Love this place! The steak is so yummy. My favorites side is the baked potato and the potato skins are so good. It's neat when the wait staff dances. Fun experience all around

First of all, if you have peanut allergies, you might want to stay away from this place. There are barrels of peanuts in the lobby and peanut shells all over the floor and a bucket of peanuts at every table and they even give you bags of peanuts when you leave. If you don't have peanut allergies, then this place is a decent place. The service was good, friendly staff and moderately priced. The steak was a bit on the salty side, but that maybe from my mushroom topping, but good portions and good side choices. The atmosphere was good for kids as well. It gets crowded and although they don't take reservations, you can call ahead to get your wait number and by the time you arrive, your wait time is shorter.

Love this place! I always order the steak, loaded baked potato, and Ceasar salad...the flavor is always great! With some trial and error, I've discovered that it's best to order the steak one degree of "doneness" above what you would normally order and it will be perfectly cooked every time (I order it medium here but would typically order medium rare). Fried pickles and rattlesnake bites are also a hit with our family and my daughter (age 3) loves being allowed to throw the peanuts on the floor. At times it's a little too loud but a fun atmosphere overall.

This place has really good food. I thought the service was just ok. I would come back because the atmosphere and food were good. I got the BBQ chicken and it was very good some of the other people got steaks and they were all very happy with their food. They also give you a basket of bread for the table, which I always like! The 4 stars is for the service- I thought our waiter could have been nicer.

It was nice to see a good steak house in Kennewick. It is a bit noisy and the wait time for table can be long after 5:30pm, but the wait staff was very attentive once we were seated. Their rolls and butter were awesome! The steaks were cooked just the way I like it. So why the three stars and not more? For what you are getting, it's really average food with a pricey menu. There is a side show of the staff doing a line dance, but half of them looked completely bored. I would go back, but I wouldn't go during peak hours....it's not good enough to wait for a table.

Do NOT go here! Beware! You might get incredibly lucky but your chances are slim. I went there tonight, ordered the half slab of ribs. It was overcooked but covered in sauce so looked really good. Too dry. My waitress couldn't quite understand that when I order a beer (with my dinner) that it should actually come at the same time as my dinner, not 15 minutes later (not an exaggeration). I notice they have T-shirts on that say "support the troops" and ask if they give military discounts. She says "oh yes, we sure do" very emphatically and when I get my 66.00 bill for me and three friends (all vets) the "local hero" discount was 1.60 (I kid you not). I would have been much less insulted if they'd simply said "no, I'm sorry, we don't. F'd up people, service and food. We will NOT be back and some people there need an ass whoopin.

Let me start by saying, I love Texas Roadhouse. I was first introduced to the one in Christiansburg, VA when my now hubby was living there. Then we found a way to eat at a few others while we traveled (FL & PA). So when we saw that WA had one but on the "East" side, we thought we'd make a trip and check it out. Perhaps it is because I have been to other locations not in the middle of nowhere but this location's service & food was absolutely terrible! We did arrive later than planned due to feeding the baby and having a long drive from Seattle. But we were still there well before closing. Our waitress barely checked on us and acted as if we were pestering her being there. The kind where you have to flag her down for extra bread (let's face it, one appeal is the rolls) and then she totally forgot my hubby's beer. Until well after his steak arrived and he had to ask. Biggest Pet Peeve ever. I really wanted to love it because it's "Texas Roadhouse" but it feels like this location just has the name but not the taste or feel. Don't go out of your way to eat here as the service 'is' terrible like people said.

Came for lunch today with one of my girlfriends, this was our first time. And it was awesome not only was everyone friendly but our waitress kicked ass. We sat in the bar and Nicole came right over and took our drink orders. Now for someone who doesn't drink often I'm not really sure what I want I just know I like sweet drinks and she recommended what she thought I would like best and damn straight it was so good. That girl knows what she's doing and she's great at it. The rolls they give you while you wait for your food were amazing and they serve it with a scoop of butter that has brown sugar and cinnamon in it, unlike anything I've ever had I could have just ate the rolls for lunch, and honestly we actually thought about it! Food was amazing, atmosphere was welcoming and we had fun! Thank guys for a great experience we will be back!

The best steak house in the tri-cities!.. The only down side is the noise - its always VERY loud... hence 4 stars, and there's normally a wait. The steak is always perfectly cooked, the sides are good. It's a good place for a good steak.

first time at this chain. Wasn't a good start to the visit with finding a hair in the bread. server was apologetic and said a manager would be right over...he came about 3/4 of the way through our meal and started that it was pretty gross but made no offer to comp &/or discount anything. meal was good with large portions (would rather have smaller portions and lower prices since leftovers never seem to get eaten). the server goofed a few things on our order that we had to ask several times to fix...and as seems to be the case at most places these days...server disappeared after meal was served. Wasn't very busy for most of our time there so not sure why all the problems...lack of training, lack of leadership with management? food was tasty but not sure about a repeat visit which is why only 2 stars. we had used a gift card.

Food has always been awesome. Service can be a hit or miss depending on how crowded/busy it is at the time, which I guess is to be expected. Also, the noise level is always slightly obnoxious & makes it hard to have a conversation. But the food alone gets the 4 stars.

The service staff was very friendly but the food was so so. Plus it cost the same as if we'd have eaten down the road at that Australian steak house. You know the one I'm talking about. I don't think we'll eat here again. Plus, we had to eat in the bar or the wait would have been very long. It appears as if they hide the people waiting off to the side so that you'll go in before you realize there's a huge long wait.

This place is so great I came back the 2nd night in a row. The service is superb and the food is great too. But most of all the service sold me. I highly recommend!!!

I came here right when it opened on a tuesday and our group was seated right away. The weekend can be super busy though, be prepared to wait! The staff seemed really happy and enthusiastic, the dancing was too much but adds to the atmosphere they're going for. I really wish they would turn down the music though. If I can't hear the server and they can't hear me, it's TOO LOUD. The food is always consistently good and affordable.

I'm quite surprised by how much I actually liked this place. I'm not much for kitsch or country music. That said, the food was delicious and the ambience wasn't that obnoxious. They do require their employees to cover their tattoos with shirts or armbands, which, as a multiple-tattoo owner, I sort of found offensive. But, that's neither here nor there. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Texas Roadhouse, and I'd probably go back.

Server (Fidelina) was amazing, but the kitchen was slow. We waited about 40 minutes for our dinner from the time we ordered.

I hate to see all the bad reviews Texas Roadhouse is getting. All though from the crowd they have just about ALL the time, you wouldn't know that so many people don't like this place. We've been a couple of time and have enjoyed our meal every time. I ALWAYS order the Rib eye... My husband on the other hand... Likes to switch his order up. This last time I... of course... had the Rib eye, and the hubby had the Chicken Fried Steak. I hardly EVER order chicken fried steak out because in my search of chicken fried steak in just about the WHOLE state of Washington, I've never even found a decent chicken fried steak. Being from Texas I pride myself on knowing a good chicken fried steak when I taste one. LOL So, when the waiter was back with our drinks we were both ready to order... mine... rib eye, hubby surprised me by ordering the chicken fried steak. I gasped! WHAT are you doing??? You KNOW that they don't have good chicken fried steak up here!!! He said... you know... I have to give it a try. So, he went out on a limb. I got the usual sides for my steak, baked potato and salad with thousand island dressing. Yeah, I know... you thought I was going to say ranch... didn't ya? Hubby got mashed potato's and green beans. Oh, and the hubby ordered a margarita with a shot of tequila on the side. The margarita was good... not GREAT, but it was good. So, while waiting on my salad and our meal we had some of their wonderful fresh rolls. I have to be careful because I'll eat too many of them and not have room for my meal... so I limited myself to just ONE roll. Now THAT'S what you call control. A little bit later the waiter comes out with our meals. Husband got what HE ordered... I on the other hand got a rib eye (check), baked potato with everything (check) and green beans.... WAIT A MINUTE! I didn't order green beans. I informed the waiter of this... he said he was sorry and would bring me my salad... I personally prefer my salad BEFORE my meal... so I said... No... that's ok, I'll try the green beans... maybe I'll like them. First thing I always do is cut into my steak to see if it's cooked to my order. It was... they usually do a good job on temperature. The baked potato was good as well... I LOVE that they put salt on the outside of the potato. As far as the green beans... well... I wish I would have gotten my salad. NOW let's talk about the chicken fried steak... I was lucky that he hubby shares much better than I do. He even asked me if I wanted to try it. I was skeptical... but said... OK. Thank goodness I tried it... BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK IN THE TRI-CITIES hands down! I finally found a place that I will eat chicken fried steak. I realize that there are Texas Roadhouse's in Texas... but in Texas... that is not the place to order chicken fried steak... there are MUCH better places to order it... but here... it is YUMMY! Next time I'm at Texas Roadhouse... I'm going to order it. No doubt. I do have to mention this too though, I wasn't crazy about the cream gravy... it was a little on the sweet side to me. So, I'd probably go for brown gravy ONE THE SIDE for mine. But if you like chicken fried steak... this IS the place to get it. I do also have to mention the service... this place IS lacking in service. Drinks went try... wrong food brought out... so if you are ALL about service and not really about the food, I would say this place isn't for you. Also the noise level in there is pretty high... not a place for a nice romantic dinner. If you don't mind a noisy place... just acceptable service, but wonderful food... then I say High tail it down to Texas Roadhouse... you won't be disappointed. =)

This place is overrated. I can't of any other way to put it....I hate that the staff puts on the same song and dance (no pun intended) for every table they serve. It seems to be the same rehearsed speech and it's so loud that it just reminds me of a circus. I've given this place a few tries and I just can't fall in love with anything about it because; the wait was way to long (and why does it take 5 teenage girls to figure out how to operate a computer for seating, sooo willy nilly), the drinks are weak, and the food is meh. I've had way better bbq and steak at other places...you're definitely paying for average food and a hyped up atmosphere. *p.s. I hated having to watch our server do a stupid line dance while I waited for more water and my salad dressing, since they forgot it. And by the way, they say the menus are the worst thing you can touch in a restaurant, it's true...mine was covered in some sort of sticky sauce and greasy fingerprints. Not only are the menus icky, but so were the vinegar and oil dressing bottles. I used my napkin to pick them up because they had never been cleaned.

Prime rib was good but a little on the salty side. They have these amazing smelling honey bread that are free. Just took one bite and it was warm and soft. Pretty tempting to eat. I only gave 3 stars since I ordered the food to go and cannot rate the service. The Prime rib price was very reasonable for 12 oz.

45 minutes at our table and not even water. Lowering expectations accordingly. Everything wrong with America condensed to a perfect microcosm within the walls of a cookie-cutter restaurant chain. Edit: 50 minutes in Server: "Can I get y'all some more bread?" Entire table in chorus: "We never had bread!"

Recently we were on a road trip and we made it a point to hit the Texas Roadhouse along the way, since we don't have them in Oregon. We were able to see the different personalities of them. The steaks were good, the potato hot, which I can say is not always the case in other states. We called in around 5pm and they said a 30 minute wait, which was perfect since we were 30 minutes away. We got there, with our call ahead seating number, which worked out great, other people were arriving in mass. It was a race for the door. We got seated as soon as we got there. I read reviews for this one about the noise level and it is true, it is a little louder than any other Texas Roadhouse. The music is up louder and I have never heard them yell at the top of their lungs for a birthday or anniversary before they start singing and dancing. It only last about 30 seconds, so no biggie. Our waiter was kind of slow on the drink refills and that would be the only negative thing I can say about this location. I would recommend going in and seeing if you like the food and atmosphere, prices are reasonable enough that it won't make you walk out feeling you over paid.

They are a little loud at times- normally when they're doing Birthday shout-outs. Service can be a little slow at times but is great when it's there. They're polite, courteous and smile a lot. The food can be great at times and average at other times- it's normally very good to great quality! Prices are pretty good for the amount of food you get- still affordable unless your really hungry. I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area.

My wife and I LOVE the Texas Roadhouse! This is our all-time favorite restaurant in Tri-Cities and we frequent it too often! The food is awesome, the service is great, the atmosphere is fun and the prices are reasonable but not cheap. A couple can expect to spend about $40 on average for dinner (more if you like to drink alcohol). My favorite dish is the HUGE chicken fried steak, complete with mushrooms, gravy and onions. It's nearly impossible to finish and the flavor is out of this world! The fried catfish is also awesome! My wife always gets the sirloin and it is VERY good I must agree! Best of all is the bread rolls that are served in plenty while waiting for your food! Be careful not to eat too many and get too full to eat your dinner. The rolls are simply awesome!!! Home-baked bread and cinnamon butter! Mmmm!!! I'm not even a huge fan of country music, but it fits the Texas cowboy atmosphere and adds to the fun. The employees stop to line dance about every half hour or so, which is also fun to watch. Our experience with service has almost always been exceptional! There was only one time our server didn't really take care of us that well, but that has not typically been our experience at all. We frequent enough that a few of the waitresses recognize us and there are always smiles to go around. The drinks are good too! The only bad thing I can think of to say about this place is the wait is occasionally long... but, in my opinion, that's actually a good thing, because it means that A LOT of people really like this place and come here often! If you don't like waiting, just call ahead and then show up on time. Only so many people can fit in this place, so naturally there is going to be a wait when the place is full. Overall this is an awesome place to eat out! Definitely recommended!!!

I had never been to a texas roadhouse, and don't get as excited about BBQ as my husband, but, How can you beat amazing service, decent prices and huge portions? Our waiter was not only attentive, we had managers checking on us, chatting with us, and about 10 different employees said thanks for coming in or ask if we enjoyed ourselves. Amazing service!! The line dancing is fun, and everyone seems to be happy to work there. I'm not sure why others have such bad reviews. We couldn't have been more pleased!!

Boneless Chicken Wings had good flavor and heat. Salmon was a little heavy on the butter and was a little disappointing. Steak fries were similar to Red Robins. Service was great (My waitress was named Remy) and atmosphere was good although a little loud. Overall, for a chain restaurant it was an enjoyable experience and I would go back again.

We waited a long time and tried to get in this restaurant, only to find it packed! So we're stoked when we got in on a Wednesday evening in June 2014. Sat down, and immediately noticed the music was LOUD.... too loud to carry on a conversation! We had steak, steak fries/baked potato, and salads. We ordered our steak medium rare, having been warned by the waiter; this was good because any rarer and it would still be mooing! My caesar salad was lettuce, dressing, 3 croutons and a few bits of parmesan cheese. The fries were not very crisp. All in all, a disappointing experience. The wait staff, however, was excellent. The "ripped off from Hooters" staff dance was cheesy.

In short, the main issue for us was wait times. We called ahead at 6:06PM Saturday and was told to be there 15 minutes earlier than our hour wait now that we were in the queue. We got there early and waited until long after the proposed 7:06 seating time until I finally asked when we were to be seated. We were then told we were second on the list for next seating. What a complete crock that was. Another 30 minutes passed before we finally got seated. Drinks (non alcoholic) were delivered quickly and our appetizer of "rattlesnake bites" did not take too long to arrive. The rattlesnake bites are jalapeno bits and jack cheese rolled in breading and deep fried. They were actually pretty good. A little hot, but that was what we wanted anyway. Normally we do not order appetizers, but we had a freebie from a school fundraiser. I ordered a sirloin and ribs combo plate with chili and baked potato sides. The sirloin was cooked medium as I requested, but was not great. The ribs were not good at all. It seemed they must have been sitting around a long time or something. I have ordered ribs here before and they were actually good. The chili was very good, though I had a couple of "non meat tissue" bites that were a bit unexpected and unappealing. The baked potato was fine, as one would hope. My wife had the sirloin, mashed potatoes and a salad. Her only complaint was that the steak wasn't that good. My 9-year-old son had the kids chicken strips and fries, which he did not finish. We had once ordered some "Chicken Critters", so we knew to never ever get that again. My son loved the rolls, of which we had three 4-roll baskets. Seriously, he had 8 of the twelve! So I do not know if he didn't like his chicken strips, or really liked the rolls. The atmosphere was basically as noisy as possible and we also had wait staff talking over the wall beside us to the reception people our whole meal, which was a bit annoying. Now while getting to sit down and eat, even with the call ahead, took FOREVER, they did whatever they had to do to get us out of there as fast as possible so they could seat the next person that waited far too long. Total meal price including $11 gratuity was around $62. Though the place is not bad, and they have a bunch of food on the menu this displaced Texan might actually try, we will never be back when we see a lot of folks waiting because either they improperly estimate how long turnover will take or they flat lie about it. We will instead opt for the nearby Outback Steakhouse, or the also nearby Famous Dave's Barbecue. IMMEDIATE UPDATE: I just read from another reviewer that they allowed a non service dog into the restaurant. I will leave my review as A-OK, but if I saw that I would: talk to the manager, leave very angry, write the lowest review ever given to a restaurant, and then tell every single person I know as many times as warranted to never go to this place. People!!! Do not take your dogs into restaurants. And restaurants!!! Do not let them.

I absolutely love this place!...I have only eaten here a couple times, but both times they were extremely busy, but regardless of how busy it was, both the service and the food were top-notch. I definetly recommend this place, and it's a damn shame that they don't have one closer to where I live because I would eat there all the time!

Visited on a Saturday morning right after opening. Great food! Great service! Always happy with our experience when visiting! I must recommend the "road kill" and fried pickles! Great and we will be back!! family friendly every time!

Ok, so to start, my husband and I went for a dinner date last night to eat here. When we left, we both took a box of left over food, and I was prepared to give this place 3 stars. Let me explain why I decided on 2 stars.... First, I will say, I selected NOT good for kids because I would not even consider taking my younger 2 boys here until they are at least 12! It's not that it is necessarily not good for all kids, just the fact that they have peanut shells all over the floor...I can just see coming home from a place like that and my kids suddenly deciding that now it is ok to put food/garbage on the floor and just leave it there. Also I selected NOT good for groups because typically when you eat in a group, you also like to have conversation. You can't hear yourself think in this place, let alone hear a person 3 feet away from you speak... My 3 star rating would have said, I gave them the 3rd star due to the fact that my steak was cooked PERFECTLY. But, this morning as I went to cut my steak, prior to heating it back up, I found that only half of it was the perfect medium rare that I asked for. The other half was more like a medium well. How do you even cook a steak like that? I could understand if the outer edges were more cooked, as that is quite typical, but literally, half of it was perfect and the other half was WAY over cooked. The low rating, is due to the following: 1. Our wait time was 5-15 minutes, about 30 minutes later we were placed in a huge booth that could have easily fit at least 6 people. Remember it was only myself and my husband. 2. We didn't even have water for at least 10 minutes after we were seated and it took an additional 15 minutes to just place our order. We received our appetizer about 15 minutes after placing our order then the food started coming at a decent rate. 3. It was so loud in there that my husband and I had to put our faces less then a foot apart just to be able to hear each other. 4. The "wait staff" was more concerned with line dancing then actually serving their customers. The place also seamed incredibly over staffed especially when you factor in the super slow service. Maybe they hire "dancers" and "waiters" separately??? 5. The food was either incredibly bland or extremely salty...no in between seasoning. Overall, I am super glad that we had a $50 gift certificate so the entire meal, tip and all, only cost us $12. Of course, I only drank water and my husband had a soda, but $56 for the amount of food we got at a chain restaurant was not a completely unreasonable cost, had the food been better. I can say that the only way we will eat here again is if we are given more gift certificates and you can guarantee we would be calling ahead and getting our food to go!

I will have to say, at first I was a bit skeptical since I had never eaten there before, and from the outside it looks like it could not be that great. The wait was a bit long, but that is because the place was packed. The waitress was very fast and polite, had our drinks to us in record time, and the food was delievered promptly as well. They give you these fresh rolls that are baked fresh every 5 minutes! And the 11oz. Sirloin that I ordered was so amazing. Cooked just right, and the sides I got (mashed potatoes and Green Beans) were great as well. They give you a bucket of peanuts at your table to munch on as well. All in all, I was very happy with the service and the food was amazing. 4 stars.

Good food and friendly service, I really enjoyed this place. The only down side is the country music (not a fan) and the constant dancing the staff partakes in. Other than that, pretty good.

Basic steakhouse. They have quality cuts and you throw peanut shells on the floor. What else do you want from a chain steakhouse?

Not the place for good BBQ, especially if you were looking for even close to Texas style BBQ. Think of this place as a much more expensive Applebee's. I'm the type of person that when you say BBQ, I come running. Well maybe more similar to a fast paced saunter. I was extremely excited about trying this place after my mother said I had to try the rolls. I left sadly disappointed in the food, but definitely an extra helping of the rolls! I had to try the ribs since they are apparently award winning fall-off-the-bone ribs. Well, they were definitely fall-off-the-bone, but not award winning. My plate, when they delivered it, looked like burnt pulled pork with some bones just tossed in it, but more than twice the price. They weren't even barbecued! I wish I would have taken a picture. They are boiled then thrown on the grill until black and slathered in a mediocre sauce to cover the taste. I despised doing it, but I had to send them back. It may have been 100 degrees outside, but it must have been a cold day in Hell, because I NEVER send my food back. It's a little sad that when you're finished with your ribs, you don't even need the moist towelettes to freshen up because you were too busy having to eat them with a fork. The mac and cheese is Kraft. They tell you that, but what they fail to mention is that you pay three times the price for worse Kraft than your 5 year old knows how to make at home. It was actually very discouraging that my daughter's sirloin bites kids meal was incredibly more satisfying than my full rack of ribs. The chicken, that my wife ordered was just your generic run-of-the-mill frozen and flattened breast prepared the same way as the ribs. It was left on the grill entirely too long and became dry, then slathered in their "incredible sauce!" The only thing that would have made it taste better would have been to not even eat it. I don't want to completely bash the incompetency of this place since they do have a few good things going for them. The atmosphere was very fun, especially for a younger generation. The Cactus Onion for our appetizer was delicious and huge, and it was the small one. When I did send the ribs back, the manager was very apologetic and comped my meal and gave me a voucher for a free meal for the next visit. If you decide to go, I would have to recommend that you stick with the steak. It could possibly be the only decent meal on their menu. I would still have to recommend that if you want better BBQ for the same price, here in the Tri-Cities, try Famous Dave's. If you want cheaper and the same quality, check out Applebee's. Or come on over to my place and I'll do you up a mess of ribs, for a much better value.

The food was wonderful! My steak had a great flavor and the rolls with cinnamon butter were really, really good. I downgraded my review by one star because of the noise level. It was so incredibly loud in there I had trouble hearing the person sitting right in front of me. There are peanut shells on the floor everywhere, but I thought it gave the place a quirky charm(as long as I'm not the one cleaning them up at the end of the day, right?). I would defiantly go back there.

I held off on writing this review until we gave this place another chance. Well, tonight was the second time we dined here, and we will not be going back and wait times have nothing to do with it! The food we had was edible, but it was by no means good or worth the price. The first time we had steaks. The steaks were awful. They were not seasoned well at all and they were soggy! I have never had a steak like that in my life. Not juicy, soggy like they were cooked and left to sit in water. I have no other way to explain it. Tonight we ate there and decided to try something different. I had the catfish and my husband had the pork chops. There was nothing great about either dish. The catfish was mostly breading and very, very bland. The pork chops were pork chop flavored Ex-Lax. They gave my husband terrible food poisoning which we reported to iwaspoisoned dot com. We will not be going back.

Hadn't been here before and we were not sure what to expect. Surprised and delighted . We were seated immediately and the service just got better from there. The food was absolutely amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the help is required to stop working and line dance every 30 minutes. The first time was cute. The second was annoying and the third time, I felt sorry for the staff. One more "dance" and it would have ruined our experience. Keep up the great food and service. Drop the line dance.

great restaurant that is surprisingly decently priced and you get large portions of food for your money, they have the best country fried chicken that I've ever had and the atmosphere was upbeat and lively, can't wait to come back here again, IMO this restaurant deserves a lot more than an average rating of 3 out of 5 stars, surprisingly there was no wait when we arrived at the restaurant yet we ate there at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a familiar restaurant to visit. I frequently visited a Texas Roadhouse near my home in the northeast, and decided to give this one a try. I ordered my drink and meal, and waited, and waited, and waited, and finally it came out. the server apologized for the wait and I finished up my meal and checked out. They took off a few dollars off the bill for the unusually long wait. I wasn't in a hurry and didn't have to say anything to the manager to have them do this, hence the 4 stars. Would have been three without the discount, or 5 without the wait. The food was good, the atmosphere was what I expected.

It's LOUD. If you are looking for intimate. This is NOT your place. The food was great. The service was great and I even liked the music and dancing. Use the call ahead service to avoid waiting and it makes the night even better!!!

Totally un-aged meat..could be Chinese grown and only ages on the boat..the Outback is close to the same. Seriously..the TC just doesn't have a real Steakhouse which serves naturally AGED beef such as Mortons or Ruth Chris..we still have to go to Spokane, Portland and Stealle to get a great Steak dinner.

If you're looking for fast service, don't come here. But as patience is a virtue, this is why. The food tastes great and service has been consistently good. I've had chicken, steak, Tri-Tip, ribs, and all of it was very good. The baked potato is a little lacking in flavor and toppings, but there are other options. I'm also not a big fan of the dancing, but it really does contribute to a fun atmosphere.

My friend called in, he was told that they don't actually take reservations. But we would have a reduced wait since he called in. So we showed up at the time he said we would be there. Sure enough, the place was packed and we had a full on wait. It was pretty loud inside, not the sort of place to go to if you want nice dinner conversation. The peanut shells on the floor made the place seem dirty. The floor under my shoes did feel gross. Sticky in places and slick in others. The food wasn't bad, but it was too salty. We weren't sure what the deal was with that. A baked potato crusted in salt is new to me. My friend complained about his catfish being bland and too salty. If that is how it will always be, loud and overly salty food. I wont bother going back. Also, would it kill them to clean the place? It cant be that hard to grab a broom and sweep every now and then. If that is how they do things in Texas. Then the only thing that is truly bigger there are the rodents.

Waited a long time for the "new restaurant" crowds to die down here and finally braved it. Now scratching out heads as to why the crowds. Husband ordered ribeye and I ordered chicken fried steak because I never have that at home and the menu said it and the country gravy were homemade. Salad came and it was great; lots of veggie, homemade croutons, and very fresh. Main course came and it looks a little "pale", but didn't think anything of it since 90% of the plate was covered in white gravy. Took one bite and discovered it was chicken, not steak. Husbands medium rare steak was bloody/purple so we sent both our dishes back for corrections. No hassle from the wait staff. Husband got his new steak and I finally got chicken fried STEAK, this time with the gravy on the side. The breading was so thick & salty, and the meat so tough, I took two bites, finished my green beans (which were good, btw) and I was done. Husband said his steak was good but no better than what we could make at home on the bbq. With the crowds and noise and rushed atmosphere here, you almost feel like you are at a Chucky Cheese on a Saturday afternoon. Not great food and not fun. We won't be back.

I've been three times. Cheap steak is just so-so, but the next more costly on the menu is fantastic. Fried Pickles! Yum! The staff are great. It is a little noisy, so if you are wanting to talk to table mates, it can be a little tough. But, I will be back!

This place was amazing. A perfect place to take my family from out of town. Everything was fresh and delicious. The bread and cinnamon butter was incredible. Have already been a couple times, and there will be many more to come.

Please Note: My personal rating from my first experience would be 3 Stars. However, I also had an experience for my work Christmas party, that would get 0 Stars, so I'm giving it an overall 2 Star rating. The first time I went to Texas Roadhouse it was DELICIOUS! The service was good, and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. The prices on the menu are far better than Outback's and the quality of the food is the same if not better (their cinnamon butter they serve with the bread is much better than the bread and butter at Outback). My husband and I really enjoyed it, and plan to go back. However, I feel that I must share what just happened to my company for anyone who plans on going with more than 2-4 people: We had been in contact with Texas Roadhouse for our office Christmas party. They had told us they could seat a party of eight if they pushed two tables together (they even showed where the tables were to make sure it was okay). On the day of the party we went into confirm this, and they said we were good to go, we just needed to call two hours ahead so they'd be ready for us. Well, sometime between the time we dropped in to confirm and when we called in they suddenly changed their minds and said they couldn't seat a party of eight. The manager said they couldn't do it because they, "Don't EVER push tables together!" I must say, when you think about this, it's kind funny. The reaction was sort of like, "You NEVER hug the Queen! My word! How awful! And WE NEVER PUSH TABLES TOGETHER! However, feel free to throw you peanut shells on the floor!" After pleading we decided that wasn't the place for us, and the manager ended the conversation with the condescending comment, "Well, I hope you have fun wherever you end up." Personally, I can't believe that they turned away a party of eight in this economy when businesses are hurting. But it's probably for the better, as we're now giving our money to a local business.

Arrived around 7:20 and had about a 15 minute wait. Not bad, especially since a lot of people were out for valentine's day. We were seated promptly by the hostess and had peanuts in a bucket on the table. The hot rolls were really good as well. Ordered some beers and waters. Waters came but no beers then our waitress disappeared for a while. Time to order, wanted the prime rib medium rare, but they were out since it was later in the day. Lost some points there. Had to get the medium which wasn't a big deal. Beers still hadn't come but we had gotten replacement on the rolls. Finally caught the waitress, asked about the beers, she got them but didn't apologize. Food came, it was really good. Got the prime rib with mashed potatoes and chili with red onions and cheese. My girlfriend got the pulled pork sandwich which looked really good with a massive onion ring on it. Waitress gave us the check and didn't tell us good night. Seemed a little pre-occupied with not being that spectacular. Atmosphere is cheesy. Staff: B Food: A- Atmosphere: B- Service: C Overall: B- I would go there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. I would go to Famous Dave's for the convenience of time. Since my dad has his new grill, I would prefer my prime rib done at home if I was feeling motivated. Service could have been better, but I have come to expect nothing different from 18-22 year olds barely making above minimum wage.

First off. I hate to mark this as three stars. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful! I have been to Texas Roadhouses throughout Texas, California, Idaho and now Washington. This was the first time I ever ever been disappointed. We ended up going on a Saturday night...and it was packed. The 20 minute wait we were told when we got there turned into 40 by the time we were seated. Both our steaks had to be sent back.. one was ordered medium and came out as beef jerky. The other was ordered medium rare and came out just about raw. According to some of the staff we spoke to "we've got a monday night cook in back working a Saturday night and is not ready for this. It's been going on all night". By the time we got our steaks back the rest our food was either cold or gone. This is still my favorite chain but the Kennewick location is by far not the greatest... tonight was no better than going to Applebee's.

Still a two star review. We came in on Saturday as they opened, not very busy yet but appeared to be well staffed. This time I tried the sirloin, Mr. S had the bacon cheeseburger. Great job on the steak, very tasty. As I suspected it would be as it is their speciality. I had the sweet potato with the honey cinnamon butter and applesauce. Both were also good but it's hard to wreck applesauce. They why still only two stars? As Mr S put it -- the little details can add up. Lack of attention to details can take you from a good experience to the feeling that you are working too hard at having lunch. Everything from forgetting to bring Mr S his requested mayo cup for fry sauce to then discovering they forgot to bring his zesty sauce he asked for on the side instead of on his burger, to me having an empty diet Coke sitting front and center WHEN they brought my meal and walking off without asking if I wanted more before I could say HEY. The empty glass sat there as several servers walked by, looked directly at it and kept going. Finally my server came back halfway through the meal and filled it. Last straw is when Mr. S realized that his bacon cheeseburger actually had no bacon. I suspect the servers apologize A LOT for the sins of the kitchen. We won't go back.

They were pretty good 3 of 4 times...for a chain steak experience....last time they turned my bone in rib eye into a charred mess....I sent it back once for being rare and it came back as overly charred and rare....they had their special crew that night apparently.

NOTE: 1. Do not go here if you're allergic to peanuts, there's a bucket at every table. 2. If you are here to celebrate your 21st birthday then sadly they have this dumb/weird policy where you can't get booze till the day after. OTHERWISE: The food was yummy. Moist bbq chicken and well spiced pulled pork. It was a bit loud, like a crowded Sherry's or some place like that. Every so often when a song which sang Texas Roadhouse, they'd start square dancing. OH! And if it's your birthday and they find out they toss you up on a saddle and sing to you.

We've been disappointed that no one has written a detailed review on this place since it opened. Figured there would be some rough areas, but I have to say this was one of the worst dining experiences we've had lately. Came today for a late lunch (2pm) and there was still a thirty minute wait. Had we known it was possible, we would have called ahead for seating-- 509-783-1288 (I would recommend doing so). They have extra seating for people waiting outside, with ceiling heaters, which is nice. Unfortunately, they allow you to munch on peanuts while waiting (and at your table), but it seems they encourage throwing the empty shells on the floor. There are shells everywhere--it makes the place feel filthy. First impression of the place was that it was dirty. When we were seated, the seat at the table was WET. Not damp, but WET from being wiped down with a dripping towel. At least they wipe them down, but it was gross. The floor under the table was VERY slippery and greasy feeling. Maybe they should have wiped down the floor instead. It is also notable that this place is VERY loud-- think Red Robin loud. They serve you "homemade bread" w/cinnamon and sugar butter as you wait. It was okay. When the bread was gone, the waitress asked if we wanted more (which we of course never turn down seconds on free food) and then disappeared and never brought us any. When she returned it was as if her memory was erased...oh well. Ordered soda...mine came out Coke and not Diet Coke. Someone else brought us the right sodas because our waitress disappeared again. When it was time for another refill, she said she'd get me another Diet Coke but then...yes, it was Coke again. Menu was surprisingly limited-- what kind of BBQ place doesn't have brisket? I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich, husband ordered the Pulled Pork and Rib Combo, w/salad and fries. I have to say the chicken was good, but there was nothing special about it...just chicken with Sweet Baby Rays. The bun was ridiculously soggy, so I just ate the chicken. My pickle spear had obviously been dropped on the floor (there was pocket lint on it) which was just nasty. I was optimistic about the fries because they looked like they had nice herb seasonings, but was disappointed to find they were inedible due to oversalting. Husband's pulled pork was good. Ribs literally fell off the bone when picked up. Salad was standard...ranch did not taste homemade as they claimed. His fries were also oversalted. Leftovers left a TERRIBLE smell in the car after a quick errand on the way home. Overall, I would say Texas Roadhouse is OVERRATED. Maybe they'll figure it out with time, but for now, I'd recommend going to Famous Dave's if you're craving BBQ-- at least you'll get the right soda and your food won't have pocket lint on it. And rest assured you won't have to wait, as all the sheeple are at Texas Roadhouse.

Went there for my wife's birthday, waited 45 minutes to get in with the call ahead waiting on a Saturday. You get fresh bread with cinnamon butter which is pretty good. I ordered a rib eye steak and ribs, and the steak was very thin. The taste was ok, but I've bbq'd better. The ribs were so-so, but nothing to brag about. My wife had pulled pork, that was very bland. The wait staff line dances every 1/2 hour or so, good atmosphere, but a little loud.

Tonight was my third time at Texas Roadhouse. My previous two experiences were average in terms of food and service and I was hoping tonight would really change my mind. But, sadly, it was a third strike and I really do not think I will be coming back. We arrived around 730PM and waited no longer than 15 minutes to be seated, which was nice because it was actually quite busy. The hostess sat us, gave us the bread and told us the waitress would be with us in a few moments. The restaurant was definitely crowded and quite loud; busy Saturday night. It made for a decent atmosphere. But, the time ticked on and it took our waitress nearly THIRTEEN minutes to come by our table to even greet us and ask for our drinks. Granted, it was busy, but that seemed a little long. By that point, we were slightly irritated and ordered our food along with our drinks. Our drinks after being ordered took another 5 minutes. All we ordered was water.... Kind of ridiculous. They came barely before our salad did. The house salad was decent, though. To pass the remaining time before our food came, we observed the staff. One guy in particular stood and watched TV for a few minutes. Not sure if he was on his break or if he was just bored with his job. No matter the case, it was a little tacky and odd. And a lot of the staff seemed to be only to be interested in getting people in and out, rather than the customer service experience of a meal. The staff seemed to conjugate around the till and have idle chit chat. (We were seated right next to the till and bar.) Our main courses followed the salads promptly. I ordered the salmon with a sweet potato side. My boyfriend ordered the steak medallions medium with mushrooms and a baked potato. The evening seemed to be turning around. But, a few minutes into our meal, and the discovery of well-done steak was made. We waited another TWELVE minutes for our waitress to come by and check on us so we could fix the well-done issue. She walked by our table a few times and even stood near our table and made eye contact with us, but never made the effort to check on our food. Finally we got her attention as she walked by and addressed the issue. She didn't really seem empathetic or really apologize for the issue. I know it was not her fault, but it would have been nice to be reassured that the issue would be taken care of. She came by a minute later and informed us that a new medallion was being cooked. Later, a manager (I assume) brought out a single medallion to replace the well-done one we had earlier. It tasted a lot better, but that was another six minutes added to just waiting around after we had finished eating. Overall, the food was okay. I really thought my salmon was cooked quite nicely, but we were both disappointed with the unevenly cooked medallions. Service... well, it was not that great and the staff was very inattentive. That is what made our experience terrible. You could have the most amazing food in the world and I don't think I would want to return if the service was poor. This sums up how I feel about Texas Roadhouse. I would give a higher rating, but this has been the second of the three times coming here that service has been really spotty (last time, we ordered side salads and never even got them!) Three strikes and you're out.

Tonight was my first time at TRH and it was great! We were sat quickly and had our drinks ordered within minutes of being seated. Appetizers and entrees were served hot and quick as well! Our waitress Brenda was very attentive and polite! Even the manager came by and welcomed us. We were in and out in less than hour! Perfect for a Friday night at dinner time! Thanks team!

Texas Roadhouse is exactly what you expect it to be. It's a loud, gimmicky, chain steakhouse. However, it's a loud, gimmicky, chain steakhouse with good food. I was initially skeptical due to the reviews on Yelp, but hey, they were open for lunch on Saturday and we were seated immediately. The service was friendly and very attentive. I decided on a 6 oz. sirloin with a sweet potato and a salad as a side. The salad came first, but I didn't care for it much due to the fact that it was COVERED in eggs and I don't like eggs. Next came the steak and sweet potato. I admit, I was expecting a cheapo sirloin in the vein of Outback with little to no flavor. Thankfully, I was wrong! The steak was exceedingly superior to Outback's. For one, it was tender and juicy. They overcooked it a bit, but it was still very good. Second, it tasted like a real steak! It had an excellent, beefy flavor that made it taste like a far more expensive cut of meat. It wasn't over-seasoned either. In fact, it reminds me very much of a steak that I had at a restaurant that I used to work at that was ten times more expensive. The sweet potato was also good. Being from the south, I love 'em, so I was very happy to see this on the menu. There was a bucket o' peanuts and some good rolls provided as well. So yeah, I'm gushing. It's because I have never, EVER had a steak this good at a restaurant in my entire 10 years here in the Tri-Cities. You can take that as either a very good thing, or a very bad thing, but I'm just happy to have a decent steak. I can't speak for other nights of the week, but this Saturday lunch went over very well.

****UPDATE 02/21/13***Good grief, it's becoming a love/hate relationship with this place. Went there for dinner on a Thursday night and we were having a great time. Then my six year old decided right in the middle of dinner that she needed to use the restroom...that's fine, used to it. So, go use the restroom and upon exiting I noticed a couple sitting IN A BOOTH, WITH A DOG AT THE TABLE. Not a service dog, but a fluffy, hairy, shitzu type dog. Sitting ON the bench, AT the table. NOT COOL. If I had been sitting near that table I would have been seriously hacked, enough to call the health department.

I was craving ribs, so I decided to give it a shot. Here's why this place gets 5 stars: 1. I was seated immediately. 2. Drinks arrived very quickly, and the peanuts were fun to munch on. 3. The Ribs were just perfect for me. Mind you I'm from NorCal, so my "expertise" in ribs and BBQ may not be the same as others, but this place did the trick. This place blows away Famous Dave's service (same town).

Valentines night. Crazy busy. Called the call ahead seating number 38 times to get in wait at that point (4:30 in the afternoon ) 2+ hours! Wow We showed up an hour before our suggested time and grabbed a seat at the bar. Drinks came fast were excellent and stronger than expected! BONUS! They were not as expensive as I thought they would be. Hot rolls an the cinnamon butter was awesome! It was like desert before dinner. Our stupid little buzzer thing went off at almost exactly what time they said it would. Our waitress served our table in a timely manor, nothing really good or bad to say about the wait staff service! My wife had the rib eye steak with a loaded sweet potato and green beans. Everything she ordered was good the beans were her favorite I liked her sweet potato. The star of the evening was the prim rib I ordered medium. If you order it ask to have it seasoned and seared!!!!! It's not on the menu but man it is good!! My wife took half my prim rib, thankfully it was a good size one. My loaded mashed potatoes were cold and even if they were hot I wasn't thrilled about the presentation or the flavor. I would most likely give 5 stars if not fir the wait to get a table and how loud it is. That said it is a busy place and a popular one, stop complaining about having to wait for a table it's going to happen. It is loud and yes they through peanut shells on the floor. It is what it is. Don't go here expecting anything different. I didn't and had a good time. The wife and I would go back again. O ya Four big mixed drinks. An appetizer. Two steak dinners with Sides of Green beans Loaded sweet potato Loaded mashed potato House salad Dinner rolls and cinnamon butter. About $70 with tip. Better than I expected.

Always crowded. Bar is typically crowded. The ribeye is excellent; I am not crazy about steak but this place gets it right. The noise level isxa tad high. Every so often. A specific song comes on and all the staff stops to dance. A little corny but fun.

What a fun spot to check out. The drinks are gianormous for the price ($6.50) and are good. Try their sangria :) We tried their fried pickles (thin slices and crispy), smothered chicken (opted out of the gravy), portobello mushroom chicken and the pulled pork. Everyone ordered mashed potatoes and side salads as the two sides and not one person had a complaint. Well except for being so full. The portions are out of control hence the Texas theme :) The bread they serve you is amazing. We all opted out of the cinnamon butter they give you. Oh and the servers do a dance every 30 minutes. That was the only annoying thing- it got old kinda quick. However if you know about it going in it's not so bad :) The place was fun and entertaining and the food was on point.

This place was great! The food was flavorful and reasonably priced for the amount. I got the country fried chicken, it was juicy and the brown gravy was great. My bf got ribs which were fall off the bone tender and came with great bbq sauce. The bread was also very good. The atmosphere was cute and entertaining for my bf and I, but a little loud. This probably isn't the place to go for a quiet romantic dinner.

Cheesy theme restaurant + nothing special food = Texas Roadhouse. Gave this place a few tries and always end up disappointed. Everything is soaked in butter and grease with almost no fresh options. I know this is supposed to be "smokehouse-like", but it falls flat in so many areas. Tri-Cities is chain restaurant USA, so this place fits right in.

I've had some positive experience with other steakhouse chains in the south and as a lover of prime rib, we decided to go one weekend upon moving here. We were surprised at how packed it was on a Friday night but took that as a good sign since it seemed all of Kennewick was having dinner here. The service was great and everyone really friendly but what a waste of money! Their salad and rolls are decent but the prime rib was disgusting. It didn't even taste like prime rib, just prime rib basted in some other meat gravy. My boyfriend got a burger and he while the size was impressive, the taste was not. This is why we rarely EVER go to chain restaurants. Thanks for confirming that TR. Also, why does anyone think the staff having to drop whatever they're doing on a busy weekend night to line dance for a few minutes every hour for the guests is a good idea?!?!

I have eaten at our local Texas Roadhouse several times, and absolutely love the food, and the service is great. The peanuts are a truly nice touch, too ;-) I almost always have the early bird special of the 6oz sirloin, with chili, and some other side. I've never been disappointed. The only drawback is the noise. I understand that loud means it's a happening place, but can't help but wonder if the volume isn't too much for the ears of children? I know it is for the ears of seniors. I therefore have a suggestion, two, actually. If the noise is bothersome, go as early as possible after they open, and two, could the management consider keeping the music low until, say, 6.30 or so, giving families time to come in, eat, and get their elders and or youngsters out before the happening starts? I wear hearing aids, and have two decibels left before I lose all of my mid range--where the human voice is. I wear them due to damage caused by loudness. I go early for dinner, and turn my aids off. By the time I leave, the noise is painful.

I order prime rib out as often as I can, and I can honestly say this was some of the most tender juicy prime rib I've ever had. It wasn't heavily seasoned but that's what the au jus and horseradish are for (ask for creamy AND grated). The buns were incredibly fresh and tender; the whipped apple butter they came with was a nice touch. I received free sauteed onions and mushrooms for sitting at the bar. For my sides I got the mashed potatoes (had some of the skin which I like) with brown gravy and side salad. They were both just ok. The decor was fitting and enjoyable; they have the "peanuts on the floor" thing going on with you guessed it, a country theme. The staff was friendly, helpful, and did line dancing. TLDR: 5/5 Went there for prime rib, received awesome prime rib.

  • Christina A.

Well, I went against my last review and we went back but only because husband's sister wanted to! I gave the prime rib a second go and remembered what I didn't like about it in the first place - the rub they put on it has a faintly sweet flavor to it. I was spoiled with a wonderful cook for a Mom, her prime rib is still the best I've ever had.. and prime rib is salty.. garlicy.. Not sweet! At least in my head, anyways. I will definitely remember not to order it if family wants to go again. Husband had the pulled pork platter. As with what he had the previous time, edible but just okay. Sister in law had a really good looking what looked like beef kebab meat with veggies and rice. I think that's what I'll have if she wants to meet up there again!

Every time I go to tri-cities this is the place I go sometimes I make the hour drive just because I want to eat here. there rolls are the BEST with the whipped cinnamon butter to die for! I always get the ribs and sometimes the burgers my boyfriend always gets a steak and loaded mash potatoes and we have never had a complaint yet! Love the food and the service the beer is good. Nice and very friendly people good service. usually not to bad of a wait. but always packed every time I have been there. I Strongly recommend you to go in there if you have not been you will not be disappointed!

Pretty good food. Pork chops and Bone In Ribeye are the best entrees....sides are VERY GOOD. green beans are my favorite. Service is best in TriCities. Just can't stand the country music.

Sexist restaurant with gross food. If you have ever eaten here on a Saturday; the female workers come out and dance every hour to country music. The male workers stand around watching these girls. While the display upsets me, the food disgusts me. We got fried pickles to share - they taste like nothing but the old funky oil they are fried in. On the plus side I guess you can get a decent beer here. Everything else is disgusting.

I had fun when I went here I had tenderloins med rare with veggies. The cut was very tender and had a great grilled flavor to it and it was cooked as ordered. This place was actually tastier then the Texas Steak House in Dallas TX. This one I'm Richland was Wayyy too loud and Bar like for me to return. It was full and had to wait an 1/2 hour to go in. Great steak but doesn't out weigh the atmosphere or wait. If you want to partieee and yell and eat cool Go for it. It will be fun.

My favorite restaurant for steaks & burgers! Their drinks with the kickers are the best as well! & the bread with the cinnamon butter is to die for!

Texas Roadhouse is always awesome! They have great service and the steak is amazing as well! This location seemed to be doing well as it was already busy at 4:30! I wish they carried "to go" cups for me to leave with a coke but they don't!!

The wait was NUTS tonight for Valentines day, I do wish they had better prepared, but I still can't hold it against them. Texas Roadhouse is the best, period. From the soda size to the entree serving size to the size of the margaritas -- you're in for a deeelicious, TEXAS sized dining experience. 5 stars for the most amazing rolls you've ever tasted (with the most ingenious cinnabutter), a healthy heaping of pulled pork, huge cuts of steak, insane loaded baked OR mashed potatoes, bacon laden green beens, and a test tube shot of tequila sticking out of your blended marg! I'll drive across the state for this food. #shameless

I do not usually go out for a steak dinner....but go here. Omg, it was so good! I could not believe how good the steak was. I had mine rare and it was melt in your mouth fantastic. I think the owner came by twice to make sure we were doing good and the waitress was also very friendly and right on top of everything. Try it. Its great.

Pleasantly surprised. We were treated fabulously by the staff, who were very attentive to our needs. The steak was pretty good, though the prime rib had a bit of a liquid smoke in a bottle flavor to it. Husband didn't like the chili. I agreed, it was rather blah. The rolls were good, like the kind I like making here at home. And a baked sweet potato for a side? So nice to have quality options. We were also pleasantly surprised by the prices. We've spent much more for lower quality food at Outback.

I had low expectations as I've become a bit spoiled living in Portland. The service was good in an unremarkable way. I ordered a steak rare, and it was cooked perfectly. They get four stars for that alone. I've never ordered a rare steak in the tri cities that didn't arrive medium rare or worse. I'm not a fan of line dancing, so that whole aspect was lost on me. I have to take a star off for the ridiculous noise level, but I imagine it would be a plus for people with children(no one will notice a whining baby over the bad country music).

Love the food. I really wish it weren't so friggin' loud inside the restaurant !! I bet if they asked the customers if they want the employees line-dancing instead of serving food, NOBODY would want the dancing. Several times my friends wanted to go there but we agreed not to because it's just way too loud to enjoy the meal.

First off, when I walked in I was totally grossed out by the Peanuts everywhere. If you have a peanut allergy you should probably stay a good 50 feet away from their building. The peanut shells on the floor were piled high & I was wearing sandals so I was seriously grossed out. Then there were these big barrels of peanuts that everyone was sticking their hands in and the servers were scooping buckets from to take to our table. Gross! I don't know where those people's hands have been! If you are even a little OCD, this place will kill you. I understand that this is a steak house, and therefore probably doesn't have a lot of veggie options, but my hubby loves the beef so I told him I would go. Almost all of their side dishes have meat in them! From the rice to the green beans, I was totally SOL. I ended up having steamed broccoli, a side salad, and the sweet potato (which technically could've counted as dessert, and was very good). Their drinks were well priced & yummy, and our server was good. I would say great, but the servers spent a lot of time standing around the registers talking which left the tables a little unattended to. The bread was yummy I thought, but my husband hated it. There is cinnamon in the bread & the butter- not really his thing. He said his steak was OK but not enough to bring him back. I don't think we'll be going back again, we'll spend our dinner night at some local steakhouses that seem to have more flavor and less fluff.

ok people get yur hunger on cuz this place will full fill every mouth watering taste bud that you have ... true ! it more than exceeded my expectations and then some. our 1st visit was to crowded so we opted not to wait for an hr for seating, so we went for a less caliber style of a resteraunt, like ! uh ! Red Robin, hahahaha . none the less we eventually did what everone else was doing and that was call ahead seating....that helped alot....but if you want to for go the crowded hr just go b4 5pm you'll get right in...i dont want to give all the amininities away so just go and find out what all the hooplah is about, i guaranty you wont be disapointed,

Great food as always sat at the bar the bar staff is horrible. Ordered an appetizer and caesar salad with the chicken entree it all came out at once and my water and wine glass remained Empty as I watched all 3 clean at 7:30pm! Horrible service!

Went here on a weekday right at open to avoid the "new restaurant" crowds. Place has a Famous Dave's kind of ambiance only not as dim. At your table you get a little bucket of peanuts in the shell, and a bucket to put the shells in. My wife really dug the peanut thing. You also get served fresh rolls with an apple-cinnamon butter, which is VERY good. They will also send you home with some more rolls and butter if you ask. As it was lunch we decided to split a Rib-eye with steak fries and BBQ beans and ordered an appetizer of fried pickles. The fried pickles were SERIOUSLY good, and you get a nice sized portion of them. The Rib-Eye was very good, and the steak fries and BBQ beans were too. We actually took some food home there was so much. The staff was super friendly and the line dance was fun. We'll be back when the crowds die down.

If the carnivore inside you is kickin' for meat, I definitely suggest going to Texas Roadhouse. They serve FRESH cuts of meat (To prove it they all their meat lined at the front door in a deli style display), cook it any way you like your meat, have excellent seasonings, and top everything off the price is very reasonable. It's been three months since the opening of Roadhouse and the place is still packed just to prove how great of a steakhouse they really are.

The food was great. I don't have any complaints about that. The only thing is that the particular waitress we had kept forgetting drinks, bread, etc. I'll go back again because I don't want to a judge a whole restaurant on one waitress.

I am biased. I judge all tri-city steakhouses on the T.S. Cattle Co scale. I will not go into detail about anything but the food. Our steak fries were too salty and had an "off" flavored (ranch, maybe) seasoning. Our salads were semi-fresh. The bread plates at our table were greasy and dirty. The bread (combined with sweet butter) was mediocre. Our steaks were 12 oz ribeye steaks ordered medium. They were cooked to order, but were tough and tasted artificial. I was reminded of beef flavored top ramen while eating my steak.... almost like they threw some beef base on it while griddling our steak, then grill searing it at the last minute. Not even close to a high quality steak. At home, I've cooked ribeye steaks from Templemen's, Knutzen's, Fred Meyer's, Safeway, Yokes, and Walmart...... The quality of this steak was barely on par with the Wal-Mart steak. I'm sure I will end up there in the future as some family member will surely want to have a birthday meal there, but I will always pick Sterlings or Famous Dave's over this place. God I wish we would get a good quality steakhouse again.

We (party of five) used the telephone number making semi-reservations ahead of time. When we arrived 8:00 PM on a Thursday night the place was packed and our table was ready (5 stars) ... decor 4 stars .... noise level = LOUD (4 stars if you are in a party mood) / (2 stars if you're not) ..... service 4.5 stars / wait staff very attentive .... appetizers were interesting and fun (4 stars): we had something like Outback's Blooming Onion which was very good / also had the fried dill pickles = fun flavors ..... wine list 2 stars / limited CA plunk .. wine prices 5 stars / not a rip off ..... 5 stars for option of steak sizes (8 oz, 10oz, 12 oz, 16 oz, 20 oz) ...... quality of the steak and how it was prepared 4 stars .... you have a choice of two sides = 2 stars re: sautéed mushrooms, sautéed green beans & mixed vegetables ..... 4 stars for sweet potato & mashed potato ...... can do without the peanuts prior to dinner = will spoil your appetite ... also the bread is delicious but be careful you can easily load up on the bread and not be hungry for dinner. We will be back.

Our extended family of 8 arrived for dinner at 4 on a Sunday. The wait wasn't too bad about 20 minutes and the kids had fun munching on the peanuts in the waiting area. When they seated us we were split up into 2 booths instead of being seated together, we had 2 different waiters, it was a mess. What kind of restaurant can't seat a party of 8??? The food was good, my ribs were falling off the bone and the ribeye was good. It was loud! We had to yell our order to the waiter even though he was standing at the edge of our table, not even a big table cause it couldn't seat 8. All in all we won't be going back to eat there, I can find a decent steak and ribs at other restaraunts.

Awesome experience. The food was delicious. The staff attentive and nice. Best part is when they line danced to boot scoot and boogie.

After three of four visits with poor experiences it was time to write a review. The steaks weren't cooked properly, the servers were rude and incorrect ordering. Stay away!

This place was amazing! I was concerned because it was packed and SO crowded! However, our servers were polite, prompt, and food came in like 10 minutes! Food was amazing! I loved the environment and when the girls danced the Coyote Ugly dance! So much FUN!

Try it. Its great.

Great ribs. Sweet pates to die for. Really enjoyed the western atmosphere. Great place to Bing out of towners.
