This place is now a frozen yogurt place, thank god! It's so nice to have one near me. Anyways, they have some of the most amazing kind hearted staff working there all the time and I've grown quite fond of them. They are always so sweet and caring. Love this place, their yogurt, and their staff! :)
I really enjoyed their burger dip with crinkle fries. They don't use frozen burger patties. Their burgers are hand formed and taste fresh. They also have frozen yogurt machines. I'll definitely be back for another burger dip.

Mediterranean Gyro Grill

Reviews:
Some of the best Greek/Mediterranean food I've had, and easily the best in THIS area. The place looks a little divey, but it's cozy inside and roomier than it appears. The staff is super friendly; whenever I go in, which isn't terribly often (so I know they don't remember me), they treat me like a daily regular. There can be a bit of a wait, especially if they're busy (which is often), but it's a testament to their made-to-order food and their popularity. The wait is worth it; I promise.
My husband and I are big travelers for both work & fun. This place is as authentic as you can get in the area. The gyro meat and kabobs are simply the best. The food is very flavorful & the portion sizes are huge. We've eaten here about 4 times and the food is consistently great. We always get the combo platter & then try something new on the menu. The dining room is small and they only have one high chair, so on one occasion we had to wrangle a little 14 month old to stay in the booster seat which was not easy. The only other issue we had was that the service is not fast, so be sure to order some appetizers if you've got little ones or are really hungry. The food is certainly worth the wait, but toddlers don't understand that concept! We do wish they'd toss in a couple of fries in their gyros & did not have lettuce w/ the Greek salad...that'd make it 100% authentic, but in talking with owner understand they tried that customers (who hadn't traveled to Greece) found it it's a strange concept so they switched it up. Regardless, this is another hidden gem in Federal Way!
I really wanted to like this restaurant. We went on a Sunday night (March '15) as a group of six who dined in. The food was good, but the service was inconsistent. We waited a long time for our food and were told this was due to the small kitchen. When it did start arriving it came out a couple plates at a time, followed by a 10 minute delay before the next delivery to the table. Some dishes ordered had to be asked for several times. At least one dish never arrived, but did show up on our check. When asked about removing the missing item, the staff on site were unable to correct it; they needed to wait for the owner to return to do it. In the end, the check still wasn't correct and we were told it couldn't be fixed. I may try it again. I hope next time for a positive experience.

Gyros House

Reviews:
Best gyros I have had in the entire Seattle area. So fresh and delicious! Come here if it's your birthday because you'll get free baklava. At least my 11 year old daughter did after she picked this as her birthday lunch.
I was in the Federal Way area and looking for a quick bite to eat so of course I hopped on yelp and had seen this gyro joint in the mall food court (I usually steer clear of mall food) with high ratings and it sounded good at the time so....why not. When you think of food court food, you think basic. And that's what it was like here. It wasn't bad at all! But it also was not anything special. The meat seemed flat..almost fake? And there was too much sauce which was overpowering. The service was rather awkward. The guy that helped us at the front didn't greet us at all, in fact he only said a couple words regarding our order. But later a different guy with much enthusiasm came out and greeted many people so I guess it's hit and miss service. On the plus side it was 8 dollars for a gyro, fresh fries and a drink! I didn't regret eating here but I don't think I'll be coming back here for a gyro.
Recently I discovered the Falafel so I started coming here. The first three times was ok. Not particularly friendly nor rude. The pita didn't have as many falafel balls as elsewhere, it was a bit expensive but whatever. Well yesterday I drive there to get a falafel sandwich, this one guy says they don't have any and it'll be an hour. So ok I wait an hour, then its another guy manning the booth, Mr. Bluetooth. So I tell him I want a falafel and he looks at me like I asked for caviar or something. I believe he said something like "we don't sell falafel". I suppose he meant they were all out or something unless I'm imagining "FALAFEL" in their menu or the first three times I got a falafel. So I'm kinda speechless at this point and he just stares at me with this intense apathy. How about simple "I'm really sorry, we're all out of ingridients, please come tomorrow and you can have your falafel". NO! This guy... Bald, always wearing a bluetooth. I don't want to lie or embellish, he's not rude but this complete New York City type attitude. Like he doesn't have time to be simply nice to his customers. He's completley apathetic. I swear I don't ask for much. You don't have to be overly cheery but how about just act professional. Act like you're happy for my business and money. This guy gives off vibes like he doesn't care. I want a falafel BLANK STARE "We don't sell falafel". Or even how about "We don't have falafels today, would you like a gyro instead?". That would've been great, I might even had tried a gyro. But no. My parents were in food service and I was around that as a kid. My parents didn't speak great english but they at least TRIED to be nice to their customers because their livelyhood depended on it. It truely disgusts me all the people in this city who completley take their customers for granted. You don't have to be overly peppy, you don't have to treat me like a king I just want a minimum of respect. Gyro House and Mr. Bluetooth don't have that. Maybe that's not important to you but that's very important to me. Oh and as for the food? The falafel was below average but the salad was a nice bonus but around $8 for a small falafel and a salad? You do the math.

2nd time here. Ordered yukgaejang. Flavors were spot on. Perfect. Ordered haemul pajun aka seafood pancake. It was loaded w calamari and shrimp. Came on a cast iron hot plate so it stayed warm and crispy. Friend ordered gamjatang aka pork bone and potato soup. It was her first time trying the dish. It was thick, savory, full of flavor and huge pieces of meat. She loved it. Portions are huge for the price u pay. We had leftovers on everything we ordered. Definitely coming back again.
We stopped by So Moon Nan Jib on a late afternoon, and the restaurant was still half-full. We wanted BBQ, so we were seated at a table with a grill. The place isn't the fanciest, but the food is why you come here (leave your jackets in your car of course). Unfortunately, there was only two of us, so we couldn't order one of the combos since they feed at least three. We ended up ordering two BBQ items so we could get the soup and steamed egg: Kalbi ribs: really good, definitely a must-order at KBBQ. BBQ chicken: I was surprised that I liked this dish: it had good flavor (chicken thighs). As I mentioned earlier, you get tofu soup (just ok), steamed egg (I really liked this dish), salad and 8 dishes of banchan. Overall, everything tasted really good. Too bad it is so far away from Issaquah for me. Next time, I am bringing some more friends so that we can try the combo meals.
I live very near by and it's extremely easy for me to come here for dinner. The thing I love the most here is the grilled mackerel. It's so yummy, so flavorful, I wish I could be eating it right now. I've also tried the seafood pancake that was great, perhaps it was the best seafood pancake I've ever had. The bibimbap and steamed dumplings were nothing special to my taste. I'm not a big meat eater so I haven't tried their BBQ but I have a feeling that it's good which is why I'm giving the place a benefit of a doubt on this in my rating. The place is dated and comes off as unclean. All in all, from what I've tasted here so far I concluded that if I didn't live in the area I would not come back here. The food is not that spectacular here to drive here from outside of Federal Way and I can always grill a mackerel at home just as well for 4 X less expensive.
