Fun atmosphere and decent beer! They have a live band playing every time I bike by on the Burke so I decided to stop in after my ride. I love the outdoor seating and it has the feel of a small town brewery. They only had four beers that they brew themselves but of the three that I tried, they were all average or above. They also serve beer from various other breweries in the area to round out their selection. Food was pretty good as well but slightly overpriced in my opinion ($10 for a brat - but the chipotle baked beans it came with were awesome!) Staff are also very friendly and come by when you need them but not too often as to be a bother. I recommend this brewery for a casual bike ride location or as a fun stop after a day of riding!

I came here with a group of coworkers after work in August. We sat outdoors (large seating area) at patio tables. The space filled up quickly as the parking lots were filled up but there was plenty of street parking available behind the establishment. We ordered our beer and food inside. They had a variety available. We noticed many bikers along the Burke Gilman trail stopping by for a BEvERage, families and dogs. I ordered the Interurban IPA and Cajun poboy sandwich. The sandwich was a good size and came with beans and chips. I really liked the beans (I usually don't) as they were soft and semi-sweet.

This place is all about the outdoor patio and the fact that it is right on the Burke-Gilman trail. Operationally, they need some tweaking. On a beautiful day the line is out the door. Not a big surprise for a popular place with an amazing outdoor patio. The problem is the line continues to move slow. Why? Because they can only help one person at a time with only one register. And they often only have one person taking money, pouring and serving beer and delivering food to people out in the garden. Sometimes the cook comes out of the kitchen to help deliver food. See the problem? Need more people. Speaking of people, the help is very inconsistent. Sometimes you get someone who is very nice and friendly, but usually the person helping you has some kind of underlying disgruntledness they are very poorly hiding. Probably because they are overworked and need more help. As far as the beer, I personally would like to see some staples hang out for a little bit longer. I appreciate the rotating tap, but I feel like I never know what I'm going to get. Maybe pick on or two that can be consistent staples. And their own beer that they brew needs some work. Perhaps they should have perfected the beer before they got into business. The food, however is pretty dang good!!! I have only had nachos, chili, hot wings and chips and salsa, but it was all amazing! And all the other food I've seen come out looked and smelled amazing from pizza to sandwiches to entrees. The location next to the Burke-Gilman and the outdoor patio/garden is amazing and unsurpassed. I hang out here year round and love it! It seems like they just need a little more help.

The review would be much higher if we'd only gotten beer. Also, 5 stars for Brandy the (only) waitress in the beer garden. Will return for beer & the great outdoor area but would never eat here again. Def order inside & then seat yourself. Outside beer garden was HUGE. Waitress advised us she would take our order but we quickly figured out it was more efficient to order inside & then wait for food delivery. Staff inside wasn't very friendly - I felt like more of an inconvenience. The kitchen was very unfriendly. My dad is on a strict diet & is allergic to corn so we asked for an appetizer but requested vegetables or pita to dip instead of corn chips. We were advised we could not substitute anything (even for an up charge). Ok... so we ordered the hummus plate. The hummus is a cup of (probably) Sabra - we even had little remnants where the lid used to be on the plastic cup. SO ghetto for $8. Esp. b/c our vegetables were rotting (literally, rotten). Brandy was great about fixing that for us but we skipped that appetizer. I ordered the vegetable caprese sandwich - which was pretty good but nothing special. The coleslaw was flavorless (got a substitution much to the kitchens dislike). My dad ordered the pulled pork sandwich &, again, nothing special. Pretty good beer selection, not many 192 beers but other offerings. Trivia on Tuesday & they are upgrading the port-o-potties to actual bathrooms this week.

I like the place. They're located just one block off scenic Bothell Way and 10 feet off the Burke-Gilman trail. They've gotten as much ambiance out of plywood and warehouse space that you could possibly hope to get. They have a great lineup of beers and food trucks with lots of drinking and dining space outdoors on sunny days. My one bit of sadness is that I want to find one of their own 192 beers that I'm really in love with. Hasn't happened. Plenty of great guest taps but nothing from the brewery itself that really knocks it out of the park. Maybe the most awesome feature of this place is growler fills, which typically go for $11 or $12 each. That's just crazy. Especially when some of their guest taps (I'm looking at you, Dirty Bucket) feature growler fills at their own places of business for as much as $18 each. They also have live music but I've never checked it out.

This was a brewery that we haven't hit before and our first on a mini marathon for the day. The atmosphere is nice, that is for sure. Plenty of space for performances on the weekends, a cute beer garden and a fine taproom space. The service was just fine too! The beer and snack we had just wasn't standout though. The Guacamole we had with our chips seemed like it was mass produced and didn't have much flavor to it. The beer was so so too. I had a Vanilla Porter and it was just fair. It kind of tasted like vanilla flavoring drops were put in it rather than the flavors actually being incorporated into the complexity of the brew. Too bad, I wish I could have liked this place more but it just didn't happen.

This place is really cool and a lot different than I was expecting. Speaking to the beer alone, I don't think you'll be disappointed. They have a few of their own and a few from other breweries around the area. The beer is all decent. The thing that really caught me by surprise was the setup. They have a very small tap room that can probably hold about 10 people. Once you get a beer you have 2 other options (I'll talk about the latter in a bit). Just outside of the taproom is an extensive, relaxing, natural, woodland-type outdoor seating area. It is spread with wood chips and all sorts of retired patio furniture which makes for a fun selection of seating choices. This area stretches along the biking/walking trail and can easily accommodate large groups of people. It's a great place to be on a nice day. To our surprise, just on the other side of the tiny tap room is a huge, warehouse-type indoor area that has pool, foosball, and looks like they host live performances. Even if outdoor isn't an option due to weather, it looks like they'd be happy to have you. If you haven't been, I'd definitely recommend you setting aside some time for a relaxing beer or two on a nice day.

I'd say nice "little" brewery, but this actual space is huuuge! I've never seen an outdoor area so big. One of my friends played a show here tonight, so I came up with several friends. The acoustics seemed to be fine. This place has a very chill vibe; I almost felt like I was back home with the farm kids. Oh, there is only one bathroom here. I'm curious to know what all the cotton balls and q-tips are for.... I tried their Honey and Apple blends, which were not bad and had a slight bite. They are currently also carrying a delightful chai blend that was nice and spicy. The nachos were a bit tough to wrestle through but quite tasty with the black bean chili. I would have liked to taste more artichoke in the artichoke dip than cream cheese. Also, their dessert cheesecake special with the beer reduction glaze is nothing short of divine. Definitely worth ordering!

I found the Amber Rye watery and lacking the mellowness I prefer. The Loose Lamb Gyro disappointed me--the meat spicing was neither Mediterranean nor barbecue nor any distinctive spicing.

  • Brittany G.

Will was very helpful and knowledgable about the beer. We mentioned it was our first time and he was quick to talk us through our beer decision. We will be coming back soon :)

  • Sarah N.

We've ridden by many times and always thought it would be a good place to stop & have a beer. Beer garden is nice place to chill, but the food is awful. $12 for a plate of nachos that were barely one step up from gas station nachos. Bottom line - stop here for a break and a beer but don't waste your money on the food.

Absolutely terrible service! Waited 12 minutes and was never acknowledge by any of the two staff members. I finally left and will never return.

Seen this place many times as I ride by on the BGT or drive by on Bothell Way. Finally stopped in with some friends last night for a quick drink and some snacks after a charity event. The atmosphere is really nice on a warm summer night as they have a large amount of outdoor seating and had 3 campfires going with real wood that you can sit around and enjoy your drink and food. I didn't have a beer, but I had a root beer that was on tap that was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the nachos and the sausage sampler platter and both of them were quite good. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Location is good. Parking can be a little tricky as there isn't a big lot and the streets were pretty full of cars. We will definitely be back.

Pretty neat spot off state Road 522. Place is geared towards those riding or jogging the trail. Had a sausage platter that was surprisingly awesome.

My husband and I love to take our infant for a nice long walk on the Burke through Kenmore and stop for a beer in the beer garden on nice days. They have yummy food as well as good beer!

I like this place and frequently visit on Wednesdays for their trivia night, which is a lot of fun and seems to be getting much better with each passing week. I love the fact that dogs are allowed on the premises, both out in the garden and indoors. I also love that there is an outdoor place at all, with seating and firepits available on those warm summer days or nights. Apparently there are s'mores ingredients to be purchased or something (??), but I have never tried them before or asked about where they are. I didn't do 5 stars because I feel like their food selection is severely lacking despite the amount of business they always seem to be having. The food that they do have is also priced high in my opinion. I would prefer either some more food options or cheaper prices, or some cheap new appetizers for multiple people to share, especially since they get a lot of shared tables during trivia night. Every time I order the cheese dip I feel like I should have gotten more for my money. Another thing that bothers me is that sometimes people will bring their babies into the bar area. Why is that okay? It's a bar. Babies don't belong there. Best perks: Dogs allowed, Wednesday trivia night, great beer and cider.

Love the outdoor patio, love kid and dog friendly with live music, but the beer and food are subpar. Will give the beer another try.

The vegetarian falafel pita wrap is warm and tasty, w/ good tzatziki sauce. The nachos are tasty, too, and make sure to order it with the beans added, especially if you are vegetarian. The specialty Eggnong Creme Brûlée had a very good crisp top, and a nice consistency and flavor. And, for those who don't drink alcohol, they offer a flavorful locally brewed root beer. However, I do wish that they would carry a good local non-alcoholic beer. Anyways, I can recommend this place for vegetarians and even non-alcohol drinkers.

We just moved into the neighborhood and look forward to our nights out when we end up at 192. All the employees are super great and always remember us. When we sit outside in the beer garden... people are always coming out and checking on us (no matter how busy it is) and make our time here very enjoyable. Lots of people don't know that they have an indoor spot with fireplaces and fooseball and pool tables. My boyfriend and I have also found the Nintendo 64 which is AMAZING!!! being in our 30s doesn't mean we cant play Nintendo. :) ps: DOG AND KID FRIENDLY!!!! tell your friends. Thanks for all the great brew and company 192 you are doing great!!!

Delicious beers and it tasty foods. But get ready for a warehouse of sparsely placed tables and TVs. Actually, I really like this place and was pleasantly surprised. My food of choice was a buffalo chicken wrap and my exquisite partner chose the bratwurst sandwich. Both of which we loved. I had a local IPA and my partner had a coffee porter. Again, both were delicious. This place is best for large groups of people who want to hang out and have free pool or free Foos ball or watch a large screen TV. And definitely for people who don't care about tableservice or drafts or Decour.

We've been here twice. Once last summer and then again today. I am an average drinker of ale, so I can't speak to how amazing their selection is. I think I may actually have had cider both times. Today I had the cherry cider because I didn't really feel like ale after a hike, it was pretty good, not amazing. What we've had of the food selection is fine, also not amazing, but we go for the laid back atmosphere. Love that it's kid and dog friendly, and there's been live music both times we've been. Can't wait to bring my sister this summer.

Good beer, many varieties on tap and live music in the beer garden. Great location right off the B-G trail. Dog friendly too.

  • Allison W.

Agree with other reviewers... place must get by on location. Ok for a break and a beer but don't waste your money on the food. Several other spots a little off the trail with beer and better food.

    (2)
  • Melissa B.

We love that we can bring our dog and baby to the beer garden. Live music by their staff member is really enjoyable and their trivia nights are free and fun. Good food and drinks. Cons, but not a big deal: Bar area is really tight and only one restroom.

    (4)
  • Jaime Y.

Good beer selection. I think I had the vanilla stout and the root beer. The food could have been better. The atmosphere is a little weird. My friends live up in Lynwood, so it's their favorite spot. I guess if we lived in the neighborhood we would be back, but we don't live nearby. Oh, it's dog friendly!

Awesome stop on the bike trail for a bite and a brew during the warmer months! You'll frequently see doggies there, too.

Craziest beer garden ever, in the best way. Really eclectic furniture and decor, interesting and appropriately volumed live music, and a nice atmosphere that's just barely teetering on the edge of a cliff above the valley of a PG-13 rating. Food orders are placed inside a tiny room that usually has a lot of staff hanging around. I had to ask if I could order something, and felt like I was interrupting them. It says something about the service that none of the employees stand out in my mind at all, but it's a great building in a really unique and appealing location.

This begins my Washington Beer Lovers Tour. A very cool hole in the wall brewery that sells food as a bonus. I grabbed the only brew on tap that is actually brewed for this brewery, not on site, but at the owner's house, in a little 192sf shack, from what I understand. Cool little factoid and not a bad beer. It's a really light Amber, not too carbonated; tastes similar to Newcastle or a Guinness...can't decide. Very nice staff and a pretty cool location, adjacent to some of the industrious buildings of Kenmore. Nice little space inside, but I'm staying outside, basking in what little Sun there has been here in the greater Seattle area for quite some time. I could picture having some fun out here on a hot summer day or night: stumps, plastic and metal chairs to sit on everywhere, little fire pit, statues and fountains...plants and cool old signs. I'm definitely a fan of this place. Great starting point for a journey into beer! ~ cheers

I found everything about this place awesome! First and foremost; DOG friendly! I brought my pooch along with me, which was a first! 192 does NOT brew their own(to my knowledge! I do see some reviews that say otherwise.) They have a wide variety of beers on tap from local breweries. The atmoshere can not be beat! They have a HUGE lot outside with lots of seating. Getting a drink was a little tricky, mainly because I went on the hottest day of Spring thusfar! Easter Sunday, they were open and had no shortage of business! People popping in from their bike rides, or people just like me deciding to hit up a brewery on such a nice sunny day! I waited in line for 15-20 minutes at least. Only had one guy filling the beers, which made it run slowly. I didn't mind, but it did prevent me from going back for another round! I will be back, and will bring my brew-hoppin' friends; human and 4-legged!

My rating is for the beer, free billboards and foos and awesome outside seating. Ate there once. Good dive. Trail side. Cycle friendly. Great staff.

I have been visiting this spot for over two years and it has only gotten better and better! The beer garden is a sanctuary for bike riders and dog owners along the Burke Gilman trail. There are always plenty of friendly dogs and patrons to meet! Staff is attentive and fun; especially the owner. If you prefer to sit indoors, there is a myriad of furniture including pool and foosball tables, a Nintendo 64, and plenty of board games. It's the perfect place for local beer lovers and casual diners.

Laid back, right off the Burke Gillman, outdoor firepit and beer. What else do you need. We LOVE coming here! Must try the Schticky Blonde.

It did not meet our expectations. We thought it was going to be a nice microbrewery but it wasn't!

Awesome location and outdoor patio. Terrible and not inexpensive food. Great guest taps, but the house taps are undrinkable.

  • Amber G.

Lots of beers on tap and lots of space but the atmosphere here is very strange. Big warehouse filled with patio sort of tables and chairs. We were here on a Friday night and they had live music. The bartender was really nice and friendly. The beer selection was good. We ordered nachos and they were fine but nothing special. I would order them again though with beers. I might try to come back in the summer as they have a big outdoor space too. I would give more stars but for the strange atmosphere and food being so-so.

  • Adam H.

Great location of the Burke-Gilman Trail. About 10 great beers on tap at all times. In the summertime the courtyard offers a great experience for people looking just to get off the trail for a quick beer or hang out for as long as you want. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to your needs. Only thing is it needs a bit of upkeep in the main dining area or "garage" but all in all a great destination for people who love a good beer!

I have absolutely no reason to ever ever live in Kenmore. That being said, IF I did live there... i'd be at 192 all the time. It...is just weird. An amalgam of stuff (literal and figuratively speaking) that makes a wonderful quirky beer garden in the middle of suburbia. This is right off the Burke-Gilman, hence my recent visit. After a long bike ride brews are so VERY welcome, and I mean..well. it is RIGHT there. The tap room itself is small. Seating for maybe 20 if you push it. Less if a line forms out the door (and there will be on a wonderfully sunny weekend afternoon). 12 taps -- all excellent selections, a small pub menu utilizing a small set of proteins in different capacities (pulled pork sliders OR nachos, chicken something or other, chips and dip, salmon burgers or.. salmon nachos? bleh). We went for the pulled pork, parked it outside in the shade and waited. First off? The nachos are damn good. The pork is decent -- nothing amazing but who wants to hide amazing bbq pork under copious amounts of colby jack cheese, guacamole, salsa and crema? Not me. One order was more than enough for the two of us, and were apparently so delectable a passing toddler tried his darndest to face plant into them. The beer garden itself? Think comfortable junk yard -- logs for tables, a hodge podge of chairs, sheltered areas, strange fences, metal work, etc. Parking it here with a brew makes for great people watching, not to mention a wonderful break from those slogging it along the Burke. And if you are lazy like me...it is literally right across the street from the Kenmore park and ride so you can just bus it back home instead of trying to drunkenly ride your bike back to Seattle. It's weird here, and that is what makes it wonderful.

My favorite place to get a beer on a sunny day! I love that they are dog friendly. I love the atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to relax.

  • James F.

Good beer selection. Bad Food. Great selection of local micros, and two of their own. The food was very disappointing, worst guacamole I've ever had. Good for a pint while cycling the BG, eat some where else. 4 stars for the beer .5 stars for the food.

  • Kelsea H.

This place has plenty of vegetarian options, but only one vegan option (hummus for $9). I got the nachos, and asked for cheese on one side and sour cream on the side so my bf could have cheese. They accommodated us. The nachos were good, but not worth $12, IMO. They have great beer options and a cool outdoor seating area, but the wood chips they use on the ground really stink and are full of bugs and fleas. It's nice that there's a place to grab a beer of the Burke Gilman trail, though.

    (3)
  • Lisa D.

I like this place. It feels like hanging out in the back yard, drinking good beers and eating nachos. It's definitely a funky vibe. Being outside means you will encounter wildlife as well - we had to fend off a couple overly curious bees. Service is polite and a laid back. Really enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich. We asked about the beers, they are small enough that they often run out of their own beers. So it's kind of hit or miss to try the 192 brews, but they do keep a very well chosen group of other beers on tap.

    (4)
  • Lea R.

I love it they let me bring in my sweet pooch. They are very dog friendly. AND I absolutely LOVE their nachos...mmm mmm good!....along with other entres I've ordered. Nice staff, too. Tx for having a dog friendly environment.

192 Brewing Co is a total hole in the wall and I like it that way! It's small, has mix matched chairs, tables and clientele. I experienced another great evening here a couple weeks back when Iron Horse Brewery was visiting for Brewers Night. The brewer from there was sitting at the counter so I got to chat him up a bit, and left with some sweet Iron Horse swag. The guy behind the counter is always cool, and when you check in on Yelp you save! They now have a food menu which I have never tried, but that just gives me another excuse to come back soon. This isn't a fancy, upitty, hip bar... like I said, hole in the wall. It's like Grandpas old garage filled with awesome beer and cool people. YAH!

    (4)
  • Katie M.

Beer was just okay, the food menu was just okay, but the service was dismal. Abrupt, annoyed, and unkind. I kind of like the random outdoor setup tho, and fellow customers were friendly and fun.

Excellent beer & snacks, very friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere outdoors, like a friend's backyard. Great for post-biking lazing around.

I'd be in trouble if I lived in the area... This is a great little bar. They have a wonderful outside area to sit in (in case it ever gets warm in this area) and nice bar inside and then a big garage/warehouse outback with a live blues band. I really dug the area out back in the garage style building. Totally a great hole in the wall kind of feeling out there. The blues band they had playing the night we were there was pretty decent too. They have a ton of local brewery beers on tap, none of which I will try to claim to remember. I can imagine on a warm summer's night, this is pretty much as good as it gets. I did have to dock for one star on the food: they serve some sort of BBQ sandwich which the meat comes out of a crock pot. I got very sick the following day and I do believe it was because of this. Still, I'd go back in a heartbeat and maybe just skip the crockpot food.

192 brewing has A LOT of outdoor seating, limited indoor seating and a great beer selection from their brewery and others from around the state. Just outside the main drag of Bothell, this place offers private parking, ample bike parking and some food options. This place is with a second visit while in the area!

Start with looking at some photos on this one. They'll tell the story better than a review ever could. This place is carved into pre-existing territory that was never designed for al fresco tippling, and that's absolutely what makes it so cool. This is light industrial land on the shoulders of the lake, with the B-G Trail running right alongside. They've taken over an old warehouse space and created an outdoor beer garden with some light landscaping and mix and match outdoor furniture. Inside, the same thing appears to have happened. The house crew must have hammered everything together, judging by the solid (if rather rough and ready) carpentry everywhere. It's still a newer place, but it looks more like it just happened over time than like it was made from scraps--even though there's a reasonable likelihood that it was made from scraps. But that doesn't stop the place, or even slow it down at all. There's a sense of humor to the whole megilla--the staff is easy-going, funny, and ready to welcome you into what they clearly think of as a proper place to drink a beer. You too should think of this as a proper place to drink a beer. They pour good stuff, their own and guest taps. They have live music regularly, and good stuff playing on the hi-fi when there isn't a band playing out in the, uh, carport, or whatever it is. This definitely in no way resembles a glossy downtown spot for beers. It's a slightly goofy but completely sincere and eminently competently run taproom. It's gonna be a regular spot for me for sure.

Convenient location on the Burk Gilman trail. Nice to stop in and big outside seating area. My beer had to have been at least 42 degrees though. And for 6 dollars plus tip you expect a little more. No happy hour either.

  • Melissa R.

Kitschy patio/yard space but also just kind of bizarre and dirty.. The food was nothing special. I tasted the pulled pork nachos and they left a bit to be desired. It looked like a decent beer selection and I liked my cherry cider well enough, but I think I will fulfill my cider needs elsewhere next time. On the upside...As one co-patron said, "at least it's not trying to be something it's not"

  • Sanjin L.

This place is ugly and too overpriced, food is more than nasty, and beer is nothing special. Outdoor seating is ridiculous, its like sitting in some homeless shelter.

This place has undergone some nice changes the past six months. My previous review mentioned that it was looking somewhat rundown. I am pleased to say they have made great efforts on the grounds and facilities. Looks nice now, while still retaining the casual vibe which I liked when I first went. Also, ordered something off the menu called the meatloaf "something" and it was fantastic! Lastly, as always the employees are nice and friendly. (And at least one of them is a great singer. Saw him on their outside stage while just walking by.)

Like many others, I stumbled upon the place while bicycling on the B-G trail. The next day my wife and I went for dinner. We ordered the beer and food in the tap room and then went outside to the immense beer garden with beers in hand. We sat next to a tub of pond scum and a dead maple tree. A dead palm towered above us. We didn't see any rats, but the "beer garden" needs a serious cleaning. They had none of their own beer on tap, being a couple days away, so we had a couple others, which were fine. Odd that when you order a schooner, you get a half filled pint glass. That is a really tacky way of presentation. They were out of pulled pork, and a few other items. It was before 6PM, people! C'mon, get your inventory figured out. The nachos were tasty on top and merely chips below the surface. Our dog got that portion. I think this place is experiencing growing pains, and we'll likely return in a month to check things out. But, 192, please give the beer "garden" a serious makeover! UPDATE: June 1, 2014: Rating changed from 2 to 4. My wife and I returned today on another warm sunny day. The beer garden was crowded and the line for beer was out the door. The area has been spruced up nicely, and there were many more chairs and tables. There were bicycle uniforms everywhere and a lot of bikes parked next to the fence next to the Burke-Gilman trail. It would be wise for them to have their food menus easily available to people in line, to speed up the choices once inside. We ordered food and beers and sat inside. The beers were good. It was the first time I've had "Odin's Gift", an amber on cask. The pilsener was okay, but not great. The food was pub grub quality, and decent for that. There was only one of their ales on tap, and next time I'll order one.

Excellent pint of bitter, and I enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap. Keep in mind this is more lunch than supper sized though.

Friend and I stopped in for a beer. Unique place. On tap they definitely support all the local brews - which is a good thing. I asked about their own beers and they only had two on tap. Two different so called brown ales. They tasted like flavored water and they were flat. If I could have dumped them I would have. Very dissapointed. I do not like to give negative reviews, but hopefully my honesty will wake the brew master up with honest feedback. If you are looking for some great local beers with a fun atmosphere try - Dirty Bucket Brewing, Brickyard Brewing, 12 Bars Brewing or Triplehorn - all great places, great people and great beer. Sorry 192 Brewing - but willing to give a second shot down the road.

This place would be much better if it were cleaner; and by cleaner, I mean more sanitary. The warehouse can only act as a storage shed for so long. Today, the tables hadn't been cleaned off from the day before. I enjoy this place when there is outdoor seating, but the warehouse isn't a relaxing environment.

This is spot is really bizzare and not much fun. I would stay away if I were you. 1. The staff was rude and a bit standoffish. I walked in to ask which beer was close to a pilsner, and only recieved blank stares. The vaunted chalkboard that listed the beers was illegible. 2, The beer "garden" is a weird and gross, very few tables and almost no shade with music that is far too loud and nearly zero service. Three staff members move stumps around while only one server walks around (and very rarely at that) when the guy brought some food out, we asked him if he could get a server for us, as we had been waiting a long time, the guy (cook?) flat out told us he wouldnt. lame. 3. The unfiltered blonde is really nasty. 4. Watch out for yuppies on bikes and nasty spandex! Not going back.

Service, service, service. I watched 2 employees stand under a tent & watch people out in the "beer garden" while never going out to ask if anyone needed anything. The line out the door is going through a single threaded cash register and bartender, ridiculous. I wanted to spend more time & MONEY but couldn't get any of the 5 employees to do what servers should do which is take food / drink orders and generate revenue for the business and tips for themselves. For gosh sakes run it like a real business & train your employees or hire ones that know what it is to truly be a food / drink server.

QUICK SUMMARY: Cool place. Great beer. Good food. Limited parking. FULL REVIEW: Located right off the Birk Gilman Trail, this little brewery is a hidden gem that caters to riders, walkers, the awkward roller bladers who take their sport too seriously. They have a nice terrace outside, but very limited seating inside. They have good food (when available) too.

Note: We are regulars, so I will admit I have a biased opinion of the place. My wife and I love this place. We are usually here about twice a week, and have been watching as it grows and becomes a great place to eat and drink. When they opened back in May 2012, they were a VERY small taproom with an outdoor beer garden. They had their own beer (not much though) and a nice group of rotating guest taps. They had tasty sliders and chips, and not much else. Now, they have expanded into the whole warehouse that they occupy, are child friendly (In the warehouse and beer garden, not in the bar portion) and have a full menu with fresh additions regularly. Their beer is still rather hard to find (though they almost always have at least one of their own beers on tap now) but there are still at least 8-10 other local beers on tap. The food is great, Chef Randall really knows how to take the little cook space he has and turn out great food that makes the beer shine. I recommend the BLATO (Pork Belly, Lettuce, Avocado, Tomato, Onion) and the Meatloaf with potatoes. I haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't enjoy. The staff is very friendly, and everyone in the bar is always willing to talk. It has a very neighborhood pub type atmosphere, and there are no strangers in the place.

I stopped in here after a walk down the BGT.Helpful bartendress and the sampler is an awesome value.4 decent sized samples for 6$.I don't think they make their own beer there anymore (?) ,it is just taps from local breweries.I recall having their Kenmore Gold at BeerFest but they didn't have it anymore.Nice small place to stop in for a beer on the BGT.Lots of bicyclists in there and the seats were comfy. The food looked fine, mostly nacho variations, but certainly appetizing. All in all, I will go back next time I'm walking/riding by on the BGT.

Live this little place on the BG trail, I often cycle down on my bike with the dog. They are fido friendly inside and out. A back area for watching TV, a cool little bar and a lively garden foe when the sun visits. They also have live music out in the garden in the summer. Wish there was more places like this along the trail.

Great concept! We loved the outdoor seating with several fire pits! The staff was friendly, the beer is decent. We ordered the nachos and were disappointed... We would come back for beer with friends around the fire pit, but we'd eat before we got here.

Really wanted to love this place, but I'm just not sure. Stopped in a few times and they've never had any of their own beers on tap. Sometimes they don't have anything interesting on tap at all. Needs to be cleaned up a little bit and selection needs to be improved. It's a cool location, but it kind of looks run down and junky.. Especially on the outside. There's "stuff" everywhere... Garden statutes, potted plants, pieces of wood, junk plastic, garbage, etc... It's just odd. Not quite sure what they're going for. The people were super friendly though, so that's a huge plus. Otherwise i would probably give it one star :(.

I want to start off by saying that I love the Lake Trail Taproom. This place is super relaxed, and allows me to bring my dog children with me. The outside seating area is so relaxing, especially since they have partnered with Pipers Creek Nursery. Their beer selection is always great. They also have an inside warehouse area that seats a ton of people. This place is obviously run by a couple of dudes... the ambiance is that of a friends house, not a fancy business. Once you embrace that, it's great. They have cards if you want to play games, a bike pump in case you are getting low while riding the BGT, and they have fire pits outside and are willing to start fires for you. My ONLY complaint is that the food is not great. I recently decided to try the food again, so I ordered the salmon dip. It had very obviously just been scooped from a container, it was cold, and served with hard little crostinis and cucumbers. It was alright.... but it would be nice to see them put a little more effort in to their kitchen.

This place is the diviest of dives, but very homey, and the food is delicious! Expect a place that has everything thrown together, from grandma's chairs to rusted pots with magnificent plants that once were amazing (now perished without a thought). Expect above average food at great prices and a great selection of beers.

192 Brewing is by far one of the most unique breweries of this area. The brewers and employees are super cool and super chill. The brewer is noticeably committed to good beer and with the approach of a 'construction themed', 192 sq. ft. brewery located in the busiest part of Kenmore....I applaud their decision. The taproom is obviously small, yet it's smartly combined with a very comfortable outdoor sitting area. I love this brewery because of its bare-boned, classic, micro-brewery style and wonderfully personal beers, paired with a brilliantly selected rotation of guest taps. Good prices, good people, good beer. PS--- Their unfiltered Honey Blonde is a perfect session beer.

My dog loves this place! It is funky, fun and friendly. Not a beer fan, but they have cider (which I do love). What better than a glass, a fancy glass at that, of cider on a sunny day. The food is decent too. I tried the chili and loved it. Worth a stop.

Decent place to drink beer off the trail. Ride your bike here, drink beer and don't expect amazing customer service. Overall a good place to drink on a sunday afternoon.

Lots of potential here. The Good: the location is right on the Burke-Gilman Trail, there's nothing else like it in Kenmore, or LFP. There's a big outdoor seating area with fire pits. Nice selection of beers, the wine is from Chateau Ste Michelle. The Bad: The food. I ordered the "Cheesy Garlic Bread," which turned out to be a Costco type roll, cut open, topped with shredded cheese from a bag and nuked. The Bratwurst was served on the same Costco roll, which was ginormus compared to the bratwurst. The ugly: The service. We sat at the bar, with 3 people working behind it, and didn't get service until we were forced to ask for it. And even then, the 3 kids behind the counter didn't seem sure they'd do anything for us. Had to ask if it was alright to order at the bar. (!) Had to ask for menus. There was one on-the-ball waitress, who was sadly leaving for her other job not long after we got our drinks. The owner sat near by having drinks with friends. I'm hoping they'll figure out the service and food.

I finally popped in to the Lake Trail Taproom. There's a nice, chill vibe here, for sure. Luckily, I wandered in on a Tuesday, which means it was Brewer's Night. This night was sponsored by Emerald City Brewery. Live music was playing in the courtyard, which is quite roomy, and very nice after a long ride. The proprietor from Emerald City was on hand to talk about their brews offered at 192, and to give away some shwag. I was a little disappointed that there were no 192 brews to try. I almost wanted to say 'meh' for the review. However, it's great that they are supporting local breweries. Plus, the 2 guys working there were super nice and on top of things, and seem to be pretty genuine. I look forward to coming back to try their bevvies specifically. This time, I had a Hoppy Ale and Emerald City's Dottie Seattle Lager on tap. They are open better hours than most of the other new breweries in the area, which makes me happy. In addition, they have food! At reasonable prices, to boot. I had a pulled pork slider, which was doused with a Kenmore BBQ sauce... It was mighty tasty. They have the types of food I usually love when having my beer; pretzels, nachos, chips, etc. The only thing I would REALLY like to see(because I spend an hour or two riding out here) is something carb-fabulous, but not crazy on the fat scale. I don't expect anything crazy like pasta or rice, but something along the lines of dried fruits, low fat granola bars, or the like. I'll be trying out the pretzel next time around. Right on the trail... genius!!!!!!

I found this place to be more of a taproom relying on other brewery's than thier own "beers" which they only had one. The service when we walked in was any but welcoming or informational. The live music/fireplace room is more of a cluttered storage warehouse that used to be a pool and garden store with remnants of its previous life everywhere. There was food being served but didn't venture into that. It has tons of potential but that not been tapped into. They need to clean this place up and it could be a winner.

This a great little brewery with fresh beers, good food and free entertainment. Very chill vibe as soon as you walk in with random outdoor patio furniture everywhere. There is also fire pits and tiki torches that enhance the outdoor atmosphere. The nachos are delicious and have a heavy Mexican flavor to them.

My visit to the 192 "Taproom" was one of the worst experiences of my life. I have never reviewed anything online before today but was so compelled by my horrible experience that I had to go home and create a Yelp account just so i could warn people not to ever subject themselves to what I just went through I was recommended the 192 by a friend, and after a bike ride on the Burke G trial, my friends and I stopped by to have a beer. After arriving at the 192 "brewery/tap house" I went past the chain linked fence into the tiny shack-taproom. After waiting in line for 10 minutes while the one guy behind the counter slowly took the beer order of each person, slowly turned around and slowly poured one beer at a time; Then slowly handed the full beer across the register to each person; Then slowly rang up the total; Then slowly collected the money; Then repeated the process for every person, it was my turn to order. I decided to go for the 192 IPA made right there. I am a fan of craft brews after all. After paying, my two friends and I shuffled out into the "beer garden." Now I use the term Beer Garden very loosely. And by loosely I mean sarcastically. Have You ever been to a Plant Nursery or a hardware store that has an outdoor section where you can buy potting soil, rakes, backyard pond equipment, etc? It was like that except missing all of the gardening equipment and Lighting and in its place were probably 20 or so plastic lawn chairs, haphazardly placed around the gravel yard, with a few molding tables, a broken coy pond and a few dying trees and plants. Did I mention there was no lights, or lighting whatsoever. Taking a seat in almost pitch black i was ready to forget about the terrible atmosphere and service and enjoy my signature, homemade 192 IPA. All was lost as soon as I took a sip of the beverage in my glass. THE WORST BEER I HAVE EVER HAD found its way past my lips and down into my stomach. Not only was it warm, and filled with sediment, but it was so bitter and so citrus-y I almost choked. I would rather drink a Milwaukee's Best than to ever even have to smell that beer again. I literally poured out the whole beer out onto the gravel and refilled my glass with a warm canned rolling rock my friend had in his backpack. After that glass of cyanide, that Rolling Rock tasted like champagne. If all this wasn't bad enough, there were mice/rats scurrying around in the bushes and under the chairs. All around, just an awful place. Some nights I wake up in cold sweat because I was having a nightmare of being back in that rat-filled gravel beer garden with a 192 IPA in my hand . But then i realize that I am safe in my bed and not back at the 192.

This place has a very casual and comfortable atmosphere. You literally sit out in the garden of a koi pond and garden supply business. The tap room is just big enough to hold the proprietor, a few customers, and the beer that's on tap. Have a pint, fill a growler, pop open a 22...there are a few choices all from local breweries. We were pleased with the 192 lemon blackberry ale. It was a nice way to welcome in summer on the 4th of July. We will be coming back...as soon as we can.

I'm pretty sure this is one of my new favorite places in the entire world - and that says a lot. There is a cute almost cafe-esque front area with a beer counter. Then there's an attached warehouse, and it's full of the most random assortment of chairs I've ever seen. And then there's this gigantic beautiful garden area full of chairs again. All in all, it creates this funky, comfy atmosphere. Its's like hanging out in your best friend's living room except even better. The beer selection is EXCELLENT. All local; nice variety, but not overwhelming. I guess they sell out of their own brew within days, so I didn't get to try that. The food menu is short but very good; it was hard to decide! My BBQ pork sliders were great. It's so hard to find a good beer place with even slightly decent food. The prices were fantastic as well. The staff was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. We ran into the owner on our way out. He was a really cool guy; obviously genuinely enthusiastic about creating a really awesome place to hang out - not just good beer and/or a lot of money. He said that they light a big fire out in the garden, cook smores, and have a great social time every weekend. I can't wait to try that out. I'm pretty sure I would like to visit this place every night.

fun outdoor atmosphere, modest, better than bar food menu, space to stretch out, and they know their beers! in fact, they will let you sample each one before you pay for a whole pint!

Never in my life have I been treated so rudely as I was here. I walked in and sat at the bar and no one would acknowledge me or serve me. Multiple people walked up to the bar and got service. The man sitting at the bar next to me shook his head in disbelief. Rude rude rude staff. Avoid this place at all cost.

I was looking for a place close by that fills growlers, and was very happy to find this new brewery and taproom in Kenmore. I tried a couple of the beers on tap (192's lemon blackberry ale was really tasty!) and filled my growler while I was there, but I definitely plan on coming back again in the future to try more of their beers, as well as the pulled pork sliders!

This is such a great place to relax after or during a ride. You can sit on their patio and listen to live music while enjoying local brews. The staff is down to earth and kicked back. They are just getting up and going so there's a bit of a rawness to it which is one if its many charms in my opinion. They have a limited menu featuring nachos, pork sliders, and a couple of salads (I'm missing some items). The food is sufficient. I can't wait to see the evolution of this place...it's already off to a great start!

It's a great, unpretentious beer garden pit stop on the Burke Gilman. Bike hangers in the space between the chain-link and the wall allow you to put your bike up out of the way. It's not pretty, but they have a decent selection of beer and a bathroom and plenty of space to cool off after 20 miles of biking. Sample everything!

Being a native of large city of Kenmore I was tickled pink to see us get our first Brewery . Like many great pieces of art its still a work in progress . Put the owner has plans for bigger and better things in the future . He was passion for his craft which you can taste when you enjoy a beer or three . Kenmore rules go Vikings !!!

This place has some really quality beers. I highly recommend their hefeweizen, strong citrus notes. It's great to see quality beer like this in Kenmore and they plan to open a restaurant so go support these guys because lord knows Kenmore needs some better dining.

I love that this location is right off the Burke Gilman, it gives me an excuse to get out and ride my bike with a destination in mind. It is a very odd place on the inside, but I am sure it will improve in time. Strangely while there I was unable to drink any of this brewery's actual beer, apparently they are so small it comes and goes the same day the keg is opened usually. They do keep the taps stocked with local breweries though so there is no fear of not having any beer to drink. I was able to learn about other local breweries in the area including some others that could possibly be used for a bike ride outing. I have had the opportunity to try this beer at festivals though so I was not too dissapointed. I really like the outside area and am looking forward to checking this out on a hot summer day. They have plans to expand pretty much everything so I am sure it is a continual work in progress. At some point it is supposed to include a steakhouse for food as well. It seems to be a work in progress and has only been at this location a few months. Owner is very knowledable about beer and fun to discuss such things with. Sounds like they have trivia and live music on certain nights as well. Bathroom is a little out of the way and only 1 for a brewery does seem problematic, but I am sure this is also included in the improvement plan. For those not on bikes, there is parking in the back. There is also food available currently, along with wine and cider.

Disappointing! Beer was warm, food didn't get finished - tried salmon nachos (came missing some of what was supposed to be offered) and brat. Brat wasn't good at all. Liked the dog friendly, find your own place atmosphere. Could see this place do real well if fixed a few things, in my opinion.

great house beer and a great rotating selection of local beers. They also carry high quality rootbeer which is a great addition to the selection. Food is great and the atmosphere is perfect.

This is a funny little place, but I like it. Its kind of like a side garage area, complete with half completed furniture and weird mix/match bar stuff. If you're on the Trail and want to stop for a beer, this is a good place. The outdoor spot is nice, but there are only 2 tables with umbrellas, so it can get hot out there. Inside, your seating is limited to a bar stool or a wooden bench. The beer selections change every so often and they had pulled pork nachos available when we were there, but we didnt have them. They looked good!

I love places like this and hope to see more in WA. It's kind of hard to find if you're not familiar with the area, but it's more than worth it [Look for the big yellow building {Arrested Development reference?}]. Great WA-only beers on tap, all rotating. I haven't seen the 192 Brewing beers on tap yet because the Kenmore faithful seem to kill the kegs faster than I can get there. Nonetheless, the guest taps more than satisfy and the atmosphere is great. It's an atypical beer garden - think less German, more sitting in an actual garden with a guy playing guitar. It's pretty rustic, but cozy and honest. Apparently they are going to expand the beer garden to nearly double what it currently is and open up more real estate adjacent to the currently cramped taproom - sounds to me like it'll be a cozy coffee shop atmosphere, but with beer, which suits me fine. I heartily recommend this place.
