good price. The staff is courteous and quick. I went there a couple times over the weekend. The first time I ordered a small bowl of pho and their #38 (crispy fried rice rolls with stir fried beef, chicken, shrimp, and veggies). The pho soup tasted great; not overly sweet or salty or oily. It was just right. The cuts of beef were delicous and plentiful. The second time I went I ordered the pho again with their #72 beef stew. The stew tasted absolutely amazing. I found myself taking home the leftover sauce so that I can cook a pack of noodles and mix it into the sauce. The selection of food at this restaurant is incredible; there were so many dishes I have never seen before. If I didn't live in Everett, I would visit this restaurant more often to try out the rest of their menu. This is really a Vietnamese cuisine restaurant, not a just pho restaurant. Oh, and the free self-serve ice cream cones are a plus!

I love the curry here. The owner Paul, pictured in the photos, is a great guy. I haven't been there lately, sorry Paul. But, the food is great and the service is attentive.

Pho and noodle dishes unique and fresh enough to stand out amongst a ton of other similar restaurants. The service, in particular owner Paul, is amazing. Always greeting with a smile and double checking to make sure the customer is happy. Can't ask anything more. Side note... read a review stating that there is a charge for using a card and for carry out boxes. I have eaten here a couple dozen times, never been charged for these. There are a few Pho Saigons around, probably got mixed up.

Best broth in town, guys. And try the pork spring rolls. Paul and his crew never disappoint! I love these guys!

Best Pho period! Paul is the best, the food is the best, don't go here because it will ruin it for you to go get pho anywhere else. And if you become a regular maybe you can sit at the VIP table in the back and watch vietnamese dancing with the stars programs on the big screen! Free ice cream desserts! ...You'll know you are a regular when Paul knows your name and remembers what you orderd last time.

This is the best pho I've ever had! The broth is incredible. Paul the owner is awesome! Husband loves the Banh mi (good but not my favorite). Noodle dishes and pork chops are good but stick with what they do best - the PHO!

My favorite Pho place since the owner and his sister would make just about anything I ask for (even though it's not even in their menu - if they have ingredients, they would make it). The Beef Stew with Noodle is excellent as well as usual Beef or Chicken broth Pho or with egg noodle. The Vietnamese sandwich is also super yummy because they really loaded all the goodies and lots of meat in their sandwich. And my other favorite dish is Lemongrass Chicken (which I always ask for special spicy). And don't forget the FREE Ice Cream.... mmmmmm...

Where to begin? First Paul introduced himself. Then asked for our names. How can this be? This is not typically done.... Monday dinner time so not very crowded. and the larger than average Pho restaurant gave a feeling of openness vs. many which are small. Then we were asked if local or traveling through, if it was our first time or not. Aren't restaurants just supposed to take the order and put plates down? Why would someone be interested in us as a person? Very odd. Ordered #2 #30 (and another). The pre-service was laid out... with a comment that he would tell us everything when the food arrived. Overall very impressed. Food was unique, fresh and outstanding. To duplicate the food at home? Impossible for us... At another restaurant, I doubt it. The menu was very broad and I will look forward to the next visit. I look for Heart and Soul. This place has it! I look for meal which are is to duplicate. This place has it. If only it were not as chilly in the restaurant ..... that would make me smile. We will be back and I am putting Pho Saigon on my "Heart & Soul" list. To meet, greet, introduce, show & tell, offer personalized service, every bite special... a rarity.

I've been a regular of Pho Saigon for nearly 5 years, and even though I've tried other pho places on a whim, I have yet to find one with service as excellent or food a delicious as you'll find at Pho Saigon. The broth of the pho is something that is impossible to duplicate (as they keep their recipe a highly guarded secret), and the small #7 (which is still a LOT of food) is probably my favorite dish. They do make, however, delicious chicken curry (make sure to ask for extra coconut milk!), lemongrass chicken, or the pork salad (which is more noodles than salad, but it is light, refreshing, and fills you up without leaving you feeling gross or greasy). Their Vietnamese sandwiches are also delicious (best I've had), if want something quick and delicious for lunch. My absolute favorite and number one recommendation, again, is the pho. You can't go wrong with the pho! It's always delicious, but you're in for a real treat if the owner, his wife, or his sister is cooking that day :). Speaking of the owner... Paul is absolutely phenomenal. He's incredibly personable, and will learn and remember your name by the 2nd visit at the latest. You can really tell that he loves what he does and that he loves his business! He'll joke around with you, check back about the food (something most pho places do not do), and you'll feel like a regular in no time! Don't forget your free scoop of ice cream at the end! Check out Pho Saigon -- best pho I've ever had!!

I read about this one and also had some friends recommend it. I am becoming a fan of Pho and eat it two to four times a month and I have been a fan of the sandwiches for years. Paul the owner of the restaurant greeted us and talked to us for a few minutes, realizing we were new to the restaurant. Paul seems to have a great memory with his customers. We let him bring us what he wanted to and were not let down. First we had some shrimp spring rolls and he suggested we add a kick to the peanut sauce which turned out great. Next came some really good Pho with beef flank I believe, The broth was good. I am always trying the broth out now before I jack it up. After that came a bowl of rice noodles with some chopped up egg roll, grille shrimp, grilled pork and veggies. We put a light dressing on it and it was Delicious. There is a self serve ice cream freezer on the house to finish up and we ordered some pork sandwiches to go which were excellent the next day for lunch. We will be back Paul.

My fiance and I both swear this is the tastiest Pho we've eaten in the Puget Sound. It's the broth; it just has so much more flavor than any other Pho restaurant I've tried. The Bun Thit Nuong is just as delicious! Plus, as a few other reviewers have said, Paul is the best! We love coming here! And don't forget your ice cream when you're done!

My boyfriend LOVES this place - no joke, like a little kid loves candy. He craves Pho and refuses to eat any where but here. We go about once a month and it is a real treat. My boyfriend always orders the all-meat soup (can't remember what number, 11 maybe?) and drinks it to the last drop everytime. I like the steamed rice and veggies. Best part of this place is the owner, Paul. He is very sociable and really cares about his customers. He makes a point to remember our names, and will always customize your food to whatever you like. Good prices too. The 2 of us eat for about $40 (with tip).

On a whim we saw Pho' Saigon while I was visiting my girlfriend at lunch. We though "hey pho' is healthy and inexpensive" and decided to go in and try it. What a treat, the food was incredibly good. I'm not a pho expert. They all have fairly the same recipe, but the Pho' here was exceptionally good. The meat tasted a little more tender than other places I have gone, and the meatballs were really good as well. We had an egg-roll (spring roll?) and it was delicious. As an added treat you get a free scoop of ice cream cone after you finish dinner. One thing I really liked is that the owner Paul was very personable. He asked our names, joked around with us and made friends with us immediately. The other Pho' places we've been to were NEVER this friendly to us and we really took note of it. Thank you Paul you really made our day. I really liked everything about this place and I'm sure I will be back. With this bad economy we are having, the prices here were awesome. At $6.75 for a Large bowl of pho' I consider it Cheap compared to other Pho' places and the portions were big. I recommend Pho Saigon to anyone who loves great Pho' and great customer service.

This has always been my favorite pho place. When my bf and I lived close (for 3 years) we would go once or twice a week every week. We moved slightly farther away and had not been back for awhile. Last week we had a craving and took the trip to be disappointed. Our egg rolls (which we get every time) came long after our food and were very burnt. Everything else tasted like it lacked seasoning and my noodles hadn't been cooked through they were half hard. Our table had been wiped with an obviously dirty rag so it smelled kinda weird. When we used to come here it was always good no matter what- and the owner Paul is great. He would come chat with you, remember your face, name and order. He would offer to pick food for you and it was always the right choice. I never thought Id dislike anything here. I could see the fact Paul was no longer there running it towards the end of living by there and for this trip he probably hadn't been there in ages. I hope he comes back and turns it around because I honestly want this place to succeed!

Okay, this is in my opinion, THE best pho restaurant in the greater Seattle area. I was first introduced to this restaurant by my boyfriend, who is a pho fanatic and claimed this was the best spot in Seattle. I tried it the first time and my pho experience has never been the same since! Although they do have their off and on days, they almost always have the best broth around. It's got a very rich, deep flavor. You can really taste the hours of work that went into preparing and boiling the broth. I always order the #8, which has steak, flank, and meatballs and my boyfriend orders the #13 and an order of shrimp spring rolls. I'm not a big fan of the spring rolls, but my boyfriend really enjoys them. The owners are very kind and service is usually very good. I definitely would recommend Pho Saigon. I am sad that I don't get to go to this place as often as I would like because I live a good 30-40 minutes away, but when I'm really craving pho, my boyfriend and I would make the drive because their pho really is that great and it's worth the drive.

Amazing! I'm Vietnamese, my mother was born and raised in Vietnam and was taught how to cook authentic pho from her mother, I know true authentic pho. This place is it, the best soup ever! I can easily tell "canned broth" from "fresh bone stock broth from scratch", and this place is all fresh! Amazing pho. This place is not nearly as busy as it should be because it is great! Highly recommended! Free hot tea and a nice quite atmosphere, quick service, and all round great! True authentic pho! Also free ice cream! A lot of people don't know, but once your done eating, there is a freezer in the middle of the restaurant where the owner provides free ice cream cones and a scoop of your choice, he typically has 4 flavors to choose from at a time. Great Pho and great customer service.

Best Pho in the southend IMO. The broth is very flavorful and fragrant! I also enjoy their pork Vietnamese sandwich. While the food is great, the service has been sub-par. Paul, the owner I think, was great, but hasn't been around as much recently. The others running the shop aren't very welcoming and have forgotten about us several times when seating us in the corner. With that said, it's your typical great food, bad service kind of place.

Everyone who says this pho isn't the best they have tasted is lying! I am purposefully eating pho everywhere in the Seattle area to prove to myself that this isn't the best. So far, I have wasted a lot of money! Pho saigon has the best pho I've ever had. Service is good! Other stuff on the menu is good! This place rocks.

Found this place by fellow Yelpers, and my car navigation which was very convenient when I wanted Vietnamese and was shopping in Federal Way. Ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich with pork, and the recommended house Spec fried rice in other Yelp reviews, complimentary tea was served (not very hot). Recycled Sriracha bottles contain various condiments: sugar, hoisin, a spicier chunky red chile garlic sauce, and yes, Sriracha sauce itself. The sandwich had plenty of garlicky sweet chopped pork with some Hoisin flavor, the requisite pickled vegs, and jalapeno on a nicely warmed French roll. The rice had thinly sliced Chinese-style sausage, and annoying bay shrimp, and teh purchased diced carrot/frozen pea blend. I should have ordered a Vietnamese broken rice dish rice instead. Decent enough, I would come back, if in the area, but not make a special trip . One cute touch--they offer a make it yourself ice cream cone--my problem with that is you have many unclean hands handling the ice cream scoop and so on. I am sure the King County Health Dept. would not allow this. Note: be careful eating--my dish was badly chipped

I love this place! I've only gotten takeout so far, but it's always been phenomenal. I get the large chicken pho, and the portion is huge. Easy enough for lunch the next day. Everything tastes fresh. My wife tried the steak pho and liked it as well. The owner Paul remembered me the second time I came in. He's very polite and friendly, and always wants me to call if there's anything wrong with the order. It's a nice change to see someone who cared about the customer rather than just getting paid.

Been here twice and both times service and food were excellent! For me, the best Vietnamese sandwich around, the bread and pho were made with fresh ingredients and great friendly service. I don't live near this restaurant but every time I go see my sister, I intend to get another one of those sandwiches and Pho!

My boyfriend and I went into Pho Saigon looking for a hot bowl of soup. When we entered the restaurant, the atmosphere was bright and cheery. The food was great and the service was friendly and came to check on how we were doing or whether we needed anything. As we were sitting there, our server asked another table about why they were not eating their egg rolls. One of the girls mentioned that she was allergic to shrimp. The server said they were willing to make special orders for people with allergies. We both thought that was a great thing for him to do as I am one of those people with allergies.

My favorite place for Pho. We usually order Pho, Vietnamese egg rolls and an additional entree like curry chicken and it's always delish. Paul (the owner) is very courteous and always ensures you're happy with the food and service you received, he's a cool dude. The quality and taste are reliable, and the service is as good as it gets; go there or call in for take out, you've nothing to lose.

This place is best. I've tried a lot of different places, but this is far superior. The soup is much better than most because of the extra flavor. The broth is rich, you can taste the spices and beef flavor more than most places. I think you get a bigger helping of meat as well. I have never been dissatisfied with the soup or service. The owner treats you like family. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated.

My quest in life is to find THE BEST PHO! So far the BEST Pho I've found is at the Pho Saigon Garden, on Pacific Highway South, between Des Moines and Federal Way. Now, the PHO here is the best I've ever tasted, but the rest of the menu is excellent as well. The Fresh Rolls are OUTSTANDING! (Both the pork & the shrimp). The owner, Paul, is very engaging, and I think his quest in life is to make sure your dining experience is exceptional! The restaurant is very clean and well decorated and the atmosphere is great. If you are looking for the best Vietnamese food around, go see Paul at Pho Saigon Garden...you will be happy you did!!
