Best damn pizza! Plus hookin it up with breadsticks for checking in? Thanks yelp! We ordered a super awesome sized Hawaiian pizza and it was... super awesome!! I will definitely be coming back for more.

I ordered a calzone and requested ricotta but didn't get it but they were so nice when they came to the door I asked them to not ring the door bell but to knock lightly and they did.. so nice! So even though the calzone was missing ricotta cheese, the Italian salad and chai tea were on point and they were much faster to deliver than they said they would be. Thumbs up!

I work in Kent and think this is the best pizza around. The prices are reasonable and flavors are great. My experiences have always been positive and I think the owner is a cool guy. It's tucked away in a random strip mall and deserves a better location. I pass three other pizza places on my way to pick up a Benson Pizza.

There isn't enough positive things I can say about this place! The pizza is quality. Absolutely amazing, I've ordered on each spectrum of their menu and every little bit of it tastes amazing. . Always hot and fresh! Mixing Indian food with pizza sounded off for a moment but when I tried it I was blown away! Choosing to eat hear will not be a mistake. Every single time I order here the delivery man has to biggest smile on his face. It shows he cares about working there! People that like their job in my opinion do it better! Thank you Benson pizza! Customer for life!

Great local pizza joint. Picked up my pizzas and was welcomed by a very friendly staff member. Quality and delicious pizza.

This place definitely lived up to it's reputation! I ordered delivery last night and I got the meat pizza (i forget the name but it had ham, sausage, pepperoni) It was the best pizza i've had in a while! Next time I think i'm gonna try one of their Indian pizza's or a calzone. The delivery driver was also so friendly and you can tell that they definitely take pride in their pizza and their service. Will be back soon!

I ordered the pepperoni pizza. Yum. Some of the best pizza I have ever had. Pizza crust was awesome, pizza sauce was awesome. I am really impressed. Definitely my new go to local pizza joint....

Really enjoyed their pizza. We had the combination & the butter chicken. Thought it'd be interesting & it was, & very good. Excellent crust. Will definitely order again. Wish they delivered to us.

They rarely answer the phone! They were closed when I went there during open hours. Their pizza is fantastic when it's hot and fresh, if you can manage to get one. I ordered from them one night and it took an hour and a half before I got the pizza. It was smooshed to the box and no longer hot. I got it only because I called the restaurant to ask what happened. Miraculously they answered the phone! They missed two potential orders from me due to not answering the phone (it was 6 pm) and not being open when I stopped by (late afternoon). If they had better service I would give 5 stars, but I'm tired of having to change my dinner plans at the last minute because I can't get in touch with them and can't rely on their delivery service. It's too bad because I really like their pizza!

Came in late at night with a friend looking for a pizza joint. We enjoy trying new things so we got the Palak Paneer. Didn't have high expectations at all since the place looked sketchy. Totally amazed with the taste of the pizza. I will be coming back here! We added jalapeños and got level 2 spiciness. It wasn't very spicy we could have gone higher. Also, the service was great. Everyone was very kind and when we were seated waiting for our pizza the guy brought it out to is with a smile and was very polite. Great customer service. Everyone needs to try this!

I ordered delivery for my first experience. What a delight! I ordered their gluten free garlic chicken pizza and wow it was fantastic! I cannot WAIT to order again. The delivery arrived right when they said it would. The delivery person was friendly and answered all the questions I had about their Indian inspired pizzas. As good as this pizza was I can only imagine what the others will be like. Even the GF crust was fantastic! You can't go wrong with this place. I will go to the actual restaurant next time. Got a feeling it will be just as great of an experience!

The customer service here is unbelievably HORRIBLE. I ended up not even getting my pizza in the end. I was blown away by how rude the manager was. He interrupted me every time I tried to talk. I work in customer service and at my work I would get fired to talking to a customer the way he talked to me. I will never be ordering from here ever again

I went here for the first time a few weeks back and had a great experience. The guy who helped me was really friendly and made a few suggestions that turned out well on the pizza I ordered. I like that you can split the pizza to suit two completely different tastes and LOVED the Indian side of the pizza (the other side was pretty good too). The ingredients tasted fresh and the service was quick and pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

Why would you advertise that you open at 11:00am and yet you don't! Drive across town for this place! Never again!

  • Brandi W.

Awesome service and even better food! I'm so glad I found this place. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to order a personal sized pizza however you can customize a larger pizza to suit a couple different tastes but not all pizzas can be halved. We will definitely be back.

This is the best food idea ever! Indian food and Pizza together as one! It was delicious! I ordered half butter chicken curry and half tandoori chicken. Highly recommend this place!

The staff was very friendly, we ordered an hour or so before closing. some places skimp or do a half assed job that late but nope, we got the tandoori and butter chicken. words cannot express the mouth orgasm we had. very flavorful and they give you taziki to dip the pizza in. Will be back very soon.

The chicken tandoori pizza is incredible. I could eat it every day. The chicken curry pizza is good also, if you are a curry fan. The owner is a master at customer service. Always making you feel welcome.

I found this place due to the lateness of the hour. I was hankering for pizza and it was nearly midnight. Yelp to the rescue! I saw the reviews for the butter chicken pizza and decided to give it a go. I did not regret it, this stuff was seriously amazing, no joke. I was back next week, this time ordering the cheesy bread with it, gluten allergy be damned! Yeah, it really sucked the next day, but it sure is amazing going down! I love, love LOVE their pizza, and have already told several friends about this place and they love it too! If I could give a ten star review, this place would get it.

Delicious pizza and great service. They seem to genuinely care about your experience, which is nice for a change. As others have said, the butter chicken is awesome.

FINALLY we have found an awesome pizza place near our house... and even better, they deliver! I can't even begin to say how happy I am that this place exists. The crust on their pizza is awesome. It reminds me of the Boston-style buttery crust type of pizza that I miss so much. They cook their pizzas to perfection, with some great crunch, but a softer middle, too. I was unsure of trying their East Indian Pizzas, but our first time there, we went with the Butter Chicken Curry Pizza... Oh my GOSH this was fantastic! The flavors worked so well together, and the tzatziki sauce that it came with was amazingly flavorful. We also ordered their Cheesy Bread and it was fantastic. They do not skimp on the cheese! We have since ordered their Tandoori Chicken Pizza, which was very good, though I preferred the Butter Chicken. They are SUPER friendly at this place, which makes your experience even better. It's in a somewhat sketchy strip mall area of Kent, but the restaurant is clean and I would totally eat there. It may be pricier than your typical Domino's or Pizza Hut, but it's worth every extra penny to have quality pizza in the area. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed. I'm really excited to try even more of their pizzas in the future!

Had a pizza there expecting blend of Indian food flavored pizza. People in the shop are nice. Ordered Butter Chicken + meat pizza. It was OK, bland, nothing great. My taste buds can be different from many on the yelp.

My favorite pizza in the greater Seattle area. Traditional pizzas or their unique Indian pizzas, it doesn't matter, they're both amazing. All dishes cooked to perfection, the pepperoni in always just a bit crispy since they don't bury it for speeds sake. Ingredients are always fresh and taste great. This is a small, family run location. Get to know them and they'll treat you well. I hope that you give it a try if you're in the neighborhood.

Had a shahi paneer calzone. At $12, I though it was pricey. But then I saw how big it was - it was huge and could easily feed two people. It had good flavor. The dough was good, although a little undercooked. It was way too much for me to eat. I would recommend Benson's to anyone who wants a unique culinary experience. Friendly service.

My first 5 star review, great tasting pizza with great service at a great price! The left overs we brought home were almost as good the next night.

Just ordered her for the first time. We ordered a Butter Curry Chicken Pizza and a Pepperoni. Even though we read the reviews, we still felt the need for a backup in case the Buttery Curry Chicken pizza was not up to our liking. The Butter Curry Chicken pizza was pretty damn good. It put a unique Indian twist on a classic Italian dish. Dipped in tzatziki this pizza was truly delicious. The crust was hand tossed and soft but it had some crunchy spots, overall I'd say the dough pie was cooked perfectly! The pepperoni pizza was also cooked to perfection and although it sat idly while we devoured the butter curry chicken pizza and was not needed as a backup tonight, will make an excellent side dish for lunch tomorrow. I can't wait to try their other signature dishes.

This place is awesome. The service was excellent. The prices are better than any other pizza joint I've been to in a long while. The butter curry chicken pizza was miraculous. The cheese bread was perfect. Their crust is the best I've had in a very long time. I have a feeling that this is going to become a regular lunch spot. The Punjabi Ranch was really good. I came in having a bad day, and left feeling like I could take on the world. Seriously, it's really some of the best pizza I've ever had.

This place is awesome. Best place around. Great value and costumer service. Pizza is great. Family business....seem very loving and friendly. veggie Paneer level 5 is my favorite. They got large pepperoni for 6.99. Large Cheese for 5.99! I did one bite into some sort piece of jewelry that hand cooked into my pizza. It was like about the size of the end of a pen...looked like a piece from a ring. oops!

Fabulous pizza. Their crust is better than most places I've tried, and while they do have the standard cheese/pepporini/etc. options, their Indian inspired options are what really shine. I've had the butter curry a few times now, and each time have asked them to ramp up the spicy a touch more. They also offer gluten free, which is also quite good.

Most of the people that reviewed this must not have ever had a really good pie. My lady and I tried this place last night after all the great reviews, and let me just say it was the worst pizza I have ever had. The price was cheap so it was not hard for us to throw away what we bought. We both tried a slice from the large pepperoni pizza, and the cheesy bread. The dipping sauce was nothing more then pasta paste, and the pizza its self had little to no sauce. The breading/crust was hard and kind of rubbery. If you like good pizza pie then this is not the place for you. However if you want good Indian cuisine I think this place might be it for you. They just have no idea about pizza.

I stayed with my Indian friends this weekend and had the best pizza of my life. Tandoori-oven cooked with homemade paneer for a roasted crust. We had the veggie with a spicy kick of caramelized veggies in aromatic spices. Where can I find you? I heard they were once in Portland.

My boyfriend and I tried it for the first time. Hands down one of my favorites!! Perfectly spicy. Made with love. Wasn't sloppy. Different from your average pizza place because there were so many different selections. Loved the variety!!

This is our 3rd time eating here and it looks like the restaurant has gone through some changes, this restaurant is in a strip mall that has the international district fell about it, with international stores/restaurants around it, it makes it interesting to walk around while you wait for the food- I was doing take out today looking for two pizzas, I settled on a Large Pepperoni, and was going to do a Medium Meat Combo pizza- I was told the Large Pep- was a carry out special at $6.99 and the They would discount they could upgrade me to a large combo and save me a $1 off the menu price of $15.99. Having had a decent experience there in the past I figured this would be a good deal, I did carry out and should have looked before I left. The pepperoni looked like about half the pizza didn't have any meat on it and it was pretty sparse the combo just didn't taste like the pizza we have had from our last 2 visits. In summary from walk in ordering to pizza ready they did great, ambiance- well lets just say its a family run pizza joint in a strip mall. Product presentation and value- not really worth it- I'll be looking for a new pizza place after this visit.

The staff was as friendly as could be, and genuinely appeared to be having a great time serving our pizza. I was just passing through the area, but I definitely recommend Benson Pizza!

  • Joshua S.

Went here a while back after reading the reviews on help, and although the idea of Indian favors on a pizza is delicious, Benson just squeaks by in technique and execution. The Indian flavors were authentic but the pizza basics left a little to be desired. The crust was dry in parts and doughy in others, and the toppings seemed a bit overcooked and dried out. I ordered take out and the guy at the shop was very courteous and friendly. If we are looking for something different and unique we might try this place again, maybe they just had a bad night, but for my one experience I'm not dying to go back.

Holy cow this place was good, best pizza i have ever had. Not the nicest building but who cares? We showed up ordered had a beer and watched a game on their tv then took our pizza home... It was a magical culinary experience, if you like unicorns dancing on your tongue see the folks at Benson pizza!

I truthfully didn't have high hopes for this place, but from the minute they answered the phone I was impressed! Service was amazing and so was the pizza!! My new go to and it's affordable!!!

We walked in on a Friday at 6 and no one else was here. We looked at each other thinking that is not a good sign! Not a fancy place but the pizza was great! We tried the butter curry and also the tandoori chicken pizzas. Both were very good. I would suggest trying the East Indian pizza menu and you will not be disappointed.

I am going to rate this place based on the following critera: Flavor/quality Value Service The quality of the food is outstanding. I have been here 3 times and all 3 times the food was great. I have had their gyros, hawaiian pizza, butterchicken curry pizza, and tandoori chicken pizza. Everything was awesome. The ingredients were very fresh, well-cooked, and the pizza was really juicy. The indian pizzas were really unique and had great herbs and spices to make it really different from traditional American. It was simply delicious. Their pizza is also not too greasy which made it a lot more manageable to eat. The value is great too. 10 bucks for a pizza of that quality? Bring it on! I will be back here for many years to come. The service is overall pretty awesome too. The owner seemed really friendly and nice, and made sure we were comfortable and brought us water and even offered us the remote to the television. The only real knock I will have to give is the wait time for the pizza. Now I know pizza takes a while to cook, but this place was definitely stretching it. It is the longest i have ever waited for pizza. I waited almost 30 minutes for some, which to me is way too long. So if your gonna come here, call ahead of time which i now do.

Tasty in theory, but lacking in execution. Tried the butter chicken pizza and shahi paneer pizza and the quality of both were dissappointing. The pizza crust was dense and doughy and pretty much all you can taste. There was not enough cheese and the curry flavors did not stand out.

A little more expensive than standard pizza, but 100 times better! Everything tastes amazing on this chicken tandoori pizza and pepperoni pizza! The owner is super friendly. I will be back :)

I am a New York City native, so I have very specific beliefs as to what "real" pizza is supposed to taste like. I also cook and eat a lot of Indian food. However the concept of Pujabi style curry pizza kind of put me off for a while even though these guys are directly across the street from my bank and next door to my barber. My mistake. These folks have created a fusion cuisine of New York style pizza with North Indian flavors that is (expletive deleted) amazing! Met the owner and found him pleasant, intelligent very articulate and not the least bit shy about expressing opinions. We were deep into a wide ranging discussion about sporting, social and spiritual issues before either of us realized I hadn't ordered. Based on the reviews here, I defaulted to the Butter Curry Chicken pizza and it was fantastic. Now I have to try all the other variations.

Excellent pizza, great crust, right ratios of sauce/stuff/flavors, love the variety of flavor combinations. We had the chicken pesto and Bombay chicken. Skip the salad. Worth going out of your way for.

Benson Pizza is a needle in a haystack. When you pull up and park, don't be fooled by the local surroundings. This place is a real gem. Go in and order the Tandoori Chicken Pizza, the Punjabi Ranch dip, and one or two cup fulls of Punjabi Tea. The owners CJ and Jasleen will now work their magic. Make sure to save a slice or two to take home. If you don't you will be fantasizing about it all night and wishing you had followed my advice. Leave feeling optimistic. Your encounter with CJ will make you believe in excellent customer service again. Warning: You will most likely return. It's that good. Open every day of the year from 11 am to 11 pm. Ingredients are fresh. Environment is relaxed and home-like. Music is exotic. Service is exceptional. What are you waiting for?

Wow! I ordered their garlic chicken pizza & cheesy bread. First their cheesy bread came with TONS of cheese, and the fresh cheese to, so gooey & yummy. Their pizza was fabulous. Perfect amount of sauce and you could tell their toppings were fresh & unlike most pizza places, you could tell that they took the time to even distribute the toppings. Wow! Lots of toppings to, stuffed high with them & lots of cheese. End of crust was a bit crunchy for my personal liking but incredible and worth the price!

  • Craig S.

Been going here for over a year and the quality has not changed and stayed wonderful. The crust is home made and buttery. The cheesey bread sticks are the best i have ever had. The special Indian pizzas are great and very well balanced. The standard pizzas are a great prixe and they recently added gluten free dough.

With my wife being a self proclaimed "pizza snob", it's hard to find a pizza she loves. We found it at Benson Pizza the first time we stopped in (after seeing some of the other reviews here on Yelp). The reviews don't lie, this place is AWESOME! The staff is friendly and very helpful if you've never had "East Indian" style pizza. As others have said, the Butter Curry Chicken pizza is to die for! Come check it out, you won't be disappointed!

I agree with the other Yelpers who gave positive reviews. We ordered delivery the first time and were surprised how affordable, and how delicious it was. Tonight we ate at the restaurant and actually tried one of the Indian pizzas. I highly recommend it! Great, fresh ingredients, good service, and a nice place to have a pizza out.

Still one of my fav. Pizza places ever. The owner and his wife are amazing generous and easy going. If you have a problem or question they go beyond what you could ever expect. The food is always amazing. I have had to cut back in the past months because of the economy. But I make it a point to at least once a month to visit them and order a pizza. Shai Paneer is my fav. Although really every type of pizza is delicious.

We just moved to Kent 6 months ago and have tried many, many pizza joints in this area. Romio's, Gators, Can-Am, Garlic Jim's...etc. This is BY FAR the best out of all of them! Seriously give them a try. Their ingredients were fresh and the crust is very good as well, soft but still has a little crunch to it, but it isn't droopy...you pizza lovers know what I am talking about. The inside of the place is okay. Just a couple big dining tables laid out that seat 8 each, maybe more. Not fancy by any means, but that's not what you go to a pizza joint for. The owner is very nice. Has excellent customer service, and most importantly, he's honest! Now that's hard to come by. We went in there to dine-in and order 2 pizzas. One was a pepperoni for $10.99 and the other a supreme for $12.99. He said that the most you will ever pay here for a pizza is $12.99 no matter what. Now that was good to know. He also told me they had a $7.99 pepperoni carry-out special, but since I was ordering another pizza as well, he'd give me the carry-out price for the pepperoni!! Now that's customer service!!! I asked him about drinks and he said they do not have fountain drinks and only sells the 2 liters to you...and then he explained why. Even though he sells them at $2.49 to make some money, usually just one 2 liter will be enough for a small family instead of buying 3-4 fountain drinks at $1.50 each. I can still make a little money, and save by not buying the fountain machine and stuff, and in turn pass the savings on to the customer! This guy is a real diamond in the rough. If you can look past the decor and the east Indian music playing in the background over the television, then you will absolutely love this place. After we ate at this place, the last pizza place we haven't tried yet at the time was Can-Am Pizza, which is literally 100 feet away. The other two didn't want to try any other places and said that they have already found their Kent Pizza Home, and deep down inside, I felt that way too, but I insisted that next week we try Can-Am (I paid $14.29 for a medium 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 Hawaiian by the way) Well, 3 weeks have passed and I am writing this review on our way to pick up from Benson Pizza.

After months of passing by we finally decided to try this place out, all I have to say is OMG!!!! The Butter chicken pizza was to die for, it was amazing and the customer service was amazing. Really nice owner, they really care about the customers instead of money. We will definitely order from here from now on. Yummy :)

I've ordered 3 different pizzas from here. Chicken garlic. Mexican, pepperoni, and cheese bread. While it's not the worst I've ever had it didn't live up to the hype. The crust is to dense wish it was a little fluffier. The amount of cheese they stick on there is a little much. I tend to load up my quesadilla with cheese but they take it to the next level. love me some cheese but there is a limit. If you like the next level your in the right place. The people are super nice it's just not for me.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and stopped in earlier tonight on the way home from work. I grabbed a butter chicken pizza and was pretty impressed-the meat itself was a little lacking in spice but overall the pizza had a wonderful flavor, especially paired with the tzaziki ranch sauce. The veggies were nicely roasted on top and seemed very fresh. Their crust is one of the best I've ever tasted, especially the caramelized outer edge. My only real issue was there wasn't as much cheese as I would like and while I ordered a 4/5 spice level, to me it was more like a 2/5-too mild for my liking but just enough warmth to be acceptable. It is somewhat expensive, but you'll know why after you eat-it doesn't leave you feeling sluggish and is actually satisfying.

Yummy pizza. Got one large Hawaiian and one large butter chicken. Both delish. Large isn't quite enough large. Should have gotten ex large but that wasn't clear in the website. Will return for sure. We had them deliver and it was rather quick.

Found this place on yelp while camping in Seattle. Thank God!! Best pizza my husband and I have ever had. And we eat a LOT of pizza! Indian food, curry, on a pizza?! It had never occurred to me but it's a match made in heaven. The crust is supremely, hands down, phenomenal. And the prices are great, way more affordable than what were used to in Cali. We ordered half butter chicken curry, half pepperoni, two days in a row! Super impressed.

So, so, so disappointed! When we moved to the area 9 months ago this was by far out favorite pizza place and remained so for months. But lately something has shifted. One pizza tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge and we were charged almost $8 to add mushrooms to a $6 pepperoni pizza. I think there were about 3 minuscule mushrooms chopped up on that one. We decided to give them another couple tries and each time was even more disappointing until last night when it went too far. We ordered 1 calzone and 1 Caesar salad. First, the salad for $7 was TINY. I mean very small styrofoam container when you get a side of fries tiny. This consisted of iceberg lettuce (first I have ever seen in a Caesar) the worst store bought croutons and horrible watery dressing. We did not eat this. Second was the Calzone. Which upon first glance seemed okay. WRONG! What I took to be yummy stretchy mozzarella cheese was actually uncooked dough through the entire thing. Which meant there was NO cheese. This we too had to stop eating and instead opted for Taco Bell which my husband was smart enough to pick up as he doubted the restaurant when they said this was enough for 2 people. We will never, ever order again.

We were on a road trip, booked a room in Kent and were famished when we got to town. My sweetie and I had never been to Kent, so we turned to Yelp to help us find a spot to chow down. We like to try new things, so when we came across Benson Pizza, we were really excited! The thought of Tandoori pizza peaked our interest and our appetites. The plaza where it is located looked a little sketchy. There were only a few cars in the parking lot and no one in the restaurant. Advice: Don't be scared, just go in and order. Get an Indian pizza and savor it. i don't know where else you can get a fusion of flavor like this. I would like to see a little more tandoori chicken on the pizza and maybe a yogurt or dal dipping sauce. My sweetie loved it and tried to eat more slices than his stomach would allow. The owner was really nice. The restaurant was clean. The food was easy on the wallet and yummy! Enjoy, if your tastebuds like adventure!

The pizza was outstanding! We ordered half butter chicken, half meat lovers. The lady was very pleasant and offered great service. I liked that I could help myself to the beer cooler and watch TV. The chairs and tables are actually pretty nice in an otherwise drab, hole in the wall location. I can't give five stars without atmosphere.

Okay!! Thank you to the 4 yelpers who reviewed this place! We found it with no problem and the owner is so incredibly nice. I agree customer service is amazing!! So we were offered to try the pizza from the family that was eating but we looked at it and knew immediately we were in the right place!!! The pizza is topped with fresh ingredients and we got to taste shahi paneer which is homemade cheese. Yummy!!!! The pizza was delicious, we ordered the shahi paneer and the (I cannot remember the spelling) toordini?? Both were amazing! Highly recommend to my yelper friends and to all those who take the time to yelp as this helps us find places like this!!!! Thanks!!

I'm going to break this up into three pieces: food, service, location/setting. There is a reason for this so bear with me. Food - The other reviewers here are spot on. This pizza is at the top of my list for being really, really good. I went with my family and since the kids won't eat anything but pepperoni, that is what we had. It was fantastic. The crust is pretty thick (think Papa John's meets Pizza Hut deep dish). The pepperoni was crispy, the sauce was really nice, and the cheese was perfectly melted. We also ordered bread sticks. They were OK. Pizza gets 5 stars. Service - Service was super fast and hospitable. A very kind Indian gal helped us out with everything. We had to ring a bell when we got there to tell her we had arrived. There wasn't much talking or banter going on with her. She brought us what we asked for and promptly went through the curtain to the back. Service gets 4 stars. Setting - This place is in a strip mall with other Indian stores/business. It is pretty small and there really isn't much decor to it. The chairs are huge and sturdy. There was a TV playing an old movie. There was no soda machine, no place to get napkins or silverware or anything like that. Just some tables and a counter and a refrigerator with 2 litter bottles of soda. I'm guessing most of their business is take out. Location gets 3 stars. Overall, this was a great pizza adventure. The cost was a little higher than I expected. Take out costs were cheaper than eating in. They have regular specials on their website. Good food and good service. I can't wait to go back and try some of their specialty Indian pizzas!

First time ordering and after seeing all the butter chicken pictures, I ordered half butter chicken, half Benson gourmet for pick up. The man on phone was extremely polite. He informed me that half & half orders are $2 extra, which is thoughtful- many places will just charge without telling you. Then, he confirmed my order. Feels good knowing they were going to have your order right. After a few bites, I thought "hmm it's not bad." Then I realized I ate half of the extra large by myself already so it must of been better than I expected. The butter chicken was good, but I actually prefer the Benson gourmet over it. I've had butter chicken at Indian restaurants before and it's very flavorful. On the pizza, the "butter chicken" taste was there but just not strong as what I'm accustom to. With that said, the subtleness of the spice wasn't a bad thing. I could definitely throw it on rice, eat it and be happy. The pizza crust was simple and crispy. In today's world of molesting the crust with cheese, bacon, or cheese and bacon inside the crust, it was a pleasant reminder the simplicity is sometimes better. It's a different take on pizza and worth trying out. The prices are reasonable. I recommend Googling their website for menu and prices since it's not linked on Yelp.

I order a taco supreme that was horrible, the Lettuce was brown and the sour cream was rotten. I called them back and politely complained about my pizza, the manager said he would only refund me half my money. He never refunded my money at all. If you want to waste your money on rotten pizza then this is your place.

Forget looking for the best pepperoni pizza. That's so common. Forget all those traditional toppings. Indian pizza is where it's at. Ever since we left the Bay Area, we've been on the hunt for Indian pizza...aka Desi pizza. I know it's not common out here. Actually, it's downright impossible to find. Where you can find it in abundance in California, here it's like digging for truffles. Darling, this is definitely a truffle. A great big indian pizza truffle of love, love, love. The people working here are real gems, too! We had so much fun when we lived in India and when we shared what we missed about it, the owner said, "I think we might have some parathas in the back...would you like to try one?" We said YES!!! It was wonderful. It was like being back in India - there was flavor with a hint of kick. It was just fabulous. We'd come back for that alone...however, the other reason to come back is the pizza. I ordered the Butter Curry Chicken pizza, mild. Next time I will order it medium. The sauce was lovely and not too much so that it didn't saturate the crust. The crust was crispy! The chicken wasn't dry, either. It was well done. Still moist. Mr Carina M ordered the Punjabi Paneer Korma pizza, medium. That had a nice amount of kick and it was well seasoned. I definitely would recommend it. Sizes are proportionate to pricing. My medium sized Halal Butter Chicken pizza cost $17.99. They didn't skimp on the toppings and I really felt I was getting good value for dollar. Mr Carina M's pizza came in a large as the smallest size available for $18.99. 2 delicious pizzas and drinks cost under $40. For once, we didn't get all disgruntled because we paid $40 for pizza with skimpy toppings and terrible crust. This was all high quality and so very fresh. We also had leftovers for days and it was well worth it. Are we going back? Heck yes!!! Maybe we'll see you there. :) Kent may be far for some, but this trip is well worth it.

Seriously. The gluten free pizza is uhmazing. The chicken tikka masala pizza for the toppings? Well, let's just say that my soon-to-be husband and I can't quit talking about it and wish this pizza joint was closer to home in Bellingham! Don't walk to Benson's, RUN! It's amazeballs !

Such a strange place. But really good, unusual pizzas. Give it a try! Indian pizza? Who's even heard of such a thing? I saw it on yelp and had to try it. I don't eat meat so it was a home run. I just wish I could remember exactly which pizza I got!

We came here for the $5.99 deal, and then was told it was for carry out only. Which I thought was weird, but whatever. We ordered 2 large pizzas and cheese sticks. The person at the counter was incredibly nice. Probably the nicest person working at a pizza joint in all of Kent. We actually liked the cheese sticks more than the pizza. Although, the guy who works there said if we dined in, the pizza has double the cheese and double the meat (double the prize as well), which would have fixed our problem I think. Overall it was a great experience, and we will definitely be coming back.

Tried the vegetarian paneer tikka masala, spice level 5. I was expecting a saucy Indian pizza, but there was hardly any sauce on the pizza, and the spiciness level was mild. Setting aside the disappointment to my expectations, the pizza was still unique and enjoyable. The pizza went great with the raita(?) sauce. I would try again.

This is going to be brief because I've only tried one pizza here, which was the butter chicken (alleged, which is what my brother ordered). It wasn't that good, and we suspected that they may have gotten our order wrong and gave us tandoori chicken instead. The pizza dough was okay, and the toppings were just okay. I found the chicken to be dry. All in all, the concept seemed unique but the execution wasn't that fantastic. I won't go out of my way to come back, as there was nothing that was stand out. It's too bad too, because butter chicken pizza just sounds like it would be amazing.

Pizza took an hour to come. Food was cold, "hot" wings had so sauce, spice or flavor. The gyro bread was really hard. $5 for delivery even though I live right down the hill. I though I would give this place a try because of all the great reviews.. My experience wasn't great.

Thank goodness for this little pizza place!! This has to be some of THE BEST pizza I have ever had. Warm chewy crust and no skimping on the toppings or fillings!

Seriously one of the best pizza places ever. Indian pizza might sound weird but trust me its not. It is the best thing you could put in your face. I love this restaurant every single pizza we have ordered has been wonderful. This is the type of place where its impossible to have favorites because everything you try ends up being your favorite. There are so many wonderful things to try on the menu its almost hard to pick just one or two. I would highly recommend exploring this menu, there has not been one single disappointment.

This is honestly the largest pizza I've ever had in my entire life and the most unique. Who would ever think of fusing Indian cuisine with pizza?! Benson Pizza offers a size called the super awesome and it is a 20 inch diameter pizza. If you're thinking of a family size pizza, you might want to stick with a large or extra large (18 inch). Just out of fun curiosity, we decided to check out how big this super awesome is. We called in and ordered to-go. If you order half of one type of pizza and half of another, it'll cost an extra $3. I really wanted to try a unique flavor and a regular flavor so it was worth the cost for me. The lady who answered the phone was very sweet and patient with me as I ordered. I decided to go with half butter chicken and the Benson gourmet. She told me it would be about 20 minutes. Benson Pizza is located in a small plaza and shouldn't be too hard to find. We came and were greeted with a big smile. The cost was around $27 for the super awesome size. It is a little pricey but the size can feed a lot of hungry people. She gave us some sauce and a few pickled jalepenos in a bag for us as well. The people who work here are indeed super nice. The pizza smelled so strong and fragrant as we were coming home and I was so ready to eat. We brought it in and it was giant!! It was me, my partner and my brother versus this giant 20 inch pizza. I was counting on the two boys to make the biggest dent and surprisingly, we were left with about 3 slices of pizza left. I would say that we did quite a good job with super satisfied tummies. The butter chicken was really unique. You could taste all the Indian spices and the chicken was really rich. It's nothing like you would ever expect in pizza form but it tasted good in a strange way. The cheese on the pizza tasted of higher quality than most places and was so ooey and gooey. I also loved the amount of veggies on the butter chicken pizza that came in every bite. The Benson gourmet is like a supreme pizza and tasted standard. The crust was crisp but I felt that the bottom could have been cooked a little bit longer. I personally liked the butter chicken over the gourmet. The dipping sauce that is given looks like ranch but it's not. I'm assuming it's some special sauce that goes well with the whole Indian fusion idea. I used some to dip my crust in and it gave it an interesting flavor. I'm still not sure what it is but it was different and worth a try. Although it's not the most popular idea to fuse Indian cuisine and pizza together, I think that it's great that one business has done so. I hope that more people become aware of it and take a leap of faith to try it. Next time, maybe I'll try the tikka masala!

Awesome service and even better food! I'm so glad I found this place. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to order a personal sized pizza however you can customize a larger pizza to suit a couple different tastes but not all pizzas can be halved. We will definitely be back.

Out of this world pizzas! These guys really need to be featured in the Food Network's Diners, Drive-In's and Dives show. These pizzas are not for the faint of heart and xenophobic folks. With fusion influences ranging from Italian-Indian cuisine, this pizza place wins hands down on originality and its surprisingly large selection of pie. Butter Chicken Curry pizza... You've gotta taste it to believe it.

Honestly I was really intrigued by the whole Indian pizza concept. Unfortunately it didn't pan out the way it did in my head. I ordered the butter chicken pizza and I could barely taste the butter chicken. I got spicyness, cilantro and ginger. It reminded me of a standard pizza, nothing special. Also, it was 15 bucks for a medium, not worth it. Service was great though!

It's pretty good. We have ordered it three times and it has been consistently good... not perfect, but good.

Great selections on pizza! They have the traditional flavors, but there's also Indian infused pizza. My boyfriend and I had the butter chicken pizza and tandoori chicken pizza. It was awesome! I personally liked the butter chicken better. It also came with titziki sauce to dip your crust or add to your pizza. The owner/employee was extremely helpful and kind. Definitely will be back! They offer gluten free pizza, so I'm interested in trying:)

Really enjoyed their pizza. We had the combination & the butter chicken. Thought it'd be interesting & it was, & very good. Excellent crust. Will definitely order again. Wish they delivered to us.

  • Heri M.

The staff was very friendly, we ordered an hour or so before closing. some places skimp or do a half assed job that late but nope, we got the tandoori and butter chicken. words cannot express the mouth orgasm we had. very flavorful and they give you taziki to dip the pizza in. Will be back very soon.

Thanks!!
